The ambiance is romantic and relaxing, and the service is good, both helpful and courteous. The food, however, was decent but not as good as hoped - might try again with different dishes.

Kobe is my favorite Japanese steakhouse to visit in Orlando. The staff are always friendly and ive never had a bad visit. The portions are so large that you can never finish. The manager Tony Lo is always visiting the table to make sure the experience is great. Will be back again next week.

Hibachi steak houses are often ⅔ entertainment, ⅓ dining. We were warmly received and added to a hibachi table with 6 others. It is amusing that what might be a setting for people to engage each other rarely is; the noise level in the restaurant plus the chef's banter worked against the seating being anything more than 8 people at a table with a hot grill in front of them. Our waitress was cordial and efficient bringing drinks and a 1st course of soup and salad quite promptly. After taking our orders, she stepped aside and a delightful chef showed up to prepare our meals. It was typical Japanese steak house fare: fried rice, noodles, vegetables, even potatoes (long on the carbs!). We enjoyed the volcano onion as always. The Chef prepared the meats with panache. Alas, our steaks were over-cooked (we'd asked for medium rare) and dry. Other seems pleased with their chicken and shrimp. On the whole it was an ok meal, the fried rice being the best bet. My recommendation would be to upgrade to a filet or ribeye if you order steak.

Good experience after the yawn from the staff getting us at the door. No doubt it’d been a long day. The experience was great, stacks of food there’s no need to order any of the appetisers after the complimentary ones. Drinks service a little slow but overall a good experience

I have only ever eaten teppanaki at all-inclusive hotels in the Caribbean, where you have a room to your selves, so the noise level of a room of 4 or 5 tables was a bit of a shock. However the theatre as the same. A bit too much food, you had to eat it as it was cooked, it would not have all fit on the plate ! The Americans were busy boxing it all up at the end.

Went to celebrate our nephew 25th birthday. Felt safe enough with plexiglas separating us from one couple at the table. The $12 specialty passion fruit margarita was sent back by myself and the lady from the other party. No taste of passion fruit what so ever. Mine had no tequila in it and I was given the excuse that apparently margaritas on the rock have more alcohol than frozen?!? They replaced it and it was much better. Our female server (Annie?) when we asked if the filet mignon regular portion was enough food told us that it was not a lot of meat and that my nephew should definitely go with the large portion. A very big difference in price at $39 !!! Well guess what ? I had the regular portion and it was enough meat with all the food assortment that they cook for you. I felt like it was a very unnecessary up-sell especially when my nephew had leftovers and took 1/2 of his food (and filet) home. Finally our Teppanyaki Chef was friendly but had a very awkward sense of humor while presenting the food he was cooking. He kept naming food chains from where the food came from... “Japanese potatoes from Costco” and “Rice Noodles from Walmart”, “Rice from Publix” etc... Odd and not funny. The food tasted fine, still upset with the push about ten $39 filet mignon... Good luck!

Decent place with Hibachi cooks with parties of 10 or more, I’ve been to many Japanese steakhouses across the county and this one didn’t disappoint, service was good food was tasty!!

Our party of 3 shared a hibachi table with another family. The chef was talented and friendly and the food was excellent and plentiful. Service was good and they offered a full bar.

We went to Kobe on 8/31/19 to celebrate my son's success in the Tae Kwon Do tournament he competed in earlier in the day. The restaurant was nice and clean. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Our hibachi chef was very entertaining. We had so much food that we had to take leftovers home. The food was delicious! We will definitely go back the next time we are in town.

The worst meal ever. We travel all over the world and I have never had a meal like this. We told them we have never been there before. They said scan the menu. We asked her to explain the add ons and she said look at the menu. In and out in 53 minutes. I wrote to corporate they were extremely rude and talked over me. There are so many more restaurants in that area that you don’t need to go and be treated like we were

great food and great service! everyone is so nice and chef was definitely the best part, had us laughing 90 % of the time! thank you for a wonderful experience!!

Such a great restaurant. We had a reservation and were seated quickly. During the short wait to be seated, we ordered a margarita and a draft Japanese beer, both of which were very good. The service was prompt and friendly. We loved it all: soup, salad with ginger dressing, rice, noodles, chicken, filet minion, shrimp and sirloin. All so good, and their yumyum sauce was great with the meats. The teppanyaki show was good, with funny jokes added and the food was cooked expertly. We added a roll of sushi which was delicious. We loved it and will definitely return.

To start, the food was exquisite and delightful. The atmosphere is very beautiful and very culturally accurate. Our server Neil was very attentive and to quick give our party refills and ask any questions. Our cook Kai was amazing and very skillful. He had everyone at the table excited and joyful from his jokes and tricks. The manager Tony one of the best managers I have ever encountered in my lifetime. He sung so very pleasing to the ears, his voice is like silk. Amazing service and would recommend to anyone in the Orlando area looking for a good time.

Party of 6 with 8 total at the table, the chef (Abe) was clearly upset or not happy about something. His demeanor and food prep were poor serving our party a subpar meal. We have been to this restaurant several times before and have noticed a decline in quality each time. We will not return.

Excellent teppanyaki experience Food was excellent, with an entertaining chef, and good service A little out of the way, but not an issue

We came here when we stayed at the Clarion Inn as its just down the road. So much to do around it bars, shops, other restaurants the location is great. The food is great also. We both had steak and both absolutely loved it, perfext place to go after a long day on a plane, such a relaxed vibe with friendly staff and a very classy restaurant. A+

In Orlando for a business trip. Came to Kobe for a meal with 2 others from our conference. Staff were excellent from start to finish. From the manager to the chef to the server to the bar man. All were very pleasant. Food was excellent. Massive portions. Theatre was brilliant. Heading back to the uk otherwise I’d be attending again.

