Great burgers, great service, great music during lunch time. Confortable seats, happy decoration with balloons. My experience with The original Burger and the Bacon Cheddar Burger was excelent! Fair price and the french fries here are that fresh and tasty. It is no concern of the restaurant but get a outsidr table you may have a noisy meal. I highly recomend this place.

I though the cost was a bit high for what is a burger restaurant but this was table service with a smile and many dishes to choose from. I would go back.

Had a good visit, good hamburger, prompt service. Not too crowded so food arrived quickly. Milk shake seemed less generous than before! Plus too much cream on top.....

Johnny Rockets at Dolphin Mall in Miami is a cool Johnny Rockets that is well managed and offers delicious burgers, fries, and shakes. I like that you can eat indoors or outdoors and that there is plenty of room available in the space. The staff here is attentive and works hard to make sure that you have a good meal. I enjoy coming in here for a fun meal experience.

Every time my husband and I come back from a trip, we like to sit down and rate the places we visit. But with this place I need to do a little more of that. I will like to let these amazing workers know that they are doing a GREAT JOB! It makes me feel good seeing people that really want to work. Everyone knew what they were doing, and everything was organized. I loved that my waitress Maria was always attentive. I never ran out of soda!!! I will defenitly reccomend this place!

Although I was not very hungry I concentrated on an original Johnny Rockets hamburger. And the choice was right. Not much nor less. Just enough to erease all the signs of hunger.

Why I decided to eat here I just don’t know why, I should have realised when there was hardly anybody eating there and the next door restaurant was 3/4 full and all the other restaurant and bars were busy. I waited by the door to see we’re to sit 4 servers just looked at me and not one talked to me. I was about to leave when I finally was able to ask a waiter were I could sit, I should have just walked away then but did not. The servers told me that they had no menus you had to use the bar code to get the the menu, my phone had no data roaming so difficult to order food eventually ordered burgers and to be honest it was the worse burger I’ve ever had I the Got bill and was amused.by the served that he had automatically put his tip on the bill I think that was about the most progressive thing he done all the service Hence won’t be back and strongly recommend other fo the same

You can tell a burger is good when the "burger juice" runs down your arm! I love going to JR when I'm in Miami - the one at Dolphin Mall is especially good, I don't know why. I had the Route 66 this time around with chipotle ranch instead of mayo and it was delicious! We sat at the bar and watched the guys make our burgers fresh. These guys move like a well-oiled machine. If you love a good burger, this is a must.

Food is good but birds flying around not so much. As I was eating, I was pooped on, as was my purse!! Gross!!!! The birds were just hovering waiting for food to arrive. Service was good though. We would have eaten inside but no tables were free.

We have been to a lot of Johnny Rockets and always enjoy them but this one was a disappointment.First off,It was not busy and it took a long time for the server to come over and take our order.We were a party of 4 and we were only having hamburgers and milkshakes.It took 45 minutes just to get the hamburgers,No fries remind you.The clincher was when we got our milkshakes,They were only filled half way.I called for the manager and it took him another 20 minutes to come to our table.He said that they must have made them wrong and will bring out the rest of the shakes.No apology or anything. I would not recommend this particular location

We went there while shopping at the Dolphin Mall. We had a hot dog, chili nachos and a tuna melt. Nobody complained about the food but we had a very long wait (maybe 45 minutes) and everybody who came after us got their food before us. And even worse, they automatically added a 15% tip!

Had a horrible time at Sunset place where we simply left, and went to buffalo wild wings. My wife convinced me to go to this Johnny Rockets while shopping this weekend, and it was one of the best experiences I have ever had. I have been in the restaurant industry for 15 years, and they blew us away. Alexander was fresh out of training, and had the best smile and sense of urgency I have seen in a place like this. He was OUTSTANDING! The manager Chad, was equally as impressive. This is a well run, and enhoyable place to be. THEY EVEN STILL DANCE HERE!!! :) This set the tone for an amazing day of shopping and fun. Thanks Alex!!

I love to try burgers around the world. This one didn't impress. The meat patty was crumbled. Nuff said. Place was pretty untidy. Almost could get a clean table. Didn't get a vote to return.

After a good shopping in the Mall, we had a delicious burger in JOhny Rocket. The food was very good quality and fresh, the service we got was excellent.

Stopped for a bite and Johnny Rockets at the Dolphin. Mall. I had heard a lot about the restaurant before, but this was my first time there. The serve the greatest hamburgers ever: prime beef and all the trimmings.

We had a wonderful time in the big booth back at the corner. Our server was wonderful and everything came out quickly.

