Klow: A balanced gem in the heart of Miami

By Jose C |

It is difficult to summarize such an exceptional experience. I have tried many restaurants in Miami, but Klow stands out above all. The Mood has a cheerful but balanced energy, ideal for enjoying and talking quietly. We were on the rooftop, and it was a wonderful experience. The attention was first rate. Braulio and, apparently, the manager, attended us with admirable warmth and professionalism. The food, fresh and full of genuine flavors. They even prepared a special drink for my wife, off the menu. Klow is one of those places you want to return to time and again, and it is enthusiastically recommended. A real treasure in Miami.

Enchantment on the Bay

By citizen0103 |

I really wanted to give Klaw five stars. My husband took me there for my birthday and what an amazing place. It is beautiful, swanky, off the beaten path, and everything Miami. You exit the elevator into a beautiful dinning room. We were there early and got a window seat with views out to Biscayne Bay. Our waitress Hailey was professional, well-trained, sweet, and delightful. All the servers were top-notch and on point. We had Cava and wine, which were both amazing. We had 3 appetizers which were great. I had the Nigerian prawn, which was something special. I have never seen a prawn that large and never tasted one that delicious. We ordered the grilled mushrooms and the grilled green beans. We rarely eat vegetables with such delight. Dessert was the flourless chocolate cake, another star. Not too much and not too sweet! Why 4 stars? My husband ordered the chicken which he had tried before and really Loved. But this time it was way too salty. Stephan the Manager did everything to help him order the right steak and his efforts were noted and appreciated. They really tried to make it right. He eventually ordered a steak and the truffle fries, which were Good, but just a little much by that point. We would definitely go back!

Do not waste your money or time

By Isabel N |

Horrible unedible food. The bill was $2,500 but no one was able to eat their meals. Steaks were the lowest quality we have ever been served ever. Full of ligaments and fat all over. The small parts not full of ligaments were super undercooked and tough as leather. Will never go here again.

Overpriced and meh

By LELIA A |

Do not waste your money!! Apps weren’t that good, neither was the steak. And we said it was a special occasion which they ignored. The upstairs was a great spot w super nice bartender service. Even tho the menu a lot more limited we should have just gone there.

Barely Average

By welligrl |

Cute venue, great view. The thumping electronic music and high ceilings made it nearly impossible to hear each other. Hostess was a doll. Drinks were mediocre at best. Grouper appetizer was interesting; “heritage” rib eye was inedible and we needed to return it to the kitchen. They replaced it w/Chateaubriand which was pretty good. Mushrooms were excellent; roasted green beans were good. Carrot cake was strange with bits of crystallized ginger and it was topped with a foam that was called ice cream but wasn’t. Overall a disappointing and expensive mistake.

Biggest rip-off in Miami

By PCWorldTraveler |

Attended A dinner party of 12 here. We sat down at 9:30pm. Finally got our appetizers at 10:30pm. By 11:30pm, still no entrees. I complained to the manager-who rudely explained that our appetizers were just cleared, as if we were the problem for eating late. Steaks, crab claws and sides were exorbitantly priced but we were told everything was shareable. That was not the case - the claws and some steaks we could eat alone, and the sides couldn’t feed half a person. The only positive was that the steaks were good. Dinner came to $230 a person and I left hungry. Not a good start for a new restaurant in a nice location!

Good food, but very cold

By roqo |

We went to dinner in Couple. The service was quite good although they took a while to take command. The food was great. Maybe a little expensive for quality. What was tremendous is how cold it was in the restaurant. The HVAC was so high.

THE KOBE BEEF RIBEYE IS $38.00 AN OUNCE DO NOT ORDER!!

