Bring home the bacon!

By Toni F |

Food and service were awesome! They have a nice outdoor area and great beer choices. This is a great place to hit before an event at the United Center. It is only about a 5 minute walk AND they take reservations which helps when you are eating before a show or sporting event. They also had a shuttle to the UC which was very handy.

Fun outisde patio, Schnitzel sandwich was good

By ORD-TGU |

We had heard the outside patio was really social. There is a games section, plenty of communal picnic benches and chairs. It can get loud, busy and fun. I tried the Schnitzel sandwich and it was good, only disappointing thing is that it does not come with fries or a side.

A good addition to the Randolph St restaurant scene

By cmm218 |

Beer, bacon and brats. If you like all those things (especially in the same dish) then I'd come here. Went there for the first time to celebrate my brother's birthday - he is a beer aficionado and was shocked that I had found a place in Chicago that neither he nor his friends had heard about. The beer menu was good, in my brother's opinion, and everyone enjoyed their food. There were three men in my group and they ordered the Whole Bomb (basically a giant ball of meat wrapped in bacon). They recommend this dish for 6 to 8 people - they were about right because they only finished half of it. So yes, 6 VERY hungry people or 8 people with decent appetites. The rest of us ordered burgers (thumbs up) and brats (pretty good, depending on which one you get and how adventurous you are with condiments). Overall everyone had a great time and we enjoyed our food. The dessert surprised us all! Since it was my brother's birthday I had them bring out their bacon bread pudding and beer battered cheesecake (my expectations weren't that high for dessert at a bacon and brat joint). The dessert was excellent. Some people were a bit weirded out by the bacon in the bread pudding, but if you are in to mixing your sweets and savories, you'd love it. The bourbon sauce was perfect. The beer battered cheesecake was a unanimous favorite and we regretted only ordering one for the table. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The server put a candle on the desserts for my brother and he started us off singing happy birthday! Prices are typical for Chicago but I didn't think they were exorbitant (for example, the Whole Bomb was $70 and included a large plate of fries with three dipping sauces and everything you need to make a sandwich with all the toppings- so if you have 8 people that's under $10 a person). I think it is a nice addition to the Randolph St restaurant scene. I will be going back and my brother will be taking his band of foodie friends there.

Ask for a shot of Malort

By Chris W |

Had a host take us to Kaiser Tiger just for:the Malort. Oh snap, this stuff is worse than white lightning or jaggermeister . It will light you up. Kinda of a cool dive bar. Food was decent.

Amazing Fries, Fast and Efficient Service w/ Free UC Shuttle

By ChicagoChristopher |

Food was good. We had several of the sausage sandwiches all very tasty. We had bacon wrapped dates as an app, also delicious. The large order of fries was HUGE and all the fries were very well cooked -- highly recommend everything. Service was (very) fast and efficient which was appreciated as we were pre-concert at United Center. The free shuttle service to UC was also very much appreciated, especially given it was 7F outside.

Not the menu that's on their website!! Slow service.

By fuller_jay |

We dined at Kaiser Tiger before a Blackhawks game with our two teenage boys. My kids are fairly picky so I checked the menu before I made the reservation. I found a couple of things I knew they would enjoy and I was looking forward to having the Belgian Carbonade. We sat down and were handed a menu that did not list many of the items they have on their online menu. In particular the Carbonade I was so looking forward to, and of course some of the items I had earmarked for my kids. I asked about the Carbonade and was told that "someone must have jumped the gun" as that was not yet available. Not yet available? It has been listed on their website since they opened. I asked about Pretzels and was told they could do those even though they weren't on the menu. Service was very slow. Took along time to order our drinks and even longer to get them. Food came out very slowly and the place was a quarter full. Can't imagine what it would be like on a packed Friday. Food was good, but other issues ruined the experience.

Good food and beer - and CURLING!