Stopped off mid shop as we were starving, wish we’d of waited in line at Burger King now....sat down as you just sit anywhere your not shown to a table!! Our server brought us a menu and then came back and took our order, he was pleasant enough and we had a bit of a laugh with him, we got our thick shakes which I thought were quite good but my hubby being a bit of a thick shake guru wasn’t impressed!! Then it all went downhill....the fries which we were sharing were brought out 10 mins before our burgers I like to eat my burger and fries together so never ate them but my husband said they were horrible and then the burgers were brought out...Well what can I say!! I was taken back that it came wrapped up on a plate at $40 for both with drinks, I was expecting a lot more, I never got salad, peppers or mayo which I’d asked for and the chicken was very dry....very disappointed. Then to top off our visit I used the toilets, which were disgusting 1 member of staff was throwing up in one toilet and the other toilet which another member of staff came out of had toilet paper and either water or urine all over the floor and there was no where to dry your hands, i’m now thinking hope the kitchen staff who are preparing and making our food have better toilet/hand washing facilities than the public!!

It was very busy but were out in less that 45 minutes.Food service and quality was good.had we stayed at Cheesecake Factory we would still been trying to order by the time we got to finish at this place.

This is a classic 1950s dinner. The company over all is excellent. I have eaten at this chain in Utah (where it was the best), Dolphin Mall, and Sunrise (second best). This place was good with very friendly staff but, lately I had to do something that I had not had to do...send the burger back. One time it came out with bun broken another where it looked like it was thrown together. Not the place I am use to. I want to say that those where hopefully the one in a 1,000.

My kids love the place the food was great, the milk shack was very good. No issues should go and just enjoy.

The waiter was awesome. My son loved his bacon burger (he said it was the best one he had ever eaten in all of his life) and Hershey's chocolate milk shake. The price is reasonable. The restaurant is comfortable. The Wi-Fi connection is great.

Food is always good and why I go to JR. However, I just can't go back to this one. While the service was at least somewhat friendly, it was slow and the niceness was forced. It took forever to get our order. Can't recommend this location

Love Johnny Rockets normally - we always visit when on a RCI cruise and enjoy the atmosphere and food/drink. In fact we’d visited the Johnny Rockets at Sawgrass Mills four days previously and had a thoroughly wonderful experience. The young girl who served us was sullen from the outset. We ordered our food and drinks and she quickly mumbled back what we’d ordered. Off she went. She came back with my husband’s drink and an incorrect one for me. I said I never ordered that and was informed that yes I had ordered it. I said to her I’d ordered a strawberry milkshake. She stropped off and brought my drink back - photo below. She then brought the delicious onion rings with sour cream dip - again we’d been served with quite a lot more at the other venue a few days before and others seemed to be served with more than us. The rest of a our food came and we got tucked in. I had a burger which was nice and my husband had a Philly cheese steak which he said was very tasty. As we were eating along came our waitress with a large glass of cold water and placed it in front of my husband and said “your water”. We hadn’t requested any. Maria please speak up and slower. You know what you’re saying but we don’t. Perhaps a smile to customers would be lovely after all you were looking for a tip. I will still recommend a visit to any Johnny Rockets because you won’t be disappointed and perhaps the sullen Maria J was having an off day?

this was the first time in a jhonny rocker in this mall! the food was perfect and the service was excellent as well!!! very fast clean and good price if I come back in this mall of course i can t not to go in the excellent location

At Miami Lakes in Main Street we have this excellent place to remember the 70's and 80's. Good music, the employees dance and are very nice. The kids also enjoyed.

It's a good place for a bite especially when at a mall and you're not in the mood for the food court but don't want to go to a formal restaurant. The staff was super friendly and attentive to our 5 year old even making a smiley face with the ketchup.

I liked that the burgers were made fresh and that the atmosphere is fun for families. The burgers are tasty and made to order. The fries are okay. It is a fun and easy place to go with a family.

Cool little place but the food is not great and totally overpriced! I can make a better grilled cheese sandwich or hot dog at my home and not pay $10 for it.

I ordered only onion rings because they looked so good on another person's plate. The cashier did not try to sell me anything else; he simply said that I made a perfect choice because the onion rings were the ideal blend of fat and taste. I could not agree more. Johnny's has iconic American food for those Miami visitors who were hoping to get a taste of America.

We have been to other johnny rockets but we didn't like this one at all. The girl serving was pleasant but other male staff members had disgusting dirty tshirts and trousers on giving out food. There were flies everywhere. We didn't like it.

While walking through the mall we saw Johnny Rockets. We decided to go in for lunch. Although the food was good, the service was not. Instead of having service with a smile, we got service with a snarl.

