NOT because we love Sushi but because our kids (6 & 11) loved it. Food is amazing. Service is unbelievable. AND they have karaoke where you can see some super talented visitors!!!

We've been here a few times and the sushi is really good, although we did feel that the rolls were quite a bit smaller this time. The self selection menu is a nice touch and it's easy to order as you go. Depending on the crowd you get in (often conference people) the atmosphere and karaoke talent can vary. This visit was a little noisy, but still fun and entertaining. Good place for a light dinner and drinks.

We go to Kimonos every year when we visit Walt Disney World. We love sushi and have eaten it at many different restaurants over the years. Kimonos sushi is definitely our favorite. It is delicious, fresh and beautifully presented. The relaxed ambience at the restaurant is just right. Most of the wait staff have been there for years so we have gotten to know them. Each time we go to Kimonos, they greet us warmly and chat with us. Meghan has waited on us many times over the past 14 years. She greets us with a big hug and a beaming smile. She takes great care of us and always remembers our special preferences... Gluten-Free soy sauce and extra picked ginger. We can't wait to go again for our favorite rolls-rainbow and shrimp tempura. Ummmm. S&C

Really enjoy this place, usually very consistent but when it gets super busy wait times for sushi can be long. Very fresh and most of the service is friendly.

Extremely average sushi, and an extremely above average price. Edamame priced higher than Morimoto Asia. That should say it all.

Hands down best sushi in Orlando!šš¼ Awesome vibe with great servers and bartenders and Karaoke too! Sushi is so fresh and delicious, I havenāt found a place in either NYC or Miami that compares! The chefs do and amazing job. Canāt wait to go back for fun, drinks and sushi!

awesome every time we go I leave thinking how amazing the meal was, the sushi is always very fresh and the service is awesome as well.

We had sushi and sashimi here at the sushi bar. It was adequate. There was not a very exciting selection of fish. Service was fine. this is a casual spot that doesn't take reservations.

Repeat customers! Love this sushi restaurant and our awesome waitress, Meagan. We always stop by Kimonos on our Disney trip, looking forward to next year already.

Fantastic food great service The food , the service and the place is amazing . The sushi rolls really fresh and so good . Would highly recommend this place to any one . And if youāre staying in the swan or dolphin so handy

We had several really super meals at Kimonos in July of this year. We were staying in the Swan hotel so it was very convenient, but we will be returning to Kimonos even when we dont stay at the Swan as we had such super evenings there. There is a good range of sushi on offer, it is well prepared and beautifully presented and the prices are really ever so reasonable. They will also adjust their standard offerings if requested, which is really super. Several times we stayed for the karaoke, which is not usually my kind of thing, but was excellent fun and really really well executed. Highly recommend Kimonos.

The food and service was good. I wanted sushi and this was a good quick place. Theres also other rice plates too. Had adult beverages but I didn't have any. I love the kimonos that were hanging around the restaurant. The price was decent too.

Was in Orlando for a conference and stopped in for dinner. It was excellent. I sat at the sushi bar and asked about what was good. The sushi chefs helped guide me to a great meal. I particularly enjoyed the kimchee salad with octopus and the eel. The sushi was fresh and the service very friendly. I would note that this place is on the pricey side. Good sushi is never cheap, and this is a resort area. So, be prepared for an expensive meal.

This place is a perennial winner. Small and comfortable with outstanding service, the sushi here is fresh and simply the best around. Whether you get a table or snag a seat at the bar, you're in good hands. Not just for guests of the hotel-- park in the hotel lot and get your parking validated. Worth the drive

The dining room is on the small side. They do have a bar and a sushi bar(seats about 6-8). The prices were a little on the high side. The portion was small to average. It is something different in a Disney Hotel.

Always GREAT seeing friends Kim & Kevin at Kimonos! #dreamon#blackhorseinacherrytree p.s. Sorry about the Pixie Dust. I promise to bring more next time!

We ate here on a Saturday evening. They donāt take reservations so we arrived around 5:20 there was a small line already. Once they opened at 5:30 we were seated. They have a nice drink menu. Great service, really nice sushi selection. Also they will valet your car for free if your not staying at the resort, just show your server your slip from the valet and they will validate your ticket. Canāt wait to go back and stay for the karaoke.

Iāve been here a few times and itās a āmustā for us whenever we come to the Swan. The sushi is incredible and they have karaoke every night. Our server was friendly and checked on us often. I have the Kimonos roll and jalapeƱo roll. Both were excellent! Iāll be back again soon!

We went for the Karaoke. The service was awesome. We had several people helping our table. The food was decent, fresh sushi made to order. The drinks weren't my favorite. They had a lot of Asian spice and flavor so don't go in thinking you are getting an island Mai Tai or anything. They weren't very strong, at least not enough to get me up to sing Karaoke but watching was so fun. The staff made the experience even better with their fun attitudes. Please do not take kids in for Karaoke. It really brings down the pace of adult fun.

We last visited Kimonos in 2012 and we couldn't wait to come back for their Dragon roll. We loved the atmosphere and the friendly service on our last visit, however we were made to feel so much more special this time around. The staff are so helpful and when they found out we were recently married, they couldn't do enough for us. We visited Kimonos a total of 3 times during or visit and each time was fantastic! We could not recommend enough and will be coming back as soon as we can!

We eat sushi frequently. Great rolls as well as appetizers. Quick and efficient service. Everyone enjoyed it so much we are here twice in 5 days.

Came in for late sushi and cocktails--both were great! Sushi very fresh. Karaoke was a lot of fun too!

We enjoyed the kimono roll and a nice glass of sake as a snack. Relaxing and great service. We have eaten here many times over the years and it is always consistently good.

We had a great experience at kimonos. After a long day at the park, we were worried we wouldn't be able to find any quality food late night. Kimonos is open until midnight, and the sushi was great. Everything came out quickly and the service was good too. I would definitely recommend.

My wife and I are annual passholders for Walt Disney World so we may be a little bit biased but actually were not. This is the best hands down sushi restaurant we have ever been to and believe me we have been around. If you are anywhere in the Orlando area I can only tell you if you love sushi missing this place would be your biggest mistake.

