Late Night Eats

By Eric A |

Krung Siam is in the Las Vegas 'Chinatown' area off of Spring Mountain a couple blocks off of the Strip. They offer some excellent Thai cuisine. the real appeal of this place is the hours they keep. Krung Siam is open from 11am through the night until 6am. It is a perfect 'post game' spot after a night out on the strip.

Why is everyone OBSESSED with this Thai restaurant?

By Dwight |

Las Vegas has no shortage of great Thai restaurants, but Krung Siam Thai is a true standout. This family-owned gem, established in 2009, brings the heart and soul of Thailand to the city with its rich flavors and warm hospitality. Their menu is packed with bold, authentic dishes, from fragrant curries to expertly crafted stir-fries. I had the Salmon Panang, which was as delicious as expected, but my date’s Grilled Canoe Bone Marrow was the real showstopper—tender, flavorful, and absolutely unforgettable. With its inviting atmosphere and dedication to tradition, Krung Siam Thai isn’t just a place to eat—it’s a full-on culinary experience. If you’re craving Thai food in Vegas, this spot is a must-visit!

Restaurant is open till morning -never seen anywhere- before-awesome

By saisriorl |

Our Program was so late and we could go and eat this Thai restaurant so late. this was recommended by our people who work in the Bar and restaurant. They have so much varieties in Spring Roll - these fresh ones were liked by my entire family. i could bring all the way from LV to MCO..what an amazing. there was no issues. Some of the Salads they give as a side was awesome- my family loved it. Sometimes we have to speak their language, which is tough i guess:) Just kidding. otherwise it was so late and this is the best closest to Fairfield Inn near Mandalay resort or Dean Martin -.. Please check out-. One great thing they are open so late . I dont think anywhere you can find such thing.

Thai Restaurant in Las Vegas

By Mehroo B |

Very centrally located restaurant near the Strip in Las Vegas. Food is just excellent. Quantity and price are just the right. For people loving spicy food like Indian this will be a good change.

Very good Thai food, off the strip

By UKCouple1985 |

We stayed at the Luxor and fancied some 'non-commercialised' Thai food. We found this. It was only a 3 miles drive from the Luxor parking lot. Food is great. Staff are also very catering. I think they're open until like 5:30am also. If you're after some Thai food, give this place a try.

Good late night dining

Friends recommended this as the go-to for Thai. Good place for late night eats. Easy to get to, Good Service, Value for $$ No one goes home hungry after their order arrives. Pho Bowls were huge and full of tasty treats!

Dog food tastes better!

By Leahbaby1981 |

I've had dog food that tastes better than this crap they serve, trying to pass it off as edible food. Absolutely disgusting! Very very poor customer service. Our company ordered from here. They took our food clear across town to the wrong place to drop it off so by the time it got to us, it was cold. Not only that, the entire order was just plain disgusting!! They didn't take the or tails off any of the seafood, so the seafood rice was crunchy from the flakes of shell, the shrimp still had the tails on, but was burried under toppings so you had to get your fingers greasy and nasty and dirty in order to peel the tails off, all the food was delivered in separate bags because the food was dripping grease and was already sitting in a flood of grease in the bags. We were all absolutely disgusted! How they can serve this crap and people actually eat it is beyond me! So we called back to complain and they didn't care. They did nothing to rectify the situation. So we will never eat food from here again, nor will we recommend it to anyone. I wouldn't even feed this crap to starving dogs!!!

Loved the live band and great food

By Kaira C |

Decided to come here for dinner as we drove past it. We didn't expect much but we were blown away by the good food, the atmosphere and the service. Loved that they have a live band that you can enjoy listening to while eating the amazing food they serve. This restaurant is a must-place to go to when in Vegas!

Just Okay Nothing Great

By 2Travelers43 |

We ate late and we were the only ones eating a dinner meal the other 6-8 people were at the bar drinking but we decided to stay anyway because it was rated a 4 on Trip Advisor. Husband ordered the Green Curry Chicken and I ordered the Eggplant with Chicken. Again it was average and nothing really special. Our waiter was kind and bowed several times to us.