By LSUTraveller |

Came here before the Blackhawks game for a bite and a brew. Didn't realize they had curling lanes in the back of the bar (outdoor sitting area in the summer). That was a great experience - especially for those who've never "curled".

So much fun

By Twinsmom99 |

If only the weather was better!!! We sat outside but it was chilly. The beer was great, fries were crisp and delicious, and sauces added an extra yum. Played some bags as well. Will go back in summer!

Good Spot to Pregame or Put in a Session

By Slydog9 |

I’ve been to Kaiser Tiger several times. Each time was way different than the next but all a solid time. A good sized beer garden for warmer months with some games out there. There is also a bar outside on busy days/nights. During colder weather they have a Curling Court. We did not use it because it was 10 degrees out but several people did while they smoked. They have a large selection of beer and the server usually has a good knowledge of what they are like. That’s a bonus in my book. Our most recent time the server was spot on despite it being a busy time for NFL Playoffs and Hawks Pregamers. A nice perk is they offer a free shuttle (tip the driver please) to and from The United Center. Drop offs start about 2 hours before the game and then pick ups mid way through the third period. In bitterly cold days like we had it was the best! For food we tried the fries and dipping sauces and the mini bacon bombs. The fries are cooked well but the 6 sauces they give you are delicious and the reason why you get them. The mini bombs are quite tasty. We could do without the breading on them and let the bacon wrapped meatball stand alone by itself. The place is usually clean including the bathrooms. You can absolutely expect a bunch of Brads/Chads in and out on weekends. The bulk of the patrons are not annoying since this is on the end of Randolph street away from the ultra trendy spots.

Fun Beergarden

Love the varity of beers and the bacon and sausages are nice additions. did some take out pretzels and they are delicious.

Good food and beer before a game at United Center

By Brandon R |

We ate here before we went to the United Center for the Champions Classic. I had the Bomb and it was pretty good. What surprised me was the fries. They have a great selection of beer to choose from and its about a 10-15 minute walk to the United Center.

Schnitzel Sandwich, Beer and Free Blackhawks game Shuttle

By Raerae_Travels |

A friend and I came here prior to a Blackhawks game at the UC for a beer. It was awesome. They have a great beer selection and a full menu of sausages, burgers and German-style food. They also have a curling rink in their beer garden during the Winter months. The staff is friendly, upbeat and attentive. We ordered the Schnitzel sandwich, bacon grenades and two beers, totaling about $40. The food and drinks were amazing. Great stop for a drink and a sandwich, or to watch a Hawks game. The shuttle leaves when asked prior to games, and picks you up from the UC for 30 minutes after the game officially ends. Ed our driver was courteous, friendly and informative of where and when he was going to pick us up after the game. Highly recommend stopping here for some great food.

Great Local American Sport Bar

By Eldiego_colombia |

If you visit USA, you have to live the real American Bar experience. Drink tap beer (Locals beers), eat fast food (Chicken wings, chicken tenders, calamary fried, burgers...), watch a game on a screen and feel the energy of this place. People normally is nice and most of this places are cozy. In this time I went to this place for an Uber driver recommendation. He has a blog named "backseat reviews chicago's restaurants" Check this out on the web!. We decided to go there and was really good and funny. We found a lot of Blackwauks fans watching a game. We eat good food and drink some locals IPA from draughft. Very cozy place...just local people, good location...good prices!

Amazing

By Phil R |

I can describe this place in 3 words: Bacon, Bacon, Bacon! The food her was amazing!!! The staff was really friendly and they had a great selection of craft beers. We will definitely be going back when I am in the windy city!!!

Fun group outing in the winter- curling!

By Pat E |

Company outing for dinner and curling. Everyone enjoyed their dinner- salmon salad, sausages, burgers. Lots of meat on the menu- but if you are not a fan of big meat dishes- try the salmon salad. We enjoy the bacon appetizer- good- but would have been nice if they identified what was what on the platter. If you want to curl, you have to come in at noon to reserve your spot. Wish they would just take reservations- seemed odd I have to come in reserve. Don't expect real curling (broom etc) but it still was fun for everyone.

