Best food we had in Miami. We ordered salchipapa and steak with rice and beans, fried plantains and tostones. The sauces that were on the table were amazing, the spicy red one and the green one, we couldn’t stop eating them. I can only say DELICIOUS. Unexpensive and flavourful food. Only 30$ and we were completely full (we had one starter, one main, and one side) including beer and coffees for dessert. We enjoyed our dinner a lot. Great experience.

My husband saw this place and knew it had to be good based on the number of people crowding in at lunch. Counter order was fast and the Peruvian food was delicious! I don’t know what they put in the Macho Fish sauce, but it’s yummy! You’ll need some rice or bread to eat with the sauce.

Maria was my server. She was delightful and sweet. She made a good recommendation to try the churrasco. It was juicy and flavorful. This was my second time there, and she served me just the same as the first. I am going to return soon.

There are a ton of Peruvian restaurants in Miami these days. While at a conference downtown, many of us sampled this one because it was close to our hotel and seemed like it would be fast and relatively cheap. It is a big corner storefront, very open, with lots of seating including booths and tables. The service is fast and no-nonsense, and the portions were generous. It was not the best Peruvian food I have ever had, but for the price and the speedy service, it was just what we needed at the time. I would not say this is a place for a romantic dinner, but it served our purposes really well. I had the seafood rice which was studded with lots of different kinds of seafood (some of it sort of chewy but still tasty), and my friends had the gumbo, which is very different from the Cajun version, they said it was yummy and the price was very reasonable for this area of Miami. If you need a quick bite that is fast but not "fast food" this is just the place!

We came here on our last trip to Miami and we fell in love. I always get the fried rice and seafood. We've come here for the past 3 days of our stay. Great cheap food.

The food here is hot and fresh! The portions are big enough to share. This was a great place to eat on the cheap since a lot of their menu items are the cost of a fast food combo. Eating here for lunch allowed us to splurge on dinner.

Awesome. Awesome. Awesome. Great food. Dont know what the hell i ordered but i highly recommend. Sorta like a fast food joint but with very good ethnic food.

If you are Brazilian and want to eat beans and rice, this is a great option. Super fair price, super economical family dishes. You can order at the counter or order at the table and pay for the service.

I was pleasantly surprised with this place. I was staying around the corner and I went here to have lunch and it was really good. The food is really delicious and at a reasonable price. I would recommend it!

We just happened to stop by this restaurant and were surprised how great the seafood was as well as having great service. The looks of the restaurant seem to say Fast Food but we were wrong and the food was superb. If the restaurant was in my hometown I would eat here regularly.

We ordered a familymeal, and it was too much for the 5 of us to eat up. Good food, not to shabby restrooms either.

Anytime that I get up and leave a restaurant before I eat that's a problem. First, after you take and accept my order it is expected that you will bring back what was requested. If you give me the okay no problem with my request, it is totally unacceptable to return and say we can't do that or come back and say we only to that for our regular customers. Second, when you provide food that is recommended by your regular guests, it is an insult and disrespect to the guest who wants what you have (even though it may not be on the menu) that is being served in the restaurant. Third, if it is that good put it on the menu and serve to everyone. Fourth, I WILL NOT be back!! Fifth, I took my business over to the beach front and received the best service and meal from someone who appreciated my $$$. Sixth, the female manager needs training in customer service skills.

Walk into the restaurant and place your order and pay, you'll be given an empty cup matching the drink you ordered and a black buzzer, then you can sit yourself anywhere and wait for your buzzer to go off, walk back to the counter to pick your food. No servers waiting on you at the tables. For lunch for our party of three, we initially ordered one plate of seafood fried rice and fried bananas also known as plantains, because my sister said their portions were really large and that she and two others usually share a plate. By the time we dug in, we had to order more possibly because we had a bigger appetite or we were pretty hungry or both. They actually serve large portions.

We went for a quick lunch and were satisfied. You can order at the counter or sit and be served. If you are in a hurry go and order yourself because they only have 1 server going around. Food was good, portions are big enough and the price is righ. Place is clean and good atmosphere.

The atmosphere had a great vibe; reggaetón music playing loud enough to hear but not too loud you couldn’t have a conversation. Seat yourself service was quick and the food was received within 12 min. I asked the server for her recommendation on a traditional Peruvian dish. She recommended the snapper with salsa macho drizzled on top. Two sides: rice and tostones. To drink, a bottled maíz morado. It was delicious! The sauce was had a layered flavor of seafood deliciousness. It had muscles, shrimp, calamari, and peas. I didn’t care for the rice alone but when mixed with the sauce it had a different flavor. The meal would have been complete without the sides. The purple corn drink was flavorful. It tasted like a low sugar grape juice with a hint of cloves. The listed ingredients included purple corn, pineapple, quince (membrillo), apple, cinnamon, and clove.

This restaurant was located in close proximity to our Miami hotel. Rather than get our vehicle out of valet, we decided to walk over for convenience. So glad that we did. The food was hot and tasty, the service was quick and the people behind the counter were friendly. This is probably the best value in downtown Miami. Everywhere else is quite expensive and more formal too. The menu had a lot of options too and a person can order in either English or Spanish.