อร่อยมากค่ะ

Yummy!

By Jessica B |

We originally set out to go to another Thai place off the strip (I don't recall the name) and our Uber driver recommended this place due to the original place having some recent health code violations. It was great! I loved the pad thai! The only downfall was they opened at 11:30am so we had to wait for a bit but they have a nice starbucks right next door so it worked out! they do not have the mango sticky rice so if you want that, you're out of luck! ( or at least they didn't when I went)

Inconsistent. Avoid ordering take out.

By chocolatelover3 |

I went to this restaurant twice, once for take out and once for dine in. Both times I ordered the papaya salad with shrimp. The dine in was very flavorful with fresh hot chili peppers and little dried shrimp mixed throughout. The take out was bland, much less spicy (I ordered a ten), and had grilled shrimp on top of it.

Excellent Thai!

By steveschrum |

In Vegas for a conference, I needed to get away from the Strip for a non-touristy place. Sure, there are playing cards decorating the front entrance, but once you get past that, you are a world away from the usual. A former student of mine and I ate here on the recommendation of one of his friends, and I just have to say about that: "Good call!" We just had a fast beer (from a good selection) and entree before leaving, but the service was very good and the food was quite delicious. I don't have Thai food nearly often enough, and this satisfied my desire for Thai. Now I highly recommend this restaurant for those seeking something literally off the beaten path (but still close enough by).

Twice in three days

By rebelynnya |

We were visiting Las Vegas and trying to avoid the strip for eating simply because the food quality vs strip prices just don't match up. Krung Siam had a very friendly staff, excellent food, great prices and generous portion sizes. We visited on a Friday night and ended up going back Sunday night too because it was so good. There was live music both times. Nice atmosphere. I tried the seafood delight and then green curry tofu. My husband ordered the duck and then the seafood delight the next visit after I raved about it.

Wonder New Years Eve Dinner

By Harry C |

We had a really wonderful New Years Eve meal, lovely food, fabulous service and we both loved the venue. Truly memorable evening and thank you Benjie.

Not going back

By pspoker |

We were in the Chinatown area and decided to try some Thai food there. We stoped into Krung Siam at 11:40am they had been open a short while. Only person in there was a lone man eating at the counter. We got sat, and immediately notice that 4 pages of the menu are for wine. The we notice a huge wine wall.We are not wine drinkers, but apparently it is huge into selling wine. There was a page of apps and salads and a page of entrees. One of us ordered the soup boul of the sweet and sour soup with lemon grass and added beef. I think Ton Kha, but not sure. It does not come with rice, you would have to order it separate. I got the garlic pepper chicken, medium spicy. It comes with a bowl of rice. The service throughout was horrible. One more table did get sat as we ate, so a total of two tables and the servers would rather stand in the back - where we could see them - talking. Took a while to get our order taken, but food came out quickly and was a lot of it. The soup was good, but not much to it. The garlic pepper chicken was way hotter than medium. I do eat spicy food but this was almost too much. The broccolli was cooked well, not limp. I shared my rice with my friend that got the soup. There was still some left over. Too much garlic, too much spiciness. But a lot of food. They keep the curtains closed so you are in a cave setting. I think they keep the curtains closed so you don't look out onto Spring Mountain and the traffic etc. Not sure though. It was clean, but the with the horrible service and the food not anything outstanding, I probably won't be back. It even took forever to get the check. But when she brought it, that was the only time she smiled. If we could give stars down to a half point it would be a 2.5 star rating. Not a 3 star (average) but not too much below that. I will stick with Ping Pong on Sunset. It is still best.