Dolphin mall's Johnny Rockets is outside mall so you can enter even mall is closed. The service wasn't the fastest in the world, so we waited for quite some time. Food was ok, nothing special there, not to cheap also. The negative thing was loud music or I'd called it noise. Across was bar called 'Brew Ville' and the played quite loud music, and Johnny Rockets played their own music and also loud, so together it sounded as annoying noise.

We have been promptly served, and the food arrived quickly. But when we decided to leave.... around 20-30 minutes to be able to get the bill and pay. Really unpleasant. Food was good.

We went here as our flight was delayed so we went shopping- makes you hungry so we pulled over for some shakes and a burger

I restaurant that called my attention since the first time...love at first sight. I really like the burgers but also the classic-old style is their premises, the enthusiasm of people working there, the well cared details and the classic rock and roll era look. The touch and feel is like traveling back in time. Onion rings, a perfectly cooked burger and an old style shake always make my day at Johnny Rockets. They used to let you choose the music from small jukebox rock-olas; I missed it was not available any more, at least in Miami.

We ate in the restaurant twice. Original and Rocket (with bacon) hamburgers were the best hamburgers in Florida. Also the chicken salad was great. Service was also nice. I can warmly recommend the restaurant.

Service great, burger terrific (if a bit greasy) fries good, but not as good as I remember, special Oreo shake unbelievably wonderful. My wife's chicken salad was excellent.

As a foreigner I was so happy to eat here and try their famous burgers.. I was really disappointed, the fries with cheese were fine (no salt whatsoever), the burger was average and the prices really high, since you have to order everything separately it becomes a huge bill in the end.. :/ guess it's also because it's located in one of the most touristic malls? :/ The waiter who served my mom and I looked tired and cranky...

On Memorial Day my family and I were shopping at Dolphin Mall and our daugthers decided to eat burgers at Johhny Rocket's. The restaurant was full but the service was good, our waitress Ashley was very professional in her approach to us and explaining the menu options.The food quality was ok but I truly believe that could be better. For example, our orders of fries and onion rings were cold and not crispy for not reason (kitchen is less than 5 feet away from tables), my salad was not well presented, the burgers buns were not hot or tosted, etc. Knowing the restaurant business I know that with more management effort and food quality control they can correct those problems to keep JR standards very high and at the same way gain more satisfied customers.

I love the furniture, the attendance, the food, everything was perfect. It's very good to go with families or friends. the hamburgers are the ones that you must eat in there.

That place take you back on the 50'. And above all, the best burger I ever eat!. Fast service, friendly staff.

The waiters look like they are tired of everything they do. The food is not the same size as in the menu. It is super expensive. They take too long.

I had the Miami burger and it tasted very good. I also got a side of onion rings that were tough to chew and made my jaw hurt. I would not advise you to get onion rings! I finished my meal with a vanilla milkshake that was awesome but pricey. The guy serving us did a phenomenal job.

My girlfriend and I have eaten there a couple of times (At Dolphin Mall), the Restaurant is attended by kids so don't expect a prompt service... Shakes are very good but the rest of the food is not too good, greasy, poorly made, hamburgers were not cooked enough... I won't recommend this place even to my enemies!

We arrived tired from a trip to Miami and upon entering the Dolphin Mall we found this Jhonny Rockets store. I love this restaurant because it offers veggie burgers. The service was super fast and friendly. The crispy fries are a vice! Good option to eat quickly when you are very hungry.

Visited a LOT Of Rockets and this is one Of The best! Nice staff, good service and clean! Just outside The entrance Of The dolphin mall so a LOT is going on! Great milkshakes and love their route 66 Burger!

So disappointed with this place. It was our first time to any JR and we won't go back to any of them. We walked in and sat down and nobody even looked at us for over 10 minutes. There was plenty of staff all around not busy but we apparently were invisible. So just as we came in we left. There are so many choices in this mall and undoubtedly everyone goes somewhere else. Management, if you are paying attention do something about this.

I have been to this location many times as my nephews and nieces love milk shakes. The service is what makes this place suck. The food is mediocre at its best and it's expensive for what it is.

I am a big fan of burgers and fries, and Johnny Rockets was once a place I used to go very often. Nowadays the food at JR is bellow the average, and the service is also bad. The floor is always dirt and greased, and the staff seems not to care. I rather drive a few more miles in order to get better food some place else, even it is just for a burger...