By dojakada |

My husband and I wanted a beautiful experience for our first trip to Miami! Went to the rooftop Klaw Beautiful setting! HOWEVER I ordered the Kobe Ribeye, which I thought I was paying $38 for!! But it was $38.00 in bold print on the menu and in small faded print it said by the ounce. YES we ended up paying $228,00 for a COLD FATTY PIECE OF MEAT! OF WHICH I ONLY ATE TWO STRIPS PULLING THE FATTY PIECES OUT OF MY MOUTH! My husband had the fillet for $75 and enjoyed every bite! We called to get a copy of the receipt, which the PR girl didn’t seem surprised for us to ask for, and they had also added SERVICE FEE ON THE BILL FOR 2 people $96.40 then hands you the pad to give another tip! Plus my husband always likes to give the hardworking servers some cash. Our bill for 2 people was OVER $641.00 😡. DO NOT GO! PARKING WAS A NIGHTMARE ON TOP OF IT!!

A disappointing evening at an overly expensive restaurant.

By EASyRiders1302 |

Our first visit to this restaurant was a delightful experience. While the service remained impeccable, something wrong has happened to the kitchen. Meat cuts were served cold. Starters as well as side dishes were mediocre at best. Restaurant was half empty, which may well be an indication of the public’s dismay. Altogether, a grave disappointment.

Divine dining experience

By Angel G |

We had an amazing dining experience in this fantastic restaurant. We managed to book a table on the rooftop. The ambiance is excellent, the drink are expertly mixed and savory, and all the dishes are quite tasteful. We practically ran down the entire menu, ☺️.

Meat meat and meat!

By spanglishhh |

WOW! Klaw is not the kind of restaurant I'd go to frequently just because it is not cheap.. Miami became really pricey - so I decided to try Klaw for the first time for Miami Spice. And it gave me a glimpse of what Klaw is about! Our waiter (I cannot remember his name, he is from Georgia!) was amazing and on top of everything, plus super knowledgeable. The ambiance is kind of formal but lively. Food was just perfect, even the Miami Spice menu, but I want to go back to try more meat cuts.

Not a great experience

By Kerri D |

Was very excited about this venue. Yet dinner was disappointing. 1. Ordered drinks: Martini straight up with lemon, no lemon 2. Whiskey sour up: served on the rocks 3. Steaks- ordered medium, delivered medium rare. Told them do not slice both steaks. Both came sliced. 4. No compensation, no sorry, just business as usual and they added 20%tip. Which we paid. 5. Considered a 30 person dinner on rooftop for Daughters wedding in March but nixed that. Overall service not worth it.

Good top class restaurant - best in Miami

By Nick_the_Hat |

Great service good food nice place! Delighted to find this quality in Miami. We both had the lobster (choice of three ways) preceded by steak tatsiki and scallops. Lobster was divine - the grilled version not overdone with trimmings - not too salty and deliciously flavoured with butter . The baked one very tasty too with cheesy topping. The sweet potato (enormous Caribbean style) with butter and cheese- delicious too, and grilled asparagus with cheese sprinkle as well. My wife thought the vegetables a little salty - but that is American style I think. Anyway - very tasty meal. Surroundings in the 4th floor dining room are delightful: great atmosphere, colonial style dark wood and table lights provide a romantic atmosphere. Best of all a the service was truly impeccable - Christian our server was knowledgeable on everything culinary, and the sommelier Daryl was helpfulness personified. This is the standard of cuisine I love. We are going back sometime soon for the steak experience - the turf rather than the surf that we chose this time. At 650 it is not cheap but it matches the quality. Which is what counts. Thank you Klaw Just the job - see you again soon

Good food. Expected better service!

By Bailey |

My partner and I came here for our fifth anniversary dinner. It did not start out great considering we arrived on time for our reservation but we’re seated about 15 minutes later than expected as the table wasn’t ready yet. We loved the cocktails and bone-in steak. The fries are actually thick-cut potato wedges and didn’t eat those. The crudo was good as well. The real issue was the service, as our waitress was very attentive at first, but as soon as a large party arrived after us, they seemed to gain her full attention, and we were completely ignored for the remainder of our time. We had to ask two separate members of staff three different times to please just give us the check so we could leave. I expect better service on a check of $350+ so I won’t be coming back here.

