If you’re not part of the fake nightlife industry FORGET 100% coming here EVEN WITH A RESERVATION. I repeat, even with a reservation; do not bother coming here for a special occasion. These are the types of places that give Miami a bad name. My boyfriend made a reservation for his 30th Birthday 34 DAYS AHEAD of time and confirmed the day before per their email. This was such a special occasion, we had rented a Yacht for his birthday and we all pulled up to their dock right on time for the reservation. However, they canceled on us while we were out on the water with no reason or a heads up and made up a bunch of ridiculous excuses until they finally owned up to it but still refused to sit us. We tried talking to the managers but their customer service was absolutely unacceptable and not helpful. If you want to have a good time for a special occasion, be sure to stay away from this place and do not waste your time.

Very good environment, great service! It really displeased me that we could only sit at the table for 2 hours. Even though I made a reservation. We were just finishing our bottle of drink and finishing our dinner when we were told that the time limit at the table was 2 hours. Despite the qualities that the restaurant offers, for this time limit, which is not enough for me, I would not go back to the restaurant. I took a couple of customers out to dinner and was embarrassed that we had to get up without finishing dinner.

Unfortunately the worst place in Miami! The food was absolutely disgusting. The service wasn’t capable for anything. Don’t recommend it!

The dress code for a Saturday night was not specified before arrival mind you we made these reservations a month ahead of time coming wayyy from NJ to eat at this “amazing” place, we were denied entrance. Then after changing our attire we still didn’t receive any respect from the manager he was rude and nasty I was more worried about somebody spitting in my food, when I finally got my food it was cold didn’t even want to eat anymore also the bathroom toilet was leaking dookie water this is NOT the place to go when visiting Miami this WILL be the reason I don’t come back! HORRIBLE management and HORRIBLE attitudes.

Kiki on the River has a beautiful location but, the prices are not worth what you get. You will be charge $10 for every bottle of water that they bring to your table which is done so without you asking and there is an $18 rate for any drink you order. My appetizer was much better than my entree and I would recommend Kiki On The River for cute pictures, a drink, and an app, other than that, I’d pass.

If you want to have a family dinner… stay away from this place… I went with my family and friends to have a good time but instead one of the employees a ASIAN MEN THAT wears a white jacket PUSHED ME on the way out for no reason, when I stopped him expecting an apology…… my mistake I was treated like garbage very rude EMPLOYEES, please Miami is full of beautiful places and better people go somewhere else DO NOT Waste Your money food is terrible!!! And $$$$!!!! This is like a TOURIST TRAP

Pros: 1. Very big portions 2. Food is fresh 3. Eating here is good for your social status. 4. If your rich and looking for sugar babies this is the place. Cons: 1. Parking is a mad house. 2. Food and drinks are ridiculously overpriced. 3. Atmosphere is the fake vein Miami you see on tv. 4. More like a club than a restaurant. 5. Space is way too small for the amount of people they seat so everyone is on top of everyone amid COVID. 6. 21% service charge is given even if you receive no service or horrible service. 7. Full of sugar babies looking for sugar daddies. 8. While food was fresh it was all bland except chocolate mousse. 9. $12 for a bottle of water with more for refills is crazy these days. 10. Your forced to valet $$ as theres no traditional parking. This place is faker than a $3 dollar bill. Owner makes a killing of off vanity and hype which in miami is easy to take advantage of. This is a glorified club not a restaurant, if your looking for future child support, alimony, spousal support and a sugar daddy this play is for you. We spent $1850 and I honestly would have preferred outback or long horns for $150.00

We pulled up in our super car. When we arrived they turned us both down, because we had flips on. And decent casual clothes on. The day after, we made a reservation and when we came in looking all dress up for them, we literally saw so many people wearing sneakers and flip flops and we here thinking really? They turned us down and not them? Seriously? They didn’t even park our car in the front. They parked it in the back. We had a really nice car. The food was good, but we felt like we paid way more then what we had ordered.

The most awful customer service we have ever experienced! We had a table booked for 10pm, and en route to the venue, we received an email asking us to change our arrival to 9:30pm? This time had already passed and note they did not try to call and tell us this. On arrival, the hostess left us standing in the middle of the restaurant for about 10 minutes, with no explanation of the hold up. When we enquired as to why there was a delay and why we had been left standing there, we were told they were just making a table up for us. Bar another 4 tables with customers, every other table in the restaurant was empty. Once seated, our waiter told us the kitchen was closing in 5 minutes, despite us having a booking for 10pm?? Why would you let us make a booking for this time if the kitchen was closing. When we asked how this could be the case, the waiter replied that the Chef had put on their group chat that he wanted to close the kitchen. Entirely unprofessional. We then asked to speak to the manager about the shortened kitchen time and service so far, and we were met with a man who was aggressive with his attitude and responses and entirely disinterested in fielding any of our concerns. Instead, he chose to highlight the fact what we were a few minutes late (but still within the grace period and entirely their rules) and that the kitchen would be closing regardless and there was nothing they could do. He then walked off in a visible strop and shrugging his shoulders and gesturing to other waiters that we were a nuisance. We proceeded to order our food, half of which came 10 minutes before the rest of the table being served their food. By the time the second lot of food arrived, half the table had already finished eating. Whilst we ate staff were packing away around us, taking a lights off our table, sweeping around our feet etc. We were served the bill and we wanted to take the service charge off and individually give our waiter a good tip as none of the issues were his fault and he did the best he could. He wasn’t sure if this was possible so we spoke to the manager once again. When we explained what we would like to do and why, he didn’t even reply. He (the manager) just stomped away without saying a word, leaving us entirely unsure of the outcome. A few minutes later we were given a new bill without the service charge and we tipped our waiter separately. An awful service with a manager who doesn’t seem to care about customer service and respect and very average food with a high price point. There was no atmosphere or party vibe as is advertised. Believe the reviews you read and go to Komodo instead!

Food is greek! So you know what we are talking about. They have a lot of waiters, but they do not know what to do! They escort you at the table in a unique way! The view is amazing!!! Of course unfortunately Miami prices Overpriced 3 times on what it should have been

Neyadis best and most attentive bartender in Kiki. Five stars. As for her when you go. Best drinks best smile best experience

Meh….Currently sitting here as I write this review. I’m not impressed. Absolutely love the decor…The DJ and river views are a vibe but the food at this price point could/should have been much better. Definitely not what I thought it would be.

We arrived and they told us we need to change our shoes 👞 but there were people with white gym shoes they allowed inside with white gym shoes and casual clothes when we had on dresses. I’m disgusted and won’t ever return to such an establishment. The only difference was the color of our skin. Black patrons don’t matter.

This place is designed to be a gathering spot for friends and family with really good (party kind of) music and dj We got some wine and bunch of appetizers to share. For main course we had 2 Toma hawks and some sides to share between 8 people. Finished it with Amaro Montenegro and baklava for dessert 👌🏼😋

This restaurant is an absolute scam. I booked a table here 34 day’s before my 30th birthday. I called again the next day to confirm. I confirmed the day before our reservation per their email that it was my birthday and their website told me “thank you for confirming, we look forward to seeing you”. We arrived at 8pm on time, on our boat, and they told me that my reservation was canceled. I never cancelled, this absolutely ruined my birthday. This place is an absolute joke. Don’t waste your time. Every person that works here is either rude and/or incompetent of delivering any type of true customer service. 1 star, thumbs down, awful business.

I was looking forward to my first time dinner experience @ Kiki's 2/12. No doubt it's a beautiful setting but the service was subpar. A 21% tip is already added to the tab so no motivation for the wait staff to provide good service. In my humble opinion, Olive Garden, Applebee's & Chili's provide better service. The food took a long time yet the quality & flavor didn't make up for the bad service & long wait. We ordered a grilled bass for 2 & it was very blandn & soggy. Nothing exceptional. We asked for salt & the waitress forgot about it. I will not be coming back. Overall a very bad yet expensive experience.

Have visited before. Great location, watching boats go up and down the river. Nice ambiance but absolutely terrible service and very average food. Also hellishly expensive. $245++ for a bottle of non vintage Veuve Cliquot. Took over an hour to get our Entree cleared. People arrived and left in that time. Utterly chaotic. The security staff are dreadful narcissists - entirely graceless. The bar staff are completely useless at making cocktails. I have never seen so little energy put into shaking the drink. Nice enough people but they were obviously there for the aesthetic rather than to provide credible bar service. Lunchtime is better but in the evening it is just a cattle market for identikit women. Overall the place has great potential but we were bitterly disappointed.

The service was impeccable thanks to Javier. Attentive, kind and always with a smile. He attended to every detail without being intrusive, made excellent recommendations, and made us feel at home. It's a pleasure to find staff with such vocation and human qualities. Thank you for making our experience even more special!

Lol. So, I was dragged along here with my wife and some young women because of Instagram madness. I read the TA reviews and I was more than hesitant. I looked at the price point and I was ready to back out entirely, I’m happy we did not. I usually hate these places as I too find them kind of pretentious but we had a great experience from the second we got there until we left. Doorman was huge and kind. Hostess was sexy and just snobby enough. Our waiter ( Eddy) was kind and very earnest. Drinks were cool and amazing tasting. Food was ok but acceptable ( if you are coming for the food, you don’t get it) Decor was amazing! Beautiful people all over, dressed to impress. We took the obligatory picture ( 40 bucks) got a little tipsy and left happy. This is a restaurant to see and be seen and totally packed on a Thursday with short skirts and shorter everywhere. Some people will not get it but most will.

Food was ok and scene interesting but attitude of staff, particularly the hostess was awful. Hostess tonite was downright rude. Expect more when spending at a place like this. Plenty of other options in Miami

The security guy towering , is lack of thought in tourists. The guy wants a bribe for the entrance. Good luck

Agree with previous review that I’d have rather given this place a 0. What a pretentious joint! From the moment we were valet parking our car ($25) to the security guard saying the women in our group couldn’t get in because they were wearing “sandals”. Clearly they were not happy to have our business. Once we got past security they tried to stick 8 of us into a table for 6. We asked for another table and again they gave us one that would have been very tight. Then one of the waiters told one of us to “chill” when we balked at the small table. I’ve never felt less wanted in a restaurant. The place was empty at 8:15pm at night. Given the rudeness of every single employee we encountered we were quite happy to just leave. This is obviously a “cool” place to hang out and be seen, but when you are clearly not wanted it’s best to just leave. Finally the music was playing so loud that you couldn’t have had a conversation even with the person right next to you. I would never recommend a place like this to anyone and only people with more money than common sense would even consider the place.

