Ok, I have tried many burgers around the world and when I saw this peanut butter burger on their menu I was hesitant. All I can say is this was one of the best burgers I have ever eaten & bottomless fries to boot!

With all the negativity on the internet this establishment deserves non. The burger lives up to its name. For those with the picky eater variety this is a no holds bar on their little taste buds that leave nothing but smiles. For the adults a great selection of beer and who hate free bacon with every burger?!?! If you can handle some meat sweats and a smile donât come here! For everyone that loves a real burger and beer look no further.

Enjoyed a fantastic killer burger for lunch. Great mix of toppings & BACON comes on all burgers...as it should!!

I don't always go for killer burgers, but when I do I go for KILLER BURGER. Yummy beyond belief, artery clogging beyond compare. But I only go once in a while so... what the hell.

Very negative experience, won't be going back. They gave us another table's food. Tried to verify but staff said the order was correct. Received a lot of hostile glares from the other group once they realized the mistake. Staff attempted to make it right and give us the correct order. I think they were in a rush because the burgers weren't cooked as well as normal. The replacement food was also not what I ordered so I ended up not eating it and leaving hungry.

1/11/2025. Today, our family visited Killer Burger at 4:45 PM, and the experience was far from what we expected. The heavy metal music was blaring so loudly that we couldn't even hear each other speak; it felt like we were at a concert. We politely asked the staff to lower the volume, but the woman behind the counter rolled her eyes and only turned it down a notch. This was particularly challenging for us since we have our son with us, who is on the autism spectrum. We decided to move to the back room, where the noise was slightly more manageable. I initially considered emailing corporate about this issue, but after reading numerous negative reviews where Killer Burger merely responds with apologies for "falling short," itâs clear they don't prioritize customer service. It's disappointing to see a lack of genuine care for their patrons.

Burger and fries were delicious and service was fast. There is moderately loud music playing inside so not the place for a quiet, initiate conversation, but normal talking should be just fine. Staff was all very friendly. Food was so good I almost came back a second time during my short stay in Portland!

This was a very good burger and fries. While my family wasnât big on the sauce their burgers came with, I thought it was great! Weâd never eaten here before but weâd certainly go back if we ever get to Portland again. My only criticism was that I thought it was a bi spendy and should have had a greater number of dollar sighs to indicate this.

We had a meal and drinks in the bar which is 21+. I had the pickles peanut butter and bacon burger and it was a fantastic combination. Service was super friendly and the atmosphere is cool. Highly recommend!

Located near Max, trolley and within walking distance of many hotels, this was a great find when I had a craving for a burger. First these are big to very big burgers which are well prepared and come with french fries and bacon. Spend some time with the menu as there are a number of combinations that are out of the ordinary (think peanut butter). Okay, I was not ready to stretch my boundaries so I had an excellent blue cheese burger. A veggie burger is available, too. There is a bar in the adjacent room and a good selection of beers. rice was reasonable for what you get.

We experienced this Portland tradition today and it surpassed our expectations. The burgers were perfect!

This place was busy... You grab a menu when you walk in, go to the guy taking the food orders, order and pay. All tips are brought to the bar. They have adequate seating. You have to get your own fountain drink. The food came out pretty fast. The burgers were good, not the best I've ever had but good. All burgers are served with unlimited fries and every burger is 1/3 lb. And has bacon. (What's better than bacon) It was filling. The staff was friendly. Would eat there again if I was ever in Portland. There were bums on the streets (including by your restaurant) everywhere kind of ruins the city

Good TA reviews and even a recommendation on the street, so why not. I had the Fun Guy Burger and it was just too messy. All of the toppings soaked through the bun before I could eat it and it was just a mess. I ended up just eating the party and very few toppings. I wish I would have gone elsewhere. I also want to be fair and say the employee last are great, very friendly.

Went to this location to celebrate Halloween and to let our 7mo old daughter try her first burger. We LOVED the fact that they have gluten-free buns, a dedicated fry fryer, AND they have Dr Pepper. We have a hard time finding all three in one place. Music and atmosphere was awesome. Little girl loved her first burger đ Thank you Killer Burger!!!

Heard the hype so we thought we'd give it a try. Fries were alright, but burger, just simply, lacks a good flavor. Maybe if you've had several beers, it probably would taste better, but me and wife found them to be sub par , the bun quickly gets soggy and finely cut lettuce doesn't improve taste. Workers were kinda loud and vocal. Honestly for money there are much better burgers out there with better quality meat and flavor. The smell of smokey grease fills the air . May have liked it when I was 16, but too anyone who knows quality, this is going to be a disappointment.

Interesting concept. Limited menu of assorted gourmet burgers, all served with fries, and prepared very well. I personally enjoyed the Classic, with a can of Bud Light. You can order at the counter and just grab a seat, or thereâs a bar area where theyâll serve you, which is what I did. The restaurant was recommended and didnât come up short. Great casual dining.

Food was really good and they have a nice selection of beer. We were there during a busy Sunday evening and service was still fast and friendly.

Room service or killer burger, I made the right choice old fashioned styled burger cooked fresh fries with every order !! Glad I took a stroll for the hitel well worth it great value and great burgers

I've only been here a few times because I'm not a big burger fan. My husband loved it! I have to say it was very tasty but I couldn't eat it all. So if you want to know if it's good, yes! But its for people that have the big appetite.

While visiting family, we went to a Killer Burger in/near Happy Valley. Their menu is limited but creative. I had their basic burger which had cheese, ketchup and mayo with a strip of bacon on the side. The unlimited fries were really good; I couldn't finish the first serving so didn't ask for more. On the resto side, all picnic tables- ours was for two people. Good burgers. Friendly service.

