Worst experience ever. Waited 10 minutes for, drinks. I saw our food just sitting at the counter for 10 minutes, our server was no where to be found and all they could do was give us $7 off.

I really enjoy watching a team work seamlessly. Got to sit at the counter where we could see the whole short order process. Everyone knew exactly what to do and they did so very well. We each had a Rocket Dog and split an Oreo cookie and cream shake. A great lunch for us. .

The burgers and fries were as good as comfort food can get. I expected better mild shakes, thought they would be like the old days, really whipped and creamy, Not!

The food was good for this type of place. The onion rings were outstanding. Very friendly staff. Just across the street from the Georgia Aquarium. There is great oldies music playing all the time, and the wait staff occasionally puts on a little dance to go with it.

a traditional fast food bar with quarterounder. It has a nice atmoshpere and design. The choice of burgers and french frais is good too. The only dissadvangate is a farily slow service.

Good food, good prices. Typical 50's dinner. They have jute boxes at the table that should be turned back on but that is inconsequential to your dining experience .

Grabbed lunch before the World of Coca Cola. Kids enjoyed their tenders and fries. I enjoyed my Route 66 burger. Service was a little slow but one waiter seemed to be running the whole floor, so understandable. Big portions. None of us finished our meal.

Great place to stop for a bite before hoing to see sites around Atlanta great burgers and best milkshake. Great staff too

I'm not a fan of fast food. I prefer healthier options and a dine in experience. But the kids wanted burgers and fries and we popped in here. We enjoyed it all. They have a bbq chicken salad that was just awesome. The service wasnt great but the food made up for it.

We had lunch here after a morning at the Georgia Aquarium. I ordered the hot dog and it can on a sliced bread looking bun. It was OK. The hot dog tasted good , but was salty the bread was kind of greasy, but soft. The restaurant was somewhat busy, but the service was pretty fast considering. I like that they give the ketchup in a plate with a design. v The milkshake was good too.

Great place to go eat, and it has a good location. Come here if you want to grab something fast and tasty.

We chose this restaurant primarily because of its location being close to World of Coca-Cola. The wait staff were absolutely lovely, the food was nice and overall we have no complaints.

While downtown visiting the GA Aquarium (see my review of that) some friends and I walked across the street to Johnny Rockets for lunch, and we were not disappointed. I like a good burger and this was one of the best. Shakes were very good, and I really liked their fries. If you go visit the aquarium, skip lunch there and run over to JR's. You won't be disappointed at all. Wide selection of burgers and other sandwiches too if you have a picky bunch.

Friendly wait staff! This was our first time to a Johnny Rocket's place and they were patience to let us look over the menu. They even provided a nickel while we waited, but our jukebox wasn't operating. The food was excellent and prices were affordable! I would recommend coming here.

Excellent burger and fries. Visited after a trip to to the Coca-Cola museum. Fast and friendly Great service, super cheap- loved it

Service was great, food was alright. I paid with my card and left a cash tip however I was charged 15 dollars more than what my bill was for. Family of 4, so the 18% gratuity charge for parties of 6 or more doesn’t apply. Pay cash if going here!

Visited this establishment yesterday after our trip to the Georgia Aquarium. We have been to a Johnny Rockets on a Royal Caribbean cruise ship so had an idea of what to expect food wise. Service wise it took 8 minutes to get seated although the place at the time was not terribly busy and this was only after I said something to the shift manager after myself and another guest had been waiting for a bit. It took an additional 10 for a waitress to come take our order. The restaurant was also in need of paying more attention to its cleanliness especially given the current coronaviris outbreak. There was food all under our table, out of the 3 tables we had pushed together 2 of them had mustard residue all over them and the bathrooms were filthy. Fortunately I had my own sanitizing wipes and Lysol to quickly clean it myself. The only positive of this experience was that the food was good and our waitress was actually nice. Unfortunately, I personally would not recommend eating here again until they can be more attentive to their cleaning.

Johnny Rockets is always consistent with fair prices for generous portions. The bacon cheese tots were so good. Our server had a great personality and took very good care of us. We highly recommend this location.

After a long day of volleyball, we got to the restaurant at 8:45 to be told they were only taking to go orders. Seems a little early to close a restaurant in downtown Atlanta on a Friday night. The staff was less than friendly, I assume it was because they too have had a long day of serving, but that is their job. We couldn't even check our food before leaving.

Food came out fast and hot. Service was slow but good burgers, great shakes and cute redtaurant with the 50s theme.

This was our first trip to a Johnny Rockets. It was a retro sort of experience where the place is set to a 1950's malt shop theme. The service here was poor. We walked in and at least four people looked at us. They turned away shortly after looking our way. We had to wait to be seated as the sign said but no one seemed to want to seat anyone. Finally we got our table and eventually made an order. Here you can order fairly tasty burger and hotdogs but your sides are alla carte and large. You don't get fries "with your burger" you have to order the fries separate and they come in a portion large enough for two people. We were not blown away here by the food. I would say it was average but would likely not go back to this place if I was in the neighborhood.

I always enjoy the Johnny Rockets experience! And my favorite is the chocolate milkshake! They give you a nickel to choose a song for the jukebox too.

The servers do not smile and it takes forever to get served and then get your food. Just ok. Not thrilled.