The food was amazing and the service and the view to die for . The atmosphere was relaxing and at the same time joyful. If you go there, ask for Maryori and Ernesto they were our service , and they where Amazing, attentive and caring. The food was on time and the music was pleasant.

Outstanding dining experience in an impressively chicly decorated and relaxing environment. Red carpet service where your every wish is satisfied. I highly recommend this waterside Mediterranean restaurant loaded with flair. The grilled branzino with truffle fries along with the zucchini chips you absolutely have to try. This is indeed a gem of a eatery

The view is amazing, the workers were nice. The ladies that work in the bathroom are kind and patient. The tall African American security guard in the front was very funny and nice, he made my night. The background music was nice, this was a vibe. The only complaint I have is that the food was overpriced and it was not that good.

Stay far away If someone is amazed by ignited ethanol on dishes for instagram stories - this is the place for you. Mediocre at best, watered up drinks, useless waiters. The highlight of the dinner was a randomly appearing magician at the table. (The magician was amazing) I think he is employed to make you forget the rip-off you are experiencing. It is not normal to crave for a place because celebrities attend. Stay far away!!

This is one of the best night club settings in Miami. Don’t think of this as a restaurant and focus on the food. This is a super cool place to have a nightclub that is open air, bomb yachts and fire music.

This place has it all! Great food, drinks, beautiful setting on the river. Great music!! We had a great time! Best Greek food in 😄😄ttown, but the baklava is not good here!

The food was just ok but the staff made the entire evening worth it. Alberto went above and beyond for us & made our experience so great. The crab cakes tasted like cat food.

My fiancé and I went to dinner at Kiki on the river and what an experience. Our waitress Michelle and waiter Augusto were absolutely amazing, George the manager was amazing, the drinks were delicious, the vibe was so cool, the music was the best party music and the food was incredible!!!!!! Highly highly recommend!!!! We will be back.

I had a very disappointing experience at Kiki on the beach. The place was absolutely mobbed with people, mostly teenagers with deep pockets. It’s very expensive and it’s more a club than a restaurant. We had to wait for a very long time for the table. We were told to wait at the bar for them to get the table ready snd after half an hour we were told that we had to wait another 2 hours!!! We told the hostess we would have left rather than wait but she acted as if she didn’t really care. Generally the main concern is the lack of ventilation in this absolutely insanely packed place with absolutely no one wearing a mask (not one single person of the staff either). The line for the toilets was huge and in a very tight corridor. I mean it felt incredibly unsafe even wearing a mask. We had nice waiter but unfortunately this didn’t change the overall extremely poor experience of the place. On top of this we had to listen to super loud trashy music and have dry ice sprayed on us constantly as our neighbours kept ordering bottles of champagne and this was the way of greeting them. Really bad!

I love his attention he was super atennted the besttttt Javier y angelo I wil Always come back because he’s service was amazing 👌🏻

Great spot for your Insta account. Nice spot on the water with amazing mood lighting. Loud music and big yachts passing by. The food is Ok… and the bartenders know exactly what they are doing. But not a spot for a nice meal out.

Oysters great tzatiki with fried zucchini great. Salad good. Double pork entre DRY. Should have just had apps. Atmosphere awesome. Belly dancers great! DJ Honestly I’m spoiled he sucked ... and on a Saturday night. This is not greek. No no no. Muslim. Indian. Etc. wouldn’t go again. Sea spice. Much btr . DJ. Awesome. Food better

We had lunch there , the atmosphere is amazing with loud music and good vibes. The seating is letrely by the river , the tables are big and can handle from 2 people to 12 . The bar area in the middle had all the fun and the buzz . The food is decent with so many varaiaties.

Really, really expensive food. Not really Greek, just a BASIC steak house. Location nice, but food and service below average. So many better restaurants in Miami!

Dining at this restaurant was an incredible experience! The staff were amazing and they were on top of everything. The atmosphere was amazing! Great music if you love to dance and have a fun time! Perfect place to celebrate special occasions! Would definetly go back with friends and family.

Besides our server Annie, the whole staff was very rude, it’s like they’re doing you a favor to let you be there

So disappointed that we were out in a corner behind a wall for our anniversary dinner. Told the hostess beforehand and the waitress and no one did anything to fix it or celebrate our occasion. Felt kicked out after our meal and overall wasn’t impressed for the almost $400 bill we received. Should have done better Kiki. I won’t be coming back when we’re in town again nor will I recommend to my local friends.

Located in worst area of Miami. The the restaurant is pretentious overpriced with the worst service and attention to detail I have ever experienced . If you want to go to a place to to be seen ( by no one as it’s like not frequented by influencers at all ) if that’s what you’re looking for and can bypass gourmet cuisine and Service and are willing to be robbed with the price for food & drinks then this is a place for you totally overpriced in the worst location in Miami with the worst service ever I have experienced, and if by chance a boat happens to dock in front of a restaurant, you’ll have zero view of yes Miami River, which is nothing to look at

My wife and I and another couple decided to head to Miami Beach for a long weekend. We are no strangers to Miami, so we understand what to expect. Made dinner reservations for Friday and Saturday. Saturday was at Kiki. We are older, I'm the oldest at 62 my wife and other couple are late 30s early 40s. We are fortunate to be professionals and successful. So, we were confused when we were met at door by a rude bouncer. Asked us multiple times if we had a reservation and seemed reluctant to let us in. I felt as if I was 18 with a fake ID trying to get into a club. It only got worse from there. Service was slow. It was 20 minutes before we had cocktails. The food was horrible and the music was so loud we couldn't talk to each other. I can excuse the music given that it's Miami, but not the service or the food. After dinner we were waiting for our driver and headed to the bar. Once again we were met by the bouncers, different people than at the door, but just as rude as they didn't like where we were positioned. If you want a club scene I guess it's Ok, if you are looking for an upscale dinner, avoid Kiki.

Many countries many yachts...pulling up to KiKi Miami style greeted by if I remember correctly Charles the guy at the dock friendly and handsome...very hospitable, made us feel welcome...thank you KiKi for such an amazing night...next stop Monaco!

I had Brunch with a crew of friends from the north , Michele is our favorite, she recommended a great white burgundy

Our night started arriving whilst raining. I asked the valet about parking. He did not even get off his chair to take our car. Instead he pointed to a park. We got out getting wet, and at the dame time he demanded $25. I said we would sort it out when I depart. He had done nothing!! On entering we were told we could not sit as one of our party was yet to arrive - six of us were there. After explaining this was ridiculous we were shown to our table. Our last guest was list so my wife and I went out to go and get him. The valet guy refused to give us our car key until I paid $25. I explained I was coming back and my family were inside, so I was not running away. He refused. The bouncer then got involved saying pay or leave your car. We paid. The food was OK. We were asked if we wanted to end with desserts. Before we answered, our bill arrived on the table. I went to pay it, at the same time I was talking to a family member. I was told to hurry up. Bill = just under $1,000!! Service charge huge and we have been treated so badly. Please do not waste your money. This restaurant treats customers so badly and then charge huge prices. I would not mind paying if they earn their $1,000. Instead they stole it from me. Worst worst experience ever.

I don't think the door guards standing at the entrance care very much about the revenue of the venue because they're not very consistent because they want money for 100 dollars per man first they don't have to pay women 10 minutes later they say they're going to charge women again and again they just paid 300 dollars for entry from 3 people. And even worse, they don't take 300 dollars in cash and get your credit card from you, and they add to your fee for drinks you don't drink at the end of the night and don't ask for your credit card.I've been to many places and I've been scammed in one place for the first time. In total, they took $470 without asking our credit card for 4 glasses of whiskey and 3 cocktails, and when they showed us the addition later, we noticed that they added a lot of extra to the drink you didn't drink, and when we objected, they said no, I'm sorry you drank them, but we didn't have anything we could do.The ambiance of the place is beautiful, but unfortunately the main purpose of all the stories in the middle is to use fake female diners as decor and create a fake elite air. Boys even if you don't meet women at the same table and you have an intention to drink and socialize, it's definitely not your place because the main purpose is to be displayed by the diners in the tables and there are only women that stand as decor and even if you don't have to meet them at the same table, even if you don't have to give them a drink without your credit card

Had dinner there last night. The fava bean dip, tuna tarta, and whole favlaki fish were all just ok. I wouldn't recommend any of them. The dip was too thick and bland, the tartar I thought might have been spoiled when I took my first bite, but we then figured out it wasn't spoiled, it just wasn't flavorful and the tuna didn't seem of the best quality. We added a little olive oil to both and it made them. slightly better and easier to get down. The favlaki had almost like a mushy consistency. Not a white flaky fish. Also added a little olive oil to this dish to enhance the flavor. The roasted veggies were ok but also not anything special. The baklava was good but didn't taste fresh. The yacht full of strippers that pulled up provided funny entertainment for a bit, the atmosphere was energizing. Besides it's decor and location on the river, we didn't think it was worth it. Go for drinks at the bar, skip the food is my suggestion.

A lovely restaurant and lousy service, the truth is a pity that they have a staff that they. And this until I gave a smile, I wanted to reorder something and they passed by and they don't even look at us, they pass talking and laughing among themselves but approaching the tables to see what the client needs is like them. This one, it really hurts me to pay for such a shameful service... that it's too bad because the place is beautiful...

Nathan really took care of us! Was an awesome dinner and great vibe. Loved the food and music! Really great

Massively over rated! Very expensive for very average food and drinks. Don’t expect to be treated with courtesy . Couldn’t wait to leave.

