The food is very tasty and reasonably priced. The restaurant is upbeat. Patio area for dining is a plus. Ordering take-out is simple. The staff are pleasant and attentive. Couldn't ask for more!

I have been going to Joselito’s for over 30 years and have never been dissatisfied with the food or service. All the waiters are friendly & accommodating, whether we are a party of two, or the whole family! Thier ‘Family Guacamole on Demand’ is made table side, to your liking, from mild to spicy. and is always a fun favorite. If you want good Mexican food with a nice, cold, tasty margarita, you won’t regret!

Best spot ever for a casual, authentic Mexican meal! Marguerita selection brings fun to your palette. Owner always bringing new items into the mix.

I’m happy with your staff and excellent service during these trying times. I have high underlying conditions, but your place is very clean and comfortable to pick up food to go. Thank you for all you do.

We love Joselito's more than our own family. It's our go to place to bring anyone visiting us. Amazing food, plenty of options - all of which are good. Truly one of the only places where I try something new every time and don't feel disappointed. The incredible real fruit margaritas are to die for. This location has some of the best waiters. We have amazing service every time. Perfect family restaurant. Love all the specialties that change every month. Cant wait for our next visit!

I am a big fan of Joselitos' sister restaurant in Montrose...however I don't think they compare well at all. The food here is not as good and is prepared differently...for instance, their nachos have big slices of onions on them...I've never had nachos prepared that way. Their quesadilla was on the dry side. They even make their margaritas differently...they are OK but nothing outstanding. The worst thing about this restaurant was the service. Our chips ran out and I had to flag down a server to get more. We ran out of water, and no one seemed to care. We had some food left over and it seemed like there was no one around to tell that we needed a box. When I paid with my credit card, they didn't even supply a pen to sign it with! They have a rather small and cramped parking lot in front. Be prepared to find a space on the street. They do have a nice patio area, and I think that on a warm summer evening it would be quite pleasant to sit outside and have a beverage or two.

Hubby and I love to have dinner dates here. Ambiance is great, food is delicious, margaritas are tasty and we’re always greeted with a warm welcome and great service through out our stay. Keep up the great work!

Been coming here for many years. My only place for Mexican food. Staff is always so friendly. Food is so tastee. Not 1 bad dish.

I truly love the place. We had a takeout this time. It was prepared so fast that by the time we got there the food was ready. The whole family enjoyed the food.

My last visit was a take out. I called it in ahead of time. The food was ready when I arrived and the five members of my family each raved about their dish. There was even some sharing going on and everyone was impressed with the quality and quantity. Overall, Joselito's provided us with a great dining experience.

Had the enchilada suizas today. So good. My friend had the pork tacos, she loved it. Everyone was so friendly and efficient. Great neighborhood place with excellent food.

It's always such a joy to visit my neighborhood Joselito's. When I have guests from out of town Joselito's Tujunga is always what I treat them to. They are always very satisfied!! The staff is very accommodating and friendly. The food is always rather quick and hot, oh and drinks are strong and tasty.

Raul was our server, he's always attentive and friendly! My Margarita drink was never empty! Lol. The food os always exceptional! I was super hungry, so I ordered one of my favorite plates that always fills me up the Lito Burrito, with shredded beef!!! My goodness, they have perfected the Burrito!!! Didn't even have room for dessert... But I did for another Margarita!!! Highly recommend this establishment!!!

We absolutely love Joselito's! It's our favorite local restaurant. We often sit on their fun patio. My favorite dish is their enchiladas almondine with mole sauce. The staff is also very friendly and attentive.

e had a lovely time at Joselitos. The staff is beyond professional, friendly, helpful and so patient with my 3 yr old which I really appreciated. The service was excellent, and all staff was wearing masks and social distancing. There were also hand sanitizing stations throughout the restaurant and everything was super clean which made us feel very safe while dining out. The atmosphere in the patio is beautiful and lively and the food was excellent. Everything we had tasted fresh and delicious. The only thing I would change next time is to ask for a little less cheese on our food, but that’s not really a complaint, because who complains about lots of cheese, just a small personal adjustment which I don’t think the staff would have a problem with at all. Overall, we had an awesome experience and can’t wait to come back.