We stopped in for a late night meal here an was pleasantly surprised with how tasty everything was. The restaurant was fairly empty with on large table however there was only one server. She did her best but we had a decent wait to get our drinks and initial service. The sangria was not worth it but the pisco sour was yummy. We dined on the seafood sampler which was a great choice with a sample of everything the arroz con mariscos and Chalfant de mariscos were all well seasoned and flavorful with fried banana sides. Excellent food. Would stop in again when in Miami.

La Granja offers great food in large portions at an Incredible Value! This restaurant was extremely busy with lines at 2PM on a Thursday but the wait was worth every second. The food quality is excellent and the sizes huge. The interior décor is modern looking and tasteful. This is a Peruvian concept that could work in almost any town and I give it a full thumbs up. Plan on arriving hungry because you will walk out full and happy..

Go to this place only if you are looking for unexpensive and average food. The portions are relatively big ,but nothing more than that. The sea food wasn't fresh and the beer was not cold.

I came to Miami for a business trip and needed a quick lunch close by. Stumbled upon this local eatery where no one speaks English and was concerned I wouldn't get the food I wanted because I'm picky. I was shocked to discover how fresh and delicious my grilled chicken salad was. Service was fast and polite. And to top it off, really affordable.

We visited La Granja the first night when we visited Miami during a business trip and ooohww Myy oohw Myy....this Peruvian food is just amazingly delicious beyond words. I'm so glad we found this place whem we were waljing around and getting to know hour surroundings. We stayed at the Hyatt Regency Miami and this place is just a few minutes away on foot. They prices of the food and drinks are very good and once you see what you get for a very reasonable price ...you might not even finish it all. I ordered the wings and had to take a few back to the hotel because I could not finish all my 8 wings with the very super delicious spicy sauce. The waitres was very friendly so we just had to leave her a nice tip. The only thing I regret is that we were so busy that we did not eat there again like we planned to. This is almost like food porn..trust me when you are in downtown Miami go and visit La Granja, you will NOT regret it. Ps. My mouth was watering again when I uploaded these pics...😁😋😋

This restaurant is located across the street from the hotel where I stayed. At first it looked like self serve but it is not.Everything is prepared and cooked to order. The portions are large, perhaps too large. The two times I dined there my experience was the same. Good service, friendly staff and excellent food, all at a reasonable cost. I would dine there again.

I found this place by chance looking for somewhere to eat on my way back to my hotel. It has a very low key local atmosphere with music playing and big screen tv showing sport. There is a big take away aspect to the place so there is a lot of coming and going. Almost all the customers were Spanish speaking and the staff too! The server addressed me in Spanish and I replied using a mix of Spanish and English - it was fun!! It had a very authentic neighbourhood feel to it, lots of people knew the staff and were very chatty. The food was very good, large portions, good quality and served efficiently. I would definitely eat here again...

I eat here at least twice a week since it's right next to my office. Chicken is a hit or a miss. They tend to over cook it at times. The Peruvian dishes are pretty good but the service is not very good and the food just takes forever most of the times I go. If you're looking for a quick lunch, don't bother. The prices are reasonable.

Great Cuban food. Dined at this restaurant two nights in a row. Food was really good! Nice service pleasant atmosphere for dinning out. Enjoy! We did!

Good food with large portions. Waitress very informative with info on the light rail and bayside market.

We stumbled upon this place and we're not disappointed. Friendly service and the food was incredible.

We stayed in Miami for a week in the downtown area. Our hotel was within walking distance to La Granja restaurant and we ate there three times. Great service, clean restaurant, clean and healthy food at a good price. It was interesting watching the staff members work frantically while the managers did nothing but stand around and text. We would go back again when in Miami.

Ate here twice on our visit to Miami....the location was perfect across from our hotel. Our waitress was excellent with making suggestions and we loved both visits...the first time was fish and our next visit was the chicken which we watched on the rotisserie on our first visit. Seems like a popular place for locals too....they do takeout ...a lot of it. Very happy with this place and wished we had one at home.

Food here is very good and it also gives you a value for your money. Service was very quick and efficient. I had the sea food fried rice which was excellent. It was a lot of food which could have easily been in two.

La Granja delivers to my office at least twice a day, every day. My co-workers love it here and so do I! Their prices are perfect for the amount of food you get and it's delicious. I usually get the #4, which is the grilled chicken with rice and black beans, maduros, and a bottle of water. The chicken is butterflied and cooked to perfection. Deliciously seasoned and topped with a cilantro and red onion mix. The black beans, oh my! I'm very picky about my black beans because, let's face it, nobody makes black beans as well as your Cuban mother. But La Granja really knows how to make their beans the right way. I've also had their palomilla steak which is another great option and their Ceviche (also quite good.) If you're going to order delivery, make sure you order before noon or after 2 pm. Otherwise they won't answer the phone (that's the reason they get 4 stars from me versus 5)

We stayed in Miami for one night at the Hyatt right next to this place. The conceirge recommended this place and he was right. This is a great place for lunch or a quick dinner if you are pressed for time. The black beans & rice was my favorite. great prices!