Great Event Venue

By Diane C |

Converted industrial space. Bar and beer garden downstairs, event room ("Sky Room")upstairs. Attended a wedding in the Sky Room. Back wall is all glass and the view of Chicago skyline is stunning. Classy, intimate and relaxed. Excellent space for 100 people. Staff was very accommodating. The food served was top notch as well. Exposed brick walls, wood floors, long bar and great views.

Move Over Abe Froman

By nabowron1 |

We were looking for a fun place to eat for our weekend trip to Chicago and ran across this gem from an article about unique restaurants in the area. While it was too hot to enjoy the outdoor patio and bocce ball, the food was incredible! We had too many things we wanted to try so we stopped back for lunch on our way out of town. For Friday night dinner, we split a jumbo pretzel and a bacon board. The pretzel was nice and fluffy and came with bacon cheese and delicious homemade beer mustard. It was certainly large enough for a group to share! The bacon board was ridiculously delicious with 4 different types of bacon to try. The pickled cucumbers that came with gave the perfect bright notes to pair with the meat. For Sunday brunch, we tried the Kaiser Royale (basically a double bacon cheeseburger), the cheesy brat, and fries with 6 dipping sauces. The highlight of the burger, of course, was the bacon. The cheesy brat was the best brat I've ever had, hands down, and I live in Wisconsin! The fries were fun to try with the various dipping sauces - our favorites being the garlic aioli and the honey mustard (the sweet honey flavor really comes through). Not only did we pig out (pun intended), the food was fast and the service was friendly. Definitely on our go-to list next time we're in town!

Awesome beer

By Shelliu |

One of the best places in Chicago for beer and meat. House made sausages, the best baton board and bacon wrapped dates on earth and an incredible selection of craft beers. Outside area is great for sunny days or they have a ping pong table and pinball machines. Bartenders are knowledgeable and friendly.

Bartenders not attentive

By Yvonne O |

We had two appetizers, the quesadilla and the fries and both were tasty. The atmosphere was nice and somewhat trendy, however the service at the bar needs improvement. The bartenders don't make alot of eye contact and my husband was sitting there waiting for at least 10 minutes just trying to get their attention to get another beer so after our second beer we left to another bar.

Meat!

By Nathan L |

Wow this place knows how to make some meat. We have brought our customers here a few times and have always had a great meal. We always order the Bacon Wrapped Dates, Meatballs and the Whole Bomb. If you have 8-10 hungry people you can not go wrong with ordering the whole bomb. You will have dreams about this thing and might wake up chewing your pillow. If you have a small group you can order the bomb sandwich but that is not nearly as fun. Show up hungry.

Beer, bacon, and sausage....oh yeah.

By BEW64 |

What a great place. They have a respectable beer selection, lots of space to hang out, and the menu is chalk full of sausage and bacon selections. WHHHHHAAAATTTT! How can you have a bad time with a beer in one hand and a jumbo pretzel in the other? Prost!!!

Food & Fun!

By Carol H |

4 of my friends and I went to Kaiser Tiger for food and an opportunity to do curling. When we walked in, the atmosphere was immediately inviting. We inquired about a time to go outside to curl, and decided to eat dinner first. If you are a meat lover, you will love their menu. If you are a vegetarian, be prepared for limited choices. When we were finished, we headed outside to this fun, winter venue. Little white lights, a fire crackling in their pit, tables and chairs surrounding the icy curling slab. We were quite shocked to hear it was $40 per half hour to play. When I had seen a story on the news about this place, there was no mention of fees involved. However, if you have 4 players, I guess $10 a piece for 30 minutes is manageable. If would be nice if there was some sort of discounts given to diners, since we had already spent money on dinner and drinks. Having said that, it was a ton of fun. The fire pit is great bonus and they even sell S'more kits if you are up for some sweets in the chilly air. So, I would recommend this place....just have the money to pay for the fun!

