Great service, great view, but overpriced.

By KingsMountaineer |

Beautiful view, wonderful service but the food was just so-so and way overpriced. The bruschetta ($18?) was two pieces of bread with unseasoned tomatoes. The linguini with clams had a watery, again under-seasoned, sauce, with some scattered cherry tomatoes. I think it’s better at the Olive Garden. The lemon cake, on the other hand, was delicious. I can’t say enough good things about the service and view but to me, it wasn’t worth the price.

Amazing Italian, Ambiance and View of the fountain

By Leanne1205 |

We had an excellent experience here. The veal scallopine and broccolini were delicious. Beautiful lighting and floor to ceiling windows overlooking the Bellagio fountains. We would love to visit again.

Bland

By Matthew B |

The food was bland and most of the items tasted very similar. The restaurant is very loud and not conducive to conversation. $300 USD for two is very poor value considering the quality of the food. Would not eat here again if the food was free.

Italian restaurant with a view

By Andrew R |

We sat by the window and had a wonderful view of the strip. The service was wonderful. The pasta was al dente with good size portions. I highly recommend the Tiramisu.

Decent food, but severely overpriced

By Breaded Goose |

My wife and I went to LAGO at the end of 2024. It’s situated on the casino floor. First of all, the restaurant is in a wonderful location with views of the Bellagio fountain. It’s not every day you get to eat lunch with a view like that! They also have outdoor seating. We chose to sit indoor but soon wondered if we should have sat outdoor to get a better view of the fountain. The service was good, with the staff being attentive and friendly. I had spaghetti bolognese and my wife had lasagna. We also shared a pepperoni pizetta. Generally we thought the food was ok but nothing outstanding. It didn’t seem like any higher a standard than a typical Italian chain restaurant. The most enjoyable part of the meal was the pizetta which was very tasty and was perfectly cooked. We shared a cherry sundae for desert which was nice. The main issue for me was the cost. I know Vegas isn’t cheap but even by its standard it seemed very overpriced. We only drank water and the bill still came to an eye-watering $134. $160+ by the time we added a tip. It simply wasn’t worth the cost but the views of the fountain were fantastic.

Fantastic restaurant

By Jessica F |

Went to Lago with my husband and two other couples, as a joint celebration for my birthday and another couples anniversary. Denise, our server, was fantastic. I had the Lago rigatoni with garlic bread, my husband had the seafood linguine, and the food was absolutely amazing, as were the cocktails and tiramisu. Definitely plan on returning the next time we’re in Las Vegas!

Simply stunning

By The Real DJ |

My wife booked this restaurant after extensive research. If I’m honest, I wasn’t looking forward to it as much as other places. How wrong was I! This turned out to be the best meal of the trip. I had a stunning risotto with large prawns. It was the best I’d ever tasted. Daughter had a lasagne and thought much the same. Son had pizza that looked fantastic and wife had a different risotto. She was equally as impressed as I was. Add in the surroundings of the beautiful Bellagio fountains and this place is a winner.

Fair brunch, nothing special

By conjuror88 |

Again got invited here, -Liked the Lago chop salad and wine vinaigrette, Caesar just average; - Steak and eggs, steak too fatty and sinewy; eggs Benedict average; ricotta pancake great with blueberry; -agnolotti, and another paste shared by all, nothing special; - only loved the lobster risotto, even though a tad undercooked; I love risotto this one could have done 2 minutes more in cooking; eggplant Milanese, truffle fries(just truffle oil) and broccoli all nice - chocolate martini quite good - shared tiramisu (average); panda cotta, and sorbet and gelato A tad overpriced for the quality of food one is getting...glad I did not have to pay the bill, would have gone somewhere else.

Great restaurant, amazing food

By OLenany |

We had absolutely nothing but excellent experience. Everything was impeccable . The service was tremendous. Everyone was super polite and friendly. The food was outstanding, fresh and rich in flavor, and the view is amazing. We were sitting at the balcony looking over the beautiful fountains. Highly recommend.

Worst experience during our stay

By florencerichaud |

We went to diner on November 8th, a party of 8, and had the worst diner during our stay in Las Vegas. Entries were poor and terrible presentation and pasta was inedible! This restaurant plays on the fact that it is situated in front of the Bellagio fountains, but we can't merely see them. If you don't want to waste your money, don't got there!!!!

