This is one of the better hotel bars. A good barman on duty that knew his beers and they had some good beers on. A good local crowd in too. We liked it. We did't eat here.

After a long day of driving and sightseeing, it was so wonderful to have a restaurant on premises. Not only was the food delicious but all the staff was friendly and professional. Kyle was our waiter when we went for dinner and he is wonderful. One evening we walked in just before closing for a quick cup of coffee and the bartender took care of us with a smile. No attitude at all that we walked in while they were cleaning up for the evening.

Basically this is the bar/restaurant for the DoubleTree Hilton. I was there three nights and coming from the UK my impression was that you pay high street prices for a very good on-site facility, which to me was outstanding.

Checked-in at DoubleTree and breakfasts were served in Justice Tavern. Everything tastes average. Food served needs more variety as it only served Pork meat (i.e. sausage, bacon). Its personalized omelettes are the only must-try. Ambiance is nice. High-ceiling gives a welcoming feel. There are four televisions that show different channels each. Has the potential for a good sports bar at night. But again, this is a review about its breakfast offering.

We ate breakfast here one morning. The buffet has amazing options, even miso soup! A bit pricey, but they also have a children's pricing option. Adults were pleased with omelette options off the a la carte menu. Definitely a good choice if you are staying in the hotel, but I would not go out of my way to eat here. Service was excellent!

Sign out front advertising said 15 dollars for special of the day and a craft beer. But when you get inside they tell you no craft beer, just the meal for 15 bucks. They said they had the wrong sign out and offered a half hearted apology. Odd place. We had a beer and left. Could have easily offered the special they advertised. Seemed intentionally misleading. Bad business.

I really liked this restaurant, was well run helpful and friendly staff good food. there a handy take out service for guests in the hotel. they even had jam and toast !

Happy hour begins at 3:00pm for the restaurant bar. There are many discounted happy hour food items and over 14 local beer choices. The bar food was very good, local beer choices are a great plus and service was top notch. Try it!

Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner there, all exceptional. The menu covers all tastes with gourmet flare. Try the Mushroom, Mozzarella, Goat cheese & Arugula flatbread--oh my! The 3-Onion Soup with Beef Rib excellent and the Lamburger? Oh dear; now I'm drooling.

Staff not that friendly, quite expensive and it closes at 11pm. Food very limited. the air con was always set too cold you will need a coat to sit in here !!!

Great Restaurant for Breakfast and Dinner. Lunch also, but were not there for lunch. Andy the waiter was very cool and fun.

Worse service. They take your order and then don’t come back to see if everything is okay. Same issue 2 days in a row. My first day my order came out wrong. Waitress never came back for more coffee. I had to get up and get my own Second time waiter didn’t come back until after we finished. Training might help

This restaurant is in the Doubletree in LA and was convenient. Food was good, but not outstanding. There are no other restaurants close to the hotel, so we were limited in choice.

Luís our server is so amazing. So accommodating and anticipated to all our our requests. Thank you so much Luis for your your amazing service. Great food of course.

The food was adequately prepared, but there was nothing memorable about it. The single standout was the macaroni and cheese, which is served with the Barbecued Ribs. When ordered as a side dish, the portion is large enough to easily feed two or three people. The fusilli pasta is drenched in creamy cheesy goodness, representing the epitome of "comfort food." I tried the Justice Wings on the appetizer menu and was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any spicy kick to them. The Grilled Angus Ribeye steak was flavorful, but the succotash that comes on the side was mostly lima beans. The country mashed potatoes were good. There were only three desserts on the menu and I've already forgotten what they were. There was no cheesecake or pie.

Spent three days at the Downtown Double Tree for which Justice Urban Tavern is on property. You can easily walk to this location from the hotel and they will allow you to charge to your room. The food is just okay. First, I had lunch. I ordered my usual club sandwich. The club is definitely a Los Angeles variant. It had strange leafy greens and a weird type of bread. The bacon was not crispy. The sandwich came with some weird fries but the fries were okay. Worst of all, it was just a regular sandwich. No triangles, no layers. Second, I had the breakfast buffet. . . after waiting for ten minutes. When I got tired of waiting at the door, I sat myself, notified a passing server, and headed to the buffet. It was a normal buffet but good. Eggs, potatoes, fruit, yogurt, cereals and meat. . . Sausage and Bacon! The bacon had a good variety, both floppy and crispy. They also offered omlet service. However, the small buffet was pricy and I did not think it was worth it.

My husband had to travel to LA for medical treatment. Justice was part of the hotel we stayed at. We ate there several times and I ate there alone a couple of times. We had both lunch and dinner. The Bar b que sandwich is very good, so are the burgers. They are juicy and tasty. The fish and chips are nice. BBQ ribs are very good and the Mac and cheese are yummy. Service can be a little slow is yiu don't have Tim or Jazmin.

Not a huge selection of beer, but a nice spot with an outdoor seating area. Staff was very friendly too, not very crowded when i went friday night. More of an afterwork, during the week, happy hour kind of spot.