Stayed in the Hyatt Regency Hotel nearby and did not want to eat in the hotel, being in Miami, knowing there must be tons of Latino restaurant. Venturing out to find CVS but found this Peruvian place with Grilled Chicken, seafood and so on. It is cheap and cheerful with 70 % of Spanish speaking locals. I had a Groupa Fillet with Scallops and Shrimps ($13.99) beans and rice and salad. Water is included in the price. My companion's pork was not the weight they stated but it was tasty. If you have no car and do not want to venture far from the area, I found this is pleasant and ok. By the way, they know how to serve beer correctly so much better than DC, the beer mug are chilled and the beer is really cold. Love it.

My husband went to college in Fort Lauderdale and ate la granja everyday. We live on the west coast of FL and there are unfortunately no la granjas near us. There used to be one in fort Myers but it closed-my husband was devastated! We went down to Key West and on our way back home my husband had to eat there as he wanted our friends to experience it too. The yellow sauce is our favorite! It's absolutely amazing!!

This restaurant was located right by our hotel. We were hungry for lunch and didn't want to venture far, so we decide to stop in. Food was soo good! Our waitress was very, very nice and friendly. We got chicken and wings, and everything was very fresh and delicious. I would definitely come back here the next time I am in town.

Close to Miami downtown JW Marriot, Court Yard, Hyatt, James L Knight Miami convention center. Most meals from $5.00 to $12.00 with choices of chicken, fish, steak, burgers, beans, rice, yucca, bananas, fajitas, beer, wine. VERY casual fast food cafeteria style. Nice change from the hotels prices ;)

For cheap, decent food this is a good option in downtown Miami. Good portions and good service. Quite good seafood paella especially considering the price. The roaster chicken was good as well.

This restaurant was a couple of blocks from my hotel. I love the Peruvian food. Very well seasoned, good food at good prices. Loved it.

We ordered the garlic fish, the female server said it came with shrimp. I asked if shrimp was included with the basic fish, not the "fish with shrimp" and she said yes of course. I asked if it cost more. she said no. Then when the bill comes she had added three dollars a person for the few very small shrimp! also the garlic fish was in a soupy yellow mess. More soup than fish when the picture shows just a sauce on top of a couple tablespoons. Also, she added 18% tip to everyone's check! There were only 4 of us, not a huge table. What is that? Ripped us off on the shrimp cost, a huge lie. Then added her own tip. Never again. Felt taken for sure. We normally go there each night before a cruise out of miami. NEVER again. And make sure to not add a tip since they add it already and don't tell you and leave a spot on the CC bill for you to add your own tip. Any manager reading this we were there evening of 4/13/23

Great food great prices staff members are very friendly and take great care of you prices are mid range for Miami. The only thing I can knock it for and took off 1 point is because it's really small and it's hard to get a table. Sometimes it's a bit of a wait. Overall I thinks it's worth the wait.

Visited for a late lunch after arriving into town and checking into the Courtyard across the street. We had a party of 7 and each of us really enjoyed the food and the experience. The staff was outstanding and very attentive. Portions are fairly large and we were unable to finish everything, but really wanted to because it was very tasty.

This is a great place. Don't be put off by the street appearance. We had great food, Heavy on garlic though so talk to your waiter

Visited September 5th, 2025 for second time. Besides the great and speedy service from Thomas. He has the greatest smile. The restaurant was very busy with many customers all the time. The food itself is just above and beyond. I personally like their 1/2 grilled pork with beans and seasoned rice. The bomb is when you add green garlic sauce on top of the pork chop it bring the pork chop to different level of taste! Don't get me wrong whether with sauce or not the pork-chop tasted good! I saw another customer next to me ordered 1/2 pounds steak with rice and fries which looks so delicious. Makes me want to order it next time. They put on happiness music to create relax ambiance which is very thoughtful. I felt like in the heaven whenever I dining here.

Want to eat well without spending a fortune ... the place to eat!!! Great servers, fun atmosphere and the best food.

I've never experienced such crappy service. We waited 30 minutes for our drinks, mind you we had to ask three times. If it wasn't for another waiter catching on to my facial expressions we probably would have never received our food nor drinks. Our waiter not once apologized for totally ignoring us. We decided to ask for the check and that only took 2 minutes. Then he had the nerve to ask us if we wanted to leave a tip. Ummm was this dude serious???!!! Couldn't pay me to go back here.

Two beers and a plate with fried rice with chicken pieces. Very tasty with the garlic sauce; you are full and can leave. Relax and enjoy

During our vacation on Miami; we visited this restaurant two times. Excellent foods, excellent prices. Ex. for about 7$ you can eat Rice, beans, 1/4 chicken, complement and soda.

Seafood was fresh and tasty. Staff was very attentive. Very clean! Bring an appetite, they give you very large portions and great prices. Definitely would recommend of you are in the Miami area.

Chicken, seafood, pork - peruvian inspired. Ate here for dinner, good service, good food but preferred the franchise Pollo Tropical. Music too loud to have a conversation at our table.

This location does a bustling takeout and delivery business and your option may be to take the meal back to your hotel, but if you're ok with the hectic setting, stay and stick to the specialties, like lomo saltado or chicken. I found the portions fresh and generous. Didn't find the service a problem as some did in earlier reviews, rather it was attentive and fast.