Natalie and Yuki and the floor manager were all wonderful. This is a great place for an entertaining and tasty meal. The filet was perfectly cooked and the food was plentiful so yay for leftovers

My husband and I have 3 kids ages 1, 7 and our first baby whom turned 10 today 😳 MY daughter requested A Hibichi for her birthday dinner. We reside in Brevard and took the trip to Kissimmee/Orlando to celebrate her big day. When we came to Kobe, we were told that we would be on a 20 minute wait. Within 5 minutes we were sat. Our server was Mike whom was absolutely 💯 amazing. We got our drinks within 2 minutes. He was super sweet, acknowledged everyone that was in his presence and drinks was always refilled. I have been in the hospitality industry for 18 years and i am still. My husband and I dont ever get to go out and to have this type of service is soooo worth it. Our Chef was Chef Kazuki. He was amazing , hilarious, acknowledged both of my children and the fact it was my daughters birthday. To top it off... the FOOD... OMG... the first taste of the soup, salad, fried rice and etc was absolutely phenomenal 👌 the best tasting food I have had in forever. The manager Tony Lo was soo attentive. Came by to ask of everything was good and said Happy Birthday to my little girl. He also came back and was there to sing Happy Birthday to her. She was soo happy. It felt soo good to be catered for when for the past almost 2 decades I have catered for others. My family and I will be back soon. This restaurant is top of the line and highly recommended

I think this restaurant is equal in terms of food quality and service to Benihana's. relatively good crowd there, service was very good and food quality was good for a restaurant catering to mostly Tourist cliental .

We visited here after a few days of being on holiday. As we didn’t have a car it was easy to get to as was just a 5 minute walk down the road. As the title of this review states this is a great place which offers great food and great service at a great price. Well worth the visit, thank you Kobe’s.

I love this place! Japanese Steakhouses are a favorite of mine, but this was the best ever. The staff is amazing and the food is delicious.

Do not like the cooking shows put on by Japanese chefs at Teppanyaki grills. But Kobe in Lake Buena Vista has a wonderful regular restaurant attached to them, called Mai Hana. My wife and I have eaten there many times when visiting the Disney area and always love it. We arrived Saturday night around 6pm and found the lobby packed with people waiting for the grill show. I told the hostess we were there only for the restaurant and were seated immediately. My wife ordered the vegan tofu and veggie plate and I ordered the shrimp and scallop plate. Both came with soup (mine was onion and was delicious), salad, noodles and rice. All portions were very respectable. The room is comfortable and observed proper CDC protocol. Our server, Hanna, was very knowledgeable and friendly. Overall, we love eating there.

Original Kobes where we first tried and back 16 years later and still great. Our chef and server May were brilliant and food delicious. So much food. Great place to celebrate our holiday

The bar service is awesome, Hung took very good care of us and informed us of happy hour specials. We’re new locals to Orlando and love the sushi, service and drinks. Definitely coming back for the hospitality. Check it out.

If I could leave 6 stars, I would! Miriam was a phenomenal waitress, and so so incredibly sweet! She easily took care of our full hibachi table with 10 of us, memorizing drinks, appetizers, and tickets! It was my birthday as well as another lady at the table, and they made sure to take extra special care of us, and gave me a birthday cupcake and sang to us with a drum! The chef, Tho, was so friendly and funny! He was witty and clever and kept up with everyone’s orders! And manager Tony was super nice as well! Highly recommend!! Will go again given the chance ☺️

We ended up here after attempting to go to another restaurant on Christmas. Worth the visit. Money well spent. I had the seafood trio with rice, noodles, and veggies. Mushroom soup was good. A bit cold however we enjoyed it

I've been going to Kobes for over 15 years, I can honestly say the experience at the location on International Drive was horrible. First of all, the server tried to rush our order. We basically sat down she asked us what we wanted to drink and what we wanted to order. Then she never came back to see if we needed anything, like chopsticks or more drinks. Chef came, started out good, didn't do any "entertainment' used so much oil on the food that's all you could taste, he tried to tell us that that's all he could use, shrimp and scallops were burnt. The he got an attitude when we asked if he could at least put some salt on the food.

We had a nice hibachi dinner at this restaurant during our recent trip to Disney. The restaurant is definitely kid-friendly. Actually, on the day that we went (Tuesday), kids ate free. The food was quite good and the portions were large. This is the first hibachi restaurant that I’ve attended that served noodles on the flat top in addition to rice and vegetables. The show was the standard hibachi show and our chef was entertaining. The restaurant also offers an early bird special. I would recommend this restaurant for an entertaining dinner experience.

First time as we were experiencing the attractions. The experience was fun to watch and the food plentiful. Not inexpensive and only complaint is that the non-meat courses were cooked and served first so that by the time we got to the "real part of the meal" we were full.

We go here everytime we come to Orlando. Staff friendly and efficient. Chef's amazing and always funny. Waitress very quick and helpful. Food fantastic amazing brilliant as usual so so good. 5 of us cleared our plates as usual. Food piping hot off the grill plus nice wine and cocktails. can't wait until next time

We had reservations and had to wait a bit, but we also had a large group of over 40 soccer players so it was expected. Sammy was our chef for two tables and he was amazing. He literally had all of us laughing. He interacted with each of us. It was more of dinner and a show with Sammy. Will definitely return when in the area again. Oh and the food, from the soup to the salad to the main course, it was delicious and plentiful. Sorry no photos (we weren't allowed phones at dinner, team rule). Would definitely recommend.

Kobe offers a lovely environment in addition to really delicious Japanese Food. Service is helpful and very polite, always happy to answer any questions regarding their menu. We highly recommend their Spicy Tuna Poke and the Chicken Moo goo Gaipan. We arrived early, around 5:30. It does get busy after 6pm, so make reservations.

I rated my experience 5/5 as the food was exceptional, the entertainment was fascinating and the chefs were amazingly friendly, funny and were great around children. The restaurant was well decorated and the staff were fast and efficient. I would like to do a special shout-out to chef Kenzuki , server Ryan and manager Tony as they made our outstanding experience even more enjoyable. We ordered sushi and tuna and I would highly recommend it.

They have a very pleasant atmosphere, the staff is a very confident group always ready to top off your drink and cater to all your wishes Nataly had everything under control, Our Chef Katashi prepared an excellent meal the steaks were so tender and the scallops were perfect and the show was awesome to top it off Tony the manager came by to make sure that everyone was pleased with there dinner. It is a Great restaurant!!!

The outside is not too beautiful but don’t judge a book by its cover. This place was amazing. The inside was beautiful, the staff was very accommodating and the food was delicious not to mention the amount served was enough for lunch the next day. The kids ate free with the purchase of mine and my husbands meals. Highly recommend.

We celebrated our Anniversary here and they were AMAZING!! These people love to make you happy 😃!! We enjoyed Every Morsel and Cooking Techniques! A MUST GO!