We had sushi. The waitress was great and the sushi was better than average. Only downside was the cost. The two positives didnāt make up for the expense.

This restaurant was conveniently located in the Swan Hotel, where we were staying. I don't eat sushi but they had some other tasty options and it was a nice change from some of the faster food park meals. The servers were very attentive and kind and recommended dishes that I might like. Everything they suggested was good. It was a little pricey but a good experience and I would eat there again.

Within the Disney Swain Resort. So what? .... felt the prices here were very reasonable, quality good, decor very soothing, service pleasant. Sometimes we get wrapped up in Resorts so we look beyond their poor restaurants. Kimonos breaks that mold. To me (my home sushi are garnished differently & are larger) Kimonos's rolls are fresh & tasty. Eight pcs is a roll. Had: Dragon, Cajun, & JalapeƱo. Had their Katsu (they have both cod & chicken), and although frying a bit too much to me, it may be fine to you. Three pcs of good size. They give you a thin-mayo-sauce they call a foam as it's whipped; nice accompaniment. Tall ceilings, comfortable chairs, relaxing atmosphere.

We stayed at the Dolphin Resort in Epcot and were searching for something fun to do for dinner. We saw Kimonos advertised in the hotel information flyer, so we decided to try it. It said that they had karaoke available. We were pleasantly surprised with the fun and friendly atmosphere along with our server Megan. Megan was the best server we have ever had at any restaurant anywhere. She made us feel like family, she made us laugh, and we almost didn't want to leave. The food was incredible also. We will definitely return to Kimonos for dinner the next time we stay in Epcot !

We dined here for dinner on our Hollywood Studios day. We walked here taking the path from Hollywood Studios to the Boardwalk and then crossed the bridge to The Swan. This restaurant does not take reservations, but we had no problem getting a table when it opened at 5:30. The sushi was well-prepared and tasty. The rolls were definitely on the small side. Service was excellent.

This evening's progressive Disney dinner took us to Kimonos (Swan) for sushi and Cocktails, Flying Fish (Boardwalk) for Entrees ( Blue Zoo was an option previous night), and finally, to Ample Hills Creamery (Boardwalk) for dessert. Kimonos seemed to be consistently busy every evening, so we arrived at 5:30pm opening time, without reservations, and snagged a table and watched the restaurant fill up. Kimonos offers a nice variety of sushi and sashimi, among other offerings. The tuna sashimi was fresh. The 3 rolls we sampled for the 3 of us were on the "dainty" side. Flavors good. Real crab can be substituted for "Krab" for an upcharge.. The Japanese version of a boulevardier, with a Japanese blended whiskey, very similar to a negroni, was well liked. As with all Disney restaurants, you will see kids and strollers, and people in tshirts.

Our kids eat pretty much anything but going to a sushi restaurant is always a little bit of a gamble as there are rarely kids menus. And also here at Kimonos there wasn't a kid menu. But the waitress was very friendly and started pointing out all the items she thought could be kid friendly and she was spot on. For ourselves we ordered soup, sushi, fish, and a couple of other items. We enjoyed every single item and in fact thought everything was very good. Add to the good food, the service (thanks Christy L.), being child friendly and feeling for about an hour of not being in disney - we certainly will go back when at the Dolphin or Swan

Visited twice last week and the rolls were very good both times. I did notice a big difference in the quality of service for Japanese and others. On both instances, they did not bother to bring hot towels to our table. Looking around, Japanese visitors got towels. Very short in conversation with us as well while extremely friendly with Japanese. This is okay with me...just a comment on service. I just left no tips and told them why. Otherwise, good Japanese food at the Dolphin hotel

Meghan makes every visit special....she is attentive and upbeat and fun. Love the food and the service. I only wish it was closer to where i live so i could go more often.

We ate here during a recent Swan trip. It is small and quiet which is very different from virtually everything in the area, although they do have karaoke at 9 PM. Food is just sushi but it is excellent. Service is also very good. This is a nice departure on a Disney trip.

The sushi was fresh and flavorful. We had gyoza, edemame, nigiri and several rolls. All were great! Service was great! We were pleasantly surprised!

Went to Kimonos on a weeknight after coming up empty on reservations at a Disney restaurant. Last minute and went there with three kids. As a sushi restaurant, expected it to be unfriendly to kids. Went early to ensure that they wouldn't distract as many diners. Boy were my instincts wrong. The entire staff made us feel so welcome, my kids included. The manager, Meaghan, told me stop apologizing for them. Gave us so much attention and impeccable service. The staff even entertained the kids and gave them free desserts. Oh yeah, almost forgot: the sushi and sake also tasted great.

I ate at this restaurant on the last night of my stay, and I immediately regretted not finding it sooner. The rolls were fantastic - if I recall correctly, we tried the dragon roll, wasabi roll, and something with tempura shrimp. They were all delicious. The highlight of the meal was the drink - I had the raspberry sake sangria, and it was one of the best mixed drinks I've ever had. This restaurant is definitely a little pricey - 2 drinks and three rolls came to about $70 + tip, but it was well worth it.

This was quite a surprise. Very good Sushi, the dragon roll is outstanding. The cocktails are excellent as well. You make no mistake.

This is our second time that weāve visited Kimonos, first time last year and now for #RunDisney weekend. The staff go above and beyond to make you feel comfortable. Perfect restaurant for any sushi lover. Highly recommend the crispy pan seared rice, a new edition to the menu as one of the staff told us. Will 100% return it and when weāre back on the resort. Thank you guys, keep up the phenomenal work, service and food ā„ļøā„ļø

This restaurant is absolutely the best hidden secret. Not only is the food phenomenal but the service is the best. All the servers are so knowledgeable and helpful, they explain everything. Never feel silly or uncomfortable asking. They are friendly and are just the best. We have been going there for over twenty years and wouldn't go to Orlando without going at least twice. I can name all the servers Tina, Polly, Christy, Megan, Kim, Lily and Angie. We love them all. The bartender Kevin, is a pro and makes delicious cocktails. Simone the manager needs recognition too. Our thanks to all at Kimonos. You will continue to see us whenever we are in Orlando.