We visited this restaurant on Friday, November 3 around 3:00 pm. We were seated by a distracted server who then disappeared. We waited for at least 15 minutes. Nobody spoke to us, nobody acknowledged us, nobody took our drink order. We left and went to nearby Stats and had delicious burgers and professional service.

My wife and i went to Johnny Rockets after a long time. This store truly took me back to the years my dad used to take me back home. The service was great, everyone very attentive.

The american fast food experience with a thematic ambience !!! They have great hamburgers and appetizers with a lot of cheese and chili on top!

Had a nice quick lunch here on a Sunday afternoon. Service was fast, wait staff was excellent, shakes were amazing.

food was greasy and bland... I've never sent tater tots back until I went to this place. Service was mediocre at best.

First time going there, was a nice experience. Food was good and service was good too. Was a good place to experience, glad to have went. If you're hungry you can get food that'll fill you up and the cost is at good prices. Nice little spot.

One of the best chicken sandwiches I’ve ever had. We all ordered something different off the menu yet we all still thought it was amazing and enjoyed it. The service was great and straight to the point. They were very personable. There was a 10 min wait to be seated but it is definitely worth the wait. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Looking for that all American nostalgic 1950 s feel . Johnny Rockets was exactly what we were looking for .All Chrome and Formica with staff in old style uniforms .The food was what we were looking for too. Burgers and fries and soda . To be honest the restaurant was exactly what we imagined it would be . Even down to the staff all stopping to dance a choreographed routine to one of the favourite songs being played over the PA. The overall experience was a fun . Good service and the food whilst not anywhere near as good as other burger joints was ok as well .I know I put a score of 3 up but feel its not a four , realistically its between the two at three and a half but that's not an option !

Stopped here for lunch on a quick day trip to Atlanta. Service was fast and pleasant. The food was delicious and fresh. Loved the ranch that came with the onion rings, that will forever be my new things.

We stopped here to eat before we went into the Georgia Aquarium. It's right across the street so a great spot. Service was fantastic, food was excellent and atmosphere was fun! I wish we had them locally and I'd eat there more.

Cool '50's feel. Little 5 cent jukeboxes at the tables. The food was good. Service was a little slow, but they were really busy so we understood.

We used to go to the original Johnny Rockets when the kids were little. It was always sparkling clean, quality food, and a real family treat. We just about wore out Rockin Robin on the jukebox. Fast forward twenty years, and we have coincidentally eaten at JR three times in the past two months, after a long period of not visiting at all. We thought our experience at the two in Warsaw was because it was, ya know, a foreign burger joint, and airport food to boot. Nope. At least they’re consistent because our experience in Atlanta was just exactly the same. Friendly but extremely disorganized servers (had to remind them at two out of three locations that one of our party hadn’t received their food yet and that person got their meal considerably later than the rest of the party), tasteless lukewarm limp fries, and lackluster burgers. Even had to beg someone to bring us a salt shaker, and later, cutlery for an open faced sandwich (which was a surprise- was expecting a sandwich as pictured on menu). Would not go out of our way to visit another one after these three experiences. Sad. It used to be “an experience”, but they’ve Steak and Shaked it. At least S&S does the food better.

My hubby and I stopped here for a bite to eat after visiting the World of Coke but before our visit to the Georgia Aquarium. It’s in walking distance of both. We both bad burgers and fries which were delicious. The service was very quick and friendly. The prices were affordable. Johnny Rockets has an old school diner feel with 5 cent juke boxes at each table. I would recommend for a quick bite while visiting this areas attractions. They have a pretty extensive diner menu and good food.

The food was excellent, but expensive. Food for two and a baby was 50 bucks, and it was just your standard burger and fries fare.

The decor is 1950's pop shop diner including 5c juke boxes at the table. The wait staff was attentive. The selection is varied. The burgers are deliious. I ate here with my two kids and they both loved the food. Especially the milk shakes.

Super lunch in walking distance from attractions. Walk carefully by construction on sidewalks. Our family liked the burgers and fries. Server good. Downside the jukebox never played our songs.

Went here for lunch with a few friends. Very good service, burgers and shakes. The fries tasted burnt and "oily" though.

Walking around town and daughter felt like ice cream. So we stopped here. We got a milkshake a the bar and all was good. Neat atmosphere and had good service.

We got there and it took so long for our waitress to even come to the table. Then it took a while just to get water. So I ordered the single burger and asked for Pepper Jack Cheese, my daughter got the chicken tenders. THE FOOD WAS AWFUL!!!!!!!! The tenders were inedible, the burger was wrong the only half way decent thing was the fries. the manager then said that she made my burger which I sent back and all the did was scrape off the old cheese and added the pepper jack on top. A TOTAL WATSE OF MONEY!!!! WOULD NOT RECOMMEND TO A DOG!!!!!!!!

We left the aquarium for lunch and ended up here. We got in very quickly (just lucky b/c the crowds showed up about 20 min. later). Our waiter has been working for JR for 15 years and he was just amazing. Friendly, happy, and really wanted to make sure we enjoyed our lunch. **Owner of JR - be sure to give him a raise b/c he really went above and beyond, and not just for us, for EVERYONE he was serving**. Food and milkshakes were great, just what you would expect.

Lunch shop full of just one waitress. Upon entering said to wait. Then it says there are no tables though we can see five or six empty tables. When trying to at least go to the bathroom the waitress screams to the whole restaurant to hear that has to wait. She was SO RUDE . Beggars at the door complete the scene. I never try to go there again.