Left Stranded

By Michael M |

DO NOT TAKE THE SHUTTLE TO THE BLACKHAWKS GAME! They leave you stranded at the United Center. We took the shuttle to the game on 3/9. We asked the driver where we would be picked up and he told us on Wolcatt St. We came right out after the game and only saw the buses of three other bars. We waited fifteen and then called the bar and were told that the bus already came back and "sorry" but we were on our own. We were not late getting back to the bus, after waiting the other buses were still waiting for their patrons. we had to walk the roughly mile and a half through a park at night on the west side of Chicago. I recommend the Hawkeyes bus, they will not leave you.

Expensive

By mlewis1 |

Food might be good, but not a lot of it. Service fine and nice looking restaurant. But it was expensive, sausage/cheese board not much on it for $14. Beer was expensive too.

Warm Reception and Great Food

By Erica J |

Our first day in Chicago this week, we wanted to be able to eat somewhere new that we haven't been to. I am officially a fan of Kaiser Tiger!!! We ended up sharing every single one of their appetizers and fell in love with the poutine. And due to the recommendation of our server, the Pineapple Cider was absolutely out of this world. The atmosphere was great and contemporary. We enjoyed having conversations that we didn't have to yell over music or masses of people trying to get served at the bar. This is definitely one of our favorite places in the city!

Good Food

By Jim R |

After seeing this place on TV, we were not disappointed. They have great apps, we chose the bacon grenades, which were delicious. We also split a Bacon Bomb sandwich and a small fries. The sandwich was very good, and the fresh cut, skins on fries were excellent. Highly recommended, and easy to get to using the "L".

Best craft beer and best place for meat lovers in Chicago

By Shelliu |

Laser Tiger is by far the best destination in Chicago for craft beer and amazing food plus ping pong, pinball and bocce. The house made sausages and bacon are killer and they have over a hundred different styles of beer and sours with some one-of-a-kind collaborations.

Beer, bacon and fresh made sausages

By Shelliu |

What more could you ask for? ... Great beer list, lots of bacon and pork products, fresh-made sausages, friendly service and a chill atmosphere, Kaiser Tiger is perfect. The chorizo sausage with guac and tequila sour cream was amazing. Our second favorite was the bacon wrapped. They also have curling (sort of) on the patio in the winter and bocce when it is warm out ... the prices are way too high but it could be cool with a group.

Stopped on our way to United Center

By islandexplorer |

Fun bar with decent food selection. Winter months they have curling out in the courtyard. Very good selection of beers. Shuttle service to UC for certain events. However, we did walk from here to the UC.

Food, Beer and Service - all great!

By IIMFD |

Great selection of alternative bar food and sausages. Hummus, Pretzels, Sausage - all were great. Extensive beer selection. Attentive service.

You Can’t Go Wrong With Sausage, Bacon 🥓 & Beer 🍺

By Geminstar1 |

The Kaiser Tiger is still an awesome place to visit. The atmosphere is very inviting; with the exposed brick and cherry/oak wood blends from the tables to the floor. There are outside patios in the front of the restaurant and a larger one towards the back of the establishment. There’s plenty of activities available for fun here. The food and drinks are spectacular. This is a true Carnivore’s delight. Let’s just start off with the bacon platter, then combine with the Bomb and ending with the Bacon Bread Pudding!!! To Die For..... Now to be honest I’m not a beer drinker but they have a vast selection in my opinion. Also, my friend drinks beer and he’s never been unsatisfied with their selection. My vice is the beautiful smooth Kettle 1 or Tito’s Vodka with cranberry juice plus I love the Daly Peach which they serve so I’m a happy camper. I’ve been visiting this place since 2015 and I haven’t been disappointed. Depending on the time you plan on visiting there’s free street parking. I never park close to the restaurant because there’s a time limit for parking. I usually find a park two blocks away. This West Loop area is becoming less industrial and more people friendly ie... More lofts and condos are being made as well as businesses are on a rise compared to a decade ago.

