Excellent braised short ribs over pasta. I decided to hire them to cater a New Year's party. That says it all. The service is very professional and friendly.

The food is excellent and comes close to European standards. All dishes and starters are top-notch. The Montepulciano is also very good. The restaurant is quite large and very nicely and tastefully decorated. The prices are slightly high. The service is friendly and quick.

Newer Restaurant in San Pedro - Little Italy. We were in a group of 30 with a reservation. We were taken to a back room that was wonderful. The owner/chef actually introduced himself and told us the specials. We all enjoyed our food and had a nice time. Large variety of food was ordered...mainly pasta dishes. The pizza looked good and the larger size enough for two to share. The fresh bread and olive oil/garlic and herbs that was on our table as a starter was delicious. There was limited outdoor seating and the indoor seating was spaced out nicely. Still gave them 5 stars, but parking is a little challenging as it is downtown San Pedro (but we all managed, no complaints) and I prefer ceramic/glass plates for the pasta dishes.

We arrived without a reservation on Valentines Day and were immediately seated. Our waitress was a gem. We had risotto with beef and bruschetta. Both were absolutely wonderful. The addition of red pepper to the bruschetta was unexpected and great. Would definitely go there again..

I love this place and had not been back for awhile. Wednesday night at 7pm and 1/3 full. Quiet ambience and quick service. I ordered the rigatoni and sausage. Excellent. Don't forget the great wine selection. I need to drive over here more often. Hi Nima!!!

This is the old famous site of Papadakis which was then turned into a couple of other failed restaurants. I think this one will be a winner. They have modernized it from when we were there last and it is very pleasant with indoor, outdoor and bar options. We chose a high top table in the bar. We were there on a Sunday night and it was quite busy. They were also doing a good take out business which surprised us. We had a good vantage point of the bar and staff activities and it seemed like it was a lot of family. They appeared to be very concerned that everything was sparkling and that everyone was happy. While I don't think they've been open too long, seemed like they had a good following of regulars. All I can say is that we were happy and we'll be back.

Great food and ambiance. Wait staff efficient, personable, and overworked! Not to be missed if overnight awaiting cruise ship. Owner, Nemo, thoughtful, truthful about some missteps (mitigated by a surprise dessert that left the husbands' thirst for chocolate more than satisfied) humble, and gracious. Will return on the very next opportunity, whether in San Pedro, Long Beach, or LA.

Pizzas are a great complement to all of the other fantastic menu options. When you first sit down and taste the complementary bread and Olive oil dipping sauce you can tell you in for a fantastic dinner Great venue super service owner is hands on. What more could you ask for. One of our favorite spots anywhere. Enjoy

Outstanding lunch consisting of short rib ragu with pappardelle. The sauce was scrumptious and the beef was tender but still moist. For dessert I had limoncello mascarpone. Even though I’m not a big fan of lemon desserts this one was fantastic. Highly recommend.
Wonderful way to start a New Year's weekend
We were in LA for the start of a New Year's cruise and went to La Bocca Felice for a late lunch/early dinner. The food was wonderful and our server was great. We enjoyed everything we had.