First, tried to visit an hour before they were suppose to close, but they had already closed and locked the door. Sign on the door said they were opened until 9:00 pm, but closed at 8:00. Visited the next day around 6:00 pm. Tried to order takeout, but the host never would look up and take my order acted as if I was not even there.

Food was okay. Decor was reminent of days gone by. Service was a little slow. Not all table top juke boxes worked including the 1 at our table.

The food here was very good and the atmosphere was what you would expect. Nothing fancy - but fun. Our waitress was very attentive to our needs as well.

We stopped in for a quick bite. The only thing that was good was the waiter and the Cherry coke. I wouldn’t stop here again. Very disappointing.

When we went there, it was super busy, so understandably service was slower. Having said that, our server was very friendly and the food was good and fairly priced

So we were very tried and hungry so we had seen this place close to the Aquarium and decided to give a go. It was very busy the staff there were running from one table to another but were still very friendly we placed our orders as soon as we were seated we had been looking at the menu's while we were waiting to be seated so we would be ready. As we were waiting we were looking around the atmosphere there is a big fifties style the kids got a pretty good kick out of. When our food came it was hot fresh, they topped our drinks off we had a very nice time deftly worth going back to again

This place is very close to the Aquarium and Coca Cola. They have many different choices of burgers. The burger's are great! The service was very good too!

I am very disappointed. My family of 5 (3 young kids) just checked into our hotel after a long drive. We got changed right away and walked over to Johnny Rockets. We weren’t even acknowledged by one employee when we got there. We waited about 8 minutes because they were waiting on a few tables but still didn’t even receive a greeting. On a Sunday, when they close at 9pm, we arrived at 8:05pm. We went back outside to try to figure out a new plan to eat and moments after we walked outside, an employee came out to take their sign inside and locked the doors. At 8:15pm. Completely unacceptable and worst customer service I’ve encountered in a long time. Now we have to wait until 9:50 for a pizza delivery. Very frustrating since we were actually looking forward to eating Johnny Rockets.

Of course after walking around in the Aquarium we looked for a great place to have lunch. Johnny Rockets was a great choice. The staff was very friendly and sang there to 😉,the food was great and we had a great time. We for sure will be there again.

I took my daughter for lunch and she truly enjoyed her chicken tenders, and the price and service was great. Enjoyed playing the jukebox with the nickel that was given to us by our server.

Great place to rest your feet and introduce grandkids to ram music, burgers, fries & tasty shakes ! Diner atmosphere, fast service and though always busy we waited only 3 minutes for seat at the counter . The waitress even gives you a nickel to play a song in old fashioned jukebox.

Stopped in after touring for a quick bite. Love the 50s theme and atmosphere. Food is the usual but was good. Friendly staff.

Place was clean and service was good. Atmosphere is about what you'd expect and the food was great. Unfortunately they ran out of caramel for the caramel shakes that were on special that day.

This was our first visit. To our pleasant surprise upon walking in we saw that it was a diner. We chose to sit at the bar. The service was excellent as was the food. We ordered the mushroom burger and fries. The three of us enjoyed our meal. It was hot and fresh made to order. It was also fast. The meal was fairly priced. It was convenient to the aquarium where we were headed. Recommend.

The decor is old school American dinner. You have seen it before, and this is done well. The food it to match, with the specialty being a Tater Tot dish that can be smothered in chili, cheese, and an assortment of other lovely things.

Food was okay. We may have just caught them at a bad time. It was a busy Friday afternoon. Our server was friendly but none of the staff looked like they wanted to be there. Food was okay but nothing special. We were visiting the center for civil rights and coca-cola museum making a stop here convenient. We got some burgers that were just okay but nothing special. Honestly if you're not interested in their shakes you might as well go to McDonald's.

Based on the appearance, this looks like a high priced restaurant. Wrong! Great food prepared fresh (sit at the bar to watch) and the waiters give you nickels for the jukebox which plays the songs overhead. Great place for families and couples!

First impressions were "oh this is your typical retro bar with malts and jukeboxes...got it" but the staff are what make it a warm, friendly, and fun experience! The food was good for a fair price. Right across from the aquarium! Would recommend to anyone!

Garbage garbage and more garbage! Small place, small portions. Rather had Wendy’s. Place is trashed and filthy. Find somewhere else to go.

Tasty food, great burgers, reasonable priced, just 'OK' service. Want to see where else we've been? Find us on Facebook TheTraveling5

The staff was very welcoming! The food was good. I enjoyed the music as well. They give you a nickel to play on the little jukeboxes on your table. My song didn't play, but it's a cute idea.

You can't go wrong with a Johnny Rocket milkshake. We had the burger, fries and shakes. Everything was JR good. The restaurant was clean and relaxing before heading to the park. Service was friendly and fast. Thanks!

Nice staff and the food is what you would expect. The milk shakes get it done! I enjoyed the music and the atmosphere.

I had not been to a Johnny Rockets in years, and on a recent trip to Atlanta with my daughter I was so excited to see one and take her there! It was just as I remembered, great burgers, fries and shakes. This particular location is a bit small considering the location, and so it maintained a pretty good crowd, as well as many people ordering take out, but we still got seated pretty quickly and enjoyed the service and food. Would go back again when visiting Atlanta.

