AYCE Chinese buffet

By Shanelle |

For a buffet that’s ~$35 per person on a weekend, I think you get a reasonably clean place with a wide array of options and free parking (which was so nice). My mom and I came here for a relative’s birthday dinner and we were seated in a separate area next to the main room. They have sushi, dim sum, a Mongolian BBQ station, and more. The desserts had a good variety as well, with a chocolate fountain being the crowning jewel. The food was decent and though some was a bit on the cool side, I didn’t have any stomach issues the next day. No tips are expected and there’s a 10% service charge on top of the main price (there’s a discount for senior citizens). Overall, you come here when you’re looking for quantity while minimizing price.

Supposed to be better than it is...

Went after reading about it. It's nothing special. Standard Chinese fare, with a touch of the cheaper sushi options, like California Rolls. Give you a big hint. The almond cookies were stale. That's it.

Good choice of food

Great food good price and choice of food was plenty. refills was kind of hard to get on your drinks but I will defantly return to this place.

Cold crab legs?

By Ben W |

I have been to over 50 different Chinese buffets in multiple countries and this is the first place that serves cold snow crab legs? WTH? It's not like they were left out and they got cold, its on purpose they are set on ice. From my plethora of experience eating crab legs, it's best if they have been steamed bc they seem to crack better than if they are cold. Additional, who likes to eat the main course of their meal cold? Is it just me, but when I think of eating something cold, it's bc it's dessert like ice-cream or cereal. Besides the cold crab legs, the rest of the buffet is nice. The food is warm and multiple items to choose from. Lastly, the servers in the restaurant were on point. They removed my plates when I finished with the last item of it, refilled my drink before it was empty, it's always nice being treated by great servers. Keep up the solid work servers, I noticed it. If you don't mind the crab legs being cold, it's a steal of a deal for crab legs buffet in L.A.

Good for a cheap buffet

By Pujsek |

We went here because we wanted to go for an Asian buffet for our last dinner in the States. For 15$ the food was pretty good and diverse. Sushi was surprisingly OK regarding the price. I especially liked the Mongolian bbq.

Just what you would expect!

By Yoona C |

My friend and I were looking for an all-you-can-eat chinese buffet and stumbled upon here. The food was fresh and clean and tastely as well. It definitely is not high-end but everything was delicious. My friend and I were satisfied with the service and food.

Excellent

Everything was so got. They had what ever you imagine. We've been there a couple of times. It's better and better.

Good price and variety of food

By 998sunnyday |

Ate with the family at this buffet. They serve Asian cuisine of all types. They have a sushi section, salad bar, stir fry station, a grilling station and a desert section. They serve typical fried rice, calamari, samon and chicken dishes. They have various fried foods sush as wings, shrimp and fish The place was remodeled so it looked cleaned and spacious. Service was prompt that piles of used plates are taken away quick. They got a good desert section than most similar buffets. There was a chocolate fountain where you can dip fruit. They had a great selection of ice cream. Overall worth the price and a decent spread

Excellent buffet!

We came across this buffet while staying in Hollywood. Not much to look at but the food for the price was amazing! Seafood, sushi, Chinese, meats, salad, fruit. Fresh and hot! Would defiantly recommend!

Good Seafood and Grill to order meats

By Junior |

We are in LA for holidays and decided to try Kings Buffet. It is all you can eat seafood and other Chinese dishes like fried rice etc. The place is very busy so the food is fresh for sure and tastes good. I only wish they had better and cleaner cutlery. We enjoyed our time and food. We had dinner on Sunday and the price is $21 per person.

All-you-can-eat Standard Chinese Fare

By Evan B |

This is not the best Chinese buffet I've ever visited, but it isn't the worst, either. the place is generally clean & easy to navigate, and the prices for weekday lunch is pretty reasonable (although other times/days are a little pricey). The food is really only so-so, but if you're a vegetarian or pescatarian (like my lunch companion), you can find plenty to eat here. The fish & seafood, especially the baked salmon, were pretty good, and some of the other entrees were somewhat tasty, but the salad and dessert selections were a little limited & not all that good. I recommend visiting on a weekday for lunch (when the prices are lower) and not expecting fine cuisine. If you're happy with average Chinese dishes & want to get filled up, then this would be a good place.

Huge Buffet, Very Clean, Inexpensive.

By Joey C |

We stayed down the block at Hollywood Stars Inn, so this came in handy twice... huge selection of buffet items, even including fresh sushi for only about $14 each person. Loved it!!

Before – a hungry pheasant, After – a “stuffed” King

By Indiana_Jonesse |

After our hike, we stopped in town and saw several eating places including an ice cream parlor with vegan menus (but not for lunch), sushi place (that was not quite open yet, we had to wait another 15 minutes). So we drove farther and found this place. There is ample parking at the back. The place is very big and can sit probably hundred people and the place was packed. For their food, you can come here feeling so hungry and you cannot leave just having one plate of food. There were a lot of choices. There is Mongolian style cooking at the back where you can pick your veg toppings and meat. Next to it was the dessert area, then veering to the left are the seafood, the veggies and more main entrée. The diners were from all cultures and race knowing there will be food for them that they can relate to, noodles, sushi, fish, veggies etc. We left feeling like “stuffed queen”, full and happy. Even vegetarians can get food here.