Fantastic thai meal

Pulled into Vegas late. Looking for somewhere to eat. Thai sounded good. I had the pad z u brilliant all the way around. Would go again

Disappointed with a Fight at the End

By BikerKaye |

I was craving Thai food so a friend suggested we try Krung Siam for lunch. I'd never been there before and I'm always up for something new. I was very disappointed. My sweet and sour chicken was average at best. My friend ordered the Pad Thai with chicken. When her dish arrived, it was loaded with tofu. She called the waitress back to the table and said she'd ordered chicken. The waitress said "oh that's chicken. We just put in the tofu." My friend asked for the tofu to be removed and to bring her only chicken. When the dish returned, there were literally three small pieces of chicken on the plate! She said the noodles were good however. The real kicker came with the bill. I was charged $3 for an extra side of peanut sauce. It certainly wasn't the three bucks, but I didn't order peanut sauce. I finally got someone's attention and asked that the peanut sauce be removed from the bill as I did not order it. The waiter (not the one who served us) was very confused. He kept reaching for my credit card. I told him to change the bill, THEN I'd give me him my credit card. After a good 6-7 minute wait, he finally returned, we settled up and I thought that was that. Before we left, my friend popped into the Ladies while I waited at the table. Another woman who I'd never seen before came up to me with my bill in her hand. We literally got into a verbal fight about the stupid three dollar order of peanut sauce. I told her over and over that I didn't order it. I had sweet and sour chicken. Exactly WHAT would I be putting the peanut sauce on? I told her the bill had already been taken care of and she just stood there looking at me. I finally just ignored her, stood up and walked out the front door. I watched my bank account very carefully to make sure she didn't try to back charge me the stupid three dollars. She did not. Never in my life have I had a fight about whether or not I ordered peanut sauce! I will not return. There are far too many places to eat in Las Vegas!

good food

By Barney M |

larry picked this place years ago in chinatown. we split beef fried rice and probably the best pad thai ive ever had. 2 huge portions. we had leftovers. it was about 3 so it wasnt crowded and well worth the trip

Great food with TERRIBLE service

By Fair_reviewer_NC |

Food was great, authentic. English won't get you far there, but everything was up to asian standard: "ok - no problem"...... everything is possible, even chinese Kung Pao, which we luckily have not ordered after all Unfortunately it was 4 of us, each meal arrived separately with 5-10 minutes delay in between.... That said I would return for lunch anytime, just NOT with guests .... I would highly recommend their curries, all were great and so was Thai Tea

Tasty food, spacious restaurant

By Lilly_traveljournal |

The restaurant is spacious so can accommodate big groups. There's also a little stage for a live band. Nice artwork on the walls. Food was tasty, not the best Thai I've had but pretty good. Papaya salad with shrimp was good. Reasonable prices.

Nice restaurant, good food, convenient location

By Jon P |

We went here spontaneously because it has a good location and late hours (not sure if it is 24 hours or not). We got a yellow curry, which was quite good, and a tom yum soup, which was just average. The spiciness scale that they use is accurate - a 3 had just a small amount of spice and an 8 was quite hot. The dining room is very nice, especially for the modest price range. The lighting is nice, a little dim, and the music in the restaurant is appropriate. While we were there we heard the radio for the first half of our meal, and then a singer began to sing, some songs in English and some in Thai. Overall, this is a nice experience, pretty good Thai food with a very convenient location, at the end of Chinatown nearest the Strip.

Good Thai spot, open late

By John_Setrak |

I went here late one night, after midnight, craving some Thai food. The food was good - not great, but good. I've had better. But this place was open late and was active. There was a singer who sang in both English and Thai - he used a keyboard with a lot of canned instruments and it sounded good, but I thought it was a bit too loud for that time of night - but it was really not a big problem to me. I actually liked it. I had Chicken with basil and spring rolls. Everything was good but not the best. The price was very reasonable. The service was definitely on the slow side but very friendly and courteous. It took a long time for them to bring me the check - I had to flag down a waitress just for that. I think they figure that people want to linger and enjoy the music and talk, so they are slow on purpose, at least to a point, as a way of being polite. I didn't get the impression they are slow out of a lack of competence or out of laziness. I would repeat this place if the conditions were right but I'd be inclined to try out one or more other late-night Thai places first. If you end up here you can't go wrong, but you might have done better, I think. I could be wrong. I know another Thai restaurant in Vegas that's a lot better but I don't think they are open late-night (early morning, that is). I will add that I think the location is very convenient if you're staying on or near the strip, so that along with the late-night plus the decent food and service make it a very viable option if you find yourself with a late-night craving for Thai food.