I LIKE THEIR PRODUCTS, THEY ARE VERY CLASSIC GETTING THE ORIGINAL STYLE OF AMERICAN FAST FOOD. THE SERVICE IS EFFICIENT. IT STRIKES ME THAT THE WAITERS ALSO SUPPORT COOKING IN THE PREPARATION OF DISHES. MY RECOMMENDATION WOULD BE TO HAVE MORE CONTROL OVER THE HANDLING OF FOOD BY ALL STAFF INVOLVED IN THE PREPARATION OF FOOD. WITHOUT CHANGING THEIR STYLE OF THE PREMISES, IF IT WOULD BE GOOD TO GIVE THEM A REMODEL AS THEY LOOK OLD AND NOT VERY CLEAN.

We arrived at Johnny Rockets before it was open. We were excited as it is our favourite Diner. The staff as always are very friendly and are pleased to help. The food is amazing, what can I say. And the malt shakes are totally delicious.

Servers are fast and friendly. Love the atmosphere and the old diner feel. Not your typical fastfood place, the burger is really good and also the chicken sandwich. I'll definitely come here again.

Every single time i go shopping to the dolphin mall , i have lunch or dinner but i end eating this hamburger. It has a singular taste. The place is well set, it reminds me to another age!! It is so colorful with ballons everywhere And the prices are not bad!!!! You should try this unique hamburger of florida.

Went for lunch and the shake gave my 11 year old food poisoning. He was throwing up 4 hours later at home. This JR has been problematic in the past with crappy service but serving rotten food to kids is beyond excusable.

The location is convenient in the mall. There is plenty of staff, but things went slowly. It is quite nice to sit in the outside of the restaurant, in the mall area. Most booths have ripped or dirty seats. Everything on the table, napkin holder, ketchup bottle etc. was sticky. The food was good, not great.

Stopped in for lunch with a group of 8. Was seated immediately, service was quick, and friendly. Food was very good, the staff even danced at our table. Would definitely go back for drinks and burgers.

The service was excellent at this restaurant, I must say. The food was good too...nothing to blow me away but I got the discount book at the front desk of the mall as a tourist, so I availed of my discount.

Real classic American dinner. Hamburgers super fat but delicious. Restaurant looks like you're gonna end up in a movie. It's all kind of pricey. But nice experience.

Decadent! It was already very good a few years ago. Small and expensive sandwiches, tiny portion of fries! It's not worth it anymore... There are much better options!

Double Burger & Oreo Sun-dance will be! this is a good place even if you are not into Burgers you will find something nice to eat in a very friendly environment with a retro vibe, the waiters dance every 30 minutes to the song of the tunes from the old era and also they say hello with all the dinners when you arrive to the venue love it!!

Great american style burgers. Must try some of their desserts especially the apple pie. They also have great locations.

Floors were greasy and slippery. Most of our food was over cooked. Cheese fries had hard crusty cheese and they tasted like used oil with a bad taste. The chicken sandwich was over cooked and dry. Burger was fine. The best thing was the peanut butter milkshake. The cost was $40 with 1 milkshake, 1 burger, 1 chicken sandwich, cheese fry and regular fry. On top of that service was really slow. Servers doubled as cooks, waiters were running both inside and outside of restaurant to wait on tables. Saw only 1 person who worked behind counter full time as a cook. Restaurant completely disorganized and over priced.

Love the retro feeling of the restaurant. As a European i am fond of classic American interiors when it comes to restaurants-fast foods-diners. Servers are always friendly and fast. Never waited too long for somebody to attend to us. Burgers are big and juicy. Well worth the money. Will come again

Ate here for the 1st time. Good menu, like that you can choose what meat/veg to have in your burger. Service good except got sides so far in advance of burger had eaten them by the time the burger arrived (would have been cold had we waited). Staff were helpful, friendly and attentive. The main problem is that the area is so noisy! There were at least 3 restaurants all in the same area playing their own music then a live music stage. It was impossible to have a conversation and there was only 2 of us at a small table. My recommendation is sit inside (if you can as there is less seating indoors), as far away from the door as possible and take paracetamol!

Is a very good burger, very tasty. Service was OK, not very good, but good enough with the dance was fun.

Great place for a quick eat. Food is awesome and service is super fast. This is the place to go if in a hurry for a quick bite.

I have come to this Johnny Rocket's several times. Sometimes in the middle of the day and sometimes at night, but I have to say that last night was not their best work. The service was mediocre at best and the food was overly greasy. I got the Smokehouse single and although the taste was great the overall grease level took away from the taste. I ordered a grilled cheese for my daughter and she enjoyed it but it is not something I would order for her again. I love the retro atmosphere and their shakes, but their food could use some work. I still recommend coming here just be aware that the food can be a hit or miss.

It was busy day and the waiter inside manage to help us. He was a Chinese hard working gentleman. He was very friendly. Food was average.