I went to dinner Saturday night to celebrate a friend’s birthday, we were a party of 8 and our reservation was at 7:00 pm, we were not even sitting at the table, when we were told by the waiter that we were only allowed to be there for 2 hours, we asked her if we wanted to stay what we could do, they said we could have a bottle service, which is not unheard off, this is Miami after all. The food was not bad but they took a while to bring it. So it was around 9:30, we were having our desserts, all very rush.. my friend asked for another drink and a coffee, he was denied because it said our time was up.. we spend $1600 at this place and we were willing to pay for a bottle to stay. This place is really pricey.. For that amount of money, I think the least they could do is wait for some one to have their coffee.. Just to mention the tables beside ours were only with drinks and appetizers but some how they got to stay, very young people.. maybe we were not cool enough.. anyway We will not be back, not I would really recommend that you spend your money there. There are a lot better places to go in the Miami area..

thebonly thing i can say , will never come again stupid people and stupid way to make a reservation i been waiting for more than 1 hour and i have reservation and after asking about the table they said you need to wait more 1 hour or you can leave !!!!!

We went on a Wednesday all dressed up and ready to party and their big day is Sunday. Big mistake. On a Wednesday the restaurant was more than half empty at 9:00 (and never filled up). And the problem is that while the classic Greek food is decent, the prices are outrageous because they are charging for atmosphere - but if you don't go on a night when the party is on, you feel totally ripped off. We were seated by a chilly hostess inside near two tables of children watching ipads (even though the famed outdoor area was not full and never filled) which didn't exactly help it live up to its reputation of being a fun supper-club style environment where the party meets dinner and the whole ambience definitely killed our mood. I don't even know what you have to do to get a table outside - the person who took our reservation by phone said it was bottle service only and you had to call a separate number to reserve it. Seemed a tad unnecessary given that the whole restaurant faces the water and is more or less outdoors, especially on a night when they can't fill their tables. So my advice, if you must go, go only on Sunday. Otherwise, if you're looking for outstanding Greek food (as you can see from other reviews of mine) there is another Greek restaurant on the waterfront in the Miami area with outstanding food that doesn't charge such overinflated prices.

Beautiful & lively restaurant ! Great scene ! Food was very pricey . They charge $10 for water and they won't give you tap. It's extremely loud . Too loud. I'm young and it killed my ears. I asked to move and they would only move me to another loud place and wouldn't give me another table . A magician walks around trying to get $20 to show you a magic trick . I felt like I was at the beach being solicited to buy a skirt. I thought it's beautiful inside and I loved the vibe but otherwise I was disappointed.

Beautiful restaurant with lovely ambiance and decor. Service was very good but completely overpriced. The music was very loud. We asked for it to be turned down one notch or two but they refused. I would never go there again

Great vibe , excellent service and the best food we had in our week stay in Miami ! Celebrated my Birthday here and although not cheap it was well worth the money spent ! Do yourself a favour and don’t miss this experience if you are visiting Miami !

I will never stay there again. I would never recommend this place to anyone . I would never recommend this place to anyone.

Very Nice atmosphere, food ok, recommended for a happy night out, show is very festive and unusual, is a place to ser and be seen

My recent attempt to dine at Kiki on the River was spoiled by a shockingly discriminatory policy that prohibits entry for women not wearing heels. This outdated dress code is not only absurd in 2023 but also perpetuates sexist stereotypes, reducing a woman's worth to her choice of footwear. Feeling humiliated and offended, I strongly condemn such misogynistic practices. In an era that champions equality and inclusivity, it's disheartening to encounter establishments that prioritize archaic gender norms over treating customers with respect. Kiki on the River should reassess its policies to align with contemporary values, fostering an environment where all individuals are welcomed without judgment based on irrelevant criteria. Never go to this restaurant.

Way overrated. Scene alone can't carry them long term. Food and service well below what you expect from Miami.

This famous Miami restaurant has a great atmosphere and greek food. Their hog fish was unbelievably good.Their beer however was warm… BTW: there is a dress code.

Prepare to go deaf - the food is decent but not great - great sights- they are trying to facilitate a party but be prepared not to speak to anyone at your table

We had a lovely last minute lunch here! The customer service was top notch and exactly what I expect from a high end restaurant. We didn’t make a reservation and the female host (highlighted curly hair) was so lovely and made an exception for us and even let us sit on the table by the river. We pop by after receiving rather nasty service from next door and thank goodness the team at KIKI really turn our day around without even being told anything. We were served by a lovely gentleman Argusto, his knowledge and passion of the food & restaurant and really came through and it was so lovely to see. The food and drinks were great, they served me and my boyfriend the most tender octopus I ever had in my life! It was unbelievable and a must if you are visiting. I would recommend giving everything a try on their menu, we will definitely come back again and recommend KiKI to all our friends. Thank you to all the staff that looked after us on the 4th January 22.

I used to love this place I really don't understand what happened to them. They took an hour and 40 min to sit us, with the excuse that they have a wait time of 40 minutes to an hour and a half, even though we made this reservation a month ago! we had to walk around and the security kept moving us around in a rude way. they finally let us sit at a table that was empty the entire time!!!. service was slow. then we had a full size roach in our caesar salad, they didn't even apologize they just took the dish and brought a new one. I don't think we will come back. horrible experience.

Miami is a foodie desert . . . Although it tries to hide that fact behind the glitz. Kiki on the River takes this fact and elevates it to another level. Service in Miami is bad (you want good service in a restaurant, got to Argentina). The food is bland and unoriginal (think the opposite of . . . gosh, almost anywhere). The wait staff slow and uninformed and arrogant (at least the college students in the north eastern summer tourist traps understand what they are doing). The decor lavish, over the top and totally disorganized (think overgrown garden taking over a doll house). Any plusses you ask? Well, the hostesses show plenty of leg. Ooops, going there for a romantic dinner, be prepared to be slapped by your date/honey/wife as your head turns to follow the hostess as she walks away. So, yeah . . . this restaurant caters to soaking up the money of Miami's Lamest . . . you know, those Lambo-driving twenty-somethings who want to spend Daddy's money to impress their latest, vacuous squeeze. If you have any knowledge of quality in dining, you will leave this place disappointed! If you like this place, you are also probably into FinDoms as well. They will bitchslap you with bad food and bad service, and then take lotsa cash!

We recently organized a surprise 50th Birthday party at Kiki On The River. The event was great until there was a power black out (around 11:30 pm) and we were kicked out at 12:30 am ... rather than closing time of 2 am. From 11:30 pm on wards there was no music (which had been great) and therefore no dancing (which is one of the reasons for going there). They were not able to process the payment for the evening (due to the power outage) so they said they would process the next day and send the invoice through. They did process it but never sent the invoice. Given the large nature of the bill, we wanted to review what was spent. After numerous emails, phone calls etc, no one has bothered to contact us. This was over 2 weeks ago. There was no recompense for the power outage, the loss of music and enjoyment. The issue is simple - they have the money and now seem to not care.

Very loud! Poor atmosphere! Food prices are ridiculous! Valet service was $40. Unbelievable! We could not even talk at the table due to the loud terrible music.

kiki on the river worst greek restaurant i ever went to beautiful decor so expensive and horrible food a place not to go better go to a souvlaki place will eat better and much cheaper

We made reservations, checked the dress code, and showed up to the restaurant and were told we couldn’t enter unless we were wearing heels. Several other women were denied entry for not wearing heels, but they also allowed a group of women in even though two of them had dressy sandals (not flip flops or athletic slides). The dress code online doesn’t say “wear heels or you won’t get in”. I checked the reservation I made to try canceling it after we were told we couldn’t enter, and it said it’s not able to canceled and I would be charged $50 a person if we didn’t show up ($150). I asked one of the men at the door what to do to avoid the $150 charge because we didn’t choose to make a reservation and NOT show up, and he said he canceled it on his end so I wouldn’t be charged. Several days later, the $150 charge shows up on my credit card. It’s a scam and I plan on disputing it with my credit card and going to the Better Business Bureau if it doesn’t get removed because the dress code didn’t say heels are required, we showed up, and were assured we wouldn’t be charged.

Apparently if you're dressed 'to impress' even if you're 17 years old, you can drink and party. Yes, I know for a fact there are girls under age doing shots.

The food and atmosphere was wonderful. But as a Greek looking for an authentic Greek experience, I was disappointed that they were waving Greek flags whilst playing the Turkish version of a Greek song. Also, every song was Turkish. This doesn’t really add up. Maybe a new DJ or play Greek music while the countries flag is being waved around!

Had a great time at Kiki. Michelle our server was fantastic! The service was prompt and very friendly!

This is more a party club than a restaurant. We had a 7 pm reservation on a Friday evening and had requested an outside table. When we arrived, there was a bouncer letting people in and it was clear most of them were there to party. We were forced to wait about 15 minutes before we were let in to see the hostess and give our name. When we asked about an outside table, she told us that there were none available since they were all being used for bottle service. This was at the height of the August COVID surge in Miami and no one was wearing a mask and there was absolutely no social distancing. What a horrible experience - will never go back.

We had an delicious lunch at this very relaxing restaurant , it is very relaxing and beautiful.. service was excellent.

The dining room is gorgeous! Open to the outside, and right on the Miami River, you feel like you are in a jungle setting. The room has a warm feel, without being overly bright inside. And the food -- we had the 'Kiki's Greatest Hits' and could not have been happier. It is a shared, family style meal and the food just kept coming! It included ikilia,Tomato Salad, Octopus, KikiChips, Rack of Lamb, Whole Organic Chicken, Grilled Lavraki, with Grilled Vegetables, Lemon Potatoes, and Truffle Kiki Fries and I think even more. We had a large group, and they were ready for us even though we were a few minutes early. When you dine there, don't be in a hurry. Service is laid back, thorough and friendly but not always lightning fast. Can't wait to go back, next time I am in town.

