The menu is total gem of Thai cuisine taken in direction not normally seen in this region, where Thai good reigns supreme. The indoor space is excellent, with clean lines and furnishings, well maintained, You won’t be disappointed !

We live in Thailand during the year so we know good Thai food. This was not bad, but about average for USA. The owners are from Thailand and are very nice. They were great to the children. It was nice to get some Thai beer there at a reasonable price.

I walked by and visit La Jolla and tried my fav Thai dish Crab Fried rice that So BOMP! such a flavorful also Thai fried rice chicken that my friend ordered if you are fried rice lover , i recommend and I’ll back gonna try another dishes soon.

This is the best Thai restaurant in San Diego. The price is really reasonable, services are extremely good, and the owner is so kind. If you want to join Thai food, dont miss this one.

Just down the street from my son’s new apartment we found this little gem of a restaurant during a visit with him. Though simple in looks and decor the food is anything but simple, full of flavor and spice. We both had the Tom Khar soup that we both found excellent. My son had the Fried Tofu (as he was not to hungry) and I selected the Pad Thai with shrimp. Both were well prepared. My Pad Thai had just the right amount of sauce that did not overwhelm the fresh ingredients of the dish. The ship were plump and sweet. Service was quick and friendly and the server was attentive without being overbearing. Can’t wait to visit King Of Thai on my next visit to San Diego.

Great Neighborhood Thai restaurant ! I can’t even begin to tell you how amazing big my Tom Kai soup was from here. I have had this soup many times, even in Thailand, and this was the best I’ve ever had! I can’t wait to try more dishes here. Great friendly staff too!

After mourning the loss of Spice and Thai, we now finally have a fantastic new Thai restaurant in La Jolla! I drove by on an errand on a foggy cold night and stopped to see what was happening at the same location...I ended up having a cup of light Tom Kha soup, which was the most flavorful I've ever tasted in many countries around the world...You won't be disappointed!

I used to travel to their old location which is about 20 miles away. It is one of the best bbq chickens I’ve ever had. Marinated dark meat with two different sauces and a very generous portion. Almost like a spatchcock cut. I’ve paired it with the pineapple fried rice, chicken larb, fresh spring rolls and the panang and Massaman curry. It’s a cool location if you’re visiting as it’s on the Main Street here in La Jolla which is Girard.

Great place to have dinner group. Great service pretty menu picture. They only give cans of soda, but you can get unlimited iced tea. happy drinks starting at $7.

Tiny restaurant in a strip mall. Online ordering doesn't work when you attempt to complete the order. When you pick up your to-go order, BEWARE of the surprising price increase from what was listed online. When you tell the staff they act surprised but don't adjust the price back. Not only was I overcharged, but they didn't give me any rice with my non-noodle entree. They have ignored the TWO messages I sent through THEIR website. They clearly do NOT care about customer service, honesty in their business practices or return business. While restaurants are struggling to stay in business, King of Thai cheats their customers and ignores their messages.

Great food and ambiance. My fav Crab Rangoon and Red Curry. Great service would go back anytime. Recommended to all my friends.

This Thai place is excellent of foods and ambience service. I love their Drunken noodle shrimp. I can tell their chef’s well experience. We enjoy their sweet rice with mango is the best. Recommended!!

I am a tourist from Thailand and stopped to eat at this Thai restaurant.The food is very delicious, especially the glass noodle salad and chicken Tom-kha soup .which teste just like in Thailand. The staff service is excellent.I recommend this restaurant.
