Take Out

By Boots |

Seth, Manager at K-Town Korean BBQ warmly welcomed me as I entered K-Town. He was friendly, courteous, and helpful. Seth assisted me in selecting an order for a party of 3. I appreciated Seth’s knowledge and selections he had suggested. Which turn out to be our family favorites. Seth was also extremely patient amidst all of the bustle of keeping customers and employees happy and motivated. Great customer service experience. I will definitely be back again. All of the Staff were friendly and making sure that I was taken care of the whole time. Ordered Jab Chae, Bulgogi, Spicy Soup with Shredded Beef, and Pork Katsu. Rice accompanied every dish and a side of Napa Kim Chee and a side of daikon Kim Chee. All fresh and Delicious!

So good and yummy foods.

Thin Pork Belly!

By pabonaross24 |

All you can eat Korean Barbecue. If you love meat- this is where you go! My favorite is the thin pork belly and beef bulgogi. This place is fun and enjoyable with group of friends and or family. I been here more than 5x because it's worth it. Love their staff- very friendly!

Better than average

We were a group of 8 adults on a Sunday night. The wait was about an hour. Service is painfully slow. We watched someone clean a table and took them over 15mins. The food is delicious though, so I’d probably go again anyway. We didn’t get the all you can eat. We wanted particular cuts of meat and seafood and it was all fresh and delicious. Dinner and drinks for 7, soda for 1, total was $225. Not bad at all. It was a lot of food, we even had leftovers.

Nice Find in Portland Or

We’ve been looking for a good Korean BBQ restaurant where we can grill by ourselves and we were pleased with the quality of our lunch, great service, nice ambiance, and reasonably priced. Will go again with family and friends!

Tons of fun

We had a great time cooking meat together and chatting. The spicy pork was amazing! If you’re in the area be sure to stop in and take part in the fun.

Pleasantly Surprised

We had a large group and thankfully got there early (5:30) because it filled up fast. We all choose the same "all you can eat"option and was not disappointed. It was fun to interact and cook our own the way we liked it. On the down side, if you don't like meat and/or wanted to order something else, you could not.....it was all you can eat or everyone order individually. My partner ended paying a lot of money for rice and salad. One warning the $15 Soju cocktails are potent. They tell you there is a bottle of soju in each cocktail, but if you don't realize the alcohol content, it can be surprising. Over-all I am looking forward to going back.

Decent Food - Not Worth The Grief

By noworries2000 |

Rules, rules, rules - if you are going to eat here, make sure you know all of the rules in advance or you are in for one miserable dining experience. The food is OK, not great, but OK - most people opt for the "all-you-can-eat" option but I suspect they neglect to read the full length disclaimer at the front door about what you can order and what you can't under the "AYCE" rules. Some decent meats and vegetables - mostly plain - I was hoping for some spicy marinades, but no such luck; so you are basically grilling various thinly sliced cuts of meat which require some dipping sauces on the side to provide any flavor. Should you decide to order more, your AYCE additions will be closely scrutinized by the owner who may or may not allow you to have seconds, depending on whether she decides if you have had enough already or not. After our initial order came out, we were told we could not order more meat for a while - that we had already had enough. We ate politely, were not pigs, did not over-indulge at all, but frankly the couple of small pieces of meat she allowed us to have under her "AYCE" rules were about the equivalent of a 3 oz steak each - we pressured her and she eventually agreed to bring out more if we agreed to eat more rice and vegetables. Won't go back - the waiters and waitresses, seem to be used to the Korean owner patrolling each table and deciding who can order more and who can't. They seemed pretty embarrassed by her behavior. The place has some limited beer ad wine options to go with your meal, and the usual Korean side dishes to fill up on instead of their precious grilled meat, Not sure how this place has styed in business, but just avoid it - NOT WORTH THE GRIEF!

Affordable and the best!