I feel compelled to share this experience. A group of friends and I made a reservation weeks in advance at Kiki on the River to celebrate two 21st birthdays — a moment we were all looking forward to. Unfortunately, that special night was completely ruined by how we were treated at this venue. Despite having a confirmed reservation for 10:30 PM, we waited over an hour without any communication, update, or apology from staff. Eventually, the doormen shrugged us off, laughing and saying, “Your table is long gone, you should just go to a bar to celebrate.” Completely unprofessional and dismissive. Even more disturbing was the apparent unequal treatment. One member of our group was granted access to areas of the venue that the rest of us were denied, even though we were all on the same reservation. When you’re left standing while your friend is welcomed, it raises real concerns about how different guests are being treated. After reading more online reviews, it’s clear we’re not alone. There seems to be a troubling pattern of Kiki taking reservations and then not honoring them — especially for groups that don’t “fit the mold.” We’ve been living in Miami for two years and have been to some of the most exclusive venues in the city. Never have we experienced what happened at Kiki on the River. It was disrespectful, unwelcoming, and a complete failure in hospitality. I cannot recommend this place — especially if you’re expecting to celebrate something meaningful. They simply don’t care.

While en route to this restaurant, we began perusing some reviews, and to our horror stumbled upon one by a Canadian Good Samaritan (Max Eisen) warning us of our impending disappointment and what we would soon regard as utter disgust. At first we thought, nigh hoped, "surely this place can't be as bad as Max has elucidated." And boy were we wrong. From the overpriced and mediocre (at best) food to the inconsistency of the drink prices, to the incompetence of at least one server, we have entitled this review with a reference to Styx in deference to our feelings of being caught in the deepest bowels of hell. The inviting decor is among just a couple low-ranking compliments we can make. The whimsical rope swings and nautical deck booths were soon overshadowed by high-decibel music, men (customers) standing and screaming on tables, and a horrifying-looking s'more assembly kit dessert that is accompanied by an $18 pricetag (for s'mores...s'mores!). This all happened before we were even seated. Upon entering the main dining area, we were greeted by marginally-quieter music, but by 7 PM it was full-ragin' again. The outset of the meal was pleasant, with a very kind woman who took our drink order. We were taken aback by the cumbersome, oversized (yet still somewhat illegible) menus that apparently were in short-supply, as they provided us three menus for twelve guests. Bread was also seemingly hard to come by, as eight half-slices were brought for the entire party to share. Readers, if you think this is terrible, strap in, because we haven't even begun to scratch the surface of the hell we soon experienced. For some reason, we were assigned a separate, additional server to read us the nightly specials and take our food orders. Perhaps if this gentlemen (i.e. person masquerading as a server) would have been provided with a larger notepad to write in, he wouldn't have had so much difficulty verbalizing the specials or getting the food order right. For instance, one special was first quoted as costing $48 dollars, then was changed to $74, and finally a whopping $109. Folks, this is not fine dining--not by any stretch of the imagination. Despite some mealy, hard tomatoes in a salad that was visually unappealing, the appetizers were acceptable. Now, our meals, on the other hand...well, those that actually made it to the table...are a completely different story. Among the missing items were seven scallops (spread across three orders), two orders of mushroom risotto and more than half of the items quoted as part of the daily special. When a member of our party questioned the server as to why the special was not remotely as described, the server became defensive and said he had misquoted the price, and had the dish been brought out as described and ordered, it would have cost $35 more. So the server admitted that he had taken the liberty of removing the crab, asparagus, and bernaise sauce and replacing the promised Oscar-style components with a schmear of potato puree under the plain, sad piece of alleged Waygu beef. Under duress, the server eventually agreed to a compromise of bringing a side of asparagus. Defeated by the whole ordeal, several members of our party simply threw in the towel and canceled their dinner orders. Whilst the unsettling dinner progressed, we noticed several other customers experiencing their own personal nightmares. For instance, over the heads of dining customers, one server took a cob-webber on an extended pole and began dusting the air vents, resulting in particles of dust dispersing over the food. Then, to our other direction, a carving table was set up literally on top of some diners, and the server began preparing no fewer than fifteen pieces of fish under a bright heat lamp, and to our utter horror, the food did not belong to the table for whom the show appeared to be intended. We could write an entire review about the drink debacle, but we'd be here all day. We warn you (if our review doesn't do its job and stop you from going) to check any and all drink prices. At the bar, two members of our party paid two different prices for the same drink (one was $24, and one was $18), yet at the table, the same drink cost the mammoth $24, and someone else's of the same drink was merely $14. Just when we thought things couldn't get any worse, the check came. Again, an entire epic could be written on this catastrophe, but we'll spare you the trilogy. To cap off the series of unfortunate events, a magician arrived at the table in a bedazzled jacket complete with a clip-on light, asking who was in charge of the table to contract with him to provide us with some last-minute entertainment. Due to the lead member of our party being embroiled in an ongoing dispute over the check, another party member informed the magician that no one at our table was in the mood for a magic trick at that moment in time. Suffice it to say, by the time we were done at Kiki on the River, all anyone had to say was, "kill me on this river."

Kiki's is an outrageous blend of food and atmosphere. If you're looking for a fun and an entertaining scene, you will not beat the clanging bells, passing yachts loaded with beautiful girls and champagne annointed celebration at Kiki's! Must haves are the oysters, East and West alike! West coast are salty but lay in a deeper cup. The octopus was delicious, grilled and delicately sautéed in olive oil, capers, and red onions, as to not overpower the flavor of the octopus. The Kiki caesar salad is deliciously cheesy, sanza the anchovies, served with crispy warm pita bread. Mediterranean sea bass is served perfectly fileted at the table. All in all a very entertaining and note worthy restaurant for food and fun!

The vibe is very cool, amazing range of cocktails which has excellent showmanship. I like the island style theme.

A very chilli atmosphere, excellent music, facing the river, pleasant food, delicious cocktails, friendly service. The waitress was very friendly but she took a while to take our order, and she confused the cocktail because she didn't wait another while. I didn't ask her to change it. We ordered the cocktails first to toast as an appetizer but she brought the food first, I had to look for it when I wanted to order something. Just the day I went there was a fashion show at the restaurant, maybe that distracted her.

It is a nice place, overpriced but as all these type of restaurants in Miami. Food was really good, ambiance, if you are looking for party, is also good, and our waiters were nice and friendly. Hostess are EXTREMELY RUDE, they think they are vedettes doing everything they can to make you feel bad. Honestly there is no reason to treat like this customers who pay +$1200 for a table of 6.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Every part of the experience at Kiki on the River was perfectly executed. Peter the Bar manager, Sandra the restaurant manager, the valets, the hostesses, the staff, the food, the music. We will be back. Thank You We Love Kiki on the River. This is the real Miami This is the Heart and Soul of Miami ☀️🙏🏻⭐️❤️🌴Andrea

The restaurant is a high class party dinning establishment. Many luxury goods to splurge on and a sexy setting to compliment them with. The crowds are always dressed Miami chic and prices are going to be high. The quality matched the products and the services rendered. The staff is very accommodating and ready to serve you. I came in with no reservation and the lovely host team was able to squeeze me in along with my date in a little table in the back corner. Tables are all like 2 feet apart but who cares, your out in public anyways! We had almost 80 percent of the whole cocktail menu and shared a few dishes. The tomato salad sounds simple but really good. The Steak was perfectly cooked and the mussels in the red sauce were fantastic. The smores come with a fire pit to cook up your marshmallows. Don't come if your looking for a peace and quiet dinner, come for a high energy experience with good staff, good food, and good ambiance. Most importantly come with patience, every hot spot restaurant with a party atmosphere is bound to get backed up. Theres most likely some group spending a couple more Gee'z than you and that crowd always needs the extra TLC.

Pitas back alright! Yay dips. Yay pita. Yay chicken souvlaki. No drinks (too sugary). No salads. Was funish. Would come back.

Scam Alert. The valet is somehow separate and charged $40. The entire restaurant is like a Vegas facade and set up for an Instagram pic. Too bad the atmosphere is so overwhelmingly bad because the food was actually good…. albeit extraordinarily overpriced. For the $, at least the valet should be included.

Really disappointed with this place. Won’t recommend ever. Hit there for Saturday party. The first disappointing thing was the music. They play something really old old fashion from 2000 - 2005 which is some pop music and a hip-hop sometimes. Not my favorite style those music is not really popular over the world already. Maybe u guys should change a sound producer. But the worst thing was a bad service. Explored 2 bars over there. The firs bartender was a lady (Mexican, Spanish) at the dining room, we asked for a virgin mojito, so she didn’t really know how to make it and there was no taste of mint or lime, only sweetness. But at the main bar in the middle of the room I asked for a glass of rose champagne and the glass cost me 38$. I bet they just want to make more tips giving me such an expensive glass of champagne, cause the have 20% included to the bill even while u get ur drink at the bar. I always buy this sort of champagne in Nobu which costs me 25$. I won’t recommend this place following the service quality and the prices and public.

Very vibrant restaurant with really nice food menu. We waited at the bar and the bar ladies were on it and made a couple of negronis for us. Food was overall good- I had the lobster pasta. Music was a tad loud but overall an enjoyable experience!

Located on a busy canal, this restaurant is visually gorgeous. Unfortunately, that is the best part of our visit. The server was a nice lady but not very efficient. She would take our order for cocktains and immeditely left, not waiting to hear the order for sodas and appetizers. 15 minutes later, she was back, the drinks were delivered by bar staff. We ordered oysters and fries for appetizers. Fries areived cold and the oysters were so skinny that I wondered if they had fallen out of the shell. The bits of shell in each one did not add to the flavor. For main course, I made the mistake of ordering a small steak. My order came out 25 minutes after my companions received their chicken kabobs. While theirs were dry like cotton balls, my steak arrived stone cold. Our waitress never bothered to check on the order with the kitchen. The manager came over and seemed genuinely concerned. He offered to remake the steak - on the house. My friends convinced me to accept, since I've only had two anemic oysters that day. The steak, about 6oz, arrived 15 minutes later, Raw. I do not mean rare, I mean it had a few grill lines but the rest was raw. The waitress came iver with the bill and we notices a mandetory "service charge" of 22%. They calculated the 22% charge from the full amount, not the net bill after deductions. This time, the manager did not come over. The waitress made the corrections - this seems shady to me. The ONLY reason to go here is the nice interior, adorned in flowers. The canal seems like a nice thing but on our visit, the diesel exhaust smell from some of the boats docked near by was very strong.

