Expensive and underwhelming

By cheachy |

Venue temp inside is tar too low - all the ladies in my party were wishing they had coats! Menu choice is quite minimal. Prices are rather expensive for what is just ‘ok’ food. Wine waiter constantly spilt wine on the table EVERY time he topped up our glasses (he did the same with the water - maybe it’s just not his forte? :-)). Our bill was put on our table while we were all just starting to eat deserts - we were actually going to order coffees etc but decided not to because of this. Service did not feel overly special and they seemed to rush us through which given the venue was only 1/3 busy seemed odd. Nice staff, ok (?) food, but I’d honestly save your money and spend less, for more, elsewhere. Didn’t feel like a special treat but the bill did! We went to bull and bear and it hands down beats la Luce. If you are going to spend that kind of money, 100% spend it and B&B instead!!! No question

Perfect last dinner in FL!

By Kristianne A |

Beautfiful restaurant and hotel! Wonderful dinner with our best friends and our kids. Our faves were the grilled berkshire porkchop, rib eye, mafaldine alla lina, fritto misto! Pizzas and desserts were awesome too! The staff especially Nela were awesome and Nela gave great recommendations! We’ll definitely come back!

First Time Visit, Not my last

By MAGGIE V |

First time visiting La Luce. Was a very pleasant visit. We started at the bar and decided to stay there instead of moving to a table. Was a bit busy and went into people watching mode. The Bartender, Neisha although noticeably busy was very friendly and welcoming. Gave a great explanation of the menu & some delicious recommendations.

Some things really good, some ok

By john P |

The meat for the lamb chops, and the carpaccio was excellent. The lamb was very tasty, and well prepared. The salmon quality was good, and the fish was cooked perfectly, but the portion was small and it needed a better sauce. The tomato soup was ok, but could have had better spicing. The lamb chops came with way too much salad, and an odd polenta crouton. Better would be a soft polenta with a nice sauce that would match the lamb. The butterscotch dessert was touted, but truly unmemorable. Prices were fair. Service was fine. Atmosphere was not warm. Lighting was poor, almost dingy. This is not a place for a romantic date.... La Luce is there for the conventioneering crowd. Go if you are staying in the hotel, but not if you have to drive over five miles to get there. If this is rated one of the top five restaurants in Orlando, I feel sorry for those who live close by that there are not better choices.

Impressive Dinner.

By Melissa S |

From the moment you walk in until the moment you walk out. La Luce is a great romantic dinner spot. Our waitstaff Luke and Nella were fantastic. They were very professional and very passionate about La Luce and Signia, they truly know their stuff. Tracy the manager stopped by and checked on our dinner. Thank you La Luce for unforgettable night.

5 star bar and restaurant!!

By Troy R |

I was told this was a great restaurant and I will say it met and went above expectations. The seafood I got was like something I would get in my home state of Louisiana, fresh. Food was prepared like a 5 star restaurant. The service I got from the bartenders was great, Heather my bartender was above and beyond on service. I will definitely be back!

For a very nice out

By Jim S |

Great spot for a nice evening without breaking the bank. The entire staff seem to be foodies. Attentive, professional and friendly. Very good variety as our group had the lamb shank, duck and pasta. Wines are pricey but the quality is there. The special olives and almonds appetizer is one of a kind. The desserts are exceptional as well, check out the butterscotch pudding, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing food, great staff

By Ariel S |

my girlfriend and I stayed at the hotel and did not have reservation, they were kind and offer us to seat at the bar and eat there, which we accepted, the bartender was amazing and attentive, food was a 10/10 and the pudding dessert is top notch, we ordered food to take to the room the next day and they still treated us with kind and attention. Great restaurant.

Wonderful - yet again!

By RyanColSolare |

There is an expression in Italian..."Non ci ricordiamo dei giorni, ci ricordiamo dei momenti" (We do not remember days, we remember moments".) For us, La Luce is JUST this kind of experience. To the review: We called about 3 weeks ahead of Christmas to request our favorite table - Rick, the AGM, immediately pulled up the seating chart and secured our spot. It being Christmas and our first major trip (i.e. vacation) in 18 months, this was extremely comforting. When we arrived, we were warmly greeted by Lia, the GM. Soon, many of our famiglia came by to welcome us after such a lengthy respite...Karima, Rusty, Joe, Rick, Chef Alberto (!), and, of course, the indefatigable, extraordinary, luminary SOFIA! If for no other reason, go so you can spend a few moments with Sofia; you will find her at the pizza and salad station. She is the cuore (or corazon, since she is a Latina!) of La Luce. Hugs and kisses all around!!! We started with perfectly crafted cocktails and light-as-air ricotta gnocchi. Next, we indulged in the most amazing salads you'll ever have - lick the plate good. The classic tricolore (endive, lettuce, radicchio) for my wife and the warm cauliflower salad for me. Let me tell you - if you are a Vegetarian, you will LOVE LOVE this salad. Vegan? Eschew the Parm. Perfectly roasted and seasoned (and warm) cauliflower, giant white beans...unctuous lemon olive oil dressing... My wife had the seared salmon and potatoes - again, light, fluffy, delicious. I went for the Christmas special - lobster spaghetti! It was everything you'd hope for: perfectly cooked lobster, red sauce with a hint of chili in the spaghetti - beautiful presentation. Andiamo!!

What a disappointment, especially from such a renowned name

By SriLankaReal |

We fealt pressured into ordering food, this was a sign of things to come. Then when we asked for a few minutes another waiter came out and pressed us more to order. We ordered drinks, hurriedly, then yet another female waiter came and asked us were we ready to order. This all happened in the space of 6-8 minutes. When we placed the order our food arrived in a very short space of time. The restaurant was full indoors, so we chose to sit outside rather than to go elsewhere - our son really wanted to try Italian food that evening. During the meal we were asked twice if everything was OK. The pleasantness had long disappeared by this point. Then, plates were whisked away and it was, "Any Desserts?". "Can we have a few minutes?" Then the desserts arrived and again we were asked if everything was OK. No smiles at all now, but a definite grimace on the face of the waitress. The steak was that heavy in salt it was barely edible and certainly not up to standard. Just a real disappointing experience for us all. We ended up arguing amongst ourselves because I wanted to give some feedback on the lack of quality but we decided just to get out of there, and not go back. I've wined and dined, as well as been a hotel guest with this group my entire adult life, and this has convinced me to look elsewhere next time, instead of being treated rudely without any justification at all. Very, very disappointed with the service and the quality of food.

Awesome food with even better service!

By Raegeee |

We came for my sister's birthday, just adults, and had such a great time. Our servers Nela and Luke really took it to the next level and anticipated our every need, even down to the Butterscotch Pudding! The Old Fashioned is great, try it Smoked!

It was fine

By Dana A |

The best way to describe our dinner is “fine.” There was nothing terribly wrong but it wasn’t spectacular. Our service was lackluster but we could tell from interactions with other wait staff it was just bad luck. The other staff members seemed lovely. We tried a total of 7 entrees - two were amazing (the risotto and the Bolognese), the others were just ok (the pesto, pork chop, spaghetti and meatballs, and pizza). We shared 3 desserts and 2 of them were incredible (the butterscotch with toffee and the trifle). The Tiramisu was ok but nothing special. We also found a hair in it, which was off-putting, All in all our dinner was ok but I wouldn’t go back.

Anniversary at La Luce

By Ian H |

While my wife and I have been the Hilton / Waldorf Bonnet Creek many times, we had somehow overlooked La Luce. We decided to change that for our wedding anniversary. The restaurant has an upscale, yet understated vibe. With the dark skies and rain falling, it was a perfect way to relax at the end of hectic day. Justin and Nela were our servers and both were attentive in their service and provided what we needed without being over the top. We started with the antipasti plate and Caesar salad. Both were very good. Then we moved onto the main course. I had the Mafaldine alle Lina and my wife had the Pappardelle Fantasia. Both could not have been any better. The evening needed with the lemon cake and butterscotch pudding, both of which were fantastic. We are both looking forward to going back when the lasagna is on the menu.