Is simple, cheap but very tasty. I was in a conference close by and I was there at least three times. at first i order the roasted chicken no more than 7 Dollars is was great and as usual in almost all Latin restaurants in Miami the side dishes are rice, beans and fried plantain. my second option was the rice with sea food also very good but the best was the Ceviche mixto, so tasty and delicious. the staff is nice, friendly and fast. the restaurant itself is not fancy but is very good for a nice lunch or dinner.

Visited La Granja on my last night in Miami, the food was great and not expensive at all. The staff was also amazing, it has a good location not too far from the hotel i was staying at.

Excelent service and food Monica provided amazing service while eating there i recomend this place come and visit

If you can, try the lomo saltado. Perfect! The staff is also good, I have no complaints at all. I used to go there with my parents, who don't speak either English or Spanish, and they were always patient with our doubts. They didn't complain if we decided to share a meal - the portions are huge.

Delicious food. Nicely seasoned. Great service. Waitresses are very friendly and attentive. Great prices.

Nothing fancy here, but Peruvian style food was OK and inexpensive. Chicken, pork, beans rice. Serving staff worked hard to keep up. A noisy place, especially from sound of chairs on the hard floor.

What a great surprise, to find an authentic Peruvian eatery in easy walking distance from the Hyatt Regency in dowtown Miami on the Riverwalk. I knew it was good AND reasonable when I saw Miami's finest in blue dining there. Don't be put off by the cafeteria feel of the place, the food is very good and reasonable if you stay away from the high-end dishes. Lots of food and variety...beef, pork, chicken, fish, shrimp dishes of all kinds. Many meals are under $16.

If you really want to eat Peruvian, you can go here. Even with great hunger. The taste is as it should be and not counterfeit. Good and good food.

Hotel staff recommended for quick good food. Spot on advice. 3 good sauces at the table for your chicken, steak or pork. Rice and black beans plus plantains round out a good lunch.

I had dinner one night and liked it so much that I had lunch the next afternoon. Great food! I will go back next time I’m in town.

This is a very unassuming restaurant based in BBQ and seafood at very good prices. A place to eat simple but tasty food in a welcoming environment

This unimposing eatery has fantastic food! You can see the fish, chicken, or meat cooked on the grill right before your eyes. Their sauces and hot sauces have just the right amount of seasoning and heat--if you like! The boiled yucca was the best I've ever had..Portions ample and was budget-friendly too. Employees were patient and kind, as I couldn't decide from all of the choices!

I been customer for many years in this restaurant and not only that the chicken was very dry they were playing christian music I don't have anything to against the Christian's but this is not the place to play this music, this is a restaurant. They should check their chicken is not see it just to be any more.

Hello, I received excellent customer service by Michelle’s. She’s very on point with the needs of their customers by trying to understand their needs and provide the best possible solution to customer needs. May the Lord Jesus Christ bless this place along with the workers and their families. Allelujah

I was looking for casual dining with authentic food and luckily came across La Granja. Although the restaurant interior is more causal than formal, the food is truly authentic and made to order.

There isn't a time that we can visit Miami without visiting La Granja. I always get Seafood with fried rice. Possibly the best restaurant and best value for your money. I don't really care about the leaking roof and their kind of bizzare style of operation. The food is great.

Casual place. Table seating as well as take out. Terrible service. Employees act as if they’re doing you a favor. Peruvian style fast food; good, fresh and hot. Inexpensive huge portions. Chaufa is amazing. The roasted chicken is really good too.

Came here with a work mate that's never been here, it has a nice Peruvian menus to very good price. I had my favorite half a chicken with French fries together with the 3 home made excellent sauces. My buddy also liked it a lot. Highly recommended

Large portions very delicious seafood soup with lots of seafood! Yummy and tasty. Monica was very friendly and helpful server

We love the food, delicious and food prepared and served hot!! Not fancy and a GREAT VALUE!! I love the fish chunks, my husband enjoys the cerviche.

Had what we thought was going to be a quick lunch, but they lost our order and it took forever to get our food once they realized it. No apology offered by staff. We shared a fried fish plate topped with tomatoes and onions served with salad and black beans and rice. The food was fresh and very tasty. I would return.

We ate at La Granja after spending the day at the Miami boat show. The chicken was flavorful but dry but the sauces helped with that. My husband enjoyed his salad but said his fries were not great. I loved my beans and rice and the sweet plantains (though I wish they had been warmer). The service was great! Price was awesome as well.

If you are in downtown Miami, hungry and hoping for a good, inexpensive meal, then run (dont walk) to La Granja Downtown. I have travelled to over 70 countries and eaten in many great restaurants (some pricy), but I have never had rice and seafood as good as they serve up in this clean, vibrant and unassuming restaurant, (that includes eating rice and seafood in Spain...) And if you are feeling lilke trying something new, La Granja has the peruvian version known as "chaufa de mariscos". The traditional rice and seafood platter, excellent as it is, is put on fire in a huge wok and the result is "like you died and went to heaven". Normally, anywhere in the world, the ratio of rice to seafood on a platter is 80-90% rice, here it is 55-60% rice...La granja has many standard dishes that are crowd pleasers (all good food) but look to the peruvian items on the menu, beleive me they are a gourmet experience. My only problem each time I devour the mountainous platter set before me, is not feeling like I am stealing from the restaurant, when I pay the amazingly inexpensive bill...

