I brought my daughter here for a late lunch when in town over the holidays. Despite a lack of parking, and an awkward wait without being greeted, the restaurant was mostly empty. We were eventually seated at a recently-wiped but still-dirty table. Our server was friendly. Our food was OK. I had a sandwich, and my daughter had the fried chicken green chile macaroni and cheese. The mac and cheese was an interesting idea, but it was so spicy that there was very little actual flavor. My sandwich, a convoluted version of grilled cheese, was fine. Overall, I found this restaurant to be passable, but lacking in overall experience. I used to eat at Kerbey Lane back in the 1980's. The food was always good with a kitschy atmosphere. This time, I found it has gone the way of most places in Austin: a combination of a quirky menu, trying too hard to be hip (while simultaneously not caring), and mediocre execution. If you enjoy eating average food in an atmosphere of people reveling in their own "uniqueness," you should immediately take the bus to this place.

The other evening I went for a late dinner and found part of the meal good and the rest meh to disheartening. The good parts included some really great chicken (good taste and nicely crunchy), but the rest of the meal, including the dessert, needed some work ... serious work in some cases! The time may have been a factor in some of the debacle, but the mashed potatoes were so dry they were barely edible (and some people say anything w/ bacon is great ... these had bacon and cheese on them but way too dry). The biscuit was something that would make a Southern mom want to slap you ... it was dried out and not even jelly could help make it the treat that most biscuits are here in TX. They were able to substitute spinach for broccoli for me, which I liked, but I think they could have put it back into the ground and it might have started to grow again (as in when someone asks for sauteed spinach w/ garlic, it needs to be sauteed ... as in cook it please!). Now for dessert, the best part of any meal right ... LoL ... well maybe. I got the brownie sundae but asked for it to be served separately. The ice cream part was nicely presented w/ some hot fudge on top and strawberries on the side (hint: stems and leaves are a good thing to remove as most of us are not seeking them as an additional source of roughage when we come to your restaurant). The brownies, which I've had on a few occasions now, were as usual, hard as bricks. The odd thing is that I like them that way and it didn't bother me ... but some people prefer soft brownies so FYI folks, I haven't found them soft at this place yet so don't hold your breath waiting or ... perhaps that is what the ice cream is used for ... to soften the brownies. It was good though.

We were able to call ahead and put our name on the wait list which was only about 30 minutes to begin with. The fall seasonal menu was extensive and made choosing tough! The sweet potatoes hash was Devine. My husband enjoyed the pumpkin pancakes and my daughter had cinnamon swirl pancakes. Great, friendly service and reasonable prices.

Stumbled on this place for a late breakfast on a weekday. the food was okay, but not remarkable. The portions were very skimpy for what they charged. The service wasn't the best...it wasn't as if he was outwardly rude, but it felt like pulling teeth to get the waiter's attention. Maybe he was having a bad day and not into it, we all have bad days, but unfortunately that was part of the impression it left. Next time I'll probably try another place for grub.

Great food and outstanding service. Came by after graduation and enjoyed the queso and chips and then settled in for the outstanding food.

Imagine that you've got VIP seating at the diner in heaven. Double the quality. That's Kerbey Lane. EVERY time I find myself there, they just kill it. The "A" game every time.

Stopped in around 5pm for dinner last Saturday. Surprised it was not crazy busy. Seated quickly. Great service. Had the turkey bacon club sandwich and sweet potato fries. SO good. Usually only have breakfast here so this was a new meal for me to try. Will have again for sure.

We received several unsolicited recommendations for this place while we were in town and we're glad we tried it. Located a short walk from UT, the restaurant is obviously well loved by locals and visitors. Friendly and fast service (we arrived around 9AM on a Thursday and were immediately seated) and tasty food (and large portions). We enjoyed the banana nut pancakes, fruit and the breakfast burrito, fresh juice and coffee - all for $18. We were offered to take coffee to-go for free which was super nice. You should go here!

My daughter is new to the Austin area but we always try somewhere new any time I come down. I thought the food was slightly above average. We split the turkey avocado sandwich accompanied by the Kerbey queso. The sandwich with sweet potato fries was good but nothing to write home about. The queso you need to write home about. Possibly the best queso I have ever had. To put it into some form of context I would compare it to torchys but better. If you are looking for a torchys hack, this has nothing to do with Kerbeys, ask for the 1/2 queso. It is almost the same amount at 1/2 the price.

Kerbey Scramble with lemon-drizzled raspberry pancakes. Hit it out of the park. All 3 daughters ate nearly every scrap of their breakfast. This place is a winner.

With my husband’s cousin in town for the weekend, we went to Kerbey Lane Café for brunch. Canaan, our waiter, made an error in our order and the kitchen made an error also. However, Neal, the manager, and Canaan worked hard to make corrections and be sure everything was alright. The coffee was great, as were the other items. They were busy and people just kept streaming in.

Great selection on the menu-traditional breakfast items as well as some unique offerings. Omelet, eggs Benedict on a biscuit, and pancakes were all yummy!

Stopped by for Burch on sudauy was told 20-25 min wait was more like 15 minute. Got seated and services was quick. I had the chicken fried steak and family had the gingerbread pancakes and the turkey sausage and eggs benedict. It all seems good as the table was busy eating. The gravy on the chicken fried steak was different but especially tasty. Will be hitting the place again next time we are passing though.

Never leave bad reviews because I can appreciate the struggles to operate 100 in the service industry. But this place warrants it: poor customer service all around.

Came through for brunch on a Saturday morning. There was a line of cars turning in and short wait to be seated. It seems they were understaffed this day as we waited a while to place our order and a get served. I noticed that there were others with the same issues around the restaurant. The manager came by to check on us and our server was very polite..when we saw her. Considering the long wait to get in, they must have better days. The food was average and my son’s food was very undercooked. It was taken back and re-done. Sadly, we could have had the same meal for half the price at one of the national chains.

Super good! My roommate recommended me this place to breakfast and brunch, I went with some friends and the food was tasty, and the service excellent. if we go to Austin again, sure we will repeat

Kerbey Lane was recommended to me by a friend as a good hangover breakfast. Well I didn't have a hangover but it was still a great breakfast. Although I wanted to try a number of different things off the menu, our waitress suggested the Kerbey Lane breakfast with eggs, bacon, sausage, pancakes, and fresh fruit. I'm so glad we followed her advice. The pancakes and syrup were the best I've had. The eggs were cooked the way I ordered them and complemented the pancakes nicely. The bacon was okay. I've had better but it wasn't terrible. Will definitely return next time we are in town.

