Great place with a real community vibe

By Melissa F |

Loved our experience at this bar, which has a real community feel and lovely friendly staff. The pizza was delicious, with the freshest juiciest pineapple you could wish for! Highly recommend

Best Place for a good lunch and inexpensive.

By James S |

My brother and I were walking by and noticed they had a spaghetti and pizza special and figured we would try it. The service was great, the food was ample and the price was great. We both enjoyed the out meals and the price was right.

Loved it!

Stopped by while we waited for the train. Started with nachos which were loaded with toppings and real cheese. Wife ate the Chicken Jack Daniel's -- pan fried chicken with a Jack Daniel's Marsalis wine cream sauce that she wants to take home with her. I had personal size pepperoni pizza that had a garlic crust that was terrific. Pizza was a little greasy but that can happen with lots of pepperoni. Great little bar and restaurant that I'd recommend for anyone in the area.

Pizza Good

Went here because there isn't much within walking distance from the Embassy Suites. We went both before our cruise and after. The place could be little cleaner, the prices are high for the pizza but it was good. Happy hour prices are much better.

BBQ Chicken Salad is amazing!

By Katie D |

I just had the best BBQ Chicken Salad of my life. It had the perfect balance of sweetness and BBQ flavor, portion size was massive, the tortilla chips ion the bottom of the salad gave a nice crunch, and the salad was tossed in Ranch Dressing. It was perfect and by far, the best BBQ salad I have ever had. You have to try it, Troy the owner even says it is the best thing on the menu.

I've always had great experience here!

I don't make it to Seattle very much, but when I do this place is a MUST. Service is great, seat yourself and I've never had a problem getting as much food & drink as I wanted. On gamedays you can belly up to the bar for service or hang out at your table. Perfect place to go before and after the games, IMO the best bar & eatery to CLink or Safeco. Always welcomed even though I'm not a regular - and you can tell there are plenty of regulars! Patrons & staff are friendly, even nice to fans from other teams LOL. Pizza is thin and crispy and to die for!

Great place

Walked by on my way to Amtrak station and stepped in for a beer. Found way more! Great atmosphere, friendly staff and beyond yummy Stromboli's. Definitely will go back next time I'm in the neighborhood.

Best Place For a Calzone in Seattle!

By Mike C |

Anytime I’m in Seattle, always have to stop at King Street. Troy (the owner) remembers everyone as if they are family, drinks are cheap, and if you are around for a Sounders or Seahawks game, it’s a great place to go before or after the game. But the real rockstar is the Sicilian Calzone! Seriously, best calzone in Seattle. It really is a great bar.

Dive bar with cheap food

By allendbi |

If you're looking for a dive bar in Pioneer Square, look no further than King Street. It's below street level, and that's fitting. The staff are nice and accommodating and the bar is extensive, but the food is very average. Good news is the prices are pretty cheap.

I was happy at happy hour

By Human44 |

This place offers an excellent stop for a pint and some pub grub before taking an Amtrak train from King Street station. The 'Hoppy B*tch IPA' (that's the beer's actual name) was crisp and hoppy, and the happy hour pizza was very good. The sliders were just ok, so I'd recommend going with their pizzas. Service was quite friendly.

Great place to eat, walking distance to Amtrak Station

By DustinHolmes |

I walked here from the Amtrak Station for lunch. The service was great and everyone was very friendly. The food was excellent and reasonably priced. The restaurant was clean and had a nice atmosphere, lots of Seattle Seahawks memorabilia.

Yuk, run and don't look back

By Leanne H |

We started off with some random dude standing right in front of the entrance smoking a cigarette and asking to see ID's. Um... have you heard of the 25 feet away from the entrance rule? Then we sat at a very sticky table in a very hot room. The waitress came and got our drink order and brought us 3 warm beers from the tap. We ordered food and only 1 out of 3 orders were correct. We complained and got a "gee, I'm sorry" from the waitress. Never again. Horrible place.

this place has really gone downhill

By KweqSmanit |

this place has really gone downhill in my opinion.staff are slow and unfriendly and uncaring, bathrooms are dirty and uncared for, management does not have their best staff for a busy gameday prepared, staff is overwhelmed and as well doesn't seem to understand we have other places we could go.

Disappointing

By Becky C |

WE ate lunch here after getting off a very long Amtrak trip. Once the waitress found out we were only drinking water she got a little snippy. Waited long time for our food. Hamburger and grilled cheese were average to good. Chicken alfredo was very good. I had beer batter cod. It smelled great, you know that beer batter smell. But inside it was flat and tasted like a fish stick Yuk, not what I was expecting.