Getting together

By Sheryl H |

This is a great place for food, and fun. They have live entertainment and the drinks are delicious. We went on Saturday night fot dinner. However, they do have lunch specials.

Probably won't go back

By cindy247nature |

I love Thai food and really wanted to like this place. I have gone three times. The first time the service was very poor. (lunch) Took a good 45 minutes before our food was delivered (and it was not that busy). The food quality was average. I thought the food was overpriced for what we got. The decor is nice and clean and looks elegant inside. The second visit was also a very long wait for the food (lunch). I was with a party of 4 and again it was not that busy. We felt like the staff was not happy and maybe they take out their frustration with the customers? The food was average. Again, I LOVE Thai food so I am willing to overlook some things just to get my Thai fix. The third time I went with a girlfriend at dinner time. Same atmosphere with the staff. It seems maybe they are always understaffed and maybe they are stressed? I don't know but I just know it is hard to get simple things like a water while you are waiting forever for your food. The worst part about this time was the singer! He was good but the volume was so loud that it actually hurt both of our ears. The noise level made it almost impossible to have any type of conversation including one with your waiter. It was like they were trying to clear out the place using noise tactics!! The food was ok and again felt overpriced. So they are consistent with their service but it is not service I wish to receive. I know a lot of people like this place so maybe I have gone at bad times. I really wanted to like this place. It was Thai food and it is very clean and feels nice inside, but with the service I always seem to get and the very LOUD entertainment I feel like I will not return.

Good luncheon

By Sandy K |

Came in for lunch during the week. Parking ready accessible due to the large lot shared with other businesses. Once entering I was seated at my choice of a large table next to a power outlet. I went with the green chicken curry lunch special that included soup. The curry was mildly spicy and the veggies weren't overcooked - a good thing, sauce was perfectly textured and all the chicken was lean white meat. The Thai ice tea was refreshing and thirst quenching and service was solid. The decorated dinning area is tastefully decorated and there's a small stage area for live music in one part of the large dinning room. I really enjoyed my dinning experience here for lunch and will be returning here for sure.

Good spot no doubt

By Cursive9 |

Open late and they have live music with good food. Also have a variety of inexpensive lunch specials. Have had multiple plates thru the years and it's always been quality.

Excellent Thai food!

By jnvegasfoodie |

I have now been here twice and loved it both times. Once for lunch with a group of friends and once for dinner with my boyfriend. Both times the food has been excellent and the service has been great. The first time I went for lunch and we all ordered off the lunch special menu and for four entree's and four drinks our total was only $35 before tip. I got the Basil Chicken which was excellent and my boyfriend got the Eggplant with seafood which was also awesome. For dinner both my boyfriend and I got the Panang curry with shrimp and thai iced tea. Our total off the dinner menu for two entrees and two thai iced teas was $34 before tip. So lunch is the affordable way to go but I felt that for what I got for dinner it was a fair price for vegas. I have not been to any other Thai restaurants in Vegas so I cannot say this is the best thai in vegas but compared to the thai places I used to go to in Denver this place is amazing!

Great restaurant in LV

By Sandy H |

I don't get to LV very often, but every time I come, my friend and I go there. I was afraid with the pandemic it might have closed, but it was still there. The staff goes out of their way to please their guests. We wanted a booth, but none was available. We sat at a table and as soon as a booth became available, we got it. We weren't sure what wine we wanted and they let us sample 5 before we found the perfect one. We closed the place--no one rushes you there. You can have a relaxing dinner and catch up on everything happening in your friend's life. If you like Thai food, I definitely recommend it.

OK food, no service

By IbneBatutaLV |

We are locals. Relatively busy on this Sunday evening. Food is OK, nothing to write home about. There are a third of the required waitstaff, so do not expect any service. Wouldn't bother to visit again.

Great Thai Close to Chinatown.....