Great cocktails, wines and food

Klaw never disappoints! Been going there since it opened. Always incredible food and the service top notch. Walter is always so friendly, knowledgeable and very helpful. Recommended to many of my friends !

Smaller Crab leg in the world

By Chef Ujaque |

It's not a good option. Everything tastes like lemon. We ordered Alaskan crab legs and in the cheapest supermarkets you can get better quality. Impossible skinnier. We returned it without testing it. The manager came to the table and tried to explain something basically impossible. That there were many legs because they were skinny. Do not play!!! 👎🏼 I now understand why the site is empty.

Recomendable

By Antonio M |

Excellent food Gabriela's service was the best We started with a caviar and a king crab to finish with two wagyu cuts, my wife ordered the Japanese A5 and I an American The only bad thing was the very rude Enio sommelier

Beautiful establishment unmanicured service to match environment.

By Viv A |

Disappointed with service Either they didn’t have items or forgot to bring them to table. The waiter was great but only after management stepped in.

Awful experience !!!!

By Aylin R |

I wanted to share our unfortunate experience tonight at your restaurant. Despite arriving on time, we waited 1.5 hours without receiving any food. The manager and the waitress were disorganized and did not follow our order. After 1 hour and 45 minutes of waiting, we left the restaurant without eating at 9:30 PM. It was a deeply disappointing and unacceptable experience. I hope this feedback helps others be aware of the awful service.

Go for the main dining room, the rooftop MENU is not worth the fuss…

By Eddel |

This place’s best feature is its view, even in Miami is hard to match a view like Klaw’s, so that might say something about the price tag. Firstly, when I booked, there were various seating options, and not quite knowing what each option consisted of, made it a bit confusing. I did book for the main dining room but later on my booking was moved to the rooftop, to which I paid no attention. When we showed up, we were taken to the rooftop and only offered the lounge menu, which was not what we were aiming for since we were eager to try Klaw as a steakhouse. I asked for the steakhouse menu but was provided with countless “reasons” for it not being available. The menu, although having a couple of steak options and not being what we had in mind, felt disappointing: bits and pieces of seafood, salads, and other assorted, unmemorable small bites. We had some oysters, prawns, and greens salad as starters (fresh, tasty, and beautifully presented), and then went for the steak and steak tacos, which unfortunately have to say that neither felt prime quality. For dessert we had the dulce de leche cheesecake, which was perfect in flavor and portion size. The service, however polite, professional, and knowledgeable, did also feel pretentious and judgmental, not allowing for a fully comfortable experience, like staff always having the politest you’re-wrong-we’re-right response to whatever the complaint, including the aforementioned steak quality and the steakhouse menu request. Finally, as probably everywhere in touristy Miami, a 20% service surcharge was added to the check, something I’m no fan of at all. Would I recommend Klaw??? Definitely, but be sure to aim for the steakhouse menu, which seems to be available at the main dining room only.

