This restaurant is a great stop before or after a walk on the trail next to it. Itnis suitable for drinks lunch or dinner. The food menu is limited but good quality. Choped salad was lovely, fries very good, shrimp okay but too pricey. The pinic tray was lovely, fried chicken okay. Excellent selection of beer. Service was efficient. Worth a try on your way to ot back of a nice walk or bicycle ride.

I had never even heard of this place until some friends wanted to meet for brunch one Sunday. This place is very eclectic and good. It sits right on the Beltline with an outstide patio area that you can have dogs. I was very impressed with everything. I had the chicken salad sandwich, which was great. A friend had the triple stack PB&J sandwich, which was so neat and good. All of our food was excellent and filling. The service was great and prices very reasonable. It is very casual and good for everyone. I see this as an excellent stop while running, walking or biking along the beltline any time of the day.

A group of friends and I were walking the Beltline last Sunday to enjoy the nice weather and we stopped in to the Ladybird to grab a drink. The fenced in back area is perfect for lounging and having a drink. There is a good mix of sun/shade and lounge chairs/tables. A near perfect location to relax and have a drink with friends. I would defiantly go back again!

This campfire & lodge themed bar and restaurant is a popping place to go to in Atlanta! We went on a weekend night and had a great time sitting at the picnic tables sipping on mixed drinks. There is plenty of seating inside and on their patio. Ladybird offers an extensive menu with items like smoked salmon dip, a variety of smoked meats, chicken sandwiches, delicious mac & cheese, and more. They even offer brunch items on the weekend!

Great local vibe and fun beer selection! Here with my husband and our Golden Retriever, Lucy. She approves! Great to people watch.

I friend told us about Ladybird so we wanted to try it. I always check reviews and found that they were both good and not so good, mostly because the place is new and they're still getting the kinks worked out. We decided to try anyway because of the interesting "campfire" concept. Well, we had an awesome experience! It was a Friday night so I was a tad worried about the wait which was about an hour, but we spent time at the bar and it went quickly. The seating is family style at long wooden picnic-type tables. We ordered smelt (our friend from up north loves them and we wanted to surprise her). They were really good! We also had the butternut squash mash with roasted marshmallow topping which we all thought was amazingly delicious. Then we ordered the "Base Camp" of trout, sweetpotato gratin, and roasted broccoli salad. It was a fantastic meal and everything came out timely and our server was very attentive and friendly. I highly recommend Ladybird's.

Went here with a party of 10 for dinner. The way to go is the "Basecamp" menu. They basically bring out boards filled with meat and sides (steak, brisket, pulled pork etc.) Sides of gouda mac and cheese and smoked fingerlings. Family style....totally fun. Drinks were good, but a little small. (My friend had a microscopic cocktail, which for us, just won't do). A few mis-steps on the service side and a mix up where they served us unsweetened creme fraiche on our desserts rather than whipped cream was a little disappointing. Our waiter struggled to recover, but the manager came over and totally made it right. He was charming and apologetic and all was forgiven. If you like Meat and a fun atmosphere (hello Schlitz on the beer menu?) give it a whirl. Great fun.

I always love a good brunch spot. Their Bloody Mary is delicious, with just the right amount of spice. It comes in a souvenir glass if you want to pay a few dollars extra. My friends had the breakfast tacos and the avocado toast and loved both. I had the smoked salmon bagel which was delicious. We shared a roasted grapefruit. If I had room to eat more, I would've... it was that tasty! Service was good. This place gets busy, so we waited at the bar for about 10 minutes before we could be seated. I'm sure there are days where the wait is longer... so plan ahead if you go.

Wife and daughter and I stopped by for brunch. So many creative choices on their menu that we ordered several things to share. Everything was good. Community seating at picnic tables adds to the vibe.

This is a great restaurant on the Beltline. The food was so good and the decor/ambience is very cool. They have a great outside space as well. We had a kale salad I'll be back for next time I'm in town! Everyone was friendly and helpful.

Just what Atlanta needed on the Belt Line. Great place for casual dining. It has dinning outside with a trail bar.

This place is perfect to hang out for the afternoon. It is right on the BeltLine, so you can stop in and get a drink while you're out. I love the outdoor area and large tables to accommodate all the friends and puppies.

we dined here a few weeks back and this place is phenomenal. From the atmosphere, to the staff and the food. I sat at the bar and was greeted by Keisha the bartender who was very polite and cheerful. I ordered a vodka cranberry while i looked over the menu. everything sounded delicious and keisha offered me some suggestions. she was extremely knowledgeable of the menu and we decided on the short ribs. while i waited i looked around and the ambience is amazing plus you are right next to the Beltline. When our food came out, everyone who could see this tremendous board coming my way with potatoes, broccoli and short ribs that would be from that of a dinosaur (I'm not kidding they are THAT big) was staring in amazement at the portion size. after my initial shock wore off i dived into the short rib and they were tender and delicious. hats off to the chef. the potatoes and broccoli was a great pairing. The both of us could not finish the entire meal and took the rest to go. if you are looking for great smoked food, that have huge portions, with great bartenders and service with great atmosphere, go to ladybird and tell keisha i sent you. you will not be disappointed. i might also be at the bar because i'll be back as well.