The burgers are ok. Good. Not amazing. If you're coming here for the burger experience, I suggest checking it out. The have a good selection of pre-designed burgers. The rest of the experience leaves a lot to be desired. I ordered the Jose Mendoza. The spicy sauce gave decent, not overpowering heat. The patty wasn't bad, but also nothing as exceptional as I expected from other reviews. Nothing special about the bun - average. The egg on top was an overcooked fried egg. If you are going to add an egg on a burger, it has to add a layer of flavor - it should be running down the burger. I couldn't taste it, so it just seemed like a waste. The fries were terrible. Half of the fries were crispy and warm, and I could taste the potato. Other half of the fries in my order were badly overdone and burnt. Strange. The volume level of the music is absurd. I came here with work friends for lunch, and we really couldn't hear each other without overly shouting. Service at the counter was expedient and friendly. The time it takes to get food seems excessive. It was moderately busy, but we all agreed it wasn't normal. I might go back again because the burger held promise and I want to give it a second chance. Stay tuned.

I have nothing bad to say about Killer Burger, good price, and freaking delicious, fries too. I always get the same, the Themia (sp?) Super cheesy and bacony. Guilty pleasure. I'm not a beef person at all, anymore, but this place is the best for a beef burger in my view. They have a good system, so it goes quick, and they get it done. I will say that the one downtown can get really packed, and it's always a challenge to park downtown. (take the Max, instead) The one on Sandy is much easier to find parking near. I believe there's also one in Sellwood. I haven't tried it, but absolutely will. You're not going to have an intimate dinner here, they are slinging burgers, and do it well. Loud music, kids, hipsters, all of it, loads of activity, and delish!

It wasn't BAD but it wasn't that great either. Just average with above average pricing. Employee was right outside the door smoking which was a huge turn off for me. Also he came back in and went to work without washing his hands. I know its not a five star place but it could be a bit more appealing.

We stopped by for a bite, and it was really good. Glad we went here. Service was very friendly. Great selection of beers. They had a few standard burgers plus a bunch of options. I liked it a lot.

As we were exploring the city, we saw this place tucked into a corner and decided to take a chance. The first thing I noticed when we opened the door was the awesome sound of Led Zeppelin! All right. I saw a burger on the menu that had peanut sauce and pickles on it. Iâm just crazy enough to think that might work, so I ordered it. It was AMAZING! I may have to have all my future burgers done that way. Juicy and delicious. The fries were also cooked to perfection. The staff is very pleasant and will accommodate changes to your order that are not on the menu. Service was quick. We enjoyed our meal and the music. Well done.

We tripped upon this restaurant after being told of an hour wait elsewhere on a Sunday afternoon. We had low expectations and were pleasantly surprised at how great our food was! This isn't a fancy restaurant; it's a burger joint with absolutely delicious food. We both had veggie burgers and French fries - all of which were delicious!!! The table next to us had beef burgers and loved them too. We're going back to Oregon soon and Killer Burger is on our list of places to eat again!

Wandering around Downtown PDX during a lunch break, I was directed to Killer Burger by a local store clerk. I had a burger with bacon, bleu cheese and pickles. It was very tasty and filling. Sports on the tv and Motown on the radio. Everything as advertised. Apparently they are known for a pickle, peanut butter hamburger. As i am not pregnant, it did not sound like anything i want, but i am sure there are those who adore it.

Ordered a âfattyâ burger. OMG! Juiciest tastiest burger I have ever eaten. Fries were cooked to perfection. A definite repeater.

The burger and fries are are good. Larger portions, we split a meal. The staff was helpful and friendly, atmosphere was great.

The good is okay, not bad really but the environment is so noisy and the service people rude and unhelpful - been there twice - no more.

My son and I stopped by for a burger about 2:00 pm on a Monday afternoon. We both ordered a classic burger. He really enjoyed his but I got tired of the flavor about halfway through. Loved the fries though.

Went here with my son. I got the bbq roasted jalepno burger and it was excellent. Perfect size 1/3 burger (which is the optimum size). Great bbq/siracha sauch and cheese. All burgers come with bacon and bottomless fries and the fries are excellent. Crunchy on the outside but perfect on the inside. Of all the good portland burger places this is in the top 5.

This burger joint does a variety of burgers and they do them well. I had the Jose Mendoza which was a wonderful mix of spice and my wife had the classic. Great atmosphere and friendly waitstaff with decent prices, as most places we saw had NYC prices.

Visited one lunchtime and although it was busy was served very quickly. Ordered the burger with bacon and blue cheese and it was incredible - the perfect amount of sauce and cheese, am still thinking about it days later. Service was great and friendly and we would rush back if we were in the Portland area.

Several creative burgers await you on the menu of Killer Burger as well as many good beers. You just need to order at the counter and get a number then go find a table.

Went here for lunch. I got the Classic, my husband got the one that had peanut butter on it. He wanted to try something different and he loved it. I thought my Classic burger was great! Fries were good too!

Awesome burger and fries. We hung out at the bar and tried some local brews. Service was excellent and I canât wait to comeback. Great place!!!

Ate here lunch , food was tasty/very tasty and portions were very generous. Staff was friendly, mostly young kids.

Stopped in Portland for 1 night and didn't want fine dining. Saw reviews on this site so decided to try. Only 5 mins walk from our hotel. My husband was so... happy. A good all beef burger, always served with bacon and amazing fries. Good selection of beers too. I am a vegi and staff were very helpful. Pointed out that the onions were cooked in bacon fat so offered me the option to have raw. All delicious and reasonably priced. Very friendly staff, busy place with fun atmosphere. If you want silver service this is not the place for you. If you want great food with rolls of paper towels to keep you clean whilst you eat, give this place a go

Nice burger & fries, relaxing atmosphere. It was my first time there and will definitely have another in the future.

Great food, friendly staff awesome place! Can't say enough good things.so if your hungry and like a great burger this is the stop.

