This is the first time me and my family have eaten there and it was great. The staff was nice and the food was super. You absolutely can't beat Bulgogi and kimchi I will for sure go there again for sure.

We were greeted as soon as we walked in. The staff was friendly and service was quick. The first thing someone in our group mentioned was the "high prices." Having cooked Korean food all of my life, I mentioned the long hours put into preparing Korean meals. Our group ordered chicken bulgogi, beef bulgogi and ribs. Everything, including the banchan, was excellent. We were all happy and satisfied.

I had never had Korean food and wanted to give it a try for lunch while I was in Dallas for a convention. The wonderful gentleman that waited on me was so kind and attentive. The food was delicious and there so much of it! I wish I could remember what I had but it was a noodle dish. The sides were good with some unexpected flavors. I wish I knew what they were so I could potentially find them at home in SC. The prices were fantastic for the amount of food and quality. After my meal, the gentleman went above and beyond and walked me to my car with an umbrella because it was pouring the rain. Unbelievable! If I’m ever back in Dallas, it’ll be my first meal stop! Thank you to everyone that was working that day.

This is the best Korean Resturant in DFW. I've lived in South Korea before and this restaurant is where you want to go If you want authentic Korean food. The waitresses are awesome and very helpful to suggest side orders that are very tasty. If you want a real Korean experience and not a Korean BBQ restaurant do yourself a favor and come here.

I was here for late lunch. Ordered bibimbap and chefs special volcano sushi. The bibimbap was good but the sushi was horrible. The waiter doesnt check on us much. We had to call him a few times. The food takes forever to arrive once you place the order.

We've been going to this place for 20 yrs. Always great food! If you see natives eating there all these years, you know the place is legit.🍱

Located right at the SW corner of Royal Lane and Harry Hines Blvd., this is a nice restaurant for cooked yourself Korean BBQ, as well as fresh sushi and also cooked Korean/Japanese dishes. Attentive service.

Very authentic Korean food ... the “real-thing” ... NOT “Americanized”. Excellent seafood dishes. Seafood soups are outstanding. Not so scary neighborhood anymore as upper Harry Hines has “evolved”. Terrific sushi & sashimi ... get their large platters and split between 2-3 of you for a meal. Still think that skipping the BBQ-tables is a good idea. Over the decades dining here, never a bad meal - but, many great ones. Plus, when I bring out-of-town visiting Korean friends - they to a person have highest regards for this place. Long since gone from Dallas, but always visit Korea House when in town. It’s a “sure bet”.

We are not very experienced in Korean cuisine so our server suggested the sampler dinner for two. They brought out 14 plates! Tried things I have never had before. It was delicious and only $47.99. Great value.

Korea House offers probably the best Korean cuisine in Dallas, and the Japanese dishes and sushi ain't bad either. Sushi sets are pretty much as good as in many decent Japanese restaurants in Dallas. It's lunch sets and combos are of excellent value, especially suschi combos such as Eel (Unagi) Sushi bento box. All meats are good, too, for instance Spicy Short Ribs. There's also a long list of hot and cold soups and meals in sizzling bowls. Dinner is clearly more expensive, but still of good value. Most of the regular portions are very good, but for dinner time I prefer Korea House's BBQ where you select meats to grill at the table. Ingredients are fresh and tasty, and the personnel assists as much as you want. Highly recommended, especially for lunch or for BBQ dinner with friends!

Went to eat at the Korean House with my date. I ordered a soup dish and she ordered a meat dish. When the check came, the price for the soup dish was more than the price listed on the menu, by about $3. I called the waiter over and pointed this out to him. He said on the weekends, the prices are more than what is listed on the menu. I told him this was a bait-and-switch and I was not going to pay more than the price listed on the menu. He got mad about this but I told him I was not going to pay a higher “weekend price” that was not advertised. He changed the ticket and I paid the price that was on the menu. What a scam! I will never go back to the Korean House again.

Great Korean food. Fun to watch native-Koreans eat here. Gusto is an understatement. Authentic and really great traditional Korean dishes. Scary neighborhood. While better today than 20 years ago ... But, advise going in the daytime. Skip the table-top BBQ. Their seafood dishes are a genuine step-above. Surprisingly good sushi & sashimi - both fresh as can be.

Me and my wife went to this restaurant on our wedding anniversary. The Korean food my wife had was pretty good but the "flat fish" I ordered was really not much to write home about. The wine selection was...Actually there was nothing to choose from - only Chardonnay. I ordered a Sapporo and it was as close to water as you can get. Overall we were satisfied with the food and the price.

What an amazing experience and delicious meal! The staff was so friendly and super helpful. I have only eaten Korean food once before and needed a lot of guidance. My meal was so fantastic - I will eat here again next time I am in town.