Extremely high prices, poor service except when it was time to pay. We had the breakfast buffet which was good but try to get service, forget it until your through eating then 3or 4 staff is all around to see if a tip will be left. My tip, lower the prices and be around to provide servie.

Stayed at Doubletree and this place is a must The food is yummy and the service is awesome. Prices fair. Clean and nice decor.

This was a decent lunch and dinner place, and well located for those staying at the downtown hotels. Nice beer list as well.

It is located in the Double tree hotel and I was looking for a restaurant where to eat dinner on the first night of my stay. I asked for salad and pasta, which was delicious. It was nice to be able to go back to my room immediately after eating.

I was staying in the hotel and walked down to get a TO GO order. It took a couple minutes before anyone acknowledged me, then after I placed my order, I was told it would be 15 minutes. OK. I stood there for almost 40 minutes waiting for my TO GO order. BTW, my order was just an order of wings and fries, which cost me almost $20. Ridiculous.

Justice Urban Tavern is the restaurant in the Double Tree Hotel, so after a late Friday night arrival, we popped in for dinner. The restaurant had a small bar with a lively crowd, and the decor is upscale contemporary. We enjoyed a great meal that included the Brick-Pressed Chicken, Grilled Salmon and Grilled Skirt Steak (aka Fajitas). All were delicious, especially the chicken. Our dinner was accompanied by a glass of Incognito (a white blend) wine, and one of the craft beers from the menu. Service was friendly, but slow. That said, given the location of the hotel, and the lack of other restaurants within walking distance, Justice Urban Tavern is a cut above your typical hotel restaurant.

We recently stayed at the Double Tree Hilton and had dinner at Justice a couple of times. We really liked the open space and light. Staff were courteous and menu was innovative. Stephanie and Saul were great servers. We had good times.

Go to MOOYAH's they have better burgers. I'm sad because I always look forward to my experiences out and about. This hotel does the bare minimum for it's guests.

Stayed at the hotel and managed to stop in for a few drinks after work was done. Very nice place, great bartender that night - sorry can't remember his name - but did a great job. Had a tough day and this was a nice way to wind down. Good food too.

This is a great restaurant for a Doubletree and downtown. We loved the breakfasts and enjoyed a dinner here too. The food is not overly complicated and affordable. Has a great atmosphere for couples or families. Service is excellent.

This is a great hotel bar./restaurant. The service was very good, the wine options were good. They served local craft beers on tap and others bottled. The food was also very good!

We were HOT, having wandered round down town LA for ages trying to find a nice restaurant. We finished up outside a Starbucks (not to my taste!) and this California HIghway Patrolman pointed to this place. They served iced tea, and kept filling up your glass. He had seared fish, which was nice and tasty, I had a burger, because nothing else particularly appealed. As I said above, the fries were very well cooked, maybe twice over, but the jus with his fish was so good he asked for a bread bun, and got one freshly baked Service was excellent, and the ambience was really quite good considering the restaurant is part of a Doubletree by Hilton hotel Not particularly expensive, given that it is LA, and we don't eat Chinese, and him indoors declines to try Japanese, so our choice was restricted, but I wouldn't say don't go!

We stayed at the Doubletree Hotel, and were not too excited about it until we went into Justice; the place was nicely decorated, clean and modern. Sitting at the bar, we saw the great beer selection, and took a couple of recommendations from Josh, the friendly bartender - really spot on. We thoroughly enjoyed the Margherita flatbread (fresh burrata cheese - super tasty) the smoked wings (great flavor, not greasy) and the calamari (also fresh and non greasy). Ended up going back three times in the two days we were there. I would recommend this place wholeheartedly, and frankly, this would help me recommend the hotel - kinda saved the experience.

Had vouchers for some of the breakfasts, so went there. Good breakfast buffet. Had dinner there the first night because we didn't want to travel after flying cross country. Not disappointed. All three of us had very good dinners. The fish was fresh, and the the portions were good. The service was very good also.

Stayed in the adjacent hotel and wanted something close by. Pleased to stop here, the food was quite good and service very nice for a 4pm meal. F&C is very tasty and the Mac & cheese makes a great side. Try it!

Choices are plentiful - juice, milk, coffee, pastries, cold cereal, made-to-order omelettes...or help yourself to scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, breakfast potatoes, pancakes/french toast, and oatmeal. There is even some Asian foods available. Great place to start your morning!

We ate lunch and dinner here. I learned that LA had passed an ordinance requiring only large hotels to pay staff $15.00 an hour. Needless to say this put this large hotel restaurant at an immense competitive disadvantage. Instead of closing, the staff was drastically reduced and everyone, including the management pitched in al all shared the work. Before I heard this the small staff was a concern as the place was busy. However, their teamwork was fantastic and the service was excellent. The food was great, served hot, and was a goof value. I would definitely eat here again.

Gross overcooked french fries. They add 20% gratuity to ALL orders. I waited 25 minutes for my order to be taken and there was only one other table at the time. I'm still waiting for my check so I can get the heck out of this gross establishment.