The Best!

Barf outside restaurant disgusting !

By Dianec C |

Told worker at Restraunt there was barf in front of restaurant someone threw up she did nothing about it ! Never cleaned it So disgusting

Don't think I will come back to this place.

By chele2you |

I wanted a quick bite to eat and said sure, I'll go to a Chinese buffet...I can't say I would go to this place again. I didn't even see the person servicing my table. The food wasn't hot, maybe lukewarm, the taste was average. The kicker was when I had to go to the front to get my bill, because all of the servers were grouped together talking to each other, I couldn't get anyone's attention. As I handed back my credit card receipt with no tip, I heard the cashier say, in a language I speak, that I left no tip, as I was walking towards the door. I walked back and said in the her language that no one had come to my table to service me! People be careful of what you say around customers, they may speak your language!!

Falsely accused of eating and not paying

By SunShine M |

I really don't understand this. This used to be my favorite buffet. Yesterday this lady said I ate there and didn't say pay? I thought you had to pay before you could even sit down and eat? If she says I didn't pay there is a wall of pictures of all the customers who didn't pay, why isn't my picture there? I just don't understand why that lady made up such a weird lie about me unless I guess she's mistaking me for someone else? But if you falsely accuse customers of eating and not paying that's just really not good for business. You're gonna chase your customers away. I was a repeat customer but not anymore. I don't see why I would eat and not pay because I really liked that buffet and always want to come back. I dunno was this lady on a power trip and that's why she lied?

Hidden treasure

By aligirll |

So we have all been to a buffet or two, but I was really impressed with this one. When you walk in the place felt clean and the staff was very friendly. Now let's get to the real thing here, the food. They have such a wide selection. I don't eat seafood or pork items and usually have a hard time finding a variety but they really had many options. The food was presented quite nicely and it tasted great. There were so many things to choose from and then on top of your regular buffet items they have a Mongolian BBQ area where you select what you want and give it to the cook and he cooks it right there for you. Amazing!!!! Then he BBQ any meat that you give him. Next we have the dessert section. Ahh! To many options...... left me trying a few more things than I usually do. Great place to visit while in LA. Don't miss the opportunity to go if you can. You will be happy that you did. I think lunch was like $11.99 and Dinner $15 or somewhere around that price. This is one of the best buffets that I have ever been to and I am a very picky person. Do enjoy when you go . :)

Average dining experience

By Tracey B |

Can eat as much as you want Fair quality foods, good selection Very busy Service was good. Would have liked to have had somewhere to take finished plates rather than leaving piled on table. Would have liked to have a knife, was only given fork The drinks tasted terrible

New format and seating

By Genny D |

We have been going here for a couple of years but were surprised by the new seating and revised "menu". Food is now around the perimeter of the room and more items have been added, including a substantial ice cream bar with about 20 different flavors. More servers are behind the counters so food is replaced faster. The selection is large, from soups to Chinese dishes to sushi. There is also a Mongolian BBQ and a grill which has steak, shrimp, and pork which is prepared while you wait. The desserts look better than they are, with most of the pastries being dry. My suggestion is to use their chocolate fountain to cover the pastries to give them some moisture. All in all a good deal for the price.

Just lovely

By MadSea78 |

Went there for dinner with my partner.. affordable, Clean, tidy and organized. It's a lovely buffet and a live grilled kitchenl! Way better than Buffet@Asian! Fresh fruit and multiple dessert 😀 it was a good choice

Rude staff

By barnett1994 |

Food was alright, wouldn’t rave about it, staff constantly watching every move you do, and when we paid the bill the women stood there and told us that a tip wasn’t added on to the bill and just stood over us expecting one from us and then when we did and she moved she must have gone over talking to her colleagues and they was all staring over at us as if we didn’t give her enough tip when we gave her $10 and deserved nothing as she didn’t do a lot to help only took a drinks order, will never be going back there ! Rude staff

The place is very good and not expensive!

By Tatiana K |

We loved the food! There is a good choice and a lot of it! The place is clean and nice, the service was good. Nice idea - to eat here!

Express meal

By Godo G |

We frequent this place, because, we reside just nearby.traditional chinese food is laden on the buffet table..i usually dig in their salmon with butter, somewhat a little oily, their chowmien, which taste ordinary, but like much their viand with lots of mushrooms, they also have some sushis,a variety of them, crab legs, some green veggies, and soup...Pizza too is added and some fries, which my grandson usually enjoy. There is a new bbq counter which one could choose the meat they would like to be grilled, this new addition is an added attraction..because , this satisfies plenty of bbq lovers. They also have fresh green salads, fruits and sweets. i dont know the names of some but definitely filling.every bite is yummy.their staffs are attentive too to their customers, and i like that.however, i wish they would consider of putting less oil on many of its dishes for health reasons. Nevertheless, i still like it here, am just being careful and choose the food i eat.price is very reasonable too.