This is the best authentic Korean food in DFW. Every dish is delicious and all the different types of kimchi is fantastic. I lived in Korea off and on for 5 years and this is the place to go if you want good food. The waitresses are fantastic too. They are always friendly and they never leave you wanting anything. They will even suggest dishes for you to try.

Great Place! We stopped in for lunch but had dinner and it was delicious. Everything was so good. Definitely coming back. The staff are also very friendly!

A Korean-American friend of mine told me Korea House is a good place to get good Korean food. I've been a couple times only, and each time it has been just ok. But full disclaimer, I'm not a Korean food connoisseur and haven't been exposed to much of it like I have other Asian foods. The service is very friendly and it has a mix of Koreans and non-Koreans dining there. The servers I have had are attentive and sometimes English-challenged, but always polite. The menu has a fairly large selection of Korean fare but they also have sushi. I haven't tried the sushi, just the dumplings and the noodle dishes. The dumplings were good but I ordered steamed and would be much better crispy (I think they recommend them crispy anyway). There is really only 1 or 2 noodle dishes that are served hot. I had the first one on the list and it had flavor, veggies and either mini-shrimp or chicken. The dish was decent but nothing to write home about. Much of the other fare on the menu I thought was pricey, in the $20 range for many of the meat dishes like Korean BBQ. I haven't tried those but I get the vibe that those are the things you should be eating there that are delicious. My limited experience hasn't been overly impressed but I want to try the real deal items that they are known for.

We wanted to try some new food out . We got a dinner for 2 - enough for 3-4 . Lots side dishes to try. Some I liked and and some I didn't. My husband liked it a lot, he enjoyed the kimchee. All staff were polite and helpful.

We have been to this restaurant several times and have enjoyed it every time. I can definitely recommend the Pajun (potatoes pancake) and the Bim Bim Bap Dolsat-- Rice, Vegetables, and beef in a hot stone pot. Have some Hite (Korean Beer) and enjoy the evening. Service can be a little inconsistent but they have always been polite.

The best authentic Korean food I’ve had in awhile. The food and service was excellent!!! I knew I was in the right place when I saw all the local Koreans eating there!

Drove by this place on my way to airport and decided to stop by. I live in NJ and am pretty familiar with Korean food. I ordered the spicy cold noodle as an appetizer. I liked it. For entree, I ordered the grilled mackerel fish, which is a staple dish in north Asia. They served three decent sized fish and I was happy with it. With the entree came with a few (maybe five-six) Korean side dishes. I found it a bit on the sour side -- the kimchi is sour and so was the seaweed. There is nothing wrong with them being sour; it's more of a personal taste. When kimchi tastes sour it means that they have fermented for longer than the not-so-sour kind. Service was good and attentive. The waitress wanted to make sure that I get enough side dish to eat with the entree but I declined since they are not really on par with my personal taste. Nothing to complain. The charge on the food is on par with the food I got. Everything gets a 3-star rating since it is just expected.

While staying in the area, we decided to try Korea House. We loved the food and the service and could find nothing to complain about, a rare thing. Our service was fast and friendly with no language problems. Our group shared a number of entrees family style and found them to be very flavorful and good sized portions. There were some condiments that we especially enjoyed, and without asking, more was brought to our table for us to enjoy. It's not cheap food, but you definitely get your money's worth.

Nice place. Service was very pleasant. Food was ok. our meal was cooked on table top. would have been better is cooking surface was much hotter. meats slowly cooked were not grilled.

I am currently sitting in the middle of the restaurant FUMING because of the horrific service! When we walked in the establishment we were greeted and taken to our seats, our hostess brought us drinks (mine was incorrect). After surveying the menu, and several questions to our waiter about the food, he walked off so that we could discuss exactly what to order. When he came back, he rolled his eyes at more questions. We ordered, and he left. We were brought our food at separate times, and I took TWO BITES of my tempura udon. There was no flavor and I asked to exchange it. My waiter told me "No, we don't do that." And, we then asked for the manager. She came over and asked what was wrong with the food. I told her "there was no flavor, it was bad tasting and I was not going to eat it, or pay for it." Shortly, she said "what do you want." I asked for a menu again to see what my options were, and she hovered over me, and asked "WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO IF YOU DONT LIKE THE SECOND ONE, SEND IT BACK?" I (thankfully) did not hear that, however my companion did (I was agitated and not paying any attention to the female manager). I declined to order anything else and sat while my friend finished her meal. The original waiter never came back to check on us (more so, her), we had to waive him down to pay for her meal. I am highly vexed, and WILL ABSOLUTELY NEVER COME BACK. AVOID!!

This is some of the best Korean food since I lived in Korea years ago. It's authentic, tasteful and high quality! The service is excellent and the atmosphere is very nice. I will definitely return and I look forward to many more visits and bringing my friends!