My fiance and I travel a lot- we also frequent many restaurants...one thing we like to do is write EXCELLENT reviews and I will tell you the service at Kimonos was like no other! This restaurant is cozy and POPULAR! We first walked by to see what it was like but thought it looked nice, but lets come back once Karoke started. We came back at 9pm and there was a small line, the kind person let us know it would be a wait- the wait got pretty long, he immediately let us know that they could give us a call if we would like. We opted to wait in person since there was some live entertainment. The wait became a little longer as people were done eating but just enjoying the singers and the atmosphere. The person checked on us AGAIN- thanking us for our patience. He was so kind. As we noticed people weren't moving we noticed the staff VERY busy but VERY happy- this is likely a reflection of management and how they are treated. At this point the gentleman comes again, thanks us for being so kind and patient and offers us a refreshment. I was THRILLED that he was so kind. We asked his name and found out he was the general manager= as hard as he was working and as engaged as he was there was no doubt this man was the reason the rest of the staff were so kind! This man is an absolute asset to this restaurant for sure! We would come back to the Swan just to go here again. Oh and the sushi and gyoza was fantastic! <3

All the sushi as well as the wagyu beef appetizer was excellent - the shrimp tempura sushi especially was warm, fresh and delicious. The manager even gave us a 20% off AAA discount which was a really nice bonus!

From the moment you walk in to the staff greeting you with a friendly smile to the delicious food, this place was our go-to while at the Swan and Dolphin resort. All the sushi rolls I had were fantastic and the sashimi tasted as if the fish was just caught. Simone, 5 star for sure, very nice very helpful and always with a smile.

If you are looking for a quiet dinner well this is not the place after 9. other than that .. good prices and excellent food

Been several times before and this visit just as good. Great food, beautifully presented and helpful friendly staff. The additional fun element of the karaoke makes for a different evening. Recommend the beef kebabs, all the rolls and the seaweed salad. Makes a nice change from the usual American menus.

We live in Manhattan so our standards are pretty high, but we also understand resort dining as we had a fabulous meal at Il Mulino previously in the Swan Hotel. We decided on Kimonos because we needed an Asian cuisine fix. Apparently Kimono's was rated top 10 sushi in Orlando - there must only be 10 restaurants and they are #10. Every sushi dish had some sort of mayo based sauce. Their green salad did not even get the miso ginger dressing and not enough of it. Someone has to tell that that vegetarian doesn't mean boring and bland. Their vegetable roll were tasteless and bland. Their gyoza's including six dumplings for a whopping $10.25!!!! robbery! Their udon soup was the best dish, but needed to be twice the size. Lastly, their shrimp tempura looked like a fast food kids meal.Their vegetarian tempura was all green beans with only two small pumpkin pieces and their shrimp had SKEWERS in it - what? (see photo) ! I've never seen skewers in shrimp tempura - what happened to light fluffy tempura with their gorgeous tales sticking out. My kids ate their chicken katsu (3 pieces) also on a skewer which was $12 and included nothing else. The prices here were outrageous and confusing.

From the atmosphere to the service to the quality of the food, Kimonoās is 5-Star experience. We were surprised and delighted with the way their signature sangria was presented: in itās own Toby pitcher with fresh raspberries and citrus. The egg-drop soup was steaming hot and fresh, the tempura fluffy and delicious. Our waitresses were running the show and such professionals. Kimonoās has been around for awhile, but it is excellent and would highly recommend it to anyone in the area, especially if you love Japanese food!!

We came here one evening for drinks, a late night snack and to chill out. It had been recommended to us by our server at Il Mulino Italian restaurant. He had asked us to join him in karaoke. We didnāt join in but came to support and cheer him on. The karaoke and ambiance of the place made it into a fun evening. Being in the Swan, it is a very convenient location for those staying at the Swan and Dolphin.

We had a great meal at this restaurant. The sushi was delicious, and so were the Gyoza dumplings. Also loved the cocktails. We will be back. Thanks for a great family dinner.

Very tasty! We came in at 7:30 on a Sunday night and got right in. The tempura was delicious and my husband made "mmmm" sounds over the sushi, which is a good thing. The place wasn't too big or too bright, and we were quite comfortable and pleased with the experience!

The servers were so nice and attentive, even as we had unexpected people joining our party. They just kept smiling and were very efficient. The cocktail I got was gross. The miso soup tasted weird. But the Alaskan crab roll I had was amazing. It had salmon in top with citrus and the it was the citrus that was like a rainbow in my Mouth. Itās fun to listen to the karaoke, so donāt obviously come here if you want a romantic quiet date night.

We came to kimono for karaoke and sushi. Everything was great. Loved the karaoke company. The sushi rolls were good. The service is great and had a good time. Thanks kimono

Absolutely the best! We love the Alaskan roll. The tuna roll is the best quality tuna. Love Meagan and the entire staff!

Best sushi in town! Karaoke is a bit loud but can be entertaining. So if you want to avoid karaoke be done by 9:30

We visited Kimonos about a week ago for dinner. It wasn't too busy, yet it took quite a while to get the food. All the sushi and sashimi is offered a la carte. There are no combos on the menu, which means dining here is quite pricey. I'm not sure if I would return. It wasn't memorable enough.

After work we decided to do some sushi ad my Co worker hadn't tried it before. She had the tempura and I had the dragon roll and they were excellent!

The atmosphere in this place has a great Japanese feel. Although it looks like it will be noisy, it's not so bad. The sushi wasn't bad, but they didn't have very creative rolls. It felt like any other sushi place so I wouldn't eat here again unless I lived somewhere where good sushi was available. Not a magical experience.

We started early. Kimonos opens at 5:30 and we were first in. It's the only restaurant in the swan that the bar stays open until 1am. The food was fantastic! The fish was so fresh we did lots of sashimi. And the rolls were fantastic! But what makes this place super is the bartenders!! Travis, Kevin, Joshua --loved all three!! Don't let them go! Talented and charming.