GREAT FOOD..... Big burgers, tasty fries, and super cheese fries GREAT. SERVICE. .... All around a fun experience. Nostalgia of the 50's

Took along time to get our food. The person running the group was the only one really working. Maybe if the shift manager would spend time helping, instead of flirting and gossiping the food would have been made faster

We stopped here for a late lunch after touring CNN and Coke. Nice friendly atmosphere....decorated retro....red and white tile....our waitress had a great personality and made terrific suggestions even offered to bring me a KIDS size Twix shake totry and brought 2 spoons so husband could also share. This is a very family friendly (and noisy) place...can't help be happy and smile while here.....very good food, quick service. extremely friendly staff. I'd definitely come here again.

Family enjoyed the visit to this restaurant. We had a nice wait staff person, very friendly. We received our main entree without our sides of fries and onion rings. When they finally arrived after eating our hamburgers the waitress apologized as she said she had to make the fries and onion rings herself. It was a busy time of the year during the 2018 Atlanta cheerleading competition. At least 3 Johnny Rocket staff members identifiable by their Johnny Rocket hats were sitting themselves eating with their families at booths while we were eating. Maybe this lead to the under staffing issue.

Ample portion sizes, fresh food and good french fries. How can you go wrong? The eating area is a bit small for the demand, crowds wait outside the doors waiting for a table/seat. Get there a bit early to avoid the wait. The staff was pleasant and food was prepared quickly and accurately. Remember to bring your nickles for the jukebox...

A fun place. Thought we were teenagers in the 50's again.(we're in our 70's) Food was excellent. Make the best malts, the old fashion way. Very good, friendly staff. Gave us a nickel for the juke box on our table. Service super and fast.

We loved the old music and the staff was very friendly. The food arrived quickly and tasted delicious.

We tried here today as a pit stop whilst we were shopping. The menu was decently priced and the food was very tasty. We had a range of food from chicken bacon and cheese melts to burgers, hot dogs and a range of fries. The food was very tasty but quite salty. The milkshakes were very good. If i was shopping and came accross this restaurant again i would deffinitely go back.

Although it was very busy, two games in town and New Year's Eve, we were served promptly and our orders were correct. No complaints here.

Johnny Rockets is always a great place for a quick easy lunch. Great burgers and milkshakes. Grilled cheese is awesome too.

When most of the other eateries in the area close at 9:00, this place was still open and took advantage of others who missed serving the later crowds. They did a nice job with service and the food was pretty good. It was a bit expensive for what they sell, but location often does that to restaurants, even chain restaurants. No complaints. Atlanta has many great places that we sampled and this didn't tickle us as others, but it provides all with a good meal in a nice atmosphere at what Atlanta considers an awkward time to eat (9:30 pm). Atlanta has many great places to eat and drink. This one may not be a real hit, but it wasn't a miss either.

As travelers from South Africa we were looking for an authentic American diner experience and this was it! We enjoyed this thoroughly - we both had burgers, cheesy fries and shakes. I'm vegetarian and you can have any burger on their menu as a veggie option which is great. Was a fun way to end off our day that we'd spent at the World of Coca Cola. Recommended: the strawberry cookie milkshake was the best! They even bring you the extra shake that didn't fit in the glass in the tin cup that they mixed it in, so you get a LOT of it. Tip: Ask them to seat you at a booth, as then you get to choose a old school song from the juke box and it will play over the speakers! Feels like you are transported back in time.

We took a break from the Children's Museum of Atlanta for lunch. We were seated right away, had a very attentive server as well. Molly ordered the grilled cheese kids meal with fries and a strawberry milkshake which she said all were yummy! I ordered the classic burger with fries and a root beer, mine was very tasty as well. Everything was cooked well and tasted great.

Its been awhile i haven't visited this place and i must say it was delicious. I came to Atlanta for a business meeting, And walked over this place for a quick bite.

So cool service and so delicious food. Short waiting time. Very cozy ambience. Food is warm and the refill is standard..

We enjoyed our first visit! As you sit down, waitress gives you a nickel to place in the jukebox at you table to pick a song to play in the restaurant. We experienced amazing service and received our meal so quick. It was tasty and even tastier as we added a chocolate shake as a dessert. Much with the time and experience with delightful food!!

After a day of visiting the sites in Atlanta, we came upon this place just before our visit to the GA Aquarium. There were a number of people waiting and thought maybe it was because this place was so good. We were wrong!! Our party of 3 was seated after about 25 mins which was not an issue since we were told that there was a 25min wait. Once we were seated we waited another 10-15 minutes before a waiter came to our table and that was after being prompted to do so because we asked whether anyone would be serving us. In the meantime many other guests had been seated and their waitress had taken their order. We are not talking gourmet dining, it is burgers, fries, milkshakes. After our waiter Eddie reluctantly came to the table he took our order with no apology for the wait, and no personality what so ever. After a fairly long wait, he eventually brought out just fries since we had been waiting so long, which we had eaten prior to receiving our other food. FOOD was just ok. We received our order after another 30-45 minutes and again after we had to ask the General Manager where our food was, which she did not go to check on until after she finish clearing the tables and seating other guests. We received the rest of our food without an apology just an excuse that other orders has been received before ours, however we could see several other guests who were seated several minutes after us who were receiving their orders several minutes before us. Service was HORRIBLE with our particular waiter. It appeared that there was one waitress who cared about her customers and tried to get their orders out quickly. She seemed awesome, wish we had gotten her as our waitress, probably would have gotten out much quicker and much happier. Our waiter and the manager of this place did not seem to care about customer service or our business. We would not return to this place, the food is not good enough to wait as long as we did for the poor service we received.