Place sucked

By Marvin W |

The hamburgers suck here. And there's no cherry coke here either. No miller lite in a can either . They suck and the tall waiter too.

Nice sandwiches and beer selection

By Bluemermaid25 |

They say they specialize in beer and sausage, so I had the wild boar sausage. It had a crispy onion topping, and a smoky flavor, that I liked. My friend had the salmon BLT, which he liked. We saw, but didn’t try, their schnapps paddles – sounds interesting! It’s also unusual that they in the winter the beer garden is converted into a curling rink. We opted to forgo the order of fries, thinking that our sandwich would be enough for us before a concert, and we were right. Parking on a weekday was easy to find, and afterward, we walked right over to the nearby City Winery. I can’t wait to go back when the weather warms up, to go on their roof top Sky Room.

Amazing food!

By Amanda S |

I recently visited Kaiser Tiger for a wedding. The ceremony was very intimate and it let out into the outdoor seating area where appetizers and drinks were served. The food was out of this world! Just about everything had a bacon theme and the "bacon grenade" was so good, my boyfriend and I had several servings! We will come back to visit next time we go to a Blackhawks game at the United Center that was very close by.

Pre-Hockey Hangout

By janetrae51 |

Great Beer, enthusiastic and pleasant servers, and pretty terrific meat-based everything (besides the beer). Fun!

Simply fun!

By Davidamy617 |

This was a fun casual stop. We sat outside in the beer garden. It was a fun place to gather with friends. We ordered our drinks at the outside bar and carried them to the table. Fun, casual and lively.

Me again!

By Twinsmom99 |

We love the vibe of this place. The staff is always so chill. We love the fries appetizer. Kids got buffalo chicken salad and hubby got breakfast burger.

Delicious!

By TheLisaBee |

I'll preface this review by saying that I unfortunately am allergic to pork - and 75% of Kaiser Tiger's menu is pork. That being said, this place was amazing. Stopped in for a happy hour with coworkers after an event and their beer selection was great - a nice long list to choose from. We just ordered a bunch of appetizers to split and what I was able to eat was amazing, and everything looked and smelled phenomenal. It looks like it gets quite busy, so I recommend going a little early or making a reservation.

Terrific bar and food

By Rick B |

Are group of eight was seated quickly and served rapidly for dinner. Salmon BLT and the salads were very tasty. Great place to take family and friends.

Delicious

By Cameron M |

If you like bacon then this is the place to go. I had bacon grenades and the bacon board. Washed it all down with a Three Floyds Alpha King. Spectacular food and clean environment. Our waited was kind and amazingly friendly. I am definitely going back the next time I am in town.

Enough cold grey concrete in the patio to, emergency ONLY, land a large aircraft.

By HelloJoeOne |

Okay, looking for weekend Bruch!! Well first, skip the patio/beer garden/side lot when offered, it is just a concrete slab with a few, and way too few on a sunny day, umbrellas. The food okay, and just okay, service as it happens by your table, so pick a busy route. Always surprising that what is great and up and coming to the west, would be just okay in the east. Time only proves all. So go in the meantime, set inside, get to know your waiter, and watch for incoming aircraft.

What's left to take pic of! Had to snap it fast😎🍺

By John M |

Wunderba, homemade everything, sausages, pretzels , don't forget the beer selection. Feasted on a quick lunch of Bavarian pretzel , and grenades, spicy pork and beef meatballs with bacon deep fried, omg how delicious . Great atmosphere , fantastic bartender, and a cool crowd. Stop here you will be back!

Average brunch

By Pam-travelfan |

Great outdoor seating area, but I was very disappointed with my salad. It was "mixed greens", but it definitely had iceberg lettuce with it. Over 3/4 of the fries were left on the plate.