What a wonderful dinner! We were on vacation celebrating our daughter’s college graduation. Some of us had sushi (best spicy tuna and eel roll) and two of our party had hibachi and it was all so good! Excellent service also!

We made reservations online and waited for about 10 minutes before we were seated. Meal was good but the chef I think was new. Typically hibachi chefs are entertaining and make you laugh. Ours fell short to the pint it was awkward silence. Portions were above average, however so was the garlic they cooked with. Need to back off with that mister or my wife won’t come by me !!! Atmosphere was good, we will give this place another shot for sure !!

Discreet Japanese restaurant at Lake Buenavista in Orlando. Large menu with not too much vegetarian choice. Average prices maybe a little high.

Excellent overall experience and great food. Teppanyaki chef and servers were wonderful. They also made a nice presentation recognizing our special event.

Great experience and great food. A lot of food make sure you're hungry!! Be ready to be full. It was very entertaining we enjoyed our chef. The over all experience was a good time.

Started with a 45 minute wait to even be seated, followed by sharing a table with awful kids whose parents didn’t want to sit with them. Poor hibachi. Little theatre and underseasoned food. Drinks were so slow coming we went and ordered at the bar. 18% service charge for no service was shameful. No apology for the overall really poor effort. Don’t eat here.

In town for the week visiting Disney and Universal. Last night together and we wanted to do something fun. This place did not disappoint at all. Food was great and we had a blast! Chino did and amazing job preparing our food and was fantastically entertaining, he had us laughing so hard. Coline did a great job raking care of and getting is all set up. Highly recommend and we will come back for sure!

Excellent food and service!! Priced right!! Great atmosphere, very entertaining! We will definitely be back!

We had visited Orlando a month earlier and four of us had eaten at what I thought was a good Japanese steak house but it was a little pricey, we had seven to feed this time. The hotel we stayed at also had a Japanese Steak House, but the reviews weren't very good. We were celebrating my grandsons 16th birthday. My grandson asked if we eat dinner with family at a Japanese Steak House. I choose the closest I could find to our hotel with good reviews and it was Kobe.I called to make reservations. Our table was ready at the time reserved. All the reviews are correct.Excellent. This place is an excellent value for the money. I couldn't believe how much food is served. Noodles were included with dinner, never had that included before. We had enough food served to feed even the biggest eaters in the family. It's exciting and a lot of people celebrate birthdays here. Everyone loved the service, the cooking show and the food was wonderful.

Some people steer away from the chains and I am usually one of those but an exception is made for this place. This is the best Kobe in the Orlando area. Everything is fresh, the chicken hibachi is great (which you can order at the grill or a regular table). They also have an excellent steak hibachi which you can upgrade to filet for $5 extra (I highly recommend this). They also have a nice drink selection from their bar. The restaurant is also very clean and well kept. Another fantastic restaurant in an Orlando strip mall, don’t pass this one up.

Hibachi cooked food is always fun but I left slightly disappointed after our meal - several elements were overcooked and I didn’t feel the chef provided the usual level of entertainment

This place is fantastic! Chef Zazuki is funny and does a great job. Hanna was our server, she was very attentive and friendly. This restaurant is well run, thanks to Tony. We we had shrimp and filet..everything was fresh and delicious.

We ordered 3 sushi dishes: among them, the grilled lab was delicious, the lagosta edta was warm and it was very delicious. And another 2 that had crab and fish. Too many good ones. The staff who serve and prepare the sushi are Asian.

I had an awesome time! I would probably call this my favorite restaurant. It is a great place for people in big groups, I would not really recommend this restaurant to people in groups of 2 and definitely not 1. The food is insanely good and I recommend the chicken or steak.

Worst service ever! We went to eat at the sushi bar wwhich wefrequent about once a month. Upon checking in at the host stand one girl told us to seat ours self. The a gentleman named Cory stopped her and told her he would need to check the wait time. We should have left then but we were told it would only be a 15 minute wait. Well after waiting 25 minutes a guy walks in and they immediately we eat him at the table in the sushi bar that they just cleaned off and we were waiting for. We immediately went up and spoke to Cory who then proceeds to call our name and tell us we can sit at the high top table that had been free since we got there. He then got us the manager Alma to speak to who was just as useless as he was and didn't understand why we were frustrated and upset for waiting 25 minutes for a table that was available the whole time. The sad part is that we weren't the only party who was inconvenienced by a ridiculous long wait time that night. There was another large party of 15 who was waiting 45 minutes after their reservation time. We have been going to Kobe for over 15 years but never again!

Worst Kobe I have ever been to and I am a huge Kobe fan!!!!!!! Food was terrible over seasoned and under cooked so bad I left my left over food which NEVER happens Cook was clueless and unentertaining Sad birthday meal☹️

Hirano and Mariam are the best ! They’re very entertaining and on top of their service . When will come again next time

This place used to be great about slightly over a year ago it started to go down the hill. I still gave them many chances, been there many times since hoping it would be as good as it was but didn't happen. I have been trying to figure out what it might be and literally been observing I don't know why but maybe they just use less quality ingredients than before ?? One more service was horrible, they rush you must faster out now than before literally at the same moment the chef finished the waiter stood with to go boxes. Like I said before I gave them multiple chances because it was once my favourite place, but I think I will not be going again. Service is worse every time and the food as well.

Nice atmosphere, great service and enjoyable meal. Nice portion with good price. Recommend if you’re looking for good food. We ordered and ate at a table, they have a hibachi grill too.

This was soooo good. Always great service. Yuki and Natalie were wonderful. The floor manager kept things running smoothly but we never felt rushed. Filet and shrimp and chicken was perfect

We arrived by coincidence!!!! We were looking for a place to make our Christmas dinner and we were surprised by Kobe.... We loved the experience with Jim, he was friendly and with a smile introduced us to some of the dishes of the place!!! The Chefs recommendations Kobé trio, Teriyaki chicken and a Japanesse Wayu.

Food was excellent and the chef show was awesome! Totally recommended! There was a good interaction with the chef and he tried to personalize the dish to each guest !

We were a party of 10 celebrating my daughter's 11th birthday. It was one of the best teppanyaki experiences we've ever had. We were promptly seated for our 8:30pm reservation. Our server Hein was extremely courteous and attentive always making sure everything was going well, our drinks were filled, and our table clean. When it was time for dinner the food was outstanding. The ingredients were fresh and the food was incredibly delicious. 10/10 recommend, will return.