Klaw Continues to Impress

By WINEandTRAVEL |

When I saw that Klaw was organizing a small wine dinner featuring the wines of Tua Rita, I knew I had to attend. Tua Rita is a very small producer of exceptional wines in Tuscany, Italy. Their Redigaffi...100% Merlot... is their most famous offering, widely regarded as one of the world's greatest and most sought-after wines. One of my absolute favorite producers was coming to do an intimate dinner for just eight people at one of my favorite restaurants... this is exactly the kind of experience that sets Klaw apart. I was happy to meet Giovanni Frascolla, the third-generation owner of Tua Rita, as well as Alberto Prealoni, the importer of their wines. I'm very thankful to them for organizing such a special evening along with sommelier Dylan Robinson. The dinner was held in the Tuttle Room, just off the main dining room. Everything about Klaw is impressive--the historic building, the waterfront location, the ambiance, the service, the wine list, and of course, the food. Everything came together perfectly for what turned out to be an extraordinary evening. We began with an amuse-bouche: a small Puff Pastry filled with Salmon and topped with Caviar. This delicate starter paired beautifully with the well-balanced 2024 Perlato del Bosco Vermentino... good fruit, love the minerality. The first course was Dorade Crudo, fresh, light, and elegant--a dish that alone showcases the kitchen's talent. The highlight for me was the Morel Mushroom Risotto, paired with the 2023 Redigaffi. The risotto was perfectly earthy and rich, and the Redigaffi--silky, deep, and luxurious. Each amazing on it's own, together just amazing. The wine is young. Hard to resist now, but it will only improve with age. Next came Steaks, featuring two different cuts, accompanied by Potato Pavé and Asparagus. With two steaks, it was fitting to serve two reds: the 2024 Rosso di Notri and 2023 Giusto di Notri. Both were full-bodied and delightful, each with its own character. While they may not possess the finesse of the Redigaffi, they are excellent in their own right. For dessert, we enjoyed a small Flourless Chocolate Cake with Grand Marnier Ice Cream. Since Tua Rita doesn't produce sweet wines, Alberto selected the 2019 Colosi Passito Terre Siciliane, a Sicilian dessert wine from his portfolio, made from 100% Moscato Bianco grapes--delicious and a perfect finish to the evening. Great service enhanced the evening. Our every need was attended to by our fantastic server, Lia... and Klaw's sommelier Dylan. Check out the photos, which I think capture the brilliance of the food we enjoyed. The wines speak for themselves... and Klaw is a treasure that we are lucky to have here in Florida. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED - VERY SPECIAL

Arrived for Happy Hour at the 6th floor Rooftop. Our server gave us a detailed description of the Happy Hour menu. The food was delicious. Great views, amazing ambiance and staff that is super attentive. We had a great evening. Thank you.

Amazing

By Carrera-Scott |

Klaw Miami is pure class, the kind of place that pulls you in with its dark, seductive vibe and keeps you hooked with every bite. The steak tartare was silky and full of depth, the kind that makes you slow down and savor it. The chop salad? Easily one of the best I've ever had--crisp, fresh, and somehow way more exciting than just a salad should be. Then came the chateaubriand, perfectly cooked and paired with the rich, almost addictive 2 sauces. The golden sweet potato on the side was ridiculously good, a perfect contrast to the steak. Every single thing on the table was executed at the highest level. The service was seamless, never intrusive but always there when you needed it. This place just gets it right. If you're looking for an elevated, unforgettable dining experience in Miami, Klaw is a must.

Culinary extravaganza !!!

By William Smiles Wilson III |

Truly a Miami culinary attraction !!! Visit rooftop bar to pick your Norwegian King crab, have it brought “live” to your table, and then it is prepared table side. Service was impeccable, appetizer, entree, dessert & wine collection extraordinaire. Sommelier “Ennio Ciminelli” is the individual that you need to see…

Fantastic and Fun Restaurant in the Bay!

By BMishra |

Exceptional food quality, fun ambience, lovely views, and great service. The crab legs are not to be missed. The wine list is reasonable (we had a very good $65 alabrino). We arrived a little early and tried some of the happy hour bites - some of the best deviled eggs I’ve had and the crab grougeres were amazing!

Nice

By Jessica Lins N |

My experience was great, the service at the restaurant was amazing, profesional, the server was educated and super attentive, he was taking care about small details, everything clean, the price is hight, but it worths for it, at least for us. We went to the roof bar also, bartenders and all staff were great. We enjoy my birthday 🎂 🥳

Great stakes and Crab legs - Prices are high

By carlosdieppa |

Steaks are amazing as are the claws, ambience and the view in the place are also outstanding. Had to be careful so the check did not spiral out of control, challenge is the portions are nos really shareable and the prices are all high.