Great food

By Kim M |

We went in for late lunch, early dinner upon arrival at the hotel. The food was very good. Nice laid back atmosphere. So much so, we went back the next day too. The first afternoon we had burgers. The potatoe salad was fantastic. The next day we had calzones. Oh my word. Great flavor and these things are huge. Easily can share one. We would recommend this place and will surely visit again if ever in the area.

Just okay ...

Had dinner here and chose the pizza after reading the reviews. Service was good and quick, pizza was just ok, not great. Typical old bar atmosphere is a marginal part of town. Lots of great food choices in Seattle. You won't go hungry here, but better choices elsewhere.

Large Portions!

By Cathy R |

Met a group of former co-workers for lunch. While the service was a bit on the slow side and we had a group of 8, they made up for it in tasty food and large portions. There were 4-5 of us that took 1/2 of their lunch back to enjoy later. Prices were pretty reasonable.

Great pizza & beer

By JamesSkinner |

Excellent pizzas and Philly cheese steak. Huge pizzas with great dough and toppings. Good selection of local beers. Friendly service. Spot on.

Great tasting pizzas and calzones!

My wife and I have eaten here several times and will keep returning when we want a delicious pizza or calzone. I have also ordered take out from here in case I needed to watch a Seahawk game or just staying at the King Street Bar and Oven to watch it there!

Best Calzones near Pioneer Square

By johnehr |

Cheap beer and good eats makes this place one of my favorite places for lunch during work hours. If you order a calzone (I suggest the Sicilian or King St calzone) drop the extra $.75 for the side of marinara sauce.

Wonderful food

We were very pleased with the quality of food served in the restaurant. I had a salmon sandwich and my husband had a hamburger. Both were excellent. Our waitress was friendly.

Great Food and Staff!

Delicious pizza and calzones! The portions are huge but oh so good! What a great little place - I'm so glad we stumbled on it for dinner last night!

Great Service, good food, bad drinks

By John379 |

We stopped for a quick bite and a couple of drinks. We had a good calzone, the dough was very good. The service was excellent, one person tending bar and delivering the food. The drinks were another story, we ordered a couple of margaritas, not good, so I ordered a tequila and OJ or Pineapple juice which ever they had, both were in the little cans. Also not good, but I guess it was more of a beer and shot place.

second visit and worth it, nachos so yummy

By CSS9112014 |

We came for a cruise a few days early. We have been here before and was very happy to find out still have good food and excellent service. We dashed in here as it was raining. We were going to try somewhere different but glad we didnt. You can have beer by the pitcher.

Sandwiches are awesome

By CSS9112014 |

We wandered in for lunch and was so glad we did. Food was delicious and super service. I would have went back if we had time as there were lots of choices for food and drink.

Dive Bar

By cmonroy |

Maybe it was because I came at an off hour for food, but it took 40 minutes for two sandwiches. The fries were both burnt and undercooked. They were so hard that they must have been sitting there for a while. I could have had a better fish sandwich at McDonalds. It does deliver very well at being a diver bar with multiple TVs playing sports.

Good food......

By BBlkburn |

Service was slow only because the two waitresses had to cover the packed lunch rush. Food is always good. Wait staff are fantastic.

tasty food, and cold beer, standing room only on game days

By KweqSmanit |

Really good tasty pizza and calzones, cold beer with a surprisingly decent bar specials sometimes, tvs will be showing all the games inside, and there are limited seating opportunities outside as well. It is STANDING ROOM ONLY CROWDED before, during, and after 'Hawks games (right across the parking lot from Quest) so it is a good hang out place afterwards to watch the night game.I gave it 5 stars for "atmosphere" because if you're a football fan you'll love it after a win. I mean Largent's jersey is on the wall !

High value Happy Hour

By mshbnyehud |

Went here based on prior TA reviews and Happy Hour offerings. Place was very accessible, with lots of HDTVs displaying local sports. Substantial, very good priced Happy Hour food offerings, including Chicken Quesadia (very tasty and substantial) and guacamole with chips. Cheap basic beer as well, certainly as compared to nearby competitors. Located just a 5 minute walk to the left field entrance to T-Mobile Park. Happy Hour is the time to go for greatest value.

Not just any bar food

By Latarsha J |

Its a nice dive bar vibe. Enjoyed the locals and food was fresh and perfectly fixed! They have local beers on tap a great selection of food and its located within walking distance of the hotel