This restaurant chain has to be one of the best ones in South Florida. This restaurant has a wide menu. They have a lunch combo for $6.95 witch include: 1/4 chicken rice beans sweet plantains and a soda. Food is great! Highly recommend

The food was ok. What really upset us is that we went there to eat and they had already added the tip into our bill. There was only four of us and if my husband didn't look at the receipt they would have gotten double tip! Thought this was very unprofessional! I know for large table parties some restaurants do this. But there were only 4 of us. Plus the service was not the greatest! Wonder how many other people they have done this too!

There are lots on their menu. Not sure what to pick, so we decided to share and try the seafood platter. Big portion and it was delicious. We only stopped in Miami for one night, but will definitely come back again.

Great food Prices were kind of economic in comparison with other places i have been here Near a lot of stuff Friendly staff Fast service

I was not impressed, and would never return. There was no wow factor and didnt even compare to my own local Chicken fast food chains

We will go here each time in Miami Brickell area. I again got the garlic fish, but this time I paid the $2 or $3 extra dollars for the added shrimp and scallops. They are the small bay scallops but they give you about 5 shrimp as well. Such a deal. My friend got the spicy fish and loved it. For the sides I got Yucca and salad. The salad was large and crisp and cold and perfect. The yucca, have to say was dry and not good to eat. But with all the seafood, sauce, salad, no room for it anyways. We got the 5 beers for the price of 4 special. The fish with scallops and shrimp were $15.50 each and includes the sides. Such a great deal. Make sure to try it. So good.

Great, super tasty Peruvian food!! In downtown Miami ,we tried ceviche, jalea, seafood soup and they all were delicious!!! the place is very busy at lunch time, a little disorganized but worth it cause the food is really good. If u are downtown take the time to eat here, u won't regretted, great experience!!👍

After being recommended to La Granja by my friend I decided to bring my family. ... NEVER again will I step foot in this restaurant again. The very loud Cuban rowdy music was beyond uncomfortable and obnoxious. The restaurant closes at 10pm, we got there at around 9pm... I understand it was late , however ; the restaurant was open. The servers were all sitting down looking at us as if we were aliens. We asked for a seat they sarcastically said "whatever , wherever you want" and took over half an hour to have someone even take our drink order. After we all ordered. One persons food was served.... Then another twenty minutes later the rest of my family's food came. I must say. The food was deliciously prepared. While we were dining, what appeared to be the manager was sweeping the floors around us, even going under our table! Throwing chairs making tons of noise all over the place , all this while singing along to the already loud music. I had one glass of water for the whole hour and a half experience... Not by choice . I think the waitress noticed we were uncomfortable because she have us two complimentary beers. Which was beyond appreciated . ButNEVER again . Sorry La Granja

My family ate here one night and was very pleased. I had the pork chop dinner with black beans, white rice with fried bananas. The food was very good and the service was good. Whenever we are in Miami, we eat dinner here at least once.

Pretty busy place for lunch, but food is just average. Prices are average. Not worth waiting 20 minutes for your order.

I went here with some friends. The charrasco steak tasted fine but really bothered my stomach from the night all through the next day. I didn’t see there was a gratuity added already. Ok fine. I added a $5 tip and ask them not to charge it. Gave cash instead for my error. Thats two tips. Still they charged it afterwards and said they could not refund to the card. It was corporate so should not have been double tipped thats why I left cash. My error, but that is just plain greed to get tips a third time. Call the restaurant they could not credit the card and the bank too. I feel this is not a good way to run a business. I will not go here again.

If you want to try something a little different - then this is the place to go. Excellent food and service. Try one of their specialities you can't go wrong.

Food was great. Customer service was horrible!! Had to get my own food while others were served theirs. No one came during our meal to see if we were ok or to refil any of our drinks. I had to go ask for more water (because I never got my pepsi) and, not only was I ignored 3 times, when they finally did acknowledge me, I was made to feel like a bother: no words, no eye contact 😡 0/10. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND

Latin Diner. Multiple classic choices, lots of seafood. Reasonably priced. Clientele from suits to hardhats. Apparently, this is a chain in Florida. Wish my city had one!

You can find La Granja restaurants all across South Florida and they are definitely worth a try. Known for their flavorful Peruvian style roasted chicken, I think all of their other menu items are just as tasty. This time I venture off and tried one of their steak dishes and I was not disappointed. For cheap eats in Downtown Miami La Granja is definitely a good choice.

Never tried these before and was pleasantly surprised. Now I am craving them, but unfortunately I am no longer across the street from this restaurant and it's almost midnight. :( Place appears clean and food overall was quite tasty.

Not at all fancy, but large portions of tasty food at a reasonable price. The restaurant was 75% full, with a steady stream of people also coming in for takeout orders. Highly recommend the ceviche, rice and seafood, or chicken. All were delicious. Menu had pictures of great looking desserts, but we were all stuffed.

We just got into Miami and were staying at the hotel across the street, so why not give this place a try. It was about 4pm on a Thursday and there were a few people inside but not overly crowded. When we walked in we weren't sure if it was waiter service or self service (looks to be both). We were told we can sit down and a waitress would come by. Majority of our group is fluent in Spanish (which I think helped because our waitress started asking us where everyone was from and chatted in Spanish, She was very nice) I got the chicken fried rice and it was a large plate of food with a great flavor. My wife got the grilled steak and she said it was delicious. Everyone else ordered something different and nobody was disappointed.