The sweet corn tamales were excellent!! Also the Patron margarita was so refreshing. A truly wonderful meal!

Joselito's Tujunga is our favorite Mexican restaurant and one of favorite restaurants of any type. It's a jovial place that's always busy and noisy, just the way we like it. The food is consistently outstanding and the service is unmatched. I can't think of anything that needs improvement. It's just a great place.

Joselito’s is my favorite restaurant. The food, ambiance, drinks and service are consistently top notch. I brings friends, dates, business meetings and most often solo! Everyone I bring here is impressed and satisfied. Always a great meal and experience!

Joselitos Tujunga did an amazing job catering our event. Guests raved about personal touches & delicious food! Tumara advised us in a way that was money saving but at the same time fulfilling all of our wishes. It made the event so wonderful!

The food was tasty and arrived home hot and ready to eat. The portions were more than most of us could finish. It's always a treat to eat at Joselito's.

And let's not forget the Margaritas! We eat here almost weekly. Love the many vegetarian options. Wait staff always SO friendly and warm. Great place for all types of groups.

There is not much to say about Joselito's that is bad. It is just typical MA food with all the stock items (e.g. tacos, burritos, chile verde, carne asada, etc...) There brunches are very good, though and "Taco Tuesday" is fine, as well ($1.50 tacos). The atmosphere is par for the course, as well. The service is very good, which makes Joselito's a solid 3+ stars.

Delish. Never disappointed. Only downfall - the drinks are way too pricey. Maybe they should try to compete with Los Gringos (LaCanada) portions and prices on the margaritas.

The BEST Mexican food in Los Angeles. Generous portions, delicious seasonal cocktails,and a friendly efficient staff make this hidden gem sparkle. Come for the food and drink, stay for the atmosphere. A terraced garden patio stays cozy year round.

We're frequent customers and have always enjoyed the food, service and physical space. The regular menu is big and reliable but they also have fun specials in appetizers, entrees, deserts and drinks. Regarding the latter they have a full bar but also 0 alcohol beer and mocktails. The place is large enough that we never have to wait for long if at all. They also have a cute little outdoor patio. You'll be a customer for life after your first visit.

This place is great, we enjoyed delicious food in a wonderful ambiance. The drink food, and the service was unmatchable. Everything was perfect and beyond.

I ordered a vegetarian burrito. Got a mouthful of meat! Do not take your vegetarian friends here. They were more concerned about taking drink orders than getting the food right.

Joselito's is our absolute favorite local restaurant! The service is excellent, the food is consistently delicious, and eating lunch on the patio during a pleasant afternoon is life enhancing! Eating indoors is also fun, when the weather is a bit too cool or wet. My husband loves the Enchilada Del Mar. I'm vegetarian and I have many wonderful choices, and they listen carefully customizing dishes for me. 💖

We dined at Joselito's Mexican Food In Tujunga. The food was incredible. My husband devoured a crispy beef taco and scrumptious beef tamale. I had a refreshing Margarita accompanied by warm chips and mouth watering salsa. My meal was a crispy yummy chicken taco and oozy well seasoned cheese enchilada. Our server Mario is the best. Everything at Joselito's, the ambiance, the food, the decor is out of this world. Always memorable.

Invited by friends to have lunch here and I was so pleased they did! Excellent food, great atmosphere and the service was impeccable. Shredded beef tacos were crispy, fresh and hot! The homemade gelato was to die for and the prices were beyond reasonable considering the portion sizes. They even give back to the community and participate in fundraisers. Great restaurant , I will definitely visit again.

I am a big fan of Joselito's tacos, so go on Taco Tuesday, but go early. Wonderful place for wedding reception or party as they have an extra room. Great service. Great food.

Great food and many things to choose from. The servers and staff are friendly and always willing to help! Some times one of the owners will stop at your table and ask how things are! We love the Caribbean Steak dinner. There are other dishes we have tried and love them as well. We have celebrated birthdays here and have brought friends. They have loved the food as well, even having a picky eater one time. The parking can be difficult at times, But you can always find a place either in their lot or across the street or even on the street. Come by some time or come back!