I had the edamame, veggie roll, shrimp tempura roll, and chocolate cake. All of it was delicious and very filling. The piece of cake is HUGE!

A friend from Japan took me here 15 years ago saying it was her favorite sushi in America. I've been going once or twice a year since. Fantastic sushi! Not cheap.

Best sushi and Japanese. Great menu and awesome karaoke bar. Kids can sing until 11 pm. Super fun!!!!!

The menu is not long but the sushi is fresh and very good. This restaurant does not take reservations and is located in the Walt Disney World Swan Hotel, a Sheraton hotel. It is a nice place and not as expensive as other restaurants in the hotel. It has karaoke which is fun. We had a good time.

We attended a post conference dinner here at KIMONOS. The food and service was amazing. Our server took the time to explain the menu and made very good suggestions for the table. Recommend asking the server for a variety selection boat. also, try the Japanese whiskey selection.

I was surprised by how good the sushi was. The saba was absolutely perfect. The service was also fantastic. Highly recommend.

One of the restaurants in Disney Swan&Dolphin. Quality food with nice ambiance. If you like Japanese you should try.

Delicious sushi!! The Kimono roll and the Dragon roll were recommended and for good reason- they were fabulous!! I would definitely recommend and would go back again!

The atmosphere was great ..wife's first time trying sushi and she love all of it...we ordered the Shrimp roll, Shrimp tempura, and California roll...all perfect....our waitress Juni..say my wife "Birthday badge" and on her own brought out a piece with a candle and very quietly sang her happy birthday! ...Love this place!

Loved the sushi here. It was amazing, especially when you compare to the terrible hotel food all week. The cocktail was decent too. Need to try the mochi ice cream- yummy!

Great sushi and tempura. Very accommodating for groups with children--they clearly know their clientele.

Loved this restaurant at the WDW Swan. It was open until midnight and had a variety of sushi options including tempora. We loved the alaskan roll and enjoyed the fun of the karoake . Will definitely return.

Great sushi, authentic in feel. Priced high, but so is most everything in the vicinity. Definitely a good relaxed dining experience that attempts to maintain traditional low table Japanese style restaurants.

Very good sushi and saki. Freindly service that does not rush you through your dinner. The bartenders are very friendly and are willing to explain the cocktails.

This was such a delightful find! We wandered through Disney's Boardwalk but couldn't get a table for our party of 6 so we decided to check out some of the resort restaurants. Kimonos is within the Swan & Dolphin Hotel but it definitely didn't have that "hotel restaurant" vibe that we all know so well. This place serves excellent sushi, nigiri, and sashimi. The avocado roll and jalapeno roll were outstanding! Good sake, too! Would go back!

Really fun atmosphere - I go every time I'm in Orlando, and I don't do karaoke anywhere else. The hostess was really talented when she sang, and really friendly when the rest of us sang. (TIP YOUR KARAOKE HOST.) The sushi was good, although the vegetable roll I had had lettuce instead of rice, which made it very healthy, almost like a salad, but I wish I had known in advance. Waitress was friendly and the drinks were good, and some were unusual and creative. (This is a problem with many karaoke places but the book with all the songs was a mess. The most annoying part was if you wanted to sing a Billy Joel song you had to look it up under "Billy" and "Joel" and sometimes even the name of the song. Can't someone put all that on an iPad so you can search, and they can update it easily, and you can press a button to send your request to the hostess? But again, that's not a problem unique to Kimono's.)

Sushi was good but the service was not that good. It took almost an hour to get what we ordered. Our server refused to give us the AAA/CAA discount but didn't forget to ask for tips.

My son and daughter-in-law invited my wife and I to join them one evening after visiting Epcot (we are locals). He told us that our grandsons both participated in singing Karioke. We're talking 6 and 8 year-olds, and shy. Found out my son can sing too. I had nothing to lose, so I even gave it a try. The food and drinks were outstanding, and the service was impeccable. Highly recommend a visit by visitors and locals alike.

We had a great experience at the restaurant thanks to the excellent and attentive service from the staff. The karaoke was enjoyable and with great sing along and participation from everyone. However the sushi was just average and nothing to write home about.

We went to this restaurant with a large group ages ranging from 5 to 71 years old! The sushi rolls were absolutely delicious and we ordered what our server recommended. The kids menu was not much but the fried chicken on a stick was the best ā chicken nuggetsā I have ever eaten. They have Karaoke every night from 9:30 pm on and this was very entertaining. Kids can sing until 11 pm then adults only. Very fun night!!!

Came here during our stay at the Dolphin. The sushi is decent for Orlando. Im sort of a sushi snob being from California and working at a top tier sushi restaurant. A little pricey, but that is to be expected for sushi, and being inside a disney world resort hotel. Good service, ambiance, etc. Go here if you're sick of pizza, burgers, etc. during your stay. Had some tempura udon (was feeling a cold coming), and some rolls.

The food at Kimonos is very good as is most Disney World restaurants. However, we just couldn't handle the Karaoke at the end of a long day at the parks.

Do know there was other food in boardwalk area but as not feel 100%, want something Asian lol.. In fact, went there twice during my short stay at Dolphin resort, as short walk across. Ordered the miso soup, some sushi and sashimi... And tea... Yummy, the food was really delicious (though the price is typical of a resort...) Nice ambience and food. On the 2nd time there, stay awhile for the karaoke... Did not have guts to sing though I have beer then lol... Cheers to those who did..

Really enjoyed this place. The range and choice of food was superb. Lovely service and attention to detail. Thank you!

So I walked in and got a seat at the bar. Nice atmosphere to the place...not too big or small. Friendly efficient bar tender. Ordered cold sake and was great...menu had quite a few options so i ordered a couple of dishes. Food arrived promptly and was nicely presented. Tasted good and good portion size. Bill was fair for the overall meal...would definitely go again!