This was my first time at Ladybird. I had seen it from outside while walking on the Beltline Trail and it was always packed with people who seemed to be having a good time under the umbrellas. So when friends asked us to go to dinner, I suggested Ladybird. I'm going to start off by saying I can't wait to go back! Our server, Remy, was great. The food was great. The drinks were great. The dessert was great. Ladybird is an interesting place. It's like a very hip campground with campground inspired food. They have lots of outdoor seating with tents and umbrellas and interior seating at long tables and the bar. I don't believe they take reservations and given what I have seen you may have to wait. But it will be worth it. We started off with the Picnic Basket: a charcuterie including mustard and cheeses, served on a board and not a basket. Delicious. I ordered their Old Fashioned cocktail and had two! I ordered the Fried Chicken and Melon dinner. This may be the best fried chicken I've had in Atlanta. Super crispy, seasoned just right, and juicy. I got 4 large pieces. The cubes of melon also had some sort of preparation that made them delicious too. For the table we ordered French fries and Brussels Sprouts to share. Again, out of this world. The Brussels Sprouts were roasted with pork belly and were outstanding. My husband said he would return just for the fries! Dessert we shared: grilled pieces of pound cake with rich strawberries and freshly whipped cream that was just perfectly sweet. Parking on the weekend is $5 valet only. Or you can try to find street parking. This area of Atlanta is booming and fast becoming a haven for great dining. Ladybird Grove and Mess Hall is a unique and delicious place. Go as soon as you can.

We found this BeltLine restaurant one day after searching for a new Brunch spot. Best fish and grits in ATL. Awesome servers! Food is consistently delicious and we’ve been 3 times. Great outdoor sitting if that’s your vibe.

Super sexy place to meet and eat! The service was great and prompt. The ingredients were superior! There was a smoker going out back. It's on the Atlanta Beltline. Pretty groovy. I'll be back for sure.

I am honestly shocked that Ladybird only has an average 4.0 rating. This is one of my absolute favorite places in Atlanta. The food is always amazing, and the service is consistently good. Pictured here is the charcuterie board, which is wonderful, and a seasonal drink special. I couldn't recommend Ladybird highly enough. Want to see even more delicious food? Follow @datethisplate on Instagram for more reviews and plates you will want to date!

Love love the are along the belt line. The food was good. The atmosphere was even better. All sorts of great shops along the way and just a short walk you are at Krog Market. We will be back.

Thirsty & hungry after walking the wonderful Beltline trail......this place is always busy.....waited at the bar......things move fast.....bartender very attentive and helpful. Cocktails were generous.....food is brunch always. They have Prosecco (me & my sister's fav!) on tap!!!!! It is delish! The place is just great! Did not eat....but the food coming out of the kitchen looked soooo good. Will return!

This was the second restaurant where I brought friends from Boston to try authentic southern. And this was the second disappointment. The ribs were tough, the pimento was over salted, the Mac & cheese was bland and the chicken sandwich was over sauced. Not to mention we had to clean our own table, it was not sanitized. When we asked for extra plates they complained. We have a 20% tip to serve ourselves and get backlash we asked for basics to eat. Never again! I’ll stick to Hals & New Your Prime.

The neighborhood, Old 4th Ward, is one of my favorite parts of town to hangout in when I'm in Atlanta. This spot is right on the BeltLine with indoor and outdoor seating and dog friendly. The drinks are excellent and food is pretty darn good too. Once you're in the area, plan on grabbing one of the many nearby rental bikes or scooters and explore the the rest of this rapidly growing area. We always pay a visit when we're in town. Great vibe!

Located on the beltline, Ladybird has everything going for it: location, atmosphere, beautiful people, design. Yet, the service and food prevents this from being a truly outstanding spot. Specifically, service fails to recognize the importance of treating consumer well and leaving customers with a good impression (e.g. had a hosts try to sit me and a date by the restroom in some cheap tables for brunch). And the food is subpar - while the menu is well designed, the selection feels limited an generic.

The atmosphere is fantastic, the outdoor seating area is excellent, and the staff are friendly and helpful. They even serve Glendalough Whiskey which is made close to where I live in Ireland!

This is a real clever use of some old industrial space along the BeltLine. There is a large bar area with a good list of beers from Schlitz cans to micros. The restaurant is made up of large bench-like tables, and a patio. As for the food, the brunch menu is a mixed bag. The charcuterie is shamelessly overpriced, IMO. $5 for a few shavings of salami? Please. The 3 deviled eggs for $4 turns out to actually be one-and-a-half eggs. The cheese is also sparing for the price. The rest of the menu is a better option. The chicken biscuits were immense and the fluffernutters drew raves. Additional notes --- It is industrial space but they do need to improve the restrooms - the men's and (from what I was told) the ladies are pretty grim for a "new" renovation. Also - I don't know how neighborhood friendly the place can be with pouring hours until 2 a-m.

This place was amazing - food, drinks, atmosphere, staff. If I lived in Atlanta I would be there every week!

Really like the bar & atmosphere & the food was good...just not great. This is a great place to come with a group of friends though!