Humiliating experience

By jackuk57 |

Been called a liar and thief because their out of date credit card machine doesn't work it's extremely embarrassing. I tried to explain that my card was working that I was from England and it won't work in a old machine. The guy wouldn't listen to me threatened me with the police called me a liar and insisted that his machine worked. He demanded my passport took a photo of me and my driving licence. I found a cash machine and paid them their $19. However the guy who threatened me disappeared and I was told he went home. I wanted him to apologies because of how he spoke to me telling me people like me do this all the time. People like me? Black people? I was willing to leave my £600 phone my professional camera but that wasn't good enough he humiliated me spoke down to me and refuse to apologise!!! The food was bob standard nothing special. I tipped my waiteres $5 because I thought she was very nice.

Good variety for a buffet.

By Tassos_Greece |

We ate nicely. The variety was interesting. The location of the restaurant gives an easy access its parking. What I didn' t like is that the staff started cleaning with vacuum cleaners half an hour before the closing time with their clients having dinner.

fantastic environment with variety of food.

I have been this rest rant since opening , food and setting, building interior has been improved, and price is very I go there once a week, and bring friends too.

Good variety

By iris B |

My husband and I arrived about 4:45 on a Sunday evening and we were seated immediately. Seniors get a 10% discount. There is a good variety of dishes. The food was tasty but nothing was really hot. There was also a good selection of sushi and dim sum. The Mongolian bbq was the way to get hot freshly cooked food. We found service to be good. There's lots of free parking in their parking lot. We enjoyed the experience.

VERY RICH

By carlos muñoz |

We went to eat on a Friday and it was all very good with a specialty of crab legs, it was not real but its size seemed in two versions fried or boiled plus number of dishes to choose with good taste and quite reasonable price

You get your money's worth and more.

By travelmaven_7 |

We decided to try this restaurant on a whim. We were pleasantly surprised. We arrived on a Saturday night around 8:00 PM. No lines, no waiting. We were given a table right away, with a drink order taken upon seating. There are only non-alcoholic beverages, which are $1.79 with unlimited free refills. We went to the buffet right away. I was pleasantly surprised at the amount and variety of all-you -can- eat offerings. There was black pepper shrimp, crab legs, red snapper, salmon, scallops, mussels, etc. You name it, they had it. Additionally, there were lots of Chinese food offerings, as well as french fries and pizza. Dessert was also included with many choices from a variety of cakes, cookies and ice cream. The buffet was $13.99 per adult, and worth every penny. I would highly recommend this buffet, and will certainly go back again and again.

Better than expected

By UGoOli |

My dad wanted our family to dine here for Father's Day so 10 of us did. He said he'd been here before years ago and still remembered how good it was. I'm not one to go to buffet restaurants but I have to admit that I was pleasantly surprised by their food. It was also fairly clean and the staff were friendly. There was a LOT of food to choose from. I started off loading up my plate with Chinese food. I didn't have anymore space when I noticed the Japanese section to my right. I had to go for seconds and loaded up my plate with sashimi and sushi. There was also a pick-your-ingredients noodle station that I just couldn't manage to do because I was already so full. Parking isn't bad. There are a lot of spaces and ample street parking as well. Our wait time was about 15 minutes.

Good varieties but....

By ChueyChang |

This place has all the usual fixings for an Asian/Chinese/seafood buffet. They even have crab legs and sashimi! My family enjoyed it. But please, take my advice and stay away from the oysters. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Bad and Nasty

By Eliezer_Josh |

Definitely my worst experience in Los Angeles, I ended up with diarrhea and vomiting. the food does not maintain temperature and apparently the rotation of food is not something that this place practices. I got food poisoning and had to end my vacation in the worst way. a disgusting place, I DO NOT RECOMMEND IT 🤬🤢😵‍💫🤕😪🤒🤮🥵😭

Rushed out of the restaurant

By felcas86 |

We arrived at the restaurant around 20:45 and they were already taking out most of the food. The staff is not friendly in general. The leftovers available were lukewarm and the food was average (nothing special at all, considering the prices). As if it was not enough, we were rushed out of the restaurant by 21:30. We don’t recommend and will not be coming back .

A Let down

By NTS |

This used to be our go to Chinese buffet but with their worsening quality of food that's why we stopped coming here. Our friend's birthday was coming up and he decided to have here. The food was cold and seemed like they were sitting there for a long time. We've tried the bbq station so we have at least hot food but they burnt it. Their ice cream station is still great but the lady manning it was rude.

All you can eat

By Olya K |

Good all-you-can-eat buffet for reasonable price($17.99/person without tax, drinks are not included).

Fresh and huge variety.

By Valerie D |

We have been coming here since its opening. Super fresh and huge variety. Excellent value! And we love the new Cappuccino machine !!

Be Prepare to Be Stuffed!

By 007Anna |

For under $20 there is so much variety of Asian cuisine! As a seafood lover I wasn't disappointed. The steak is grilled fresh and the food is always hot and refilled just about instantly even the snow crab legs!

If quantity is your thing. By all means go . Quality-not so much .lunch on a thursday and almost everything was cold. Sushi was good if sushi is your thing. Not the best asian buffet in quality.