I hadn't been there in a few years because the food was so bland. So I tried it again and it was even worse that I remembered. It has a great atmosphere and their patio is pet friendly. The inside is a quaint version of what a Mexican restaurant is supposed to be, but none of the food has any "old Mexico" taste. The majority of the people I saw there were there for the drinks. With Uber, you can really go crazy there, and with enough liquor, it doesn't matter what the food tastes like. Would not go back there again. One of the owners named Tamala has a real attitude and and would scare away a Halloween trick or treater.

If you are looking for a great huge margarita, this is the place for you. The food is great too. The salads, enchiladas and burritos are pretty good. The service is good considering how busy it gets on weekends. The waiters are also very friendly. We end up at this restaurant at least once a week.

Every time I decide to come to eat at Joselitos I leave very satisfied. It’s just like eating authentic but without the 100 plus drive to Mexico. Anything on the menu is fabulously delicious. Joselito's West has proved to be superior to it's companion restaurant in Montrose (they used to be owned by brothers but no more and they have had different management and menus for several years now). We visit regularly and the staff recognize me and treat us like welcomed visitors/friends, still with a professional attitude. My husband is in a wheelchair, and the staff will push him out to the car when we leave, that is the level of caring attitude they have. The enchilada, taco and tamale we had were delicious. The table salsa is consistently tasty, not too spicy to please the masses, and the chips fresh. The service (for takeout) was also excellent.

Fantastic food, service, and atmosphere! Everyone loved their food. Excellent guacamole, made and served tableside. Queso was delicious. Very cozy and decorated with lots of festive holiday decorations. Will definitely be back!

I usually order the chicken enchilada suizas & they are consistently good. My husband loves the specials like the recent short rib tacos. Service is friendly & efficient and their is a patio that allows dogs & even has a menu for them. Table side guacamole available.

The atmosphere, the tasty food, the fantastic drinks, and the friendly staff - everything is wonderful! That said, there is room for improvement regarding available dishes for vegetarians. :( My wife and I have been going to Joselito's Tujunga for 8 years, but we are restricted to a very limited number of options, which makes dining there very routine. Switching out vegetable broth for chicken broth in your rice would add more variety to your offerings. Using Impossible or similar plant-based "meats" is another opportunity.<3

Joselitos has a great vibe and very very good food and good service. the place has great decor and a wonderful outdoor patio. whenever we come here we're always satisfied with our meal and the price. if the parking lot is full you can park in a lot across the street. this is our favorite Mexican restaurant.

Suiza enchiladas and mole enchiladas plus organic margaritas on the rocks last evening. Perfecto. So easy to order on the phone and to pick up. Everything was exactly as ordered. Joselito's on Foothill Boulevard in Tujunga may not be the most convenient for us but it is certainly worth a few miles more on the freeway.

I had the beer battered zucchini tacos, which are always fantastic! My husband had the southwest chicken salad and didn't enjoy it as much. Very flavorful but some of the chicken was a little tough. He still enjoyed it. I had a $10 reward Lito reward certificate and we were told the margarita Monday discount ($4) couldn't be used with it when paying. I believe the waiter didn't remove it but it was a bit frustrating since it does not specify that restriction on the reward. Otherwise, it was a wonderful evening in one of our favorite places!

This is a very well established restaurant that provides an "Americanized" version of the old Mexico favorites. Do not confuse this one with the Joselito's in Tujunga. Totally different cuisine. Taking the best of Mexico and adding a few Centeral American dishes, you have the best variety of mildly spicy dishes. A really good family restaurant.

Joselito's has good food with a unique and different selection from your normal mexican fare. I got some short rib tacos with blue cheese and chipotle sauce and they were awesome.

We’ve been coming here since we moved to the area in 2019 and have never had a bad experience. The food, drinks and service are consistently wonderful. Also you cannot beat kids eat free on Sundays!

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo (May 5) by having lunch in this Mexican Resto. The place was full. We were seated right away but it took a while for our orders to be served. Three helpings of tortilla chips and salsa was the wait. Oh well, it was a special holiday anyway. We ordered almondigas soup, veggie burrito, flautas, beef mole burrito. We liked their food and ambiance. Only thing funny was the location of their restrooms, right next to their kitchen. Otherwise, all good!