Best service

By Joe J |

We visited La Luce on our vacation and had Kristin as a waitress. She was the best server we’d ever had and the new manager Josh was funny and courteous. The food was stupendous and quickly made. Highly recommend and will be coming back in the future.

Will Be Back!!

By Jimnaliz v |

Went to La luce to celebrate my daughter's birthday and they did not disappoint! The food was delicious and the service was even better. We had reservations but decided to stay at the bar and our enjoy our meal there. Our bartender Neisha took great care of us, gave us all the best recommendations and made us some delicious cocktails. I highly recommend the Butterscotch Pudding for dessert! We will most definitely be back!!

Relaxing Evening

By SLIPER |

The place has it all valet good food and excellent service and my hates off to the bar tenders great atmosphere for a relaxing night out come enjoy you won’t be disappointed

Good salad

By Marsha L |

This restaurant was good , the calamari appetizer was nice and my salad was fantastic but my main course was just ok. I had the chefs special which was sea bass w/ corn succotash and mashed something, the plate was covered in mashed brown looking corn succotash which literally looked like someone threw up on my plate. The sea bass was sitting on top of this awful looking stuff and it might have been good but I couldn’t get past the brownish/ grey colored stuff with chunks of corn. Definitely would not order that again. That being said the waiter was really great and attentive even though they were super busy.

Amazing

By Scott |

La Luce was recommended to us by a friend who recently came to the US after growing up in Italy. So when a true Italian tells you that this is the best Italian restaurant in Orlando that's saying something. The service was top notch and the waiter was very helpful explaining the menu to my wife who has allergies. I would highly recommend the the bone in pork chop! It was bursting with flavor. If your staying in Bonnet Creek it is must visit.

Great experience!

By Deborah Bryan |

We had a really enjoyable experience here. Warm and relaxing atmosphere at a high end Italian restaurant. The food was amazing. A really nice option of dishes to enjoy. What most surprised me was the high knowledge of the waitress and the great recommendations she shared with us!

Last minute dinner… amazing!!

By Meghan G |

We had just arrived in Orlando and didn’t have reservations anywhere and wanted something close by. I called over to La Luce and even though there were no reservations available on Open Table the hostess got us in right away. We sat at a lovely indoor table and had the best waiter ever- Joseph! I don’t write reviews but I’m writing this one because he may have been the best waiter we have ever had! Extremely friendly, personable, and had excellent knowledge of every dish on the menu. He truly was on a mission to make us happy and he most certainly did! Food was absolutely amazing and we chose our dishes based on Joseph’s excellent descriptions. We will definitely be back and will request Joseph again!

Nice time, great place to bring a business client!

By Joel M |

Went out for Drinks 🍹 with a client and had a great time at this place! We were attended by a nice girl named Neisha I believe was her name. She was very attentive and made our time their with my client pleasant with plenty of suggestions for great mixed drinks.

Outstanding Experience!

By NewHampshireDad |

Returned to La Luce after a three year absence and it was better than we remembered! We ended up having dinner there four of five nights. The food was outstanding. My wife and daughter have Celiac Disease and we were completely comfortable that their meals were gluten free. We tried all of the pasta dishes as well as the pork and salmon. All were made gluten free. The entire staff was wonderful but Stephan was amazing. We have enjoyed seeing him year after year as he always makes our experience special. We can’t wait to visit La Luce next year!

Excellent Restaurant

By JFortMyers |

We love this restaurant and dine here every time we go to Disney. We ate here for dinner Saturday, August 7, 2021. My wife had the shrimp pasta dish and loved it. The shrimp were large and tasty, and the pasta, made fresh in the restaurant, was perfectly cooked. I had the ravioli special, stuffed with ricotta and pesto, with a light lemon cream sauce. It was excellent. The breads, olive and focaccia, were great. We shared a Caesar salad, which was well prepared, nicely presented and tasty, and the dual desert, lemon cake and tiramisu, was superb. The staff was very friendly and our server very attentive. We can’t speak highly enough about this restaurant.

Fabulous

By Jackie D |

Wonderful restaurant and service. The salmon was fantastic, moist and flavorful, served on top of mash potatoes with a creamy butter sauce. I paired it with a glass of Prosecco and finished with dessert, their famous butterscotch pudding with a cappuccino. Let’s just say it was heavenly.

Great time

By Nandy T |

La Luce was Great! We stay on Bonnet Creek property couple times a year & we always make sure to visit La Luce every time we stay. The food was delicious as always and our server, Neisha was great. We have quite a bit of food restrictions but her knowledge on the menu allowed us to even try new dishes we didn’t know we could have. La Luce never disappoints & we can’t wait for next visit.

Spot on

By beachbabyJersey |

We are here our first night in the Waldorf (adjoining). Fabulous food, excellent service. They even sent up some sparkling water to my sons room as we had been struggling to find any for him ( he is autistic and will only drink sparkling water). We all had different dishes, pasta, pizza and meats and each one was delicious. Nice cold glass of white wine too.

There is a reason they are one of the best in Orlando

By LI Travels |

YUM. We were staying at Hilton Bonnet Creek and our waiter at their restaurant in the hotel told us we should check La Luce out while we're here and we're so glad he told us. Everything they make is very fresh. I checked out the reviews right before we went to find any suggestions on dishes. For some reason the fried olives kept coming up, so we ordered them. IMO there is probably much better apps to offer. They were fine, but wasn't anything amazing. For our meals I had the mushroom lasagna. Absolutely delicious if you're a mushroom/spinach fan. He had a pasta dish with meatballs added. Damn it was good. For dessert we were stuffed but had the tiramisu and it was great. Everything was fantastic. Highly recommend!!

Always delicious

By Maps53745453735 |

Fabulous dinner with my friend for her birthday. I always ask for the same waitress Karima. She is always so happy professional and helpful. Goes above and beyond every time. I’ve been coming here for over 15 years. The cauliflower salad is my fav and usually the prosciutto pizza which they will make special. Karima always pairs with the best wines. I’ll be back!!!

A must in Orlando

By Faith L |

So excited to stumble upon this gem while staying at the Hilton Bonnet Creek. Truly a remarkable dining experience. Everything we had was delicious and we happened to get a stunning sunset view. 10/10 would recommend and we will absolutely be back.

Amazing!

By flgrayhair |

We took our children and grandchildren your and everyone in our entire group had an amazing meal and a fantastic experience! We will be back here again for sure! We told our way to as we would give her a shout out but we have forgotten her name so we will just say that there wasn't a staff member there who didn't appear to be going over the top to take care of the dining experience for every customer in the restaurant!

Top notch service

By NicholasSP |

Deb and Jeff did a fantastic job behind the bar. They were fast, friendly and very knowledgeable about the wine list. The steak was flavorful and juicy, my wife's lamb chops were tender and flavorful as well. My regret was only dining here once during our stay.

Hard to believe this in #4 of 2,453 in Orlando...