Everything was perfectly seasoned. They had a large variety of eggs Benedict.... Their fresh squeezed lemonade was amazing and the had 2 dollar mimosas

Even though we were here for breakfast you must always get the chips and queso! To begin we went on a Saturday morning at 9:30. Parking is limited but we got the last spot. Our wait time was about 10 mins and they text you when your table is ready so you can also wait outside. The place is small but they have a bar section that has full service and the man working there always offered it to those over waiting on a list. Our food tasted wonderful and they exceeded my expectations.

Creative for a diner, almost always crowded. Known for special pancakes. Seasonal tomato menu interesting.

We stopped at Kerbey Lane Cafe for a late lunch. We were seated right away, and all staff were very friendly. We ordered their famous namesake queso, a southwest salad and a Mid-East Feast. Queso arrived fast with a generous portion of chips. So good. Salads were huge -- we wished we had ordered one and shared. Super fresh, very copious and really good. Very neat neighborhood spot that we imagine is packed when University is in session.

Really tasty Chicken Fried Chicken Eggs Benedict. The pickled red onion on the open biscuit base complemented the holland aisle sauce giving just the right amount of tang. The chicken fried breast was beautifully coated and fried. Kudos too to the vanilla bean ice cream served with the brownie sundae. Drawback? The portions easily serve two or even three, so sharing is the way to go.

Aight so love Kerby Jerby or whatever. Cowboy queso makes me tingle. But whoever god came up with the spell known as Buffalo Mac n cheese needs to be put to the fire. The chef wanted me dead with that fire sauce.

Want to have a meal at a true austin local hang out? Have to try Kerbey lane! Have had breakfast, lunch and dinner here. the BLT, their Hamburgers, Pancakes, tacos, really everything is worth trying.

This is a basic place on the drag. The mgmt seems to have changed and wants to improve. Service was a little slow but not terrible. Don't order the burger. It is so outpaced by the size of the bun, it's not worth it. I'd stick with breakfast, which they tend not to screw up too much.

Heard about this place ... you have to go their for Sunday Brunch - was what we were told... but cant see why... it was fine... pancakes were just ok, and the other meals were fine but nothing special. Was nice but have had better. Also the toilets were filthy and they kept having to put up signs for people to watch incase they fell. And in one toilet someone had left a dirty nappy which was there for ages so people need to check the cleanliness of their toilets. f

However, the simple meal I like is a taco and the corn tortilla was hard and chewy. The black beans, mushrooms, cheese, and hot sauce were good. My husband enjoyed his eggs Benedict and I ate the diced potatoes with spicy seasoning. The potatoes had a few black parts that had not been cut off. They were busy and I guess they did not quality control it.

Busy place. We popped in about 3:00 PM on a Saturday and had to wait. We ordered patty melt 2/5, turkey avocado sandwich 4/5, chicken panini 4.5/5, migas 5/5, and French toast 5/5. Breakfast is the definite play here. I will certainly order the migas next time they are super good. Service is very good.

I haven't been to Austin in quite awhile. But visited with my wife and son so he could tour UT Austin campus. A niece, who is a student arranged for us to meet at Kerbey Lane Cafe on Guadelupe St. I had no idea what type of fare would be served. I was actually happy to learn that it specializes in breakfast type food. The place is busy and we waited about 10 minutes to be seated in a booth at about 12:30 pm on a Wednesday. I ordered the steak Benedict with the homemade muffin. The meal was very good. Everyone at my table enjoyed the food. Best part: visiting with my niece!

Huge variety and everything coming from kitchen looked great. The extensive menu allows for pretty much any preferences. Meat lover, vegetarian, vegan, glutton free, kids menu...check! There is a general and a seasonal menu with unique choices. Great sandwiches, burgers, salads, even all day breakfast from pancakes to eggs Benedict. Beverage choices for all too...like the iced chai. Deserts too looked great; can vouch for the awesome fresh apple pie ala mode. Staff quick and friendly. Highly recommend for an easy and tasty meal.

This spot is perfect for families with picky eaters, as they have a super extensive menu. And while many restaurants with a big menu only have a few items that are actually good, Kerbey Lane does everything well. While we would happily close our eyes and point to something on the menu, and trust that we’d love it, our go-to items are the Cowboy Queso, Green Chile Mac, Cuban Sandwich, Fried Avocado tacos, and the Texas Benedict.

My wife and I met our friends for a quick meal to catch up while we were escaping Hurricane Harvey and checking our son into UT for his freshman year. When we provided our cell number for the waitlist text, the host notice we were from the Gulf Coast. She asked if we were from Galveston. We told her yes. We had a great meal with exceptional service in a very busy restaurant. When we ask for our check the manager, host and server presented us with a message of hope and love that you can only get in Texas. They picked up our ticket and wished us well getting back home. Please give your business when in Austin. I have been enjoying Kerbey Lane since there original location on Kerbey Lane. It has always been my favorite early or late meal of the day. Thank you KL for your kindness and show of support for those in Harvey's wake.

Kerbey Lane has been an Austin institution for decades. I discovered a "new to me" location on The Drag on my latest visit to Austin. It was as good as I remembered from back in my college days, decades ago. We ate everything from pancakes to gazpacho. It was all farm fresh and delicious!

This location has friendly service and, of course, wonderful food! I love their breakfast options, especially their specialty pancakes, which are always awesome!

Great place for Breakfast or Lunch! I never had such delicious pancakes anywhere!!! Poppy seed pumpkin was amazing delicious and big portion!!! You do not need syrup, pancakes have a glaze that is rich in flavor and very tasty. All our breakfast orders looked beautiful and tasted fantastic. The service was outstanding and the coffee was constantly being refilled. Great establishment!!!

Saw this restaurant recommended in a Facebook group. We were staying near UT and saw that this location was close by. On the way in, I saw that they sold their pancake mix by the box, so I figured their pancakes had to be good. I ended up ordering the Kerbey Lane Combo with the gingerbread pancakes and it did not disappoint. The pancakes were delicious and taste just like gingerbread cookies.

Kerbey Lane Cafe Not a good choice this morning at 10:50am Noisy enough to where my husband I texted on our phones for conversation Food COLD Coffee lukewarm Service lukewarm Wait 15 min for table and 40 mins for food, probably why the food was COLD Expensive 35 buck for breakfast for 2 is much too steep (there was that 3.25 for the one glass of milk) Bathroom floor was wet and I saw two ladies plus myself slipping at the entrance (caution signs were up but it was a BIG safety hazard) We had thought about going to the Galaxy cafe and disappointed we made the choice to go to Kerbey Lane...on our way to our next stop our ears were still ringing from the noise level so We won’t go back to Kerbey Lane Pretty sad since this used to be a great local place to eat quality food

We arrived around 12:30 on a Tuesday. There was a 15 minutes wait. We waited about 10 and our table we ready. It was not crowded so I’m not sure why there was even a wait. We haven’t been here before but heard it was good. Well that was wrong. We had the kerby queso that has cheese dip with guacamole in it. It was kinda funny tasting. The chips were good. Crispy and warm. That was the best part of the whole meal. We had some enchiladas that were very dry and bland. No flavor. We ordered Cheese enchiladas but got chicken instead. There was nothing else in it but chicken and some sauce on top. It came with black beans and some rice that tasted like there was no seasoning at all. We also got a side salad and shared the meal. The salad dressing I had was cilantro lime but it came out like a paste. It was nasty. The Service was very slow and the people looked sloppy and in no hurry to help the customers. I would not recommend going to this place. There are several other places around even In n Out burger that would have been better..