You know how mayo kind of ties together the flavors and consistencies of a deli sandwich. That's kind of what the peanut butter does here, but also adds a layer of barely detectable sweetness. That sweet and savory together; it makes your whole mouth happy. I gotta give some credit for their fries too. They don't get much of the spotlight on their reviews but they're really good. Cooked perfectly and very fresh tasting.

Tried this place downtown was craving a burger and man it was a good choice. They have many types of specialty burgers. Meat and sauce was great and not to pricey. I would recommend this place the only set backs is parking and the place is very loud.

I'd been wandering around; a power outage had turned off many places. I came upon Killer burgers, and fell on them with zest and gusto. The burger -- It was off of their main menu, and had bacon on it; can't remember the name -- was excellent. I wasn't really happy with the sauce for it, but I'd had the forethought to get the sauce on the side. Too heavy on the spices, didn't really add to the burger. Bottomless fries -- nice flavor, thick cut but crunchy through and through. Not soggy in the middle like some places. Real potato taste.

Old fashioned burger, bacon, special sauce. Thick fries. Will return for sure! Noisy. Music adds to the atmosphere.

A loud and uncomfortable environment. But the burger and fries were REALLY good. They also had a very nice selection of beer.

I was staying near by and was in the mood for a hamburger so I decided to try this place. The service was really good and food was even better. I had the spiciest one they make and it was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. the fries were also super crispy just like I ordered. I may go back before I leave this week.

This is a place to eat a juicy burger and listen to hard rock. Not really a place for conversation. Convenient downtown location, limited menu. You order at the counter and they'll call your name to pick up your burgers when they're ready. The burgers were excellent, and the fries were quite good. They have some interesting varieties, including a burger with peanut butter.

This place makes a seriously good hamburger accompanied with a generous helping of thick cut fries. I got the Teemah, which is a bacon burger with a thick blue cheese dressing. It was so filling I barely finished it! Everyone in our group enjoyed their meal.

What an amazing burger and great atmosphere! Hands down one of the best burgers I have ever eaten in my life! 5 guys needs to take a hint, you do not need to overcook a beef patty! 5 different amazing sauces! Fries were good. You definitely do not want to miss this place! You will not be sorry

I love that you order a burger and it comes with fries and bacon!! Who doesn't love bacon on your burger? These burgers are awesome, and they are big. I ordered a regular burger and couldn't finish it. Great fries too! They have some fun add-ons like egg, jalapeño's, etc. Perfect place to go for a quick bite! this is a order at the counter casual place, we will go back.

My wife and nephew had an excellent meal at this restaurant located at 8728 SE 17th in Portland Oregon. We all had a different type of burger. The meat was fantastic as well as the other garnishments. There is also a great menu of beers at this location. Their fries were also delicious and bottomless. The price was fair and the food and service was great. I would recommend this location to everyone.

I sat at the bar and Josh was a fantastic server. Super personable guy who made great recommendations. Very nice craft beer list. The Teemah burger was amazing! If you like bleu cheese, this is your burger. The fries were delicious as well. Cool atmosphere and a good spot to watch a game.

I'm not a huge fan of burgers but my sons persuaded me and we had walked for ages by then. I need not have worried because the burgers were all wonderful. I didn't realise there were so many variations and we all had different ones. The fries were good too and you were able to get a fries "top-up". It was quite busy late on a weekday.

How could you go wrong at a place where every burger has bacon on it? You cannot. Fries are good too!

Stopped in for a burger on a rainy Saturday night, burgers were excellent and very good value for money. Fries were really good and service was excellent (order at counter) recommended for a casual bite to eat

First night and close to our hotel. Has many great burger choices and bottomless fries. Spruce, the bartender was helpful and personable. Made a delicious and very relaxing cocktail as well! Good for comfort food after a long day of travel.

This is a great place to grab a burger! I appreciated being able to order my burger wrapped in lettuce and it was every bit as delicious as having one with a bun. Highly recommend the TeeMah!!

We were famished & the food was so tasty. We got what we ordered & it was superb. Our 1st time @ this establishment. The size of the burger was perfect. Pricewise was reasonable. Service was pleasant. Overall...10 !!!

Different choices from your average burger joint, and I say that in a good way. Nice atmosphere, friendly staff & quick service. Would recommend & hope to come back next time I'm in the area. :)

had a delicious burger and fries at Killer Burger in Portland! you will not go hungry with this choice!

One of THE BEST burgers my husband and I have had with great double fried fries!!! Be prepared for an alternative punk rock atmosphere. Thereâs rock/screamo music playing and was literally bbq sauce drips on the walls. The only food critique was my husbandâs chicken burger tasted fishy probably because the fryer oil needed to be changed. If the atmosphere sounds like a turn off, get it to go! Definitely donât pass up eating here!

Visited this Killer Burger last week Ordered 2 Meat Head burgers ( huge burger with 2 patties ) & 1 regular burger ( single patty ) All come with bacon & cheese & endless fries We are there between 3:00pm - 5:00pm and got $ 2 off on each meal so the MH was $ 10 & the reg was $ 8 Burger meat was excellent ( very Shake Shack like quality ) A must try if U R in the downtown Portland area U wonât be disappointed !

The staff made many recommendations and we decided to try the Classic, Jose Mendoza, and Teemah. The classic was good! The Jose Mendoza was amazing...chiles perfect! The Teemah was too much...and I love blue cheese...but take the strongest blue cheese and then add that and blue cheese dressing...it's alot of blue cheese. I don't recommend this one. Overall we liked it and would return. Staff was friendly, came around and offered french fries and also gave us free drink cups. Bacon on every burger is a plus!

