Not worth the high price point

By Nicholas B |

Was excited to try LPM for their Miami Spice menu, which was well reviewed by multiple articles online. Their website mentions a "Summer Menu" available until September 30, with no mentions of limited dates or times. We booked a reservation online, which required putting down a credit card, but upon arriving was told the special menu was only available Sun-Thu. The waiter said that this is the case for all Miami Spice menus, which is not true. Food and atmosphere were ok but nothing special, much better options at this price point in the area.

LOTS OF SIZZLE BUT THAT’S ABOUT ALL

By ElJeffeMiami |

I can see why there is a wide range of reviews, if you are turned on by a pretty setting, this is it. If you are looking for a “bang for your buck,” this is not the item. On Miami standards, the service was good but once again the server had no idea who ordered which dish, not even close for a fine dining experience. The appetizers were generally good with a cauliflower salad and salmon carpaccio leading the offerings. The ratatouille was the most interesting item that arrived at the table; the peppers were sweet and perfectly prepared. Bread was offered upon being seated and never again. I had a meager pour of Sancerre for $18. Entres at our table were duck l’orange which had a nice reduction sauce, poached redfish which was said to be good, not great and a pasta dish with clams. The pasta had a floury taste and the clams were very small and in many instances the shells had no contents. Desserts were nice, classic apple tart not often seen in these parts and crispy brioche with a spicy ice cream. If I am to rate this restaurant against the Miami standard it probably pulls in 3 1/2 to 4 stars but if this restaurant was across the street from its parent in Nice, France, it would probably be gone in 6 months; in my book if you charge these prices you must be spot on with cuisine and service.

The best in Miami

By RenatodiCaprio |

Really! Owned by the same people as Zuma, this is really the best Miami has. Food always very good, desserts to die for. And there is no better restaurant for the Branzino.

French dining Miami (2)

By VALENTIN_0258 |

We visited La petite Maison this year again and it was as expected a wonderful dinner eve. Service was very attentive and helpful in making up our mind about the menu. The food e.g a Turbot was excellent in presentation as well in taste. The whole seating is very comfortable and definitely a place to come back to and enjoy a relaxing dinner with your family.

French Quality High End

By Sybaritic8888 |

Although you will pay dearly for it, this is a most delicious restaurant, offering high end French cuisine and great wines.

Unimpressed

By FPAdventurer |

I had lunch with a business associate at the restaurant. The service was ok, the ambience is nice but the food left much to be desired. The tuna tartar was very bland, the octopus carpaccio was decent, but the sea bream was good. With the prices charged you would expect a lot more. Not sure if I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.

Best meal in Miami

By KCLizard |

This was our best meal in Miami as it had the best combination of excellent food, service and general ambience. The drink menu was a fun way to start the meal as each drink has a story in a book, and the drinks were outstanding and interesting (such as one that had a rose in the ice cube). The tomatini was outstanding, and the others were visually appealing and tasty (but the names were kind of unique so hard to recall). The burrata and the poulpe (octopus sliced very thin) were an outstanding start to the meal, but we were disappointed that they did not have the escargot that evening. At our table, we had pasta dishes, sea bass, steak, and the duck confit, and all were presented well and tasted great. I had the duck confit, and it was so tender and nicely seasoned. We had the apple tart and the sorbet dish for dessert, and they were good. It has prices you would expect for this location in Brickell. We sat on the patio, and they made it a wonderful evening.

The best! Always one of our

By RenatodiCaprio |

The best! Always one of our favorites. Great food, can sit outside which is good these days. Service is tops.

Big expectation, poor experience.

By Marc A |

It’s very simple. The place is very nice and the design of the restaurant is beautiful. However, the service is awful (3h to get pasta). The food has no flavor and the quantity is not enough. For the price tag, I will definitely not come back.

Great experience

By SandraMiami_fl |

We went to try the Miami Spice Menu we all thought it was great! Our server Isis guided us with the menu and the experience was great. I had the croquettes, mushroom risotto and the french toast for dessert. I loved everything, the croquettes were very light and perfect. French toast was delicious too. My husband ordered the sea bass, corn salad and the best cheesecake in town. The prices are very high, so this is not an everyday kind of restaurant. Portions are kind of small for the prices. Great restaurant.

A true fine dining gem

By lexeth |

We had an excellent experience here. Great service, friendly and attentive. The food was wonderful: ratatouille, octopus carpaccio, burrata, prawns, escargot and calamari to start. We enjoyed the red fish and several pastas as our mains, with the gnocchi, pumpkin risotto, papardelle and linguine with clams as standouts. The desserts were a perfect ending- a light (and enormous) creme brûlée and the warm chocolate mousse which is clearly misnamed; it’s more like a soufflé. I don’t think we will become regulars here but it is definitely recommended for a special night. There are many reviews here complaining of the price. It’s not cheap by any means but appetizers in the teens and pastas in the thirties makes it manageable and absolutely worth it.

Wonderful

By dianamna |

Classy, beautiful ambiance excellent food except for the farcis. A lovely evening, very nice service excellent wines. Highly recommend it.

Very rude service

By afinger |

We made a reservation that was supposed to have a 15 minute late tolerance. However, we arrived 15 minutes late and they refused to serve us. They told us they could do us ‘the cortesy’ of serving appetizers, but we couldn’t order any of the main dishes. We had never been treated this poorly by any restaurant in Miami. By the way, if your kitchen closes at 10:30pm, do not accept any reservation for that time, and do not promisse a 15-minute-tolerance!!!!

Excellent in every way

By Kenneth Pages |

So pleased with the choice to go to La Petite Maison. I was happy to see them turn away a family that seemed to just be straggling in from the beach in flip flops etc etc (they said they were fully committed). It is too nice a place not to adhere to an at least minimum level of dress code. We were greeted and sat promptly. Our server Abel was extremely knowledgeable and fun. Our somme Mitch also as very knowledgeable and approachable. I would recommend everything! Don't forget to eat the tomatoes that are at the table - they and the lemons are not there for decorations and they were great tomatoes. For our main course we had the grilled whole Turbot. They have many whole fish options - the Turbot was recommended and it was fabulous.

Never again

By TMK305 |

It’s a very pretty restaurant. We went for Miami Spice. It’s quite obvious this restaurant is participating in Miami spice almost unwillingly. The service was poor the food was mediocre the bill was high. It’s just not worth my time to waste money like that.

Very good but expensive

By CristianaSantos |

We love this restaurant! We’be been to its unit located in London twice but it was our first time in Miami’s unit. The escargot is divine. But this time we ordered a pasta with prawns and vongole and, althought it was very tasty, there were almost no prawns in it. The duck was very good also. Very good but expensive restaurant.

Wow! There are no words to describe this fabulous meal and total experience!!

By Denisem |

We were a family of 3 couples from multiple states and went here on the 4th night of our family reunion vacation. The decor is unbelievable with beautiful art work. The tables have fresh tomatoes to be sliced to have with the wonderful baguettes! Service was impeccable! And the food... wow! Escargots and callimari were the best we ever had. The ribeye, chicken and special fish to share with the table were divine! Cheesecake and apple tart with ice cream finished off the dinner and oh yes, great wine! Some reviews suggest this is expensive. It is worth it and on par with all fine restaurants.

Expensive and Worth It

By David A |

Last night was my 4 th visit- first time taking my grown daughters. Any place with venues in London, Hong Kong, Dubai, and Miami is serious, and this lovely restaurant is, indeed. Food was delicious, drinks well poured, and service from the United Nations sampling of staff was first rate. It’s best if someone else pays! Ha. Very worth the price for a memorable meal.

Terrible !

By Luis Mago |

I had an absolutely terrible experience at this restaurant, which is shocking given that I’ve been a loyal customer for years. From the moment we made the reservation, everything went downhill. The staff failed to follow our specific requests for the table we wanted, and the process of seating us and taking our order was chaotic and unprofessional. Our waiter was a complete disaster—rude, inattentive, and completely uninformed, even about basic menu items like Reggiano Parmesan. The sommelier was no better, displaying a lack of expertise and care. The food, which I’ve always enjoyed in the past, was a total disappointment. I usually order the duck confit, but this time it was prepared so poorly it was unrecognizable. Adding insult to injury, the staff didn’t bother to check on us or show any concern for our experience. This was, without a doubt, the worst dining experience I’ve had in Miami. I will never return to this restaurant.

Cannot be faulted

By Hilary S |

Every staff member we encountered were fabulous. All polite and helpful . We ate from the six to huit menu . The calamari was superb. I would highly recommend this gem of a restaurant we stumbled upon.

We will not return.

By ChiefWolf |

While this had been one of our favorite places in Miami, the last time we were there it was plain awful. We ordered a food item that was served very different than described on the menu. The service was very slow. And one of the servers helping our table served me the wrong wine form a different table. She had to placed our wine in the same ice bucket as the other table (a huge no no in great places). Not only was it worse than what I ordered, but it wasn’t even the same color. And when I called out the problem, she took my glass and brought me a glass of something that wasn’t even close to what I ordered. A huge mistake by one of the most expensive places in the Brickell area in Miami. Speaking of prices, most menu items are overpriced. But some are just simply incredibly expensive. A risotto with truffles is priced at $135 and you can’t even smell (forget about taste) the truffles. Wines are incredibly expensive and they “hide” under the “French style” locale to overprice their offerings. We WILL NOT return, ever.