The food was just OK. And the service was just OK. The location is nice but there are so many other choices that I would not recommend this one to be your first choice. I didn’t see my server for so long that I finally just got up and went to the counter to pay my bill.

The Worst

By wrldwonder |

Julian Serrano is one of my favorite chefs and I love all of his restaurants, and Lago was my favorite of those. It pains me to say that this has become one of the worst experiences ever in Las Vegas if not anywhere. They treat people incredibly poorly in a way that I would never expect from a top notch restaurant at a top hotel in Las Vegas. Life is too short, and Lago is a place I will never return to, as happily there are so many great restaurants in Las Vegas that appreciate their guests.

Amazing meal!

By Bethany Jane |

A great experience at LAGO! Me and my partner are visiting Las Vegas from England and we booked this restaurant many months ago due it’s amazing views of the Bellagio fountains and wow was it amazing! We had great service and a great seat on the Patio. The food was delicious and I would really recommend the Pizza. The restaurant was really reasonably priced with pizzas around $25 and Main dishes starting from around $35+. If you are thinking of booking this restaurant, do it! It was the best meal and experience of our 7 night trip from England.

Such a shame

By Jessica S |

Had reservations at 945. Got there at 930, wasn't sat till 950. Waiter was very impatient. Asked 2 time in 4 mins for us to order and we told him we're not ready. We were looking at the menu and taking our time deciding what we wanted. We were with my mom who doesn't know what alot of the food is so we were explaining it to her. The waiter came up at 958 And said the kitchen closes at 10 I need your order now. It just didn't make sence why they would let us have a 945 reservation if they were closing the kitchen. Anyway we ordered osso bucco, chicken Parmigiano, and salmon. With sides of spaghetti, roasted rominesco, and truffle mash. Let's start with the high point. Osso bucco was good, not the best but good and so was the saffron rice it was served over, but that was it. The chicken parm came thrown on a plate like you would see at a dennys it was dry and flavorless, and just gross. The spaghetti was something I could of made at home with a can of ragu and some wine. The salmon was horrible, skin was soooooo soggy, and there was nothing on it no seasoning at all. There was small droplets of a sauce on the plate which were tasty but not near enough to have with all of the salmon. Iv had better salmon at chain restaurants. The truffle mash was ok, it was super dry though. The roasted rominesco was the worst. No seasoning no oil no flavor. Literally dry overcooked pieces of rominesco. I was shocked that a restaurant of this caliber would serve food like this. My husband was so excited for this restaurant and it did not deliver. I had to ask for a dessert menu, after being ignored for like 15 mins. I could tell by there demeanor that they weren't thrilled. We got the chocolate mousse with praline. When it came out the waiter set it on the table turned walked away from the table so fast. I was trying to ask for dessert spoons because all our other silverware had been cleared or had dinner remnants on it. But he completely ignored me and just kept walking. I had to flag down another waiter so we could eat our dessert. They brought our bill shortly after, and again we waited and waited and waited for them to come get our cards but they never came. We ended up switching to cash and just leaving. Of course as soon as we got up amd walked away. I watched our waiter run to our table to check his tip about 10 seconds later. Which with the service wasn't much. We were ignored or rushed throughout the whole service. Which was not the experience you hope to have when you come to a restaurant that's supposed to be upscale and classy. This was not. Don't waste your time here. There are much better restaurants and food to spend this kinda money on and you will get treated better. Lago you failed miserably. Get a better wait staff, better cooks, better food. Or just people who care because it's clear that someone here has given up on quality.

Terrible attention

By Luis Humberto S |

Very bad service. They are very racist and serve very reluctantly. The chef's food is very good, but the waiters spoil the taste to taste it.