The whole family enjoyed lunch here while visiting the World of Coke and Georgia Aquarium. We were traveling with four children (including two in high chairs) and the staff were awesome. Food was good and had plenty of classic burger joint options to please everyone in our group. Good prices and cool 50s style environment, too. Will visit again next time we're in the area.

Enjoyed ourselves and loved the proper American milkshakes! Burgers were great and service prompt & courteous

Food was hot and good. Service lacked attention to detail, but it was an overall good experience, and you can't beat the shakes! Right across the street from the Aquarium.

Surprising, had one of the best burgers I've had in a long time. Skipped breakfast as our hotel didn't have and didn't want to waste time. By lunch, we were all pretty hungry. Not much to choose from when it's pouring rain, so we ducked into the Johnny Rockets close to the Coca Cola Center/Georgia Acquirium. We waited about 10 minutes for a table and opted to sit at the counter as that cleared first. Selection was All American, sandwiches and chili. We all ordered cheese burgers of some type, fries or onion rings. Really tasty burger as well as fries and onion rings. The servers behind the counter and on the grill very friendly. Good food, good service and good deal!!

Incredibly slow service. Drinks were never re-filled. Food was OK, but not as good as it should have been for the price paid. Shakes were pretty good.

It is very convenience as it is just located in front of the Aquarium, simply food, great hamburgers and of course well know for their shakes!

Stopped in. Had 3 burgers and tuna melt. Fast, friendly and good service. Shakes, lemonade and coffee were good

A Fast Food place to visit, excellent Shakes, Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, etc. Theme from the 50th. Waitress dressed up in the old fashion way, they also sing at the table to Celebrate patrons Birthday. Once in a while they dance too, making this a fun place to visit. Tables are design with a Music Box on each table, where for a coin or two, you can select and play your favorite tune of the 50, 60, 70th years.

We went to Johnny Rockets while waiting to get into the aquarium. The place was quite dirty, food was ok, not great. Wait staff was slow and not very responsive. Overall barely ok, not great. Would not go again.

We were grateful to find this after a full day at the aquarium. Staff was helpful to accommodate a large party. Great food, reasonable prices, great service.

Food is very average. Music is loud. Service wasn’t great. Convenient location in relation to World of Coke and Aquarium.

We ate here after visiting the aquarium. The location is pretty good and walking distance to where we were staying. The service was great but the food not spectacular. The fries and sandwich were cold and the shake was delicious. The cold food didn't bother me too much since I have an 8 month old and all of my meals are cold (ha ha).

Ate here for lunch between visiting the aquarium and Coca Cola world. My friends had never been before and as it was local and relatively cheap, it did the job. I had the rocket original, onion rings and Oreo cookie and cream milkshake ($16). The milkshake was absolutely gorgeous, with a lot of Oreo cookies broken up into little pieces. The burger came with burger sauce and a brioche bun, it was really tasty, whilst the bun was soft with a little give. Onion rings were lovely and crisp! Friends had smokehouse double and the bacon burger, no complaints and a lot of clear plates. Service was fast and attentive whilst not being over bearing. Would definitely come again.

Food was mediocre at best. Shakes were ok. Service was good. It was good for a been there done that but probably wouldn’t go back. It has a retro diner theme that is cute.

Food was as expected, nothing special. The place was so overcrowded to meet Covid requirements. Noise was off the charts loud. Couldn’t talk with family members nor the waitress. My expectations were too high. But the again it’s just a Jonny Rockets.

There was a short wait but well worth it! Great food, shakes and server named Jasmine was helpful and attentive!

Food was great, just need to clean. We didn’t have to wait too long and server was attentive. Would go back

We are used to good home grown beef and these burgers were the real deal. Teen with us commented on how good the flavor of hers was. My hubby who can be stingy with compliments said his was best burger he had had in a long time!Service was very quick. Good milkshakes. If you’re visiting the aquarium worth a try.

The food was excellent! They gave you a lot of fries and the burger was a decent size. It was a great value and right by the aquarium/World of Coca-Cola/Centennial Park.

The milkshakes were great! I had Vanilla, my son had Strawberry and they both were exceptionally good! My burger was good but nothing really special. Great value food right across the street from the Georgia Aquarium.

Atmosphere was awesome, food was very delicious and the shakes were amazing. I do recommend this place.

We have always enjoyed eating at Johnny Rockets. The service was very good and our server Tiffany was super nice! I had their Rocket single with cheese and fries. My wife had the same meal without cheese. Our youngest daughter had the kids grilled cheese with fires and our oldest daughter had the kids chicken tenders. They do something that was very cute. For our daughters meals they put smiley faces on a plate made of ketchup. That was a cute and nice touch!

Last time was in San Jose and the staff was too busy chatting with their girls - this time the service was fast and good. Food is what it is - a burger joint but the do it well with large portions of fries and excellent shakes/

Can't say enough good things about this place. Good burger , onion rings and Elvis shake. Cleanliness was key which gave it a real 50s feel. Would def visit again if back in ATL.

Server was fantastic (Shanay)! Attentive and personable, she really made us feel welcome. Kids's sliders were good, wife's chicken sandwich (GF) was good, but messy, and my chicken club was very good. We all had shakes as a treat and they were very good, too!

