Great new restaurant and the vibe is nice street-side. We came by to check out things at happy hour and drank a bit--awesome G&T's--as well as trying some small bites from the menu. We'll be back again for sure and I'll chime in more then.

Outstanding food, wine, and service at Kalimotxo! Grigor, our waiter, was attentive and fantastic. We enjoyed Gilda pintxos, tomato salad, and patatas bravas -- all were delicious. The burger was also delicious. We will be back soon! Thanks!

What a great addition to the Austin food/bar scene — Kalimotxo! (Kali mo cho). The unique Basque Country of northern Spain with its specialty wine drinks and pintxos (individual serving). We loved the icy red wine/cola drink that is a kalimotxo as well as the tinto verao ( red wine with lemon soda). We tried many bites and there isn’t anything I wouldn’t order again BUT do not miss the Basque cheesecake. It’s worth it to go just to try the light creaminess. They have outdoor seating as well as inside in the same space as the new restaurant Hestia by the Emmer & Rye group. They have another winner!

Had an incredible dinner at Kalimotxo in East Austin this past Friday. It was just the two of us, and we grabbed seats at the bar—easily one of the best dining experiences we’ve had in a while. The vibe was lively yet relaxed, and the bartenders were fantastic—super knowledgeable, friendly, and really elevated the whole experience. The cocktails were creative and perfectly balanced, and the food? Absolutely phenomenal. Every dish was bursting with flavor and plated beautifully. We also had a chance to chat briefly with Kathryn, the General Manager, and she was awesome—genuine, welcoming, and clearly passionate about what they do. Whether you’re out for a date night or just looking for an elevated yet approachable spot, Kalimotxo is a total gem. Can’t wait to go back!

I ordered cookies from here online. Chocolate chip and pecan. They were very thick and not to my liking really. The services was good.