What an amazing experience with my girls I had today, thank you Rafik, Karla and Jorge for the amazing service, definitely coming back, couldn’t ask for more,, they delivered and left no crumbs !!!

I would never come back to this place again, and I wouldn’t recommend you do either if you respect your time. I don’t know in what world a 1hour 45 min wait is acceptable when you have a reservation. To then be sat at the back of the restaurant by the waiters station, where my friend had to get up several times within minutes to allow the staff to get cutlery for guests. Interestingly, all their black guests were sat at the back of the restaurant, completely isolated from the party atmosphere within the venue. The manager, an Asian guy needs some training on what customer service is because he is clueless. I absolutely regret going into my birthday at this waste of an establishment and I’m very happy that I decided to leave and not give them a dime of my money. I will be giving a detailed experience on my socials. PS management, save yourself the time of responding with a rehearsed disingenuous apology below.

We had booked a table a Friday night and arrived on time 9 persons. The seater in the door told us that there were up to an hour wait, even though we had a reservation. We waited for 1,5 hours and were not offered a glass of wine or a snack or any other thing at all. The waiter forgot much of our orders when finally seated. Several main courses were served before the starters. We asked for water several of times, but the waiter didn’t fetch any. Because of all this mess the waiter at last offered us a free dessert, but one they chose. And what a dessert!!!! One small dish with cream cheese, biscuits, one piece of dry cake and a cup of jam (we thought). We all tasted the dessert and the “jam”, which tasted a bit strange and actually was gasoline which should have been on fire when the dessert was served - But they forgot to lite it!!! Suddenly a waiter discovered us tasting the jam and stopped us. We got some refund of the bill, but would rather have avoided this expensive. Should have left the place but where to go 9 o’clock on a Friday without a reservation!!

Terrible service. Manager rude They kicked us out in one and a half hour and charged 21% service and restaurant was half full Terrible !!! Don’t go !!!

I don’t know why people are saying they are racist. I took my girlfriend for her birthday on a Saturday at 10pm. We got there 15 minutes early and we were in our seat by 10pm. The service was phenomenal and came back regularly to check on us. His name was Sergio. Even the other waiters checked on us as well. It’s very loud so you will have to yell to talk but other than that I have to complaints. I ordered the lamb chops and there were tender and good. But you will be spending some money if order drinks and food. So bring the bank lol.

Where to begin? For reasons unknown, our waitress (Marjorie, Margarita?) was rude beyond belief. She greeted us after we sat and proceeded to ignore us afterwards and purposely pass us by. Seriously we were 3 women from out of town and very polite. Nothing we did or said could have warranted the behavior we received from our server. We had to ask other servers for help to order food and drinks, and you could see our server approach them after they left our table and become visibly mad. We even witnessed her slam items down on a table angrily! However, she never came to us to apologize or try to make the situation better! She came once, silent, and took empty glasses from the table. We had to order our from the manager (Tim), who gave us a long speech and talked to us at length and then never returned again to check on us (even though he passed by our table probably 50 times after). I have never been treated so rudely at a restaurant in my life. Then, our meals took over an hour to arrive - and the food wasn't even good! We ordered the lobster pasta, which was literally spaghetti marinara with a dew chunks of lobster (and shells) tossed around inside. None of us even finished our food. We expressed our concerns to the second manager and he took off our starters and 2 wines, but that will never change the bad taste I have left in my mouth. Do NOT bother with this place! It is not worth the headache. Heed the other negative reviews. Sure it might be pretty and 'Instagramable" on the riverfront, but it is absolutely not worth spending a dime in.

The food was terrible and my chicken had no flavor and then I ordered something else bc it was so bad and the salmon was warm. I honestly am so mad I had to pay for my meal. The atmosphere is great but it can be too loud sometimes. Parking was super confusing as well. Would never come back.

The place was empty for a late lunch on a Friday. Food was very good. Prices are elevated based on restaurant locaiton.

I took my daughter here with my niece for her 21st birthday. I thought the service was excellent and the atmosphere is a solid 10. It is very expensive and If you’re looking for a value this is definitely not the place. Two very small appetizers and two drinks was over $225. It sits on the water it’s super cute and I think it’s definitely something to do if money is not an option and you want cute pictures.

Good evening Xandra, I am writing to you regarding the horrific and horrendous experience my wife and I have experienced tonight. She was a victim of misogyny. I am hoping you will be able to explain that your restaurant does not value or enforce misogyny, sexist stereotypes and discrimination against disability. Please resolve this issue and ensure that no customer will ever experience what we did tonight. I had booked this dinner especially for my wife’s birthday and we have just arrived from London tonight. We arrived at 7:30pm for our reservation, in which we were greeted upon in such a cold, rude manner. Front of house (security) on the door did not even greet us or ask for the name of the reservation. He stared at the both of us in such a cold and unwelcoming manner. My wife, who in which suffers from social anxiety, began to give the name and time for the reservation as he had no interest in interacting with us. He then wrongly accused me of being dressed in sportswear. Both of us were shocked, absolutely taken back at this false and incorrect accusation. I was wearing a Burberry satin two piece SS23. This was absolutely not sportswear and Burberry do not even have a Sports collection. Burberry is a classic, British brand which boats its monogram prints which is worn by many respectable icons in fashion. It is not a casual brand for clothing, the fits and styles are elegant. I would never dream of wearing sportswear to any reputable restaurant, never mind at my wife’s birthday meal. This accusation is totally incorrect and insulting. Furthermore, my wife politely explained that his judgement was incorrect, regardless of this being embarrassingly wrong. He further pointed out my footwear, a thong sandal flip flop, I accept this is not ideal but please understand that I had come straight from a long haul flight. I had no issue in changing my footwear and I made this vocal. My wife is a well established personal stylist at Harrods, her reputation is profound and has been for over 10 years. She takes immense pride in her expertise of fashion. We dine regularly at restaurants such as Zuma, Hakkasan and Novikov in London which there is also in Miami, we have never experienced anything of the sort before. I can assure you, we are more than aware of the etiquette and decorum required. As my wife was speaking to your security, male customers entered the restaurant in casual shorts. This was rather contradictory and furthermore insulting to myself, as I am beginning to wonder if this is a personal attack. She then asked security for the restaurant manager in which Gianmaria arrived to assist us further. He agreed that my outfit was not sportswear, but asked that I should go and change my footwear in which our reservation would be held for us and in his own words “ I will hold your reservation and you can enjoy your birthday meal”. We agreed to this and travelled back to South beach in which I returned in a leather boat shoe. We returned back from South beach in which I had changed my footwear, as per agreed with Gianmaria. My wife upon arrival asked the security for Gianmaria. This was another security guard, tall, Eastern European who was not the previous member of staff we had spoken to. He aggressively interrupted her speaking and told her that Gianmaria is not coming. She distraughtly questioned why, as it was agreed that he would seat us to our table if I was compliant with the footwear as agreed. At this point she was visibly upset and hysterically crying as she suffers from social anxiety. The security guard was laughing in my wife’s face and kept repeating “ You’re not coming in, it’s beautiful “ and “ Enjoy your birthday “. Gianmaria has a professional and moral obligation and responsibility to deal with any issues in your restaurant. Furthermore, it is appalling that he told us to ask for him directly when we return to the restaurant with my changed footwear. It is apparent that he had told the security to refuse us entry. Instead he was hiding in the restaurant and denying his professional responsibility. Your assistant general manager did not keep his word. It was agreed I just needed to change my footwear then my wife could enjoy her birthday celebrations. I asked the security staff again to speak to Gianmaria in which he responded “ You aren’t coming in “ and aggressively threatened me asking for fight. He told me to “ return at 1am for a very different outcome when I’m not working”. This member of staff was the tall, Eastern European security staff. This is totally horrifying. My wife was wearing Valentino Garavani rockstud gladiator leather sandal. The security guard then pointed at her shoes and abruptly asked why she was not wearing high heels. The expectancy of women to wear high heels is misogynistic and sexist. My wife choosing not to wear heels due to her own personal suffering of osteoarthritis in her left foot is not something that should be ever questioned by your staff. It is totally unethical and morally unacceptable. My wife broke down in tears and was very distressed pointing out the fact she suffers from osteoarthritis. She is very insecure of this, due to the fact it is rare in young women and is more common in older age. I am disgusted that she felt the need to explain this when it is such a sensitive matter. She is a victim of misogyny from your security staff. I am happy to attach images of the items of clothing worn by wife and myself including footwear if it can assist you. I have also read on Google, a recent review from Scarlet Ava, a fortnight ago also stating that she was a victim of sexist standards due to not also wearing high heels. Your respond to this “ Our intention is always to provide a pleasant and respectful environment for our guests. We value our staff and hold them to high standards of professionalism and courtesy”. This seems to be a recurring theme of misogyny and sexist standards which are aggressively enforced by your staff. I am absolutely disgusted by this. Morally, ethically and professionally.

It is incredible how still in 2021 they are discriminating against people how they dress. Discriman a las personas como estan ventidos

I just went with my wife to kiki on the river as we have been arrived in Miami and saw it on instagram. But all the pictures were misleading I am very impressend by the bad behavior of the staff... they were very rude and made fun of our accent as we are from Switzerland... Can't recommend this place.

It is pity that a beautiful place like this, has such a bad service! They were rude the whole night while we were trying to put our best smile. You had to ask for water 3 times each time to get refilled, and they would look at you when asking like if they were making you a favor! The server broke a bottle on our back and dropped glass pieces all over us. Not even sorry of course, so we approached him and acted like ‘who cares?’. Just unbelievable!

I got cut by glass all over my hand and legs, the manager threatened me to kick me out if I would complain. I will complain all life long.

I arrived for my reservation at 9pm, but unfortunately, my table wasn't ready. I patiently waited until 10:40pm, and to my dismay, the table was still not prepared. I was instructed to stand and wait, yet whenever I found a spot, a worker would approach me, asking me to move. This happened multiple times. The lack of communication and inconsistent treatment left me frustrated and disappointed with the overall service. On top of that, they discriminate against people of color. 0 stars.