By S A |

Be warned - diner might have an underwhelming experience... Arrived for dinner and hostess was not friendly - proceeded to seat us in a crowded section although restaurant was clearly not busy and remained below capacity during our dinner. Hostess: Hostess was more preoccupied with her cell phone and appeared annoyed when guests arrived for dinner; she did not seem to like or care for her job; she seated parties of 2 at a table for 4-6 people and squeezed smaller parties into crowded areas of the restaurant. Food: The food was underwhelming for the #4 restaurant in Orlando - at the end of the meal, my teenager said Olive Garden was better. Started with the ANTIPASTI MISTI and FRITTO MISTO. The ANTIPASTI MISTI was nothing special and arrived with burnt versions of the bread served at the table; the FRITTO MISTO had more green beans and a grand total of 4 calamari & rock shrimp - we counted; $16 for mostly string beans is absurd. The MARGHERITA pizza was so salty we barely ate it; the SEARED SALMON FILLET was visually unappealing and tasteless; the BISTECCA looked like what you would get at Golden Corral and was inedible My wine was bitter and the cocktail was marginal at best - the tablet provided with the menu had no section for beer, wine, or cocktails BUTTERSCOTCH PUDDING was like something from Carvel and the FLOURLESS CHOCOLATE CAKE should really be called "Tasteless" chocolate cake. Server: Our server was pleasant enough - however clearly seemed overwhelmed with the sheer number of tables he as serving - also did not seem too knowledgeable about the menu items when pressed for details on the ingredients and preparation. Service: Again for the #4 in Orlando, I expected more. We were halfway though our ANTIPASTI when the entrees arrived and we had to lift our ANTIPASTI plates out of the way so server can put down the entrees - timing of food delivery is a critical part of the dining experience Overall Experience: BELOW AVERAGE - for the moment we set foot the La Luce to the moment we departed the dining experience was just unpleasant; when the bill arrived we were SHOCKED to see that this unimpressive meal was actually more expensive than our previous Bull & Bear dinner.

A fantastic first-time experience!

By Theodoros P |

In the beginning of August, I went to La Luce for the very first time and it was absolutely amazing! I sat at the bar for dinner and Heather was wonderful. When I was deciding between a few different options (A guy likes to eat!), Heather was very helpful and had a great recommendation with the Ravioli. Since I love homemade pasta, the ravioli with the spinach, mushrooms, and lemon cream was on point! Will definitely come back in the future to try another dish off the menu!

18th Anniversary Dinner & Dessert

By Renee P |

Meal, Staff and setting were absolutely amazing. We tried two appetizers and three entrees and COULD NOT FINISH A PLATE! Serving size is very nice. The dessert took the cake for us! We shared their famous Butters Scotch Pudding with Toffee/Hazelnut/Chocolate Bark . AH MAZ ING!!!! WOW definitely going back.

A Great Meal

By David M |

We had reservations for dinner at Disney Springs, but after reading the menu posted outside La Luce, we cancelled the reservations and made new ones at La Luce. We're truly glad we did. We shared a pear and speck pizza to start, then had a risotto with duck leg confit and a campanelle alla bolognese with duck and meat ragu. What a great meal: the tastes were incredible and complementary, the wine recommendation was right on, the room beautiful, and the service knowledgeable. This is definitely on our list for a return trip.

Beware of credit card scam

By Wayne F |

The food and service was good. However we learned later we were charged $100 for a portion of the bill. We authorized a $38 charge. They also ran a $100 charge without any authorization.

Wonderful dinner

By Michael P |

We were staying at the Signia Hilton and chose this restaurant for dinner. Service was excellent and our waitress had worked there for 13 years. I had osso bucco and risotto, a special of the day, which was excellent. We ate indoors, but it is possible to eat outdoors as well.

So amazing to find a restaurant of this caliber in a hotel

By Mary34655 |

La Luce has a wonderful menu plus has daily specials. We enjoyed the restaurant so much that we ate there two consecutive nights. The grilled cauliflower and arugula salad was so good we ordered it both nights. The Devonshire pork was delicious, as was their Margherita pizza. One night we had coconut gelato that was topped with toasted coconut. The next night we enjoyed a strawberry and ricotta tart. It was delicious and the ricotta was made in-house. It’s those little details that make this restaurant so good. If she is available, ask for Tessa. She is an incredible asset to the restaurant and contributed to our wonderful dining experience.

Nice atmosphere & good food

By DustinB |

We had late Friday dinner upon arriving to hotel (Hilton Signia Bonnet Creek). Dining room still quite full at 8pm hour including several larger groups with kids. Our server was very pleasant and attentive throughout the meal. We found the food quite good albeit over priced. Wine by glass selection more limited and more expensive than desired.

My favorite South Orlando restaurant

By LadyDi207 |

We are local patrons and La Luce is always my choice for any special occasion. The servers are usually long time employees and are pleasant, friendly and professional. They always add to the experience. Karina was our server on our February visit. Try the chicken dish, the seabass or halibut or any of the pastas, which are all house made. Don’t miss the butterscotch pudding! It is about a 30 minute drive for us and always worth it.

Great Dining Experience!

By jennyleigh40 |

We’ve visited twice for dessert, but this was our first time trying dinner. It was a wonderful experience! Super fresh food and top-notch service. We tried the tomato soup, tomatoes with mozzarella, shrimp with homemade pasta and the gelato with homemade cookies for dessert. All super!! We can’t wait to return!!

Celebrated Parent’s 50th Wedding Anniversary

By evenesq |

On behalf of my parents who celebrated their 50th anniversary last night, all expectations were surpassed with great service and excellent food. Since I live in NY and was unable to be there, I spoke to Kaitlyn at La Luce who helped me arrange their meal to be covered. She executed the plan to what I wanted for my parents. My parents said the food was flavorful. The ribeye was like butter. They also mentioned how the server and Manager were very courteous. The manager took the time to stop by to chat and wish them congratulations. La Luce brought out this delightful dessert in a martini glass with Happy Anniversary written on a piece of chocolate. I’m so happy that I followed the positive reviews on TripAdvisor.

A little disappointed

By Mapo3 |

We ate here after hearing how special this restaurant was and looked forward to it very much. Overall it was disappointing. (We have eaten at expensive restaurants all around the world . )This one was excellent in some ways but not that outstanding. We were told that this was in the top 10 restaurants in Orlando. Olives appetizer was very good! My pasta was very average. The shrimp was over cooked. Butterscotch pudding was delicious!! Very rich!! Need to share it because it is so rich! Service at this restaurant was excellent! All of the staff was friendly and exceptional! Maybe I just need to order something different. Pizzas looked good!

Delicious food & excellent service!

By Michelle |

La Luce is one of our favorite restaurants to visit when we’re in town. The food is incredible and the staff always goes above & beyond to ensure an excellent experience. Definitely try pizza, pasta or the pork chop - so delicious! Highly recommend to anyone looking for an upscale atmosphere with amazing food!

Dinner at the bar

By Andrew H |

Had an early dinner at the bar. Neisha was our bartender. She was very knowledgeable with the menu and made some excellent recommendations. She made some great drinks too during my dinner. Had the bucatini and Caesar. Will definitely be back.

Lovely place, lovely people, try it.

By Partypedro1 |

Wonderful food, Wonderful atmosphere, wonderful staff especially the super passionate Joe and super nice Ceasar. Food was delicious and so was the wine .....not to mention the conversation with the two lovely people mentioned

Great food and even better service e.

By Eric H |

We came in for and we sat at the bar. Heather, the bartender, and the gentlemen working with her were fantastic. Very attentive. Very friendly. Ordered. A couple pizzas for dinner and they were out quickly and delicious. Had an old fashioned after dinner and the chocolate cake for dessert. Both the drink and dessert were outstanding as well. I come to Orlando quite a bit and will definitely make a return visit.

Prepare to Be Wowed!

By lopo |

Frankly, I didn't expect to be impressed because, most often, I find that hotel restaurants are lacking. I was pleasantly surprised that I was truly "wowed". I dined with 2 friends. We ordered an Antipasti Misti (Salami, Mortadella, Prosciutto, Roasted Peppers, Aged Provolone, Grilled Bread) to share. The presentation was lovely and the items were fresh and tasty. We each ordered the same entrée: Pappardelle Fantasia served with freshly-made pasta and spicy shrimp flavored with cherry tomato, garlic, saffron, and Pinot Grigio. All of the ingredients complimented each other; the meal was delicious. Our server, Rusty, was the epitome of an excellent server: attentive without hovering, offered suggestions when asked, refilled water glasses as needed, efficient and friendly. The restaurant itself is well designed, attractive and comfortable. The hostesses were welcoming. Prices were reasonable. I wouldn't hesitate to return (in fact, we did just that the following night!)