Pretty good burgers and fries. The restaurant is pretty clean and the service pretty efficient. We came here after a long day out exploring Portland. We just had their normal burger and the kids all enjoyed their burgers as well

Just in the center very jummy Burger & Kids friendly. Only downside...you smell like a burger by yourself after youâve been there

Amazing burgers - meat and veggie - all rock! Had 7 hours in Portland and stopped at Killer Burger. Pick up only during COVID and still the staff was terrific and friendly - not curt and dismissive like a lot of "pick up only" places these days. Food and choices were great. You can pretty much customize any burger any way you like. Fries are equally awesome. Highly recommend this spot.

We were in town for a conference and needed some lunch. This place was perfect. The burgers were delicious, but we all LOVED the fries. They were crunchy on the outside but fluffy on the inside, and the sauce they gave us was amazing! We will definitely be back next year when weâre in town again.

The burgers really are killer and the fries were good too. Well rounded but small selection of beer (plus one cider.) The music was something like death metal/ punk so not really my thing, but I guess it fits the bill.

Great burgers and fries. Friendly service staff. Fast service and several tables to people watch and to enjoy the Portland freak show!

So we went by the fixed food trucks, nothing stood out for our cravings. We went in here on a whim. Great beer selection living on the east coast hard to find Deschutes Brewery Butte porter, which was a win. I ordered the Jose Mendoza on a recommendation from the cashier because I was between the meathead and that. Great decision, coming from a spoiled grilled with a BGE, one of top five burgers I didnât cook. There âBomb itâ hit Saudi is perfect for your spicy palette, mainly habaneros but balanced with an initial sweet taste. Fries are fresh and salt balanced. Def would come back if I lived here.

This place is amazing. The service was superb, the guy in the counter, Victor is great. I ordered a Fun guy burger but instead of onions and pickels I wanted tomato and lettuce and he was good about it. We asked him some beer recomendation and he gave us to try 4 different beers so we could choose the ones we really like. That was a Wow. My husband ordered a Teemah double burger. Both burgers were delicious and the fries were from another world, AMAZING, one of the best I have ever tryed. Victor was always going around asking how is everything, this is the first place for burgers that I see the employees are going around asking about the food. This place is highly recommended and for sure I will come back before leaving Portland.

Incredible burger, I ordered a double, great seasoning and spices, cooked perfectly, and quick service, thank you so much!!

We usually hit the Vancouver locations when we come through, have for years with our kids. When staying at the Kimpton and visiting Powellâs - tada there it was, pure awesomeness to behold! Great location, food as âkillerâ as always. Adult beverages and more!

Ok, a couple of things. Go to the bathroom BEFORE you go there, lest you need to use one of the two universal bathrooms. While I only had the good fortune of using the left one, it reeked of urine. (Hungry?) Ordering was easy and the gentleman who took our order was helpful. The burgers were FANTASTIC and they have gluten free buns. (Yippee!) honestly, really good. The nice gentleman who took our order forgot my husbandâs beer and had to be asked twice. (Nope, it wasnât busy.) And another odd thing? The floor was strangely slippery. People kept slipping. So weird. But they put more rugs down while we were there. Again, GREAT burger. But kind of like eating in a dirty frat house with the occasional homeless person coming into get water from the soda options.

It was a best burger I've tried so far & fries were really delicious. We were not sure about the beer to choose and the guy at the counter (Viktor) offer to try almost every one they have untill we decide which one we like. Really nice place. Definatly will go here again.

We stopped by for the $10 lunch special. I should of guessed it would be small for $10 as it was. The burger was nice but you could finish it in 4 bites. You donât get the size of burgers you see in photos.

Seriously. This is the best, tasty, juiciest burger I have EVER had. Good gawd. The mushroom and cheese burger was amazing. The killer punch drink was INCREDIBLE, and this place rocks. Fries were killer too. Wow. Burgers done amazingly well. Go here get the double meat and cheese and enjoy the sinful beauty of the explosion of tastiness.

My wife and I stopped for a light dinner after a day of travel. My wife had the Classic while I had the Bender. Both were delicious. The bender had a kick of spices without being over the top. Both came with some of the best Fried we have ever had.

Had lunch here shortly after checking into hotel. I wanted a good burger and beer within easy walking distance, and this delivered. Great burger (they all come with bacon - how civilized) and I had three great beers (lager, pilsner, and kolsch). Fries are good too. Friendly service. If you are not with kids I definitely recommend sitting on the bar side - much quieter and nicer.

Our family came here for lunch looking for burgers. Wow. The burgers are huge and they are good. Fries are also excellent. One might consider the smaller child size meals, which are not really all that small. Crowded at lunch but they serve rather quickly.

I went in to grab a quick take-out for my hotel, located a block away. The order line was several people deep just a couple minutes after 5pm on a Saturday. Thankfully, you can order from the bar and take a seat while you wait. The bartenders were friendly and helpful. I liked all of the options, although sadly missing avocado, and thankfully you can opt out of the bacon they are so excited to include in every order. I modified the Jose Mendoza to exclude the bacon and make it spicier. Their secret spicy sauce gave an okay heat. Overall the patty wasn't bad, but also nothing as exceptional as I expected from other reviews. Nothing special to me about the bun and weird they didn't include the usual lettuce and tomatoes. The quality of the egg on top was low, like a bad diner friend egg. If you are going to add an egg on a burger, it has to add a layer of flavor, which this egg just didn't do. I couldn't taste it, so it just seemed like a way to make it gut buster, apropos of the bacon obsession. Toss bacon on it and everyone forgives the shortcomings? The fries were horrid. Half of the fries were crispy and warm, and I could taste to potato. However, half of the fries in my order were overdone and burned-out, as if they never cleaned the frier. Ick. I tired a couple of their extra sauces for my fries, and they were okay, but there isn't all that much special about some siracha added to what seemed like a generic big-bottle BBQ sauce. I'm glad the bartender talked me out of ordering the peanut butter sauce. It sounded interesting but I think I was saved. The other problem, I walked in the door before 5:10pm, and finally walked out with my order at 5:57. Kinda annoying to sit at a bar waiting for a burger when not wanting a drink, but again the bartenders saved me with plenty of water and assuring me that my order would arrive. I'm glad I was sitting there and not standing around in the restaurant by the door on a chilly night. Wildly annoying to wait all that time and have a mediocre meal. I tipped my fries in the trash and ordered guacamole from room service to salvage my evening. The meal gets 2 stars, but my review gets 3 because the bartenders were so nice.