Great food for the price, friendly service and a very substantial menu. Heavy traffic during lunch, recommend coming before or after the lunch rush.

We're staying across from this restaurant so we decided to try it as the place was full with dinners. Food was outstanding and gigantic portions. The seafood gumbo was excellent full of "guts". Highly recommend. Rating...excellent.

not knowing the neighborhood, we stumbled into this place. I know next to nothing of Spanish and our waiter was not very good at speaking English, but that is what made him so endearing. The place is almost fast food, but delicious. Worth the stop.

Great spot. Huge plates. Interesting menu. It’s a Peruvian restaurant, so Peruvian food, mixed with some American food. We had chicken, fish, and sampler plates. All good. But be forewarned- they are big plates!

Ate dinner here tonight. While it wasn't a fancy place, we thought it was very good with huge portions. The sauces they provide at the table can be had with onions at a "salsa bar" in the corner and are all super flavorful. Only one guy serving, and even though he was hustling, he couldn't keep up. But he was super nice so we didn't get upset with him. If we lived nearby we would definitely make it a favorite stop.

Everything was perfectly cooked and delicious. The server was friendly and attentive. This is a chain of Latino food. Cheap and delicious.

4 stars for location, value, great taste, and good quality food. I ordered the seafood rice. It came with a variety of seafood cooked similar to paella topped with a fried fish filet. Delicious!!! It took a while to get my food but I appreciate the fact that everything is cooked to order. The dish was mild and tasty with no fishy smell. I also ordered a regular sized fried plantain which can really feed three people. I will definitely try their other offerings when I return to Miami. Catch you later fishies!

Great spot for a quick lunch. A lot of options from chicken to seafood. It's gets really busy at lunch so be prepared for a line.

If you are really hungry and in the mood for Peruvian food while in downtown Miami, this is the place to go. Food is tasty, but not awesome.

Excellent flavor because of the wonderful spices. Not HOT, just flavorful. You COULD order HOT. The menu doesn’t do the dishes justice - there’s PLENTY of food with almost ANY order. Our server, Fabiola, was helpful with suggestions and additional recommendations. I tried one of the sauces on the table and though it said “MILD “, it had quite a garlic kick.

This location is very busy during the lunch hours. When telling the cashier what you would like to order is a little bit challenging if you do not speak Spanish however in the end the meal was delicious. I tried the grilled chicken sandwich as well as the side salad. Very tasty and juicy chicken. The sauces they have on the tables are also a great addition to the chicken.

Portions are plentiful and prices are not gauging. Had many of the dishes and every one of them has been tasty. Love love love the missing of the red and green sauces!!

This restaurant was clean and not very busy although I did pass by at other times that they were packed. The staff was very nice. The prices are ok. About the same as a hotel but the food is much better than a hotel. Fresher. I had the fish with rice and black beans. The sauce they use on the fish was yummy. Try the mayo sauce too. It is mixed with two other ingredients and tastes good. I had the flan for dessert. It was good.

We stayed near here the night before the cruise. Walked across the street and tried it. Service was really slow even though only half full. Our female server had some obv favorites she was serving along with our table and they got priority in every way. Too bad really. But the food was great. We got the fish in a cream sauce. It was about $15. Came with 2 sides. And was really good. The place was good. We would eat here anytime if in the area again.

La Granja is a loud and busy place to have lunch, but the food is worth it! I had the boneless chicken with salad and had a tough time finishing it since it was a very good size. This is a popular place for business professionals and locals to eat. The line can be long, but the wait is worth it. The veggies are fresh and the meat is very flavorful. There are several sauces you can put on the meat/veggies that add even more flavor and heat. Don't let the long line scare you off, by the time you read the whole menu, you'll be ready to order!

Horrible service. Very chaotic. I made the line for 15 minutes to later find out they had no chicken available. We came to try the chicken. When I suggested they put a sign so people don’t wait for nothing the cashier did not speak English. When o asked for a supervisor or manager she said they didn’t have one.

This was a convenient option within walking distance of several hotels. I had chicken with rice and beans both times I ate there. The food was good and they have convenient takeaway.

The food was yummy and the price was inexpensive. Great combination for a family of 5. A must visit restaurant for my family when we are in Miami. Love it!❤️

We were staying at the Marriott Courtyard across the street and while walking by decided to drop in for dinner. Our server spoke very broken English and it was difficult ordering but another server stepped in and resolved the problem. I had the Grilled chicken special #4 @ $10.95 which was absolutely delicious. It came with a large portion of black beans and rice which were very good. I really liked this restaurant and would come back again. Great food - Great Prices and a Clean Restaurant.

This was not very good at all. I ordered chicken fried rice and it was very greasy and chicken was tough. The tip is already added in but they run your ticket with another tip category so you will give again!!! Two thumbs down!! 👎🏼👎🏼

This was my first time eating at such a restaurant so I wanted to experience Peruvian food for the first time. I must say it did not disappoint. I ordered the seafood rice and it was really good, and It actually had seafood, unlike other places that only offer a few handful. From the menu it was a lot of food for a good price. If I go back to Miami, I will definitely visit this place again.