We decided to have my sister's 50th birthday celebration in the private party room on Saturday evening. Kobe's is her favorite restaurant and the 6pm party was a total surprise to her -- everything was wonderful! We had a few folks in our group of 25 who had never visited Kobe and they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The restrooms were clean and the restaurant is a very nice size (located near a lot of hotels/easy to find). The servers were outstanding and the area was perfect! Thanks to the Kobe staff for helping my sister have a memorable 50th birthday.

We really enjoyed our visit! The food was great and so were the drinks. Definitely try a Mai Tai when you come. Shima was an awesome cook and performed some cool tricks! And, Neil, our server anticipated what we needed before we had to ask. We will be back!

Update on a favorite Japanese Steakhouse. Reservations asking for hold credit card. Seating was swift. Apps and drinks immediately. Waiter and chef courteous. Scallop dinner priced at 38$ was served with more scallops and bigger portion. Filet mignon is similar at 28$, scallops 39$. 18% upcharge included, be careful not to over tip. No additional tip registers as no tip and should say additional tip if you want to add more. Kids chicken kicked at 11 bucks. You can’t beat this restaurant best in the area for Japanese steak. We went to the Lake Buena Vista restaurant.

Great experience! Great food! Many of our first time at a Japanese Steakhouse and we felt very welcomed by the staff. Including our chef who joked with the kids and younger members of our parties.

For all the great ratings on this restaurant, I began to wonder what it was that I was missing. The cook was ok. We sat with a party of seven ladies, one that was celebrating their birthday. The onion soup for the first course was delicious. Light with a few delicate mushrooms. I would have liked to have seconds. The salad was good. The ginger dressing added fresh flavor. I would have liked to have seconds on it also. When it came to the main meal, I realized what was missing, the vegetables. I choose the 10 oz. sirloin. The cook made a huge portion of fried rice and noodles which he distributed to each of the parties plate. When it came time to serve the vegetables which were stir fried, I ended up with carrots and some onions. Apparently, you had to pay extra for premium items such as mushrooms. The stir fry vegetable were some broccoli, carrots, zucchini, and onions. One could only dream of snow peas, or any other type of vegetable. When it came time for the steak, it was tender, but lacked seasoning. I had to ask for a side of soy sauce. What made the meal somewhat disappointing besides the lack of vegetables, was not only did they give you huge amounts of rice and noodles, they also grilled red potatoes to serve with the steak!!! How much starch and carbs can one person eat?? Now I know why everyone was carrying out the leftovers. It wasn't because of the steak.

Kobe Japanese Steakhouse is definitely a wonderful restaurant! My family of four (hubby, myself, two boys) had an EXCEPTIONAL experience thanks to everyone there, especially thanks to the Chef Zazuki and the Manager Tony. A special thanks also to the hostess Kathlene and the server Clariza. They also made sure that we had an excellent experience. We felt like we received amazing service the entire time there. Zazuki and Tony went above and beyond for our family, providing us with excellent recommendations on the menu and making our boys feel like SUPER STARS while visiting this beautiful place. The food was DELICIOUS, the drinks were GREAT, and the service was REMARKABLE! Both of our boys said that this is their new favorite hibachi restaurant. We were celebrating the birthday of our youngest son and everyone made him feel very special. We are looking forward to returning for the delicious food and drinks. Many blessings to you all! Thank you for creating a special and memorable experience for us!

We went for our daughter's birthday. The food was obscenely expensive for what we got. First, there was a huge turd floating in the only toilet in their tiny, disgusting restroom. That really set the mood. Then when the food came, my medium-rare steak was way overcooked, chewy, and tasteless, the scallops were bland, and the potatoes and carrots (seriously) were nasty. Our kid's meals weren't much better and out daughter got a stomach ache. Everyone had the runs that night. Panda Express, which is terrible, would have been a far superior value and experience. Avoid like the plague!

I have visited this Restaurant several times and the food and service are incredible. The staff go out of their way to ensure an amazing experience. The chef, “Fei” was the best we’ve had so far. The spices he used to cook our food were perfect. The manager, Tony, is very attentive and always checking to ensure our experience amazing I highly recommend this Hibachi restaurant.

👏👏 had a great time. Chef was phenomenal and super entertaining. Made our random get together for our friends anniversary. They had a great time. Definitely coming back.

Visited Kobe Lake Buena Vista location on 10/18 for dinner. Been here many times previously and the outstanding customer service and food never failed for all our visits. It's greatly appreciated and easily recognized everone have to work extra hard due to all precautions and extra efforts needed to keep the customers and the staff safe. Kobe is doing a great job with this and so are all their staff. Chef Kazuki was very nice and funny. Food was great and more than plenty. Our server Clarize was very tentative and made sure drinks, food or all other requests were met. What made our dinner experience more memorable was the nice touch with nicely written Congratulations on a plate with a cupcake singing by Manager, Patrick. Another Manager, Tony was very nice and sweet as always and kept asking us whether all is fine. GM Kim was great too to make sure we were seated rightvaftercwe finished enjoying our drinks at the bar, which by the way were really good too. Although there's much more prep. work and cleaning needed due to the pandemic, all staff made sure we had a safe and wonderful dinning experience. Besides great food, it's really nice to be able to dine out with such a relaxing, entertaining and safe environment. Great job Kobe and all your staff! Thanks for providing us with such an amazing and safe dining experience despite this very challenging and unusual time for all! Definitely will return and highly recommended for others to do the same!

Wow was a fabuuuuuuuulous place, excellent food and service, staff friendly and welcoming as well as entertaining whilst cooking the food Food was perfect and all cooked in front of you Excellent quality and value for money We visited the one on International Drive and didn't find this one to be as good service wise at the bar, the chef cooking wasn't as entertaining/engaging with the group. Toilets at the one on International Drive were poor Well worth a visit and a memorable experience of our time in Florida

Amazing experience, chef was highly entertaining, food was to die for! Massive portions though and we all ordered appetisers! Lucky they supply takeaway boxes for your leftovers!