We recently stayed at the Doubletree by Hilton Downtown Los Angeles and as Hilton Gold Members received free buffet breakfast at the Justice Urban Tavern. Fortunately we had the pleasure of being served several times by Theresa who made us feel very welcome and provided us with an interesting insight into life both locally and in the USA generally (bearing in mind the electioneering currently in progress). The buffet had a wonderful selection of fresh fruits, yoghurts and pastries in addition to 'made to order omelettes and eggs', already prepared scrambled eggs, breakfast potatoes, pancakes, bacon, sausages, tomatoes and a selection of Asian cuisine. The staff in the made to order section were always friendly and only too happy to accommodate, as were all the staff. So impressed were we by the standard at breakfast we also ate dinner there several times and found the quality of the food to be consistently good, with a good selection of menu options. I was not comfortable walking around the surrounding areas of the hotel so it was great to be able to 'eat in'. Justice Urban Tavern is a winner.

My wife and I ate here after a long flight from Ireland. It was right beside our hotel so it was handy for us. The service was top notch and the staff were friendly. We thought the food was very tasty. It is basic good food, nothing fancy, done very well. We were very happy with the place and would eat here again if we were ever back.

Lovely ambience for a dinner before our concert. We had creamy Pasta with Vegetables. The best pasta I ever had. I would love your recipe. Maryharvey0880@gmail.com Morning breakfast was fantastic: many varieties of juices, eggs, bacon, sausage, full gamut of toasts and pastries. Attentive servers. Now my favorite spot!

Food quality was good and service was attentive. I found the menu somewhat limited and would have enjoyed more choices. The atmosphere was clean and modern but prices were a bit on the high side but probably what would you would expect from a downtown hotel location. The place was empty even on a Saturday night so the vibe was quite. This suited me fine but might disappoint others.

Since I stay at the double tree 2 weeks out of the month I've probably tried everything on this odd menu. I don't have a lot of good things to say really. The food is awful...simply put. I usually have to send it back or it gets comp'd. I've stopped eating there and find elsewhere. Most of the staff are pretty awesome though (minus the chefs). Some of the bartenders are awesome as well (there seems to be an ever rotating door and many of them are complete crap). The breakfast is exactly the same thing every morning for the last 5 years. Note to the GM and executive chef - stop trying to be super fancy and get the basics correct first. Steak shouldn't be full of tendon and so chewy a dog could eat on it for a month. Chicken and fingerlings shouldn't be simultaneously dry and drowning in liquid. Steamed vegetables shouldn't break your teeth to chew on them. I would fire the executive chef and start over but I'm feeling fairly Gordon Ramseyish right now. I guess I'm expecting too much from a hotel restaurant but when someone just wants wings and a beer, they have to go elsewhere.

We had breakfast and dinner in the Justice Urban when we stayed in the DoubleTree Hotel of which it is part. Food was good and price reasonable. Atmosphere is also quite good.

Very small menu to select from... costs more than regular restaraunt for the value and selection. Breakfast as part of Doubletree Hotel is good. They do make custom omlets on request and a good breakfast selection

This is not your average bar/restaurant that is attached to a hotel, The Double Tree Downtown. The food is of high quality and freshly made... Good variety as well. Not your typical bar restaurant!

Food and drink excellent - would recommend a visit whether staying at adjacent hotel or not. Don't be fooled by the exterior!

This place is joined onto the Doubletree so we decided to pop in here after a long haul flight. The place itself doesn't really have much character but firstly the staff were great and very attentive and helpful. One girl even suggested some places to visit during our stay. I wasn't wanting anything too fancy so I just decided to order some sweet potato fries and a salad which had a lovely sweet dressing on covered in walnuts, I've been craving it ever since. The portion sizes were very generous and the food itself tasted lovely. It was a nice start for a quick pit stop at the hotel!

There is an omelet station that cooks your eggs to order, plus many hot dishes already prepared to choose from. Also there is an Asian breakfast area with Congee and Miso Soup.

This place is a little fancy but prices are not unreasonable. I ate here for breakfast and lunch when I stayed here for work. I had the classic breakfast which came with 2 eggs, I chose bacon and it came with a choice of bread and I had white toast, which came with plenty of butter and jam. The Apple juice was ice cold which was great. The hairstyle fries were seasoned well and flavorful. The scrambled eggs were cooked just right and not runny like you might get at other places. The service was good and my food came out fast. For lunch, I had a root beer with fish and chips. The fish was hot and fresh. A little greasy, but most fish is after it comes out of an oil bath. They gave me plenty of tarter sauce. I hate not having enough. The fries were good. I would have preferred more salt on them. The server was great. She kept the rootbeers coming. The food came out shortly after I ordered. All around, two good meals on the same day. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor seating available. I was here on a Friday and both times, it was not that busy.

I like the food and the drinks in the restaurant. I was eating a salad. Sitting outside is very nice since the restaurant has a beautiful seating area outside. You can also go to the restaurant directly from the Hilton hotel

Stopped in to have the fish and chips. Delicious! But choices were limited and most of those choices I did not prefer.

We had a huge, delicious salad, the black bean burger, and the pastrami sandwich for lunch. All were very tasty, generous portions, and the service was efficient. Very good place to grab lunch.

