Conveniently located in the new Hyatt Regency hotel, easy parking. Dishes were very well presented and tasty. I would say it's more than just dinner, but a dining experience!

We had a disappointing diner at La Societe. The food was mediocre and it was very expensive. The decor was OK but the energy was low. It is in the Hyatt Regency on 3rd Street. The server was charming and professional.

A really wonderful experience. Dinner and wine choices, and service throughout were exceptional. Will come back.

This great new restaurant with French bistro vibes is located it the recently opened Hyatt Regency SF Downtown SOMA. You are lucky if yo are staying at the hotel, and even if you are not this is a must visit when visiting the city. The food is authentically French and the service is first class. Get the SMOKED SALMON RILLETTES, HEARTH BAKED TARTE FLAMBÉE, Mussels and frites and PETRALE SOLE ALMONDINE.

First we went to SFMOMA and then to La Societe as soon as it opened for dinner at 5 pm. The Baguette was great and set the stage. I loved the thin green bean salad and the mussels were outstanding. My husband enjoyed the classic spiced egg appetizer and Steak Frites. He declared the Creme Brûlée to be the best he has ordered outside of Paris. The dining space is attractive and the staff were friendly and attentive. My gin martini was slightly disappointing but maybe because I chose the wrong gin (one from Sonoma). We love French food and we will be back.

I have been a regular at La Societe for over a year now and it never disappoints. The chef's expertise is evident in every dish! Their steak tartare is a standout, easily the best I've tasted since my experience at Robuchon. As for the burger, it's the best in San Francisco, in my opinion. What really impresses me every time is the quality of the ingredients they use – it's top-notch. I'm always excited to see what they'll come up with next, and their consistency in delivering exceptional food keeps me coming back. Everything on the menu is worth trying, and the overall experience is just fantastic. I also love Sherman and Danny :) they make the best drinks :))))))

I recently came here to treat my friends to dinner. We arrived a little early and sat at the bar where we were served a a great bartender named Sherman. He was very nice to us and he recommended a drink that my friends enjoyed. The food at the restaurant was also great. I had the steak frites.

This restaurant was in the hotel where we stayed. The Hyatt Downtown SOMA. We decided to also order food at the cozy bar. I had the Duck l'orange and my friend the Porkribs. Both had a very tasty meal. The atmosphere at the bar also did it for us. For dessert I got a creme brulee and it was also DELICIOUS!

Amazing food & service — such great value — Chef used to work at 3* Michelin Robuchon We’ve been here before a few times and ordered a la carte, but they had a new set menu for dinner now and it was great value Probably the best French onion soup and steak tartare (comes with crispy baby fries) in the city! We had the fish and pork, both were perfectly tender with a savoury sauce and balance of crispy textures Desert included as well with basque cheese cake and deconstructed chocolate black forrest with chocolate crumble, cream and berry tartness One word: Amazing!
Viva la France!
Just had the best dinner at La Societe in San Francisco, All staff were amazing and attentive! The meal was amazing and the choices in the menu were fantastic, We shared a mousse liver pate and baguette to start. Never had the baby grapes before but they were sensational and mixed with almond and pate were delicious. We all had steak frittes with salad and so beautifully cooked, reasonably priced and delivered with finesse! Thankyou. Our last night in Sfo and it was a meal to remember, we were mindful not to over do it as we are on the long haul flight tomorrow!