Klaw is Fantastic!

By WINEandTRAVEL |

Quite simply, one of the top restaurants in Miami. The quality of their products, the execution of the kitchen, the impeccable service, the beautiful ambiance, the attention to detail, all contributes to a fantastic dining experience. I was my first visit here, as a participant in a wine dinner. I was able to try a number of their specialties. As their name suggests, Crab is a feature. I have a love of King Crab, but they don't use Alaskan King Crab... they feature Norwegian King Crab. I've never had it before but I'm now a fan. The legs are smaller, but there's plenty of solid meat... the taste is fantastic, a bit more delicate than King Crab. Loved it! The 20 oz. Chateaubriand was one of the best steaks I've had in a long time. Perfectly cooked, amazing flavor on it's own, served with a fantastic Truffle Sauce and Peppercorn Sauce that I used sparingly, but they were so good it was hard to resist. The Dayboat Swordfish was excellent, but I just had a taste, preferring to remain focused on the Filet. Sides of Charred Baby Bok Choy and Roasted Wild Mushrooms were perfect accompaniments. To start, we enjoyed the Klaw Green Salad, Black Grouper Ceviche and the Stracciatella served with fantastic heirloom tomatoes. We finished with a sampler of desserts, of course excellent. Some may question the pricing here, but I believe it's fair considering the high costs of what they are providing. One look at the photos and you'll be hooked. Klaw is a gem that's not to be missed. VERY HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Highlight of our stay.

By Navigator46595349181 |

We usually save the last night in town for a new and exciting experience. Claw didn’t disappoint. Actually, it was a very good choice. Delicious meats, seafood, and accompaniments. A memorable meal. Don’t miss it!

Terrible Racially Profiling Restaurant Manager

By Dr. Tyrone K. Grandison |

Food was overall very good, as well as the kindness of the waiters, waitress and bussers. The ambiance and esthetic of the establishment is also beautiful and peaceful overlooking one of the nicest aspects of Biscayne Bay. The ultimate problem and disgust that absolutely ruined the experience is with the restaurant manager Valerie Pizarro. Her tone and verbiage towards the "guests" who attempt to provide feedback on their service was honestly the worst I have experienced in any country or establishment here in Miami. She treated our table in a very disrespectful and inattentive manner while nearly subtly racially profiling the guest ability to pay for their food due to addressing a service discrepancy. I stopped by with family and friends to host a brunch to celebrate my birthday. My food as well as the guest sitting next to me did not come out w. the meals of the rest of the group. We waited an additional 30-40 minutes for our food to come out after the group was already done eating. After the meal when the bill came, the restaurant made NO initial effort to address, acknowledge, or right their wrong in affecting our experience and we kindly addressed this issue with the server and asked for a full or partial adjustment for the 2 items that came out very late (and still not correct) - due to the fact that the items that came out well after everyone was done eating were still on the bill and clearly forgotten in the order. The waiter returned and kindly shared they would offer a complementary desert rather than add an adjustment to for the items that came out obscenely late. I asked to speak the manager, where Valerie appeared completely disengaged and unwilling to listen to our experience before we even expressed our issue as she had her mind made up. She stated "I'll take off a desert and nothing else" We shared that we are happy to pay for our desert as it came out on time along side the other desert orders and her next response was "I take off what I want and you pay for everything else" I noticed she was not receptive to the experience of her patrons and attempted to share feedback and let her know that the principal was not about the money, but more so the dining experience & the fact that as the person who hosted the brunch for my birthday that it wasn't the best experience for the entire group trying to wait for me and my friend to eat after saying grace. Valerie was completely inattentive to anything we had to say, continuously cut me off while trying to express my feedback on our experience and attempted to walk away several times during the conversation and said "I know what kind of guy you are, you just want to act like a big man in front of your people." Imagine that on your birthday while speaking respectfully. I asked for her to bring me her card so I can speak to the hospitality group since she was unwilling to take the feedback and I feel that her attitude as a restaurant manager was unacceptable and instead of coming back as manager and addressing the issue head on, she sent it with the sever instead who was not apart of the conversation at all after we initially escalated the issue along side a bill with none of the adjustments we requested. I asked the waiter to please send the manager over with her own card as a sign of respect for the conversation at minimum as she repeatedly disrespected us in her dialogue where she returned with her card and said "heres my card and if you have a problem with paying its fine, ill call the police." As an active member of the miami community who is a partner in several businesses in the area I will be sure to deter anyone from dining in this venue due to Valeries actions, especially as a manager. Im almost floored that you can even share a building with GROOT Hospitality as Dave would not tolerate such terrible behavior from management staff at any of his venues & will do my due diligence to speak with the owner of this establishment to have this addressed as it is allegedly privately owned. This is the service to expect from management at $1384.14