I'm usually a big fan of the food here, which includes good vegetarian and gluten-free options and is always fresh and substantial. I also usually find that the employees are really helpful, but tonight's interaction with a supervisor/manager was disappointing. Tonight I went with a relatively large group, and the host told us we could wait at the bar to order drinks while we waited for a table. Once we got there and a few of us ordered drinks to wait, a manager then came over and told us we needed to go back and wait in the waiting area instead of clogging up the bar area. This was totally fine, and not an unreasonable request (obviously the host misunderstood the policy or we misunderstood him), but the manager was pretty rude about making us move and having us immediately close out our tabs even though there was no one else there (and recounting the whole policy to us when honestly we don't really care...we just want to know where to wait). She then reprimanded the host in front of us for misdirecting us to the bar area, which was super awkward and inappropriate. In other words, it's not big deal if we needed to move, and it's no big deal if a welcoming host makes a simple mistake about the bar/big party/waiting protocol, but someone in a managerial position should know better than to come off as hostile to guests and, more importantly, to her own employees. It's not professional and it reflects poorly on the whole place. I hope that the working environment there isn't as uncomfortable as she made it seem. This is basic common sense customer service stuff.

Kerbey Lane and I have a real love/hate relationship. Regardless of the time or location it seems that every time I go and whatever I order they are OUT of and I don't find out until the food is delivered. But yet I keep going back because it's a late night option and my friends always want to go there. The last time I was there I went under protest explaining my experience. Well I got my food BUT my friend didn't . HAH! They were out- big surprise- NOT! I am happy to report that this trip the whole table got their food. But that's because I specifically asked the waitress to check with the kitchen before we ordered. The waitress was willing to customize a plate for me with just grilled chicken and veggies. Everyone was happy with their food. Yes it took an eternity but that's just the Kerbey way- we used to joke that the food actually came from another location was was sent my bicycle over.

It was great to find a family restaurant that offers organic and healthy choices that are also fun. The parking sucks but it was worth it!

The menu is nice, the service also. Whatever the food you like you might find it there. I had tacos, but the blackbeans weren’t that good, and they were cold.

The giant pancakes are always my favorite the eggs and the bacon and the hash browns are good usually they have a this isn't a place to go because of the wait if you're in a hurry average ticket around 12 to $15 a person

We went around 2pm on a Wednesday. It was definitely clearing out as we were seated right away. Waited at least 10 minutes for someone to take our drink order. Another waiter immediately came after that one to get our drink order but since we were ready he took order food order. And then the wait really began. Over 20-25 minutes and radio silence. My daughter ordered a turkey club; we saw it sitting there at the orders up window ... it sat and sat and sat. After receiving many frowns from me; the original waiter came over and said that it was crazy in the kitchen and they lost my Cobb salad order. So it would be right out. Well it wasn’t. Another 15 minutes and here comes our order. And boy was the food bland. Pricey and bland. The waiter staff seem to be more intererested in trying to be weird. (I would classify them as wanna bes) I love Austin but this place is a thumbs down. Pricey. Poor service. Small and blah menu. No mention of an apology. My son was the one who recommended this place. He hadn’t been there in three years - so I don’t know if the ownership has changed? Anyway I will never be back. Texted my son that I now know what it feels like to be invisible.

This restaurant is close to the U. of Texas campus, and was just right for lunch. All three of us had some variety of eggs, which were cooked to order with excellent potatoes and homemade biscuits. Service was friendly and attentive.

Diner food. Got pancakes and chilaquiles both were good. Wifey got veggie entree. She liked. Vegan and vegetarian friendly. Staff, like every other server we met I. Austin, was friendly.

Best part was the $3 glasses of wine and the restaurant hours. The sav blanc was really good for the price too. If you're out late night and hungry it's a good place. Definitely better than Waffle House or IHOP. I wouldn't go during the day when there are so many options to eat. Me and my boyfriend both did not like the sausage. Over easy eggs were undercooked. Took just as long to get my glass of wine as it did for them to bring my food.

Was travelling through Austin and ate here a couple nights. The food was decent and they made sure that I was happy with the food. Most of all it was a very welcoming and friendly place to sit down and have something to eat. The place is obviously well-managed and the staff are always happy to do anything to improve your experience. Go here.

I'm visiting my daughter in AUSTIN. First day here she brought me to Kerbey Lane cafe. Menu had some pretty good unique STUFF. I got the pancakes and fried chicken breast. Very Good!, my daughter got fried avocado tacos. Of course I Tasted! Super good! Kids eat free Tuesdays!! My grandchildren enjoyed breakfast for DINNER. Love this place!

Ate there for breakfast and lunch!!! Bacon pear grilled cheese! Breakfast taco with gingerbread pancake. Yum! And always lots of people there. Open 24 hours too!

My husband and I visited Kerbey Lane on our first trip to Austin. We went early Saturday and could be seated right away. I got the buttermilk pancake with a "swirl". Basically a cinnamon roll pancake----out of this world! It's a must try!

Visiting Austin and gave Kerbey Lane Cafe a try for breakfast. As we were walking in the door someone pushed by us and it was a waitress for the cafe obviously late for her shift. They seated us in a booth where i had to clean off the seat from food left there. Ordered a French toast platter which came with 2 eggs and a side of fruit. I asked for eggs over medium which were served hard and brown. The waiter didnt return until we were done and wanted to replace the eggs but I was ready to leave. The fruit was ok a small portion and the French toast was basically ok. I love my coffee there's is flavored water not good. Will be heading to a coffee shop from here. It cost 30.00 for the two of us and wasn't worth 20. Servers were more interested in talking-to each other than waiting on customers. I would not recommend or return.

Kerbey Lane is always open (24/7). It's a great place to get a meal when near the University of Texas (UT). I enjoy their breakfast plates, but they also have tex-mex, burgers, sandwiches, and a seasonal menu. If you're out late or up early, it's a good place to stop. Beware that it is very popular with UT students and can be crowded at peak meal times. They have a good size (free) parking lot. If you're by yourself, you can eat at the bar while watching the tv. The wait staff are friendly and helpful.