Service could be better.

By glhil |

There are 6 of us that ate here on a Sunday afternoon. We got the sausage and cheese board appetizer and fries. Both were very good we also ordered several of the different brat sandwiches. Everything we ordered was really very good the only option for a bread is a pretzel roll. However our waiter was a little out of it he didn't get our order straight couldn't hear what we ordered he wasn't very good. He seemed a little disinterested in waiting on us. Most of the dishes are sausage and bacon and everything was really very tasty. The only bad thing was their potato salad really didn't have any flavor.

Could be better

By WinfieldRDH |

When we called the day of, to make reservations, we were told they were booked but we could walk in. When we came at the appointed time, the place was totally empty. Very, very odd. However, did have a long wait for the hostess, as the party on the phone seemed to be upset about a Travelzoo promotion. Perhaps there is a link, perhaps not, but still... Service once our party was seated in the empty restaurant was efficient, not much explanation about their philosophy or what they specialize in though, or the menu. Food was okay, Got the Signature Salad, it was good, but overpriced. My friends enjoyed their Bloody Mary's which are very spicy. Nice location and space, just kind of off. With so many better options in the area, I would not go out of my way for this one.

Depends what you want

By BoOrlando |

They have a lot of great beers here and a beautiful outdoor area that's busy, but not crazy on a Saturday. We came with a 18month old baby and they were pretty accommodating, high chair and nice staff. I will say the apps were way over priced for the quantity and staff was not most knowledgeable on the menu or particularly attentive. If I wanted a few beers with the boys on a Saturday it'd be great, but it was not a good spot for a group of six plus a baby looking for lunch.

Meat Lover's Heaven!

By RKM036 |

Went here for a group for a casual business dinner. Perfect setting, and tasty, hearty fare! There were even people Curling in the outdoor courtyard with a roaring open fire going. Ate a lot of different bacons - all delicious, and had the Bomb sandwich for my meal. I thought I was going to explode, but couldn't stop eating it was all so good.

More pro than con

By Sluggo16 |

Enjoyed our early dinner at K.T. Sunday before the Hawks game. The staff were friendly and helpful, the food was original and tasty and the beer selection terrific. The only minor draw backs were the environment could use the slightest of spruce ups, and the 'sit at' square tables are horribly warped and tilted, so putting two together for a group of 4 is an adventure in 'beer sliding'. The other plus was the value. Could eat and drink plenty for a very decent price. The shuttle to and from the United Center is a brilliant and super convenient add-on which we loved. I can imagine the patio in summer and curling in winter is a super fun feature. Would I go back? You betcha!

Great patio for a beer

By brmusicman |

Kaiser Tiger has opened for outdoor dining as Chicago has started to relax COVID-19 restrictions. We went on a Sunday afternoon for a beer. It's a very nice outdoor patio; it was scorching outside on the day we went, but the patio was pleasant due to a nice covering that provided ample shade and lots of fans. They were doing a good job with COVID-19. The tables were appropriately spaced, servers were in masks, hand sanitizer was available, etc. Nice selection of beers and cocktails available, along with food. We both had local brews that were tasty. We ordered a pretzel with our beers; it was huge and very good, especially with spicy mustard. Nice place for an afternoon break.

Great Patio for Beer and Music

By 1Rahhalatun |

Decent food..especially the fries, distanced outdoor seating, and good music. It was a peppy jazz combo. We loved it.

Curling

By N9626BFdavec |

After dinner went to Kaiser Tiger to do a little curling. It is not quite like the Olympics, but you get an idea of how it works. Everyone enjoyed it as we also enjoyed a couple of drinks. They have several Beers to choose from and other drinks, plus food if you want to eat.

After the game was perfect!

By AltenaTime |

Read about this place during the Blackhawks game. We shared the burger and fries. Try the Bleu cheese bacon dip-fantastic! Plenty of brews on tap with 5 and 10 ounce pours so you can taste a few.