Named after all the law officials in the area and working not far from it, Justice doesn't have too bad of a happy hour. I've tried Deviled Eggs, Mushroom Flatbread and Fries. The presentation of the dishes are appealing and the food is delicious too, so you can't complain. The serves are also pleasant. Bad part? If you're not by the area parking would suck. Would I come here again? Sure, why not.

Went to this place because we were in a meeting across the street. Very clean and modern. The menu was short but very original. We both had the grilled chicken salad which was not your typical bowl of greens; had sweet pickles corn lima beans tomato and a great dressing. We would definitely come back!

Nice decor, tv, inside and outside dining. Found staff to be excellent. We shared a burger, which was cooked perfect and very good. We ate at the bar. The wine selection is not good and they have a terrible wine glass ( size and shape). I had a gin and tonic which was terrible. The tonic water was not good at all. It was convenient, because we were staying at hotel.

Inside the hotel, not to busy, not to pricey and cooked to order. Good size portion, soft drinks free re-fills and well fitted out

After a day visiting the sights of downtown LA it was way past time to recharge and we needed food. We went into Justice Urban Tavern for lunch my wife had Sesame Chicken Salad and I had the Flat Iron Steak with fries. The steak was done to perfection, the veggies were great, chips were the thin cut sticks, they were OK but prefer thicker cut fries. My wife’s salad was extremely good and my wife ate every last bite. The waitress seemed to be only going through motions and didn’t seem to want to be there. The meal was great, well priced.

Taking its theme from the proximity of Los Angeles City Hall, the Superior Court, and LA Law Library, the Justice Urban Tavern has a cheerful city-style decor. The venue, which just opened in March, has an outdoor patio, a spacious bar and adjoining dining area. There are numerous craft beers on tap, mostly California, and a selection of popular brews in bottles, as well as a full bar and what appeared to be a pretty decent wine list. Happy hour is 3-6 weekdays. We had a little trouble figuring out where to sit since there was no greeter on duty at 5PM on Saturday, but we got noticed and seated fairly quickly. Our server Ben was attentive without hovering. He was right there when I needed another beer. I had the Eagle Rock Solidarity Stout, a smooth dark with a well-developed creamy head. My partner drank the Bear Republic Racer 5 IPA. Dinner entrees were creative without being weird. I had the short rib braised in Newcastle and Guinness. It fell apart with a fork and was not a bit fatty. It was served on a bed of cheddar grits, but Ben said I could request Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes if I preferred them. The Green Apple Horseradish was assertive without being too hot for my taste, but something to consider if you don't care for that condiment. My partner had the Chicken Schnitzel, beautifully presented under a bed of tricolor salad with pickled red onion and a lemon-caper vinaigrette. The schnitzel was prefect, crunchy coated, but not dry, and definitely not greasy. One really nice touch is that diners choose their own sides from a list of six items. Entrees are modestly priced, with most below $20. Breakfast was equally good next morning, with another pair of attentive servers working our part of the room. The buffet offered plenty of different items to choose from and had a staffed omelet / eggs to order station in addition to the french toast, scrambled eggs and steel cut oatmeal in chafing dishes. A full breakfast menu is also available.

I learned there's something special called Cezarac in american cocktail history from here. Their burgers are top class.

The happy hour menu was great with several appetizers and drink special, and our waiter was very attentive.

This is in the Doubletree hotel in downtown LA. We ate in the lobby bar, which is supplied by the Justice Tavern in the hotel. We wanted to eat in to watch the football game. Bar serving staff was very accommodating, and the hamburgers were delicious.

Since I am checked in the Doubletree for 3 nights , this is where I had my daily buffet breakfast . The selection is mostly American , with some touch of Japanese because of the presence of steamed rice , miso soup and seaweeds . It should be noted that the restaurant is located in the Little Tokyo district . Choices are not that extensive , but the food tastes good . Liked the sausages , crispy bacon , justice fries and the pastries . I also liked the daily omelette whipped up by the lady chef who is jovial as well . I was the one who asked for mayonnaise as well from her if she reads this . A little drawback was that they hardly change their selection , just rotating the pancake from the French toast. Special thank you for the servers who kept refilling my drinks and doing removal of our consumed plates .

They have a mediocre breakfast buffet that cost me $29 to eat at with tip. The food was passable but unexciting. They did have a decent assortment of fresh fruit. I would think it would be more of a $12 buffet than a $25 one. Service was solid. There just wasn't much bang for the buck.

This is a pub style restaurant that serves the Hilton double tree hotel in little Tokyo. Ordered delicious breakfasts from here every morning had the havarti spinach omelette and room service dinner had the BBQ ribs and fish and chips. All very good and very tasty. Tried the lamb burger but ask for it to be cooked medium to medium well and ask for extra sauce for more flavour. Never ate in the restaurant only in the hotel room and did not disappoint.

For a restaurant serving a hotel, my expectations were not high, but my family enjoyed all the meals served and the relaxed atmosphere. It could get a little loud.

nice location to drink a tasty beer! we just used their happy hour which is from 3-6 pm. friendly staff, confortable seats andgood music.