By BradleyandMia |

Decided to try this last weekend. Very nice, clean restaurant with bar area. Food was very delicious and well presented. Most dishes had a 1-10 heat scale you could adjust to your liking. Polite wait staff and even had PBR beer on tap. Great meal. Will return....

Ambiance with Class

By Maria K |

Fine dining. Most amazing food and music is delightful. Bar off the chain as our mixologist made incredible drinks. The sea bass risotto is to die for. Had it twice and made certain to order for the table. Yes, it stole the show. Everything is delicious.

Great find

By Ktre8884 |

Great find... If you are in Vegas and in the middle of night you are craving for some spicy thai food with live music this is ths place to be at. The service was pretty good and the food definately the best. The tom yum soup with the chicken & shrimp was superb. Loved it. Definately recommend this place

Quick Afternoon Lunch

By Calitraveler50 |

I really like Thai food and needed a quick bite to eat. I unsuccessfully searched for a Thai restaurant near my home, until someone told me that the best place to find great Asian food was in China Town off of Spring Mountain Road in Las Vegas. Another person suggested that I visit Krung Siam. I ordered the lunch special of Red Curry with mixed seafood and a Thai Coffee. Before receiving my order I was given a bowl of soup and spring roll. Both were excellent. My lunch order was very good and the service was great! I will definitely place Krung Siam on my list of casual Thai dining. My total bill for the lunchtime special was $15.69 (Thai Coffee $2.50, and Red Curry dish $11.99.

Best lunch value in Vegas?

By OneKentuckyFamily |

Awesome little restaurant in a strip mall, definitely off the strip. We stopped in for lunch, just driving around. Their lunch menu is $6.99 for a variety of base dishes, with your choice of pork, chicken, beef, veggies, or tofu. This price includes soup. Additionally, Thai coffee and tea, hot or cold, is just $1, instead of the usual $2.99. There were some beer specials also, and they have a small stage for bands. Very nice, looks pretty new. Lots of TVs, but they were all turned down so no blaring, when we were there.

Lunch

By TTH888 |

Got our fixings and food was delicious in every bite. Though the restaurant didn't pass inspections and violated some 20 codes months before. We figured they had it all ironed out since the food was so yummy we didn't want to leave Sin City without getting our Thai fix.

Going back for sure!

By AmLucha |

Wonderful food! We had pad see you and it was wonderful. menu is not really children friendly but the staff was. We ended up getting our 3 year old a plate of chicken fried rice and he loved it. Only problem was the service. It started of slow but then it switched and he was wonderful. We confirmed before we left who was getting the tip and then left 20%. Great food at a great price. Loved it.

Greta Thai Food for Price Paid

By TravelSamDallas |

Not a fancy place but good Thai Food for the price. Wait staff is friendly and patient. Offer different levels of spice for food which is a good idea for American Taste. Only the brave will go for 5 which is Thai Hot. Duck dishes are good and most seafood is OK. Pad Thai not too my taste.

Birthday Dinner

By fredbblock |

We had a show to make at 6:30 PM at Planet Hollywood, so I looked for a spot to have Thai food for an early dinner. Krung Siam answered that challenge for a Saturday in late July. Every dish ordered was prepared to perfection. This is no run-of-mill Thai restaurant. The Tiger beef was the melt-in-your-mouth tender! The chicken pad thai was beyond anything that I have eaten in countless Thai restaurants in Los Angeles, New Jersey, Manila, and Philly. I can't remember my 1981 trip to Bangkok! The Salmon Penang, as was the Penang Curry Shrimp, was abundant and delicious. The Sticky Rice dessert topped off an enjoyable celebration. The service was friendly and professional, very attentive. The restaurant bar was spacious. The only suggestion I have is the choice of music...loud rock. I am a professional musician and a percussionist who wishes to eat with a background of tasteful Bossa Nova melodies, not jarring music of any type. That was a disappointment, hearing loud music! If the public wishes to have noisy dinners, this place will provide them an opportunity to chow down.