Pregame meal

By dwatanab |

Nice place for a pre Blackhawk game meal. Tried the bomb sandwich which was OK. Basically a glorified meatloaf but still a good meal. Fries with curry dipping sauce were tasty - one order is PLENTY for two people. Beer menu was exceptional. Will go again to try homemade sausage offerings.

Yes! Had Fun!

By Greenmemonica |

We stopped into this place not having any idea what to expect, but we really liked it. We sat in the back garden patio area, which was a nice outdoor setting next to the bocci ball courts. We weren't in the food area, and didn't have any servers, but it was not a big deal at all to go into the bar area and get a beer, or just order the monthly beer from the outdoor bar. I really liked the Cucumbo Gose, and would like to try to see if someone sells it here in Cincinnati. On a nice day, I would definitely come back to this place. Friendly bartenders, patrons. It was fun!

Kaiser prehawks

By Brutus1968 |

Hit Kaiser Tiger before the Hawks game and had never been there. Food was awesome and beer was better. Even stepped outside for a little curling. i will definitely go back. The wait for beer was a bit long but worth it. Doesn't seem many folks are aware of this place. Burgers and fries were just the order for a cold afternoon. Bit of a long walk to game but we needed to burn some calories.

Good food and drink before a concert -- plus a free shuttle to United Center!

By letrips66 |

Had "early bird" reservations since all the later times were taken. On our Lyft ride over, we heard that the place has "curling" in the back room. We didn't check it out, but it seems fun. Since bacon and sausage is the specialty, we decided to try some items to check it out. We had the Bacon Grenades -- a beef and sausage meatball, wrapped in bacon, and then battered in corn dog batter and fried, served with BBQ sauce. They were pretty good. Then we had a "Bock Bock" Burger and the chicken sandwich and split an order of fries with all the sauces. And we finished with a Bacon Bread Pudding. It was good, but the bourbon glaze was awfully strong. They had a big beer selection and some strong drinks -- especially the peach old fashioned. Total meal with starter, sandwiches, 1 dessert and 2 drinks apiece was $100 before tip.

Great Chill Patio

By Clay G |

I walked over here after a long day wanting to get a nice beer and sit outside. Luckily, Kaiser Tiger could oblige. The patio out back is a great place to chill and sip a beer after a stressful day. The prices for beers are great, especially for their size. The foods pretty good too, and I enjoyed my pulled pork sandwich on a pretzel bun. I'll be back if I'm ever in the neighborhood with time to kill.

Fantastic

By ndbaker74 |

Had the Beer&Bacon sausage with fries and the sampler of dipping sauces. Amazing. Definitely will make the Kaiser Tiger a more frequent stop!

Worth the stop!

By Michael A |

The staff was great, food really good(I wish I tried the fries platter) and the valueb was great! If visiting Chicago give this place a try.

Outside seating

By CDubb21 |

Atmosphere was fun here, but service wasn't great! We sat outside and they had a ton of picnic tables with umbrellas. It was nice. They had 2 Bocce ball courts, which was fun! This place was decently packed on a Saturday afternoon.

Great place to celebrate a birthday!

By 276elizabethl |

Our 3 sons live in Chicago and when we celebrate a birthday it is nice have time together to talk and hang out. The food was comfort food--tasty bacon themed. Good beer selection, nice outdoor beer garden with games set up to play. Casual atmosphere.

Comfortable Place to Eat

By BillJerseyShore |

Decent place to stop for beer and a sandwich. We had the Beer and Bacon and The Paddy Long's Polka. Get the Beer and Bacon. Food comes out immediately after you order it. Good for folks in a rush, questionable to those wondering how long the food has been sitting out for.