Good food, good/attentive service. Atmosphere for after work with friend for drinks and conversation.

Was a bit surprised to see the price for the breakfast buffet. $53++ for two. Seems high to me. We did not come back for lunch or dinner as there were better options in the immediate area of the hotel. You are in exciting Little Tokyo.

Forced to eat here due to lack of options outside hotel. Went through menu looking for healthy options, not much luck. Few salads did not look inspiring. Only chicken option was in excess of $30. Ordered flat bread pizza and fries. Flat bread was horrible, with a cardboard texture and the American cheese on it was tough and tasteless. Fries were very good however.

Amazing service. The mahi mahi ceviche was a tasty starter. We enjoyed the fish and chips for dinner. Flaky and fresh, it was delicious. Great beer menu, with low key atmosphere, delicious food, and great service for the business traveller. Will be back.

This restaurant is integrated in the Doubletree Los Angeles Downtown. They serve breakfast, lunch and dinner - I have only tried the dinner option. My first try was the Mediterranean Lamb Burger and I liked it a lot. The burger itself was nice and juicy and the sides worked really well with it. My second dinner there was the Black Bean Chipotle Burger. It was a bit disappointing compared to the lamb - nice enough, but not as juicy and delicious as the Lamb Burger.

Caught Happy Hour here on a Thursday night. Quiet when we got there at 3, and had a nice meal, my husband had the salmon salad and he was very pleased. Salmon was cooked perfectly and the dressing on the salad was flavorful. I had the burger and it was good. Cold craft beer at happy our prices. Service was good and the server was personable. Do check it out!

The dinner was amazing here, and the service during the busy Thursday night football shift was impeccable. Not only did my food come out quickly, but the server who was swamped, was attentive, and engaging during the time I was there. Even if you are not a guest of the Doubletree hotel (where the tavern is attached to) make it a point to go in and check it out... it is worth it!

Had the elotes and margherita flatbread. Delicious! The lime juice, chili powder and cotija cheese flavored the grilled corn perfectly. The flatbread margherita was just the right size, had lots of basil, tomatoes and cheese grilled to the proper temperature and thin crust. Don't miss it!

i am usually a very positive person as you can see from my reviews however my visit to this place proved to be a mistake, food was average but mainly service was below average as I was barely assisted while seating. I saw the waiter twice, once to take my order and once to get the bill! As indifferent as you could be! Not worth the visit even if you are starving!

Had a plate of beer battered Fish and chips and a pint of Cider, very English West Country and surprisingly tasty. Service good and waitress pleasant and friendly. Serrvice charge is added to your bill.

This has to be one of my favorite restaurants for when I stay in Little Tokyo for business over the last year. The chef rotates the menu occasionally and the burger and elote are one my favorites. As I'm on an expense account, I'm not too sensitive to price but I demand high quality and delicious food. Being able to charge to my room at DoubleTree is a benefit as it makes it easier for expense reports. With traveling over 200 nights a year, I can say confidently that there are few hotel bars/restaurants that come close to the quality, taste, and selection of California beers on tap that Justice provides. The outdoor patio is nice but it was hot in June.

Tasty offerings and freindly staff help make it a place to relax. The spinach side dish is to die for. The mac & cheese has a BBQ potato chip topping which is very tasty. Stiff and tasty adult beverages make this a great place.

We had dessert in this late-open hostelry when most others had closed for the night. In the balmy night sat outside and our order arrived without waiting. Perusing the drinks menu we followed up with a shot of Angel’s Envy bourbon. And very smooth it was. With the grand ambiance plus the engaging server, it was a great curtain-closer to the day.

As a foodie, I am always looking for a meal that is pleasing to my palate. I was staying in the adjoining hotel and decided to skip Flemings and venture downstairs for dinner. I ordered the little gem salad, New York steak with broccolini and smashed potatoes. Everything was fabulous. Although the plating is not too important to me, the presentation was an excellent representation of how well the food was prepared. My waitress was attentive, however there was a delay in obtaining my salad. She compensated me nicely for the misstep. The decor and ambiance was aesthetically pleasing. I will be returning.

I was skeptical of the restaurant in the Doubletree but the meal and service were great. I was brave and ordered the filet and it was good as any steakhouse. The bar was nice and had a great local beer selection.

Great service, great restaurant in a hotel. Good selection of wines and spirits. Good special. Kudos to Paul for his management and oversight of this establishment. Close to courts, City Hall and County Buildings. Always a special. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

The Justice Urban Tavern is located in the DoubleTree in downtown L.A. It is a sports bar, but the food is not your standard sports bar fare. They offer healthy options in addition to some of the more traditional sports bar offerings. It's a great place to grab a relaxing meal after a day of conferences.

The food is great (assuming your server gets the order correct and on-time). A really nice variety of eating healthy or pigging out on pub food. However, the staff was dismissive and did not pay attention to the easiest of details (like delivering your food without providing utensils or napkins, forgetting the lemon in the water, and forgetting entire entree orders) - this was my experience regardless of whether I was trying to get breakfast, lunch or dinner. The server at the bar, which was only half full, walked by me a half dozen times and completely ignored me during breakfast, so I wound up going to the Starbucks next door. On a side note, the food is fantastic when they finally bring it to you, but you better not be in a rush and you should definitely expect to be treated like a second-class citizen.