A family member assured us we would enjoy brunch at Ladybird, and we were not disappointed. The dishes are creative spins on various themes, with many of the egg dishes having a Southwest flavor. tortilla chips, cheese, some spice. The Nashville Hot Spicy Chicken Biscuit was nicely spicy, moderated by honey, and riding a beautifully baked biscuit. The chicken biscuit begged for a side dish other than pickles -- some cole slaw would have helped. But the taste was great. Some in our group got hamburgers and raved about the taste. We were pleased.

So we wanted to eat on the Beltline, then walk. Weather was tough, but Ladybird was amazing. We arrived early since they don't take reservations. The staff let everyone in before it opened due to serious rain and generosity on their part. The brunch menu had something for everyone and it was abundant. Drinks were delish. The staff were friendly and having a great day with patrons. We will definitely do this again! Thanks Ladybird for taking such good care of us today, made it special!

On last Saturday January 28, 2023. My aunt, uncle, and a few other family members decided to enjoy a night out after a long work week. They chose to try Lady Bird Grove and Mess Hall located in Atlanta, Ga. Upon parking their cars they were approached by a unknown Caucasian male. He was irate and belligerently beating on one of their car windows. At that time my uncle was standing outside of the car asking him calmly was everything okay. He preceded to punch my elderly uncle in the head, which causes him to lose his balance and tumbled to the ground. His other male friend and one female friend assisted him to stomp, kick, and punch my uncle calling him “nigga” and other racist terms as he lay defenseless after each horrific blow. My aunt which is also his wife attempted to protect him and pull him up, and she was hit in the process as well. The security came and was no help at all allowing two of the aggressors to run away from the scene of the crime. The police upon arrival had delayed response in fully assisting my family as well. After only wanting to go enjoy a fun night with family, turned into a vicious beating and hate crime against my uncle and his wife. He was hospitalized and underwent multiple surgeries, due to the inadequate security at this place of business. DON’T EAT HERE IT’S NOT SAFE !!!!!!

I have passed this spot many times walking along the beltline. I finally had a chance to stop in and enjoy lunch at a nicely shaded outdoor table. Loved the fried chicken sandwich. The chicken has a nice, crunchy coating, the bun was fresh and the white bbq sauce and pimento cheese gave the sandwich the perfect punch.

I ate here with a colleague while at a trade show - we were looking to find something a bit more local than the standard mid-town chain restaurants. The place has a very relaxed buzz, an interesting and varied beer list and lots of convivial locals. The staff were excellent, the food was OK and some of the beers were "challenging" but it wins massively on a great relaxed local vibe.

Sun was shining, music playing, needed a refreshing spot for a drink and a snack on our beltline Easter stroll. Perfect, perfect spot. Unique and tasty drinks, awesome food options. Everything from a fancy moonpie, the biggest chicken bisquit, cheese selection with applebutter and crustinies. But the best...Caleb Warren and the Southern Gentlemen. Sounded like Squirrel Nut Zippers. Will find them again and drop back by the deck, next to the beltline@ladybirds

We wanted a change from our regular haunts and wanted to have dinner somewhere different and unusual. We picked Ladybird’s, and it was a perfect choice. The location is unique, right on the beltline (across from KR Steak). The building includes both traditional indoor seating and porch seating, which is enclosed well enough in the winter to be sufficiently warm on all but the coldest days. The setting, overall, is really neat. My wife had the chicken and dumplings. I am not a chicken and dumpling person, but she thought that they were particularly great, alone worth the drive from the other side of town. I had the Grilled NY Strip. The cut of meat was not all that good, but it was well-prepared and a good meal. Another in our group had the shellfish roast, which he thought was super. We started with a couple of cheese and meat appetizers, and also had a couple of sides (I remember the mushrooms being pretty good as well). They have some specialty cocktails, but I did just fine with the beer list. We would have ordered one of the “base camp” meals – probably the trout – but one of our guests was not that venturesome. We will pick our guests better next time. This is not fine dining, but a step or step and a half below that. But the menu is extraordinarily creative and different, and the execution is rock solid. All in for five people, including a generous tip, our bill was $210. The drinks were a good chunk of that. If you like trying something other than the ordinary, this is the place for you.

We had seen this place on the show Food Porn and decided to give it a try. The beers were ok and our food was good, we had the spatchcock chicken. The setting was the coolest part to us. There kitchen is closed between lunch and dinner service which they don't tell you so we enjoyed some drinks until they kitchen began cooking.

Had lunch at Ladybird Grove and Mess Hall today and glad we did. Loves the chicken salad sandwich and wonderful potato salad. Great patio and wonderful service. It is right on the Beltline.

Hidden Gem right on the beltline which makes it a perfect spot for people watching at this ultra cool drinking and eating spot. Unique concept and great service plus the food as spot on.