Right near the TriCentennial Square Johnny Rockets provides a reasonable way station for the huungry after visiting the Aquarium, Coke Museum or Civil Right Museum. Service is fast, staff is friendly and prices are reasonable. We warned tho the place can get really noisy as it was designed with hard surfaces everywhere, you can literally hear people speak three booths away. Food is good but nothing exceptional. Restroom was clean. Would I go again? Maybe!

We ate lunch here during Spring Break. It was busy, but the wait was not long. They have excellent milkshakes! The burgers were great. I ordered onion rings instead of fries and the were good. The meal was around $50-60 for two adults and 3 children. We parked in the lot next door and it was $10.

Just another Burger Joint. Nothing to write home about. I think Five Guys makes a much better burger.

Atmosphere was fun! It was my daughter's first time eating there and she enjoyed the 50's look, the mini juke box on each table and the music was good too. We only ordered chicken/fries, my daughter found it was a little too done for her, but I absolutely loved it!

After being told our hotel room wasn't ready we needed a place to eat and fast. I found this restaurant on Googlemaps and went with my family. The service is great. We were helped quickly and the staff is very friendly. Though they got our order wrong it was fixed quickly without hassle. We got our food faster than going through the drive through window at McDonald's. From personal experience diner food is hit or miss. This is a definite hit. I had the Philly cheese steak, bacon cheese fries and some chicken tenders (my wife couldn't finish hers, I helped myself). It's obvious the chicken tenders are fresh, not frozen. The batter is tasty. The cheese steak sandwich was savory (personal opinion could use a bit more cheese). Definitely coming here again.

Food was fantastic and so was staff! Best hamburger ever. They also have dairy free milkshakes, which is nice for anybody with a dairy allergy.

5 adults and 2 children ate a nice dinner for about $US76. This included four garden chicken salads, a rye sandwich, two children’s meals and a couple of drinks. The peanut butter chocolate milkshake, though extremely sweet, was worth the taste shared between us all! The atmosphere was lively, happy, the service was great, staff friendly and all in all, it was enjoyable. We were able to sit on the bar stools and watch the food being prepared and served and feel almost back in the 50’s.

My family and I ate at Johnny Rockets recently after visiting the Georgia Aquarium. It is located right across the street. Johnny Rockets is sort of an old fashioned burger joint with fries, onion rings and milk shakes to go along with a really good burger. Although it was very busy service was plenty quick. Our server was efficient and though she wasn't overly friendly she was friendly enough. All the food was delivered quickly and was fresh and hot. We tried several different burgers between us as well as fries and onion rings. Everyone was very happy with their order. The only exception was the cheese fries. My daughter and her boyfriend are cheese fries fanatics and order them anywhere they are available. These were just not great. The problem seemed to be the very thick and not all that hot or tasty cheese sauce. I didn't go to the bathroom but the girls in our party said the women's room was not terribly clean. I give the staff the benefit of the doubt on this because we were there at a very busy time and it is entirely possible that the mess was recent and they just had not had the opportunity to get someone free to check and clean the facility. Otherwise the restaurant seemed plenty clean and had a great atmosphere. We enjoyed our visit and will visit again if in the vicinity. Definitely would recommend.

We had a long wait and that staff did not appear to be hustling. And the music was so loud we couldn't have good conversation. The milkshake was good though.

This place is always packed. Service is slow. The food is typical Johnny Rockets. Stick with the basic hamburgers and fries.

We walked here from the aquarium. I love Johnny Rockets, and this one had exceptional service. The food was great too. I would definitely return.

Very reasonably priced, very good service, next to the aquarium, great old time ambiance. Very efficient. Look forward to coming back again next year!

Being that it was a small building our group of six had to wait a while to be seated & then we were seated separately. Once we were seated the waitress was very kind and our food came very quickly.

I took my mom here when she was visiting town and we enjoyed it! Typical 50s style diner with good food and friendly service. Each table has it's own jukebox and songs are 5 cents each!

I have been to a Johnny Rockets (Destin, FL) many times. As soon as we walked in, our server came over and gave my 8 y/o grandson and I a nickle to play the juke box. (even though the songs play randomly without the juke box my grandson thought that was pretty awesome). He ordered a chocolate shake and french fries. I ordered a bacon cheeseburger, onion rings, and coffee. Our food was delivered quickly. It was late evening and they were half full of customers with more coming in. The restaurant was clean and the fixtures were working properly. If you appreciate the burger joints of the 50's and 60's, then you will fall in love with Johnny Rockets.

Great place to eat but closes to early to be near the main attractions and a few hotels. Thought they would be open past 8pm. The food was great and hot.

We decided to have lunch at Johnny Rockets. The place has a 50s diner theme and is a burger and fries joint. The food was good, service was excellent however, I will say this--a couple of burgers, 3 waters and a hot dog with an order of fries ended up costing us almost $30 at this place. I really liked the decor though. They had little jukeboxes on each table and the waitress would leave a nickle for you to put in it. The selection would play over the sound system in the restaurant but it was so loud in there, you couldn't hear the music. I really wish I could give the place a higher rating but I felt that it was overpriced for the small quantity of food served and it was loud.

We have visited a couple of other Johnny Rockets in the US and generally like the burgers combinations and the milkshakes in particular, but why is the meat always really dry? Otherwise this Johhny rocket had great service when we visited. The restrooms could use a clean up once in a while. Would revisit if in the neighbourhood.