A perfect evening

By FLDOC_11 |

What a great restaurant! we sat on the outside terrace which was very nice. The interior of the restaurant was lovely as well. The service was, perhaps the best I have ever experienced. Perfectly attentive but not hovering. Food costed were timed perfectly as well. We each had the escargot which were huge and delicious in the shells. I had the lamb lollipop chops medium rare. They were so tender and delicious. My husband had the filet, also cooked medium rare and delicious. Sommelier was so informative and helpful. Overall a world class restaurant in Brickell!

In my top 3 french list.

By LEMB1971 |

La Petite Maison is in my Top 3 french restaurant list in Miami. 100% recommended. Booking ahead. Service, staff and food are excellent. Expensive but worth any penny. Pumpkin risotto was excellent. Chocolate mousse was yummy.

Expected quality

Just as my first visit! Quality, service, atmosphere continues to be more than excellent!!! Will come back again!! If in Miami you need to visit this great restaurant! France in USA!!

Memorable Fine Dining Experience in Brickell

By TravelingFats |

The duck confit is going to melt in your mouth like butter …. My grandma would be so proud of the chef ;) some people find the organic lemon & tomatoes odd on the table … us on the other hand: absolutely enjoyed the freedom of cutting those up and making our own tomato salad dressed up with lemon juice, olive oil and salt w house bread on the side … a fun start for us ! Service was fantastic and Barna, the bar manager made us feel so welcome and treated us like long time friends.. we will be back ! Thank you

Parfait !

By Paul M |

Excellent service, all waiters are here to provide a very good experience. The food is amazing. I’m from France and I found the flavors I miss from my home country. Great wine selection, the wine list is long but they are here to help you choose. The cocktails are excellent as well. The atmosphere is cosy and romantic, perfect for a date night.

Most impressive server/service

By Mateo Bridgemann |

As a result of high standards when it comes to dining out, my expectations were pretty low as usual. When trying out new restaurants these days, I am almost always skeptical that the hype is actually real. This is especially true in Miami’s restaurant scene. I will admit that the food here at LPM was, in short, quite surprisingly, AMAZING! One of LPM’s very own signature dishes—The Duck Confit, was suggested in such a way by our server that we could not say no. I genuinely hope that this dish remains on their menu as it is definitely one of the many great reasons to come back to this lovely French restaurant. However, nothing compares to the level of service we received. Anticipating art basel in Miami we understood that as a result, the restaurant would want our table back in a timely fashion, however, our downright magical server Orlando, did not make us feel rushed at all. Quite the opposite In fact, he used his time, effort and of course his knowledge and skills not only to anticipate EVERY last one of our needs but to go above and beyond to make us relish and truly enjoy, every second spent dining at LPM. Not even after a much pricier, multi-course, 3 Michelin star dinner have I, or any one of my accompanying colleagues have ever walked out of a restaurant with this much to say about the level of service provided. Surprisingly, all coming from just a few focused, yet highly motivated individuals who clearly were not limited to their own sections for they, very noticeably so, took care of everyone in the entire dining area. This restaurant clearly knows what they’re doing when it comes to food but more impressively has brought to life their brand’s philosophy by carefully selecting the people who represent it and express the it so naturally through their knowledge and passion for the industry. I will be more than delighted to revisit and experience LPM again and again, especially on a global scale so as long as service like this can be remain standard even in spite of it being one of their busiest nights of the year. To be Frank, the 20% service charge/gratuity added to every check does not do these servers justice due to the fact that this type of service is not common in most typical everyday restaurants, let alone many of today’s luxury/fine dining establishments found in Miami. This type of service was truly a brilliant display of performance art, humbly executed with such genuine passion Highly recommend LPM if you want to take a break from Miami’s traditional lack of great service not to mention, the overrated, ever presently growing amount hotspots. Seriously blown away from this place. Just wow. Huge compliments to our server Orlando as he was the highlight of our evening for nothing art basel had to offer came close to his performance art! What a memorable evening, thanks to every helping hand at LPM this goes to say, all responsible for one of the best dinners I, alongside longtime colleagues, have had the privilege and delight to ever experience in the wake and privilege of us dining out at (arguably) some of the best restaurants in the world.

Good food pushy waiters

By Ariestennisgirl |

We have been going to this place since it opened its doors. We are even clients in the London location but it is very unfortunate the way waiters now push food on you in the Miami location. They even refused to give us ice water, only bottle water which they pushed even if we did not want it. We were drinking wine!! We ordered chicken and fish by weight and they pushed so much food on us that most remained on the plates, needless to say the price of the bill.

Horrible

By Passenger220754 |

The food is horrible. Escargot loaded with tarragon /// terrible. . Parpadelle sauce was out of a can. Red fish disgusting \ Couldn’t eat . Avoid at all costs // I don’t cook but I am certainly better than that

Charming. The interiors are calm and sophisticated, the food exceptional.

By Leslie M |

Open kitchens can be chaotic but this one is situated perfectly to be both quiet and beautiful. The impressive bar has a floor to ceiling bistro feel at the entry, but the interior of the restaurant gives way white linens, sparkling chandeliers, some fresh market vegetables piled in the middle of your table to enjoy with bread and olive oil. Provence style shutters and French art feel at once traditional and modern. We found the food, service, and sommelier to be exceptional, every time. A caveat: because of time restriction on tables to achieve two seatings, you can't claim a table and dine all evening like France. But take dessert and coffee outside ...

Would not return

By TravelBoomerang |

I went to LPM for happy hour during a weekend in Brickell based on the reviews on TripAdvisor and other sites. I arrived just as happy hour was starting and was able to get a place at the bar. I ordered the escargot and beef brochettes which were so very delicious. I had a nice glass of red which topped off the visit. Now for the negative. I had to repeat my order several times to the bartender who seemed more interested in his friends who were at the bar. When my wine finally came, after my appetizers arrived, I was asked by another bartender to move my seat to accommodate what appeared to be regulars at the bar. I shifted by seat to the right to give them space - no problem. I was eating and enjoying my wine when another bartender came to me and asked me to move again and shifting me into a tight little area of the bar. This was to accommodate friends of the bartender. No apologies and no appreciation for me moving. It seemed like it expected that I should have done what they said. At this point, I no longer felt welcome and I left. I will never return and will tell others about my experience.

Dinner at LPM ….

By Jose M |

Great food but way too crowded, tables too close to each other. Could easily overheard other people’s conversations. The waiter was awful, rushing us to order our food. Despite informing the restaurant it was our anniversary, did not acknowledged at all.

Super restaurant, excellent service.

By GordsGuinness |

Super restaurant, excellent service. The front of house was very friendly and very efficient. We ate outside in the evening and enjoyed the ‘six au huit’ menu (everything costs $8 each). We had great food and very good service consistently provided by everyone.

Not good service by Manager

By Castillo |

We were celebrating our anniversary and towards the end the manager came to us to say that if we need more time we go to the bar and finish our drink because they had people waiting . Worse experience ever and we had a table next to us that were there before us. We’ll never go back, food was ok for the over price, better places like Pied a Terre in Miami beach. REPLY

The bar staff were awesome.

By Ryan L |

A local hangout of the the wealthy condo owners. Good food and very helpful and nice staff. Try some of the good Armagnac at the bar.

Excellent Miami French 🇫🇷 Restaurant

By Florida Traveler |

This is an excellent French restaurant. All of the food here is well prepared. For appetizers the tuna tartare and Nicoise salad with blue fin tuna are really good. For entrees the whole sea bream baked or grilled ribeye are outstanding. For desert the vanilla creme Brulee or vanilla cheesecake are delicious. Service is professional. LPM has a continental refined upscale ambiance.

good food but not open to happiness

By DaniellaChor |

its a restaurant I already had dinner several times but its becaming too burocratic and its sucess is turning into a big trap: we have to order in minutes, eat as fast as you can do on mc donald’s and the staff is really not polite, making unecessary comments they are to invited to. Its not pleasant and cozy as it should be. Big mistake

For the bread!! Best bread in Miami

By Josue B |

OK, the escargots were absolutely delicious, and the Salt Baled filet of red fish and the pork dish were really very, very good, I cannot forget the delicious baguette we devoured while we waited our starters. Best in town. We found the Dourade disappointing. The Pain Perdu dessert is excellent!! Want to return and also try their breakfast!! Great place with a very nice decor also.

Nothing special.

By Luxury Global Reviews |

Slow and bad but kind service. Great food. Manager Miguel made things right. The lamb chops and pasta were quite good. Would not come back.

Outstanding

By advantagemiles |

I was thrilled to find this restaurant while in Miami on business. I had not heard of it, and was thoroughly impressed. It was absolutely delicious, and jam packed with people on a Wednesday night. Pricey, but worth every penny. Can’t wait to have an excuse to return to Miami (or London or Dubai) and visit La Petite Maison again!!!

Parfait!

By FloridaTraveler |

We ate at LPM last night and enjoyed a fabulous, perfect & incredible meal. The restaurant is located in Brickell Key Miami and the decor is lovely and French with unique artwork - you feel as though you have walked into a French Cafe. They offer valet parking which makes it easy to access without the parking hassle in downtown Miami. The table is set beautiful with fresh tomatoes and lemons for your liking if you choose. The appetizer of Escargot is must as it is absolutely delicious. We shared branzino that was cooked to perfection with a unique apple and walnut salad with heart of palm, and incredible desserts as well. They also offer you freshly baked baguette. I loved our meal, the atmosphere filled with beautiful Miami people and the presentation and taste of the food. As a couple who eats out fine dining often, I think this is the top of my list. I highly recommend this restaurant as the finest in South Florida. Go, you will not regret it. The service and attention to our table was without fault.