Stopped in for a quick bite. The burgers were fresh and delicious ( though a little messy). Not much for atmosphere but a great burger at a good price.

Horrible food and crappy customer service from braindead employees. This sorry excuse of a restaurant, as well as the whole Killer Burger chain, should be shut down. I'll stick to something cheaper but that has much better customer service and not stupid, worthless employees. This place is so overrated its almost comical. Seriously, SCREW KILLER BURGER!!!

I've been here several times and can always count on a mouth watering delicious burger that always includes bacon (gasp!). Servers are friendly and work with special requests to make it the way you want. Prices are good for what you get and you'll leave satisfied.

We stumbled on Killer Burger by accident, in search of a cold beer. Sat at the bar and the cold beer was excellent, 10 choices on tap. I am a fan of a plain, burger with neat, bun, cheese and the usual sauce or mustard/relish. I had the purist, under $10.00, it was the best burger I have had in a long time, juicy, well cooked, a soft bun , perfectly dressed. It came with bottomless fries. They have many more burgers, Josh the most excellent bar keep recommended the PBPB Burger...peanut-butter pickle-bacon . If I am fortunate enough to return this will be my next choice. So glad we found this place, would recommend it to anyone.

This place has awesome burgers and can get you in and out fairly quick! The only downside was that this place is small and if you want to ear there, you have to be quick to grab a table.

They have a classic burger, but if you are looking for something unique this is the place for you! They have a bacon, peanut butter, and pickle burger which was phenomenal! The fries were crispy and delicious as well.

I had the best burger I've ever eaten. Perfectly cooked with fries and bacon. I had the Jose Mendoza. Bacon and fries come with every burger. The service was so great. Really friendly staff. Gluten free bun that was the best I've had. #killersummer wish I had this in Seattle.

Wow talk about good burgers. They have almost everything you could imagine to put on a burger. If you like a payed back vibe and awesome burgers stop by here

Had to try with a name like Killer. Burger was very very good. Not cheap but very tasty. They are friendly and the place is very welcoming. I told them what I wanted on it and it came exactly the way I like my burger...medium well. Fries are good. Beer is good. Nice place to go by yourself or with a big group.

Tried the classic burger with fried. It was alright. My set also came with a soft drink. Service was as per the expectation of a fast food joint.

In order to clarify, I'm reviewing the Wilsonville, OR location although it wasn't listed. I popped into the restaurant for takeout at 5pm this afternoon, as it's conveniently located near the grocery store. The gentleman who took my order was friendly, repeated it back for accuracy and invited me to make myself comfortable as I waited. I'd say it took about 7 minutes? Our home is only a short drive so food was hot upon arrival. We were pleased that our special requests (no sauce, lettuce wrap style etc were honored). Burgers are 1/3 lb which in my opinion is a substantial portion. The bun was soft and fresh, meat so juicy and bacon cooked to perfection! My only complaint would be that the lettuce, tomato and grilled onion was a bit sparse. The fries were a generous portion, nicely seasoned and piping hot! Here's the kicker for me - Killer Burger is nearly the same price as dried up, nasty 1/4" thin Carl's Jr. burger and fast food fries! So if you're heading down I-5, take one more exit for some real food!

Called her for a quick bite after a road journey. Staff were great and very helpful. Burger would run rings round McDonaldâs. Skin on fries were yummy to. Able to get a choice of about 7 different beers to wash it down đ

you can seat inside or outside! The service is fast a very good. The enviroment is cool and fresh.. you also have an area for drinks. The price is very good too. The fried potatoe is really very good!

My adult daughter and I visited during a recent trip to Portland. The burgers, fries, and drinks were really good and the servers were friendly. We appreciated the various types of burgers available. We sat at a tall two top in the bar. Service was quick. The only problem we had was that it was quite warm in the restaurant that evening, and by the time we were done eating I felt like it was way too warm for comfort.

Killer Burger -- I mean, with a name like that, you have to try it, right? Nice brewhouse style downtown location. Very friendly service. Which burger? Well - hard to choose. Whole list of tantalizing choices. We went for the Classic, basic cheeseburger -- Oh, all the burgers come with bacon, so don't have choose that. Enough for two -- well, I could have eaten more, but I had plenty. Very good fries! Special sauce -- even grilled onions! Awesome! Will do this again!

While wandering around downtown Portland, we saw Killer Burger and all the customers. So we wandered in there. We ordered, sat down and the burgers arrived. We each had the fun guy burger with mushrooms with fondue cheese and fries. It was very tasty and excellent. The atmosphere was enhanced with lively music and variety of customers. Prices were between 10 - 12 dollars for burgers with fries.

Amazing cheeseburger and fries. When the guy taking our order heard we were on vacation, he changed our order from a soda to one of their draft craft beers. Small ear-and-go eclectic grunge vibe, but great first stop off the plane in Portland.

These burgers are incredible. Great value. They may Kill you, but at least you've gone eating something this great. Must try

Loved our burgers. Some creative options. I had the mushroom and Swiss which was amazing. They have some "special" sauce that is really good. They also offer bottomless fries but I was too full to even finish my fries and I ordered the pint size burger.

This is one of those places you walk place and mean to go into well do it. Wonderful helpful staff very nice. The veggie hemp burger was delicious and chips so good. But the death punch is a killer tastes great but so strong don't need another good beer choices.