Great atmosphere from the lighting and fish ponds in lobby to the great table side habachi. Our granddaughter had never been and was thoroughly impressed with everything. We ate our fill and took food home. The service was top notch. Nice start to our mini vacay in Orlando. Florida is open.

we saw a lot of people there an wander what was in there, went in read menu n decided to go, food was great an the course was fantastic

First time at this kobe and place was good and welcoming ! So we sit down and start usually then chef comes over starts cooking now my tabel wasn't full and usually me n my bros get left overs after everyone has there food given like rice veggies n etc ! But he just kept giving extras to this one lady ???? Me and my friends were like the hell is this ??? So I thought ok next few we should get right ? Nope ! I've noticed there portions were smaller then other kobe resturants and food was meh ! Didn't seem fresh rice was eh ! Def won't be coming back to eat ! Till they up portions or learn to treat there customers with respect

We visited Kobe's on yesterday. We were a party of 5. The food was outstanding; however we were charged $16.00 for mushrooms and $ 10.00 for birthday cupcakes that we did not order! The server should have informed us of the additional charge!

Wonderful food and great service! The manager, Tony, was very accommodating and friendly. Our chef, Abe, was funny and made our delicious food! Our server, Sara, kept our drinks filled and she was very nice.

We had a brilliant time, Yama our chef was amazing the children were in awe! Very friendly staff and tony lo the manager came to see us personally to ask if our food was good and we were happy! Portion sizes large and taste amazing x

My family was in Disney for a late-night dinner that I was not a part of. I decided to grab some Sushi and this was one of the restaurants that popped up on my google search. I was only interested in eating some Sushi and heading back to my hotel. When I arrived at Kobe I asked if they had a Sushi Bar and was taken back to the bar. I sit down and was waited in immediately by Jayson. He brought me a jar of water and grabbed my drink order. He also asked if I needed any help with the Sushi menu. After deciding what Sushi I wanted I paced my order and watched Lam make my food. The Sushi came out looking great and was even decorated. The experience was great. Lam chatted with me and described what everythng was. My waiter and the Sushi chef

Two family members and myself went to dinner here and enjoyed a great meal together. The chef was friendly and showed off his many knife skills to the amazement of some younger customers seated at our table. He was very professional and courteous. The servers attended to everyone’s needs and wants in a timely manner. The food was excellent and prepared superbly! The seafood was great and the steaks were exceptional. This was a taste of “Japanese deliciousness “ as it should be. Also the sushi and sashimi appetizers were absolutely delicious. Great job and we will definitely be back again.

Tony and his team are beyond great. Kobe's has amazing portion sizes and excellent choices whether sushi or hibachi. You get the bang for you buck and even more with leftovers! Highly recommended and thank you Kobe's!

This place is so good. The food is fresh and so delicious and all the staff are very friendly. We go here twice every visit to Orlando and always request Yuki. He is such a nice man. Fantastic chef and so very friendly, especially to my son. We consider him a friend and always look forward to seeing him each visit. We have taken so many people here over the years and definitely recommend.

We had no idea where to eat on Christmas Night so we decided to try Kobe Japanese Steak House & Sushi Bar. It was very crowded (and decorated with a Harry Potter Christmas theme which my daughter loved), but we decided to wait the 45 minutes. They got us seated in 10 minutes and the rest of the night was just as smooth! The Kobe Breeze tropical drink was great, and the food was amazing! The best part of it all was the service. Our server was such a sweet lady, and our hibachi chef was hilarious. Thank you Kobe staff for a Christmas dinner away from home that made us feel right at home!

I absolutely loved Kobe’s until tonight. The service was great until I started eating my food. Chewing into my shrimp combined with my noddles I came across something crunchy. I kept chewing thinking it was just part of my food until the piece just wasn’t breaking. I took the piece out my mouth and noticed it was a piece glass. Then I kept chewing and came across 2 more pieces of glass in my food. Highly disappointed and marked. I didn’t swallow the pieces of glass but it did leave my tongue swollen and tender. I spoke to the server and she was so surprised and was trying to keep me calm. I spoke to the manger and he took care of my food but it will never change the fact that I will never see Kobe’s as my favorite restaurant. So my advice to you, be careful on what you eat here because you don’t know their safety hazards that are being shown behind doors.

This was our first visit and thoroughly enjoyed the chef cooking our meal in front of us. Food was fresh and tasty. Highly recommend.

Always a great cooking table option. Serves soup, salad, rice and pasta with vegetables and your choice of protein. Complete and delicious meal, apart from the little show made during the process of preparing the meal. Always excellent!

Best Japanese Steakhouse in the Southern United States 🇺🇸. Another thing they have the best Japanese steaks 🥩 in the South Too. Also they have the best salad 🥗 in the South too. Lastly the people who work here are very nice.

Never been to a hibachi restaurant before It Was a great experience The service and the food was excellent Would highly recommend it

There were four of us for dinner off the menu, not hibachi. I really didn't see any hibachi tableside grills unless they were in another part of the restaurant. Everything was served tableside. We ordered combination dinners with lobster, steak and shrimp. The steak had an unappealing texture, the shrimp and lobster were dry and overcooked. Service was OK, a little slow but friendly and attentive. We could have come on an "off" night because other reviewers seem to have a much different opinion.

We go to Kobe once in a while while traveling. We decided to go to the part where they do not cook in front of you more restaurant style. The funny thing about this is Kobe is a Japanese steak house but the restaurant side is called little China (Different Country). The food was good we sometimes like it better than the show. The staff was fast and friendly.

It's a really good choice for a limited sushi menu. There were the standard choices of sushi and sashimi- yellowtail, tuna, salmon etc. We had a few of the specialty rolls and they were really good- the Hamachi roll and the Spider roll were excellent. The Ultimate Tuna roll was great, the Kobe Kobachi was outstanding. The greeters were rather cavalier and assumed you were going to want the Teppanyaki. Be sure to let them know as soon as you arrive that you want sushi only if that is your choice. They won't ask you.

Potatoes with noodles and rice? Nope. That's not the way you do it. It was fun and our cook was great, but it was way too much food (and we can really put it away) and what was up with the potatoes? I got steak and scallops and it was cooked perfectly but I don't think I'd run back here. It was okay, not great.

Outstanding food, service and ambiance. The tuna sushi was fresh and expertly prepared. The menu offers a wide selection of items for guests who are not fans of sushi. An enjoyable dinner experience and will definitely return when I’m back in the area.