I went to the UT location. It was Sunday at about 12:30 p.m. . Right after the breakfast rush. The food was not as good as it used to be. My boyfriend tried the special s'mores pancakes. I would not put those on the menu. I got a side of a gingerbread pancake because I remembered those were good. Nothing special. Everything was just okay. We sat at the bar because there was a short wait for a table. It was not wiped off. We had to ask for that to be done after our coffee was served. Noticed the food was sitting in the window for a very long time before it went out. I would stress cleanliness in the restrooms. Perhaps an onsite manager. Our waiter was friendly and attentive. Everyone who worked there was very nice.

We walked 2.5 miles to get to Kerbey Lane because it was another of my favorite places from my time in Austin 25 years ago. So good! I had the chicken verde omelette with a short stack of Apple wheat pancakes (subbed the two side for the pancake treat), and my husband had a traditional breakfast . Both of us were thrilled, and full! I only ate about a third of the pancakes, but only because I was full. Make a trip to one of the 4 KLC locations.

My son brought me to this restaurant once before, but the line was out the door. Now I understand why. We came for breakfast and the kids insisted we try the guacamole queso. I wasn't sure this combo would work, but my oh my!! We moved onto the breakfast dishes...I had a cinnamon beignet pancake with eggs and fruit. Swoon. The waitstaff was so professional and prompt and helpful. The Cafe was sparkling clean and fun and you can just see the devotion of the locals who are lucky enough to come back often. I'm pretty sure I'll be coming back just to dine here. Fabulous food!

This location is as good as the original. Great food, great service, lousy parking. What more could you want?

I love chicken and waffles, so I wanted to try the chicken and pancakes from Kerner Lane. I was not disappointed! They put a buffalo sauce on the pancakes and it was unexpectedly delicious! The mimosas were good as well! I will definitely be back!

I was on a short visit to Austin and had breakfast here with friends. This café lived up to it’s reputation. The cafe latte was delicious (had two) as were the blueberry pancakes. Even though they were super busy the service was excellent.

Had a great time when we went there to dinner a couple of Fridays ago. Good value, service and food. Will be returning.

Even though it was 10:30 we still had to wait for a table. It is so worth the wait though! We had a combination of breakfast and dinner options ordered at our table. That is the beauty of the 24 hour diner!

I ate here several hours after completing a 2K swim race in Austin. Daughter loves their pancakes, so we found ourselves sitting down with a packed crowd. I had the veggie omelet, hash browns, and black beans. I nibbled off my wife and daughter's plates. Reasonable prices; huge menu.

We came to this restaurant with high expectations and were sorely disappointed. The food is just mediocre, and the service is lacking. We ordered the breakfast platter and it was not good. The eggs were supposed to be scrambled but they came omelet style. The pancakes were dry and needed lots of butter to moisten. The biscuits and gravy was not good. The biscuits were not traditional biscuits! They were just some kind of bread with gravy thrown on top. The gravy was not flavorful or thick. The corned beef hash was dry and over cooked. The sausage we got on the side tasted good but it was dry. Our server was friendly but kept forgetting to bring us tea, tortillas, and coffee refills. It might have been his first day and he’s a nice kid, but he might need more training. Would not come here again.

I was on the UT campus for a program and one of the professors who teaches at UT took me and a group of film experts here for dinner. When I walked in it reminded me of Cafe Brazil back in Dallas but with a way better menu. The staff was very friendly and it was very hard to pick what to eat. Everything just looked and sounded very good. I went with the Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf. For me this was a real test. My mom and now me cook a mean meatloaf at home that comes from the pages of Southern Living Magazine from 1984. When the food came out it looked great. The meat loaf was wrapped in a very thick piece of bacon. The whole meal was great. Everything just melted in your mouth. Service was quick, food was great and the price did not break the bank. I will be back for sure when I am in town next.

Stopped in the S. Lamar location for lunch. This place gets very good reviews, so my wife and I decided to give it a try. The restaurant is nice and clean. Service was good and the food was the same. I wish something stood out so I could agree with the 'very good' rating most customers give it. I have no criticism, just walked away feeling that this location had a great wait staff and that the food was okay. You won't go wrong stopping in and it's a very good price for the meal.

Great breakfast menu from traditional fare to not so traditional. I had the Crispy Chicken Benedict and it was great. Service was great. The negative I have is the parking is very limited, but it is next to UT and a majority of the traffic is foot traffic but yet there was still no available parking onsite.

The food and service were wonderful at Kerbey Lane. My husband ordered the chicken and pancakes and I had the pumpkin bread French toast. We will definitely come back. The queso was great as well!

Terrible service and terrible time there. I went in by myself for dinner and I waited 10 minutes to be sat which was understandable as they were busy. What I did not appreciate was having to get my food brought to me incorrectly and I had to have them remake it and almost took an hour for them to bring it to me wrongly made again! I was so upset that I told them I did not want it and just left. Terrible service and terrible experience.

We lucked out with only about a 10 minute wait on our last day in town for a late breakfast/early lunch. Busy staff, but we enjoyed our variety of breakfast foods at the table like the brekfast tacos, french toast, bacon, pancake special, and eggs. The pancakes are ridiculously huge and a little too dense and dry for my liking, but still not bad. What stood out was the house made hummus and pita and chips and queso. Limited parking and be prepared for a wait or go at off hours. Wish we had known they were open 24 hours.

We stopped in for a late night meal. It was a 11pm and still a bunch of customers were filling the tables. I have always enjoyed Kerbey Lane. The queso is delicious! You have to also get the pancakes! It was very enjoyable! It hit the spot!

Coming here two days for breakfast during a 5-day Austin stay is a testament to this being a very nice place. We had oatmeal, pancakes, and omelettes, all good. If anything, we'd like to be able to get a bagel or leaner fare as well.

This place is very popular and I don't know why. We had to wait over a half hour to get seated. The service was enthusiastic but slow. I ordered the French toast that came with eggs and bacon. The bacon was just average. The eggs were cooked perfectly but the french toast was dry and tasteless. The order came with butter but only a very small amount. I had to flag down a server to get more. The maple syrup was not real which I expect from a place that markets itself as farm to table. Oh well. There are tons of restaurants that are better in Austin

Met a former professor of mine from UT for dinner and had a really enjoyable meal. Kerbey Lane has an eclectic menu and it was difficult to make a decision. I had the Fish Tacos--excellent with Grilled Mahi Mahi. The accompanying Black Beans and Rice were tasty. My companion had the Turkey Avocado Sandwich with Sweet Potato Fries. Very good. The next table ordered the Pumpkin Pancakes, which looked delicious. Friendly staff and parking lot. Reasonable prices for the quality of the food.