Wow - such a bad, bad experience in every way. I took my boyfriend there for his birthday as we'd heard about it and hadn't been able to get a table. This was one bad thing after another.... 1. The restaurant was all but empty and the girl took us to a table at the very back, as far from the water as possible. We asked to be on the water and she said "there are no tables and i can't ask people to leave" sarcastically. There was actually one table on the water free. She moved us closer but not on the water, then ten minutes later, right in front of us, a family arrived and were seated at another table. They asked to be on the water and the girl said "sure. and moved them". I complained and they moved us to a table that was better but not on the water. My concern here is that this was homophobic behaviour and we were treated differently because we were a male couple (Kikis is a hangout for young partying girls - I guess we don't fit that bill so they didn't care to look after us in anyway) 2. Then we sat there for more than 20 minutes - there was wait staff every where but apparently no one knew who was looking after our table, until we flagged someone down and asked. 3. I ordered the lamb - medium, and it came out so rare that it was fully raw inside. The rest of the food was average at best. We ordered baklava for dessert, as it was apparently their specialty. And no exaggeration it tasted like layers of glazed pastry. 4. Our waiter decided halfway through the experience to never come back. We saw him serving other tables, but I guess he decided he was done with us, so then we just had to ask random waiters for help. 5. And to top it off... we waited and waited and waited for someone to come back to the table but no one did, so I went over to them and asked for the check. I was all set at this point to leave a 10% tip (which I have NEVER in my life done) but of course.... there was a 21% gratuity already loaded in. So these people received a built in $50 tip from me for what was the worst birthday experience imaginable. So in summary.... Horrible arrival experience and we felt totally disregarded within the first 5 minutes.... very average food..... wait staff that simply do not care.... overpriced (though if the food was good I would have been fine with that price). My advice.... NOT WORTH THE VISIT! The worst part... it was a surprise for my boyfriend's birthday and it was ruined by all of this.

Date night on a Monday night. We read all the reviews, so we decided to check it out, but early on a week night. Great atmosphere, fun music, good service and decent food. They offer a huge fun variety of cocktails. I had chicken, my wife salmon. Both were good enough considering the ambiance and people watching. We would return !

Rude staff that thinks they're a cut above the guests. Go for lunch enjoy the views. There are so many more interesting places around Miami.

We had a total of 18 of us go to kiki on Feb 9th 2023. Overall, the staff were rude. The hostess wouldn’t seat us for awhile. We were waiting in the front of the restaurant. When I went up to ask, she said it’ll be a minute - but with attitude. It wasn’t a minute. They didn’t even acknowledge us. Just overall extremely rude. Our server was nice but the main people in the front and the hostess were incredibly rude. We all got in because we were dressed up but I can definitely see how this place would “kick” out certain people and say it’s because they didn’t follow the dress code or whatever. I felt that this place was very selective on who they let in. Although they have a strict dress code on their website, there were definitely people inside that did not follow the dress code but they got in. It’s definitely selective! The food was mediocre, the drinks were good but extremely overpriced. The ambiance was great overall! Decent place but would be even better with nicer staff. Staff need to remember that we are customers and they shouldn’t forget about customer service.

I share this hoping it will be useful to people. They plan to go with their family. I went to this place with my family to celebrate my mother's birthday in the afternoon. Which the entire family trusts, including the dog, which is a service animal. We called before going to find out if it was animal friendly and they said "yes". Everything was good, the place was very nice and had a good atmosphere and the service from the waiters was very good. The food not so much. (You expect more for the prices they have). But the problem is security. I walked the dog outside the restaurant to pee. When we left the dog peed in front of the restaurant but outside!! We were already outside. But the security reacted in an aggressive manner, demanding that I had to go get water and wash my pee, otherwise he wouldn't let me re-enter the restaurant. I responded that I was not going to clean it and that as a worker he should not speak to me that way or be polite. When I responded, he left the restaurant and stood in front of me face to face as if he was going to hit me, threaten me and insult me and that he was not going to let me enter the restaurant anymore. It is enough to share that he was racist and acted that way in front of my 6-year-old nephew who he was holding by the hand. After he disrespected me and returned to the restaurant door, I realized that there was another security guard with the manager watching everything and they decided to do nothing. When I asked the manager if he was going to allow me to treat customers that way. His answer was (yes) and he decided to enter the restaurant and not leave again. Then I called my family who had to leave the restaurant. My brother demanded from the security that he didn't have to talk to me that way and to please let me in. But he started to challenge him and treat him badly, telling him what he was going to do, he was so small that he looked like a Mickey Mouse, he was going to break our faces if we didn't leave. I called the police, and another manager came out who was more gentle and respectful. But in the end he didn't want to do anything about it even when he saw that the security kept challenging us and disrespecting us. And they wanted us to pay the bill when we hadn't even finished. In the end the police arrived and nothing happened and we paid the bill and left. went Conclusion: it is not a family-friendly place and the priority of the place is not customer service. I leave photos of the one in the white shirt who was the security who was rude, racist and disrespectful. The others are the other security and the black-haired woman is the manager. Thank you, I hope it is helpful. I share the video on my networks too I share this hoping it will be useful to people. The food is not so much. I responded that I was not going to clean it and that as a worker he should not speak to me that way or be calm. When I responded, he left the restaurant and stood in front of me face to face as if he was going to hit me, he threatened me and insulted me and that he was not going to let me enter the restaurant anymore. It is enough to share that he was racist and acted that way in front of my 6-year-old nephew who he was holding by the hand. After he disrespected me and returned to the restaurant door, I realized that there was another security guard with the manager watching ever

I’ve been to Kiki so many times. But my last visit had completely disappointed me and my boyfriend!!! We came here to celebrate our anniversary. Don’t take me wrong, the service is good. The hostesses are very nice and caring, with big smiles and good attitude, the waiters are great. BUT THE FOOD IS AWFUL. We ordered basically every single appetizer from the menu. Every dish was salty, over salted. The tuna tartar is not even tuna. It tasted like canned tomatoes and tomato soup but not tuna. Grilled octopus used to be my favorite in Kikis, but this time it was over salted. Same with the crab cake. It seems like the chef doesn’t use anything but salt! I asked the waiter if the Chef was changed by any change and she said yes… We returned the crab cake because we couldn’t eat it.

Made a reservation for 230p arrived there’s valet parking across for $10 for lunch . Everything going well . Host very friendly and professional had my reservation ready we have a wonderful table river view wonderful Atmosphere background music awesome 305 all the way . But the best experience was the service at my table we had the lobster platter and lamb chops they were delicious. My waiters David and Marjorie were outstanding really had a very nice time for my birthday girl. I’ll see you guys soon definitely awesome service and environment 🎂I really enjoyed the birthday lunch with my babe🎂🎂🎂🎂 way to go Kiki 🍾

Arrived with a party of 6 and a. 53 ft center console. The guy running the docks was awful. Said he had all ducks reserved, so we rafted off another boat. Then he said a cancellation just came through. Instead of accommodating us, he turned a party of six away . The hostess that we called was fabulous, the waiters were fantastic! The guy on the dock was AWFUL for business. Food absolutely fantastic!

1 hour waiting time before foods arrives. Music as loud as in a night club. Average very expensive food. And mistakes on the bill. Is the view worth it ?

The food was ok and the service was ok but they violated bill HB 535 because they charged (3) $44.00 for Gratuity and that is a violation. They brought us open bottle water that was our first and last time eating there. I want my money back!!!

Beautiful place , excellent service, food - above all praise!! We had a wonderful lunch there. Appreciated the music also

Worst place of my life hands down! We booked a table for 8 people to celebrate a bachelor party. The table was booked and confirmed 3/4 months before dinner! We show up at the club and essentially, despite the reservation, they make us wait 3 hours before giving us the table, making forward unlikely and questionable characters surrounded by escorts without any kind of reservation. In those 3 hours we practically had to stand in a corner without being able to move and, as soon as you made a movement around the place you would receive big pushes or reprimands from waiters and bodyguards. After 3 hours they finally made us sit, food clearly not height of the shopping indeed quite below any expectations. Of course, if you go to this kind of place you do not expect an unforgettable dinner but certainly you do not expect to have to wait at least 3 hours if not more for a table booked 4 months before. The evening closes on a high note, with an exorbitant tip request if I'm not mistaken of over $300... so we pointed out to the manager all the above mentioned inefficiencies and inconvenience, and the will not to leave such a large tip! In response, instead of understanding the situation and at least apologizing, he called a Miami Marine Police officer, who when asked if it was a right or a duty to tip threatened us, giving us the only answer: "I'm taking you to jail." In the end, we paid the tip, with even the waiters stunned at what happened and believe it or not, on our side... A place to stay really far, compared to the mc Donald nearby is paradise! Food - rating 3 Account - vote 2 Service - rating 0 Education - grade under 0 Stay away, folks!

What a great discovery, we had been told about it, so we wanted to try it, nice discovery First of all, a great atmosphere, a DJ who sets a great atmosphere, Medhi was the young man who took care of our table, very professional, very attentive to our requests plus he spoke French which was a plus! our table was very well placed with a view of the water, the perfect place to enjoy Miami By Night

If you want a place with great views, a vibe and great food, this is it. We sat right on the river. Boats going by. Miami-skyline lit up. Staff were excellent. Food was excellent. Keep in mind that if you want a quiet romantic dinner, check the calendar to make sure it’s not the all day brunch (which I here is great music, food and drink). Maybe next time!

Kikis is neither a Greek, Mediterranian nor $$ rated restaurant. Our first choice of wine, Greek, could not be found. We settled for a French substitute. We had 12 oysters and the rack of lamb each, resulting in a bill of $443 Dollars for two people, including 21% service charge. The staff spent more time having a laugh together by the bar than attending to their customers. The manager admitted that he had no control over the staff, having "brought this up in meetings". He would not reduce the service charge. It may be "fashionable" but it's not my idea of a good restaurant.

we waited an hour to be seated , the hostess was rude, the food was disgusting we visited many places in miami everywhere had perfect service and food, no organization!

Girls night out so we stopped by to see how the vibe was here. It was ok, good music, nice crowd, good view of Miami River. We stopped by just for the drinks. It's also known for IG photo opportunities and meeting influencers. We did take a lot of pics. Parking was relatively easy. It's always a hot spot to be at.