Great food so creative the menu additions even including vegetarian. The service, level of care outstanding. The value is phenomenal, one of our favorite places to dine. Lovely atmosphere looking forward when we can dine inside but thrilled they offer outside dining now.

I was taken to this Mexican restaurant by family and friends, who, living in LA, knew where to go. It was off the LA tourist trail, but definitely worth the detour. It had a great ambiance, friendly service and, of course, wonderful Mexican food. There were good vegetarian options. As is frequently the case in the US, the portion size was large, but I had no problem finishing my plate. Oh, and the margaritas were to die for !

I love their chicken enchilada suizas. Hard to make myself order something different. Chips & salsa always served generously. They have started making fresh guacamole table side but we have not tried that yet. Be sure to check out their specials board outside the front door. Always something interesting.

We dined at Joselito's after a grueling work week. We were greeted by super friendly staff. Mario our waiter is the best. Our beverages included scrumptious margaritas, and we chowed down on taco combination plates . I ordered the chicken tacos and they were chock full of well seasoned chicken breast meat, accompanied by crisp lettuce and shredded cheese. My husband had the crispy beef tacos, which were very yummy. All was accompanied by tasty mexican rice and luscious cheese topped refried beans. The portions were so large we took a lot home. Thank you Joselito's for another home run meal.

Our Los Angeles family highly recommended this as their favorite Mexican restaurant and we were glad they did. The food was great with lots of choices on the menu, although the vegetarian dishes were not highlighted separately. This is clearly a neighborhood favorite with real "down home" ambience.

Nothing to improve, staff goes above and beyond. Our waiter was so attentive and personable, made my evening. He was so respectful in honoring my wish to not be sang to when I presented my birthday rewards voucher. Gave me a pic of myself with a sombrero hat and my favorite, flan. Great customer service, is rare these days but great for business as we go there more often now.

I’ve been going to Joselitos since 1991 when I moved to Tujunga. Never had a bad experience. Staff is very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. I bring my family and friends friends from out of town there. Everyone loves it.

A friend took me to Joselito's and as we entered the small, lovely walkway above the recessed patio, she pointed to the small chalkboard menu for...dogs! Sure enough, there were 3 or 4 special items for dogs, who are welcome on the patio. Had I known, I'd have brought at least one of mine. We ate inside, however, and it is a charming place. The handsome waiters are extremely gracious and the food was very good. I had pollo en mole (chicken in mole sauce), which was delicious, as was the rice that it came with. My friend, who is on a very restricted diet, ordered the ahi tuna salad and it was enormous, enough for her to take half home for another meal. NOTE: The corn tortillas are made there and for me, worth the trip. My margarita was excellent, too.

We were there for a cinco de mayo birthday dinner. The food was exceptional... I had the Joselito’s Especiale Burrito. A burrito with a chili relleno inside with sauce on top , rice and beans. It was scrumptious. The other dish that was ordered at our table was a green corn tamale plate that reportedly was also very good. We had the chili con queso for an appetizer and it was very cheesy. The chips and salsa were nearly endless . Service was prompt and accurate, drinks were refilled very quickly and we had three baskets of chips with five dishes of salsa for the four of us an we were asked by two different servers if we wanted more. The is one of our families favorite restaurants in the Sunland/Tujunga area.

Always have loved the patio dining in particular, although we have been doing take-out during this pandemic. Our food and drinks are always promptly prepared, fresh and delicious. We have enjoyed the specials as a little change of pace. Just sorry you ran out of the lobster enchiladas before we had a chance to try them! Being able to order our margaritas to-go has been fun. Love this place!

It was nice to be treated to glasses of champagne for our anniversary. Also the staff is always alert and courteous. We’re always greeted when we arrived and thanked when we leave. We had 2 family members who now have come about 3 times and they’ve been spreading the word about Joselitos. Their victims of the Eaton fire back in Jan 2025, so it’s nice they can relax and enjoy an authentic Mexican dinner.