Fantastic experience, we sat at a shared teppanyaki table with 7 strangers, we instantly got along, the hostess took our orders , offering explanations and recommendations We were then served clear onion soup and fresh salad Our chef then began his cooking show! We both chose the land and sea selection, filet mignon, lobster and shrimp He made our egg fried rice, noodles and vegetables in front of us then cooked our meat and fish The whole thing was entertaining, super tasty and great value for money Highly recommended if you want something special

We had reservation, however the waiting time was about 5 minutes. The whole menu was awesome loved the show they gave us very entertaining. The chef was friendly Then main dish was delicious. Would highly recommend it

We had a large party (8 including kids) and it was simple to make a reservation the day before on-line. Great food. A wide variety of food options. And of course, the show on the grill. Need a break from the Mouse? This is your dinner spot!

Waitstaff was engaging and proactive. Food was good. Typical hibachi experience. We would go there again.

We had a reservation for our daughter’s bday dinner. The server and chef were friendly, personable and pleasant. Attentive to our needs. Food was delicious and portions were plenty. Atmosphere was lively. They made my daughter feel special and numerous times made a point of acknowledging it was her bday. I will definitely be back.

Just a fun place to eat. Chef Kazuki was entertaining and served up some very tasty chicken and fillet. Our server was also just wonderful and we never wanted for anything. We were seated with a very nice family from Georgia that was also celebrating a birthday. Everyone was properly masked; restaurant and bathrooms were clean. Would not hesitate to go back here. Don't forget to sign up online for your free birthday meal.

A very nicely presented birthday meal, with Annie our hostess and Yuki the chef. The food was excellent, service was great and there was a discount for our daughter's birthday. What's not to like? We recommend it highly.

Great Japanese steak house, portions were plentiful and server was very attentive. Dinner was a little pricey, but we ate our fill!

Excellent service and lots of food for the price Our group had chicken and shrimp both were very good. Friendly chef and server.

We visited for dinner on 1/16/21 and it was a perfect meal. We were not interested in sitting at the hibachi and when we arrived we were asked if we had a reservation. As soon as I explained we did not want to sit at the hibachi, were seated immediately in a very private booth in a separate dining area which was very nice. Keep in mind we arrived shortly after they opened but even as we left only a few tables had been filled in that area but lots of people were going back to the hibachi dining area so reservations are a good idea. Our server was very attentive and provided great service. I ordered a Spicy Tuna roll and one thing to note is they could not accommodate my request for soy paper for my roll which was odd because it's the first place I have ever been to that does not do that. But the presentation was beautiful and the roll was delicious. I got the 10-piece shrimp teppanyaki and it was awesome! Actually, it was the best Japanese food I've ever had. The shrimp were large and tender with a garlic flavor. The veggies included mushrooms, broccoli, onions, zucchini and carrots. The fried rice was phenomenal, the noodles were cooked perfectly and the soup and salad was great as well. In fact, everything seems to be cooked in something based in garlic which I thought gave everything a nice flavor. The prices seem to be consistent with every other Japanese steakhouse I have visited. They do automatically charge an 18% gratuity regardless of the size of the party which actually made it easier when it came time to pay. Some people seem to have a real problem with tipping, so be warned if you don't like to do it. Also, this location is situated in a strip-mall so be mindful that parking may be a challenge. We will certainly be back for our next visit to Orlando!

Better than Benihana. Customer service amazing! Miriam was an amazing server! Lots of food and very flavorful from the beginning to end!

came here looking for a good Sushi! I thought this would be something great base on the reviews :( sadly was less than a sushi track type and very disappointed :( will never return to this place!

The most unique dinner experience with fire and a show to compliment great food. Go hungry because you will leave very full. Free fried rice and rice spaghetti is a real treat. They serve sushi too but the hibachi is my style.

Food was excellent to say the least which is the most important thing when it comes to a meal, Chino is an outstanding chef. However, there is more to this restaurant than just the brilliant cuisine. We had a party of 21 with 4 different cheques, which can be confusing, however they were very accommodating and took no time in resolving this. Finally the service was brilliant, and Tony the manager is a top bloke, will definitely try to return in the future if my travel plans let me!

Today was our first time of dining at Kobe Japanese Restaurant. The Service was excellent. The Waiter, Mike, did a great job. Our Chef, Kazuki, was hilarious and the best chef. The food was tasty and perfectly cooked. He made our visit an unforgettable one. The Manager, Tony, had a great rapport with customers checking with us to make sure that we had a great experience. We will go back there again before we leave Orlando. Thank you guys. See you soon.

Pretty simple set-up, staff was very friendly, Koi ponds are absolutely unacceptable for animal health!!!!!, no introduction on how cooking flow works hence far too much food in a short amount of time, salmon was frozen instead of fresh, sushi was very nice.

Every time I visit the Orlando area I have dinner at Kobe and I am never disappointed. This it one of the best Japanese hibachi restaurants I have ever been to.

Hien our chefs assistant was awesome! He was so funny!! We loved him! Food was fresh and delicious!!

Such a great experience, the chef Kazuki was just awesome with his fun personality. Our waitor Mykhel was attentive and packaged all our leftovers to take home. Overall my best experience in this restaurant.

First experience for us in this establishment and we were delighted, both by the quality of the food and by the welcome of the staff, the quality of the service and the Chef Show. All this in a very beautiful atmosphere. We highly recommend this place

Fun, entertaining. So much food. Delicious. Fun experience, but pricey. Staff was attentive and friendly. Constantly refilling our drinks. Cool tables seat 8 people (we were 6 guests, so 2 strangers were added to the table). Loud environment.

Great job - amazing good TONY LO came over made sure we had an amazing experience :) always one of my favorite spots in Orlando

Amazing food!! The comedy was great the cooking was evening better! Absolutely love this place 10/10 Toro was amazing with the tricks and such 🙌🏻🔥

We went during happy hour and when we were seated had to ask for the happy hour menu (appears they don’t offer it if you don’t ask). Sushi came fresh to order -tasted good, but was a bit too saucy for my liking.