This is our first time to try a Korean BBq restaurant here in the UK most of the restaurants we have tried are in the US. The restaurant is located in New Malden which is a bit outside of London, the resto was busy with a que outside, for me thats a sign of good food combined with good customer service. We are 6 altogether with my family and friends since we were late with our booked reservation we have to wait 45 minutes for a table that would fit us altogether, which is fair enough so we decided to browse the area and check out some of the korean grocery shops nearby. The owner/ reception gentleman rang us when our table was ready, and it was really all worth the wait. They have different variations of meats that are marinated as well as seafood that you can grill on top.of your table, their glass noodles on the buffet spread was tasty and you can have whatever korean condiments you want along with your grilled meat, there is a mini sushi bar as well but I wasnt able to try it since I was already full with the grilled meats. Overall this place is highly recommended for those who want to try a tasty affordable Korean BBQ!

Fun and plentiful meal!

Great place, i love Korean bbq concept. This one is new, the meats are good. Veggie side dishes option are excellent. There is some nice sushi as well. The only thing they are missing is a Sauce station! They need Satay sauce, Plum sauce, spring onions, fresh cut herbs, more soy sauce available. I will come back! I left a video on youtube of my visit if you want to see it search for : We tried K Town - All you can eat Korean BBQ in London. thanks.

Tasty and affordable

Not only was the food good but Kpop videos are playing in the restaurant. KTown's vibe is very casual and laid back. the bbq was yummy. It was flavorful with a bit of spice. The bibimbap and the rice bowl were both very good. We will be back.

Fun all you can eat Korean BBQ

This place was very approachable for those who don't understand Korean BBQ. The waiter was friendly and the menu laid out well. It was a bit noisy and the wait can be long if you come during peak times.

Lots of meat, lots of fun!

Our family (made up of young adults and we, the parents) has been to K-Town a few times. Sizzle your own food at your table. The service and food are good, staff is friendly and helpful, the vibe is lively, and the K-Pop is fun. Everyone at our table purchases the all-you-can-eat, and the manager has allowed me to deviate from the rule of the entire table purchasing this option, as I am a vegan. The restaurant fills up quickly, so be prepared! It is a fun place for a group. There are usually 8 to 10 of us when we have gone.

Great Korean BBQ

By hmariecj |

Went here for dinner with my family and it was great! Service was friendly. It was pretty busy, but the server kept up with our table well. We did one of the All You Can Eat option, PLENTY of BBQ meats and veggies to make you satisfied. They have a few different AYCE options and the staff explains everything once you're seated. They do have rules, everyone at the table must order from the same menu and you may get charged for too many leftovers. The rules are explained by the server when you are seated and also written on the wall once you walk in. We'll be back for more hopefully soon!

Fun With Friends

This is a fun night out with friends. The bbq is authentic and you cook it at your table. The flavors were delightful and great service.

Lots of Choices

By KNBBrewster |

The grill in the table was new to me, but fun. I can't imagine dining with kids here. It takes some coordination with the grill in the middle of the table, but the selections on the all you can eat menu were good. It took a minute to figure out how to order with 6 of us at the table, but once we got the hang of it...fun! Huddling around the table and cooking together, conversation flows, lots of laughter, everyone is engaged. Liked it very much. Definitely do this again.

Owner said holding my order because...

By Claire Y |

3 of us went and order $24.99p/p set over $19.99p/p set because for 5bucks extra you get to order kal be ( thin slice of beef short rib) said the server he also mentioned first round we have to order 4 kind of meat so we did. Only 2 slices of kalbe was included along with 4 slices pork belly few rolled brisket and some marinated beef pieces for 3 people. When we asked server for more kalbe(we did not like the other meat) they said only 2 at a time, that is OK we thought since this is "all you can eat" we will order more( I was wrong ) after bring total of 9 slices( 2 slices at a time 5th time came only 1 slice, 3of them with fat and bone no meat)We were waiting for 25 minutes of our next kalbe, a Korean women, owner may be she did not introduced herself properly, came to our table with very unhappy face said she is HOLDING our order because 1.she is not making money if we order any more kalbe cause it cost her over $8 a pound 2.we had over our limits, their limit is 4 round ( when I read reviews from yelp I thought this gotta be mistake or misinterpretation of reviewer but it was true( sorry yelper I believe you) 3. It is their policy all written on the menu that we have to order four kinds of meat EVERY time for up to four times not just kal be alone. She brings the menu open on the policy section of it and pointing her finger at "4". I am sorry readers I am not a native speaker but can you see It reads "A maximum of 4 items maybe ordered ...." does not limit to 4th round. When server took our first order he mentioned we have to choose 4 kind of meat so we did. I have never been treated like this in the restaurant before. She visited to our table 2 more times and told us AGAIN about how everything is expensive so she is not making money, I should be thankful that K town bbq is here and where in Portland I will be able to find all you can eat korean bbq for only $25 it is OK if I don't want to come back. After all this why should I go? I am not going back for sure. Many review said about slow service, I think I know why. Owner is holding your order when SHE thinks you ordering too much too often at her restaurant.