This is one of my favorite sushi restaurants in the Disney area. The women working in the restaurant are so on-point. They know the menu, the drinks, and anticipate your needs. Because it is a Disney property, I worry less about eating the sushi than I would at a no-name place. The sushi is also quite good. The seaweed salad is big. The squid sashimi is served nicely in a hollowed cucumber. The surf clam and octopus sashimi are always good. The rolls are large and tasty. The hot sake is standard sized, but not overpriced as I would expect from a Disney property. They do karaoke every night, and it is entertaining, even though we have only done it 1 time. It's a fun, happy atmosphere. The restaurant accepts Tables in Wonderland (20% discount on food and alcohol) which is the #1 reason why we keep coming back. It adds that additional value to make the Disney prices more manageable. We've been here at least 6 times and have brought friends. We go at least once per month nowadays, and will continue to.

If you are traveling in the area for work, I highly recommend this restaurant for supper. It is a little quieter than the other restaurants on property. Food and service was great!

We went there twice for dinner during our week stay in the Disney Dolphin hotel. The food was excellent, but even better was our server, Meagan. She was fantastic, and made our dining experience memorable. This was my daughter's pick to return to on our last evening at Disney. We look forward to returning next visit and hope that Meagan is still there. Wonderful time!

I enjoyed my meal at Kimonos. The restaurant is very nice and not overly big and the service was excellent. We tried the vegetable shrimp tempura and 2 types of rolls and were not disappointed with any of the dishes. If you use valet parking make sure you keep your receipt from the restaurant otherwise the hotel will want to charge you close to $30 to park there. I didn't keep my receipt but went back to the restaurant and they validated my parking so I had something to show valet. If you're into sushi it's a nice place to grab a meal

Excellent Service and food, The sushi is pretty good one of the best in Orlando, the raspberry/sake Sangria outstanding, the 8000 generation GL splendid. also the Vanilla creme brƻlƩe superb. Thank you our server Meagan exceptional.

Awesome. The food is really a pleasure, the servers are super polite and it has a great atmosphere. Try as many options of sushi as you can take. No matter if you arrive late, they will be happy to receive you . A big difference with Il Mulino, at the same hotel, where the hostess just want to go home ASAP. We will be back, definitely.

We love many things about Kimonos. We love that they don't take reservations. We were able to walk up and get a table even though we are were a party of 11. We love the food here. We tried to find a good place to have sushi at Disney and this is the best we have eaten. We were disappointed to find out that they don't do brown rice sushi (as we get everywhere in NYC) but the sushi was delicious. We all started with a salad and then sushi. They have some appetizers and soup but otherwise this is a sushi restaurant. We loved the service at Kimonos. All of the staff was friendly. We also love that you can walk to the restaurant from the Boardwalk as we stay at the Boardwalk Inn often. We will be back.

We were exploring resorts on the Friday before christmas when we started craving sushi and decided to see if there were any tables available at Kimonos. Much to our surprise, they had one open. We've had lots of sushi and this was seriously the best we've ever had. So fresh and flavorful. The presentation was beautiful and the hot green tea was perfect. Service was great and the prices were reasonable for Disney property. We'll happily come back again.

I don't know what more there is to say than the fact that my whole family loves this place. In the past I would have to run over late at night after the parks to pick up a quick order of miso soup and sushi that my kids would request for take out (in addition to us dining in). Leading up to this trip both kids were greatly anticipating eating at Kimonos. The atmosphere and ambience is relaxed and fun. The staff is so friendly and knowledgeable. We were so busy running around the parks on this trip that we couldn't get to Kimonos until our last night on site, but we made up for it by eating dinner, running to Epcot in time to see the fireworks show and then went back to Kimonos for a second meal! The karaoke is always entertaining and the staff member responsible for it who was doing the majority of the singing the night we were there had an incredible voice. While all the food we tried is always good, I would highly recommend getting the dragon roll, our personal favourite. Definitely worth it to make time for Kimonos on your trip.

This is a nice place in the Disney Swan hotel, perfect if you are staying near that area. The food was good, tasty & fresh and you will have a very nice service; best of what we tried the mix tempura and the tuna nigiris, were super super fresh. Tried to make reservations in advances since the dinning area is really small. One thing is that I wouldn't recommend it for families with small kids, since there is nothing in the menu for them and because is a small room, it can get a little to noisy. There is karaoke at some nights so is a nice way to have fun during dinner.

This was the best sushi and sashimi I have ever had. Waitress recommended the dragon roll. Fantastic. If you are staying at the Swan or Dolphin resort this is a must do. Beef tartar to die for, we almost licked the bowl.

A number of years ago we saw that the Kimono restaurant in the Disney Swan was highly rated in the Unofficial Guide to Disney book and in TripAdvisor. We tried it then and the food and service has kept us going back. When you walk into Kimono it's difficult to miss the sushi chefs hard at work making their creations. Draped hanging down on both sides of the restaurant are kimono's of various colors. Why do we keep on coming back? It has great sushi at very reasonable prices (especially for this area) and excellent service. Servers such as Tina have been there for many years and their warm greetings make you feel like family. it is truly a gem in the Epcot resort area.

This restaurant is hands down the best dining experience you could ask for while at Disney World (so much that we went multiple nights). The sushi is amazing, the karaoke is a blast, and the staff makes everything that much better. Our waitress Meagen was clearly amazing at her job and loves what she does. She took amazing care of us and never once failed to give amazing customer service; whether that means our drinks never ran empty, she was helping us with the menu or explaining all the different food items. Christy, Pauly and Angie were also amazing. These girls are clearly an important asset to this restaurant, but also important to ensuring the guests are happy at all times and it shows. Nadia was one of the better karaoke DJ's I've ever experienced, even getting members of our group to get up and sing who never wanted to sing. If you are looking for somewhere to go relax after a day in the park of a day of being in a conference, hands down recommend this place. This has easily become a must every time we visit Disney World.

This is an excellent option for sushi in the Swan / Dolphin complex. Service was fast and friendly. Food was excellent with plenty to choose from if you like sushi (if not you are out of luck!). This was one of our favorite restaurants on our latest visit to Disney.