Outstanding Dinner

By R N |

A phenomenal place. My wife and I dined at Klaw in August 2025. We were blown away by the exceptional service. Very special place. A big thank you to our server Christian who was very well versed on the menu. Great service. Food was amazing. Get the Norweigan King Crab. It’s a big win. Thank you again, Christian. Klaw, we will be back soon. Rob and Gracie Chicago

Fool me once, won't fool me twice

By Louis P |

We dined for our wedding anniversary and had an experience well beneath the price of the menu. I actually took time to post a review directly at their invitation based on a follow up email they sent. I received an outreach from the "Chief of First Impressions", had a chuckle over that. The following text is from the email I sent to them after speaking directly to them about my experience. Mayrel, If the point of our call yesterday was to at some level, “make it right”, then your second chance to make a positive first impression fell flat. Your outreach note to me was composed through generative AI, with minor edits, and putting a priority on your needs, versus our dissatisfaction, speaks volumes. I think I need to post a follow-up review highlighting this empty customer-service experience.

Beautiful setting, mediocre food.

By Nomad53938939720 |

Beautiful setting, great staff and really (and expensive) mediocre food. A real disappointment. Supposedly a great steakhouse, it's nothing special. Our steak and seafood entree were tasteless. While I'd go there again for a drink, I'd never eat there again

Klaw your way right past their seafood, and go straight for the steak.

By Seaside276333 |

Went w/ 2 life long friends who were as excited as I was to try this lightly touted restaurant. Wait staff was attentive and was pleasant. Drinks were amazing. I had a mojito, and my friend had a gin and tonic. Both expertly prepared. Server recommended the Alaskan King Crab Claws. We indulged w/ 2 orders to serve as our appetizer. Crab meat was stringy, bland and somewhat watery. What a disappointment! We then moved on to entrees. My friend ordered a steak, while his girlfriend and I ordered more non-descript seafood. When my friend. bit into his steak, he said w/ a straight face "this is the best steak I have even had in my life.." Although I don't eat steak, I tried it and it was absolutely outstanding. Perfectly cooked, and the meat simply melted in my mouth. This filet is TOP NOTCH. Had carrot cake for desert, which is almost like a baked souflee. Definitely a different taste. We also had the chocolate offering, which was quite good.

New Year’s Celebration Disaster

By Catracho-in-Miami |

With my family, we had a booking for New Year celebrations at 10:00 PM. After 95 minutes waiting, we were finally seated. By then, the food was cold, the menu had no choices, the service was lacking. Absolutely, we’re never going back.

Great Cocktails and Water views

By vlust |

Went to Klaw for the very first time and I felt overall the place is nice and the staff was very friendly but we ordered the Seafood Tower and I'm sorry but the King Crab that came was not thawed correctly therefore the meat was sticking to the shell, so the meat was crumbled not solid at all. I was very disappointed in that. The people I was with is in the seafood business and they knew right away something was off. Everything else offered on the tower was edible. Drinks fantastic. Ambience also fantastic. I plan to return but I will not order the king crab.