This is an Austin restaurant 'icon' that needs to be on any foodie's visit list. It's fresh, quality food at an affordable price. I had the classic eggs Francisco and it didn't disappoint. There's usually a line so be prepared.

The California Omlette is my absolute favorite. It has a mild spicy kick that is perfect! The iced tea is really good. Today was service was kind of slow and disjointed. Kinda like I was sitting in an awkwayolace outside where noone knew if I was there table or someone else's.

Great food in an old converted home. Staff was friendly and helpful. Need to come back to try their breakfast menu which is served all day as well.

I've been to the original Kerbey Lane many times and always enjoyed it. The Guadalupe location, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Dry, rubbery eggs, overcooked sausage, very slow service. Really disappointing.

This was my first visit to this location. I ordered the Greek Lamb Burger with sweet potato fries and water. The burger was dry and overcooked. The sweet potato fries were delicious. They don't have sweet tea- shame! The prices are decent. The service was slow and very inattentive. I guess since they are across from the university they don't worry about service.

I had the Paris special---French toast with an egg scramble smothered in delicious queso! Great interiors! This location is near UT

Food was amazing - totally worth the wait. Service was great too! tons of breakfast options, from healthy to sinful. Would highly recommend! Very glad our hotel concierge sent us here.

I had Kerby Lane sampler. Great food. Key Lime pancakes were sooooooo good and I normally don't order pancakes. Usually coffee in these places is like hot Brown water, not here! Tons of options omlettes breakfast tacos fresh fruit. I'll be back

This is supposed to be a trendy diner near the UT campus but I found it really disappointing. Nothing about the experience makes this place stand out among the dozens of "diner" style venues in Austin. Neither does it scream "UT". I found the food to be rather tasteless. For example, the chicken in my wife's panini was dry and rubbery. The toast that went with my incredibly overpriced omelette was burned. Seriously, how do you decide it's ok to serve a customer 4 slices of charred bread? All items on the menu are overpriced. Bottom line: There are better options on Guadalupe, both in terms of value and dining experiences.

My wife and I tried this place after not having been there for many years. We arrived on a Saturday morning, expecting a wait. We were seated promptly, after having to find parking 3 blocks away due to very limited parking adjacent to the facility. We had two waitpersons, Alex and Kyra. It was Kyra's first day and she was being trained. Both had great attitudes. It took a while to get food, as the place was really busy. When the food arrived, it was hot and delicious, and just as ordered. Highly recommended.

While visiting two of my sons in Austin, i was invited to eat at Kirby Lane Cafe, we decided it was closer to eat at the Guadalupe location. The meal was enjoyable, well done, and made to order, semi limited menu, but everyone enjoyed what was ordered. Breakfast menu was available all afternoon, atmosphere was trendy, parking was a challenge but nothing too bad. We all had a good time. Try the Bacon cheese burger, it was very good, as was the American classic, which one of my sons ordered.

Visited 2016-09-08. Blueberry pancake and pork sausage were very good. Iced tea was fresh and brisk.

We went for breakfast when we took our daughter to visit the University of Texas (across the street). It was a cute little local place - serves lunch and dinner also but we were here for breakfast. No wait on a Saturday morning around 9:30 a.m. Originally brought the wrong order but quickly fixed it. I would recommend for breakfast!

Stopped here for breakfast food was real good. If anything too much to eat. Worth a visit. Nice decor. I'd recommend this place.

Always great food at Kerbey Lane with an interesting, varied menu. Reasonable prices. Good service. Tight parking at this location.

We had dinner here while in Austin visiting UT. It's convenient to the campus and it has variety with something for everyone; however, the quality of the food is average .... nothing special. I would not seek out a Kerbey Lane Cafe. Service was o.k.. My son asked for the iced tea he ordered initially three times and finally gave up!

Is difficult to find good Mexican food , but this plate was really delicious , pretty close to Mexican authentic food .

Ourfamijly recently returned to Austin after a long period away. We re-visited Kerbey lane on the drag and we rewarded with an excellent meal coupled with excellent service from Whitney. Kerbey Lane is our family's "go-to" breakfast spot in Austin. Mike and Mattie

We visited for lunch today and it was awesome. Great chicken fried chicken and meat loaf. It was busy but had good service.

This place is casual but the queso is top notch. It is probably the best queso I have ever tasted. My chicken sandwich was delicious and the service was great.

I visited this place during the weekend of "Levitation 2016" for lunch. It was really good, we waited for a table no more than 10 minutes and the food was great. Nice vibes and the portions are good. The Texas Paris platter is awesome

Great breakfast that was too much to finish. James was very kind and fast. Good selection of specialized and contemporary fare. Food was delicious (although the breakfast cook needs to learn the difference between eggs over well and over hard). Call ahead reservations and phone tracking makes for convenient waiting. Will be back.

We went to Kirbey Lane a little later on a Sunday. My boyfriend got the veggie chili and I got the chicken fried steak. The dish was supposed to come with a biscuit, potatoes, broccoli, and the chicken. I asked for extra broccoli, and when my plate came, the waitress mentioned they were out of biscuits but she would see if they could sub the broccoli charge for the biscuit. When the bill came, no mention. When I asked about it, she said they took a whopping 50 cents off my bill. A little disappointing, since the dish was supposed to have a biscuit and didn’t; and yet I was still charged for my broccoli. The food wasn’t really good, although my boyfriend liked his chili. My broccoli was clearly old, with some of it rotting. Wouldn’t go back, there are a million other better places in the area.

Great location just across from the UT campus. It was recommended to us by a friend so we decided to check it out after our prospective student tour. Our daughter is temporarily in a wheelchair and it is tight inside the restaurant but it is accessible and the staff was helpful in getting us situated. Why would I recommend Kerbey Lane Cafe? The food is excellent but the best part for us was the variety in the menu. We are a family who almost never agree on what we want and they've got something for everyone. I don't eat beef and my family craves the stuff. So, we all got something that appealed to us at that moment. The teenage son had blueberry swirl pancakes, which were delicious. Teenage daughter had the Queso Philly sandwich, which she really enjoyed. My hubs had a unique pork sandwich with marinara. It was quite good. And I had the green chili chicken mac. It was AWESOME! LOVED THE BATTER/BREADING ON THE CHICKEN! And the green chili mac and cheese was the bomb. Everyone was begging for more of mine after they tasted it! The food definitely earned 5 stars. Also, our waiter, Tyler, was so nice. He gave us great suggestions, was patient with us, and answered a few questions about UT. Too bad he's leaving for grad school because he is an asset! Good luck studying Russian, Tyler! Go to Kerbey Lane Cafe...I can't imagine you would be disappointed!!!