We were Test-Guests before their reopening. Service was great, Nathan was our server. Food, as always, delicious! We shared the Chupacabra Fajitas, corn cakes, and fresh guacamole! Perfect shareable size for 3 to 4 people. Margaritas were perfect for a hot summer day! As always, corn cakes and flan were on point! Everything was fresh and delicious!

A very friendly neighborhood family restaurant where the wait staff takes the time to remember your name. Very impressive!! Oh, did I mention their food is scrumptious!!

The food is consistently good, a favorite of mine is the shrimp cocktail. The sushi is a favorite, the environment is fun, and the staff is very friendly. What more can one want. We enjoy both lunch and dinner or somewhere in between.

We dined at Joselito's Tujunga ordering the Grande Fajitas ( beef, chicken and shrimp) The meats and shrimp were well seasoned and cooked to perfection. Served with a variety of vegetables (overflowing) grilled to perfection. All served on a sizzling cast iron skillet. Accompanied by guacamole, pico de gallo, excellent cheese laden refried beans, scrumptious Spanish rice, and flour tortillas. A mouth watering meal we will order again and again. Portion size enough for 2 and we took a lot home.

Super cute and authentic place. Really delicious tacos, fresh ingredients and right portions. Tasty meat, soft tortillas, sauces really made well (the green is spectacular). Even the nachos were super crisp and not “wet” as often happens.

As this place is quite popular, recommend you make reservations in advance to avoid the "hangries" ;) We enjoyed some delicious and relaxing margaritas in the cozy ambience, but it wasn't long before our entrees were on the table, and not much longer before they were devoured! We've been going to Joselito's for so long they staff are almost family now, we're lucky to have them here in Tujunga!

My wife and I had the same server the last two times we went there and I don’t know his name but he was a superb server with excellent customer service skills!! We love love love the food there. We love the lifo burrito And a hardshell shredded beef tacos. No other Mexican restaurant compares to Joselito’s food! We come here once a week!

Had dinner with a friend. Service was excellent and food was hot and delicious! Food was authentic. Great atmosphere, only kitchen noise was the hum of the blender for those frozen margaritas. I prefer mine on the rocks!

This was my first visit since Covid started. The staff and restaurant has taken great measures in safety to protect the staff and customers. The food is just as great as it every was.

Joselito's on Foothill is our favorite neighborhood spot. The staff is friendly, gracious and attentive. The food and drinks are always excellent. The charming outdoor patio is always a treat for our little dog - they even have a dog menu! The specials add to the delicious choices for us as well.

The food was great as usual but service was pretty slow considering it was not as crowded as usual - maybe because we did not order fajitas on fajita night. Our server was apologetic and it was not for his lack of working hard. The Cadillac margaritas were excellent but for the salted rim falling inside the glass......and they need to bring back the cucumber jalapeno margarita.

Both locations offer delicious food, great atmosphere, and an overall terrific atmosphere. The Sunday brunch does not disappoint. The serving staff were friendly and helpful. The food was delicious. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. I can't wait to return.

Ate dinner here with my husband and my baby for the first time got served by Cami she was amazing went back a week later to see her and get served by her, food is delicious Cami the server is amazing will continue to go back to visit her and get served by her.

While in the LA area a couple of weeks ago, a friend invited me to Joselito's in Tujunga, stating that they had the best wednesday night Mexican buffet he'd ever experienced. Having been disappointed numerous times with the ordinariness of most Mexican buffets, I was more than a little suspicious. He was right! For a reasonable price you can get Mexican fare with a flare...an always creative menu with chocolate flan AND chocolate gelato for dessert! Sooo good! Terrific Margaritas w/organic tequila started our meal nicely.. The staff is friendly. and a strolling guitar player is a nice addition. On the 210 freeway, take the Sunland exit. Head towards the mountains on Foothill Blvd. for 2.3 miles and watch for the big sign on the right. I'll be back to this restaurant every time I'm in LA!

We have a little gem of a restaurant in Tujunga. Was so nice to sit outside and have dinner with my family last night. Covid hasn’t been easy on out restaurants. The service was excellent as were the good drinks. Everyone loved the dinner. We’ve been coming here over 39 years. It just get better and better.

