Very peaceful atmosphere with great staff who are very personable. The menu offers a wide variety of options, and is vegetarian friendly. Great for lunch or dinner dining.

One of the few restaurants in the area that was open on Christmas. We had such a great time and enjoyed the food so much, it might just become a new family tradition!

My party was seated promptly. Then, it was 5-10 minutes before we saw a server. We were about to leave when someone showed up at the table. The ambience was characterized by running and whining children. We ordered drinks and appetizers. Both took an extraordinarily long time to arrive. It's hard to mess up edamame; but it was overcooked and under-salted. The baby octopus was passable. My dinner companion ordered . It was drenched in a nasty brown sauce. Half was left on the plate. I ordered their signature Kobe Delight (it wasn't). It was supposed to lobster, shrimp, scallop, and squid. It did have nice lobster shells; but no lobster. It had fake crab meat, hard boiled shrimp, scallops, and calamari rings sitting on a gelatinous pile of some ghastly noodles. A few bites and I was done. We both paid extra for brown rice. I really believe that it must have been white rice that was colored brown; but I could be wrong. I've just never seen sticky brown rice like that. We both left most everything on our plates. The bill was $110 before gratuity. I would never waste my time or money there again.

My General Tso's Chicken was overcooked so the waitress returned my meal to the kitchen. The manager then came to our table and stated that if I re-ordered the same meal, the second meal would be identical because that's how they prepare their chicken. I then ordered Massaman Curry and several minutes later the manager again came to our table and told me that they had no potatoes to put in the dish. I was offered a third chance to order. Again, the waitress brought me the menu and I ordered a third time. By now, my husband was almost finished with his meal. Twelve minutes later my meal arrived. There were only three other couples eating in our area so it should not have taken so long to fix a simple dish of chicken, vegetables and sauce. I believe my re-order was placed in the bottom of the Chief's "in box," when it should have received immediate attention. When I discussed our experience with the manager he offered me 10% off of my meal. I felt insulted. I believe that due to the error on the part of the restaurant, that I should not have been charged for my meal or at least received a free meal coupon for my next visit. This was not the first time that we have eaten at this restaurant but it will be our last.

My husband and I happened to see a billboard advertising this restaurant as we were running errands in Atlanta today. Since it was lunchtime, we decided to pop in and try the Japanese Hibachi. According to the menu, they offer a nice array of Sushi, Thai and Japanese foods. Seating includes both dining room or the Hibachi area which includes the 'show' offered by the chef. We arrived around 2 pm and while there was only one other family ahead of us, we were asked to wait about ten minutes which was not excessive, but it seemed odd to have a wait time when the restaurant was not busy. We did notice a bit of wait time again once we were seated. Once orders were taken however, things began to move more quickly. Our table mates ordered California Roll Sushi as an appetizer and raved about it. The portions were generous. My husband and I ordered Hibachi Chicken and Shrimp. The meal included soup which was average in taste; that said, it was light enough taste-wise that I noticed a small child gobbling down her soup so that is a WIN in my book! This was followed by salad with their version of ginger dressing- absolutely delicious! The chef was very entertaining/engaging. Next came the fried rice which was very good; steamed rice comes with meal, however, if you prefer fried rice, that is a two dollar up-charge. The veggies were served next and were as good as any that I've had in other like restaurants. The chicken and shrimp were also delicious. The waitress was attentive and refilled drinks several times during the meal. All in all a good value at less than $40.00 for the two of us inclusive of tip. Overall, a very nice experience.

Family visit for my birthday. Great service. Great food. We had Scallops, Steak, Salmon, and Shrimp. All were cooked to perfection. Our chef was very good. And our server was amazing. He brought his A Game to the table. A great sense of humor but not intrusive. Will Go Back!!!

Went in for the first time. Service was great on a Sunday evening. Quality of food was excellent. Loved the fresh wasabi; not processed in any way. Will come back.

Kobe has been great for both sushi and hibachi. They have consistently great food and service. Kobe is family friendly and relaxed. The staff always greet you and you feel welcome.

First time here and will be back. Love this place, wonderful service and very good food. In fact, they service you enough food to take some house. My friend had a salmon salad and he loved it. Great place for a group of people.

We enjoyed KOBE on a weeknight with colleagues. We had an eclectic group with some loving sushi and others vegetarian. Everyone went away happy with choices ranging from sushi to chinese to thai. Service was attentive, atmosphere was nice. Next time I'd like to try the Hibachi.

The food was very tasty but be aware that although it doesn't taste salty, there is quite a bit of salt and/or MSG in the food. I gained 1.5 lbs overnight after eating dinner there. Portions of entrees are huge-we took home enough for at least two meals for each person. I had the steak and mushroom entree with broccoli and spinach with brown sauce. The veggies were cooked just right and the broccoli was still crisp. My companion had the teriyaki steak with pineapple which he considered quite tasty. We were seated quickly on a Saturday evening-we opted to eat in the main dining room, rather than the hibachi grill. The waitress however, spoke only limited English. Next time I hope to try some of the sushi.