Ordered Miso soup, tempura platter and 4 rolls to go. Everything was good except for the 2 tempura rolls (Coconut Shrimp Rolls & Shrimp Tempura Roll.) The shrimp inside tasted like it had been cooked earlier because it was extremely rubbery. Stay away from those rolls.

Friendly restaurant - Nice break from the crowds at the parks and Disney restaurants. Did I mention the yummy sushi???

Sushi is a foodie thing for me.. I was not super impressed with the quality of the preparation. It was very generic and no flare. For the money I think the sushi chefs could step it up a little. Service was good even though they were slammed. Seating was decent and easy. Salads were ok.. Seaweed salad was tasty but there really isnt anything to that. So. just a not so blow your socks off experience.

Drinks where special, food was amazing and the service very good. Has nice sitting and bar area. We had different plates and they where all Fresh. GO it is great.

Was super nice to be away from craziness of DS and parks in this quiet and chic restaurants. (Quiet by Disney standards, as loud tourists are everywhere). Beautiful space and great service. Cocktails are top notch. Very solid sushi and apps. Definitely, a return.

Each time we stay at the Swan Kimonos is a must. The sushi is very good and the drinks are well done. Only problem is the service. It very much depends on the waitresses. Some are very good and some are not Disney standard.

We were really hungry on our first night here and didn't know where else to go to eat so decided on Kimonos. This would be our first and last time eating here. Everything is a la carte and expensive. I know Disney is expensive but it's just not worth it for mediocre food. We ordered several different kinds of sushi and chicken katsu. Definitely better tasting elsewhere and we were expecting something better at those prices. The waiter service was great. We were attended to for the most part whenever we needed something and this was when it started to get more busy. With that said, there are much better options available. Walk across the hotel to the Dolphin. They have better selections there and the price you pay will be worth it at least.

If you want to have great sushi, sashimi or small Japanese dishes while you sing and watch others sing, then this is the place for you. The entire experience was fun! And great selection of music tracks to sing to!

My family and I love coming to Kimonos! Especially when being in Disney, it's a great place to escape the large crowds and find a more relaxed atmosphere. The sushi is awesome, service is great. I even come here when just in the Orlando area, not even when staying near Disney! Its great and I would definitely recommend coming here.

My daughter (23 years old) and I checked in after 11pm this was our only choice for late night dining that was not room service and it was a very happy accident! Food and atmosphere were lovely we totally enjoyed our experience. But be prepared for karaoke Y choice

Can't beat Kimonos if you are staying in the Epcot resort area. After a full day, we went for a light supper and ate at the bar. Great sushi and other appetizers and great drinks.

Good tasty food. Iāve had much better sushi, but itās not what this place is. Lovely environment, nice and clean service. Youāll have a good meal here. Not amazing, but still a good meal.

We stopped in for a quick bite and found the service to be excellent. The food and drinks arrived rapidly and the sushi was fresh and delicious. It was Friday night and they had karaoke going on which was entertaining to watch for a little while. Recommend!

Love this place, boyfriend and I always go for dinner and see our favorite waitress Megan. The food and attention are great and karaoke is so much fun.

After a day at WDW park, this is the ticket. Relax in the lovely Kimono restaurant, enjoy the ambiance and great food. Service is excellent and you won't feel rushed here. Nice wine and drink list, a la carte sushi menu. Everything we tried was terrific. It was a Friday night and they were also hosting karaoke later in the evening which was actually really fun with a fun group in the place participating.

Great sushi and karaoke! So much fun after a long day! Great drink and food options. Try the asparagus tempura roll. Yummy

We went to Kimonos for a night cap. The bartender was welcoming and made a great drink during closing time.

Let start with" I'm NOT a seafood fan so sushi is never on my meal plan! My husband loves sushi so I suggested we go, he was hesitant based on above statement.....just a drink and a starter. Well, it was OUTSTANDING!!! We ordered coconut shrimp roll, shrimp Tempura, & California Roll... everything was delicious! I m craving it now!! Also it was my birthday, they saw my Disney bday badgeš& surprised us with a decadent chocolate layered cake... wow! IF YOU ONLY EAT OUT ONE TIME EAT HERE! The food, service& ambiancešš¼šš¼šš¼šš¼šš¼ PS... we forgot to take pics of food & cake b4 eating LOL

We arrived when Kimonos opened at 5:30 pm. We were immediately greeted and seated. Wide range of items on the menu including many sushi selections. We ordered 3 rolls and were very happy with our choices. Good service, quiet atmosphere (until after 9 pm when the karaoke begins) and very good food. If you do not have a reservation for a table service restaurant in WDW this is a great option. We will be back.

Recently stopped by with a group of work colleagues for some drinks and karaoke. We ended up ordering some sushi, and it was surprisingly good.

Great service. Great sushi. Generous drinks. One of the best restaurants we have been to on a Disney property.

Nice simple sushi, and more than you would expect from a theme-park hotel option. Servers were very friendly, and the food was fresh and tasty. Nothing frilly, but solid quality sushi in a friendly atmosphere.

I went for an early dinner with a few people I met at a conference. I really enjoy Japanese food, and was eager to try Kimonos. The prices are high--about 30%-50% higher than comparable Japanese restaurants not on Disney property--but is fresh, nicely prepared and attractively served. Since I don't eat meat or many types of seafood, and am on low carb eating regimen, I ordered a bowl of miso soup, an appetizer of wakame (seaweed) and fresh vegetable sushi in rice paper but no rice. (My bill was over $30.) Others in my party ordered a variety of other items including which they enjoyed. The ambiance was very attractive. (I can't comment on the Karioke because it hadn't started yet during our early dinner (6:30 pm, since there was an evening conference event). This is probably the Swan-Dolphin restaurant I'd recommend most highly for dinner to vegetarians and vegans, as well as omnivores who appreciate Japanese food.

Sushi was excellent. Small place at the Swan, a hidden gem really. Service was great, our server Megan Chen, was amazing and went above and beyond to make we enjoyed our dinning experience. We will definitely go back the next time we are in Orlando.