I went here for a business dinner. Loved the food - I had a veggie burger. Reasonably priced and large portions (may be because it's Tx?). The ambience is more of a diner like and not business-y at all, which could be great depending on the purpose of the trip. Friendly service and generally clean.

We come up from San Antonio to run the Annual Capital 10k race. Usually we like to have a post race meal before we head back home. Friends of ours, who come up to Austin frequently, recommended Kerbey Lane Cafe. Parking was difficult on a busy late Sunday morning and the wait was supposed to be about 30 to 45 minutes, but luckily we were seated in about 15 minutes. Could not believe the service. Our waitress was unbelievable. The night before we had a pre-race meal at one of the better restaurants in downtown and the service could not stack up against our service at Kerbey Lane. The breakfast brunch meal hit the spot, and our waitress kept our coffee and drinks refills brimming to the top.

Our 3rd visit to Kerbey Lane. The food is very good and the service has always been top notch. I enjoy talking to the staff about things to do in Austin. It does get a little crowded so expect a wait during peak times. They have their own parking lot which is a plus in that area.

I suggest Denny's over this place. It's often very crowded and squished in here. Their prices are really high, especially considering their food isn't really above average taste either. Their waiters and waitresses could use a little grooming, too (Hair cuts, tattoo removals, etc.)

Stopped in with my son and granddaughter for supper. I thought their menu choices were limited for everything except breakfast. Had the chicken fried steak which was okay because I did not really like their gravy...seemed like it was made with lots of cream which I thought took away from the chicken fried steak. Service was okay and the restaurant was clean with a nice atmosphere.

This may be one of my new fave spots in Austin! They not only have their vegan options clearly marked in the menu, but they also have suggestions throughout to make the rest of their food vegan friendly... it’s awesome and they have vegan cake! The Cowboys “Queso” is made with noosh and a bit spicy, but delicious!!

Another favorite of ours! I love to get the Paris Texas plate. I get the Migas smothered in queso and substitute the French toast for a flavored pancake. (They make their own pancake syrup which I personally think tastes terrible but if you ask, they will bring you a small container of another syrup that tastes better).

Delicious food. Quick service. Everyone is friendly. Lots of options. Large vegan menu that is separate and a lot of dishes are vegetarian or can be made vegetarian if requested which is awesome. One of the guys in my group is vegan and he said its some of the best vegan food he's had -- he was very impressed. Very busy on a Sunday morning but we were seated quickly and there was minimal waiting. Great place. Highly recommended. Will def come here again when in the area.

They are busy, but courteous and friendly. Great price for the food you get. I tend to stick to a few favorites but I tried some new things and love them!!!

Ate at this restaurant for the first time on my recent visit to UT to see our daughter. We all had a different dish. I would say the food is good but not great. We ate there for the convenience of near campus. The tables were not cleaned off quickly so you had dirty dishes around you but our waiter was fantastic and brought anything we needed asap.

We visited Austin and wanted to try and it was a huge disappointment. We arrived and were told 15-20 min wait. The wait was 50 min. My wife ordered the Smoked Salmon Benedict which she enjoyed for the most part. However I ordered the American Classic and it was a disaster. The meal began with a young lady delivering the food by literally throwing the plates down on the table. My wife remarked that it was something you see straight out of a movie. On my dish the eggs, potatoes, and sausage, were all cold. I ordered a side of toast. It was COLD. The only bright spot was instead of fruit I swapped out Italian Creme Pancakes which were nice. Our regular waiter was attentive and did a good job. But the staff in the restaurant seemed chaotic and poorly managed. I would choose another place for your dinning experience.

Had a big party of people, it took a while but they got us seated together. Great Service, big portions.

Had the sausage eggs and French toast. The sausage portion was small but very tasty. Service was good. Clean and neat cafe. Busy for the early morning. Looks like a mix of college students and locals. Would come again.

I'm going to be honest here: I hate spending money on breakfast. Unless a restaurant can get really creative, it seems like a $5 fried egg tastes the same as a $14 egg, which all taste the same as my $0.12 egg that I can make in faster time at my house! But this place has some AMAZING creations for breakfast! I couldn't decide so I let the waitress pick her favorite. So I got Migas and it was good! Everyone got something different and the dishes were a hit. And they were HUGE! We liked the texting option for the wait. It was cold and raining so we were able to wait in our car for 30 minutes. Heads up though, they do have a parking lot but it is small. We waited a few minutes for a spot to open up. Sunday brunch Mimosas are cheaper than orange juice I found out. The food came out so fast and the service was good.

We hosted a rehearsal dinner for family and friends and can't say enough about the friendliness, helpfulness and excellent service we enjoyed. Merlin was professional and personable and regularly checked in (learning our names!) to make sure things were going well. Bridget was a great, efficient server. She was cheerful and flexible taking drink and food orders for a large group of people. It was a pleasure to work with all the Kerbey Lane University staff and our guests loved their food and drinks. Many thanks!

This used to be my staple for breakfast. You used to be able to get freshly squeezed juices and the best omelette short of my own, anywhere. The food has drastically changed. I don’t know if they got bought out. But nothing was the same. Worst breakfast ever. Omelette dry and no flavor offerings changed to generic, Kirby queso changed and was flavorless, and no fresh squeezed juice offered any longer. As an Austinite, it’s a shame to see one of our Austin brands take the corporate food chain mentality. Now it’s worse than even IHOP. And I never thought that possible! Another one bites the dust and it’s a terrible thing.

My husband and I are lucky enough to have schedules that aren't "normal" so we have the opportunity to visit here during non-peak times. We discovered on our last visit that kids eat free on Tuesdays! Wonderful surprise. The good is always great! Service is always moderate. We seem to either have a great hostess and average server or vice versa. In fact our server this last time was the best in three visits!

This was our first experience at Kerbey Lane Cafe on Guadalupe. We had been pleased with meals on Lamar, so we expected better. The tomato pie was barely edible. The crust was mushy. The spare rib sandwich was strange. We cannot recommend this location.

Standard TX fare served in a down home style. Be prepared to wait to be seated during meal times and in between, too.

Another great visit to a family favorite! We visited the day after Christmas and were literally the only ones in the place! Great food- we love the pumpkin GF pancakes and others loved the French Toast. My kids love the free cinnamon swirl added to their pancakes! Our server was amazing and delivered adorable drawings of our family with the check. Great experience!

I needed a small private room for an intimate dinner reception following a wedding. After researching TONS of restaurants in Austin area, I contacted this KLC location. They have a private room to the side with both booth and long table like seating. There is a small hourly room charge and no minimum food/drink cost. The private area outlooks the parking lot area and is still beautiful. We had a great time and enjoyed the delicious food! They also contacted and coordinated with my baker for the cake delivery! Merlin sent me a message earlier in the day to inform me that my cake had arrived. I highly recommend this location for intimate. Laid-back group gatherings!