Very large place where the dining room staff is dressed in typical Japanese clothes, while the kitchen moves to the table. They seat you around a table for about 10 people in the center of which there is a griddle where the chef prepares the dishes live and often jokingly displays them. All delicious and plentiful, so much so that you ask if you want to take home what you don't eat. The price is very high, but the quality and the chef's show are worth it. As some would say... the show alone is worth the trip, BB's word 😆

We have enjoyed this restaurant on previous visits but not so much this time. The food was nicely cooked and very tasty- steak and seafood ,however prices were not clear on the menu -advise checking these carefully. Miso soup served initially followed by a salad then rice and noodles well in advance of the steak , shrimp etc - I would wait and have altogether and probably miss the soup and salad . The restaurant has a party atmosphere if course but celebrations include very loud noisy drums - we had enough of the noise and left quite quickly without checking the bill closely over $300 for 4 - on looking closely someone else’s meal had been added to our bill. Did not really have time to go back. Check your bill carefully.Shame as soured a nice experience .

Well, what can I say about this place. We’ve been here almost two weeks and been to some great places and some bad ones. This place tops the pile. A family of 8. We were seated quickly after going to the bar for a drink. Then the fun started. The kids and adults alike loved it . The menu is simple, basically you choose your protein for a set price. You then get soup, some salad, fried rice, noodles and veg inc. in the price of the protein all cooked on a hot plate in front of you . A fab experience. We had a couple who joined us at the table whom we also got to know. There is not much more I can say other than it was incredible from start to finish. I’m gutted I can’t remember the name of our host or our chef, I promised myself I would but then the wine started flowing. Adults, young , children, teens, all loved it. The prices are very very good for what you actually get. We ordered some sushi and others starters which we absolutely didn’t need to leave full but it was a nice thing to do and each one was fab. If you’re thinking of booking, stop… leave this review and go and book, immediately. Totally totally fabulous . Thank you from the UK contingent.

Caleb was an excellent host and in the job ! Very much should keep him ... Great great food and beautiful fish..

Always entertaining dinner show - food very good - laughs for sure - lots of food - cooking in front of you on a hot plate / birthday cake for free

We had a nice lunch date on a Sunday and were the first ones to arrive at noon. The hostess was a little slow but it was understandable since they had just opened the doors for the day. We were seated and drinks delivered. The atmosphere was very nice and quiet even with other large groups nearby. We got our soup and salads and they were both very nice. I ordered the chicken and shrimp and my wife ordered steak and shrimp. Both meals were outstanding. The chef put on a nice show for our table and made it a little extra special since we had a few people celebrating birthdays. For the amount of food we got, the price was surprisingly low. We tried to compare it with Makoto and I think they are pretty much the same.

I only visit this type of restaurant for the show, so I knew what to expect going in. The food is usually mediocre and this restaurant proved to be no exception, but I enjoyed the chef's antics and silly jokes. Service was quite good and I left happy and satisfied. Will visit again next time I'm in the mood!

We went in pretty late and they were able to accommodate us. That was really nice. Our party of four was directed to a table with another couple. One person from our group has allergies and it was communicated very well. She picked the gluten-friendly chicken fried rice meal and she enjoyed it immensely. Tony, the manager checked on us a lot to make sure we had a great dining experience. The chef, Yuki, delivered an entertaining teppanyaki performance. We cannot complain about the food portions. We all had doggie bags of full meal sizes when we left. Miriam, the server made sure we had everything we needed, including refills for our beverages. They asked if there was any celebrations and we mentioned a birthday coming up. Tony, the manger, came towards the end and amused us with happy birthday songs in English and Japanese! I’ve never heard it in Japanese. We had great fun! The meal was scrumptious and a very good value for the portions and the entertainment. These people know what they’re doing. Will definitely recommend to people and come back next time I’m in town.

Orlando is our favorite place to visit. Traveling there so frequently, we have our usual spots that we have come to love over the years. We are adding the Kobe Japanese Steakhouse to that list! This was definitely different from our norm, but we enjoyed it so much. The food was excellent and the teppanyaki was wonderful. I felt he truly wanted to make sure we were satisfied. We will definitely visit again!

We look forward to dining here each time we visit. The food was great and the staff friendly, but so short handed it impacted the visit.

Booked this place for New years to make it a special dinner. We were not disappointed. Our server Yoku was very pleasant and our chef YUKI was fantastic, friendly, charismatic, cooked the food perfectly and chatted whilst cooking. He even remembered us from a visit years ago and remembered that my son liked extra rice, this chef is a credit to the Kobe We will always return to see Yuki. If you are looking for great food with a little entertainment, this is a must place. Can not fault a thing.

We had a wonderful experience here for New Year’s! The food was delicious and plentiful, the service was outstanding and the chef put on a great show. Come hungry as there was so much to eat! Our table tried several different dishes, such as the steak, shrimp, chicken, and scallops and all were fantastic! Each selection came with soup, salad, fried rice, vegetables, noodles and meat. The kids and adults all enjoyed their meals! I highly recommend Kobe!

Food was delicious and chef very entertaining! The lobster & chicken were absolutely delicious! Kid-friendly.

Absolutely delightful restaurant. The food is delicious. The service is wonderful. I have recommended this place numerous times. We have been there many times ourselves and have always had as awesome experience.

By far the most entertaining and fun evening was our family visit to Kobe in Orlando. We enjoyed the food preparation and meal at one of the most elegant restaurants in Central Florida (my opinion). Although we had three young children in our party of eight, we were each given the same quantity and quality of food. We will definitely return to enjoy another wonderful, entertaining meal in the land of Mickey Mouse.

Great food and service. Little expensive but definitely worth it for any kind of special occasion or date night.

Eddie Tan and the server Lan always made sure we were ok and made the visit very funny. The food was great and our drinks kept coming.

This was our youngest child's first experience with a Japanese Steak House. It was a wonderful time! The chef was engaging and very talented, the food was delicious and plentiful. It ain't cheap, but you get what you pay for. Well worth the occasional splurge.

We went to Kobe the last evening of our vacation and we were very pleasantly surprised! The restauranat was close to our hotel and the staff - server Mariam, Chef Tho, and Manager Tony were very accomodating. They seated us right away. The food was great, experience was fun. We really enjoyed it!!

Wonder time. The cook was great. Very nice presentation. My Salmon was good and my grandson said his chicken was melt in your mouth good. The manger Tony came to talk to us. Very good all around.

The quality of the food and service seems to have drop some. Place isn't a crowded as it use to be. Possible do to the food and service.