Always very fast service and great food. I've never tried the sushi but it looks good when other people get it. The Bulgogi is great, tender, flavorful and served with all the sides. Never tried any of the wine so I can't comment on it, as well as the "flat fish". I have NEVER been charged more than the menu prices, no mater when I go in.

Best Korean food in Dallas. The staff is amazing too. If you want an amazing experience with a good atmosphere this is the place

Korea House is one of my favorites. They have great sushi and Korean food, with menus and helpful staff to guide the uninitiated, though half the place is usually filled with Koreans. I have only eaten there at lunch, but their lunch menu is quite extensive and they usually have specials. I would come for dinner if it were not across town from my home.

My wife and I like Korean Food and even fix some dishes at home. We had a business meeting here that served the gut splitting 15 course traditional Korean Dinner. The dinner comes with choices for different main dishes. We had the Galbi Jungsik which is Beef Short Ribs. Each course is so good that you have to not eat too much and save room for the absolutely delicious main course at the end. The courses included glass noodles, fried shrimp, friend assorted vegetables, kimchi, a couple different kinds of rice with different ingredients mixed in and at least a half dozen items we are not sure of. There were no unpleasant taste surprises, everything was very tasty and the ribs were the crowning glory. If you have never had Korean food this is the way to go. If you like Korean food you will most likely find a few new tastes to add to your selection choices.

Where to begin? If you are a dabbler in Korean food or a knowledgeable foodie of Korean cuisine or if you simply just like trying new foods, PLEASE try Korea House. Portions are large and meant to be shared, though I've had a few dishes that were so good, I couldn't help but eat most of it myself. I have always been a fan of Bibim Bab in any form, Dolsat or otherwise. I have never been disappointed and the free "appetizers" or meal accompaniments are always tasty and generally include, fish cake, pickles, kimchi, bean sprouts, spicy potato and a few other things. Regular dishes we order: Spicy Bulgogi (rich spicy, sticky sauce) = thin sliced prime rib Bibim Naengmyun= meat, vegetables, boodles and a hot spicy sauce Pa Jun = gigantic pancake full of amazing savory flavors Duk Bokki= rice cake with bulgolgi Yes all of it is tasty, very flavorful and even surprising to me, things I never thought I would eat are very tasty that sometimes I just crave that unique flavor. the wait staff is nice but sometimes a bit sassy, which I think adds to the experience :) never rude though. They also have a full bar. I won't say this place is cheap, but for the portions you get and the amount of freebies you get well worth it.

This was the first time that I was having Korean BBQ and to my amazement, it was so yummy. The restaurant is hidden in a strip mall but very clean and the food is excellent. Our waiter was quick on his feet and was right there when we needed something. The lettuce wraps were a hit with my kids (who don't like anything). Great place to eat and excellent service. Highly recommend!

Spending a day on Harry Hines in Dallas shopping can be taxing! Finding a great place to eat however, is as simple as a stop at the Korea House! Excellent food and service with a comfortable atmosphere delivery just the right thing for weary shoppers! If you've never tried Korean food - make this a MUST on your list the next time you are in the area.

I come here all the time. My dad has been eating here for 20 years. The waitress is very friendly. She remembers just about everyone. We usually order the same thing Everytime we go in, dak gui and a small bottle of wine. She doesn't even have to ask anymore. They greet you in Korean and teach you some of the standard dining traditions. If you do know hey will explain it. They even try to teach my dad how to say certain things. The sides are served family style on the open stove top tables. They also offer a full sushi menu. There is a private party room too. If you love Korean food or want to try something new you should go. But be aware that you will get hooked on this please because the food is fantastic and the service is impeccable.

This is a great place to experience traditional Korean food. It has become one of our go to restaurants when we are in Dallas. The service and food are consistently good. They are open until 11:00 pm on Thursday, Friday and Saturday nights. Both Korean and Japanese specialties are offered and a full bar is also available. Korean main dishes (We love the Dol Sat Bimbim bop) are served with six vegetable side dishes. The spicy pickled cucumbers are excellent! I can recommend this restaurant and I will return again.

This is as good as it gets, I had lunch here, Bulgo-Ki, it comes with all nice side dishes. It is very busy place but everything was on time and served the way it suppose to be.I had Chap-Che as well. Please make sure to ask all the side dishes that comes with main course, this way one will have the full experience.I am repeating customer here.

Great service and great food. We will be back! It was our first time. The wait staff was very helpful when we asked what is recommended. It was a lot of food!

This is by far the best Korean food in DFW. The ladies that work there are amazing and always helpful and eager to please. I've lived in Korea before and this is the real thing. If you want authentic Korean food do yourself a favor and stop by and give yourself a treat.