I'd just arrived in Portland to visit friends, and we were looking for somewhere quick and easy to eat. I'd seen this place on my journey in and thought it'd make for a good meal. I was not prepared for the amount of options they had! I ended up going for the burger with the crispy onions (holding the BBQ) and I really should've gotten the smaller version, but the dude made it sound like I'd be getting a slider sized burger. I've had bariatric surgery so I can't eat that much, but this burger was so good I took it back to the hotel and continued to eat it for the next THREE HOURS. Worth it. Will come back again.

We had been traveling for several days and just had that BURGER craving. Got this location from a local and took the leap. It is just what the name implies "Killer Burgers" Josh was great at the bar and full of the information on the food and the area.

This is the flagship location of the franchise, but it's only a Northwest thing and I don't believe there are even 10 yet (but they're expanding). It's a two-room setup on the corner of the block, one side with a full bar and not much non-bar seating, the other with about 10 tables for eating. They're made fresh and you can definitely see them getting made. They're all done essentially the same classic way with bacon and cheese and then a variety of toppings you pick, and they have suggestions many of which are great. The Peanut Butter Pickle Bacon sounds weird but as long as you like all those things they are super together. The fries are mostly crispy but I don't personally like them all that "potato-ey"--I like them thin enough that doesn't happen, and these are just a bit thicker but for the most part good. If you're traveling and want to try local Portland/Oregon beers you could do worse than a Killer franchise. 5-8 beers on tap and a Coke fountain are basically the beverages on the restaurant side but they may have other options I didn't notice. If you like it quiet, try someplace else. Loud rock is usually playing and while they've strayed from an all heavy metal format, it can get pretty noisy for say, lunch with clients. (Unless they really dig burgers). Not THE best burger in town, but consistently very good and even the service is a cheerful step up from prototypical Portland-aloof. If a burger you be wanting, this is a convenient downtown stop.

Stopped in one afternoon for lunch â actual just happened to be passing by (the one on 510 SW 3rd). Turns out they have a great burger and do NOT skimp on it or the fries that come with it! My girl and I decided to split a Teemah (Bacon, Melted & Crumbled Bleu, House Sauce, Grilled Onion & Pickle). With each half of the buger, we received a mound of fries. So food and services get an A-O-K from us.

Had the "bender" and I loved the crispy jalapenos!! My husband had the "classic" and he wasn't disappointed. Beware if you don't like bacon in your burger - they all come with it and you have to specify otherwise. Will definitely try to go again the next time we visit.

My first ever trip to Killer Burger... and hopefully not my last! The fries were even delicious, but the burger was incredible So tasty!

The name says it all. The burgers rocked. Great variety, very good quality, awesome fries (all you can eat), fair price. Maybe good that we don't have - would gain extra lbs.

My friends and I were in town for work and found Killer Burgers. These juicy, perfectly seasoned gigantic burgers are the type to kill for. We went back more than on e in the 3 days we were in Portland. Make sure you have a hearty appetite because itâs big delicious portions!

I ordered on of their hamburgers, hoping to eat only a portion of it but after one bite I consumed the rest. Along with the fries ( I seldom eat them ) and a decadent brownie and I am Full and very happy. This is one of the best burgers/meals I've had in awhile and I go back again and again.

Killer experience. The pickle peanut butter was way over the top. Couldn't eat but 1/2 as a tourist with my grand nephew it was awesome. Love it.

I was not at all impressed with this place. The fries were mediocre at best and the burger was an unstable mess. You couldnât even bite the thing without having it self destruct. The flavors did not belong together and the meat tasted cheap. I did not care for anything about this place. The dining area was cold and cramped and the restrooms were dirty. Maybe itâs because I was ready to leave Portland as soon as I got there but it reminded me of something you might find in San Francisco. We did not finish our burgers and, instead, went to Cracker Barrel and ate. If you find yourself in Portland donât bother with Killer Burger even Red Robin is much, much better.

Great Place. Loved the peanut butter burger and the staff was very nice. Will definitely be coming back. Too bad it won't be until next year.

I guess it is a golden age of boutique burger joints and although Killer Burger has a distinct flavor and vibe, it wasn't a "wow" burger. It was quite good and ranks in the top third of these kinds of places but nothing superlative. The bun was of good quality and fries were crispy/fluffy, and all was well seasoned...just not amazing. I would eat here again if nearby and there were nothing new or unique instead. I had the Blender: Bacon, BBQ Sriracha, Crispy Jalapeños, House Sauce, Grilled Onion, Cheddar. Problem was i couldn't really pick out any of the textures or flavors...kind of got lost but overall still good.

Cool place for drinks and burgers, loud music mostly appealing to the younger generations , but the burger is truly a killer.

I was looking for a casual bite and came across Killer Burger. On the menu I found the PBPB- Bacon, PB Sauce, House Sauce, Mayo, Grilled Onion & Pickle. I couldn't believe there was such a thing and knowing that the chances of ever seeing it on a menu near me were slim, I had to try it. I ordered it without the mayo 'cause that was a bridge too far LOL. I can't stop thinking about how good it was, juicy, sweet, savory awesomeness! I will try it at home. BTW... Killer Burger offers other interesting combinations as well as the classics. Each order includes fries and there are options for smaller sized burgers.

We had the Mushroom/Swiss/Bacon burger. It was very juicy and wonderful. The service is good and the prices are very reasonable. Just a fun place to be.

Searched online around for my hotel looking for someone to eat and found Killer Burger Almost too many options. They have sheets for you to order what you want and I made the mistake of thinking the items listed on the menu would already be included; they weren't so some of the things I wanted weren't on the burger. But the burger was still excellent as were the fries and it was.