Had a quick bite there after we'd been to the aquarium. To us "aussies" this was a typical diner we'd see of tv, so was happy to give it a try, glad we did. Service and food great. Their Milkshakes are to die for. Would definately go back and have no hesitations in recommending. They are even happy if you want to split the bit (even though we didn't seen other tables that did).

This place is good but not what I expected, the food was a little bit salty and the service wasn't good at all, I liked the atmosphere and the burgers are good.

My family and I had just been evacuated from Orlando due to Hurricane Irma's approach. (Two grandparents, a mom, a three year old, and an infant.) We drove through the night, and the six hour drive from Orlando to Atlanta took thirteen hours, so we were very tired, and hungry. We got to Johnny Rocket's and the waitress took our name and told us we'd be seated shortly. After waiting twenty minutes and seeing another family seated even though they'd arrived after us, we went to the register. The waitress told us she'd seat us shortly. But then a manager showed up and told us we'd have to wait until several other families were seated because we didn't have a beeper. The waitress confirmed to him that we were there before the others and that she hadn't given us a beeper, but this manager was adamant that we had to take a beeper and wait, probably another twenty minutes. I tried to reason with him, but my daughter said, let's go. She had been looking around during our long wait and thought the place looked kind of grungy and chaotic anyway. We ended up at the Baja Fresh around the corner, which was very pleasant, and the manager bent over backwards to help with the kids.

This restaurant is very close to the Georgia Aquarium. It's a standard 50's style hamburger joint. We sat at the counter which was fun, but they were very busy even at 2:00 in the afternoon so service was slow. The food was okay, but the shakes were large and yummy.

It's just like going back into the 1950s with it's interior (chairs, jukeboxes etc.). You can watch them cooking your handmade burgers. It has a very pleasant service. A good place to enjoy. Something very special beside the big fast food companies.

My 10 yr old son and I went in for dinner on a Saturday. There were only a few tables taken with people, but there were several that were sitting with dirty dishes. The guy who sat us was very nice and our server was SUPER friendly. We ordered 1 Coke, 1 shake, 1 burger, 2 fries, and 1 chicken strips. There were several employees in the kitchen area, which is in the middle of the restaurant with no walls to block our view, but it took forever to get our food. We got our fries when we got the shake; however, the burger and chicken too so much longer we were almost out of fries by the time they arrived at the table. The entire floor was very slippery. I can only speculate that perhaps they are using the same mop to clean the dining room that they are using in the kitchen to mop up grease. We could not walk to or from our table, and had to scoot our feet the entire way in and out.

Have eaten at another Johnny Rockets, so was glad to see this on. Like the atmosphere. Good burgers and hot dogs.

First, everyone was nice. I never saw a single person just standing around. Our server, Ariana, was nice. Having said that, it took 15 minutes for someone to ask us what we wanted to drink. It took forever to get the food. The onion rings and fries were not hot when we got them and the rings had an odd taste to them. This location seemed understaffed for the volume of business and super small (it was cramped - especially with 2 wheelchair customers there) considering it's location right next to 4 prime tourist attractions. The food was okay but given that we were there for 90 minutes and it was just 2 of us to order that length of time to be there just to get lunch seemed unreasonable and took time away from our experience at the aquarium. We had a much better experience in Seattle (Tukwila) at South Center Mall. Perhaps this Atlanta location can gain more space and hire more staff and then be better able to provide the service in a timely manner so the food is still hot. I think the staff were doing the best they can with the resources they have. Higher up management needs to come in and take better care of its staff and its customers.

Food was pretty good. Burgers, fries, shake. The onion rings were very good and the burgers were kinda like the old days (50’s- 60’s). Good burgers for a day at the aquarium.

If you like rare or medium rare burgers, be prepared to be disappointed big time. They DO NOT serve any burgers that are rare or medium rare even when requested!! Funny, I thought that since I am paying for the burger that I can have it prepared any way that I LIKE??? NOT HERE, you are TOLD how they WANT to serve you your burger... I asked why and all I was told was it is policy!! What a Joke!!! So if you like your burgers cooked until they look and taste like a hockey puck this is the place for you.. all others please avoid being disappointed.. Also try not to go to the bathroom if you decide to eat here you might have difficulty get out of the bathroom, my shoes stuck to the floor with every step I took inside the men's bathroom..

Always a great stop when visiting the Georgia Aquarium or other nearby spots. Clean, friendly staff, cooked to order food. Can be very busy at times.

My family and I were there today, the server was not nice at all, the lady did not even mention her name, took our order and bring me a "coke zero" totally unflavored and almost water colored, then she spilled another coke over my dad and my son (she did it no purpose? Not sure but looked like yes) while almost throwing at us all of our plates, not even an apology for having them all wet, just dry the table and left, the burgers were cold, she took our empty plates and did not offer boxes, just throw the check on the table and left, of course I'm not expecting hugs and kisses but at least a better attitude, the receipt says her name is So Journer, I don't even know if that's her real name, of course my tip was a big zero, I noticed that her attitude was way better to other guests, my recommendation is that she doesn't like Hispanic people she need to look for another job.

Usual menu so food is good but small space with large crowd means very noisy. Sometimes a wait but not too long.