Always a Delightful Dining Experience

By Jowairia F |

This wasn’t my first time dining at LPM and as always, it did not disappoint. Every visit reminds me why I keep coming back, the food is consistently delicious, the service is friendly, and the atmosphere is just right for a relaxed evening out. Specially waitress Bianca is such a kind soul with an amazing personality, she kept checking on us to make sure everything was perfect. It was an amazing Eid evening and we’ll definitely come again.

Very good restaurant

Great spot for dinner. Food and service are excellent. The truffle pasta was very good. Ambiance is fun, though you should make a reservation Will return if in the area

A quick lunch..

By Khalid J |

My concierge at the four seasons arranged a booking for a sook lunch... It was perfect.. Started with the caviar tuna tartar.. As fresh as it gets.. Then the baby chichen with potato gratin.. An amazing combo.. The lime sorbet was a good choice to end it all..

Miami Spice dinner a Joke!

By Resort61809827413 |

We had dined at LPM before and since avoided it because of the horrendous noise level. However we obliged our friends who wanted to try it. We scheduled an early dinner last Saturday night and, yes, we immediately heard the music blaring away. As the restaurant filled up, diners were literally shouting at each other to be heard. Everyone enjoys good service but there comes a point where the service is overwhelming solicitous. Multiple servers appeared to hang over our shoulders ready to remove plates as soon as they noticed a diner had finished a serving ignoring that other diners were still eating. To say service was rushed would be an understatement. My wife ordered the Miami Spice dinner consisting of an appetizer, main course and dissert. We were shocked when the main course of sea bream arrived. It was the tiniest piece of fish one can imagine. I would estimate weighing no more than 2 ounces and no more than 2 inches by 3 inches in size. The fish was seemed lost on a large plate with no accompaniments. This would be the second and last chance we give this pretentious restaurant.

C’est délicieux

By Clandisfire |

They have a wonderful menu with many choices of appetizers and main courses- and most are meant to be shared. Their wine list is quite extensive with an amazing selection, especially from France. Everything we dined on was artfully prepared and presented - this place is a treat for the foodie. Plus, the service was just right- not too fast, not too slow. For a special night out, this is on the top of our list.

Deplorable service

By nicolas1415 |

Good food quality, but not as good as in the same house in Hong Kong. Above all, hateful service with a waitress on the terrace angry that we did not want to follow her recommendations, aimed at raising the bill, yet consequent. The service in the United States is indexed to the price of the bill, hence his bad mood. This young woman refused even to call us a taxi: scandalous.

Very Good Cooking in Lively but Civilized Setting

By Antionio10 |

This Italian French restaurant is quite good. There are lots of pasta dishes and some of the pastas are house made. The fish dishes were outstanding. Creme berleu was good and more like a pudding. Service is good. The restaurant is elegant, but loud making conversation difficult.

Once a favorite now a miss

By Ileana B |

It pains me to give this once fav gem in Miami 3 stars but our recent dining experience for our annual wedding anniversary was a thumbs down. The only culinary highlight was the delish escargot dish, which is consistently the best in town. My rigatoni with beef ragu & sausage was tasteless and unimaginative. The tempura courgette flowers stuffed with sage and anchovies tasted like oily tater tots. The service was amateurish with our waiter cleaning and stacking our dirty dishes on our table. I’ve seen more professional service at Cheesecake Factory! What has happened to the elegant and distinguished touches that we touted and adored here? Seems like management is to blame, and the kitchen needs a rewind to your finer days. I didn’t mind spending top dollar for this restaurant then.. but now the price tag is not worthy of the second rate food and service. Sorry.....

Expensive but worth it

By Howard L |

We had steak and lamb dishes. They were perfectly cooked. Appetizers were large and beautifully prepared. The bar is small however which is a shame, since the ambience is so nice one would want to sit and enjoy.

We fell in love with the bartender!

By a9991380a |

My husband and I came for drinks after dinner, we sat at the bar and the bartender, Amaurie, was an absolute delight. he was funny and charming and made us feel extra special! We loved every cocktail he made us! he is truly an asset to your establishment! We look forward to having dinner here next time!

One of the Best restaurants in Miami

By David |

Absolutely 5 Stars from start to finish, the reservation was handled impeccably, the reception when we arrived was warm and welcoming and the delicious food beyond comparison, it should have a Michelin star!!

A Step Above!

By citizen0103 |

This is a gem. It’s French with some twists. The service is amazing. The fried Calamari was so Good, not oily, lightly floured and tender. The only problem was that the order was too small😂The lentil salad was so different and delicious. The Branzino is one of the best we’ve have had. The French Fries, a small order, were also delicious! On top of all of this, the place is beautiful!

Nice set menu for lunch

By JuJu-Dubai |

I would recommend the restaurant at lunch and dinner. But really the food is amazing and good food quality.

The best in Miami

By RenatodiCaprio |

Always very good. With a smaller menu these days due to Covid, still fantastic. Catarina is always extremely welcoming and helpful. The food is tops. And the fact that you can eat outside these days is very good.

Great Place for a Great Meal

By MCCBLU |

This restaurant has been recommended by some friends and we really enjoyed the food and service. The menu has good options and the ingredients are fresh. I highly recommend the duck with orange sauce.

Nothing special

By jokome |

I was expecting amazing French gastronomy & on my second visit (I was hoping that my first visit was an anomaly of average food) what we got again was average tasting high quality food. I recommend this restaurant for customers with conventional taste, not for gourmets or gourmands.

Just Ok, I guess I expected more...particularly as service was somewhat slow. Somewhat pricey

By World Traveler |

Ok Menu, expected more though. Service slow, room for improvement. Try the salmon carpaccio, Duck and Skirt steak with chimichurry. Nice ambience. Somewhat pricey though.

Fabulous

By Michael A |

Very stylish, upscale Brickell restaurant. Loved the burrata with pesto and pissaladiere starters, veal ragu and vongole pasta mains, delicious tiramisu to finish. Excellent service. Not cheap but good value for money.

VERY NICE RESTAURANT (UPGRADE, NOT CHEAP).

By Carlos C |

I went several times to this restaurant as it is a couple of blocks from my home. Personnel is very attentive, they have a good service, and the food is really excellent. I do recommend it though be careful, it is not a cheap place.

Best Restaurant in Miami!

By Gregory S |

My wife and I are huge foodies!! We are big on atmosphere, we are big on impeccable service, and of course, the food has to be unforgettable. We're not really THAT pretentious, but if all of those things are important to you - this place does it all. We have been twice in a month and the service is insanely good. You don't even notice the waiters and waitresses - but they are all extremely good at what they do. The duck is a must. The rib-eye ......do it. The espresso martinis....wow. If you're looking for a romantic place, a nice dinner with family or friends, your birthday with your loved one, or for an anniversary, go here.

Still the best in Miami

By RenatodiCaprio |

Still the best in Miami. Great great food, fantastic service, the best passion fruit (fresh) martini, and the food is beautiful and delicious. See the pics.

Fun spot with wonderful food

By Michelle |

What a fun and amazing place this is. We went during a Cuban pop up for an industry event. It was a bit noisy however we were told this isn’t the norm. The cocktail and wine were wonderful along with everything we had. The highlight was seeing David Beckham a few tables away. Aside from that the service and food were outstanding and we’d be back next time in Miami

Very good and nice ambiance

By patriciaDubai |

We arrived for a late lunch and had a wonderful time. Great service and food. We had the endive salad (amazing cheese), corn and pomegranate salad, fried calamari and lamb chops. For dessert cassata with raspberries. Great wine. Valet parking available, they charge 8$ to take the car to a garage or 35$ to leave it within your site. We accepted the 8$ but when we gave the valet a 10$ he didn’t even attempt to give us the change (we didn’t say, keep the change). He should have given back the change and we decide if we wanted to give him the 2$ as a tip. I know it may sound cheap but changes should be given not taken. The only small flaw is that we had to ask for bread since it was not offered. We will be back soon.

A real treat

By Happy_on_the_road |

We have eaten in the Dubai location so when life had us spending a Saturday night at the Four Seasons on Brickell, we had no doubt of where to have dinner. Fantastic service, we were not rushed at all and all details were covered. Great food. I had the sea bass and my spouse had the lamb with eggplant. We loved our appetizers, desserts, cocktails and wine too. Very attractive dining roim and we got a great tsble with essy view of all going on in the dining room and terrace.

It’s not worth it anymore

By rocco s |

I usually never write a bad review but my friend and I have been going to La petite maison now LPM many times and we were always very happy by food and service We just went for my birthday and when we sat the first thing the waiter explained is that the concept is to share your plate . As I mentioned before we have been there many times last the year before but we never had to share our plates We made the remarks to the waiter who had an answer to everything and he makes us feel like we never been there and almost like we were liars… Anyway we decided to proceed To start we had escargot, 2 of them were empty, we asked the waiter and he came back with 2 tiny escargot snails pretending they were stuck all the way down . I’m French and been eating escargot before this never happened and honestly they were missing Second start came 30 min later why ?? Was warm prawn I didn’t like it Then comes the entree , both entree in the middle of table , the sides ,snd ve our plate to put the food, imagine all that in a small table …awful At that point we did say to the manager that has been working there for many years which whom we chatted time before we went there , why this sharing ?? Same answer, it’s always been like this and so on Again we explained that we were going there before and we never had to Anyway you will think that they could have said no problem then will accommodate and you don’t have to , but never ever that was suggested, almost like they didn’t care ???! At that point we gave up and didn’t want to make a scene but very disappointed for an high end restaurant The food was okay but not great like it use to be . Doesn’t taste like authentic French niçois food to me … too bad Too expensive for that type of service and attitude Will never go back unless the all management change Big disappointment

Meets Expectations

By NHFLSKT |

With a big reputation and lots of chatter here and elsewhere about the food, ambiance and service, there is not a lot to add. The food is very good (definitely share plates), the service solid without being obsequious. It’s crowded but not particularly noisy even along the two person banquettes. The prices are steep but not outrageous. I believe they should strengthen the offering by having a few more mid-priced wines. Plenty of offerings from $250-$5,000+ (that is not a typo) but more selection in the $50-100 range would be desirable. But overall, it’s hard to complain and we would definitely return to this place.

