I've been here several times. They have a delicious mahi mahi taco and great seafood choices. They have chicken and beef available also and make a great beef tostado. The food is always made to order and comes out fresh and tasty. The staff is friendly and it's always easy to get a table. So many chain restaurants make bland food and this place is completely different

Interior of this repurposed Sonic feels like you are in a seafood restaurant in Mexico. Much of staff does not speak English. Micheladas are HUGE!!! Several bottles of sauce on table to adjust spice level to your preference. Queso Fundido served with no flambeau at table. They should add this to enhance the experience. A knife would have eased portioning of this dish. At least 4 servings but only 3 flour tortillas. Easy fix. Ceviche de Camaron serving is HUGE. And fresh. And delicious. Filete Al Mojo is delicious. Creamy garlic sauce goes well with the rice. Squash was a bit soggy but well seasoned. Plastic utensils degrade the experience. Suggest they invest in some flatware.

We were passing through the area and decided to grab a drink and some food. I had an amazing michelada, fresh oysters and tuna chicharrones. The service was great, food was excellent! Definitely would come back if we lived in San Antonio!

Very good friend Sinaloa style. Prices are descent. Highly recommend it. You won't be disappointed!!

If you enjoy Mexican style seafood then you may enjoy this restaurant. They specialize in Shrimp and grilled Red Snapper. The prices are decent. Give then a try.

My wife and I have visited this restaurant some 10+ times. It is close to our home and has the best prepared fish plates around- bar none! We have had the fried fish plate that comes with some very well-prepared french fried potatoes. We have had ceviche plates from shrimp, fish and all around special fish plates. Of course they also prepare regular Mexican taco and enchilada plates but its focus is on seafood. They have all been excellently prepared and presented. The desserts are also all homemade and delightful. The establishment's style is that of the port of Mazatlán on the Mexican Pacific coast and thus, its name. You will find warm and smiling servers and fast preparation. However, all plates are fresh made and thus it may take a few minutes. You will be delighted as we have been.

I had Tostadas with shrimp and another with fish. Both were excellent in taste and substance. Price was cheaper than I expected to pay. Great customer service. I recommend this place for anyone looking for fresh seafood.

Wonderful camerones al mojo de ajo. Shrimp in a cream sauce with just enough garlic along with steamed vegetables and very good rice. This is your basic hole in the wall with fabulous food. Tempura shrimp taco and snapper taco also are excellent.

In a little strip mall is this nondescript restaurant. It was hard to believe upon entry that the place had been recommended. No tablecloths, bare concrete floors, it appeared a little industrial and either on the way up or on the way down, no way to be sure. We studied the menu diligently. The items were well described and there were some pictures to see what the items had looked like for the pictures. The wait person was nice and well informed. We ordered and crossed our fingers. Lo and behold, the food was marvelous; in fact, a completely pleasant surprise. We had just returned from the Riviera of Nayarit and enjoyed great seafood, but this was prepared even better. We highly recommend the food at this establishment.

This restaurant opened in April/May 2015 timeframe. Having jsut experienced some major health problems I was seeking a seafood restaurant that would have some quality fish soup. This is absolutely the place for fish soup. The crew seems to come from the Pacific side of Mexico and the dishes reflect this. We have eaten from their extensive menu everything from fish diced and shrimp cooked by lime juice (ceviche). This has been excellent and well worth the wait. We have had molcajete plates that bring a variety of seafood with chips as well as whole tilapia and seafood plates. The fish and chips will give you som much that you will not ask for anything more. The desserts are made by one of the waitresses and her flan and coconut cheesecake are some of our favorites. I recommend La Perla very highly. It is located on Culebra Road about 1 mile outside of Loop 410. You will love it!

La Perla is going to become one of the places we have to take family visitors to. The quality of the dishes are way beyond the amount you spend to get them. We ordered a ton. The waitress and I had a few laughs as she kept bringing more and more plates. Tan mucho, for sure, but we just had to try so many. We ordered most of the flavors of tacos: fried shrimp, mahi, and grilled mahi, as well as arrechera de carne - my favorite, both the chicharron plates: atun y pulpo, the Pacifico, and more. While we were waiting the waitress brought us each out a small mug of fish soup with a wedge of lime. It was perfect. The light fish flavor, the tomato, the lime. Next time I'm ordering the caldo de camarones. We even splurged on a flan de coco and a cheese cake. It was all truly wonderful. We can't wait to get back and sample the rest of the menu.

I highly recommend this restaurant! It has some of the best seafood tacos I've ever had! The ceviche is delicious too! We'll be back on our next trip to San Antonio.

I've been there a few times and I haven't been dissapointed yet. The food is amazing. The prices are descent. Service is good as well. This is mostly sea food but they do have chicken or beef dishes for. They also have a great special lunch menu, monday-friday 11:30-3:30. Must try it, you won't be disappointed!

The LOML (Love Of My Life) has been waiting for this place to open for a while. Once it finally did we, of course, HAD to go to this new seafood restaurant. We tried, as an appetizer, the albondigas camarones or shrimp balls. OMG! We got five inch and a half sized balls of chopped shrimp that were covered in a slightly spicy sauce. The garlic bread that came with it was excellent for soaking up the sauce, we in fact ordered some extra bread as they were so tasty. The LOML had a couple of quesadilla type of dishes. The Gobernador, and the Salmon pastor quesadilla. Both were good and tasty, with a nice mix of meat and cheese. I had the Marina Burger which was fantastic. Again it was minced shrimp, with cheese stuffed into the middle. It came with fries which were also tasty and crisp. Overall this was a great entree. So overall, since it was new, I will overlook the slight lapses in service. A bit of a wait for the check, and not much interaction during the meal. The food, was fantastic, and the prices are very reasonable. We will be back for sure!

Repurposed Sonic delivers excellent seafood platters at very reasonable prices. Fair warning - the green salsa in not for wimps.
Not Consistent
The food was good here at first but it's over priced and never Consistent. Let's start with the Menus they need news ones they are dirty and falling apart. Then off to the menu the only thing actually good here is the grilled fish taco nothing else over sauced food with bland Sides. The coconut shrimp is sometimes over cooked or under cooked never the same. I am confused over these reviews the food at the pearla is not Consistent and we will never return this place is over priced.
