We had 2 dinners here. After the first one we loved it so much we cancelled a reservation elsewhere to return to Koko's. The Frida cocktail was delicious as were the entrees we ordered both nights. The chef created memorable mole sauces with subtle and exciting flavors. We live in Arizona and are very familiar with similar cuisines. Koko's broadened the flavor palate in an imaginative and satisfying way. This restaurant is fabulous. Service was great and prices reasonable for the quality offered. Thank you Koko's!!

We love Koko's! With the closure of Barrio and Mezcaleria Oaxaca, options for Mexican cuisine on Capitol Hill are more limited these days, and Koko's is a welcome addition. The staff is friendly and attentive, and are quick to take your drink and food orders. They have a great cocktail menu, starting with the house Margarita, with a wide selection of tequilas and mezcals. Food options are wide-ranging, and all are good to excellent. Love the guacamole here - and the house salsa. Tacos are really tasty although only 2 come per order, which is different from other places in town. Prices are on the high side although this is not surprising for Seattle these days. Overall this place is worth a visit, and you may find me here as we have been several times and consider ourselves 'regulars.'

Fabulous evening. The food was exceptional as was our server Freddie. Nothing was too much trouble for him. The Restaurant had a great vibe the food was thoughtfully curated and we had a very special evening. Thank you Ko Kos

We tried Koko's restaurant today for the first time. We loved the decor and it reminded me a lot of our last trip to Mexico. The drink menu was very cool. There were artistic renditions of each of the drinks on the menu and I had the Frida which was delicious. We opted for the chips and salsas plus guacamole for our appetizer. The green salsa was our favorite! Smoky with a touch of heat. The chips are made in house and slightly thicker than average but perfect for the guacamole and didn't overpower the salsas. My husband got the fish tacos for his main course and he said they were some of the best he's ever had which is a pretty strong statement from a native Washington guy. I had the poblano cashew enchiladas stuffed with prawns. It was simply amazing. I had enough for leftovers the next day! Our server Jonathon was charming and gave us great advice when we were trying to decide what to pick. We will definitely be back again soon!
One and done
This place is overpriced and the service is not great. Also, we got seated way past our reservation time. Disappointing!