The location (on the Beltline) and the atmosphere of Ladybird is outstanding. There's a huge deck overlooking the Beltine, as well as a huge screen porch with big tables. The decor, including the dark, giant mural on the back wall with owls and bears is 100% spot on. We came and hung out on the porch during the lantern parade (before it was officially open) and fell in love. Tonight we came back to actually check out the restaurant and were kinda disappointed. The main disappointment was the bar staff. Zero personality, not super helpful or engaged, made no effort to get to know us/ask our names, had to flag them down every time... just lame and not friendly. The reason I typically love sitting a the bar is because of the bartenders and the service - and that was definitely NOT on tonight. It was also really weird that they had a great selection unique liquor, but the drink menu was really limited? I'm talking like 5-6 cocktails and nothing too original. Limited wine selection too. We ordered three appetizers that were all good, but nothing to write home about. Navajo bread (I actually liked a lot, husband not so much), rice balls that were good if you channeled Thanksgiving, and crab imperial that was really very nice quality, but just a bit bland. A bit of salt or hot sauce may have helped? We decided not to stay for dinner. They just opened a few weeks ago (I'm the first reviewer), so I'll be back again. I'm pretty sure they'll sort it out. If not, the location still can't be beat.

The food at Ladybird is delicious and the portion was generous ~ we ordered the meal for two and it fed three of us. The location on Atlanta's beltline is perfect and allows for a great walk on a nice day.

Cool looking place but food and service is not good. Food is beyond weird! Pimento Cheese Fritters were just fried rice balls without any taste. Just super bland food. Water was the best-tasting thing at this place.

Hipster feel, with lots of space to spread out. I wish I had tried an old fashion as I watched the bartenders make a dozen of them, so they must be good. Fun crowd, good staff, good drinks. What more can you ask for on a Friday Night!?

Happy Anniversary, ladybird. You have to be the most obnoxious business in the O4W and Inman Park area. So disrespectful to your neighbors who frequent your bar and resto. Every dog in the neighborhood was barking. Saturday, fine. Sunday night at 8 pm? Inappropriate. Disappointing.

I really liked the drinks and bar scene at Ladybird. It's right on the Atlanta Beltline. My group had a variety of good cocktails. However, one poor sap ordered their cheapest beer, which turned out to be Schlitz. They sell Schlitz?

We were on the belt line for a bike ride and I saw that terrace crowded with a yellow roof. Ambiance was good so we stopped by, ordered drinks at the main counter and enjoyed our sunny afternoon. I tried one house-made cocktail with grapefruit, it was good, we didn’t try the food. Prices are fair, it’s layback and plenty of space outdoors. I would definitely go back!

Although the family size BBQ was good, it would only feed 1 to 2 people and not the 4 people it said it would for $45. So, basically it ended up being really expensive which is overall a disappointed.

My impression of Ladybird has always been that it was a great, fun place to enjoy a beer outside with friends, with the food being more of bar food. But, we ended up on the beltline with out of town family at dinner time, so stopped in for a quick dinner. The food ended up being terrific. The shrimp & grits were very good, with a perfect spicy kick. The sides (mac & cheese, collard greens, brussel sproutsl) were delicious, particularly the greens. Three in our party shared the barbecue mix and loved it, saying it was better than western bbq (they're from Denver). So, don't think of ladybird as just a great place for a drink...have a meal there sometime too!

If you want a relaxing setting and fun place to eat , you must try having brunch at Ladybird. The food is good the service and very good must ask for Natalie. It's a place to bring your pooch and family and enjoy the day!!

I'm the first to admit that this review is heavily influenced by the gorgeous weather and the novelty of brunching al fresco at the end of November. The sun was shining and everyone was on a party mood. We had called ahead and were greeted and seated promptly. The brunch menu is foodie more than classic, all built around a camp theme. We both enjoyed our meals. The portions are generous and the muffins would please a lumberjack. Order with care, we ended up taking a bit of everything home. The sides are a great value. Top this off with wonderful coffee.

What a great place! Fun, summer camp style seating on a screened in porch provided the perfect setting for eating our spatchcock chicken. The service could not have better and the food was delicious. The Tropicalia IPA hit the spot. Enjoyed our dinner so much we returned two days later as we hit the midway point of a five mile walk on the Beltline. Could not have been a better resting place. The outside patio was packed with people and dogs. The atmosphere was friendly and the Tropicalia hit the spot once again. Unique places like the Ladybird Grove are always fun to find when traveling. Very enjoyable!

Excellent food and servers. Private activity was very good , no problems and excellent service.!location is good

Unexplained waits when tables are empty. Unconcerned staff. So so food. There are too many other places nearby to deal with this. NEXT.

Visited here after walking to Krog Street Market with my famliy. Food was delicious. We had the woodsmens breakfast, biscuit with sausage gravy, and my double stack burger was delicious. Great atmosphere they have a large sitting area by the beltline outside the restaurant where they serve drinks.

We tried this restaurant nestled in a fun area of Atlanta close to walking trails. The rain kept us inside but the outside dining and drinking area looked like it would be such a great way to spend a summer evening with friends. We were there for lunch and it wasn’t at all crowded. Three of our party had the fried green tomato BLT and it was SO good. We did ask for it with mayo on the side but it came on the sandwich anyway. Luckily it wasn’t on too thick. My husband and I split the sandwich and order of fries and it was plenty. The sandwich was on thick toasted bread and was very filling. We love crispy fries and they were perfect. The other person who ordered the sandwich got it with chips and said they were good as well. The last person In our party got the chopped salad and she said it was delicious. She especially liked the grilled corn and lemon champagne dressing. It looked a little lack luster but I think it was because she didn’t get any meat on it. The menu is not very big but seemed to have enough variety that everyone could find something they liked. I was only disappointed by two things - no ice tea - they ran out and didn’t even have any tea bags....? And I didn’t have room to try the s’mores dessert that sounded so good

Love the location on the Beltline. Fantastic appetizers, pimento cheese fritters, beet and avocado salad excellent. Main entree Rainbow Trout. Best I have ever eaten. Prompt and courteous service. Loved it!