I adore retro American diners and Johnny Rockets is just the thing. Classic red and white decor. This one has great location, right in the mall, so after whole day of shopping you can have dinner on the spot. Staff is very friendly and attentive even in busy times and keeps drawing smiley faces with ketchup with every order.

Bee to some in New York and wasn't sure what to expect from this location. It was PERFECT. Had a Great BIG Juicy Delicious Burger. Terrific. And the service was impeccable.

It is something of a pilgrimage, each time we arrive in Miami, have to have a johnny rockets. As good as ever.

Aside from the occassional singing everything is pretty average and ridiculously priced!

stopped in here a couple of weeks ago. was not busy so we thought we would give it a try. for the 3 of us our bill was $40!!!!!! we all ordered water. 1 burger, 1 chicken sandwich and chicken strips, with fries and onion rings. don't be surprised like we were when we found out that the fries and o-rings were a separate cost. when we got there we have to ask staff who was just standing around if we had to wait to be seated they just looked at us and said to seat ourselves. we did and it took 10 minutes to be have some one take our drink order. another 15 to get our drinks and take our food order. when the food finally did come about 20 minutes later it was wrong, we got 3 sandwiches instead of 2. we told the waitress and she said "sorry i must have fat fingered the buttons and gave you a burger instead of the strips" you think????? so another 10 went by before we got the strips. then my husband was putting some ketchup in the bowl provided and the waitress came by and snatched the bottle out of his hand and did it for him like he was not capable of doing it himself. I don't get this place. so the bill finally comes and we are charged for the burger that we didn't order had to wait another 10 minutes for that to get corrected. oh and make sure you check you receipt before leaving a tip. because one is already included for you whether you like it or not. we emailed the restaurant and got a call back from the owner who said that the tips are included because that staff wasn't getting any tips before. well sounds like they need a different staff after the experience we had there. that is not my problem. we were offered a free meal next time we are there. how sweet since it is 6 hour drive to get there. i do not recommend this place at all. go next door to the cheesecake factory. st least for $40 you can get a meal and some good cheese cake!!!!!

Been in NYC for 10 days and flew down to Miami. Straight to Dolphin Mall for a spot of shopping. And we are starving! Burgers, milk shakes, fries. Perfect start to a shopping afternoon. Very nice servers and food prices. Definitely cheaper than New York

I absolutely love Johnny Rockets but this one at Dolphin Mall was appalling! I always go for the chocolate thick shake and cheese fries but they were absolutely dreadful, just like the service! The cream on top of my shake was off and all lumpy, they didn't put the right cheese sauce on my cheese fries which looked like they had been sat ready to serve for some time before they got to my table. And this time I had a chicken philly cheese sandwich which I also previously had - this one had enough filling for one side of the sandwich! Bare in mind myself and my mum were sharing! And finally, we waited 10 minutes after asking for the bill. I will never be coming back. I was and still am throughly disappointed!

This is in a lively location, we were served promptly by a friendly waitress, and the food was well cooked and tasty, and not expensive.

What you usually would expect from an classic American diner. Burgers, hot dogs, chicken tenders, fries, etc. Some of the best milk shakes I've ever had, though. Plenty of soda pop flavor options. Helium balloons for small children for free. Food is average. Not that great, unless maybe your 12 and can handle all that heartburn. lol.

Worst choice ever! Cabbage with mayonnaise, pickles, tomatoes and onions in abundance but coin-sized meat. I paid $ 4.39 for a handful of french fries. In total for a "burger" french fries and 2 beers I paid $ 32.16. The waiter named Melvin robs you with a "smirk" smile on his face!No wonder the place is deserted. Too bad I had a different impression of Johnny Rockets restaurant considering they are on the Royal Caribbean cruise ships. Please take action because what is happening in this restaurant in Miami Dolphins Mall is outrageous.

OK. We are tourists and not familiar with the practice in Johnny Rockets. Most restaurants want you to wait until you be seated. But not Johnny Rockets: even if you are standing and waiting: no staff member will tell you: please find yourself a table. The food was good as usual (it is a chain), but we had to wait extremely long since nobody felt to be in charge of our table - later, the Restaurant Manager came to clean the table and take our order.

The burgers here are out of this world! They are cooked to perfection and I love the old style feel of the restaurant.

$50 for 2 of us. Cheeseburger, philly sandwich, 1 beer, 1 half fry/onion rings, 1 soda and a malt. The best part was the rings and beer! Plenty of other choices at the mall. The service was quick and very friendly!

Better than other kinds of fast food . Lovd the milkshake and cheesburguer .the place is nice and comfortable.