All you can eat barbecue heaven

By 7Brian A |

. Warning, one plate of four generous entrees is more than enough for two if us, but you can order more. Tasty side dishes, also all you can eat, and veggies to grill as well. Beautiful modern decor. Friendly staff. I will come back to Korean town.

Mmmmm Good Korean BBQ

By Mary D |

To die for food for you to cook that is beautifully and efficiently presented by the wait staff. The environment is somewhat industrial, but not overly noisy. Seating is comfortable. The waitstaff is attentive, frequently changing the grill, topping off the water, checking to see if you want more food to prepare or want condiment dishes re-supplied. This is a happy place that is a great experience and reasonably priced. Do plan on dining here, I think you'll like what you find.

Very good Korean Barbecue!

By Rebecca B |

We brought family visiting from out of state for the all-you-can-eat grill at your table, and it was wonderful! The sides were just okay, not impressive (they were out of potatoes), but the proteins were outstanding. The server (Richard) was slow, and we had to wait far too long for refills on our drinks and food. He also forgot to bring our soup and did not comp us for it on the bill. The tables are rectangular, and unless you get a booth you may have to share your table with another party. The grills at these tables are not easily accessed by all diners because they are not positioned well, so I recommend trying to get a booth if possible. The sign for the bathrooms showed a man peeking over the wall into the women’s bathroom, I assume an attempt at humor?

Quality of meat not very good, service was average

By leejero |

Waited a while before we got seated. They didn't even acknowledge us when we got there. Got the all you can eat BBQ here. Quality of the meat is not very good. The meats were all seasoned the same, so the different cuts of meat tasted similar. Price was expensive for what we got. You can eat a lot of mediocre meat. The veggies were good, but you don't want to pay to eat veggies. Side dishes were average at best. Bean paste soup was watered down and not tasty, and the egg was not very tasty. We will not go back here again.

Great Korean Food

Had dinner at K-Town Korean BBQ with a couple of friends. The service was prompt & efficient. We had a variety of tasty kimchi dishes, fresh lettuce, & chicken & beef BBQ which was heavenly. Place needs a better exhaust system though as the cooking smells stick to clothes & hair.

All you can eat Korean bbq

good place for a Korean bbq buffet at reasonable price! Make sure to order next items before your dishes empty because it can take a while for them to be served when the place is busy.

The All You Can Eat Option is the Best Option!

I visited with two other adults and a toddler, and it was a great experience overall. Customer Service: Their customer service is a 4.5/5. The only reason why I can't give a 5/5 is because the restaurant was not busy, at all, but I couldn't find a single waitstaff for several minutes. Location/Ambiance: The parking lot is moderately-sized, especially since they share it with other businesses. We visited during non-peak hours, so the lot wasn't packed. Food and Pricing: We ordered AYCE (lunch), which was priced well. When it comes to taste, the ones I tasted were decent Dining with Children Comments: AYCE pricing is great for those with children. I do, however, feel the need to warn parents with children who tend to or simply do not fully comprehend what "STOP" or "DON'T TOUCH..." means. This is not a place for children who are not very well-behaved. They might learn their lesson the hard way. I highly recommend visiting during non-peak hours to fully enjoy the place. I