Wow! Best burger ever!! Great fries too. We have never been to Portland, Oregon. We needed a quick dinner after our flight. We found a good place!

Endured a cashier who was practically falling asleep while taking an order. She was confused, and seemed as if she was unaware we were standing in front of her. When the order came up, she passed by our table three times before we went to get the food from her. Horrible service all around. The one burger, peanut butter, was pretty good. But the useless service killed that.

I remember walking by this place a few times. The logo stuck in my mind. It looked like a very disgruntled burger with manic tendencies. So I figured it must be some over the top burger joint. Boy was i surprised when I walked inside yesterday. It was more like a bar that has a spcial range of burgers. And nothing at all like a simple run of the mill fast food burger joint. It was a cool looking place where you can have a drink and have a burger as well. I ordered the Classic Burger and I think it was a Bloodshed Red Beer. this came to $15.45 and was well worth the price. Glad I finally strolled into this place to check it out. I like the art on the wall as well. Johnny Cash looks pretty intense in that pose.

My husband ,son and I tried it one night because our old burger place closed. We drove down town. Small easy menu burgers. You get the fries free. We Loved it !!!!! Our family visited a few months later from Virgina and we found out there was a Killer Burger down the street from the house they rented , on 17th street. It's our go to place for burgers.

Really good burgers. Reminded me a lot of Five Guys. Bacon on every burger is pretty awesome. Good quality ingredients. Great sauces. Would 100% return.

The food here is really good- I had the veggie classic option and it was really tasty. My boyfriend had the meat/funguy burger which also ticked all the boxes. You get a large portion of fries with the burger which we barely touched, so make sure you go when you're hungry!

Just a great place and burger with friends! The food tasted really great! At first I was not too keen on a burger with peanut sauce...., but it was just great!

Burgers and especially the frieze: five stars! Cleanliness an asterisk deduction. Tables were glued. But did not stop the experience. Absolutely must if you want to eat a killer burger in Portland.

The only thing Iâd add to the title is friendly bartenders. This is a basic place but delivers 100%.

Popped in just before lunch rush (got lucky - small place, limited seating, popular joint for lunch). Good selection of signature burgers, all with fresh toppings and fresh fries. All burgers at 1/3 lb but if your stomach is a bottomless pit, can up it to 2 patties. One patty pretty much left us groaning. Good variety of local brews and usual assortments of other drinks and spirits. Service is bustling but quick and efficient. Prices are better than you'd expect for the quality of the burgers.

I wish we had one of these in my town!! The burgers are AMAZING. The beer is great. The staff is super friendly. Stop here. Youâll love it.

Had a great burger here. Tried the Teemah with yummy blue cheese and bacon, generous delish fries. I'd go back here and try some of their other interesting burgers

I heard praises of this place. Decided to check it out. It was a casual dining atmosphere. Sticky table. Burger was ok. Not amazing. Shake shack burger is much better. Good beer choices.

I flew in from Anchorage to attend a conference. This place popped up on my nearby. They had a garden burger option so I decided to try. I'm so glad I did. I sat at the bar ordered a Rouge draft and scoffed at two other patrons that got Coors Light. I mean who goes to a beer city and orders bad beer?! The bartender was kind enough to mention that the grilled onions were cooked in bacon fat. My chosen burger - Jose Mendoza - had wonderful and flavorful green chilies. It was the best burger I've had in a long time! The fries were top notch too. Definitely will go back.

We really loved our burgers! The fries were great too and included in the price. The music was a bit loud for conversation but that is my only complaint. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had some pint sized burgers and one full sized. I was plenty full with the pint sized and fries and I have a decent appetite. I enjoyed the Barnyard burger but tasted my son's that had mushrooms (I can't remember the name) and it was divine!

Everyone said this was the best burger in town. I felt it was good, but nothing over the top extraordinary. Not worth a special trip, but stop in and try it if you're in town. Walking distance from the Hilton if you don't have a problem with walking through street kids selling dirty pipes, homeless people walking all around, and others just hanging out doing nothing. Enjoy!!!

...what the buzz is all about. We had the classic and it was good, but not special. Peanut butter was not an option for us, so maybe we missed out there. We did appreciate they cut our burger into two and served us on two plates with a portion of fries on each (they are bottomless, but some restaurants resist splitting plates). Nice happy hour specials too. Menus were kinda sticky and could use more regular visits through the sanitary cycle of the wash.

Share review Embed review Write an update Edit review 8/27/2019 3 photos 1 check-in My husband and I stopped here for a bite to eat. I was intrigued by their menu variety and uniqueness. My husband ordered the peanut butter pickle burger. It basically allows everyone to experience pregnancy cravings (or so I heard). My husband enjoyed the burger but said it got too sweet towards the end. I ordered the Fun Guy burger without cheese on a lettuce wrap. Overall a solid burger. Note, the place has very greasy floors which I had seen a few people slide around. Also, they have a full-service bar to enjoy to ensure your thirst is quenched.

I got the Tofurkey vegan burger with the crispy jalapenos and bbq sauce. She kindly subbed onions for me after letting me know they are cooked in bacon grease. I didn't expect much from the patty but it was actually really good! Toppings were fantastic and fries delicious. Good value as well.

The atmosphere really represents what Portland is about and has a great "weird Portland" vibe that is fantastic. The service is fantastic they greet you and take your order right away and within a few minutes there is a big delicious burger in front of you. The burger itself isn't too complicated with a bunch of weird stuff on it and is a great portion size. The patty is large, juicy, and cooked just right with melty cheese on top. The fries are thick and crispy which is a great side to the already delicious burger.

Good choices as to variety of hamburgers to choose from. The fries were excellent. The craft beer choices were more than enough for whatever style you like. Fun location in the downtown area. I would return for sure.

This place...oh my goodness!! You have got to try the peanut butter burger!! It's so good. Nice joint, good atmosphere, and fast service. Plus things you'd not get to try just anyplace!!

