The food was fantastic, and the service was outstanding. I’ve visited this restaurant many times, but Byron's explanations of the menu and his recommendations for the dishes were remarkable. He truly went above and beyond. If you plan to visit, be sure to ask for Byron, he is excellent!

The food was first-rate, and Nerea's service was magnificent. A visit is highly recommended. They have Valet Parking, so parking was not a problem

Fantastic surprise to find this restaurant in Coral Gables. Relaxed atmosphere with outdoor dining and great staff and excellent service. The food was A-1 - we ordered the grilled prawns and the crab appetizer. Nerea was our hostess and she was terrific!

I believe they were understaffed. We waited 20+ minutes for them to turnover and prepare our table. The staff were very nice and apologetic but the restaurant wasn’t crowded. Byron was our server and he was great. Very helpful and informative. The food was delicious, but appetizers and entrees arrived in the wrong order. Moreover, our cocktails didn’t arrive until well into our meal. Nevertheless, the food is worth it and I wouldn’t hesitate to return. Again, all the staff were friendly and helpful. They just need to be more efficient.

First time to try la patagorda the food was super delicious fresh my family and I ordered three plates branzino and grilled octopus and shrimp ceviche all plates tasted amazing Our server Liset was very friendly she suggested the food for us she was taking care of us all the time her service was great She has the best smile we will definitely be back

Croquetas Carpacio were phenomenal. A mix of crab and fried sweet plantains. It truly exotic flavor. As a main dish we had the Arroz con camaron which is the equivalent of a creepy rice with shrimp. Also had some pieces of fried sweet plantain in it. Very unique and flavorful dish. Truly enjoyed it. For dessert we had the flan with coconut. It was simply sinful. Creamy and delicious without being too sweet. Our waitress, Nerea, took the time to explain the dishes to us and how they were made as well as they were a part of her culture. She also provided us with a very unique after dinner, the occur on the house.

We were having lunch last January 3rd..We went for the recommendations on the internet..When we arrived we asked about the dishes and we are advised to see the networks on instagram since we had doubts about the shellfish they promote in their letter.We ordered according to the networks but what arrived in addition to very expensive was without taste and the simplest that can be found..Abuse can and if the client wants to pay it forward but not with lies.When we complain then we are told that they will talk to those of the networks to change that post..We must be more professional and less abusive not to say thief..A dish that you pay very dearly for the trash that they give you in quantity and flavor.Obviously I will never return and if they are just as cool to charge the service should be just as professional in what they serve...

I was in Miami, visiting from Seattle, looking for a unique food experience. This exceeded all expectations of anything I could hope for. Unfortunate I had to fly all the way across the country to find it and look forward to coming back when I’m back in town. This was fabulous and our waiter, Byron, was wonderful.

Let me starting by saying I am ecuadorian living in the US and visits Ecuador every year, I'm familiar with the local food most of the dishes are extremy salty (complaint to the server, manager shines by been absent and the chef doesn't care. I say this because I am in the hospitality business working for multi national companies, I know what customer service should be but here they can't even grasp the concept. One of my guest is a higher executive from an independent luxury resort and hotel in Sunny Isles Beach. It's sad to experience a non customer service or understand the concept of it. So my advice to any person thinking or wanting to experience Ecuadorian food don't waist your money here, location doesn't mean good food and customer experience. I will never return to any of their locations in Ecuador or US!

Everything was super delicious and the service was super good! Just a little more lemon to the ceviche but everything is super rich in flavor!! And the overall experience was super good! And we would definitely return for our delicious Ecuadorian crabs!

My wife and I went for dinner earlier this month. Having been to Ecuador many times I am a big ceviche enthusiast. While the civiche was good it was not memorable. The cazuela and "chopsue" were O.K.

Come in and I felt the smell of MY equator of the soul, not to mention the taste of onion , seafood rice natural juices and finally a shots of cocktail saltamonte remind me of my adolescence

Very disappointing. We had a shrimp rice and a marinero rice ; as often in the US too much quantity and not enough quality ! The rice was too cooked, almost mushy, not at all like a paella rice as advertised by the waiter.

I am from Ecuador and after dole years here I was really craving some good Ecuadorian food, some friends recommended me this place so we went with some friends from Peru, Colombia and Argentina. They loved the food it was so good, everything tasted amazing, the customer service was top tier, Byron was an incredible host that explained every dish to my friends that weren’t familiar to the Ecuadorian flavors, so he made sure everybody experienced the best of the Ecuadorian flavors, and that made our whole night. Definitely coming back next time we visit Miami.

An excellent restaurant, very pleasant attention from the server Ernesto and Homero. The jipijapa ceviche with a delicious peanut sauce and accompanied by a good Club Ecuatorina beer is 100% recommended!!! .

We came to Pata Gorda on miracle mile to have dinner for my dad's birthday. The service was incredible, all the waiters were very friendly, especially the one Carlos José who served us. Exceptional experience! The restaurant offers excellent food, unique recipes, and good service. Byron, my server, was kind and attentive. The restaurant has fantastic potential; with some targeted improvements, like more intensive training (the hostess should smile more, and the new server should avoid chewing gum while working), a never-give-up attitude from the owners and leaders, and consistency in food, service, and cleanliness, it could quickly become a staple of the area. Considering that approximately 80% of restaurants fail within the first three years in most US metropolitan areas, I hope this one thrives so I can return to enjoy the rest of the menu with family and friends.