La grande dégustation dans la petite maison!

By Epicurienne_Quebec |

——- Nice welcome and relaxed atmosphere. We were 5. Sitting at the outdoor terrace but well protected from the wind despite a 25 degree Celsius. The restaurant was full but a good friend, a regular customer, was able to book a table a few hours ago. Services, at all levels, nothing to do! Drink: We started with a good champagne, followed by a chateau-neuf-du-pape during the meal then, whiskey and cognac as a digestive. Various entry to share: snails, tuna tartares and caviar, marinated peppers. Dishes: Tomato gnocchi, grilled veal chop, grilled entrecote and orange duck. On the side; fries, salads, broccoli. Dessert: crème brûlée for all! For 5 people, almost $ 1000. It's a fair price for this type of restaurant and the quality of the food.

Best of Miami

Consistently wonderful. Fantastic food. Incredible service. Beautiful, welcoming, comfortable and delicious. One of my favorite places.

Sophisticated place

La Petite Maison is a sophisticated place to eat in Miami, the food are really exquisite and the team very friendly. A place to go when you visit Miami.

Good food and ambiance, very poor service

By Charles025 |

This restaurant is located in the Brickell area within a condo building and is said to belong to former employees of Zuma restaurant. Good papardelle with beef ragout, Turbot and potatoes au gratin. The problem was the staff: the hostess “made me a favor” by pointing me to the bar while the table was ready and then to take me there. Our waiter decided to up the size (and price) of the Turbot from 160 dollars to 250 without asking anybody after reading back the order with the small Turbot included. When I ordered a French burgundy wine from the list he said that they had no bottles because they use it as per glass wine too.....

Great Food, Service not so good

By Michael A |

We always try to eat here when we are in Miami. It's a very nice touch that the restaurant booking system knows what table we have had before and that made us feel like valued customers. The food was as good as ever; delicious salad to start and veal ragout, linguine mains. Unfortunately the service/kitchen experience was a let down. After an hour and a half we had received a cold starter and were still waiting for our mains. Eventually it arrived with the limp explanation that the pasta station had been backed up (seriously?). The maitre d' included a free dessert and excluded the starter from the bill, which we appreciated. But instead of being ignored, an explanation for the delay would have been appreciated whilst it was ongoing and maybe the offer of a drink or an extra starter whilst we waited? This experience would not stop us returning and we accept that mistakes can happen but we didn't think this was handled as well as it could have been.

One of the best in Miami.

By Stanley G |

One of the finest restaurants on the Miami dining scene. Upscale, expensive and absolutely worth the price of admission. My only complaint is a glass of California Chardonnay is priced at $30. We had ratatouille and escargot as appetizers . Delicious. Grilled chicken and sea bass with French fries as our entrees. Excellent. Dessert was French toast and apple tart with ice cream. Perfect meal including two bottles of $150 California wine for party of four was $780.

$170 Chicken and unfriendly reservation process?! $250 a person----Best to avoid.

By Carl J |

If you want to be treated like a peasant come to la Petite Maison---spend $250++ a person......The reservation system and hostess confront you with to be sure you are finished with table service inside of 2 hours---its actually annoying----and we had 20% of tables empty there other night 2nd visit there--------maybe they will get the message..., The food is good--don't worry----But the service is brusque--kind of rude---they seem to purposely bump into your chair and interrupt any conversation..maybe that is a French thing.... We had the $52 tuna tartar and the $160+ chicken(it was at best 3 of 5 stars) and $30 escargot --which are canned but decent --Glasses on white wine were $40 --so we opted for the $180 Chardonnay that is $55 in the store...I think this restaurant fails miserably--absolute rude reservation process--front desk on entry condescends and the wait staff were oblivious to a fine dining experience----I would recommend going only if you believe this place will not be open in 3 months---AVOID. 4 people over $1000 and if you go please bump back the waiters for us...we'd appreciate.. Didn't wait for dessert the 2nd time around....Sorry---but truth is a defense.

The Good, The Bad, and The Ugly

By MrCoralGables |

The place is really beautiful, and we thought the red cocktail with the black pepper treatment was one of the coolest things ever and the bread was excellent! On the other hand, we found the food to be just ok. What really bothered me, though, was that the server brought the check as we were putting the first bite of dessert in our mouths. What a witch! On the other hand, maybe the management tells them to hurry people up to turn over the tables. I really can't figure it out..... but what I do know is to pay over $100 a person and to get this treatment is unacceptable in my book. I cannot remember the last time this happened to me. Talk about a lack of hospitality! I cannot, in good faith, recommend this place because of this. It really ruined the end of the meal, and I felt in such a rush. I can't remember the last time this happened to me... maybe in like 2005 when I was a college student. Anyway, this is not what American hospitality is about.... I wasn't asking to sit there and sit on their porch for hours on end sipping sweet tea.... we weren't even there 2 hours at that point. I'm embarrassed for them.

Business Lunch

By Brad B |

The food and service are amazing. It's located conveniently on Brickell Bay Drive. Do not be in a hurry, and bring your fat wallet or a stout credit card! It's very good and expensive.

Great food, super expensive

By Neal M |

I recently ate dinner at Le Petite Maison with my family, and it lived up to its reputation. The food was simply scrumptious. Everything we ate was excellent; my wife and kids still are talking about the escargots. But the prices were extremely high, to put it mildly. There literally is a chicken dish on the menu for $160 (maybe it comes with a golden egg?), and that wasn’t the only item on the menu with a similar price tag. Dinner for two adults and two kids was almost $400. I loved the food, but not that much. This is a great restaurant if you are going with an expense account.

Saturday night out

By JerseyGirlinMIA |

Beautiful restaurant, excellent drinks, wonderful service at the bar and at the main dining room. We tried a few dishes and everything was delicious.

Worse experience ever !!!

By singleman1980 |

We ordered some appetizers and entrees (squid (pas de sauce tartar) nothing that goes with it , ratatouille, burrata , canard à l’orange, ribeye steak and the linguine with gambas and clams , when we got the food I was served a papardelle with a beef ragout, a total disappointment , when I asked the manager, he told me He’ll go to the kitchen And will have them make me the linguine with gambas and clams that i wanted , 2min later he comes back telling me, I’m sorry but the chef turned off the hot water where he cooks the pasta and the kitchen is closed , I can take the papardelle back , or leave it here, there’s nothing I can do for you ! No more hot food , only desserts .. it was my first time at this location, I have been to the one in Dubai and the one in London, I’m a world traveler and a big gastronome ... i have never seen this before in my whole life.... how can you tell a patron having dinner at your restaurant , sorry but the kitchen closed when I just received my plate that was a mistake ... I don’t know what to say , I was speechless .. in shock ... I had a horrible experience , even my friends didn’t know what to do , and I was the one that suggested the place .

French cuisine done right and top motch service

By carlosdieppa |

This restaurant is one of the most consistent in town for getting a great meal. They make the french classics in a modern way light and vibrant. Good for business lunches or special occasions.

Extraordinary

By Am M |

Excellent restaurant with great service. All dishes from our group were done to perfection. Appetizers and entrees. This is a difficult task and it was done flawlessly. Shrimps, escargot, beans, burrada, dorado fish, rissoto, desserts. All perfect

La Petite Maison - very good, bordering on VERY expensive

By byMT305 |

La Petite Maison Miami (other locations in London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, & Hong Kong) is a fancy little French bistro located in a fancy part of the Brickell Avenue area of Miami. It's stylish, upscale, and pricey -- while entrees such as Duck(Canard) L'Orange ($32) and salads ($15) are "reasonable" in their pricing, be warned that other items eg. 14 oz. a la carte Ribeye steak ($78) and House Special Whole Roast Chicken ($160) are more stratospheric. This restaurant is professionally managed by the Zuma Group (well-known in Miami) which brings with them their somewhat annoying policy of "The Table is yours for 2 hours" policy -- this limitation does not crimp our (dinning) style, but it does strike a note of being inhospitable. The interior is stylish, the seating/tables very comfortable, and the service/servers are all very nice. In a very tall-ceiling'd room, the sound/music is very loud on a recent, crowded Saturday night. We tried the following (Note: The food is served as it prepared i.e. appetizers arrive one-by-one; this is good for a "sharing style" dinner, more so than everyone-gets-their-meal at once dinner): Complimentary fresh tomato, lemon, olive oil on-the-table - nice! Complimentary bread server - tasty French bread slices Vieux carre - rye whiskey, bitters, cognac cocktail - very tasty! house margarita - good (but not their best drink here) Green bean and artichoke salad w/ mustard vinaigrette -- very tasty salad!! Onion tart - a rich, thin tart of caramelized onions -- a perfect sharing starter for 2-4 people, but too rich/too much for 1 person -- a tasty appetizer for sure! Grilled tiger prawns ($49.50) - 4 large, imported prawns grilled with Mediterranean spices -- my opinion: over-priced, and not my favorite flavors in this a la carte entree Duck L'Orange - 2 duck leg/thighs w/ a wedge of cooked cabbage - very tasty Potato au gratin - made-from-scratch casserole, but made-in-a-hurry -- the potatoes were under-cooked, and cream was not properly baked-into the potatoes Warm chocolate mousse w/ malt ice cream -- tasty flavors, but the dessert was like an overly liquidy molten chocholate cake dessert -- again made-to-order, but it seemed hurried/under-baked, and would have been much better with another 5 minutes in the oven In summary, La Petite Maison has some hits & some misses, some food/drink items that (by expensive Miami standards) seem reasonably priced & some quite over-priced. It does capably fit the category of stylish/upscale French bistro (of which there are not very many in Miami). Bottom line: Go if you can afford it; when in the mood, I'd go back.