This restaurant is part of the Doubletree complex. The hours vary and, when not busy, it may close early. Menu is limited, not really a good variety. I noticed some diners split portions. For me, I had a chicken sandwich dinner. Not so crazy about the chicken, but the fries were good. And I only ate here because I was staying in the hotel which is in the Little Tokyo neighborhood. I already had my fill of Asian food, so here I was choosing one of the few options for American style eats. So it's not a place I would frequent more regularly. There is a bar, but so too in the hotel lobby. Why pay two barkeeps? You'll see what I mean.

Justice had a chilled out vibe. The staff were very friendly. It was reasonably priced and the burgers were delicious. We went back a few days later before we checked out of hotel and had breakfast. I was a little disappointed in my omelette as the ingredients were not cooked into it they were just folded between the egg. Everyone else at our table loved their food and it all looked great.

Urban Tavern is probably a synonym for gastropub. They have tator tots and good beer on draft. The star of the show was the cocktails for me though. Really delicious standard and original cocktails at around $10-12. Was there on the weekend, so I did not experience Happy Hour. Service was very good.

Great service from the breakfast staff!!!! Evening a bit slower. Great food and atmosphere. Breakfast a bit pricey

After arriving at the adjacent DoubleTree hotel a couple of hours beforehand, this restaurant proved to be a convenient place to grab some dinner. Our wait staff were friendly and helpful in pointing out the preferred dishes, and the food we received was tasty and good value for money. My only disappointment was that the outdoor seating area was closed due to a private function, but the interior was well air conditioned and comfortable.

This is part of the Doubletree by Hilton, downtown LA where we were staying. Only used it in the morning but the buffet breakfast had an extensive choice, was very well prepared and was excellent value. No reason to doubt the evening menu either. Highly recommended.

The food was really tasty and got to us really quickly! The staff were really helpful and polite and delivered a more than professional and friendly service.

This restaurant is at the Doubletree hotel Downtown on the edge of little Tokyo. Not much else around this area, so travelers have few choices between here and sushi. What a pleasant surprise to find every meal ordered (3 in all) was just delicious! The sandwiches were fresh and bread seemed like homemade. Salad greens were always crisp and fresh. After the first lunch, I looked forward to the next meal there. The only reason I didn't give it 4 stars is that it really is a bar atmosphere, which may not be what you want for dinners.

Stayed at the doubletree for a couple of nights so we eat here most of the time. Food and service was superb and was generally good value for money

We arrived late at night and hungry. The menu had plenty to offer. The bar had a good selection of beers. Good food, good beer, and a pleasant space to spend some time. It all works -

Had wonderful lunch, grilled cod sandwich with 2 big piecess of perfectly cooked cod on homemade brioche bun. roasted tomatoes, homemade pickles, cole slaw and choice of salad or fries. I chose the salad, fresh baby greens and cukes, tomatoes with excellent blue cheese dressing. All for 12 dollars including drink. They have an unlimited mimosa deal as well. Also 3 course lunch with a drink (alcoholic) of choice for $20

Visited this gastropub as it was located on the ground floor of the hotel i was staying in. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, although due to the sweltering heat we opted to sit indoors. The indoor seating is pretty spacious. We ordered a couple of burgers. The vegetarian Bean Burger tasted ok and so did the Crab Cake Sandwich. The service was a bit slow, inspite of the fact that the restaurant was almost empty. An average experience.

Food not that great. Average fare for the downtown price. This is based inside of the hotel we stayed at, so otherwise it would have been skipped. Tucked away in the corner of the hotel, it could have potential if a better menu were thought out or the quality of the fare.

Had the skirt steak. Had a chimchurri sauce that had some real kick. Shrimp cocktail was good. Had to remove shells (no big deal). Would have appreciated real seafood sauce instead of what they provided. Place was real quite when I was there.

If you are staying at the Double Tree Downtown (Little Tokyo), this isn't a bad spot for breakfast or happy hour. For Happy Hour, this is typical of a hotel-based bar/grill. It is a little nicer than most, nice decor and a very cool view out onto the streets and of the Los Angeles City Hall. Service was great, courteous and attentive. The Happy Hour prices are good, but top shelf will cost you ($14 for a shot of Gentleman Jack!). The place is quiet enough for some good business conversation, or even some quiet evening conversation with your date. Proximity to Little Tokyo and the rest of DTLA is ideal, and this is a good respite if you need a break from the noise. Parking: Well, this IS DTLA. Best convenience is the Doubletree Parking garage underneath the building. There are some public lots locally, but I don't see Justice Urban Tavern as a destination that you'd want to drive to.

A part of the Double Tree by Hilton Downtown Los Angeles. Sports bar type environment. Open for breakfast (buffet), lunch and diner. Located near the courthouse downtown.

strange layout with multiple levels-was formerly part of New Otani restaurant with "western/bar decore added.