Amazing food and service!

By karencorriveau |

We dined at La Luce this past week! Food was amazing! My husband had the flounder special, absolutely delicious. I had the 4 cheese prosciutto pizza, the crust was the BEST I have ever had. Our server Rusty was attentive and was very helpful with the menu. We enjoyed it so much we cancelled our reservations at another restaurant and went back the next night!! The manager Rick Castner actually checked with the chef to see if it was possible for my husband to get a lamb shank! Bingo they had 1 left, they actually saved it and prepared it for my husband's birthday dinner! Coincidentally it was Chef Alberto's birthday as well and came out to bring a little something sweet for us! Well worth the visit if you are at the Hilton or the Waldorf Astoria. We highly recommend La Luce!

Underwhelming experience!

By Jbotz76 |

Had my birthday dinner here, read the reviews and figured it would be a great dinner. Coming from near Toronto, Ontario where we have excellent Italian food, based on the reviews I expected similar. We were welcomed immediately and seated right away, good start. Our server was pleasant, could have paid a little more attention to us. Came several minutes after our food arrived to see if anyone wanted freshly grated Parmesan. I had the hot Italian pizza, I felt the cheese was cheap grocery store grated, no spice whatsoever. Had the Fritti Misto which was unique since it had fried fennel, I love fennel but not a fan of it fried. I tried the daily special Carbonara, it wasn’t traditional but I thought I would give it a shot, it was extremely salty and the bacon instead of guanciale was not a good choice. My wife had the salmon which she enjoyed, my daughter had the ravioli which she thought was good and my son had the margarita pizza which he liked quite a bit. Overall, left little to be desired. Does not even compare to the restaurants at home.

Perfect for a date night!

By Sreilly8921 |

We visited over the weekend for our anniversary and everything was perfect! The service was incredible and food was delicious. We will definitely be back for more date nights.

Wow, hitting on all cylinders!

Gotta say, we had an amazing meal and experience! Everything was spot on from the host, bar service, table service, food quality and the attention to detail going on throughout the dining room. Go there and enjoy! Thinking about my next vist

Was my first visit but definitely will came back again . Just AMAZING! Everything was just perfect thank you

We had a diner meeting in a private room and loved everything about it!

By jtt37 |

We had a dinner for about 22 people in a private room and everything was great. The food was served family style, which was just delightful. The waitress and staff was attentive, without being intrusive, and the food was outstanding. They have a nice wine list, yo top things off.

Awesome service and food

By Vandana P |

My husband and I went for dinner to celebrate our milestone anniversary. Our waitress Nella was very gentle and gave us an excellent service. She was extremely patient with us and made the whole experience very memorable by giving us a bubbly cheers and happy anniversary cake( both not included in bill). we ordered half roasted pollo and pizza. Both was delicious. Highly recommend this place for a wonderful dinner.

Good Northern Italian Food

By daninnyc |

Service was great although we wished the restaurant served higher quality alcohol. Food was passable but we found the dishes somewhat muted. My pork chop - their speciality - was a bit tough . Still with few food options on site its a perfect place to unwind at night.

The best dinning experience with Nela

By Laura G |

Nela was an amazing server! The entire experience was wonderful, from the beginning to the end. She is personable, friendly, and makes you feel like home. Definitely recommend this restaurant and Nela!

Underwhelmed

By Mrs. B |

Food was good not excellent as expected. I called ahead to confirm a birthday celebration for our table. Was told via phone a candle would be provided. I did request not to be a free dessert ( I wanted to pay for it) and no singing. After our slow start and forgetful service team ( salad not brought out ) there was aperitif order. Then waited and waited. No dessert. Embarrassingly enough had to request / inform the server.

Our hiding ritual

By A Ernest S |

Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek is a hotel favorite and fortuitous that La Luce Restaurant is in the hotel. We often come here to hide for a few days and La Luce is always part of our dining agenda. Since Covid close downs we have done what we can to hide more and dine at La Luce. What a gem of a restaurant. Lia and her staff always make us feel welcome and the meal goes uphill from there. It was a treat to see full tables Saturday evening, the busiest it has been since they were closed. The minestrone soup was divine and as typical of La Luce not over salted. Obviously it was real stock in the soup and well done. Without being piggy, we wanted to each have another bowl of soup. We have dined all over La Luce’s menu and you need to try everything. Leave room for the over the top butterscotch pudding.

A Great Night at La Luce, Thanks to Ricardo & Camila

By Maria P. |

We had such a memorable dining experience at La Luce. The food was delicious—we loved the dirty martinis with blue cheese stuffed olives, the grilled octopus, and the fried fritto misto. For our main course, my husband and I shared the spaghetti con polpette, which was amazing. We couldn’t decide on dessert, so Ricardo surprised us by bringing both, and we especially enjoyed the Nutella dessert. Our son ordered the margarita pizza and finished every bite! Ricardo truly made our experience special, even letting us taste the wine before pouring. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does. A big thank you as well to Camila for accommodating our party; although we were booked for two, she kindly moved us to a larger table for the three of us. We will definitely be back.

Annual Orlando Trip

By MG753437 |

This is an excellent restaurant. We have a business conference every year at Disney. Generally would rather go about town for great restaurants than eat at hotel. This place is different. The food and service are fantastic. Ample selections for all tastes. Nice wine availability and wait staff are knowledgeable. We eat here every year, then go out in the town the other nights.

Stop in to see Heather

By AlliBai |

We had amazing service. Heather was awesome! The drinks were great. Try the pizza! We had the Bianca and the hot Italian. Yes!

Top Shelf Italian

By Justin M |

We were guests at the hotel and had dinner here, and loved it. We shared the calamari, a Caesar salad, the ravioli and the veal parm. All amazing! I’d definitely return.

Excessively expensive but nothing is fancy about it!

By George H |

I was shocked by a poor menu card and lacks of creativity. Do not expect a gourmet cuisine. As for the dessert, the only Italian item is the tiramisu. Besides, the Italian name, nothing else is really Italian. The service is a bit on the light side. Very expense but neither the menu, nor the environment nor the wine list nor the service deserve such dear price.

Best bartender!

The best drinks ever! I’m a single lady and have never went to a bar where I feel so comfortable!! Neisha was great and her drinks were even better! Everything she recommended was on point and she was always there for me 😜 Will def be back! 😁

Napa Valley comes to Orlando

By Taylor B |

Created by the late and famed Napa Valley chef and restauranteur Donna Scala, La Luce is a Napa-influenced Italian ristorante housed in a hotel's sleek, art-filled space designed by Edson Campos. Located at 14100 Bonnet Creek Resort Lane in the Hilton Orlando Bonnet Creek Hotel in Orlando, Florida, southwest of the intersection of Epcot Center Drive and I-4, it is open from 6 to 10 Thursday through Tuesday and specializes in thin crust pizza, home-made pasta and lasagna, all prepared in an Italian country kitchen. For starters, my wife and I had bowls of minestrone, a plate of salami, mortadella, prosciutto, roasted peppers, aged provolone with grilled bread and Caesar salad with parmesan, croutons, romaine lettuce and Caesar dressing. For an entree, my wife had a seared salmon filet with potato puree, tomato and chive butter sauce with broccoli and French fries. I opted for a plate of pork and veal meatballs with tomato and aged provolone with mashed potatoes and sauteed spinach. For dessert, we shared butterscotch pudding with house-made toffee and a large slice of flourless chocolate cake with coconut gelato. There simply isn't enough time to sample all of the wonderful restaurants in Orlando.

Joe made the meal

By cheapfisherman |

LaLuce is a high end Itallian restaurant. Excellent service. We enjoyed our Magical Dinning experience. Joe's suggestions were spot on. You don't normally have chicken out. Theirs was exceptional. Just a bit spicy. Flavor not hot. Wine choice was good as well. We may consider a second night out if there is time.