We took our son, who is on the spectrum, to Johhny Rockets for his birthday at his request. We arrived at 8pm on a Thursday, unaware the restaurant closed at 8:30 instead of 9pm (an oversight on our part). The server (a young man with a blonde braid and a shredded shirt) was clearly annoyed and made sure we knew that. I would have left but our ASD son really wanted a milkshake and fries for his birthday. The entire time we were there, the server was nice/nasty to us, but especially cold to my son, the birthday boy. The next day we called spoke with the owner, and after speaking to him, it became apparent to us the server felt comfortable behaving in that manner because the owner didn't seem to have a problem with it. No empathy or compassion for a child with special needs on his birthday. Despicable.

One of our favorite lunch spots in Atlanta, when in the downtown area. Great servers and delicious food!

Our group of 17 students and teachers stopped in after our trip to the Georgia Aquarium. We only had to wait 20 minutes for our tables. The staff was friendly and were served quickly. I had my first sweet potato fries and they were great. We will visit again.

The food is good and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is very noisy, but fun. It's great for a time-crunch, and right next to the aquarium

Tasty American Good with Nostalgic 50' n 60's Decor and Music. My children loved it back as kids on visits to the Georgia Aquarium across the street. One of my daughters went back with me today, years lateral age 25. She was grinning from war to ear. Her BBQ Burger was delicious as were the Cheddar and Chili fries. Our waitress Adriana was a super server with a warm smile and great attitude.

Throw back to the 50's diner. My hub ordered his favourite, Egg Salad sandwich, which he really enjoyed. I ordered a Tuna Melt and this was toasted on a griddle. Although tasty, there was definitely a rancid flavor....wouldn't order this again. Sorry.

family of three ate there for lunch. ordered chicken tenders and burgers, all were fabulous! also ordered shakes which were very good....great place for lunch or dinner. family friendly atmosphere and great service. wait staff was friendly and attentive. each table has a small jukebox and a nickel so that each customer group can select and play a song. note that the restaurant can get very crowded so suggest that you get there early.

This is the first restaurant we saw after we checked-in our hotel. This is right across the Aquarium. It is like any typical Johnny Rockets restaurant. Our server was great and food was good as always. They do close a bit early thought.

When visiting America, my wife and I always look for as close to an authentic 50’s diner that we can find. Having been born in the 80’s our references aren’t exactly genuine to begin with, so we can only go of what we hope to experience. Johnny Rockets had the name, for the most part it had the look but it just fell short in feel and food. It wasn’t bad, wasn’t great…was hardly worth a review. But it broke up a good day without ruining it, so shouldn’t be avoided.

Located adjacent to the GA Aquarium Nd World of Coke, this was an excellent choice for lunch. While it appears a standard burger place, we were pleased to find d both healthier Turkey burger and vegetarian black bean burgers on the menu. The staff is attentive and helpful, even finding a corner table to allow a stroller nap to continue. Food is good and plentiful.

This was a welcomed respite after a debacle of an afternoon at the aquarium. We were lucky to get seated quickly. Our server, Juan, was just great. Our food came quickly and was very good. The kids enjoyed their shakes and we all chilled.

Service was a bit slow, food was average. Restaurant was clean. Located near the Aquarium and Coca Cola so it was convenient.

Had lunch here with family after visiting the aquarium. Delicious banana milkshake. Great bacon cheeseburger. Would definitely return!

My husband and we two teenage sons ate here. I could tell that they were understaffed. The staff was working really hard though so it was worth the wait. The food was good and neat diner atmosphere. It was right by the aquarium. The shakes and burgers are awesome.

We stopped here to eat in between the aquarium & The world of Coca Cola. The food was good and so was the service. Best tater tots ever! I was thankful they served grilled chicken strips because my daughter doesn't like fried food.

After enjoying a day at the Aquarium, we walked across the street for a burger, fries, and malt at Johnny Rockets. It was nicely busy with a good atmosphere. Food was perfect!

It is really a nice fast food restaurant. Good taste : Awesome Service : Super Ambiance: too good Add on: could listen to the songs which we like.. Awesome experince

Stopped in for lunch before heading to the aquarium. Had a short wait but was seated within 10 minutes. The booths each have their own small juke box and the waitress will give you coins so that you can play your favorite oldies while you wait. Service was quick and our food arrived hot. Many different things to choose from. My daughter and I had burgers & fries, our friends had chicken. Everyone finished their food and the kids ordered shakes after. The shakes are huge, enough to share! Great place to stop and within walking distance from many of the tourist spots.

It was good the service was ok my burger was decent and my wife liked the french fries, this is the first time we visited atlanta and after a long day we stoped here i would come back if i had too

We came here after visiting the Georgia aquarium. It's is right across the street. Wasn't busy at all. We hand food in less than 20 mins after ordering. The food was really good and we enjoyed our evening.

Our waitress was great. She was super friendly and helpful! The food was good and was delivered quickly! The only downside was the restaurant didn’t seem very clean. We cleaned our own table. I was pleasantly surprised that the rest of our experience was great!

Johnny Rockets is the burger joint I remember so well. The venue, menu, juke boxes, food and service is as I remembered it so long ago. So good I will do it again.

Typical of other locations of this chain but good choice. Clean, fast service, always good food. Staff were very nice and attentive.
Great burgers
Our family ate here after the aquarium, the food was good and so was the shakes well worth the money. Old fashion setting restaurant and the staff was friendly too.