By luck we ended up at Ladybird during Irma evaluation. What a cool place for gathering with friends and having a few drinks. Great outdoor seating, fun family, pedestrian, dog friendly, kid friendly atmosphere. We had a few drinks and moved on to other fun looking locations in the district. The food looked amazing although we did not order any.

Split the barbecue platter amongst friends and greatly enjoyed it! The ribs were spectacular. The pulled pork delicious. We had the mushroom skillet as a side - absolutely divine! The cocktails were just ok but definitely enjoyed the food. Just make sure to ask for more rolls. The barbecue doesn't come with very many but they will give you more if you ask. Looks like a great patio too although it was too cold for us to enjoy it when we were there.

The customer service left much to be desired. The waitress just walked around the restaurant and had to be called on for assistance. She was very short and almost unresponsive. I loved the spice in the shrimp and grits but there weren’t enough grits for the amount of sauce on the plate. The biscuits were extremely dry. When we complained about them, I saw the waitress tell the manager and she didn’t even bother to come to our table. Very disappointing to say the least.

When we arrived it smelled great but I was disappointed in the food. It was also very loud. We were inside and there is a bar and it has high ceilings so noise carries. I might have been happier outside but it was very busy there too. Not a good place to carry on conversations. It is cute outside with a camp like feeling and even a cute camper. The brisket was tough as shoe leather without flavor...you need to cook it a lot longer and add some flavor. The stew was my favorite and the chicken was good. We ordered the camp meals being a large group and that was the most affordable thing to do. Don't order the sides..at 5 dollars you are only getting a single serving. The beer is overpriced compared to other places to drink 7 dollars for a solo cup. The service was good.

The physical place is great. Not excellent for vegetarians or meatless fare, unfortunately. The outdoor seating is fun and the drinks are tasty, if not cheap. Awesome location. I'd spend more time here if there was more for me to eat!

Earlier reviews complained about bad service and long wait times for food. Not so on April 17. Emma was terrific and our food arrived quickly. Chalk it up to this being a new place, which is at mile 9.25 on the Beltline. We had the PICNIC BASKET meat and cheese appetizers and you must get the delicious lamb bacon, which is cured on site. The DOUBLE-STACK BURGER was yummy but the bun was too small and the sandwich slid apart. The GRILLED BOUDIN BLANC was very tasty, the kale was creamy and it all arrived in a cast iron skillet. The CHICKEN AND DUMPLINGS also came in a skillet and was creamy goodness. We split one portion of the scrumptious STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE. Everything was reasonably priced, but we found the menu a little short on entrees and long on snacks, vittles and cheeses. Worth a visit to this great refurbished old RR warehouse. Fun with lots of young professionals!

My boyfriend and I discovered this place on accident and I'm glad we did! It's right on the Beltline, big outdoor space and a great assortment of drinks. We didn't eat, but we hung out and had a few beers (along with a few hundred other people). Overall, a great place to go hang out on a sunny afternoon.

Had lunch here on Saturday. The atmosphere is great. A lot of people and dogs. Good local beer selection and the “redneck mimosas” were fun. Food was great. Most of us had the double cheeseburger, no one was disappointed. Highly recommend visiting here if you get the chance.

This is located near the belt line. It has a rustic feel especially with outdoor tables and the main inside area being quite open to the outside. They brunch is certainly worth the visit. The double cheeseburger is terrific. Other great menu choices. Some good draft beers and good Bloody Mary.

What a great concept and an original one at that. It's perfectly situated along the Beltline where you can sit in lawn chairs, sip drinks, play bocci ball while waiting for your table. The food was surprisingly good. I say surprisingly because too often these new restaurants are all about the ambiance and not the food. Short ribs were an enormous portion for 2 and I don't know how they make the potatoes but they were the best tasting potatoes I ever had. Go with a group and have fun. The only thing to keep in mind is that if you're looking for a quiet and romantic venue this is not it.

Great place for lunch, especially if riding the beltline trail. you order at central location, and they bring the food to your table. lots of picnic tables outside right on the bike trail. also a fairly large indoor area. the food and drinks were excellent, and prices very reasonable.

Nothing great about this place. Decided to try it out, their beer selection was ok, lots of unknown beers with Lemongrass as an ingredient, crowded but nothing special.

During a work trip, I came here for happy hour drinks. Although no happy hour specials, the vibe and patio were awesome. Being from the mid-west where we experience Winter, I loved being right up against the beltline and loved the fact that they are pet friendly even more. The vibe outside is super chill (at least when I was there), and their chairs were super loungey; a great place to sit back, relax and enjoy the weather, drinks and pups. I had a few drinks - got the dirty money which was very light and delicious. I didn't have any food, but would definitely recommend for drinks on their outdoor patio.