Excellent all around

By DallasLonghorn |

Beautiful setting, wonderful food and ambience, terrific service. Not a typical hotel restaurant, not a typical Italian restaurant. If you're at the Hilton Bonnet Creek or Waldorf Astoria, you should really try this.

Fantastic experience

By Lauren12345678910 |

La Luce was a perfect experience for a couples dinner. The food was amazing and the service was smooth and friendly. A manager even stopped by to chat and gave great recommendations on things to do and see for the rest of our trip. Thank you Lia!

Great Food & Service

By Rachel R |

Heather and Cesar took care of us at the bar! Service and food were excellent We will definitely be back!

Beautiful Restaurant

By Paul G |

A beautiful restaurant. We sat outside. The Bostini Trifle dessert was incredible. 1-10, 10 being best, I give the whole experience a 9-. Pricey though. Just my wife and I ate. I only had 1 glass of wine. We had 2 salads, 2 main courses, and 2 desserts, $131, not including tip. If you can afford it, it is worth it.

Amazing

By Miranda G |

Fantastic service, food was phenomenal. Very lovely experience all around. Will definitely be coming back.

Great place and staff!

By jonathan M |

Went with my fiancée and we sat at the bar with Heather, she made us great drinks and then we had the strawberry ricotta torta based on her recommendation and loved it! Give her a raise!!!

Great food, great service

By Rev |

Food is always great, I have eaten there many times with different visiting family. Always impressed with the experience. Ask for Nella or Stefano as server.

Nela for the win

By Tour60766 |

Food was excellent and the service from Nela was fantastic. We had a large group, and though she had many other tables she kept us well looked after and still made time to be personable and fun with us.

La luce - dinner

By Vanessa F |

Went to La Luce for a quick bite to eat so decided to sit at the bar. Our bartender Neisha was fun, friendly, and all around a great experience. Had the ravioli and the strawberry torta. Will be back for the food and the amazing service!

Best romantic restaurant in Orlando

By T V |

Wow! We had a very unexpected and incredible dinner at this beautiful Italian restaurant. We were staying at the Hilton and did not expect this “hotel restaurant” to be as wonderful as it was. Tessa was a great waitress who helped us select menu items and wines. We had the burrata appetizer along with an addictive side of fried olives and Marcona almonds…WOW it was Seriously addicting ! Our ribeye was cooked to perfection and the grilled vegetables were so fresh. Asked for a side of spaghetti with Parmesan cheese sauce and their homemade gelato . This restaurant has nothing to do with the stigma of hotel restaurants the service was it five stars and the food was six if I could give it that. Definitely can’t wait to come back.

Great place to eat

By nursetina74 |

Pork Chops, Chicken and Beet Salad are great choices here. Wonderful place, delicious food. Great service, and drinks were good.

They shine

By Rick S |

The light shines. They shine with their exquisite food and their well-kept place. It is very cozy to spend an evening here and savor its delicacies.

Great Time

By Jamee D |

I had a great experience at La Luce. The staff was super friendly, drinks and food were great. My husband and I had a magical night. Definitely visit this spot.

Overrated

By bob34280fl |

Its located in the Bonnet Creek Hilton so its convenient if you're staying here but I would not go out of the way to get here. The server was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The food was just average. Not sure how they are rated so high.

Great Dinner!

By Brantley N |

Sat at the bar and had a wonderful dinner and received phenomenal service from Heather who was attentive and hospitable!

Spicy Chicken

By Ann1234736 |

We are staying in the Hilton and decided to Luce as it was in the hotel. My husband had the tomato soup and steak. He enjoyed his meal. I had the Caesar salad and chicken. The salad was a little overdressed with dressing. The chicken was way too spicy. The entree and salad selection seemed limited.

Delicious 😋

By Suzi B |

Delicious meal! Our server Tessa gave us outstanding service. We had the anti pasta. I had Pollo Arrosto and my hubby had Trecce con Polpette. Both were very good. The butterscotch pudding was the perfect dessert to end our meal. It’s a must try!!

Heather is happening!

By 1trueVolfan |

Heather was the best! Entertaining, attention to detail, and provided great menu information! Coming back this April... Can't wait!

Nella is a pro!!!

By Karissa B |

Arnella was amazing, personable and gave perfect service. Food was delicious and with beautiful presentations. 10/10 recommend dining here.

Delicious, spectacular, amazing.

By Karen Mae |

The meal was like heavenly angels reaching down to bring me up to the great lord above. I go here every week now with my rich husband and my grandkids. Living the life LOL (lots of love).

Amazing place

By Ben |

Truly loved our dinner. Great atmosphere and even better food. Me and my friends were very happy with the experience.

A big disappointment, too cold and expensive for the food and wine they present

By Jota Gil |

The space is charming and the staff nice, sometismes a little absent. The air temperature was extremely low to the point of having to wear a light coat to keep me warm. The menu is very limited with few options, hardly deserving the prices listed. Though the food was well cooked and presented, I couldn't see no reason for the high prices presented. We chose a red wine that appered as French on the Wine & Licquor menu but in the end we noticed that was made in the Oregon state.

Great restaurant, great drinks, great staff!

By STEVEN GREGORY O |

We were here on Valentine’s weekend and this place was amazing. We ate/drank here each if the three nights we stayed here since it was so good the first night! The staff (Debra and Chris) in the bar were fantastic! Their double aged old fashion (custom blend of three bourbon/whiskeys) was really great! (I’m and old fashioned connoisseur!). Staff was super friendly and made great recommendations on drinks and food! We will definitely stay here again next time we are in Orlando! (Btw their pool - lazy River, and pool bar were fun too!).

Very good

By beate10 |

Fantastic italian restaurant, wie visit very time, when wie are in Orlando. Outstanding food, nice service, lovely atmosphere.

Excellent experience

By Tim1873 |

Very tasty and high quality Italian food, service was excellent also with the bar staff creating bespoke mocktails for the children which was a lovely touch. Not the biggest menu I’ve seen, that said there was plenty to choose from in my opinion. Definitely recommend and will be going back in the future.

Excellent

By 1975GC |

Very good restaurant and excellent service. Waiter knowledgeable about the good wine selection and the service was excellent. The pasta dishes were very good ranging from oddly peppery meatballs to an amazingly good ragu. The tiramisu got a good review from the kids (whose benchmark is our local Italian whose chef from Treviso makes the best known to man, apparently). Good value for the quality and service. Would definitely visit again when in Orlando. Highly recommended.

Price-performance ratio not right

By Silke |

As with all restaurants in Orlando or the USA, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately no longer right. We had a pizza, all the other dishes were too expensive for us. No or low quality at high prices. Unfortunately, that's how it is at the moment.

Wonderful atmosphere

By Rebecca W |

First time visiting and I was really impressed! I had a fabulous martini made by Naisha, she was so sweet and made me feel like I’ve known her forever. Can’t wait to come back and try the food as I was waiting before a different reservation.

Amazing!

By Sharon |

We went to have appetizers and a drink.! Ended up with the pork chop! Melt in your mouth fantastic! The Chef came out and was so gracious & appreciative! Next we know we received an amazing desert as a Thank you for coming in & our comments on the delicious meal!

Nice restaurant at Signia Bonnet Creek Orlando.

By Jaskel08 |

Located in the Signia Bonnet Creek Hotel. Of the various restaurants at the hotel, it is more formal. As with any hotel restaurant, it is overpriced……. However not as overpriced as Harvest Bistro. Staff the great. Atmosphere is great. Location within the restaurant is great…. on the 2nd floor overlooking the pools and gardens. There is an indoor and outdoor section. The food was great.