You can never go wrong here when you are looking for a freshly made, delicious burger! It is a Portland tradition to come here, stand in line and talk to the locals. Great food at a great price!

Great location in downtown Portland - across from one of the food cart locations. Order at the counter - efficient - and a number of burger choices - all 1/3 lb of meat. Burger was excellent and the fries were hot and fresh. Both appeared to be made in house rather that frozen. I would definitely eat here again. One of the best burgers in downtown Portland. Prices were approximately 12.00 for the burger and bottomless fries.

Awesome spot! Super casual and best burgers! Fries come with every burger and the burgers are creative, but you can also get traditional:) Really worth a stop!

It's nice they give as snack a plate of fries. The burger (we got 3 classics) were average and very messy to eat. They don't warm up the buns, so you get a cold burger where the only warm part is the meat. The staff is very friendly, we loved Kalida

I was walking around the area and getting hungry. The seating was just about full which shows me good place. There was a line for ordering just about the whole time I was there. You order and they bring it. I had a big burger , fries and a beer. $16. All very good.

Tasty burgers with refreshing brew was a great start to our downtown Portland experience. Staff was friendly, food was fast and delicious.

My husband and I parked in the parking area right next to this location to wander around downtown. After a few hours of shopping we decided to hit this joint for a bloody mary as the bar had a good vibe! Excellent customer service & tasty drinks! Mind you I wasn't hungry but I had to try their specialty burger! Idk how peanut butter works on a burger but it was on point, YUM! Great Experience here! The bartender told us about a bunch of stuff going on to check out and 8t did not disappoint. Found some great stuff at the Saturday market just a few blocks away!

Terrible is the only word that comes to mind. The flavour of bacon and their not so good sauce dominated the burger. I couldn't eat even half the burger as it was overwhelming with their house sauce which tasted of cumin. The fries tasted like they were cooked in old oil. They have rolls of paper towels that had finger prints of the previous users all over the end of the roll. Yuck.

Low brow, no frills, gritty, classic Portland burger joint. Very, very good burgers, pretty good bottomless fries and beer at a reasonable price. If you have a hankering for a burger in Portland donât go anywhere else.

This place didnât look the cleanest. But the people were nice. And the burger was pretty awesome. The fries were also very good. The special sauce was good and the burger meat itself was great. A great daft food place

Huge burgers, fresh and tasty. Great fries. Inexpensive. In a fun part and of town. Loved it. If you are in the area itâs worth a visit.

Pro: They serve pretty good burgers - if you don't mind eating GMO food loaded with MSG. Con: Extremely rude & unprofessional staff. I was at their Portland downtown location on 10/29 around 6.00 PM. I didn't get the name of that extremely rude & unprofessional staff. He looks Caucasian, thin, only one there with glasses at that time. I will never visit this location again and tell as many people I know about the awful experience there. I wonder if their bad hiring caused their NW 23rd location to close.

I had high hopes of just a good old fashioned burger and fries. The fries were fine, but the burger meat itself was really just gross. It tasted like it was literally washed of flavor and like it had filler in it to make it soft. Very very spongy and unappetizing. The piece of bacon laying across my fries for some reason was only mediocre and left a horrible taste of âliquid smokeâ in my mouth. I had to get to the doughnut shop quick to get that taken care of! I will never entertain the idea of eating at killer burger again and will let my friends and family in Portland know as well. If I knew that I could bring food from the food trucks across the street to eat at their outdoor tables, as I saw others do while I was inside, I would have.

My family and I ate here after walking all around downtown. We walked by Killer Burger, it looked good, so we went in. We're so glad we did! We all had different burgers and they were all delicious! I especially liked the Fun Guy! We'll definitely eat here again.

If you're looking for a real, American, loaded cheeseburger...this is it. I've tried every burger and have yet to find one that's not amazing. If I had to choose, I would say that the barnyard is the best. Ham, egg, sauce, grilled onions, beef, cheese, and of course bacon (which comes on every burger). What else is there to say? Also, ask for a side of their house sauce for dipping your fries into.

Went to Portland for the first time and stoped by this place just on my way downtown, and it was one of the top 2 burgers I'm ever had. It was so good, went back the next day after hiking the gorge, but they were closed for Labor Day!

I spent a few weeks in town and this is the best burger place around. The peanut butter burger is awesome, definitely worth a try. They also had a great beer selection. Definitely will go back when I'm in town

Perfect place after a long flight to Portland. Their Fun Guy burger with bacon and mushrooms was particularly yummy. Killer fries, too!

Their burgers are truly delicious! We loved the different sauces for the fries, some of they were very tasty. We did not care for the peanut butter; it was very thick and hard to dip a fry. Their prices were reasonable - all burgers seem to be very expensive nowadays.

Came here for a burger after a day of walking around & shopping in Portland. I had to try the peanut butter pickle bacon burger as it is the most talked about burger on the menu. Glad I tried it, but wonât have another. The other options on the menu look amazing & every burger there comes with bacon! Canât wait to go back!

The people were very nice. The food was excellent, and the burgers felt home made. If you're not pretty hungry, get the mini.

Decided to have a burger instead of 3rd Avenue food pod choices...very glad we did! Counter service ambiance, automatic fries, and juicy well accessorized burgers hit the spot!

First, the young man helping us at the order counter was fab! Most helpful, fun, great banter...sorry we didn't get his name. The burgers were very good. Plenty of bacon, cheese, etc. French fries perfectly crispy. We were in town visiting and no rushing us out while we visited. Would definitely dine there again.
Must eat !!!
Little load for out liking but was the most amazing burgers we ha e had out here Very fun environment exciting g my guy could stop dancing in their seats( they are 2) lol Making my mouth water again just thinking about it đ€€