I was in Atlanta for five days and we came to Ladybird twice! The first time was only for drinks, but when I saw their brunch menu, I knew we had to come back. Their oyster po'boy was HUGE and delicious. Their drinks are fairly priced. They have an awesome patio that I'd love to sit on when it's not 90+ degrees outside. And their bartenders are so nice!

We stopped here for some takeout drinks and it was super quick and easy. Ordered online and then called when we arrived and someone brought it right out! Very Covid friendly and they were delicious too. Would come again!

Plan to walk the Eastside Beltline so you don't have to fight for a parking place. We were there on a Saturday around 1:00, so they had their brunch menu. My husband ordered the Woodsman Breakfast which had brisket and a spicy potato hash along with a biscuit and eggs. The flavors were amazing and had the perfect blend of heat without being too spicy. I had the double-decker cheese burger with fries, which was good as well. Although we sat inside (there was a wait for outside), we had fun people watching from the windows. Lots of people outside had their dogs with them on the large patio. Great service and great food!

This is the type of place you don't want to just grab a quick drink or meal and leave. This is definitely a place to hang out, to "see and be seen". We love going there with our dog and just sitting outside and watching people. The food and drinks are good and the wait staff is always helpful. I would definitely recommend going there for brunch or afternoon drinks and walking the Beltline afterwards.

Ladybird is a great place to have a great Brunch and then walk the beltline. My friends and I went there for Brunch Sunday morning, the wait was a little long but that is expected for any beltline restaurant. We got a variation of food, such as the french toast, the eggs benedict, and the avocado toast. All were excellent and the staff was super friendly. Afterwards, it was awesome to enjoy the walk along the beltline. If you are in Atlanta I recommend Ladybird.

Went with friends to this cool restaurant and bar. The food and drinks were great. We tried the pimento cheese fritters and a seasonal flatbread appetizer. Both were delicious. A few of us tried the fish tacos which were tasty and one couple had the seasonal beef ribs which were huge and very flavorful. Off the deck was a gravel area set against the Beltline where they allowed dogs. It was a nice setup for drinks and visiting and dog watching. Definitely want to go back.

This is a great spot with a cleaver theme--camping--so if weather permits, enjoy your meal or beverage outside. Valet parking is $5 which is reasonable in Atlanta but feel free to step off of the Beltline for a good bite (or park your bike or scooter). You can bring your pooch for a cool sip too! Great burgers!

We bikes here with our eldest son hoping to catch the Falcons game on TV. The staff could not change the channels on the TV (although they tried) but we won’t ding them for that because the food was great and so was the service. We parked our bikes at the handy racks near the beltline and mosied in. The bar is the only part of the business with TVs, so we sat there. Son and I had the hot chicken biscuits, which were huge and drizzled with just a touch of honey. Husband had the pork griddle cakes. Inventive food but not too cute. The beer selection was fine and so was the “Bee’s Knees” mixed drink. Bartender asked us for a card to hold our tab, not familiar with that but OK. Would definitely come again.

I came into town with some friends from college to meet some of our other friends. We decided to go to Ladybird Grove and Mess Hall because it looked like a fun place! The atmosphere was fun! However, the food was very overpriced for the amount you got. My friends and I split the BBQ platter. It was good, but we were still hungry after (and the plate was $50). Overall we had a good time, but we left still hungry. And the service was slow.

Came here with some younger co-workers who are still in that must be seen and say I've eaten there stage of life. I'll admit, the place is cute. Don't wear heels if you are having a beverage outside, there isn't pavement or grass, just rocks which will ruin shoes that aren't sneakers. It's on the beltline which is all the rage and over-pricing in the the metro area. So guess what, you get to watch sweaty people and their canines run by you. The weird thing about this place is that if you get a table outdoors you have to get your drink yourself. I suppose they don't want the staff endangered with the rocks -- if only they thought the same of the customers or at least had a trail that was safer for you and your shoes. I made the mistake of trying the food. It was edible, but that's it.

Great people and dog watching on belt line. Good food for a bar setting. Double burger and smoked salmon dip were excellent. Inside dining; patio dining and garden dining by trail. If sunny this place cant be beat in the fall.

I ate there with friends and the Navajo bread is excellent. The sauce on it isn't too heavy and the meat is super tender. Mac and cheese is wonderful too, a little salty but I don't know if it's always like that. The main server we had was great but the other servers who stopped by were rude and curt. One server grabbed my plate and walked away without asking if I was done with a good amount of food still on it. The others started stacking chairs and such around us so we asked what time they closed and they said 11:00 and it always only 9:15. They clearly wanted to run us off or were closing early based on how they were cleaning and acting.

The new large pebble ground area along the Beltline is great. It's large with picnic tables, ping pong, a beer truck and air-conditioned bathrooms. Brilliant! The drinks are getting better, but still not great. I can't comment on the food. The menu is looking more appetizing though compared to when they first opened. I look forward to hanging out more there this Spring/Summer.

We were here on brunch last Christmas Day. It was very nice, hot and sunny weather, so we sat outside and enjoyed a very good meal served by the kindly staff.