Outstanding Service

By Robert S |

Reading some of the reviews on service I was concerned. Should not have been. The service was impeccable. Friendly, prompt, imformative it just could not have been better. Had the octopus which was excellent, the fried squid which was just average; gnocchi which was good and the sea bass which was just average. It should have been much better for a restaurant of this calibre. Potatos gratin easily the best I have ever tasted. I have to ding them a bit on the rating because for the price the sea bass should have been perfect.

Incredible Dining Experience

By Anna C |

We have been to this fine restaurant a few times and have never been disappointed. Although expensive, it is well worth it as the service, top quality cuisine and ambience are perfection.

Really good food

By Iri_daiquiri |

This place mmmmm ... yammy . I had a sweet peppers in olive oil , warm prawns with olive oil and Whole Sea Bream . Everything was soo tasty . You can tell that they use the best ingredients , coz even simple dishes taste soo amazingly good, and yet it’s very simple , no heavy sauces ,no hidden sugars , no fat , just really good honest food . I can’t wait to come back!!!

Amazing cocktails, food & service - the attention to detail in this place is incredible!

LPM is the moment! The beautiful ambience, friendly service & quality ingredients made for an unforgettable experience! Be sure to save this for your next trip to Miami- this spot is a MUST try! The drinks: - Maman - Tribute - Jean à Jean - Homme au Café - Madeleine 1957 The food: - Burrata et Tomatoes - Crevettes tiedes a l'Huile d'Olive - Gâteau au Formage Frais - Mousse au Chocolat Chaud et Glace à l'Orge

Best French restaurant in Town

By traveler892018 |

If you go to LPM make sure you order the burrata the prawns and the chocolate desserts. They are all to die for and I believe they are their signature dishes. The service is elegant and refined. perfect place for celebration

Good food, terrible service

By Elvira L |

The food is pretty expensive but must say it was good. The service was horrible. First of all they gave us a table right between the kitchen and the terrace door so the constant traffic of waiters did not stop. They were passing chairs over the guest tables. Horrible. Our waiter wanted us to leave soon. He took the appetizer platter before we were finished. We had to ask more than three times to serve water. We had the feeling of constant rush. The place was highly recommended but it did not meet our expectations. When you go out to dinner you want to enjoy a relax ambiance rather that being pushed to leave the restaurant. Never again

Lunch or dinner a great meal always

By Floridagal65 |

First time for lunch. Had been there for dinner a few times. Food was excellent as usual and coming for a weekend lunch was an enjoyable casual experience although be aware the prices are not so casual. Servers and service as expected. One suggestion- if you have a 12:30 pm reservation be aware that the restaurant opens at 12:30 and you will not be seated until 12:30

Branzino Heaven!

By Robin K |

we walked into the school this stylish restaurant! The outdoor dining and beautiful Terrace was so inviting and was candlelit and very inviting. Nicoletta our server from Italy was excellent, and so helpful. Even the maître d’ was so accommodating. TheBRANZINO could’ve been one of the best I’ve ever had, and reminded me of being in Capri! We also had a fantastic mushroom risotto and a corn and pomegranate salad. Everything was excellent. The entire experience was one of the best in South Florida!!! Bravo to the owners from the UAE to bring a new culinary expense experience to the table. We will go back!

Excellent restaurant!

By BeatrizG2 |

My first time and not my last, loved everything about this restaurant. We didn’t have reservations on a Thursday night, they were accommodating and gave us a table inside in 20 minutes. The service, menu and overall experience was excellent!

Beware: good food thwarted by unfortunate attitude

By Matilda |

We were excited to visit LPM on a Monday because we usually end up driving to Bal Harbour or Coral Gables for good French fare bistro-style in Miami. However, our excitement quickly came to an end when, as soon as we walked in the door escaping from pouring rain, the first comment that came from the hostess was not welcome, or thanks for coming, but that “for next time” we should refrain from using sneakers since LPM’s dress code is smart casual. Then she quickly sat us at our reserved table, but by then the experience was already spoiled by the unwelcoming “welcome” to a place where you know you’re about to spend at least $200 for lunch. Having said that, we should clarify we are not rowdy teenagers in tank tops wearing torn up shoes but two men who are 50 and 40 year old, wear fashion sneakers that cost north of $600 and, in general, feel we dress pretty smartly. I actually took the liberty of walking around the restaurant and seeing about half of the patrons were wearing upscale sneakers, as ours, and none were dressed down in a way that is detrimental to the restaurant’s ambience. Did everyone get the obnoxious warning as they entered, or was it just us? So, yes the food’s good, but the lame 1980’s attitude of demanding the wearing of hard sole shoes and denigrating modern comfortable footwear, seems outdated and off. Especially if you’re paying for an expensive lunch, and in Miami, of all places.

Sharing is caring

By Florence E |

Very popular ding room so. you need a reservation. Food is like my grand mother kitchen very tasty simple and Mediterranean. For the service they put everything in the center of the table and you share if you like it,

not worth it

By sandrabch |

I'd heard it was a super place and maybe I went with the high expectations. The service wasted, they took a long time to bring the cocktails. The food comes out when it's ready, then they serve uneven. I wouldn't come back

Exquisite

By Deluxpinion |

I had lunch there as it had been strongly recommended by a friend who is a great cook. The food is outstanding. I had a great salad of strignbeans with artichoke hearts, there were a lot more beans than hearts in mine, but still absolutely tasty, could not stop eating them. My main dish was duck a l'orange which was out of this world and the creme brûlée was absolutely divine. The people watching was fun because this restaurant attracts models/actress and their entourage decked out in McQueen and Versace. The only trouble is the time. It took 2 1/2 hours to go through the three courses and most of the time was spent waiting for the next one to arrive, so be prepared for a whole afternoon investment.

Disappointed!!

By Karl L |

I took my wife to La Petite Maison on her 50th birthday. Although we were very punctual, they seated lots of people before us, so we had to stand around and wait. And then the birthday cake, which I had arranged with the restaurant before, wasn't brought to our table. Instead we had to listen to the wait staff singing happy birthday to others in the restaurant. Very strange, as they had asked for the spelling of her name for the cake presentation. Must be new managers, which seem very poor, because this restaurant used to have good service. We won't go there again in a hurry.

Hits all the right notes

By Saffron |

Love this restaurant. French Mediterranean consistently prepared every time. Highlights are escargot and Branzino which can easily be shared by four. Good wine list with exceptional French whites Service is highly professional and refined. Always a delight.

The best and closest restaurant to Nice Cote d'Azur in Miami :)

By Albert N |

Great service, great food, great atmosphere, great people. But not for the budget minded. The bartender is extremely professional although still very convivial, the wine captain is excellent, the waiter is great (with the help of the Maitre d' and the Manager). Altogether a fantastic experience that I cannot wait to renew.

Bad experience

By Sightsee29120134811 |

The food is good, one hour 15 minutes to have the main course, entrees in 40 minutes. The manager said to me the time for the branch is 2 hours…

Elegant but service is over-attentive and annoying

By Drivexx |

The place is beautiful with amazing lighting and strange table decor of tomatoes and lemons! The food is really good, very classic French, and the cocktails are among the best in Miami. What is annoying though is that every few minutes a server comes to fill your water glass, your wine glass, ask if everything is all right (several times), ask this ask that etc. It is truly annoying when you are trying to have a romantic date and in fact we skipped the main course and went straight to dessert (to finish off the bottle of wine) and left because of this.

Brickell Gem

By antoinedj |

Its hidden away but worth the trip. With a small patio but not much of a view, I would only recommend sitting inside. The space is a beautiful bistro style design. Very French off course with an open kitchen. I would recommend the bar as they not only have the best drinks but the best bartender in Miami.

An elegant food option

By ChiefWolf |

Excellent French food, very good service, but a little pricey. Have been twice and both times were consistently good. Also, menu items and presentation are creative, starting with the edible tomatoes & lemon “center piece”. We’ll return.