We were seated in a corner window table ... my Texas-Ex class of '82 wife could look down the drag and reminisce...perfect. We brought our youngest daughter here after she saved her best friend's life from near drowning. Taking a break from sitting in the ICU, praying. Our service and food was great: blueberry pancakes, Greek chicken, eggs and hash.Thank you Kerry Lane Cafe for picking up our energy and our spirits!

Nothing particularly inventive (esp. for Austin) - but the food is very good, staff is friendly and efficient. This location is perfect if staying at the Moxy near UofT. (Two steps away.)

Tofu scrambled with veggies and nutritional yeast. Special vegan pancakes (hint of cinnamon and peach), and two seed patties is a modest $9.50. One of my favorite places in Austin for breakfast. Lot of college kid; apparently open 24 hours a day. All the coffee you can drink. Parking is a nightmare, so forget it. I parked 5 blocks away and walked (highly advised). Wait staff fantastic and management rounds at least once to confirm you are happy.

The pancakes are PERFECT!!! Sweetish with crispy edges..how do you guys do it??? The Kerbey Queso is super and the chips are good too-like really light and crispy. Something worth trying is the Tomato Pie, it was delish!!! Our waitress wasn't that attentive, but we still got decent service because all the other wait staff stepped up.

Great place for breakfast. Moderately priced and super large pancakes!! I had the oatmeal with fresh fruit. Indoor and outdoor seating. Very clean.

Kerby Lane has been an Austin landmark for many years. It lives up to its reputation, with good food, excellent service, and reasonable prices.

Truly enjoyed the Brekkie. They have a seasonal menu and year round menu. I had the “All American Breakfast” with sausage and poached eggs, bacon and toast. It was absolutely delicious. Very busy location on Guadalupe street!

Enjoying time with our recent UT graduate, we indulged ourselves with wonderfully decadent pancakes with a cinnamon swirl, crispy bacon, and flavorful mimosas. Always a consistent Austin vibe in atmosphere and service, although parking was limited, and demand was great, with a variety of clientele, so with a bit of a wait, but well worth it.

We went on Saturday morning around 9:40am. I had a red quinoa salad and it was delicious! The portion was big and it was delicious! My daughter had pancakes and she loved it. Atmosphere is very nice and we enjoyed our breakfast. By the time we left around 11, there were a lot of people waiting outside. This place is popular so I would suggest avoid the peek time.

Stopped in here for a bite.....food was decent, service was OK, atmosphere of other's was great! Austin has friendly, awesome people! The price was a little high but in all fairness I'm from Arizona and don't know the prices here in Austin....I would try this place again say a year from now.....

Three of went here for breakfast and enjoyed it very much. Menu is very well done, with just about anything you could want. Service was friendly and prompt. Parking is an issue, but there's nothing they can about that. All in all, a great restaurant.

If you are looking for an authentic Texas spot for breakfast, and where the locals eat, this is a great choice! A friend who attends UT took us here for breakfast, and the food was wonderful! It is usually very crowded, and my only complaint is that parking is TERRIBLE. However, our meals made up for the stressful parking situation!

The food is great and the servers are very friendly. Call ahead to put your name down or you will wait. Very popular place because very good.

My sister a friend and I were in a midnight tour in Austin downtown, someone recommended to have dinner at Kerbey lane, so we did it and was the best!!! Food is amazing, I had the pesto chicken which was a great surprise, well done and delicious

I had only eaten at the Kirbey Lane location but loved this one. Right by campus, great food, staff was great. Parking was a little crazy but was worth it.

Tons of choices, many healthy choices, vegetarian etc....fresh food, great coffee and great staff. I'd definitely eat here next time I'm in the area.

I've had my share of great and bad dining experiences all over the world. I've eaten in local great dives and top Michelin rated restaurants. However, I had one of the best (if not the best) eating experiences at this Kerbey Lane Café. I had a 20' wait and contemplated every minute of the wait about leaving. So grateful that I didn't leave. The breakfast meal I had was absolutely "AWESOME." The food ingredients are primarily sourced from local vendors. So everything was fresh, tasty and just down right delicious. However, it didn't stop there. Our wait staff - Audria (spelling may not be correct) was just great. There is nothing better than eating great food and having wait staff that is very customer-centric (just genuine smiles and engagement). They anticipated our needs and just made the whole breakfast dining experience "AWESOME." I must admit that I've talked about Kerbey Lane Café every day since Saturday. I just wish they would open one near me in northwest Houston. Go early and enjoy the food and customer service pampering. They have a great menu (very creative - just great food combination and preparation).

This place has a vegan platter (which is more than the standard fruit and water based oatmeal). It came with vegan pancakes, good seed sausages, and a tofu scramble. All delicious. Black coffee was good too. Highly recommend it for vegans looking for a hot breakfast!

This is a must when you visit Austin!!! The service was great and the food was too! The blueberry pancakes are amazing!!!!

Walked up here from downtown hotel, about 2 miles, and well worth it. No real diner options in downtown area, and this has great menu. Food and service were very good. Will add it to rotation!

Visiting family in Texas and went to Kerbey Lane Cafe for the first time. It was absolutely a delicious breakfast. Lots of menu options and not the standard breakfast you get everywhere else. You have choices that offer a variety of flavors and a spin on the typical breakfast dishes. The portions are huge. This is definitely a must every time we're visiting in Texas. There was a wait list when we arrived but within 15 minutes we were seated. Even though they were very busy, it did not affect the service. They were very attentive to all out needs. We were a group of six.

Dined at Kerbey’s after seeing Spring Awakening at UT Austin. I loved that there was a parking lot and I didn’t have to search for street parking. We did have to wait a bit before our waitress made an appearance, but once we saw her she took good care of us. I ordered the chilaquiles with chicken. It was a large entree and was very good! Lots of good flavors but I did add a touch of cholula for added heat. Check out in the pic what the waitress drew on my receipt! 💙 Nice little surprise! I would dine here again while in town!

Back a few years ago, this place had pretty good food. My recent visit left me wondering who would think this food is any good. I had tofu scramble tacos with black beans. I could only eat one or two bites before deciding that it was too gross to eat. We also had a Vegan Kerbey Queso, which was alright, but nothing special.

Love their pancakes here and recently saw that HEB store sells a line of Kerbey Lane pancake mixes..my fave is the lemon poppyseed but my Aunt loves the gingerbread..the Migas are great as is the French toast..I could go on and on..it's ALL good..and the service has been excellent every time we come into Austin to eat there..