Great for Drinks Food is subjective

By J Fran |

My true score is a 2.5 -We came here for a girls night out and decided to try their happy hour menu. The ambiance was very low lightening in the main dining area. The restaurant was more on the quiet side. Most of us got the Cesar salad and the greens they used for the Cesar salad were on the bitter side. For my main course I got a flank iron steak medium well done. When it 1st came out it looked like it was med. the flavor profile of the steak was lacking in my opinion, but the truffle sauce that I added to it was amazing. It was a favorite at the table. One of the girls got the salmon and they thought it was a little on the dry side. The potatoe side dish was interesting. It seemed as if they flash fried the outside and in the middle it was super soft. It also didn’t have a real flavor profile- I didn’t enjoy it. My friend did decide to take one for the team and try the beef cheeks …… we were all intrigued by it. It came out on a bed of mash potatoes but it seemed like the mash potatoes were fluffed. The cheeks were actually flavorful. They tasted good but it seemed like they cooked them a little too long because they were on the softer/mushier side. It seemed like it was cooked that way on purpose based on the how fluffy the mash potatoes were. The cheeks were actually the best thing that we tried. Even the mash fluffed potatoes were good. The drinks on the other hand were really good. They definitely were the best part of the night. The service was good. The waitress did a good job of explaining everything to us. I think i would come back here just for drinks if i was in the neighborhood.

Love it

By Traveller |

Not cheap but for a special occasion it’s worth it in my opinion. The service , food quality and atmosphere are all top notch. It’s our third time coming here for the wagyu steak and we still love it. Other dishes I would recommend are the aubergine miso side , straciatella starter and chocolate mousse dessert

Love Klaw and Lia

Absolutely love this place. The steak selection is always great and the crab is one of the best in town. Lia was great and her personal touch to service is well appreciated.

Outstanding and delightful views

Superb setting, excellent service snd great food. I have been there twice already on this trip and am blown away at the excellence. The small plates, the crab, the cocktails all outstanding. And really lovely people serving. I’ll be back

Good but extremely expensive

By Miriam N |

The food service and ambience were great. However, it’s ridiculously overpriced. There are lots of other places in Miami that are just as good and is less costly.

Really good but way to overpriced

By Andrea B |

I read the recommendation by locals reviewers in my favorite website and i was intrigued by the style and the menu. We had one of the best meal in a steakhouse in long time. The quality and the origin of the meat was excellent. The service was really good, we enjoyed pur night till the bill came. To be honest it’s a bit overpriced, a two star michelin in Milan is cheaper. Even though we agreed the food was really good and we did not choose the top cut’s is still remain pricey

We got very sign after dinner. Still have not heard back from management and bought we will

By Jeff H |

Had important clientes in town and wanted to treat them to a beautiful dinner experience at one of Miami's finest. The ambiance and the wait staff at Klaw were exactly what we had hoped for. A beautiful dining room and amazing staff welcomed us. All and all it was an amazing dinner in every way except by the time my wife a made it home, we were became deathly overcome with diarrhea and vomiting. That was Saturday night and I am still recovering Monday morning as I am about to start my work week. Still don't know if it was spoiled food, or if it was just too rich for two people that don't go out to suck "fancy" restaurants...but it was a brutal day that almost ended in the emergency room. I did call for a a manager on Sunday but was told no one was available. Finally after several repeated attempts got through to a supposed mananger who feigned concern and interest but has yet to get ten back to us. No email, no one's name, no direct phone number. Was and I am still surprised at how weak an effort is made when they hear you had a problem. Was not looking for anything other than sincere concern and empathy. $788.96 later and I still have a very queasy stomach and Not a lot of energy or enthusiasm for a big week ahead after such a miserable weekend. Altogether unimpressed by poor customer service. I have very little expectation of even getting a call back. Two of the takeaways: 1. Didn't expect to get so horribly sick from such an upscale and highly regarded restaurant. 2. Very surprised and disappointed how the senior management has not yet gotten back to us to apologize or sort this out. At this point I would recommend avoiding this overrated, overpriced restaurant with spoiled food. It was truly a disappointing evening. The biggest disappointment if how the senior staff can't be bothered dealing with problems!