Must if you have $ in Brickel

By JCM |

This fine restaurant in brickel area is just a good spot well designed well serve French cousin, I’ve been related to Miami for the last 40 years and I have seen many good places but this one was a surprise!! The chicke. With lemon spice was delicious as well the burrata, the lentel salad unique, I did like the raw tomatoes they where at the table as starter, the chocolate cake one of my favorites, it’s expensive a bit to expensive, but if you want a good food in a nice place definitely this could be your choice

Enjoyable

By ymichal |

Atmosphere was low key elegance. I noticed families with children, couples, business people, basically a mix of everything. Nothing pretentious, very comfortable. I liked the various artwork on the wall, added punches of color and interest among the neutral tone of room(s). Service was friendly, attentive and knowledgeable. The Sommelier could have asked more questions and give a bit more options but overall fine. Wine selection impressive but many expensive choices, would like to have some options not quite that expensive (but still quality). Food was pretty standard French fair. Escargot were excellent, had to order seconds! Menu had one or maybe options of each: fish, meat, chicken and vegan. Meal was well cooked and had lovely flavors. No complaints, all done well. Nice selection of deserts. Overall a very good meal and service.

Good atmosphere

By W7698XNtt |

The atmosphere very nice, the attention very good but food versus the price is not worth. Duck in orange was not really chewy and it was too sweet.

WELL BELOW AVERAGE SERVICE

By MiguelABV |

The whole thing is beautiful; excellent place, food delicious, drinks very good; BUT service is well below average This is an expensive place and service is what a Burger King would expect..... very disappointing.... Will not be coming back....

Phenomenal service and food

By anitravels93 |

The service and food was absolutely amazing. We were a large group - all servers were incredibly helpful ensuring our plates were full at all times. The food was exquisite in particular the yellowtail carpaccio, octopus carpaccio, onion tart and the baby chicken. The creme brûlée and warm chocolate mousse were also divine. Great house wine and overall a lovely restaurant - would highly recommend.

Small and cozy French restaurant

By Katie |

For the Thursday night it was pretty busy. Hostess doing a great job ! They was so nice and kind . Felt so welcomed? Great customer service . So good food and so good cocktails menu.

Food has gone down a bit!

By BB1938 |

This restaurant has changed quite a bit. First, it is VERY difficult to get a reservation on weekends, and if you do not show up they charge $50. The food is not as I remembered back in 2017. They seem to be in a rush, and the food is far from gourmet. I would say nowadays it is for the bar-scene young crowd. Probably fun, but not fine dining.

Amazing - top to bottom!

By 832dublin202 |

One of the best restaurants we have eaten at! Everything from the drinks, to the apps, to the main courses, to the desert were excellent. LPM is very unique and a place that you must eat at while in Miami / Brickell.

Self absorbed and overpriced for what it is. Not horrible, however.

By Barbie F |

When a restaurant is known by an acronym it’s a tell. When a restaurant doesn’t allow corkage it’s a fog horn and you’d better have the chips! “LPM” doesn’t. We enjoy our food and our wine. We have eaten at numerous Michelin 1*, multiple 2* and a handful of 3*. LPM doesn’t rate anywhere near them and unless you are offering tasting menus with wine pairings and are rated 2* or better you should allow corkage. Instead you are forced to buy wine at 4-5X mark up which takes the joy out of the wine and leaves a bitter aftertaste. We weren't even graced with the sommelier's presence after buying an overpriced 2021 Chablis at $200. I mean, $200 buys a nice wine pairing at highly rated restaurants which LPM isn’t and won’t be. The service, overall, was good but not without significant failures. For example, our wine was not opened and poured until at least five minutes after our appetizers arrived. So we sat there waiting without trying the appetizers! The staff are courteous but there is no real warmth, rather an underlying sense of hubris if not arrogance. Our two appetizers (sliced octopus and endive salad) were the best courses of the night. Our two main courses were disappointing and priced at a level where you expect something exceptional and properly cooked. Each main course failed respectively. The Chilean Sea Bass was overcooked and the Tiger prawns were bland. The side veggies were nice but again at the price, not impressive. $12 for green beans? Another good tell is the restroom environment. Here, the decor is plain and by the second visit there were paper towels littering the floors. Classic of the type of clientele they serve. Snobbish at best. This restaurant is an overpriced self absorbed pass.

Nice decor, attentive service

By yvonne s |

Nice decor, attentive service at a very high price. Large selection of very expensive entrees most in the $75-$100+ range. Some of the servings are shareable but we were not impressed with the food. Drinks are I. The high teen or over $20. Wine selections by the bottle extensive but don’t puck the least expensive as they have run out of it. Overall good experience but not interested in going back. $Some of the Sri

Does the name justice

By luxurytravelenjoyer |

When I used to live in London, The Mayfair branch was one of my favorite restaurants in town. The burrata and French toast were classics and must haves. The Miami location was a perfect rendering and executes on a similarly high level. The decor is more airy and open but retains the charm and style of the London location. Cool part of town and will definitely be returning any time I’m in Miami.

Fabulous again

By Michael A |

It was great to return here 2 yrs after our last visit to Miami. Not much had changed at LPM by the looks of it and we were shown to the same table and possibly had the same server. Happily, excellent food, friendly service and an enjoyable atmosphere still characterise this upmarket French restaurant. We started with burrata and then had the seafood linguine and the veal ragu, before finishing with the apple tarte. Altogether, it was delicious. Loved the slightly blingy clientele and the people watching, even if we will never know how the double date at the next table got on...

An excellent restaurant

By Wandering Foodie |

Every time I am in Miami I eat at LPM at least once. It’s a wonderful place. The food is great and the service is attentive. Their formula is sharing and food comes out as it’s ready. I recommend the sea bream and the sea bass (Bronzino). The lamb is also excellent. I am working my way around the entire menu and I don’t think I will be disappointed. Their desserts are also very good. I recommend the creme brûlée. But be warned, it’s big enough for 4 people. The wine list is extensive and varied. The welcome on arrival is warm and hospitable. If I have one criticism, it’s that they keep reminding you that your table is for a two-hour slot. It’s clear when you book, it doesn’t need to be repeated when they confirm. But that doesn’t detract from an overall excellent evening out.

Great service and food

By SFOPeter |

Waiter made excellent recommendations, they were very accommodating of my wife's gluten allergy, and the food was amazing, especially the lamb.

Top of the line

By Kal H |

Best place ever!! Went with my wife for our 5th anniversary. Chef Javier was immaculate and the service provided was simply outstanding! Tonight was definitely one of our favorites, we usually try to find our go-to's for each occasion and we definitely found our anniversary favorite!! Summy the maitre d was just superb and went beyond to accommodate our requests,

Very disappointing

By Laura S |

The food was good but the service was terrible--long waiting period between courses and our server was MIA. The noise level was deafening--it was impossible to carry on a conversation. Very unsophisticated on all levels when compared to other locations of La Petite Maison.

Rushed experience

By Sunshine |

Beautiful restaurant, with an eclectic menu, but from the moment we sat down we felt rushed to order our drinks, our entree, and then our desserts. At $300 a couple, with an upfront credit card for a reservation, their guests should have the option to dine and not be rushed.

Would rather have use leave then seat us inside when the restaurant is empty

By Rachel W |

I would give it zero stars if you're black or a darker POC. Do not come here they will treat you incredibly bad. We are regular customers FOR YEARS, we order their food constantly. We made reservations days before for dinner. We get there there are TONS of empty tables and they refuse to seat us insides. The man we spoke with Jacob was incredibly rude and has such a poor attitude. They claimed we made a reservation for outside but of course we didn't and the reservation does not mention outdoor seating. Disgusting treatment. They should be ashamed! We will NEVER come back. Spend your time and money else where. We went to Novikov instead and AS ALWAYS were welcomed so warmly and all our needs were met and expectations exceeded. As usual.

You are rushed from the minute you arrive

By Ayman H |

Way over rated food and you are given a 2 hour time limit at the door. Way better Resturants in Miami.

CHAOS

By Robert D |

Welcoming vibe with great food

By AFoodieDMV |

I’m not sure how I haven’t been here before but love love love! The hostesses were very welcoming; Sophia helped us and was not only a very attentive server, she was very engaging (but not too much), charismatic and professional. Service was excellent. The restaurant is charming - I will say the 2-tops are crammed in together but think they did a good job spacing parties out. We didn’t have “neighbors” until the end of our meal. So happy they offered Ruinart by the glass. I appreciated the fresh baked bread that was offered warm, individually rather than an entire basket. They have tomatoes and a lemon with a knife on your table for you to freely cut, as well as a bottle of olive oil & balsamic. Favorites: the lentil salad - RUN to order it. I omitted the apple but was flavorful and layered with fennel, celery and onion & perfectly cooked lentils. I would have ordered this as an entree. The yellowtail carpaccio was also a winner, as was the chicken. Sophia did warn us that some parts would be pink, but I despite the pink color - some of the meat closer to the bone had a slightly uncooked texture so we skipped that part. The gem salad was ok…I felt like it was missing anchovies or capers. The gnocchi was perfectly made and cooked - my only complaint is that the sauce was too sweet. I was expecting more of a tomato forward, not sweet flavor. My husband ordered the sea bass - I thought it was good but he did not love. We ate too much to try desserts but will absolutely come back. I also appreciate that they had a special menu where a portion of the proceeds supports breast cancer this month. This restaurant is definitely worth the drive from the beach.

Birthday Dinner

By Linda R |

I came to visit my daughter in Miami for her birthday. She chose this restaurant for her birthday dinner and it was a good choice. The ambiance is perfect: good lighting, not noisy, great decor, and excellent servers. The food is delicious. We ordered off of the Miami Spice menu, loved the ratatouille and everything else we ordered.

Great food and atmosphere, but the new Sunday Brunch concept is ill conceived.