Great service

By Shando |

Had been wanting to eat here for years and finally had the opportunity. Below are my pros and cons. Pros: - Excellent service from everyone!! - Easy to access and plenty of free parking - Simple menu with items never seen in other Thai restaurants - "Medium spicy" is not the same from a Thai perspective...beware! Wait staff kindly informed us prior to ordering...whew! - Some dishes were quite tasty Cons: - Very very salty! - Menu too simple, lacking options and flavors Worth trying if you're in the area.

Great Thai meal

By unhappypatr0n |

Delicious meal here last night with family. Shared pad Thai, curry sea bass and short ribs. Restaurant nicely appointed, the aroma of garlic hits you on way in, yum, and wine list was excellent. Service was great, highly recommend

Yummy food

By Sandy H |

This is the place to go for Thai food. Forget those overpriced Thai restaurants and eat here. Every time I visit Las Vegas, I eat here. It's a not to be missed experience. Food is so delicious. Service is awesome. I love it. Can't imagine anyone being disappointed.

More "Thai" than expected.

By Kennedy H |

Having been in the States for over a week, I had a craving for Thai food during a convention in Las Vegas so we tried out this place. I was expecting Americanized Thai Food but to my surprise, the food was very authentic Thai. I ordered Papaya Salad and Tiger Crying Beef Salad with Sticky Rice and the taste was just as I would get in Thailand. Made my day!

M not a good employee!

By Sandro G. |

My family has been eating at this restaurant for 5+ years and through their multiple renovations it has been pleasant seeing this restaurant thrive and grow. But tonight's experience has been the worst. When the ticket arrived to our table it had a 18% gratuity we asked this guy by the name M if this could be changed to less, due to our experience that our waitress was inattentive my glass was empty for the majority of the time there. So I gave my reason why I didn't feel comfortable leaving a 18% gratuity. We never said we didn't want to leave a tip but not 18% gratuity! I have worked in a restaurant and the tips you as a representative of the business has to be earned. This guy flipped out and started telling us that if we didn't want to leave a tip not eat at his restaurant. And he would be happy to refer us to another restaurant where we didn't have to leave a tip. This guy was rude and his customer service was awful. If I was the owner of this business I would definitely fire this guy. I wouldn't want my line staff to refer my customers to another restaurant. Customers are the lifeline of any business but if I have an employee that kicks out my customers I would be furious! Now a gentleman by the name of March came to our table and apologized for the extremely disturbing and awful service given by M. Mr. Ken if you read this please I urge to read the bad reviews not the good ones but every one of them so you can see that your business is not going the right way your customers are not happy with the quality of the food and especially the customer service! We will not be going back. No live music.

For Flavor, Super.

By princeofwaldo |

Actually a night club more than a restaurant, but the food is very good. Portions could have been larger, but the quality was unmistakably high.

Favorite Thai Restaurant

By icarranza1951 |

My favorite Thai restaurant in Las Vegas. We eat in this restaurant every time we visit Las Vegas. They have great variety of Thai dishes and the best part is that they are offered spicy from 1 thru 10. Live music is also offered in the evening until 2 am. It’s nice music. I really love this restaurant.

Relaxed dining in an upscale setting with refined versions of traditional Thai food

By Inaradiva |

Krung Siam looks like an upscale night club but has an elegantly casual atmosphere. Staff is friendly and welcoming. The food is refined and there is good variety without making the menu overwhelming. They are incredibly fast on take-out orders and generous with their portions. On weekends they have live music and are open late.

Good Thai food

By Mahadera |

The restaurant is located along Spring Mountain Rd in Chinatown. My friends and I, all five of us, had early dinner and we ordered three kinds of appetizers, crab Rangoon is one of them and it was good. The other two not so much. The eggplant dish with ground meat was really delicious. Their pad tai is different from what I'm used to and the chicken panang is so so. Be warned that their dishes are all spicy but you can adjust it to your taste. We just ordered mild #2 so it was bearable even if we did not like spicy food too much. We had Thai tea for drinks but it was kind of watery. There is music & singing at around 9:00pm but we left early so we were not able to enjoy the music. The service is fast and the servers were very nice. If you are tired of the buffet food, try this restaurant. I'm sure they have other delicious dishes that will match your palate.