Came here for a late dinner after a day at EPCOT and really enjoyed ourselves. They have an eclectic drink menu - I opted for the Iwai Japanese whiskey flight and it did not disappoint. They also carry my favorite Japanese whiskey - Coffey Nikka. The sushi was high grade as well - really fresh yellowtail. But the highlight for us was the karaoke, which they offer every night from 9:30 to 11:30 close. The karaoke MC was kind and gracious and would sing duets with guests if they asked her to. The set-up was first-rate as you would expect in a high-end Disney resort, with a good sound system set at the perfect volume (loud enough to hear, not so loud that guests can't carry on conversations), and screens facing the performer and the audience so the performer can face the audience and the audience can read/sing along with the lyrics. And it's Disney so the vibe stays light and fun but the song selection is extensive and not all G-rated. The truth is I had never sang karaoke before but my date encourage me to go up and sing a duet with her and we killed it. I think a star is born. I've got the bug now and moving to the big city to sing in coffee bars. ;)

A bit pricey as you are ordering somewhat al la carte, but probably the best sushi you can find on Disney property. DH and I enjoyed the Dragon roll and DD was happy with her tempura shrimp. A nice place to go for a break from American burger cuisine on vacation. Also, a more adult ambiance and I like watching sports on their TV.

Just wow! We were staying in the Dolphin hotel, but decided to pop by for some sushi and some cocktails after a day of Disney parks and park food. What a find! Staff and food absolutely on point! Literally some of the best sushi Iāve ever had. Serving staff lovely, friendly and made some fantastic recommendations! I wish this place was local to where I live in the UK. Brilliant! Well done all at Kimonos!!

Best on the property for quick bites and drinks. Not cheap but not horribel in price either. Happy Hour is best

I love this place..Fabulous to go and unwind with a martini and sushi after a day at the parks... And if you like Karaoke, they start at 9 and kids can perform until 11:00PM! A bit pricy, but not for good sushi in the area.

The food at Kimonos is some of the best sushi Iāve eaten. Very fresh and artfully prepared. The service is great. Itās a nice break from the parks where table service is quite rushed. Another reviewer commented on the price, and while I donāt disagree that it is not exactly cheap, for the area it still seems like a good value. To me, itās worth it to be waited on professionally, and to have a leisurely second glass of wine without the server trying to push you out the door because the restaurant is waiting to turn your table over to another guest. Somehow they also manage to deliver a grown up experience, while remaining kid friendly. Plus, the food is excellent. Although this is my first review of Kimonos, Iāve eaten there several times and have never been disappointed.

I was impressed by this little place! The sushi wasn't the best but it was very good and they also had some good small plates and appetizers. Servers were very nice. It was very slow to get our check but all in all I'd go here again if I were staying at this hotel.

Great food, and a wonderful staff. Several of the wait staff come and offer their assistance during your meal. You get a main server, but everyone just seems to help each other out. We never waited for anything as the staff was always just feet away from us. Some of the best sushi we have ever had. Worth staying at the Dolphin Resort again, just to come here (it's actually located at the Swan Hotel, but they are connected).

Fish is always fresh and reasonably priced. The atmosphere is relatively quiet, so it's nice to have conversations with those at your table. The wait staff is friendly and very professional. If you don't see something on the menu ask, they have made things for me that are not on menu. They have karaoke but have not been there late enough to partake. I have eaten here many times and plan on returning the next time in town.

Polly is truly the most caring professional in the business! She always goes out of her way to spoil her guests in every way. She made sure that we will never forget our 50th Anniversary celebration with such an amazing personal touch! Kudos for Kimonos!

this restaurant is very clean beautiful and very inviting to come in. worth giving a try. if you love the sushi.

Such a great find on this trip to Disney that I went twice! Once of those times, I saved my appetite all day long at Animal Kingdom so I could come back and eat here. Of course, the 1st time I waited a bit for food, but it's Disney... they're busy! Great and welcoming manager, great service, and the best sushi I've ever had! Shhhhh, don't tell my usual place ;)

We stopped here every night as this is the only venue in the hotel open very late. Fresh sushi. the first night was quiet and relaxing. The 2nd two were much more lively with groups enjoying Karioke. Still ok even though we're not really karioke fans.

Visited several times in the recent weeks. This is always a fun spot. The service is nice and the sushi good. Karaoke starts on the late side, but it is fun. Unfortunately, no more gator bites!

We stayed at the Swan Hotel and happened to see a sign for Kimonos in the lobby area. No reservations but the restaurant was not crowded for a Sunday night. The sake sangria was served in a decent sized small pitcher-like glass and was very refreshing. We ordered egg drop soup, a house salad, and gyoza (dumplings). All were very good. Next, we ordered 4 rolls, tuna, smoked salmon, vegetable, and shrimp tempura. Fresh, tasty, and plenty! I would definitely return!

We ate at Kimonos last night while staying at The Swan. I'm not a big sushi person so I was hesitant. My husband wanted to try it and he ordered 3 different plates and they were all delicious. I would eat here again any time. We sat at the bar and it was comfy and the service was wonderful.

We always try to visit this restaurant when we are at Disney. The sushi is very good. They have an asparagus roll that is so good we have tried to get local sushi places to make it. They are also great about getting kid friendly food from the neighboring restaurant (mac and cheese, chicken nuggets).

They sell an Italian wine of 10 euros for 60 euros. Overpriced and disappointing service because they happen to be slow and forgetful. The hotel has better to offer!

Such great service and food. Rolls were fresh and delicious. Staff is outstanding and friendly. Service is fast and efficient. Great option for Swan and dolphin guests!

This is a super good japanese / sushi restaurant. The servers were mostly from Asia lending an authenticity to the experience. They offered great service. The sushi and rolls were wonderful. Nice drink menu. The Karaoke featured professional singers to participate and fill the voids between patron Karaoke. They were dressed as if they were patrons making it really fun.

No reservations necessary-Tuna was very fresh. Not as good as I have had- but flavor profile very good. Service very nice. Take away is great containers- good

As a karaoke enthusiast I wanted to get out and enjoy some after a day in the parks. While the host and staff were extremely pleasant I was let down by the very limited selection of karaoke and the poor quality. On top of this the volume was so low you couldn't hear yourself sing. Definitely doesn't meet Disney's usual quality of service standards. That said I am also a DJ and would be happy to work for a season to change this.