By Wandering Foodie |

I had my first meal at LPM about 6 years ago and I loved it. I have enjoyed every meal there since. The atmosphere is always great. It’s a busy fun place. They serve great drinks and have an impressive wine list. The service is variable. Most of the time you get an attentive waiter but occasionally she or he appears harassed and consequently the service is rushed and not as friendly. The food is very good quality French fare. Not haute cuisine but that’s not why you go to LPM. Try the calamars frits, the marinated sweet peppers, the cauliflower salad or the green bean salad with artichokes from the hors d’oeuvers menu. From ‘Les Plats’ try the grilled Chilean sea bass, the bream, or the grilled filet steak. The lamb cutlets and the duck a l’orange are also very good. The gratin and the fries are delicious sides. Leave room for the exquisite French style apple tart. The one and only disappointment is the Sunday brunch. Too much going on, far too much food and it feels a little chaotic. Some of the dishes in the brunch menu are excellent, but we don’t need so many dishes. Perhaps move away from the formulaic choices and make it more flexible and adaptable. In summary, if you haven’t been please go. If you’ve been, go again… but go somewhere else on Sundays.

Great for date night!

By Odyssey63479166110 |

The French food was beautiful and the staff really made our dinner extra fabulous! We enjoyed poring over the well edited wine and spirits list. Our server (Jose) was attentive, but didn't hover. My husband and I liked comparing notes with the sommelier - who made great wine recommendations. We never felt rushed, and enjoyed a leisurely 3 courses paired with wine. I highly recommend this place for anyone who loves French food or who has an interest in French wines.

Excellent

By OBofNY |

We were very impressed with everything about this upscale restaurant. There was no shortage of well trained and attentive staff. The food was excellent and the ambiance was as nice as it gets. While this was our first visit, it certainly won’t be the last. As a matter of fact, we even made a reservation for next week!

Great Food, Great Ambience

La Petite Maison is a pretty restaurant, with great food and service. The atmosphere is romantic. Seafood was perfectly cooked and served.

A really pleasant experience.

By Andrew G |

We sat on the covered terrace noisy but fun. Excellent welcome from juliet who helped eith a wheelchair. Yes there is a ramp. Superb friendly service from Daylenis after we got her name and from Adam the sommelier. Wines are pricy but not stupid. Great tapenade. We shared a condition de canard. Up to french standards. Gift tomatoes fir a do it yourself salad. Good idea! Just a happy vfm evening.

food from heaven!

By Martine C |

We have eaten here three times in the last week of our Miami vacation. The room is beautiful, the food incredible, the service not perfect,to have to ask for iced tea, bread and water- well that's just odd for such a great restaurant?Who ever is in charge of the kitchen does an impeccable job,who ever runs the service needs serious help. Enough of that, let me tell you about the food.We have tried lots of items on the menu, the ratatouille- chilled eggplant, peppers, zucchini, tomato, herbs and olive oil was perfect, roasted beets with a hint of sweet orange was perfect, delicate baby lettuce leaves dressed perfectly, french onion tart beautiful pastry topped with an onion jam and a drop of anchovy incredible, pasta with baby clams and chopped shrimp in a delicate seafood broth- the only thing I can say is there may have been an eighth of One shrimp chopped up into the dish and I must say this restaurant is pricey so maybe the chef will rethink this dish, turbot with vegetables a little piece of braised fennel and artichoke in a sauce that was so delicious it is indescribable, hanger steak that melted in my husband's mouth topped with a chimichurri, and lastly the French fries- this kitchen takes hours to prepare these little beauties, cutting, soaking, re frying 3 or 4 times to achieve perfection!! Well I hope this wet your appetite enough to try this incredible restaurant. One thing that is unique- 3 tomatoes a lemon ,olive oil sits on every table with a great serrated knife for all to slice up and enjoy,a little sea salt a pinch of pepper and a slice of the homemade French bread and I promise you will be in heaven!!

Great Black Truffle Rigatoni and aged carré d'agneau

By Patricio G |

The duck legs were also superb. The ambiance is not as nice as other high-end restaurants, but it was still nice. As in most high-end restaurants the portions are quite small. The aged carré d'agneau was expensive, but worth it.

Check Your Credit Card Statement After Dining Here

By El Chevere |

My $18 bar tab tip was allegedly "accidentally" entered as $180 by LPM via separate line entry AFTER I had signed the original credit card slip. They credited back this overcharge after I caught it and called them out on what seems like an intentional--not accidental--error. Let’s do the math: $87 total charge minus $18 tip came to $69, yet I was charged $267 on my credit card. If the $18 was accidentally entered as $180, subtract that from $267 and you get $67–not the actual $69 charge above. The numbers don’t match. What they really did was charge me the full $87, which included the original $18 tip, and then went out of their way to charge me an additional $180 tip hoping I’m someone who does not check their statements. Check your bill and credit card charge from this shyster outfit.

Beautiful elegant and fun

By Sherpa778046 |

The food is amazing, the real flavor of the south of France, one of its uniqueness is that you are encouraged to share, this way all at the table have the chance to taste more than their own choice!! On the expensive side, if you do order wine do look at the price first

We have gone to lpm since it opened many years ago, today we were more than disappointed!!! We waited for 2.5 hours to get our entres and the general manager was not helpful at all. Food wise worst time as well!!! Terrible experience for the high price you pay!!! Not coming back !!!

Fun , fresh , fabulous !

A wonderful restaurant which brings all the lightness and freshness of the south of France to Miami ! Excellent and various starters.... ( choose lots and share ) Loved it !!!

LPM Miami - outstanding upscale Brickell-area French bistro

By byMT305 |

Located in the Brickell-area of Miami (and with locations in Las Vegas, Dubai, Doha, etc.), LPM is an outstanding, upscale French bistro with excellent food, drink, service, and ambiance. LPM does a brisk business throughout the week; reservations are highly recommended. On a recent visit (we chose lively indoor seating, though patio is also very nice), and enjoyed: Vieux carre - a classic whiskey, cognac, vermouth cocktail - yum “House” Margarita - perfect Mushroom risotto “entree” - we split this as an appetizer - delicious! Duck L’orange - succulent delicious here!! Lamb cutlets - scrumptious seasoning!! Grilled sea bass w/ olives, spices on top - yum Potatoes au gratin - mouthwatering! Apple tart with vanilla ice cream - outstanding!! Drinks, dinner, dessert, tax, tip would certainly be in the range of $150 per person (with the food here being delicious! and the dinning experience being wonderful). Bottom line: VERY highly recommended; I can’t wait to return!

LPM Miami – Some Hits, Some Misses

By Carrera-Scott |

I had high expectations coming into LPM Miami, and while the experience was overall enjoyable, it had its ups and downs. The prawns were highly recommended, so I was excited to try them—but honestly, they were a bit boring. Nothing bad, just not particularly memorable. On the other hand, the Chilean sea bass was excellent—perfectly cooked, flavorful, and definitely the highlight of the meal. The green beans were surprisingly great—firm, fresh, and well-seasoned, which is always a nice touch when a simple side is done right. The ambiance was lively but classy, and the service was solid—attentive but not intrusive. The menu has some definite standouts, but not everything lived up to the hype. Would I go back? Probably, but I’d be more selective with what I order.

excellent environment and service

can find any defect which for me is difficult to do. perfect balance between quality, service and value

Top Miami Spice lunch

By marcio K |

We were very pleased with our lunch at the Petite Maison. The place is very well decorated. My wife and I were very well received by a nice gentleman who just came from their Dubai venue. The service was of high quality and so was the food.Nice touches like you-make-your-own salad with tomatoes already at your table enhanced the experience. My only recommendation is not to offer 4oz glasses of wine ,6 is the norm around here.

Overpriced and Underwhelming: Disappointing Dining Experience at La Petite Maison

By Zipi |

La Petite Maison offers decent Italian food – fresh and pleasant, but nothing extraordinary. The restaurant is beautifully designed, with a nice atmosphere and excellent service from polite and attentive staff. However, there’s one major issue that detracts from the overall experience: when making a reservation, diners are informed of a $200 deposit per person, only to discover upon arrival that this amount is actually the minimum charge per guest, regardless of what is ordered from the menu. Moreover, the venue itself is neither particularly festive nor unique or luxurious enough to justify such a price, regardless of the time of year. The overall experience falls short of expectations and does not offer value for the exorbitant cost, leaving a sense of disappointment. In summary, the restaurant is not recommended for those seeking a memorable or worthwhile dining experience.

Great fish and bartenders

By ayocricket |

We sit at the bar and eat dinner here a few times a month. The customer service is great, they remember us when we come in and the bartenders feel like friends. We’ve never had a bad experience. The whole fish is a must have. I also like the escargot and seasonal favs beans appetizer. Please bring back! Also the beignets are great. We’ve eaten in the dining room three times and had great experiences as well.

Floridas best French!

By danielsalazarg |

it’s been a wonderful experience, the best escargots I have ever had, the sea bream was amazing you just have got to ask for it Very good place! A must while in Miami!

To do....to do again!

By francois06 |

An exceptional evening! A personal with little care, a cozy atmosphere and especially dishes more delicious than each other. And thank you to the team for the birthday cheescake accompanied by a masterful happy birthday! Unforgettable!!!