One of the best things about Ladybird is their location! My boyfriend and I walked down the beltline this morning and stopped in for brunch. It was one of those perfect early December days and the weather was quite mild so we sat outside. We had the spicy Bloody Mary's and I had the Nashville chicken sandwich and if a little heat is what you're looking for - then I would say this is the choice for you! If you time it right, you can grab a seat right away. If you get there mid day the "grove" is a great place to hang out and have drinks while you wait for a seat or table - you can't go wrong! I would definitely say if you're walking or biking along the beltline to stop in for a drink!

Cool location with indoor or outdoor seating options. Friendly service and really yummy brunch options. Great Bloody Mary, grits, breakfast tacos and biscuits. Yum!

Really love the vibe of this place. Super cool patio space that allows dogs plus the little camper 😍 that serves drinks. Had brunch on a Saturday & it was a beautiful day so very busy! Ordered the arugula & radicchio salad & cheese grits! Both were yummy, highly recommend the grits! Can't wait to visit again and have partake in the patio punchbowl.

Ladybird is located right on the Beltline in Atlanta. It is a very convenience place to take a break from walking or biking the trail. The back patio (or "grove") faces the Beltline and is a very welcoming site. The outdoor seating area is fairly large, and there is a small bar outside if you're looking for a quick drink. There is more seating inside as well. The theme is of a summer campground and National park. It has some fun décor inside, and much of the seating is shared tables and benches, much like a Mess Hall (as stated in the name). They have a Brunch and Dinner menu. I've only eaten off of the Brunch menu, where there were some great options. This may not be a destination restaurant for dining, but definitely worth stopping in during a Beltline day. Especially the outside section where you can enjoy the weather and watch people go past on the Beltline.

Came in with my husband and two kids (ages 10 & 13) for a bite to eat and a few cold beverages after an afternoon bike ride on the Beltline. The place was full but we did not have to wait. We knew this was not a place for kids, but were pleasantly surprised at how much we all enjoyed it. The food was delicious - especially loved the shrimp salad and avocado toast. Great beer selection...excellent service. We will recommend to friends and return as soon as possible!!

We enjoyed brunch at Ladbird Sinday afternoon, June 12. This unique spot has indoor dining, patio dining, and a bar-seating area directly overlooking the Beltline. They have an incredibly creative menu. Though they don't take reservations for brunch, they do allow call-ahead seating and we were seated about 10 minutes after we arrived. The bagel board (yes, a real NY bagel, thank you - no Thomas's or Einstein look-alikes) was great. The bagel had that chewy consistency you only get when they've been properly boiled before baking. It was served with a flavorful whipped cream cheese, smoked trout rillette, and fried capers. YUM! My husband had the Woodsman breakfast: a skillet that included the house brisket, a smoked Potato-chorizo hash, green chili rajas, a fried egg, and their amazing cats' head biscuit. A little sloppy looking but great flavors. Chef son ordered the breakfast taco (served in a skillet, Nacho-style) with chorizo-scrambled eggs, cheddar, avocado, cilantro, and flour tortilla triangles. And his lady ordered their wonderful picked shrimp salad served with heirloom tomatoes, crisp potato cubes, and a soprasetto vinaigrette. We shared bites of an order of applewood bacon (thick cut, always good) and two additional dishes. The Nashville hot chicken biscuit was a tender piece of chicken breast, breaded and fried, served on a huge cat's head biscuit with house pickles and a honey sauce. While it was tasty, we all agreed the chicken was a little on the dry side and the honey sauce could have used a punch of hot sauce. The avocado toast, on the other hand, was sheer perfection. A big slab of a rustic bread topped with roughly mashed and seasoned avocado, roasted grapefruit, calabrese peppers and a perfectly cooked six-minute egg. (We enjoyed leftovers at home later!) Though I'm not a coffee drinker, my dining companions are and they said the coffee was great. All ll in all, a great meal packed with flavor, good service, and fun doing some people-watching on the Beltline. We'll be back!

Ladybird Grove and mess hall is the place to be on the beltline. We enjoyed lovely cocktails yesterday Under the gas heaters watching the people walk by. Later we ate by the window. The food is a little eclectic. I ended up ordering the cheeseburger which was delicious. My daughter had the avocado toast. The cinnamon rolls were fantastic.

This is the place to hang out on a nice day. They have a really cool "patio" area, with an outside bar. There are lots of people and dogs and great people-watching on the BeltLine. The food is okay, but not what you go for! Note that on the weekends, they only serve brunch during the day, so the menu is a bit limited.

After waiting 45 minutes longer than we were told, we were then informed only brunch menu is available, it is now 2;30 and 3 things weren't even available. After waiting 45 more minutes for food (of course they could get drinks to us immediately) the food was terrible, chicken sandwich was so dry, the smoked salmon tray was poached salmon, when asked about it they told us there wasn't any more smoked salmon, never informing us of this when we ordered. I spoke with the manager who told us they were having kitchen problems but he would do right by us, ( party of 8) nothing was done and the service was horrendous, what a disappointment, will never return!!!!

Not a lot of interesting options for brunch if you're not a meat eater. The avocado toast was solid, I liked that it was topped with grapefruit. But it didn't blow my mind, neither did anything really. And, although the menu is definitely meat-heavy, the ravenous meat-eaters I was dining with weren't blown away either. So don't come for an incredible culinary experience. DO come for the kitsch, the dog-friendliness, and the Instagram likes for their giant Woodsman's Board.