The welcome was quite undercooled as the doorman was checking our outfits very obvoius and we all were dressed up except I was wearing cool Birkenstock which was an issue for him. He pointed on my shoes and asked his manager if it was ok to leave me in. She said yes of course. We had a lunch reservation at 2.00 and the restaurant was quite empty. A big table with chic ladies celebrating bridesmaid lunch and some smaller tables were occupied. Our waiter was very smug and more interested in checking his phone than offering an outstanding experience. He did his job - that was all. The food was ok - good but over priced. We had starters and main and were not asked if we would like to have coffee or dessert and we've decided by that time not asking for it. The aircondition was a joke. I was a beautiful sunny day with a nice warm wind but the aircon and fans in the restaurant were at full speed and it was freezing. Overall a big disappointment and we will not recommend this restaurant to friends and family.

What was supposed to be a birthday dinner ended with the manager shouting at us and security escorting us out. My boyfriend and I went to Kiki on the River on 1/26 to celebrate my birthday. When we arrived, we were told our table wasn’t ready and asked to wait at the bar. We did, no problem. We were seated at 9:54 PM. Toward the end of our meal, I began feeling slightly dizzy and asked our server for water. While we were waiting, the bar manager (Noah, I believe) approached us aggressively and began shouting, demanding that we leave immediately. When my boyfriend tried to explain that we were simply waiting for water, the manager continued to shout over him, refused to listen, then turned and shouted at me, called security, and had us escorted out.. There was no attempt to listen or understand what was happening, and no basic hospitality. I’ve dined at many busy Miami restaurants and understand crowd management, but being shouted at and removed after being seated for only about an hour and twenty minutes (9:54–11:20) and $400+ later, while waiting for water from our server, is completely unacceptable. I don’t usually write reviews like this, but this experience really shook me. As a woman I’m honestly concerned about guest safety and service standards. If this is how customers are treated I can’t imagine how staff are treated, especially considering how many young girls work there. I was really hurt and disappointed. I never imagined spending my birthday dinner like this.

Kiki on the river- food was phenomenal. I was celebrating my bachelorette with 10 girls and everything was perfect. My waiter Jonathan was the best! So attentive and helpful.

such a bad experience waited for the reserved table for a long time, waited for food for a very long time, the guards push you, for my money I got a terrible time and I have a terrible feeling, I will never come here again.

We found this place on instagram as stupid as that sounds and it looked fun so we booked, when en route we checked the reviews (a bit late I know) and were therefore apprehensive about what it was going to be like. We were seated in the corner in the outdoor bit which was ok however we thought we were forgotten about a bit. We ordered drinks, the Kiki do you love me cocktail was lush. However, once we had got drinks we waited 20 mins for our food order to be taken which was quite a while. The food was gorgeous however and this made our experience better - the salmon with broccoli and kiki fries side. Definitely recommend. I imagine the atmosphere would be better on a weekend (we are 22 and love a party) however it was still nice for an intimate date night, nevertheless.

I strongly discourage anyone from visiting this establishment. My experience here was nothing short of agonizing, from the moment I walked in until I finally left. Throughout my visit, I encountered disturbing instances of prejudice and discrimination. As multiple reviews have correctly noted, significant delays in seating are an ongoing issue, often exceeding an hour past the reserved time, and my experience was no exception. Despite the visually appealing glassware and an attempt at Instagram-worthy presentation, the quality of both the food and drinks was surprisingly underwhelming. Additionally, I discovered unidentifiable particles in my meal, which led me to report the issue to both the Better Business Bureau and the health department. To make matters worse, my party had to endure unfortunate incidents of racism and discrimination. We made multiple attempts, more than three, to address these issues with different managers, only to be met with sarcasm and an offer of items we did not request, along with an unwelcome suggestion to be 'grateful' for them. In my sincere opinion, this establishment urgently needs to reevaluate its operations and policies. A restaurant should not only offer a delightful culinary experience but also foster an inclusive and respectful environment for all patrons. It is disheartening to witness such potential wasted due to mismanagement and a clear lack of commitment to customer satisfaction. I hope that my feedback, as well as that of others, dissuades potential patrons from choosing this establishment and instead encourages them to explore the numerous superior dining options available in Miami.

I went with my fiance to celebrate her birthday, as we had eaten something before for another celebration related to our engagement, we were not that hungry when we arrived and decided to order some cocktails while we decided what to have for dinner. Unfortunately, one of the waiters, in a very rude tone, kicked us out of the place, telling us that if we didn't immediately order something to eat, we had to vacate the table. It has been a terrible experience and they damaged such a special occasion for us.

I visited Kiki on the River and we had a great time. The service was very good and everyone was welcoming. I’m really happy I met an Italian like me, Gaetano, who helped me choose, took care of us, and made me feel at home. Thank you for the hospitality!

Worse treat ever!!! Service was terrible, manager was so so rude! They were racist ... they told us that the dress code was wrong and we needed to change, terrible, there were people in sweatpants and they only told us! DONT GO THERE EVER, its a very expensive place and its not worth the treat!!!

We had a 930 reservation and were not seated until 11. Once they finally sat us (after being yelled at by the hostess for checking in too many times) they then told us not to touch anything because they were going to move us to another table. When we were finally greeted by a waiter he told us we had 10 minutes to order everything before the kitchen closed, and yet he forgot to even bring us menus. Then we ordered drinks and all received the wrong drink. Then we said the Evian at the table wasn’t necessary and we wanted tap and the waiter said that was their tap. When the bill came we were charged for all of the incorrect drinks as well as $50 worth of Evian. We are from New York and have dined in places quite similar, even nicer than Kikis and never experienced anything like this. Worst restaurant experience in my life. I never write reviews but honestly had to warn people about this place. Absolutely horrible.

DO NOT COME HERE. Terribly RUDE management. I made a reservation for a friends graduation, and they would not allow us to eat here because 2 of my friends were under the age of 21. NOWHERE did it say we had to be 21 to DINE here. I talked to the manager who was completely rude and unprofessional, and she told me that i was informed no “minors” were allowed. Which, usually means those under the age of 18. But to Kiki on the River, it means 21+. Rudest management i have ever experienced and they would not accommodate. Do not come here unless you are expecting rude service.

The attitude of nanagement, hostess and wait staff leaves a lot to be desired . The words rude, uncaring and insulting comes to mind. The manager working there this last Saturday afternoon would better serve the restaurant by quitting and getting a job grilling burgers at McDonalds Having attractive hostesses with negative Nancy attitudes only makes you r entrance uncomfortable and you wonder why you even brought guests with you, and that is after spending over $1,200 for a late day lunch….. Oh yeah, their food is very good! However, there are a lot of Miami restaurants that have very good food, and one does not need to feel insulted while paying large sums of money to go to those places. It is quite a shame. But why would this establishment care, they cater to celebrities and want to have normal folks be viewed as nobodied.

I had a reservation on may 3rd at 9pm. Once I arrived, i was told i had to wait at the bar until my table was ready. I asked the hostess at the time (i need her name she wore a pony tail) she shrugged & said i dont know, til whenever its ready. I said i need an estimate. She said 20 minutes. I asked what was the point of reserving if the wait is 20. She said there are tables that need to be sat before mine, which leads me to believe they were messing up all night. Once i said that she laughed, yes LAUGHED IN MY FACE. I got extremely upset in that moment. And got turned off and took my reservation to KOMODO! First impression is everything and she has no idea who I am nor who I know, nor who was in my party that night nor should that matter because service industry is dealing with guest the proper way. The food blogger from NY who was accompanied with me as well will be leaving a review & has an interview in 3 weeks on her experiences in Miami & the too 5 restaurants she recommend while staying in Miami...shame KIKI won't be a good look for that live interview. I advise management to look into the matter because guest service, hospitality and mannerisms along with guest etiquette is what makes this industry thrive & survive!. Shame on you Kiki for MISSING THE MARK ⭐ ~The 1 star was for the decor as it was stunning from the hostess stand from what i could see. At the very least you have that.

It's burst on the ground!! Not recommended 3000!! Better eat a kebab with the family and stuff your turkey for thanksgiving instead of getting stuffed!

Worst experience ever. 1h of delay to get my table, the all staff seems angry. No smile, rude, and threatening us like sheeps … open your eyes. I won’t give you 1$.

To begin with, the boat docking fee is totally insane: $125 The food took over 2 hours to arrive, they didn’t bring all the food together. Too much noise. I wouldn’t recommend going to Seaspice, Casablanca or American Social better than this.

I’ve made reservations for dinner a month in advance .. when I got there the rude door man wouldn’t let me or give me a chance to talk to him .. when I finally got to him he told me I have to wait outside the restaurant for an hour . While waiting he was letting everyone with no reservations and when I confronted him and told him that it’s not fair he told me to take the reservations crumble it and stick it up my ...

Eric and Chris were amazing!!!! My first time visiting KiKi on The River and I will for sure be returning. The ambience, service, the vibes were unmatched. Definitely the best part of my Miami trip.

My Husband & I are visiting Miami and we just experienced the worse customer service from the manager “Derrick Fung” from “Kiki on the River Restaurant” located at 450 NW North River Drive , Miami, FL, 33126. This unfortunate experienced forced us to write this bad review. My husband have been in sales & customer service industry for over 15 years and We have been in many restaurants all around the world because of his business and this is the first time We are putting a bad review for any restaurant . This should tell you how bad of an experienced We went through tonight. The short story is My husband order a chicken dish and they brought him a Pork Dish. He didn’t realize it at the beginning so He ate a piece and He also asked me to eat a piece to confirm this is not chicken. Then we informed our server to change the dish and bring him the chicken dish which He ordered at the beginning. We saw “Derrick” the manager came to our table with the same pork dish in his hand mentioning They can’t change the dish because We already ate some of the pork and We must pay for it. No matter how many times We asked him to call our server to confirm he made a mistake putting the wrong order but the server never came back to our table . Derrick never listen to what We are trying to share with him the whole time and all he cared that We must pay for that dish. We told him it’s not fair to charge us for a dish We never ordered. He left and came back with his security Guard and the Bill with the rest of the orders we had, to make sure we pay for that dish. We don’t mind paying for great dish and customer service. As the matter of fact We put at least 30% Tips anywhere We go. seeing a manager handling a situation like this was something We never experienced before. He could handle the situation way better to make sure everyone is happy no matter if he was right or us, but unfortunately he was so laser focus on winning his battle that he forget he is customer service business. The way “Kiki on the River restaurant manager” handle the challenge gave us the worse experience we had in all restaurants we have ever been.