There were five women in our party and everyone raves about their breakfast choices. We had both orange and cranberry mimosas which were a decent ratio of bubbly to juice and quite tasty. We also had the Kerbey queso which had a scoop of guacamole on top. It seems as though we had quest everywhere we went over the weekend and this was everyone's favorite. Our waitress was great - patient with all our questions and very attentive. Even volunteered water to go which was much appreciated in the heat of the day! If there was a Kerbey Lane in the Chicago area, it would certainly become one of our regular breakfast spots!

My UT son has been trying to get us to Kerbey Lane over the past several visits and we finally made it! We came here for breakfast and, boy, was it good! We had a mix of breakfast food (banana pudding pancakes) and lunch food (salmon tacos). All of the food was amazing. Our waitress was adorable and did caricatures of us on our to-go boxes and bill. So cute! Will definitely return the next time we're in Austin.

My favorite breakfast place in Austin..Can't go wrong wtih Mimosa's and pancakes. Great menu. Great Atmosphere!

Breakfast for lunch. How can you go wrong! I was surprised to see several not good reviews. Our experience was excellent. Food was delicious and service was fast and friendly. Texas Benedict with black beans for me and cinnamon swirl pancakes for my wife and we both had breakfast cocktails. Maybe since UT was on break, place was not crowded. It lived up to reputation for us.

Very popular restaurant. Always a crowd and often there is a wait but well worth it. Th food is very good. My favorites are the queso and chips, and short ribs. Very good panninis.

We were greeted at the door by the wonderful manager, Natalie, and she was cheerful and friendly. Joanne was our server, and she was super nice, gave great suggestions, and we throughly enjoyed speaking with her & getting to know her. The queso was the most delicious we’ve ever had, the fried avocado tacos were delicious, and we wish we could’ve saved room to try desert, but we were so full already! RUN, do not walk, to this wonderful place! BEST STAFF EVER!

I had heard good things about the breakfast here but didn't find the food to be any better than average. The service was brusque and one waitress was wearing clothing that was inappropriate for food service.

We've just moved to Austin, and I had been introduced to Kerbey Lane for a breakfast meeting and then was treated to lunch one day. So I took my wife for Sunday Brunch, telling her how good my meals had been, and sure enough, we enjoyed another delicious meal at Kerbey Lane. John took excellent care of us - coffee was quickly brought to the table, and he answered all our questions about the variety of dishes on the menu. My wife ordered the Guajuillo Tacos and I had the Pear & Bacon Panini. We were able to split the meals - each of us having a taco and half of the panini - and we complemented each other on making excellent choices. Each dish was a savory blend of tastes that was a Goldilocks kind of meal - not too spicey and not bland, but just right!!!

Great food! First time visiting in Austin and fell in love with this little place. Food was amazing and the staff equally as impressive. Pancakes were fabulous!

Just love this brand. WiFi, restrooms, credit card facilities. Parking outside. It’s so easy to enjoy this place. We came here for breakfast and noted the cheap price for the massive portion you get. Bottomless coffee. Amazingly kid friendly layout. Outdoor seating. A nice staple!

Doesn't matter the time of day, Kerby serves breakfast. Fall menu is in season. I've gotten hooked on their Pumpkin French Toast platter. Comes with butter n syrup, bacon, & eggs. Added sugar powder on the French toast, not too sweet. The toast taste just like pumpkin bread. So delicious. Normally order the cranberry juice on side. Platter is enough for one but can also lead to left overs. Service was good, servers are always friendly here. Best to make reservation, place always fills up.

Son took wife & I for Mother's Day Brunch. Great food, wonderful service, and they have a gluten-free menu too!

Friendly and convenient, a breakfast stop at Kerbey Lane proved to be an important addition to my culinary experiences in Austin. My perfunctory order of Migas was accompanied by rice and black beans, a queso (so smooth) and a green chile cream sauce (so delicious), combined ....to make a most memorable breakfast. Great coffee, too Service was delightful and efficient. Gotta give'em 5☆☆☆☆☆.

Due to food sensitivities, there was little on the menu that I could eat except the avocado tacos. Fortunately, they were fabulous! Their beans were too spicy for me to eat, but the tacos were super yum.

"The original" The best!Always friendly and always open. Mow get yalls butts up to Round Rock and straighten them out. No worries, there beyond saving, see all of you tomorrow!

Wanwisa was so sweet and attentive! All the food was good and the kids eat free deal was great. There was an annoying fly, but it wasn’t too big of a negative.

My husband and I have eaten here on both of our visits to Austin. It is definitely delicious food at a reasonable price. This time I had the special - Strawberry Pancakes, along with a tofu breakfast stir fry dish that was delicious. My husband had a chicken pesto panini and sweet potato fries. Everything was cooked to order and served at just the right temperature when it came to the table. The service was efficient, so we were able to eat and get on with our day.

We chose Kerbey Lane Cafe based on the reviews and the interesting looking menu. The building itself was bright and there were a lot of customers already eating, so all the signs looked good. We were seated and served by a couple of friendly staff members and ordered drinks. For breakfast I ordered the Texas Benedict, sounded very tasty on the menu, however when it can out the food was warm rather than hot and apart from the queso sauce the rest of the meal didn't have much flavour/seasoning. The home fries were fine. I think this restaurant was more catered to the healthy side of the menu including vegetarian and gluten free options.

Very good casual American restaurant in the university area where parking is not easy to find and costly, so the free parking in the adjoining lot is an added bonus. Inner part of dining room feels a bit dark and tables a bit too close together but the booth and banquette seats along the windows are bright and quite pleasant. Service was efficient. Food good too, my fish tacos were super delicious with tasty corn tortillas.

Yum! This was an excellent choice for breakfast or brunch. I definitely recommend any of their pancakes. The service was nice and the food was even better.

Bring s book, or your phone, or a friend‘ cause you will wait to get a table then longer to get service. We were seated outside in the heat, but were never asked if patio seating was okay. We waited to be greeted. They ran out of all diet drinks -and this was early in the day. then, we waited to have our food order to be taken, for our food to arrive then again for our check. If you are in a hurry, get your order to go. And, yes, we had made a reservation ahead of time. That said, the food was so good. The lemon pancakes are a must. You can’t go wrong with the CowboyQueso either. Maybe a different location than the one off Hey 183 would be faster.

First time there. Wanted someplace close by for a quick dinner and this filled the bill. They’re open 24/7 and serve breakfast all day. Oddly enough, all five of us ordered breakfast. I had the baked potato omelet, which was good. Everyone else had either eggs or pancakes and their meals were “OK”. Just typical diner food. Service was very good though.
Perfect brunch spot
Download their app and put your name on the list an hour ahead of time if you want to go on a Sunday morning(you might need to call and get details on that). Prices are very good for the area and food is fresh and delicious.
