Tonight we were seated inside, seemingly right under a speaker blasting unfathomably loud rap music. The staff declined to seat us elsewhere, or outside. Prospective diners beware.

Realizing month-old Italian mainstay that has celebrity status will be hard to get in, I nonetheless followed protocol of reservation online and chose lunch...wild time and nothing compares for tratoria fare plated so uniquely....and 3 of us were silent with delight with excellence...I am considering breakfast and eventually dinner after zeal subsides a little..

I don't live in Brentwood and wanted to host a rehearsal dinner for out of town guests. The support and service I received to plan and execute the dinner was truly phenomenal. The food was delicious (2 weeks later friends from NY and family from Boston are still raving). The gem salad, meatballs, pasta and pizza were fantastic choices. Dessert was plentiful and packed to go since my 25 guests were too full to enjoy on the spot. However, the cheesecake and cookies were terrific at 2 am (as reported to me)! The service was perfect. Thank you Harris, Danny, Kaz and Michelle.

Good service. Thin crust. Brought rest back for my sister who is not a pizza fan but thought it was great.

If you want very expensive Italian food at a place "to be seen" with an open kitchen, this is your place. It is packed even in off hours.

Jon and Vinny’s was awesome! Linguini is made fresh! Garlic bread off the chain! Music was cool! Service was on point!

Food and service were great. No complaints at all. We all enjoyed our dinner and I would definitely return. I was surprised by the 18% surcharge on the check which clearly stated it did not go towards the tip so with the tip we had almost 40% on top of the food bill.

Five of us went here for an early dinner in early November. We didn’t have a reservation, but secured an outside dining table (to the rear of the restaurant) in less than 10 minutes. Service was very good and the food came out quickly. We enjoyed salads, pizza and pasta. Of particular note was the pesto radiatori and the corn agnolotti - both were superb! We also shared the braised meatball dish which was excellent (although somewhat small for the price). We would glady return when in the area again.

For some reason, even though. number of guests pleaded with managers and servers to turn the AC down or off, we moved tables to get warmer, but still froze. That said — brace yourself for quantity. The portions are vast, so plan to share or take home. Food was generally delicious — everyone in our group of four was pleased. Terrific family vibe, and very informal.

We came here because of its reputation. The restaurant was crowded at 7:15 PM on a Friday night. The service was unhurried and different servers discussed the menu and helped us with our choices. They suggested a certain number of dishes for 3 people but we ordered less because we thought we would be ordering too much if we took their advice and we were correct. Known for their pizza, we found it much too spicy as was the fusilli and Gem salad. They did repeatedly fill our water glasses, which was a blessing. We declined dessert.

We enjoyed our dinner here. The chicken parm was great and we shared the little gem salad that was ample for two. The manager Bonnie introduced herself which was a nice touch and the atmosphere is lively and fun.

The food was very good and at a reasonable price. It is worth trying it out if you want some italian dishes in an informal location.

We were three for lunch. Extraordinarily noisy room. Service quick except for pasta main, which was late. One salad and two pizzas. Salad boring and no tomatoes allowed to be added. Cheese pizza. No additions allowed. Mushroom pizza. Pasta was small portion. Cookies for dessert. Food was good. Pizza New York style. Clearly, a place to be seen, but not heard.

Jon and Vinny's is a great spot in LA to find amazing Italian food at and affordable price. A favorite of locals and celebrities, Jon and Vinny's offers a menu full of favorites from pizzas to pastas an more. They also offer a vast wine selection to turn your casual meal into an elegant dining experience.

Dinner at Jon & Vinny’s Brentwood was so delicious! I went for the gem salad, which was really tasty, and the fusilli in spicy vodka sauce which was incredible! For dessert I had the cheese cake which I liked but I wasn’t a fan of the berry sauce it came with! But all in all a great experience!

I am a regular at this location and it is very small and cute. I have ordered Limone many times in the past, but today got a different pasta dish and it was nice with the kale and sausage. Forgot the name, but it was hearty. However, my favorite is the DESSERT. Oh man. This was exceptionally tasty. SO much flavor, subtlety, lightness, and softness in their dessert, that I regret not ordering more. I opted to actually share my dessert with a friend, which I rarely do, so next time I will make sure I MAKE ROOM FOR DESSERT.

Love this place. Went for my wife's Bday, could not have been a better evening. Our server was Nora. Complete knowledge of the menu great direction. All the people we interacted with were great. Pizza yummy, chicken parm top of it's game

I went for my birthday dinner and it was lovely. Everyone had amazing food, service was great, food was beyond. I come a lot but this time stook out. It was perfect. Highly reccomend!

Our go to restaurant for every special occasion and more. The bolognese, spicy fusilli, gem salad.....everything! The service is amazing, you will not be disappointed!

Came out to be around $50 for a pizza and pasta. Made reservations through Resy on a weeknight but it was still pretty busy. The restaurant is smaller than I thought but really cute - good for a date night, although there were a lot of families with young children there as well. The bathrooms were gender neutral and could accommodate guests in wheelchairs. They even have Aesop soap! Now on to the good stuff. The spicy fussili was recommended to me by two different ardent patrons, and while it was good, it was so small. I don’t think it would be enough for one person let alone two. The pasta is handmade fresh and that shines through but I think the portion is even smaller than Uovo and more expensive. The pizza we got was the White Bronco and had really great flavor and texture. The food is served family style and comes out as it’s ready. So everything is fresh and you can taste the high quality ingredients. 18% gratuity is automatically added and any additional gratuity goes to the service staff. Come prepared for a good meal, but also come after you’ve been paid.

I am used to waiting for a nice meal and “hyped” places (moved from NYC) but unfortunately this wasn’t the case. As an IBS/lactose intolerant person they were ignorant and not accommodating on my health needs - but still asked for a mandatory 18% service charge that is not even a tip! Even the server was in shock (since he was just the messenger) that the kitchen couldn’t simply accommodate a simple pizza without cheese but with protein. After it arrived they offered me some off the shelve salami that didn’t taste good and we discovered it had chili peppers (which I cannot eat due IBS) but my request was again rejected. They definitely don’t care about what customers have to say. The only solution they gave me was to order another plate (why not? Double my bill!). The most ironic thing was that my plate had leftover cheese strips from probably a previous pizza. See picture attached.

Jon and Vinnys is a must go if you are in LA. The food is delicious and the vibe is so fun. I loved the meatballs, pizza and pasta.

Delicious. Had dinner as a group of four colleagues and ordered family style. Everything we had hit the mark, except perhaps the orange wine which was more of a novelty than a great drink. Pizza was particularly amazing.

Italian food served family style. Although portions are small, food is excellent. Most of the servers were very good.

We four ordered two salads (recommend the apple-celery salad), three pastas (spicy fusilli was simply excellent, bucatini was solid but not fabulous), one pizza (do not recommmend the LA Woman, there are others that looked more interesting), the meatballs (two big ones and still dreaming about them), steak (very good) and three desserts (all terrific but you can skip the tiramisu if you are adventurous for something new). There is an 18% service charge which is NOT the tip so be prepared. Came out to about $90/person so that's why I title this "special occasion" but the food quality was overall excellent and we all had a great time so we will be back.
Must visit
INCREDIBLE! It is family style so the dish is small but designed to be shared. We ordered 4-5 pasta dishes and a pizza. Recommend highly the honey ricotta, LA lady pizza, and any pasta. You do have to make a reservation to get in