Who knew Miami had a river? This restaurant/club is right on the Miami River, allowing you to watch the luxury yachts go by while eating excellent food. The tuna sashimi appetizer was delicious, fresh and with just the right amount of spice. We really loved the shrimp saganaki. For dinner, do not miss the lobster pasta, it was amazing. The lamb chops also looked great. Finally, for a nice dessert, the s’mores were a lot of fun.

We just went to the restaurant for dinner with family, there was an issue and we literally got kicked out at the door. I tried speaking with the manager, Sandra, and she was the most disrespectful person i’ve ever met. Never coming back again and don’t recommend it to anyone. Such selfless people. Horrible experience.

Great place for a drink. This restaurant has a beautiful atmosphere and nice attentive staff but sadly the food is awful. We were 4 for lunch. The salad and Kiki chips were good. But our chicken and crab cakes were literally inedible. The crab cakes looked and tasted like salmon. Chicken had no flavour. We didn’t complain. But $350 lunch and left hungry. I’ve never written a bad review...

You think when you see those movies where the wait staff or restaurant staff not helping others or leaving them to help themselves was a myth, well Kiki on the river just proved that wrong. I was greeted (and I'm stretching that phrase here) with rudeness from the door staff as soon as I arrived. I couldn't believe this as I've never experienced anything like this in my life. On top of that, I had a reservation but couldn't be seated. I have no problem waiting but what was more shocking is, when I simply asked why I WAS IGNORED! I asked again, and was told rudely to 'Hold On'. I couldn't believe the service. I left and I WILL NEVER RETURN. I ask that all Miami visitors avoid this place entirely, especially if you want a nice dining experience. This isn't the place for anyone looking to enjoy the cuisine in Miami.

I have the best experience with Carlos he bring us the best service all night. Everything on time, best service, best experience, best actitude, he is really nice guy!! Best night ever!!

Very unprofessional employees, from the door down to the severs, the place was cheap feeling and classless, service was bad, and the food was mediocre and overpriced. The crowd was equally cringy… wouldn’t go back there if you paid me

This place sucks. Disgustingly overcharged for the mediocre food. Never been treated so horrible in my life. Dont come here unless you are drake. Never met more rude staff in my life, do better kiki.

Bad service, so bad, it overtakes good food. Sadly the service was so bad, waiting 15-20 minutes for a drink or a visit from a server, any chance for a good time was lost

Poorest service ! They robbed us ! It’s a shame it’s a good place BUT avoid it no matter what. Rude service, crazy high prices. One soda $23 Food quality is a shame. unfortunately they think they are the the best but they are far from it ! They have a deal will the police so it’s worthless complaining ! Do your self a favor DONT VISIT it !

Amazing fun vibes! I loved this cool experience and if you like drake definitely come check it out !! Kiki do you love me!!

I am very surprised to see the low reviews on this restaurant. My mom, sister, and I were here on a Monday night had a wonderful experience. The restaurant is really fun with a great atmosphere and decor. We got to sit right on the river and enjoy the view of downtown Miami and the nice breezy weather. Our server was fantastic, made great recommendations and very accommodating of food allergies/ one of us being gluten free. The food was fantastic, we truly enjoyed everything we ate, some favorites were the roasted chicken (so crispy and the potatoes were fantastic), lemon potatoes, beet salad, shrimp, the risotto was fantastic. Also enjoyed the frose and the smores desert. We had a great experience and I'd definitely recommend it.

If you have your heart set on being a want to be Kardashian or blow through your trust fund. This is the place for you. Don't waste your time on making a reservation. This place doesn't honor customers reservation times. The staff is rude and obnoxious , if your not buying $1000 + bottles they have no interest in accommodating you. Really it is not worth the effort. Let me least give a review on the menu , wouldn't know waited 2 hours be be seat with a reservation got fed up and left. really bad customer service.

If u like asparagus that tastes like thick carbored then it's deff the place. We ordered almost every item on the list, the ketchup was the best item. Service terrible especially considering that we dropped a fat tab. Decor is nice. The plating is worse then a corner suberb dinner.

It’s important for patrons to know that this location does not allow or will kick out overweight women because their “look” doesn’t appease the aesthetic they’re going for. Please be advised, regardless of reservation, they will ask you to leave.

Had lunch here today. Such a great space. Food was very good. Waiter super attentive. I will definitely return.

Frustrating and Overrated Experience at Kiki on the River We dropped $1,100 on a table — and in return, we were politely kicked out after just two hours. The message was clear: time’s up, make room for the next group with money. Instead of a high-end experience, we got cold, dismissive treatment. The management only cares about packing in more cash, not about giving guests a proper, enjoyable time. You’re just a number to them. As for the food — nowhere near worth the price. Average, forgettable, and totally overhyped. Won’t be coming back and wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone looking for a real night out. Miami has plenty of restaurants that actually value their guests — sadly, Kiki isn’t one of them.

The only restaurant in Miami that won’t allow leather sandals !! sure guys can come in wearing a tshirt, the restaurant sent us the “dress code” no flipflops or athletic shoes…. since when leather sandals are flip flops o running shoes… but sure let the girl with white bike shorts in, why not…. really mad at the whole situation…. but “the staff reserves the right…”

Giving one star for the poor service I received here wish I can give Zero. Called before I came and asked if they were taking walk in reservations they stated yes. Upon arrival the big security Serbian guy who claims he’s some sort of manager wouldn’t let us in. We explained to him that when we called we were told that we can come with no reservations. He told me that I was lying and everyone wants to come here and since I didn’t know the name of the person I was talking to I was a liar. I don’t have any reason to lie about coming to a damn restaurant I called an was told by the hostess we can come. It’s one thing to want to go somewhere and they’re full but to get called a liar and shooed away like a peasant is disgusting behavior. Then my friends weren’t from Miami so it was just a bad taste for them to experience that. He was very rude and had a disgusting attitude. One of my friends asked if she can at least use the bathroom and he made security follow her and wait outside the bathroom door. You would think this place is like LIV or Beyonce’s house the way they were acting! This is not my first time coming here I came maybe 2-3yrs prior and never had service like that. The security guy then stated if we went to the bar we would have to spend $1300. He clearly made up a number as he assumed we didn’t have any money. We went to the restaurant next door Sea Spice who gave EXCELLENT SERVICE and treated us like actual people and not dogs on the street begging. The employees at Sea Spice even agreed that Kiki has had many horrible service complaints. Don’t waste your time or money they clearly don’t respect their customers

I can start saying bye I am not impressed at all doorman rude manager, rude unprofessional staff servers dishonest. I don’t care for businesses that size you For the clothes you wear in the car you drive status is not everything to judgmental for me. Focus on better food. There’s a lot of better places in Miami to go eat. I can say you earned this BAD review.

We went up the Miami River in search of a place to dock our boat and eat. Several restaurants had signs warning that there was a charge for dockage while you eat. KiKi's didn't have any such notice. We pulled up and the "dockmaster" did an awful job of tying the boat to the dock which resulted in damage to the boat when another boat passed by with a minimal wake. As if to add insult to injury; after our meal the server asked how long my boat was. I thought it was off but when the check came they added a $72.00 charge to our meal which was close to $200 as it was. The food was fine, a little pricy but fine. However, the boat episode ruined a good part of our experience.

If you like to support their political candidate, that's fine...but I don't go out to an expensive meal to have someone's politics shoved in my face. It's a place of business-keep your politics out of it.

We were 15 minutes late due to a emergency and tried to call but no one answers was told for $1000 they would bounce the next person in line we left , horrible customer service can’t wait till they’re not the “in” thing anymore

Amazing food. we didn't get seated until after 1030 but no one cared. Very loud. Guy playing sax on stage was the best. Food was top notch.

This is one of the greatest place in Miami. We had a perfect night. You should visit some night. You have so beautiful view on the river. And great food meanwhile 🙌

Had a nice brunch at Kiki on the River in Miami. The service was super nice and amazing. Thanks to William, Jorge and Luben.

My husband and I had a dinner reservation at 7 PM for two, and we were denied entry at the door because of his jeans, which had a small rip only a few inches big—nothing massive or over the top. The doorman told us once we got in we can’t come in due to the rip on the jeans. He barely made eye contact and dismissed us with, “Go home and change,” claiming ripped jeans were “strictly prohibited by the owner.” Here’s the issue: I received the dress code via text (see photo), and it says nothing about ripped jeans. It only specifies “elegant chic,” which is exactly what my husband was wearing—a button-down shirt with jeans. This rule is completely subjective and seems to rely on the doorman’s personal opinion. If the expectation is for men to wear suits or if ripped jeans are banned, then clearly state that in the dress code. To suggest that someone should “go home and change” is laughable. Miami isn’t a city where jumping back home and returning to a dinner reservation is convenient, nor should it be necessary for a subjective judgment of what counts as “elegant.” The man in the Bugatti who arrived just before us was waved in without issue. Kiki on the River treats people differently based on their party size, appearance, or perceived status. This isn’t a couple-friendly restaurant—it’s about the vibe and show, not quality. For context, I’ve been to Kiki plenty of times with larger groups of girlfriends. I already am aware that the food is mediocre and service sucks. It’s a place for the vibe and music. People go for the ambiance, which, frankly, you can find at plenty of other waterfront restaurants in Miami that treat guests with more dignity and respect. Would NOT recommend
Good experience
The food was absolutely delicious and the atmosphere was warm and inviting. What really made our visit special was the outstanding service Alejandro went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed—super friendly, attentive, and kind. It’s rare to find such genuine hospitality these days. We’ll definitely be back. Highly recommend this place!