We ate here last year on our holiday. Absolutely loved it. The food was great & service really quick. Weāll definitely be going back later this year.

The only thing better than the service was the food. Had sushi a la carte, and found the fish fresh and the rice perfectly sticky. Fresh salmon and conch were wonderful. Dragon roll was amazing! Third time here in the last six months and consistently excellent.

This is our second time here and it was fabulous. Awesome food and really attentive service. We had a variety of sushi rolls and all were delicious. A great spot located in Swan hotel. We think itās the best spot for a good meal on the Disney Property.

Used to be ok and it's flipped 180. And I mean in all categories from staff to food to environment. I wouldn't go here anymore .

This restaurant is part of the Disney Swan and Dolphin Hotel complex. It offers a range of sushi options and Karaoke from 930pm every night. The place is never empty from what I can tell. The food is fresh, reasonably priced and the service ppl were reasonably attentive during our visits. I found the food reasonably priced but the drinks very expensive. The Karaoke is an added bonus that adds a layer of fun. Family friendly 930-11pm but no one under 21 can participate after 11pm.

Great Food - but selection (especially Sushi Rolls) was disappointing and quite limited for what I expected.

Kimonos graciously accommodated my large group of 21 diners at the last minute, which was much appreciated. I was hosting a large group of Thai guests, and they offered us a Thai-speaking server, Angie, who was an absolute pro and very kind and jovial. All of the guests were entertained by the karaoke performances, which ranged from young kids having fun to professional singing-level adults belting show tunes. The service was fairly fast considering there were only two sushi chefs making rolls. I echo what another reviewer said about how everything being a la carte means a pricey final bill. We dropped more cash than we wanted to and some of us still left a little hungry. The food itself was good and the fish was high quality sushi grade and very fresh. Like most resort dining, Kimonos is heavy on the pocketbook, but overall we had a really nice time and the service was A++.

The service, ambiance and food was excellent. I would return and recommend it for those staying at the Swan or Dolphin (or any Disney property). The staff was friendly and accommodating.

I was here for a special event, not as a dinner guest. But the event featured an assortment of the restaurant's sushi, and it was delicious. If you are a sushi lover, I recommend this place.

Always a delicious meal! Sushi is fresh and tasty. The prices are comparable to restaurants outside of the Disney area. The waitresses are Amazing! My girlfriend and I visit once a year for the past 7 + years. This year our waitress from last year not only remembered our faces she remembered our names! No reservations are taken and we were still eating so our credit cards were not out. Amazing! Highly recommended

I ordered my sushi roll with rice paper instead of rice. However, when I got back to my room with my order, as I got it to go, it was made with rice. For an establishment in the Disney area, this was very disappointing. Attention to detail is the Disney way, but not this time. The food was good, though.

Kimonos is a good solid Sushi place in an otherwise gastronomic sea of fries and mediocre food - so a place that a lot of the regulars tend to converge towards (which basically says a lot). So yes I would go there again (most likley doing so) - and the food is good and enjoyable.

We went to Kimonos for our anniversary and we had the most amazing experience ever! We had Meagan and she was just so kind and attentive! They even brought out a dessert tray with a personalized card for our anniversary. Highly recommend for everyone!

This place was quiet and simple layout. It also come with a mini stage karaoke ! I have not seen anyone went up to the stage for a song ! When I walk in there are no host to attend you ? The sushi bar chef told us to sit any table we want ? This restaurant is pretty dark inside because all the table and chair are black and the lighting is dime too !! The menu wording are too small to read ? Also confusing too ? We have to tick what we want but not sure one order how many pieces ? We want to ask about the chef specialty choice but the server could not tell us ? The price is reasonable but not cheap !! There are mosquitoes and flies around. We got bitten few time. The sashimi and sushi is good but the tempura is not good as some vegetable was not cook ........ The udon is fine and the Satay Beef is good. Hope the management look into killing those mosquitoes and flies. They should serve green tea free for the guests.

I didn't know what to expect. This was my first visit to a sushi style restaurant. Good selections available, I had tempura style. Great service.

I sampled lots of the different sushi rolls and sashimi and found them all to be delicious. Favorites were the Spicy Rainbow Roll and the Jalapeno Roll. We sat at the sushi bar and the chefs were friendly and happy to accommodate any requests. Highly recommend!!!

We enjoyed a very good meal , Sushi based and then had a very entertaining evening with Dom great Karaoke !

I stayed at the Swan & Dolphin hotel and heard this is a top five sushi place at Orlando. So we decided to give it a try. We were very disappointed. We ordered dragon and spider roll. Both of them are made from fried shrimp. This is the first time that we had spider roll made from fried shrimp. The taste is just very average. The price for each roll or piece looks fine for a restaurant inside a hotel, but the size is small, which make the sushi over priced. We spent almost $80 but actually did not feel full for two people. I would rather go to the steak house or the other Italian restaurant for this price. You may spend even more, but at least you will get a good dinner.

Ever year we have girls weekend! Every year we eat at kimonos at Disneyās Dolphin hotel and its awesome. The price of sushi is right in line with sushi places on the tri-state so I donāt feel like Iām being ripped off since Iām at Disney. The sushi is always fresh and tasty. The wait staff is always friendly. Most of the staff is there for many years. Tina, and the rest of the staff talk to you even if your not at their station. We had such a hood time that next year we may need to eat there twice

It was a hot day in Orlando where we needed to lighten up our menu and still satisfy the kids. This spot was perfect. If your in a rush and in beachwear, you can take your food to go, otherwise smart casual fits the bill for sitdown. Enjoy!
First Night Dinner
Kimonos offered excellent service. The food was pretty good. It was a little pricey. The Creme Brulee and Mochi were our favorites. If we had time we would have gone back for dessert only. We stayed for Karaoke. Kids had to leave by a certain time and it became adult only. I think it was 11pm. The atmosphere is very laid back.