Loved it

By KathyHiggins |

Brian and Linda are awesome bartenders. They made us feel very welcome for our first time there. Would definitely go back

This is a Unique and Confortable Spot Prior to United Center Event... Or After

By 304davidjs |

Great place to stop prior to a game or show at the UC. Menu highlight is a diverse selection of sausage sandwiches. My favorite is the Happy Gaucho that stars spicy Argentina chorizo topped with guacamole and sour cream. Standard chicken and burger option available. Get the Bavarian pretzel to share while enjoying a fairly decent and diverse beer menu. Also offer shuttle to the UC, but it is a walkable distance depending on weather.

Very nice place for a drink and some tasty sausages!

By TripShawn |

We had separate top floor bar area for a business event. The service was very good, the selection of drinks excellent, and the nibbling food great. Especially the sausages I found to be excellent with a nice bun and great mustard. Nice atmosphere and seating, just west of downtown. I would definitely consider coming back for the sausages, atmosphere, service, and to explore more of the drink menu.

Loved the patio

By Jenny W |

The atmosphere was really nice outside on the patio. The food was just okay. Salmon BLT for me, my husband really like his chicken sandwich. Would go back for sure.

Sausages, Bacon, Beer, and CURLING

We were there this past Friday night for dinner as a group of 7 people. I made an easy 7pm reservation via open table about a week or so before since we were coming in from out of town. It's a cool open bar/dining room setting with brick walls and windows that look toward the lights of downtown. As a group we shared the bacon wrapped shrimp with potato pancake, bacon wrapped dates, and pretzel with dips. All were tasty if small portions so if you are a group get at least 3 or 4 things to share so everyone gets something. Large unique beer menu with one cider option which was a little watery for my tastes but balanced all the bacon at the same time. For dinner we had the chicken sandwich, burger, Polish sausage, and chorizo. Everyone enjoyed what they had and the pretzel bun presentation was a nice change. Since was had all curled before we were keen to try out the outdoor curling. It was about 0 degrees when we were out there so the half hour for $15 was just enough. Just know that of course being outside, it is not going to be shaved, pebbled, and smooth. We did have to "toss" the rocks a bit to get past the snowy first few feet but you get the gist of the game and we still had a lot of fun doing it. They also had a fire pit going outside which was nice if a bit smokey. A unique addition to a fun bar for the winter! We would totally go back.

a beer garden vibe

Got in late. Tuesday night. This place was quiet, open and has a nice menu full of meats. The bartender was patient and helpful as we explored the local beer options. We settled on a Kolsch and a hazy ipa. Next we decided to split the schnitzel sandwich with extra house fries. They boast a host of homemade sauces including an authentic German style curry ketchup. The pickled onions with the schnitzel were really good. Wish I had more. They have a really cool outdoor beer garden vibe with adult games. I’m guessing this place can really get rockin! 1 sandwich, side of fries and 4 beers: 60$

Bad service, very disappointing

Terrible service, would never come back. Bartenders making you a favor that they're serving you, complaining you (the customer) isn't paying their salaries... While that might be true, if people won't come, you definitely won't have a salary, so have a slight decency and customer service... Really disappointed

Rehearsal Party of 65 Please

By jomama61 |

Huge shout out to Kaiser Tiger for hosting our family rehearsal party this past weekend. The Director of Events, Alexandra, helped me navigate this party from over 1000 miles away. She helped me pick a menu my guest would enjoy and made me feel relaxed and calm through out the whole process. She didn’t do this alone she had help from her wonderful support team, Scott behind the bar who kept the drinks flowing, Tina and Cass that were amazing on the floor and switching up wherever needed that evening. They kept the entire evening moving, my guests happy, full glasses and heaping portions of great food! We also had some outside time after the party in their private tent and had some snuggle time with the resident cat Bacon. Thank you all for such a great evening to kick off our festivities before the wedding. Kaiser Tiger, a Bacon , Sausage and Beer Bar! These folks know how to throw a PARTY!! Thank you!!

A good time

Fun little bar. It is elevated pub food. Drinks are very good. Great vibe in this place. I would have dinner elsewhere and then return for a nightcap.