Good Thai

By Terry S |

There are a lot of Asian food choices along this road and we were happy to find this one. Curry and stir-fry dishes were good, and the service was average. It is a spacious property.

Not worth the trip

By sparkyrob |

We were lured in by the $4.99 lunch specials. The food was distinctly average, filling but nothing special. The staff were too busy playing with their smartphones to be bothered with any sort of service. There were two occupied tables at lunch, so they weren't exactly rushed off their feet. Cheap, but not cheerful...one to avoid.

Yum!

By Mike D |

Delicious food! Really modern clean atmosphere. Will definitely be back. Probably my favorite Thai spot in town. Better than some of the more popular places.

Enjoy a Vegas "Chinatown" gem, barely a mile from the Strip but far enough away to escape the madness. Friendly staff, authenti

By Beth is TallLadyTX |

This was my second lunch trip and I enjoyed myself. It's a locals favorite, quiet enough to be a nice date restaurant and busy enough to keep your interest. Long bar for single eaters (me) which I love. I haven't been able to enjoy their bar specials but they will make sure you enjoy some good beer! Thai pride is evident with Thai tourism shows playing quietly on two TV screens. Restaurant is very clean and they deliver!

Let there be Curry!

By Ryan R |

As a vegan, I said I would never return to this place since the lack of taste from substitutions were not present. Now that I'm no longer a vegan, I've returned with Fork & Knife in hand! I'm glad this experience didn't let me down, because if it did I would for sure not return back to this place. Chada Thai & Wine were fully booked at the time I got there, and didn't think about making a reservation. My friend and I didn't want to wait 1 hour, so we decided the next best place, Krung Siam. Ambiance: 5/5 Since coming back from Thailand in March, this place definitely reminds me of the liveliness and culture that is Thailand. They have 3 screens that play ads and videography of Thailand. While waiting for my friend to arrive, just watching the ads make me happy and excited to be back in Thailand next month. It's quite dark with soft candle lighting which makes for an intimate date or gathering. Service: 5/5 Though our server was soft spoken, he did an amazing job at making sure we were taking care. No this is no 5 Diamond eatery, but the service here makes it feel more genuine rather than robotic. Food: 5/5 I was a bit fearful of ordering chicken, so I decided on shrimp in panang curry. It was amazingly delicious! Be mindful of the heat factor, I ordered a 3 and it was still spicy. So if you think you're cool enough to take the heat, by all means go for a 10! We also ordered ourselves a thai tea which was great going down...but lets just say my stomach couldn't handle all that dairy at once. Overall: 5/5 I'm glad to know that flavors exist here! If you're a vegan, you'll have to get used to dishes like the pad thai tasting tangy and salty with just soy sauce and tamarind. We sat next to a vegan who ate fried spring rolls...I'm pretty sure the oil was contaminated with meat like products being fried in it as well. I don't think she was a true vegan... I'll be back now for sure...and they're open late!

Terrible experience.

By Avi Baron |

My wife and I ate there about 2 times a month. They always had a problem with the taste, You can order the same dish but the taste chagnes in each time . Thsi time we got a chicken that went bad but the waiter didnt want to do anything about it. We asked to speak to a manager and when he came he did say that he dont care if we will eat it ot not as long as we pay . We indicate that there is no reason to pay for few bites but he said that we not gonna leave the restaurant without it . We end up paying that cause we didnt want to fight all we wanted is a nice date night. In the end I did a chargeback cause the dont deserve money for chicken that went bad.

Loved the food! Great atmosphere! Good service!

We were hiking in Sloan Canyon National Conservation Area, and we had to get the the Billy Joel & Sting concert (which was starting at7pm), so we looked for a place to stop and eat lunch on our way back to the Strip. We decided to give Krung Siam Thai Restaurant a try and we loved it! We were the only ones there at the time we went. Service was very good. The food was amazing! We got the fried calamari as a starter. It was excellent! I got the

Economical and quick

I visited Dec 3 and ordered a takeout Pad Thai at spice level 7 (out of 10). The food was prepared quickly and there was enough of it for me. The various staff kept checking that I had been served. The meal was economical, under $15 including a good tip. Compared to the overpriced and blah food at many of the resorts on the Strip, it was a relief to find a local place that has basic food well prepared. I'll come here again.