My husband and I had dinner at this Peruvian restaurant once while visiting Miami. We each ordered half a Peruvian chicken. We also had rice, black beans and fried banana. Our broiled chicken was very tender and nicely flavored. For dessert we ordered cheesecake and tres leches. Both desserts were prepackaged and ordinary. The restaurant offers table service or takeout. This restaurant has a fast food ambiance.

Excellent meal! Hot and fresh and very authentic. Enjoyed the entire meal. Service was very good, prices reasonable!

I am staying in a hotel near the La Granja Restaurant. Since a group of us have been in Miami for a few weeks we have often gone out for lunch or take out from La Granja which serves Peruvian food, incuding ceviches, chicken, great beans and rice, plaintains, and other Peruvian dishes like Chupe de Mariscos (Seafood Soup), and Lomo Saltado, strips of beef, with tomatoes, onions, and French fries all stir fried. There are also rice dishes such as rice with seafood. I have had all of those items mentioned as well as their Peruvian style chicken which is excellent. Service is quick, and you can call in your order and either dine in, or pick it up. If you staying at the nearby hotel, this is a quick, excellent, and reasonably priced option to eating in your hotel. On previous trips to Miami I have also been to their restaurant at 1199 NW 42nd Avenue which is near the Marriott Hotel Complexes at the Airport. All in all in a great choice for excellent food at a reasonable cost.

If you've never had Peruvian food, La Granja won't disappoint you at all. The quick casual style is easy and the food is made fresh. Nothing looked pre-cooked and everything came out hot and delicious and beautifully presented on real plates! The ceviche is fantastic, as is the tostones! The cilantro chicken soup is amazing! I had dinner and lunch here and it was great both times.

The food here was delicious! I had the chicken fried rice. The portions were generous and there was a variety of food to choose from!

Ate here twice during a conference in October 2016. It seemed to be very popular with locals. It is kind of somewhere between a sit-down and fast food place. Good seafood, and lots of Caribbean dishes. The fried bananas were fantastic-- the second time I came I ordered a whole plate of them. This is not a gourmet restaurant by any means, but it is quick and tasty, and the price is affordable. Definitely recommend.

If you want a quick and balance lunch, you need to try La Granja. Everything is great, chicken, steak, ceviche, etc. Each time I travel to Florida La Granja is a most!!! And each time the place is full.

We were staying at Marriott Marquis in downtown Miami and this was just 5 to 8mins walking distance. You have to wait to be seated and they could be busy sometimes too. But omg, their food is so delicious! Especially their spicy fish, the sauce was everything! ♥️ We also had their roasted chicken which was really good too! Will definitely come back here when I come down again to Florida.

A low key kind of place on the corner. There is not a lot of activity in this area of town but what caught my eye is that it was very full, on an Easter Sunday no less! Prices were modest with a wide variety of food choices, mostly seafood items. I had the seafood rice which was very good! I would definitely return!

I was in downtown Miami for only one day, and being a Sunday, lots of places were closed for lunch. Fortunately La Granja was nearby and open. Even more fortunately, I had time to kill, as nearly every step of the process was quite leisurely. Our server was very friendly, but would inexplicably disappear for long stretches. The saving grace was the delicious food, beautifully presented in generous portions. Each dish was bursting with flavor, never over-seasoned or over-spiced. The prices were surprisingly low for downtown Miami. From the outside, La Granja gives the appearance of a fast food restaurant, but the interior is nicely designed and comfortable.

If you are visiting miami it's a must to try this place. Great food at an even greater price and they don't hold out on the portions. Yummy

The management of this restaurant had better consider sending some of their staff to any sort of intensive English language course. It is hard to believe we had problems with the waitress serving us to talk in the language thought to be the most widely spoken in the USA. Anyway, the prices and the salads served prevented us from giving less than two points in our review.

This is a great option for Peruvian styled food with a Miami twist. Takout is well packaged and relatively quick. The restaurant is not very large, so consider that if you're with a large group.

Stopped in for a quick bite but never having heard of the place. A very varied menu, chicken, beef, seafood, soups, ceviche. And great prices. We both had the barbecued chicken plate (with rice and black beans. Excellent. A very clean, well-run establishment. Will definitely go back while I'may in the area.

Just in to town and needed a quick bite to eat. It was right across from Hotel and it wasn’t fast food. Seafood gumbo was very good and they have a lot different things to choose from

I visited here on two occasions while on my trip to downtown Miami. The first experience was good, the second not so much. This was the first place my family and I had lunch at while in Miami. We arrived shortly after they had opened for the day so the restaurant was not crowded. After ordering, we received our food within a reasonable time frame. The food was good and the portions were large. However, on my second visit to the restaurant was not that great. My brother and I needed to get a quick bite and when went here and asked how long a couple burgers would take and we were told 20 - 30 minutes. We could not wait that long. We noticed there was food already prepared on a serving table (rice, potatoes, salad, etc) so we asked if there was anything already prepared that we could get right away. The cashier did not understand what we were saying so we left and went to another eating place. If you don't speak Spanish, you may having problems conveying to the staff what you want.