Surpising goumet edge with very reasonable prices. Ate breakfast, lunch and dinner and all were very appetizing. While the menu is somewhat limited, no one should find themselves having to settle for a meal that is not tasty.

We ate breakfast 3 days here. The granola with fruit and yogurt is a healthy choice. Five of us ate dinner here. All the meals were good. The gnocchi was very good! Strangely, an 18% automatic service charge was added to the bill, for "large parties". On the menu it was stated that a "large party" was 6 or more. Oh well, we were happy... we might have given 20%...

We didn't arrive till late the bar was still open but seemed put out that we showed up. They would rather visit among themselves than wait on paying customers, this happen 2 nights in a row.

We've been here before and weren't impressed. This time, the food and service were both better. Overall, I'd eat here again. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf (which was great); husband had the steak (which was eh - okay - way overpriced). Wouldn't order the steak again.

We had frequented this restaurant mostly during the day, as it is in the middle of the Main Street downtown Los Angeles, across from police buildings, City Hall, and Little Tokyo theatres and attractions. After hours in the evening the dynamic changes quite a bit...the workaday crowds disperse and local denizens come out. Quite interesting to sit out on the patio ( downtown is cool in the evenings, even if the summer day was blazing hot) and watch the urban skateboarders learn their tricks through trial and error in the adjacent Starbucks/ fountain/ open small plaza. The homeless pretty much stick to the seating on the far side, and Starbucks traffic supplies bicycle riding loft dwellers, tourists and the like. This location would have five stars, but the food pricing is high ($20 and more entrees....) but the service is impeccable, friendly and pleasant. Extensive wine and beer list, along with craft cocktails ( some a bit too crafty-- keep the beets our of my liquor please). The pressed chicken was moist and flavorful ( chimichurri sauce had a kick), and the accompanying sweet potato wedges and corn on the cob were fabulous ( of course, anything slathered in butter and cream and salt is fabulous). There is of course plenty of inside dining ( surprisingly the AC made in Artic like on this summer eve, so headed outdoors). There were plenty of outside tables and chairs, and rock like clusters with cushions on which to perch, drink and watch the sidewalk show of passersby.

This is a perfect place for either a business lunch or after work get together. The food looked great and certainly my pastrami sandwich was a good value and very tasty.

We ate dinner and breakfast at Justice as hotel guests. The menu has quite a few selections for dinner and the breakfast menu and buffet were also good. Both meals were good and reasonably priced for a downtown hotel restaurant. If you are looking for convenience, good food at a reasonable price, this is a solid pick.

This restaurant is next to a Doubletree Hotel which will validate your parking if you attend an event or eat or drink there. It is at a lobby level next to the street. If your event is on the patio, people who walk or drive by, will see you. The food is ok.

The food surprisingly was good for a hotel restaurant. Daily happy hour with reasonable prices. Friendly bartenders. Kyle was very helpful. the only downside is uncomfortable bar stools

The bartenders were pretty good. The food was okay. I ate there 3 times during my stay and had the fish, burger and meatloaf. All pretty good, but I enjoyed the bacon-wrapped meatloaf the most.

Great breakfast menu, reasonably priced. Fast service, friendly wait staff. Plenty of seating. Can get your thermos of coffee filled of on the road!

Have been here three times, twice for birthday celebration lunches with co-workers. The menu is good and the food tasty. The waitress is very efficient and friendly enough. Another time for drinks after work with co-workers. I have ZERO complaints about this place.

Perfect cocktails - great food. The staff id great and the menu - both drinks and food is very good. Recommend this spot if you are in the area.

So I arrived late and the restaurant was attached to the hotel (Doubletree). Stopped in for a late bite, just before they closed the dining service. Ordered the meatloaf, seemed interesting but safe enough...wrong!! after my meal, I walked to my room, but by the time I got there I was in serious trouble, then spent the rest of the night visiting the porcelain. I am not a drinker, so I didn't even have a wine with dinner. Called the restaurant manager, but got shunted to a VM, and never got a callback. The server was nice, but the food obviously was bad.

I ate here as part of Hilton Honors' breakfast. I was very impressed. Great hot buffet including omelette. Fresh fruit, yogurt, cottage cheese. Meats and eggs and breads galore. The people working were very nice and helpful, despite that I arrived minutes before breakfast stopped being served.

It was ok but watch happy hour, 3-6 pm for what's buy one get one freel food inconsistent in wuslity although wait time was not long.

Not impressed with the food, drinks or the waitress. Thought we would try it on our last day for lunch, major disappointment. We noticed that the bartender apologized to two other people that had the same waitress we did. Not sure if it was just a bad day for the restaurant or if its the usual.

This restaurant was great for our needs! The food was great, we enjoy it! The staff were super helpful efficient and effective.