Disco and bad pad thai

By Andreas S |

I came here to meet some friends and have some good Thai food. We went for an early dinner and they were blasting techno music the whole time. Almost had to shout to be able to have a conversation. This was odd to me because it was about 6 in the evening with four other tables seated. Not exactly the partying crowd. But whatever, food came I got a pad thai. It was all egg and no peanut. Pad Thai casserole. Disgusting. other food items were All right. Tom kha was good, a friend got pork belly but that's Chinese so you know... overall a disappointment.

Our favorite Thai restaurant

By David M |

When we wrote off Pin Kaow as our Thai restaurant of choice (see our review), we looked around for a good replacement. We enjoyed our visits to Lotus of Siam, Thai BBQ (S. Jones), and Krung Thai (Decatur/Flamingo). We didn't care for the decor at Lotus of Siam--a bit to glitzy/formal. Thai BBQ seemed more like a hole in the wall, though the food was good. We liked Krung Thai--a very pleasant ambiance and great personnel. But then we came upon Krung Siam (Spring Mountain Rd.), and that became our favorite. The atmosphere is casual/modern. The personnel is not always at the top of its game, but (after dozens of visits), we have to admit, it generally does a good job. We used to go in the evenings, and enjoyed the live entertainment. We now tend to go for the lunch menu (and I appreciate being able to drink a Thai iced tea for just $1.00--a third of the evening price), and we're always satisfied. The servings are the right size for us--we don't want to stuff ourselves, but don't want to leave hungry, either. We always get a bowl of soup prior to the main dish--and its contents vary from visit to visit, but is always good. This may not be the best Thai restaurant in town, but it offers a good balance of atmosphere, food, and service. Krung Siam draws us back about once a week these days.

Love this place

By Sandy H |

Every time I come to Las Vegas, my girlfriend and I eat here. The food is delicious and Friday, Jan. 10, they had a fantastic singer. This is a restaurant where one can order a bottle of wine, get an appetizer and relax. My friend and I were there from 6 PM until 10:45 PM and never felt rushed or pushed to finish and leave. The restaurant was almost full and it was nice to see people relaxing and enjoying a great meal. Definitely a must if you are in Las Vegas!

Fun and tasty!

We have friends from out of town and every time they come, we come to Krung Siam in Chinatown. What I love about this place is that it is not your typical quiet Thai restaurant, but rather a lively restaurant with live music. We have been here multiple times and not all the times they have live music, but when they do it is a nice touch. Service is great and food is always on point, that's why we keep coming back!

RIPPED OFF

By C-BASS1966 |

Was a very good restaurant that is overcharging people! Third time in and food was great now its good pad thai was tasteless today. They added $2 for one peanut sauce and $3 for one extra cucumber sauce,oh and my $12 glass of wine was filled 1/4 of the way from bottom. My husband,a bartender was a little surprised at the cheap poor.Still tipped 20% as the sevice and rest of the food good. But they lost our business and everyone we can tell.I work in a casino and my husband is a bartender in three locations talks to quite a lot of people.Good luck

Great lunch specials

Tasty menu with great lunch specials. Quick and easy place for lunch with clients. The chicken dishes are excellent, the beef salad is a must. Becareful with the spices the beef can get hot. The staff are very sweet.

Let me make this simple. I'm not going to waste my time on any more than the required 100 word requirement for a tripadvisor review. JUST DON'T GO.

Excellent!

Our fourth visit to this restaurant while visiting the Las Vegas area and my second review here, because it is so good. Each time is just as good if not better that the prior visit. Extremely good food. We have tried several dishes and have not been disappointed with any of them. Abundant vegetarian options, which is really great if that's your thing. Entree price average $12 - $15.