Klaw Miami

By Richard A |

Klaw cancelled our reservation 3 hours beforehand, stating they needed the table for an event. Never heard of this happening to anyone. Not trustworthy.

Expensive but delicious

By ScaryLarry |

The king crab was excellent. The Chateaubriand was perfect. Truffle fries and sautéed mushrooms were delicious. And lastly the sommelier helped pick a fine wine. Atmosphere was stunning too. Cost? Well that’s up there too.

Dinner as a gift

By A.christina |

This is probably the best special occasion restaurant in Miami. It’s very pricey but the service, quality of food and atmosphere is perfect. I’ve gone for date night and with my parents and it was even better returning. The bar on the 6th floor is nice for before or after dinner as well. Haven’t tried one menu item I didn’t like. The crab legs are unreal!

Incredible atmosphere, service, and food!

By Angela Caruso |

Klaw is the experience you NEED 😍 Located inside the Historic Women's Club in Edgewater, this upscale surf-and-turf restaurant has a rooftop lounge on the 6th floor, with stunning views of Biscayne Bay, and an elegant main dining room on the 4th floor. We were lucky enough to experience both, starting off with a round of cocktails in the lounge before heading downstairs for dinner 🥃 Known for their Norwegian king crab & dry aged beef, you know we had to try both! The crab legs & claws were incredible, cut and served table-side with a garlic & lemon butter sauce 🦀🥩 The steak was cooked to perfection and served with an insane truffle sauce that we wanted to drench everything in 🤤 For sides we went with the baby bok choy & roasted wild mushrooms, both were so delicious and perfectly complimented the surf & turf! And you know we always have to try dessert, so we opted for the candy bar & carrot cake, which was actually the best carrot cake we’ve ever had! Be sure to bookmark this for your next Miami trip ✨

Wonderful views and service, but the steak was bland. I have no idea why this restaurant is rated as the best steakhouse in Florida. It's not even top ten.

KLAW - certainly a WOW experience!!

Located in the historic approx 15,000 square-foot, 3 story Miami Women's Club (built 1925; National Register of Historic Places 1974; abandoned 2006), upscale KLAW is the first USA foray of international restaurateur Misha Elman (and entrepreneur Sasha Krilov. Chef Tim Elmore oversees the "crab program" (a rare opportunity to taste Norwegian King Crab, shipped live to Miami from Norway's Barents Sea), and the exclusive "beef program" served at Klaw. As for the dining experience: Incredible historic setting (with redone updated interior) Gorgeous Biscayne Bay views from waterfront Edgewater section of Miami Wonderful hospitality and service (Insider's tip: arrive early during daylight hours to visit the top floor more casual "cafe" and enjoy breathtaking Biscayne Bay views and skyline) An excellent meal Otherworldly prices!! This was our first visit, and we sampled: Cocktails: very nice margarita, and Eat-A-Peach (sweet & tasty drink) Crab tacos appetizer - good Green salad - average quality Duck breast entree - very good King Crab legs - served warm, "cracked"/carved table-side - a sweet delicacy! Green beans with romesco - excellent side dish Truffle french fries - overly truffled for my taste Pear and almond cake - delicious bruleed fruit; average cake Candy bar dessert - excellent! Miami has A LOT of phenomenal high-end dining. "$150" per person will get you a sensational meal at many of Miami's expensive restaurants. KLAW would be much closer to "$250" per person: Klaw stands-out for its' unique historic setting and the one-of-a-kind Norwegian King Crab menu items; the overall meal is on par (but no better) than many/most of Miami's finest restaurants.
