I've been here several times since it opened, for dinner and drinks. Most recently had the crispy chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots, and the bangers & mash. The chicken was like a schnitzel, but not like a paper thin Viennese one (which I think is a good thing), but instead seemed just lightly pounded. It was perfectly fried- crispy but not overdone, chicken still moist and tender. The mashed potatoes were delicious- great potato flavor, not drenched in milk or butter- but still smooth and not gummy. The carrots were also excellent- not sad little boiled to death coins but lengthwise cuts that were seemed like they were roasted. Was a bit disappointed that the sausage on the bangers & mash plate was kind of small, but it was delicious sausage. Of course they do a great Guinness pour, probably the best in Austin, very fresh. They have several other Irish and craft beers on tap and a fairly good can/bottle selection. I think they could do with a bit more selection but it's a kind of small place, so I imagine they only have so much room behind the bars, and there's much more selection than you'd find in an actual Irish pub. You can tell that the owner is committed to quality and authenticity. Atmosphere is just what you'd expect from an Irish pub. Parking is limited.

Fun and friendly atmosphere. Staff is super chill and quite a few are actually from Ireland, which adds to the authenticity of the experience. The decor is on point. Laughed at many of the tins I spotted around me. They also had many authentic Irish pieces that you don’t see at most pubs in the states. One included the 20 ounce pour glass. I’ve been to Ireland and didn’t even realize that was a typical pour out that way. Cool piece of knowledge I wouldn’t have learned anywhere else. Overall just a great vibe here. I’ve been to many pubs over the past 20 years, some were in Ireland. This was by far my favorite. Kiddos to the owner. You really nailed it and I had a great time here. Thank you!!! -Levi

What a find!! Was looking to watch the Celtic Game, and came across this place, immediately welcomed and felt like home. Great banter, a real locals pub who are very friendly. Excellent food and drink , I popped in most days I was in Austin.

Delicious fish and chips, they were fresh, hot and crispy. Great service, continuously checking if we needed anything. Terrific atmosphere!🍺