The best hibachi in my opinion. Food and service is always great, we eat at Kobe every time we visit Orlando. Eat twice on our recent trip, once on the early bird offer 5-6pm and once on the after 9pm menu. Make sure you sign up for Kobe rewards

excellent food and brilliant chef entertaining you whilst he cooks your meal. i had teriyaki chicken which was so nice. you get a strter of salad and a bowl of onion soup. both lovely. i would 100% recommend giving this place a try. for a family of 4 it cost about $120 including tip.

Brought our children and grandchildren (3 and 5) for dinner and everyone loved the food and the entertainment! The grandkids laughed and were wide eyed through the entire cooking experience. Dave was our server and Yuki was our chef. Both were very good. Yuki was very creative and funny. Would highly recommend.

Go! We went last minute on a whim due to inclement weather rolling in. We were searching for something fun to do with toddlers instead of sitting in the room to wait out the storm. This place was wonderful! We made reservations online for 6:30. We were seated within 10 minutes of arriving. They have a really cute fish pond inside our girls gushed over. The food was so good! I personally ordered steak and shrimp. Abel (our cook) was super nice. We got double rice and no noodles. However, our girls loved them! About $10 more per person that our local hibachi restaurants.

Delicious food, friendly staff, short waiting time for food, great service. Will come back definitely again.

Haven’t been to one of these in years. 11 yr old granddaughter loved it. Food, service and knife twirling chef were all great. Even the house fried rice, cooked right before your eyes was good. Prices are high so be prepared.

One of the best sushi we ever had. All fresh made with awesome taste. Nothing to add beside just keep going. We ordered for pick up. Yummy!!!

This is an amazing restaurant in Orlando. Great food and wonderful team. Thanks to the host: Clarie, Chef: Kazaki and Manager: Tony.

Visited with friends while vacationing in Orlando. Arrived 1/2 hour early for our reservation and they took us right in. Our Server Dave was prompt and very attentive. Our Chef was very entertaining and did an awesome job. The food was cooked well and very tasty. The manager, Tony came by to talk to us after our meal to make sure all was good. We all enjoyed our visit and would come back again.

Had a 6:30 reservation through Open Table, arrived at 6:20 and we were seated at 7:10 While waiting we had two draft beers and a bottle of Bud $20.70. Food was extremely good, chef put on a great show. I've been to Kobi's before in other cities and the pricing hereis way out of line, it;s a let's rip off the tourists.

I love Kobe! It's a great hibachi experience and you always leave stuffed. Their chefs are always amazing and put on quite the show, whether it's making volcanoes out of onions, making eggs "roll", throwing food into their hats, or doing awesome chopping tricks. It's awesome to watch the food being cooked right in front of you, and it's delicious. No matter which entree you order, you get clear onion soup, veggies, fried rice, and lo mein. They also have the best sauce ever, yum yum sauce. I always ask for double sauce and bathe my food in it lol. The only downside with this style of cooking is that you leave smelling like the food because it's being cooked right in front of you. It is a loud environment, so probably not for those who have sensitive sensory overload issues. It's also casual in that if you go in a small group, you will get seated with other families. There are about 9 or 10 seats per chef's station, and they will fill the stations up. They also have a great assortment of sushi and other Japanese sides/appetizers, like spring rolls, rangoons, etc.

We had a good meal at an affordable price. The staff were excellent, the chef was excellent and the food was good. We liked the decor and the coy fish in the waiting area.

Always delicious and plenty of food. VERY loud with the banging of drums for birthday songs though. The filet was so tender it melted in my mouth.

Service was fast, staff was kind, food was excellent. The manager Tony did an incredible job making sure we were taken care of.

Susan was our server, Tony the manager, and Taro (?) the cook! The service and food was AMAZING. Definitely recommend.

Hidden Gem off Palm Parkway. This Japanese Steakhouse is an excellent place to have a nice dinner and celebrate a special occasion. The atmosphere is fun and entertaining. The food is fresh, cooked to order and very flavorful. The service was 5 stars plus. I highly recommend the sirloin steak and shrimp or hibachi chicken with shrimp. The portions are large and not skimpy in any way Prices are reasonable for what you get with your meal.

My son chose this restaurant to celebrate his graduation from UCF. We did not have reservations but were pleasantly surprised to be seated within 30 minutes. The restaurant was clean and modern in style. Our chef was personable and entertaining and the food was the best I have ever tasted at a Japanese Steakhouse...cooked to perfection. The service was excellent too! They knew we were celebrating a graduation and treated my son to dessert and a chef’s hat. I was very impressed and would definitely recommend!

Food was plentiful and delicious. Service was excellent. My only complaint was there was a lot of noisy kids. I blame the parents for that not the restaurant for that

I have tried many resturants of this type and I have to say this one is on my good list. I liked that they serve the salad in front of you. In my opinion, the only item I didn't like is that they serve to much noodles. I did not know they were going to serve noodles; next time I will just tell them to skip them.

One of our favorite place in Orlando. When we’re in town for Disney . Delicious food and friendly staff with great customer service

Arrived at 9pm . Very few in the restaurant. Very rushed experience as they obviously wanted to finish up early . Food average . When we went to pay both cards that we presented were rejected . Obviously their machine wasn’t working but the manager was called over and we were made feel it was our fault . My daughter used her Apple Pay and all ok . But no apology . Not a good final dining experience for our last night in Orlando .

We really enjoyed eating here. My husband got the Sumo sampler and was not disappointed. Our cook was so fun and entertaining and we will definitely be back.

We visited here with our whole family (14 in total) They were so accommodating with the children and the food was absolutely amazing! Our chef was Yama and he was so funny and lovely! Manager was Tony and he was equally as lovely. Would definitely come back here! Food 10/10 Service 10/10

We had a great time here to start the New Year! The chef was fun to watch and the food was delicious. We made a reservation online and were seated very quickly. The service was great. After the meal, the manager came to check on everything. I recommend this restaurant. It’s a favorite when we visit Orlando. We always look forward to this experience and we are never disappointed.

Usually my friends and I go for special occasions. Tonight I was just craving hibachi. This was one of my best visits here. They were able to seat me right away and our server Connie was the best server I've had in my 6 years of visiting various Kobe restaurants in the area. Our chef, Tri, had to deal with several special orders and did so with a smile.
Great experience
Reservation for 7:00, was seated at 7:05. Great wait staff and chef. Food was delicious and chef Koji kept us laughing. Some reviews say they were rushed. Not the case for my group of six. Very relaxed atmosphere. Will visit again in the future.