We went there for dinner after a long day of racing because it was close to our hotel, and the menu looked interesting. However, when we ordered food, we quickly found out they were out of what we wanted. They had no chicken, and no shrimp because they had stopped carrying seafood, but still showed it on their menu. We paid for our drinks and left.

This is a great fast casual restaurant. They offer table service, the food was pretty quick and the portions were large.

I was a little skeptical, but went in nevertheless. Boy do I have to say that I'm happy I went in. The food was great and the portions were pretty big. The menu has several items like yuca, steak and more. Don't hesitate to come in and enjoy yourself.

Great food. Great service. Friendly staff. Great prices!! Had dinner here recently. The food was excellent. Can't say enough about our experience!!

The food was good and the prices are fair. the waitress (i think her name was Alejandra) was very attentive. Would go again

A very popular cafe where it was hard to get a seat. Good quality wholesome food at a sensible price. Not waitress service but then that wasn’t really a problem and dirty plates were quickly removed.

Delicious & fresh food, not a lot of variety, but still good. Great prices. They will deliver. if you eat in, its very very noisy, and the wait time can be long.

I had a lunch there. Ceviche was fresh, tasty and the portion very generous. The service was ok too.

Went there twice on our recent trip to Miami. I could see the restaurant from our hotel window; stayed at the Hyatt. The first time was a sit down meal and it was a lot better than the next time when we had the takeaway - even then it wasn't bad. The rotisserie chicken, when fresh, was really good. It was interesting to watch the chefs cooking the food in front. Like a lot of downtown places, selection is limited for supper because the area caters more to the office crowd. This is open late and is not too expensive.

Wandered in here for lunch during a conference break. The place was obviously popular, loaded with customers. But with all the activity and a little bit of a language barrier (the staff appeared to speak only Spanish), it was a little difficult to get service. Even so, there were many interesting food choices and we enjoyed the interaction. We especially enjoyed the seafood rice and the seafood gumbo. It’s worth a visit.

We'd walked by this place quite a few times on our way to other restaurants but we weren't impressed by the storefront atmosphere so we never stopped. When a storm hit and many other places were closed, we ended up here for dinner. The food was quite good, and a great value - especially the chicken. The atmosphere wasn't so great, but the staff were fantastic. They definitely made us feel welcome, and they were very helpful.

After 2 weeks traveling in the U. S., this has been the best and most sincere service overall (by Cinthya), which encouraged us to write this review. Food was nice as well.

Just to the north of the business core and in an area that is starting to undergo some well needed redevelopment. Very casual place, with both table seating (although not enough) as well as take out. And a very comprehensive menu. Two for dinner after a long day of travelling. Started with a nice mixed appetizer plate - a little of everything. On to Ceviche for me, fish & scallops for dinner partner. Well sized portions, everything very fresh. And all very tasty. Service was excellent, with some good suggestions. There may be a bit of a wait for a table, especially for larger parties. Glad we waited.

I stayed across the street from this restaurant. I ordered the half chicken and beans and rice. I was quite surprised at how moist and good the chicken was. I also ordered a grill chicken salad which was delicious as well. Very reasonably priced too.

The place is good to go when you are out during the lunch time or something like this. To have quick tasty food not with the best products quality. The service charge was added in bill already however there were no big service to charge like this. Two person ordered a simple food and they brought it. Its strange to pay a lot for this simple service.

If your downtown and super hungry, this place is great. Huge portions of food. Great sea food and fishes. We had red noodles with shrimp and fried fish with scallops and shrimp and both was super delicious.

Affordable prices for great food. The wait was long... but so worth it. We ordered fish that was not on the menu, and it was cooked to perfection.

I'm on a quest to find the best ceviche in the world. La Granja ceviche leads the pack! It was so memorable that I forgot what my daughter ate. Can't wait to go to Miami again.

Very excellent food Large portions and prices are very good If you are in Miami, try this place out Not to far from most hotels in downtown Miami

Our hotel concierge directed us to La granja, just three blocks away; high-fives to him. Lunchtime, place filled with locals. Generous portions, fresh ingredients, inexpensive Cuban-style food. Quick but not fast; everything individually prepared.

I actually crave this food when I am not in Miami. The prices are great, the food is really tasty. Service sucks, but the food makes up for that so who cares about the service. YES, the food is THAT good.

Amazing Peruvian food! I got the 1/2 chicken with rice, black beans and plantains. It reminded me of the meals my Peruvian friend would make. Everything was well seasoned, hot and fresh. The staff was very kind and worked well and fast. I can’t wait to come again!

Stopped here by chance on a overnight stay before our cruise. Food was very tasty and reasonably priced. Within walking distance of the intercontinental.

very flavorful food. A quick "fast" food and very reasonably priced quick service and very interesting people watching
Yummy
My husband and I love La Granja. We were coming from a cruise and we went here. I love the 1/4th chicken, black beans with white rice and plantains. They have 3 different sauces that you can put on your meat and its sooooo good..The food is plentiful, the prices are reasonable and the seasoning is delicious. Even though we live in another state, were from Miami, Florida and we love this restaurant. They have plenty of locations and we usually go to the one in Pembroke Pines, Florida. But, this one is great as well and the employees are very friendly and helpful with the menu.