Good typical asian foods here. the service is very good. usually there are 2/1 coupons in local papers.

14 family members consisting of 6 adults and 8 children with varied tastes tried a Hibachi dinner in the designated area of the restaurant. For the vast majority of our party, this was a first time experience. I have to admit experiencing a bit of nervousness at the challenge of pleasing our crowd. Not to worry. It turned out to be a successful and entertaining evening, even for the vegetarians and those picky young eaters in our group. Our chef was a showman and the food, especially the fried rice and shrimp, was very good and plentiful.

I celebrated my son's 21st birthday there this past Saturday and I was overjoyed! We had reserved the private Hibachi room because we were expecting 25 people. They accommodated us even though 28 people showed up! But having the room felt like it was a family gathering around a huge table !The waiters knew their stuff. The Hibachi chefs were immensely fun! The food was more than enough. They had a special birthday song complete with tambourines etc. The manager (Jimmy?) was friendly, fun and super helpful. Overall a wonderful experience.

My wife and I enjoyed this place. We both had filet, shrimp, & chicken with fried rice. The cook was talented and entertaining. I enjoyed the house made garlic butter..except on the broccoli.. Nice place

I went there with my husband and a friend. The waitress was not very good: when she brought me my beer, she did not bring me a glass. It took 20 minutes and three requests for me to get a glass and she got snippy with me. Our orders were supposed to include shrimp appetizers and dessert. We got neither. When I complained to the manager, I was offered a 15% off for my next visit. Seriously? We get those 15# off coupons in the mail all the time. I overpaid and he should have offered me a refund, not a throwaway coupon.

Great service, great food, fun time watching the cook prepare our meal. Check in on Yelp and get 15% off dinner. Can't wait to go back again.

The hibachi chicken with fried rice was delicious! The lunch hibachi special came with soup, salad, fried rice, vegetables and meat which was a lot of food for lunch. The fried rice was the best part! Definitely come here again.

Service was slow. Waiter rude and inattentive. Sushi awful - fell apart, mushy avocado, tiny bit of fish. Rice dish was cold and waiter made a face when we asked to have it heated up. Food came in dribs and drabs.

I ordered a shrimp tempura style sushi. The rice was nice and warm but the shrimp inside it was ice cold. I sent it back. Waitres tried to explain in very broken English but I could not under stand her. She brough another back and it was prepared the same way. I suspect the frozen shrimp was probably fast fried and the inside never got warm. Won't be ordering that again. My husband's order was fine.

This review is for the Hibachi side... First off, you need reservations - please call ahead! I went two times and have been to plenty of these type restaurants. This time it was for my 6 y/o daughter birthday, she LOVED IT! Food Quality/Taste 5 out of 5 Service 5 out of 5 Fun Factor 5 out of 5 Value 5 out of 5 (when you use the coupon after checking in on y@lp) They have a kids menu, meals include ice cream for dessert!

I enjoyed my time with a friend here and the food was delicious and amazing. The Sushi was fresh and came out in a timely manner and the hibachi was excellent as well.

The staff were great, bartender was funny & the presentation of the food & sushi was fabulous. Everything was fresh and our waitress checked with us several times. Can't wait to return.

This Restaurant is located in Georgia .My family and I went to this Location for the First time. There’s a Wait to be seated, due to the limited space..Customers are able to pay with 💰cash,Credit Cards or Debit Cards..The Bar Area serves Dirink🍻🍹with your Food Order..Our Food🥘🥙 was Cooked at our Table..The chief gave us a Show🔪🥢while perspiring the Meal for 15 people!! We enjoyed the different meals with Drinks 🥤..The Restaurant charges a 18% additional fees with the Bill..

I have been there several times now while staying at the Doubletree for Sushi, although I can hear the drums of the hibachi grill. The food is freshly prepared and the Saki nice and cold. The specialty rolls are very good and the waitstaff happily will answer your questions about ingredients.

We were so happy to find out that Kobe has happy Hour prices from 5 to 6. We loved the show. The salad, soup and fried rice were fabulous. My shrimp hibachi was just the way I like It.

Kobe House opened in January 2015 so we waited a month to allow the place to get its act together before going. Last night we decided it was time to go. It was mostly a good experience. First, the redesign of this storefront space is quite attractive, a real upscale feel. The space is divided into a hibachi area and a dining area with booths, tables and a sushi bar. We sat on the dining side but it sounded like the hibachi area was having a lot of fun. We ordered sushi (Philly roll), hibachi chicken platter and Kobe Treasure (a platter with beef, chicken, shrimp, scallops and tofu). The food was very tasty and nicely presented. The hibachi platter came with all the courses that you get in the hibachi room but without the flashing knives and volcanoes. The servers were dressed in kimonos and were pleasant. The only negative was that the food came out in an erratic pattern and they were a little slow. Prices were comparable to similar restaurants in the metro area. We would definitely return.