This restaurant is located in the DoubleTree Downtown LA hotel where we were we stayed while on vacation. The package I booked included breakfast buffet every morning for two adults. We stayed there for 5 days and every morning we started our day with such an Amazing Manager & Staff. They made us feel like family on our first visit, so you know we were truly like family by our last visit. We promised to see them again next year when we return again for the same event. We also plan to stay at the hotel cause it's Great, but also because of this restaurant! The breakfast buffet was perfect each morning. Not too much and not to little. Just perfect! There's an omelet station that you could even ask for easy over eggs to be made. The best part was that it had rice, which is a big thing for us coming from Hawaii. But I guess because it's near Japanese Town, there were other asian food offered like miso soup, etc. We loved talking stories with the staff. They were so warm and full of "aloha" We ordered room service two nights. First night, we ordered a Ribeye Steak plate and Caesar Salad. Gosh! it was Sooo Delicious!! The portions were really a good size too. Second night, we ordered a Cobb Salad, Flat Bread Margherita Pizza, Bacon Cheeseburger & Fries. Wow!!! Super Yummy. And again, portions sizes were Generous! Also, both times, it got to our room within 30 minutes and the food was hot! Again, the prices for room-service was so reasonable, especially for the Ribeye Steak!!! And it was cooked perfect like how I ordered it- medium rare!!! We didn't get a chance to have lunch or sit down dinner at the restaurant, but I'm sure everything was probably Delicious and at a reasonable price.

Had three meals here in three days and they were all really good. Spent the first half of the super bowl in the bar and ordered a burger. Burger was overcooked but the bartender took care of me right away and I had another one in just a few minutes Great flavor, tons of fries. Not a huge crowd for the game-but several Eagles fans decked out. Had breakfast twice, one the buffet line, second day blueberry waffles. Buffet line was good-lots of fruit. Blueberry waffle was outstanding, lots of fresh fruit. Great staff here, very attentive without hovering, very friendly.

We thought this was part of our hotel, it can be reached via the Doubletree Hilton, and were really pleased it was there. It is an oasis in a really barren area in terms of bars or restaurants. It isn't spectacular but the food and service is good.

We ate breakfast here several times and it really set us up for the day. The staff couldn't be nicer or more helpful.

This bar/restaurant is situated within The doubletree by Hilton. Ideal for a weary traveller just arrived after a long flight. We only drank here but food looks good that came to other tables. Friendly staff. Nice cold beers. Sports on tv to amuse you. Decent size outdoor area also was a great bonus.

The breakfast is excellent with a large variety of foods but at dinner time the bar becomes extremely crowded so you can hear yourself breath.

Breakfast buffet has a wide selection. One can also order customize omelet. For dinner, the LAPD burger is really tasty if one is in the mood for a burger. Calamari is decent. The lobster roll is so so. However the fish and chips is done very well. We dined in one evening and called room service (this is a Doubletree restaurant) and we have our dinner in less than 20 minutes. Overall it is a decent hotel restaurant.

If there is justice it is definitely served at this cool tavern. The food was amazing as well as the artwork and fun decor throughout the restaurant. You must order one of the flat bread appetizers. I'm definitely coming back and I definitely have to try the fun named cocktails.

Tavern is located in the Doubletree Los Angeles Hotel and stopped in for snacks and drinks after a Dodgers game and a concert. Staff is friendly, food is good and nice selection of beers.

We stayed at the Doubletree and loved the proximity of this restaurant. The fresh fruit plate was a great healthy option for breakfast and the buffet was also delicious. The service is fabulous and we felt very at home here!

A coffee shop/cafe for the Doubletree Hotel, nothing inspiring - breakfast is only buffet or expensive muffin - breakfast bar is average. Lunch and dinner menus - small but ok

The restaurant is located on the first floor of the Double Tree Hotel. Paid self parking is located in the lower levels of the hotel. There is a $5.00 charge for parking with a validation from the restaurant. The validation must be delivered to the front desk for another verification if not you will be charged $10.00 for parking. The restaurant is open for all three meals everyday. We were seated as soon as we arrived The service was very good. The lunch menu was about two pages.Very good selection of dishes from light meal to a full meal. Everyone enjoyed their meals.

The host, servers and cook at the omelette station was fabulous. The restaurant had a variety of food, expanded menu and served not only brunch.

Found this restaurant in a guide and my friends and I figured we would give it a try. So glad we did. We ordered chicken wings to start along with calamari, to go with our adventuresome cocktails. Very satisfactory. Helped along on all our decisions by a fun and capable server, Travis, I think. I had the ample fish and chips -- great dish, well prepared. My three friends all finished their entrees with plenty of smiles. A very good experience.

Sit at the bar. Josh is great - personable, helpful, and welcoming. The food was good - better than anything I've had a reasonably-priced restaurant attached to a hotel in a long time. I had the brick chicken, which was a great value and great tasting. The beer selection was great too, which is typically an oxymoron in California during my trips. I'd go back again.

Good food, good service in a convenient location. We were staying in the hotel, but I'd go back even if not a guest. Good burger and terrific breakfasts.

Convenient, very nice atmosphere. Really, really good chicken wings and roasted cauliflower appetizers!
Amazing Breakfast..
We got an amazing bargain for buffet breakfast here. The spread was good with a variety of fresh fruits and juices. and made to order eggs.