Stopped here for Sunday brunch while riding on the Eastside beltline trail. It was very busy thus a one hour wait. Sat out back and had drinks. Many spots to sit in the shade or under umbrellas. Neat little trailer that is used as a portable bar. Brunch was nothing special. We had breakfast tacos and french toast. Both were very small portions. Inside has more of a bar feel than a restaurant. Great spot for the young adult crowd. I will visit again but just for drinks outside overlooking the beltline trail.

Ladybird is in a great location - right on the Beltline in Inman Park, Atlanta. We called ahead on a chilly, very rainy Sunday at 12:15 to make sure they were not on a wait. Found parking easily and were seated immediately. The front dining area is a little noisy due to lots of glass/windows and communal table dining. The back dining area is a little more subdued. The brunch crowd was decent. The menu is not huge, but very approachable with both individual entrees and options for sharing. The Hot Nashville Chicken Biscuit is a must. The Fried Chicken Sandwich was equally as good. The Hot Buttered Rum perfect on a rainy winter morning. Good spicy bloody Mary! The concept behind this restaurant is centered on the outdoor area adjacent to the Beltline - so when the weather is bad, it's probably a bit of a different experience and I would imagine that it would have been packed on a Sunday morning if the weather was pretty. A large group came in and our server asked us if we would mind moving to the bar -- which we were happy to do. They bought us a round of drinks for the trouble. Very nice. Staff was nice, and efficient. Very cool mural and wall treatment on one wall. Groovy spot. Would love to return!

Always a favorite on the BeltLine for a drink. They’ve got an awesome outdoor area that’s always packed. Dog friendly. To be honest, I didn’t even realize they served food!

Home of “the three day weekend” did not disappoint. Would recommend getting the Woodman breakfast if dining with a group. Massive slab of great food.

Great casual restaurant with a wide variety of food and craft beers and really nice outdoor seating area. Service, food, drink and atmosphere were all enjoyable, ready to go back again.

We didn't have a sit down dinner at Ladybird, but several appetizers and drinks last night and thoroughly enjoyed the place. Right on the beltline, plenty of off street parking, The Base Camp items served on large planks of wood were very appetizing looking. We will come back for dinner soon.

Ladybird Grove and Mess Hall is in a gentrified area that was not too far from my hotel in College Park - approximately 12 Miles. I was meeting with some friends there for a meal and was quite pleased. The area is nice with a high end dining establishment directly across the street. An appetizer of mussels was delicious. We shared the bbq board, (yes the meal was delivered on a plank), and there was plenty for the three of us to enjoy with leftovers. They also have a chicken board that looked mouth watering along with other southern delights like shrimp and grits. Great atmosphere sitting outside with the locals running, walking, cycling on the adjacent path. Not the cheapest place but I would go back. Enjoy it, we did.

With actual tents, simulated campfires, and real hyper-local beer, this theme restaurant does not disappoint. Roasted chicken, grits, a host of creative appetizers all delighted. Like much of Atlanta, the service strikes the right balance between New Orleans friendliness, but northern city expedition. Afterward, you get to hang around the "campfires" - how cool is that?

It started off so well. Three of us came in for lunch. We started with bellinis and the redneck mimosa, which was all very tasty, although we questioned why the redneck mimosa was served in a bottle and a teeny-tiny shot glass. The entrees themselves were outstanding. Collectively, we tried the pulled pork griddle cake, the oyster po'boy, and the Nashville hot chicken biscuit. We each enjoyed our entrees. They were all well-done, reasonably well executed (my chicken biscuit wasn't really a handheld item, although I'm not sure it was meant to be as such). Then it went a bit downhill from there. We tried the mac and cheese. The sauce had curdled, it tasted vaguely of raw flour, and was quite disappointing. Each of us took one bite and admitted that it was a real downgrade compared to our fantastic entrees. The service also left a bit to be desired. We had a waitress, who was training a new member of the waitstaff. They started off attentive, but seemed to ignore us after a while. They didn't really ask us if we enjoyed our food, or seemed to wonder why we had them take back a barely touched dish, even after I'd mentioned that it tasted off. It was a very low note to end what, to that point, had been an excellent experience. Both my dining companions wish to return, and if so, I'll probably join them, but we'll make sure to never order the mac and cheese again -- and maybe just play it safe when ordering, anyway.

Fun brunch venue on Beltline, great for dogs and families with little kids. Really good, delicious food. Bloody Mary was ok.

Great place to meet friends and relax, indoors or out. We shared the barbcue platter, some shrimp and grits, cauliflower and Brussels sprouts and they were all very tasty. I would the exact same thing again anytime.
It must be generational.
Look, I'm not young or hip. Not a place for me.. old factory or warehouse location on the Beltline. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Great for a beer and burger. We ordered the chicken picnic .. a medium size chicken and some veggies.. I thought it was a rip at $40. Also ordered the scallops which was fine but only a small serving.. more like an appetizer than main course.. also overpriced at $19. House white..$10 a glass? Not a fancy place.. kinda down and dirty. Nice waiter who did say the scallops entry was small. Burgers looked good.. I didn't order correctly.. but I won't be back anyway.