Overpriced

By Snudge08 |

We visited during a recent Miami trip, having previously eaten years ago at the original in Nice and more recently at the London restaurant. The restaurant is much larger that it looks from the pictures on the website, so not as intimate and cosy as you might expect, although the space is well decorated. Our dishes were as follows: - Pissaladiere (bland and totally lacking in anchovies) - Veal stuffed mediterranean vegetables (nice) - Tuna Tartare (nice but small) - Turbot with artichokes, chorizo & white wine x 2 (nice enough but small) Overall the food was reasonable, but vastly overpriced. Wine likewise. We noticed that there were a high number of staff for the number of customers (even though the restaurant was nearly full), and many of the staff seemed to be standing around chatting to one another rather than doing anything to enhance the customer experience. Our impression was that the steep prices were to cover the unnecessarily high number of staff. They could provide the same customer service at more reasonable prices by rectifying this imbalance.

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!

By Shenasi |

This is the most ridiculous waiting time I ever have in my entire live in Miami. The wait time in between main course and dessert it was 30 minutes. We order a glass of cabernet to the waiter twice and 1 time to the sommelier who is “apparently the manager “ today. Every server was passing by our table and looking but NOBODY stop by and ask how they can help. After 30 minutes waiting, I called the manager and the server and we complained about the disastrous service they provided. Believe me , my husband never complained about any service and he was explosive for the way they treated us. This is unbelievable that after that they just want for us to seat and “relax” because 2 desserts that we didn’t have the chance to order are coming. Literally, we requested the bill and we left the place with very bad feedback. It is unbelievable the service in this place, and the most dangerous part is they don’t respect the costumers. Very sad what is the current situation for La Petit Maison in Miami. They should take customers feedback seriously and not try to buy them with “ some awful desserts they choose” . Never again will visiting this place and we hope for God sake they pay attention 😡

Pricey but Delicious

By Tbyrich |

The restaurant was recommended by several people who all commented about the prices- yes there is a chicken for $160 ( meant to share) but there is also a chicken breast for $26 that was memorable. Three people shared the calamari, green bean and artichoke salad, tuna carpaccio, veal bolognese pasta, veal chop and chicken- everything was delicious and we would definitely return.

Outstanding French Restaurant

By Michael C |

This Miami restaurant is outstanding. Upscale and classy, the ambience is great and the service unsurpassed. The menu is exceptional and offers several lunch specials. Appetizers are served so that they can be shared. My Malbec was excellent, and the calamari was delicious. The pumpkin risotto was fantastic and the cheesecake is perhaps the best that I’ve ever had. This restaurant also has locations in London, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and Hong Kong. I will return to the Miami restaurant and will seek out the London restaurant this spring.

Exquisite

By Saorma |

Extraordinary level of food. Although somewhat noisy and crowded with diners. But the quality of the food and service surpasses everything. Impeccable service.

Poor service, don’t order wine there.

By Pablo D |

Poor service. Ordered a glass of wine for $35 and it came half with about half of the stated volume (about 3 oz) and full of sediments. I could barely drink it. They did not care to change or replace it. On top they add a mandatory 20% gratuity. Quite disappointing.

Excellent dinner when we wanted French infusion.

By Christine&Alberic |

Five stars because the food is fantastic, the service is equalled, ambiance, decor and overall dining experience was exactly as it should be. The wine is a bit over priced but great value for the food. Staff is well educated on the menu. Omg - the ricotta dessert, the duck, risoto, beef carpaccio!….. Kitchen and cooking spaces are visible; clean and beautiful.

Must try LPM at Cosmo

By Ana R |

We love the cosmopolitan for all the high-end and delicious food. LPM is a brand new restaurant in the Cosmo and it is highly recommended! The food was excellent French Mediterranean, many great food and drink choices. The wine pairing were on point. The service was 100%! We will definitely be back and look forward to trying all the menu items!

Delicious

Delicious food, great service and atmosphere. Loved the small plates, yummy bread. Everything was perfectly cooked and served. Wine served at perfect temp. Overall fantastic meal and experience

This is NOT french cuisine. Fraudulent

By Alice |

This is an insult to French Cuisine and to Jean Cocteau (french poet/artist) LPM pretends to be a French restaurant and is using french codes to pretend it!!! This is fraudulent. None of the food is french. The name on the menu looks french but the result is a complete disaster. The Alla’arabiata pasta were Mexicano pasta and are an insulte to Italian cuisine. They put jalapeño chilies instead of garlic. The chicken was sweet and the Tapenade had nothing to do with a real tapenade you will get in France. This restaurant is fraudulent by making you think you are eating French cuisine. On top of that the Manager was bad. We should have red the reviews before going there. There are many other great restaurants in Miami that do not lie and pretend to be what they are not. To be avoided.

LPM Restaurant in Miami - OUTSTANDING French Mediterranean restaurant !!

By byMT305 |

LPM (an offshoot of La Petit Maison - locations in: London, Dubai, Hong Kong, Mykonos, Las Vegas et cetra) in the Brickell Avenue business district of Miami is an EXCELLENT restaurant. The ambiance, hospitality & service, bar and menu items are all wonderful. On this visit we enjoyed: Excellent cocktails (house Margarita; and Boulevardier) Complimentary bread (French baguette warm slices - THE BEST bread!!) Gem salad with avocado - highly recommended (when offered in-season); homemade vinaigrette Gnocchi in fresh-made cherry tomato sauce - heavenly light melt-in-mouth gnocchi; yum! Chilean Sea Bass - flavorful & delicious Carnard A L’Orange - scrumptious duck leg confit; crispy skin with classic L’Orange flavors - yum! Potatoes au gratin - DELICIOUS side dish for sharing - creamy with gruyere cheese - yummy! Desserts: Vanilla cheesecake (light & creamy) with fresh berry compote, and warm Apple tart a la mode - scrumptious !! Start-to-finish, this was a WONDERFUL DINNER!! This wasn’t our first visit, and most certainly won’t be our last. Dinner at LPM Miami is a real treat!!

La Petite Maison

By 387indy |

The name is small house which is also a pretty place with a lovely outdoor terrace. They have a great reputation, a very good staff and we love the food. It doesn't remind me of Nice, but the atmosphere is relaxed. We both had a glass of the house white, Susan loves the appetizer Scallop carpaccio. We enjoyed the seafood special.

Sophisticated delicious menu and impeccable service

By DWFReg |

Highly recommend this lovely "light" French restaurant! it is referred to as light French because they use olive oil instead of butter in most of their dishes so it is not a heavy creamy typical French menu... But nothing is taken away from the deliciousness of every dish. We started with two lovely cocktails served in old-Paris style glasses. We shared the yellowtail hamachi which melted on your tongue like butter. The ragu of veal pappardelle was bold and flavor and the salad nicoise was fresh and delightful. The piece de resistance and the most memorable dish was this strawberry mille feuille. Gorgeous to look at and delectable to eat. Everything on their menu is made from scratch. Go when in Miami... Or London or Dubai or Riyadh! PS one thing you should know ... You are not allowed to bring in a bottle of wine. They have a very large and very expensive wine list or stick with their lovely cocktails.

Consistently high quality

By Harry A |

Unpretentious very well run restaurant - serving consistently imaginative Mediterranean dishes meant to share. Have never ever had a bad meal - but especially their duck dish is simply superb.

Really chic

By sunflower126 |

The place is so fancy... I loved the bar at the entrance! The service is excellent and the food was great, I had risotto and shrimp, it was goooood!

Very good all around

By jcmia1234 |

The truth is service could be better by international standards .... but for Miami standards, it was very good. The food however was great !!! .... No hyperbole, straight forward good food presented beautifully and timely. The ripe tomato with lemon preset at the table (which you prepare yourself) was a simple touch that went a long way. Very nice details also (nice china, silver plated silverware, real crystal glassware and even the salt and pepper shakers were small mill-style in heavy silver plate) .... Also great wine list (we had a bottle of Sancerre which was perfect with our seafood menu) The octopus carpaccio was simply delicious .... the turbot was wonderful and deboned table-side (which is something not often seen in South Florida .... Bravo !) ... for a side we had green beans and again very tasty and presented beautifully in a silver plated bowl (something so simple but so nice) Dessert was yummy too ! I don't remember exactly what it was (had a lot of wine already) ... but it was delicious and beautifully presented with a perfect ice cream quenelle. Beautiful decor and great outside sitting ... I would rate it as one of the best in Miami right now .... it does come with a high price tag but it is surely worth it !!!!

good restaurant-late on their reservation

By Peter A |

We booked at table at 945PM and the table only available one hour before. The staff was very supportive and tried to do their best to reduce the waiting stress. The food is well prepared and with a special recomendation for the backed fresh fishes. The portions are big (for the fish) and sharing a very special tip.

Delicious revisited La petite Maison

By LBSEGM |

We saw the place under construction in 2016 but never had the chance to dine before we left Miami. So we came last night and really enjoyed our diner. Is the food close to Nicole's home place not really. BUT Food was perfectly cooked and delicious. We understand you have to Americanized it for the taste of most people. We missed the socca, beignet fleur De courgette and pissaladiere, the farcis are closed to the real stuff but different. Nevertheless dishes were tasty, really well prepared wirh love and attention. Napoleon desert was really delicate and delicious. Our highlight was the outdoor covered patio, quiet , elegant, compared to brickell village. You feel the south of France resting shaded ocean peace. The white table cloth and little lights add a lot to the atmosphere. It was pouring outdoor and yet we felt comfy. Our 5 stars goes mainly to table service waiters Esteban, Frederique and Loic are A team. Management was very active, discreet, welcoming, same for the hostess bright smile on ( not always the case ), she was spontaneous and caring. Women bathroom lock does not work well, it is scary, something to look after. Thank you we will be back !!!