We took a close friend to Joselito's. He ordered some special Mexican coffee he loved and a special burrito. We had tableside guacamole and my husband and I dined on delicious steak fajitas. The wait staff is always friendly and very efficient. the Strawberry Margaritas are a must.

We've been going here for years and mainly during Taco Tuesday. I love their chicken tacos, they are the best out of all the Mexican Restaurants I go to. Their Guacamole made to order is the best also. I will be trying other items on the menu (won a free meal per month for a year in their Holidays promo) and will update review as I can.

Our waiter Nathan was very courteous, friendly and professional. You can eat inside or outside at this time. Margaritas are good too. Highly recommend going here when looking for good Mexican food.

We are regulars who love Joselito’s Tujunga. This was our first time dining on the patio. We loved that, too. Attentive service, excellent and authentic Mexican fare.

Your picture is of the Montrose, not Tujunga location. I like the Tujunga location the best myself. Assuming it to be the first location as it seems more practiced. In Tujunga they have a bigger place, cooler patio. I think the food is better. I don't drink, love iced tea both locations. Expect most people will end up in Montrose as there is little to see in Tujunga.

Judging from the large, noisy crowd at Joselito's in Tujunga is, this is the go-to Mexican restaurant in the area. The popularity is well-deserved, as this is a great place to socialize. I've been there several times recently and each time I received hot, fresh tortillas, bottomless chips and salsa, fresh bar drinks and a large, varied menu including traditional Cal-Mex along with some surprises. Among the latter, Ahi tuna tacos are especially appealing and my personal favorite, pozole verde. This is a hearty Mexican stew that can be made with chicken, pork or other meats. I've enjoyed their chicken pozole verde twice and it's an excellent break from rice, beans, and a traditional main item such as an enchilada, burrito, and the like. Joselito's keeps it interesting by offering a special dishes that appeal to those who want to expand their palate. The service is always attentive and aware of the needs of the table. It seems the wait staff are long time employees who enjoy interacting with the diners. In sum, I truly enjoy dining here.

I’ve been trying new places in the area, and this one is easily top 3. Everything we ordered had great flavor, and the atmosphere felt relaxed, not chaotic like some spots. Really glad we gave it a shot.

I sat out on the patio, which I love, and had fresh made guacamole and a margarita before lunch. Everything was great. The chips were warm, the food was done right, the service was excellent. I wish management would get more fish on the menu, but other than that, I have only praise for this restaurant.

Our family of five loves eating at Joselito's. There is always something each person wants, no one leaves hungry, and the price tag is reasonable. Even during the past couple of months of take out, we've been happy with the ordering and the pickup. Food is always still hot when we get it home. Love their salsa - my only complaint is there's never enough! But that's because I want the salsa with the chips. I want the salsa with my meal. And I want the salsa the next day with any leftovers that weren't eaten the night before. Thank you Joselito's for being open all these months and not leaving us to dine on fast food only.

The fajitas chupacabras and chile relleno here are the best. We always make sure to ask for a side of the habanero to go with our food.

I had to wait quite a while for a table. My drink order was incorrect but the waitress made it up by giving me an extra shot of Grande Marnier. I didn't enjoy the margarita that much but i did not want to send it back because I don't like sending food/drinks back. Overall, the visit was ok.

Joselita's West used to be a sister restaurant to the restaurant of the same name in Montrose, but at some point they diverged. Now, Joselito's West has much the better food. Their menu has not only the standard Cali-Mex food you would expect, burritos, tacos and enchiladas, but also more inventive items like potato skins and pineapple jalapeno margaritas. Yesterday, my husband had the Huevos Rancheros, which he adored, and I had the Chicken Flautas. My only complaint is that they make their flautas huge and you get two on a plate. They were very tasty, but I could only eat one and they are hard to pick up and eat, being so heavy and hot. I had to eat it with a fork and knife, which is contrary to my experience of eating flautas/taquitos. Smaller would be better, in my opinion. The ambiance is fine, especially outside on the patio. Inside, they only have booths, no tables with chairs, which made seating my husband in a wheelchair problematic, but they have one large booth with a spot for a chair and luckily that was open for us. They also have a pretty large back room available for parties, They welcome dogs outside and used to have a special dog menu, not sure whether that still exists or not.