Phenomenal Italian Food

By Anthony0809 |

Food and staff were amazing! We shared a salami pizza as an appetizer. The roasted yellow pepper sauce was amazing and the perfect crust. I had the Malfadine pasta alla Lina and my friend has the seared salmon filet. Both dishes were phenomenal. The Bostini Trifle for dessert was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. I love this restaurant and the staff did a great job with social distancing, wearing masks, etc. It was a perfect evening!!

TellItLikeIt Is

By M S |

Great dinner. Excellent service from Stephan. Cocktails were also excellent. Nice compact menu with a variety of selections. The caprese salad was very nice. The pizza was also well done and had an excellent crust & flavor. Much better than Ravello at the 4 Seasons.

Creative menu, exceptional service

By 303vinceb |

Who knew you could fry olives? Turns out they were amazing! I dine out quite often and it's rare that I see anything on a menu that I haven't seen before. La Luce had several unique items that were not just different for the sake of being different. They were well thought out, well executed dishes. I ordered a veal chop which was absolutely delicious. For dessert, the butterscotch pudding was beyond belief! It might have been the richest, creamiest dessert I've ever had in my life. Our server was outstanding; so attentive and very knowledgeable. His skill at performing his job enhanced our experience at La Luce tremendously.

The best Italian restaurant in Orlando

By Rabie E |

Stumbled on this gem when one of my friends told me it was the best restaurant in Orlando so I had to try it with my family for our first trip after the pandemic, plus complimentary parking is always a plus. Walked in to a gorgeous space and you can feel the friendly smile from the hostess behind her mask and she sat us right Front of the action where we watched fresh made pizzas and antipastis, I had a pasta course to try the waters and it was one the best. Our server Karima I believe was her name, guided us through the whole dinner, we followed and we didn’t regret( kudos to management for training). The butterscotch pudding was the perfect end to an amazing dinner. The only con, is that I have to plan another visit as soon as possible.

All around Amazing

By Molly H |

We ate here two nights and had not only the best food and service, but amazing cocktails! Debra and Jeff did a great job at the bar, even making us unique cocktails just for our tastes! What a treat.

Wonderful Restaurant

By CHERYL M |

Impeccable service and absolutely delicious food, highly recommend. If in the Disney World, Orlando Florida area absolutely a wonderful dining experience.

Orlando trip

By MG753437 |

Great restaurant in Hilton Bonnet Creek. La Luce is the real deal. Small but ample menu. Pizza and high end Italian. Servers are very knowledgeable about menu. Great service. Dong miss out on the pork chop. Signature dessert is outstanding. Don’t let the butterscotch fool you. I don’t particularly care for butterscotch but this dessert was fantastic

Do not miss

By SLIPER |

All around excellent all you can expect from a restaurant it should get a Michelin star I have been here a few times and always consistent don’t miss out I know you will enjoy

Excellent dinner on the patio

By Jerry K |

This is the second time we have been here. Because of Covid we ate on the patio. The service was excellent and the food was outstanding. There were 4 of us and we all ordered different dishes. All of them came out hot and were cooked perfectly.

Amazing Date Night Spot

By Ali M |

Everything was so enjoyable from start to finish! My husband and I grabbed drinks at the bar where we met Neisha. She was kind enough to go through the food menu with us and made fantastic drinks on top of that. She recommended the Fritto Misto, which was to die for. Overall lovely service, drinks and food, we will be back!

Had a great time!

By Robert J |

I went in recently with a couple friends and we sat at bar. Food was really solid and atmosphere was nice. Heather was our bartender and she was super nice, made us feel welcome. She made some great drinks for us also. I asked for something off menu and it was really amazing. Will definitely be coming back!

Covid tine was nice. Now not so much

By Mommarealtor |

Great food. Not so great hostess. We come often but she’s always rude. Can’t stay away the food is authentic Italian cooking

Amazing Service! Made our anniversary so special!

By Victoria H |

We went to La Luce for our first wedding anniversary and it was amazing! I am vegan and gluten free due to health issues and always feel nervous going out to eat because I don't want to put anyone out. They were SO nice and made me a gluten free pasta with mixed veggies and even had gluten free bread for me to dip in the olive oil. They gave us the 5 star treatment and Tessa took such great care of us!! We were planning on going down to the pool after dinner and they even volunteered to take our dinner upstairs to our room for us! The BEST service, delicious food, and they made us feel so special! Can't wait to see them again!

Excellent dining experience

By richard c |

Located in the Signia Hilton near Disney, the restaurant was a pleasant surprise. We were fortunate to have Joe as our waiter. Very personable and helpful. He accurately answered questions about the food and was spot on with the wine recommendation. The food was delicious. All 3 of us were very happy with what we ordered. We had a reservation for around opening time so we had no wait. While the food was excellent, the meal was not inexpensive (and I suspect that proximity to Disney contributed to the cost). We also ate at the famous Bull & Bear which is next door and La Luce was the better value (not to say Bull & Bear does not have excellent food). If we are ever back in the area, we will dine there again.

Excellent meal

By AdnanBL |

Excellent meal - The food was great and the service was spot on. Joe and Tessa went above and beyond to make our family dinner memorable. The manager Katheleen stopped by and checked on our dinner. I highly recommend the Pork Chop and the Chicken. Make sure to save room for dessert, the butterscotch is a must!

“Almost Perfect....”

By Summit Seeker |

Orlando has been enjoying the climb up the culinary ladder lately, as there are quite a handful of fine dining establishments popping up. La Luce at the Hilton Bonnet Creek Resort is among them. When entering from the outside, one can’t help but notice the beautiful oversized wine cabinet taking up the entire wall on the left, that is stunning. There’s also a small swanky bar area; as well as a couple of cozy dining rooms, and an outdoor patio, weather permitting. The decor is clean lines, modern, and near elegant. This is definitely a place for a special occasion. The menu only takes a few seconds to glance over, as it’s a bit on the small side. But with an array of brick oven pizzas, appetizers, salads, and even a soup of the day, there should be enough to satisfy most appetites. Started with a really tasty Caesar salad, that if I had to complain, might have had just a bit too much dressing. Entrees included the veal meatballs in marinara and twisted pasta, and the spicy shrimp pasta, with fresh tomatoes. Both were excellent, with the shrimp pasta taking home the blue ribbon. The flavors were unique, and the pasta cooked a perfect al dente. The table bread and olive oil were tasty as well. Service here was perfect. Our server was prompt and knowledgeable, and even made an excellent wine choice. Every need was met, and nothing was left undone. Glasses stayed topped off, and extra bread was brought without asking. Overall, we were impressed. From the moment we walked in, till the moment we left, we felt like this was absolutely a must try restaurant. The only tidbit I have to mention is: we had made this reservation as our anniversary dinner; and were even congratulated on that as we were being seated. But, as far as anything else, we were never made to feel anything special. There was no small dessert with anything written on it, no anything. And that’s kind of a letdown; especially after such a great meal. I still recommend trying La Luce, as it truly is a special restaurant. And I’ll still give it a five for now....Bon Appetite

The best restaurant in the Waldorf / Signia complex

By Pepe Rocha |

Fantastic place. The food was really good and the service just perfect. By far much better than Bull and Bear at the Waldorf (which I would not return, not even if someone pays for it)

La Luce is BACK!!! And so is the pudding!

By John C |

Stopped in the have some dessert... the butterscotch pudding of course. 😁 It was awesome! The hotel and restaurant were clearly creating a clean, sanitized environment. That was great to see them take those precautions. Loved the pudding and the service was awesome! Thank you for all you’re doing to keep patrons safe and continuing to serve delicious food!

AMAZING

By NicoleSienna |

HOLY MOLY! This place was incredible. I highly recommend it. We had Joe/Joseph as our waiter. He had spot-on recommendations for every member of our party. I was celebrating my birthday, and he went above and beyond with suggestions for our wine suggestions, appetizers, and meal. The restaurant was beautiful inside and out. I literally would come back to Orlando to eat here.