This is an excellent Japanese steakhouse serving tepanyaki style or at a regular table. The food is excellent as is the service. Very rare to have a long wait time.

Steak and shrimp were cooked perfectly, veggies and fried rice needed more flavor. Chef was very attentive and friendly.

I enjoyed dining with my family to celebrate a birthday. Dodi was our chef. He was entertaining while he prepared our food. The portions were huge and so delicious. We took some home with us. The atmosphere was delightful. We plan to return soon.

Kobe House has been open only 10 months. I watched the "coming soon" sign and was excited about its arrival. They're smart. They mix asian cuisines and cover all bases. And they have a full bar. I've been there for lunch, dinner and "occasions." Most important to me, is a restaurant that I can rely on to be relatively consistent. I understand that Kobe House has had its challenges, all restaurants do, especially start-ups. I will never say about this place, that one dish or one thing I ordered wasn't perfect and I won't go back. I've tried appetizers... some I loved, some I liked. And I've had many, many dishes. Garlic Eggplant is delicious. Without meat, and with chicken. Masaman Curry, too. Had both a number of times, shared. It was delicious, served without meat. I really think that they are trying to build something. To have employees who will learn the menu, and kitchen staff who will be true to the way a meal should be prepared every time. The Hibachi side is very popular, especially for "occasions." I prefer to sit on the private dining side because it will almost always be quiet. You can order hibachi to be served on the private side. We've had the steak hibachi as a side (they have sirloin and filet mignon). And we've had the side of hibachi vegetables (with our non-hibachi entree). It's sizable and really good. I ordered the vegetable hibachi dish early on, but I just prefer the veggies as a side dish. As with most restaurant experiences, I think most of us find things we like and stay with them. Or we order something else we know we like. They also have upscale entrees... sea bass, for one, but when they can't get the good chilean sea bass, they don't have it. I respect that, and I can choose something else. Four of us went one night ; we ordered 2 dishes from the upscale entrees. They were both out. It was end of week, Sunday night. But there was plenty more to choose from. I've tried many of the sushis... enjoy the California Crunch Roll, Boston Roll and Georgia Roll.. Some soups are mild (like clear and miso), but they also have Chinese soups (egg drop, wonton, hot and sour). They do charge for tea. If you order it, you get a pot and a tea bag, like many oriental places these days, and if two people order it, each is charged $1.95. Not sure I love that but I'm not going to quibble about it. They have a full bar and many of the drinks (specialty drinks) have downtown prices. That can drive up the bill. Ambiance is very nice. The experience is very nice. I hope they will continue to grow, and create a staff that is consistent with the dishes. I know they are working towards that. The waitstaff is always nice and mostly helpful.

Hostess made us wait until a hibachi table had enough people to fill it. Have never done that anywhere else. Service wasn't very good. Chef kept staring off towards the kitchen, didn't do a normal entertaining job. I'm a sauce person and I was not fond of the salad dressing or either of the ginger or yum yum sauce. Had to ask for the sauce, was never offered it. He had to keep scraping the grill, everything kept burning. Soup was tasteless.

Great Hibachi and sushi. Hibachi is better when you are at the table- if you order not in the Hibachi room, it doesn't seem as fresh to me- almost like it was microwaved. The sushi with the Kobe Steak on it is to DIE for!

I was in town on a business trip, and looking for my favorite food (Sushi) i did a google search the first place i found was closed on Monday and Tuesday so i picked the next and was VERY happy!!! I eat sushi on a regularly, and know when i have found a quality place. Eason the sushi chef was very friendly and knowledgeable, i enjoyed talking to him as well as trying his special creations (his own pickled garlic) and his specialty rolls, i order more than i could eat and enjoyed every mouth full and plan to return tomorrow night. The sushi and the service was at the best i have found!!!!

The server was TERRIBLE!!! They didn't bring the right drinks! They didn't bring the appetizer I ordered! They didn't bring the rice to table and when she did she THREW it n the table and said I DIDN"T FORGET!!! Then I get my bill and I am charged for FRIED RICE??? Really??? Then I call to report it and the mgr was not willing to refund my meal!! There are PLENTY of other hibachi places in Atlanta that give FAR BETTER service than this!!! Will never return!!!! BEWARE!!!!
Average Food, Not Worth a Wait
We have been here several times since it's close to home. The food is okay, but mixing Thai, Chinese, and Japanese items on the menu results in nothing being particularly good. Our typical bill for soups, entrees, soft drinks and tip was $50, too high for average food. The final straw was walking in, seeing 4 empty booths near the bar and being told there was a 25 minute wait. We weren't trying to have the flying knives experience. We asked what about the booths and were told they're not part of the dining area. I'm sort of glad it happened since I don't like this place and didn't want to go there anyway. Now I don't have to. We ended up at Panda Express paying $20 for two with food on a par with Kobe House.