We came for my Birthday dinner an the dinner was absolutely wonderful. Food was fantastic. The staff was fantastic so friendly and professional. The Service was excellent. We will be returning and recommending Joselito's in Tujunga. The best Mexican restaurant.

I eat at this restaurant at least once a month. Sometimes I dine w/ friends often I am alone. I especially ♥ sitting in the patio, it is cool, green & is so very relaxing... But the patio backs onto an alley & the neighbors behind have four YAPPY Little Dogs, which can be annoying. Also, the Patio is on an incline, so if you are heavy, you will not want to sit at the table near the stairs going to the next level down, it could be dangerous and the patio floor there is not quite level. The food is quite good, as is the Electric Blue Margarita.... but do pay attention because, twice I've ordered shredded beef tacos and have gotten at least 1 chicken taco in the mix..... They are just as delicious, but I didn't notice until my friend said: "I thought you ordered beef tacos.... Well that meat is white!" It was! LOL! The prices are a bit high for the neighborhood, so I usually wait for Taco Tuesday when their shredded Beef & shredded chicken tacos are $1.25 (BUT ONLY IF YOU ORDER A DRINK)..... I would like service to be a bit better, more inquiry if everything is fine, do I need./want something more..... But we were here Thursday & Nathaniel REALLY Made up for the usually disinterested service. He was friendly, attentive & more than willing to be of service! Let's be honest, average service receives an average or less tip. A "TIP" is a "Gratuity" for Good Service. Nathaniel earned the 20%! More of the servers could takes lessons from this young man. The parking is Hellacious, a tiny lot basically for mini vehicles only, not much room for maneuvering into/out of a space..... You might prefer to park across the street! Yes, we will be going back again.....

One of the things I miss most about living in the southwest is GOOD Mexican food. So when I visited friends in California recently, I went hunting for enchiladas and chimichangas and all my favorite stuff. My friends recommended Joselito's and I am so glad they did! During my stay, I went back to Joselita’s a few times — it was that good. The fish tacos were fresh and flavorful, and the chicken enchiladas were great! I also had a chimichanga, and I always order my chimis enchilada-style (basically drowned in sauce) and I really do judge a Mexican place by the enchilada sauces. Both the red and the green sauces were sooo gooood! And the fresh guacamole! Yum! The restaurant atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were friendly and attentive. I can see why my friends are devoted to this place. I will definitely go there again next time I'm in the area visiting. Have you considered opening a Georgia location? I just can't get enough!

I was first introduced to Joselito's via their sister restaurant in Montrose, CA. At first I thought it was just the standard Mexican fare; glops of brown and orange served on hot plates with flat tortillas. But having explored the menu further, especially at this branch in Tujunga, I have to say now that Joselito's has a menu that will satisfy the expectations of most visitors. I actually look forward to eating here now, and just had a most excellent enchilada special the other day which I finished completely. On a previous visit, I tried Joselito's Mexican spin on a potato-skin appetizer and it was excellent! The drinks are fresh, and the beer is varied; not a lot of American choices, as they try to stick to their Mexican theme, but there are a couple of craft brews (eg, Firestone, Angel City) and half a dozen Mexican bottles and drafts. The interior is pleasant but the multi-level back patio is an especially nice place to sit and socialize. A few of the employees do not speak English, but there are enough that do that it doesn't seem to be much of a problemo. Thumbs up.

Don't sleep on the crunchy shredded beef taco! One of the best items on the menu.

I tried the breaded zucchini tacos with avocado. They were far better than I ever expected and are my new favorite! The only thing we didn’t love was the chocolate flan. It was thick/heavy but we were delightfully full anyway! The service was awesome as was my blood orange margarita!!

First timer, the food was great!! I had the Combo Enchilada/hard shell taco, both were delicious but I would of liked a little more sauce on the enchilada. Other then that it was perfert.

This restaurant is always on the ball. The menu changes with the times. The food is consistently good, the prices stay within reason, and the service is second to none. One beer on the patio, eating salsa and chips can transport you somewhere out of time and place-- until you get the bill. But it's never too much, and it's always worth the experience.