Birthday Celebration in Private Dining Room

By Marc R |

Lauren K helped us book a birthday dinner for my 19 year old son in a private dinging room. The space was perfect and the food and service were out of this world. Lauren helped us design a custom menu and everything was delicious with each family style dish complimenting the other! The flat bread pizzas and all the pasta dishes were a big hit with everyone in our group and the deserts were crazy good! Our server Joe made excellent drink recommendations and made sure the kids had fun mocktails to enjoy. At the end of the party the surprised us with a birthday cake with no charge.

Very nice restaurant

By John N |

One of the best items on the menu is the bone-in pork chop. Wonderful seasoning and flavor. Service was excellent.

My birthday 🎉

By Andrea S |

Fist time in this restaurant and the experience was ABSOLUTELY AMAZING 100% recommended. Leo was so nice and kind helping us to make our selection. We’re definitely come back ♥️

Good food - terrible service and lack of communication from manager

By Sergio M |

I arranged a booking for 12 people weeks in advance of my wife’s 60th birthday. I tried to contact the restaurant many times for them to arrange for some balloons and a cake. The manager finally spoke to me one day prior to the event after leaving several messages for him to contact me. Sadly, they could not provide a cake, but managed to get two balloons. We asked for children’s meals to be bought out first, but they only brought out one child’s meal, leaving the others upset as they were very hungry. The service was not good at all. We had to constantly flag down a waiter to request drinks. We ordered Prosecco which was left on the side for some time before we found someone to pour it for us. Meals were all brought out randomly - some got their starters at the same time as their main course. They constantly forgot to bring out food we had ordered. Waiter served another table after opening our bottle of wine, which we had to then wait to celebrate. There was a minimum 20% service charge added, which we asked them to take off and gave 10% reluctantly. I was very disappointed, as this was meant to be a.special evening! Such a shame that the food is good, but service let it down badly.

Amazing Italian Restaurant

By cbarilla |

I took my wife to La Luce for her birthday and we had an amazing meal. Everything from the time walked in was perfect. We really wanted Caprese for a starter but it was not on the menu but not an issue as our waiter Rusty said he would take care of it and soon after brought out a perfect heirloom tomato and burrata caprese that was delicious. Then we moved to the penne pasta with pesto, green beans and potatoes. Maybe one of the best pasta dishes we had in a while. We travel to Florence Italy every year and they are known for Bistecca. We saw it on the menu and had to give it a try. Told them to cook it the only way offered in Florence "rare" so we could compare. And it was as close as you could get. We will definitely be back and suggest you try this restaurant while in town.

Excellent service and food

By Charles Y |

Had a business dinner here and it was great. Service was excellent and the ambiance was first rate. Food and drinks and desert were served beautifully and the food was very tasty. The menu had enough variety to satisfy any taste. Would go back whenever we are in the Orlando area.

Birthday magic

By Ashley L |

Was in the area visiting a friend for their birthday. We didn’t have a reservation, looked at the menu and decided to grab food and drinks. We sat at the bar. Heather took care of us. She was great, went over the menu, made suggestion on which items were good to share, was funny and personable. She even made us a special shot for our friends birthday. Def will be back! Make sure you get the charcuterie board!

Very nice Valentines Day dinner

By philly099 |

We had a nice time on Valentine's Day for our special dinner. Our server was very attentive and helpful in helping us decide what to order. I was torn because I heard their meatballs were very good and I wanted to try them, but I also wanted the duck risotto. She suggested getting the meatballs, by themselves as a starter and I did. They were delicious... of course, I shared. My wife ordered the seafood pasta which was very tasty... and a lot. I did get the duck risotto and it was very good. I would recommend it. They brought out their signature butterscotch pudding dessert because it was also our anniversary. With it, they had chocolate covered pieces of toffee, to be used to scoop up the pudding and eat together. Make sure you save room for it! The wine list was pretty good and not overly priced. A really nice way to celebrate a special occasion.

Amazing!!!

By Adriana R |

What an amazing dinner experience!! There is nothing bad here and the staff was fantastic! Thank you Luke and Nela for the suggestions and great energy.

Fantastic Italian in a beguiling, tranquil atmosphere.

By Dianne D |

Fantastic Italian in a beguiling, tranquil location. The bruschetta is a fantastic starter. We had the pear pizza topped with carmelized onions and arugula. Great place for good conversation and hospitable service. Our server Chris was first rate!!!

Great find and experience for first timers

We were delighted with this find for dinner and will return on our next trip. Our table was socially distanced, we felt safe, staff was wonderful. Meals were great and everyone enjoyed his experience (5 of us). We like to try new things when visiting and this experience was great.

The food was exceptional every dish was full of flavor, fresh, and hot! An a special thanks to Chef Gee for recommendation made my birthday that much more special!

Service is like what you expect at a roadside McDonalds

By Andreas HS |

A nice restaurant in a nice setting with a family friendly menu. Food is very good, but having been here several times over the past few years we are always surprised at the extremely poor service and lack of service attitude - writing this while having waited 40 minutes on getting to order food, after having to wait 15 minutes for our reservation first.

Heather is the BEST!

By Bryan C |

I had the pleasure of dining at La Luce two nights in a row in August while attending the Florida Association of Mortgage Professionals Convention & Tradeshow. The food was excellent and the service was TOP NOTCH. Heather was our server both nights. After long days, Heather was on top of everything and made us laugh all night. I will return for the food, but more the incredible service Heather provides!

Love it

By 834juliand |

Great food and service. Love the atmosphere Wonderful place for a date night. Will be visiting again very soon

Go somewhere else.

By BeenThereGoingSoon |

The waiter was snooty, inattentive, and removed food when we weren’t finished eating!! It was a very unpleasant birthday event for me. The espresso martini had no liquor - it was just weak espresso and had no foam or coffee beans. I highly do not recommend this restaurant!!

Wow! The staff here is amazing.

By Madison |

Wow! The staff here is amazing. Chris was attentive and made sure my friend and I had a great meal. Ate here two nights in a row. The first night eating there, the manager talked with the chef and created a vegan pizza for myself. The second night I did the tasting menu and I'm already missing the food. It was so good. I can't wait to go back.

Good but could be better

By SLIPER |

This is Avery good restaurant but it is missing something that could put it over the top I just can’t put my finger on it don’t get me wrong you will have a good time and the food and the service are good I just don’t know what it’s missing

Amazing food

By tom |

Great service , great food . waitress was very knowledgeable and made some wonderful recommendations. Definitely give this restaurant a try food is delicious. will be back.

Very average

By WorldTravel2012_13 |

All very average. Have no idea why it is 4th amongst 2400 restaurants in Orlando! It should be around 500 amongst 2400. Pork pasta was tasteless. The deserts were grocery store quality. Service was very average as well.

Always exceeds expectations!

By Drew R |

We have been here several times in the last couple of years. This place just keeps getting better!! Every year they exceed our expectations! Chef Shirley is amazing, the food is incredible and the experience is even better! A must DINE!

Amazing service!

By Relax580661 |

I came to La Luce for a quick dinner and sat at the bar. Neisha took amazing care of me. She made me feel very welcome. She made wonderful suggestions. The silk sheet pasta was so delicate and perfectly cooked. It was delicious. Neisha’s bourbon and coffee cocktail was the perfect ending to my meal. I would definitely return!

Outstanding!

By pageporter |

This restaurant is located inside the Hilton Signia Hotel. Definitely make a reservation if you plan on going on a weekend. The restaurant is modern with a small bar area and outdoor patio seating. Staff is very pleasant and will steer you in the right direction on food choices. We ordered the roasted cauliflower salad with arugula and beans. It was delicious! We asked our waiter if the chef could split one of the pasta dishes as an appetizer which we were told “no, the chef doesn’t like to do that”, than I guess he changed his mind because it was served to us spilt. This pasta dish was called the pappardelle fantasia which was pasta with shrimp in a spicy red sauce. It was fantastic!! All pasta is made in house. For entrees we ordered the grilled pork chop and the salmon. Both were outstanding! Highly recommend this restaurant and I’m still dreaming of that pasta dish!

LB at La Luce

By bowenlyndon |

Come here often - food consistently good - our waiter Tessa and rest of staff always very friendly - nice and quiet great value.

Good but not outstanding Italian eating

By GordCummings |

The is a restaurant within a large Hilton Hotel. The setting is nice with a large water recreation area and vegetation outside the window. The menu is not what one would expect in a higher end truly Italian restaurant. No eggplant parmigiana, and so on. Service was very good and it was a pleasant evening, A very good restaurant within a hotel, not one that is worth the drive to get there in our opinions.

Great experience

By dmdelgado1 |

I was celebrating Mother’s Day me, myself, and I. Such a great evening, I felt important and special for the way the employees treated me. The service was excellent and the food OMG! I’m not a steak fan but the Ribeye I ate was DELICIOUS!!!. The Risotto was very tasty and LOVE IT.!!! I’m bad remembering names but every person that interacted with me were very courteous, and friendly. The Lemon Cream Cake was yummy.!!! If you want to have a lovely evening I totally recommend this restaurant.

Highly recommend! Delicious dinner and great ambiance

By April D |

My husband and I had dinner here the night before my work conference began. We had a lovely time and enjoyed it very much. I had the special, which was shrimp and scallops on a bed of risotto, and a caprese salad and they were very good! My husband had the corn soup as an appetizer and the ravioli for dinner and they were also delicious. The highlight of the night was the butterscotch dessert. It was whipped and light with a dollop of whipped cream on the top and served with chocolate pieces (that had a thin line of caramel in the middle) for dipping. It was divine!!! The service was also very good. The wait staff were very attentive and worked well together. They made our meal a very nice experience. I was skeptical when we went to the restaurant because of some of the reviews on this site, but we found it to be a great experience and would highly recommend this restaurant to others!

Best time

By Cynthia R |

I wasnt sure about dinning at La Luce. But after we arrived our bartender made it worth our time. Neisha was amazing. She made Me feel glad we stayed. She was very welcoming and knowledgable. Cant want to be served by her again.

Loved La Luce

By Rosetano |

During our 7 night stay at the Signia - we had dinner at La Luce on 4 occasions. The menu was a bit limited but the service and quality were excellent.

Only a five?

By Theguys2 |

Our Christmas dinner at La Luce deserves 10 stars and then some. La Luce had diners not show up for their reservation which is so rude and we benefited. We had the best table in the house with excellent service. Obviously La Luce adhered to Covid regulations and tables were properly spaces so at no point did we feel unsafe. It’s easy at La Luce to over eat because everything on the menu sounds so go and when properly announced by a server it sounds even better. We started with marinated olives to keep it light. They had a Christmas Choppino Special with a thick tomato and fennel broth. Oh my Buddha. It was over the top chuck full of tender clams, mussels shrimp scallops and calamari. In addition there were very tender pieces of fennel. We ate our entire generous serving and even sopped up the broth. No room for dessert but should you want dessert we highly recommend the butterscotch pudding

Food...

By runash202 |

This place was dang near impossible to get into, not sure why. We walked into the place to grab a drink beforehand and could have had dinner an hour earlier and saw a ton of open tables. That aside, the Hilton this is located in is a bit rough around the edges. Being one of the top places in Orlando, I expected a lot. It was good but it makes think the food scene is lacking terribly if this is so highly rated. The service was middle of the road and the ambiance the same. Food was tasty but not top 5 in a metro area. Compared to others pretty good but lower expectations if you come from a food town or are a foodie.

Environment not worth it.

We had late reservations but when we got there the table was not nice. Able to get another table but it was too cold in the restaurant. Wanted to go get jackets for the family but decided just to leave. Overall did not feel comfortable about the restaurant. Problem with the whole Disney thing is you’re such a captive to their system of high prices, limited service and frustration. Thank goodness for having a rental car

Can't get much better

This restaurant knows how do run things properly and the food is absolutely amazing. I had the "Mafaldine alla Lina" pasta dish and was blow away by the flavor and how it was presented. I was able to have a slice of the "Prosciutto di Parma" pizza which was recommended by our waitress. The crust was thin but crunchy on the outside and somewhat doughy on the inside. On top of the exceptional food, the waitress and other servers we had were very nice and very helpful.

Never been here before!! Would definitely come back! Great food & atmosphere!

Wow! We had a very unexpected and incredible dinner at this beautiful Italian restaurant. We were staying at the Hilton and did not expect this “hotel restaurant” to be as wonderful as it was. Enrique was a amazing server who was quite helpful with our questions and also recommended various foods as well as dessert!! The housemade pasta was amazing! Can't wait to come back to this "hidden" gem!!

Great food

Busy restaurant with a good variety on the menu - food was great and tasty. Portions are quite large so we only had main courses

Great food, wonderful service

By far the best dining experience in this area. The entire hotel, bars and obviously La Luce are very good.

Sat at the bar and had an amazing time with Heather. She made excellent recommendations and her gin strawberry drink was so good. Definitely go there!

Enjoyed our Meal

Enjoyed our meal here. Husband and I had salmon, our 4 year old had spaghetti with Parmesan cheese. We all had chocolate cake (similar to a lava cake) for dessert. Beautiful atmosphere. We had a great waitress. Was probably the best meal we had in Orlando. Would recommend and would go again.

Top Notch Service!

We have dined at La Luce for years, the food is always superb but the service is the turning point to an amazing experience. Karima, is an extraordinary server who provides the epitome of a fine dining experience. Deborah in the lounge area, is very attentive and provides a creative approach to perfection. We can’t wait to return! Kudos to these ladies for their attention to detail and caring approach to customers!

One of the best Italian restaurants in Orlando

By W Family |

After dining here several times, a review is warranted. La Luce is without a doubt one of the best Italian restaurants in Orlando. Food and service (skillfully led by Luke and team) were impeccable. While technically located “off-property” at Bonnet Creek adjacent to WDW, the restaurant is conveniently located near Disney’s Boardwalk and close to I-4. The restaurant is located in the Signia by Hilton resort and has a sleek, modern decor. Menu consists of traditional and innovative Italian dishes frequently supplemented by specials. Unlike most Italian restaurants, the food here focuses on quality over quantity getting favors, presentation and more spot on. The butterscotch pudding and Nutella cake were outstanding desserts. Note that valet parking is available with a reservation.

Tasty dinner inside the Signia

My family & I stayed at the Signia for our Disney World Family Vacation. This restaurant is located within the hotel. Tasty dinner!

Outstanding Food But even Better Service

By Rhonda M |

La Luce is in my opinion one of the best restaurants in Orlando. Their service is phenomenal. The restaurant is clean and the staff are beyond friendly. From the host to the servers, you're treated with kindness and always greeted with a smile. Luke has consistently been my server. He remembers my order and is on top of getting my meal out quickly. He is attentive to my needs the entire visit. My food is always hot and fresh. The presentation is always beautiful and the taste is even better. Thank you to all the La Luce staff!!

Nice food, ok ambiance, felt hurried to pay and leave.

Restaurant located off the Signia lobby. Considering its name, the restaurant has rather poor lighting and as a result it lacks a degree of ambiance. All in all though, for a hotel restaurant it is nice enough. Food was very nice. Limited menu but food was delicious. Service was very attentive but we couldn’t help feeling like they wanted us out of the door as quick as possible. The bill was delivered to the table, without requesting it, whilst we were still eating desert. No option of another drink or a coffee after our meal. It was a real shame.

Wonderful food experience

Wonderful food. We started with the fried olives appetizer, which was very light and nice. We had the Ossobuco special. The meat was tender and well done. The shrimp pasta was done perfectly and we added a pizza to try. The wine selection is good and vast. They even made a limoncello spritz which wasn’t on the menu.