Best Pasta and excellent service

By FLC1977 |

Absolutely loved this restaurant and it’s reasonably priced for the quality of food. My sister and I were seated in the best seat beside the window overlooking the fountains of Bellagio. Tip: if you want a table with the best view, I’d suggest booking the first time slot when they open for dinner (1700 hrs) and showing up about 10 min early like we did. Good to know: Lago’s website has different reservation options and is one of the only places I know where you can guarantee patio seating for a price. Although, it looked fairly enclosed in there anyway and just a separate section that’s more private. Our regular seats were great for view purposes. The food: I ordered the lemon tagliolini and it was the best pasta I’ve ever tasted. Staying true to Italian cuisine, they kept it simple - freshly made pasta, butter, parmesan, lemon zest and some herbs. It was absolutely delicious simplicity. The garlic toast was tasty and light, unlike some dense breads. They also added what looked like a small amount of chili flakes for some spice. The dessert was also exquisite - simple elegance yet intricate. The restaurant and staff: The decor was very pretty with lovely shades of blue. The staff were dressed nicely and VERY attentive. First portion of food came quickly and the subsequent courses were served in a timely manner. We had water and soda to drink, and staff came around refilling both drinks consistently. Our server was professional, knowledgeable and charming. The only “con” I can think of is that it can get a bit loud as it gets busy. For couples that want a more dimly lit / romantic ambiance, or subdued noise, Lago doesn’t quite have that and I would suggest Prime (also located in Bellagio).. but it’s still an excellent restaurant that I can’t wait to get back to.

Well done.

By Jasonm921 |

I really enjoyed this restaurant. First, we had a party of 8 and they were able to sit us relatively close to the window to view the fountains. Second, the food was really good. Had the Burrata and Focaccia for appetizer, Pici Bolognese for the Main and Tiramisu for Dessert. All were really prepared very well. Tasted just like NY Style Italian Food. Highly recommend.

Delicious!! Must visit.

By ScottishGal |

We booked lago because spago was full and it did not disappoint. Service was absolutely exceptional, food was delicious and views were gorgeous. Highly recommend the salmon!

Just WOW!

By Marla A |

View of the Bellagio fountains is spectacular. We had a window seat which was a 10 in my books. Food was just great and beautifully plated. Waiter was professional and attentive. Could not ask for a better experience. Highly recommend you try this one.

Beautiful decor, excellent service, delicious food

By missmaloym |

Had a fantastic visit to this ultra modern restaurant located in the Bellagio Hotel.. Of course they have a full bar and it is right next to the casino so you can people watch and If you want stop in for an elegant meal. They are open for lunch. I had the seafood linguine, and it was so full of scallops, shrimp and lobster that I was more than pleasantly surprised! So delicious!!! The flavor was robust and creamy and adding a little Parmesan on top made it perfection. The ambience and decor of this restaurant is beautiful. My server, Isaac was awesome. I recommend and would return.

Extremely disappointed

By Josh S |

This was such a huge disappointment. Ordered the linguine with shrimps instead of clam. The shrimps were gross and then the pasta was even worse. Tasted sour. Had a Caesar salad instead. It was a light dressing with very little garlic taste. The veal was good. Over priced restaurant and not very good overall

Perfect Anniversary Dinner

By Lilred |

Excellent time here dining for our anniversary. Food and service were good. We sat on the patio and watched the Bellagio fountains and the Eiffel tower. What a great view we had! A very special dinner for our 42 anniversary

Loved our lunch at Lago by Julien Serrano at Bellagio

By LynAnn |

Those of us who live in Las Vegas don't go down to the Strip much because it can be expensive. However, we met friends staying at The Bellagio for lunch at Lago and had a really fabulous meal. The restaurant is very pretty with a wall of windows looking out on the Bellagio fountains. It is nicely decorated and a pleasant atmosphere, not noisy. The service was excellent, and the food, while expensive, was really good. It would be a good "go-back-to" for a special occasion. I recommend the "Lago cocktail" which was $29 but very wonderful--a beautiful color in a large, lovely glass, with a big round ice cube in the middle. I would get it again. I had the breakfast plate with scrambled eggs, 3 strips of bacon, 2 slices of ham, and 2 sausages, with potatoes. It was $30 and really good. (Took some of it home, too!). So, it was a $59 lunch but I consider that it was $25 for lunch and $34 for the wonderful experience and atmosphere. Go here! I recommend it.

Tasty but very expensive

By Josh B |

The food was generally good and the service (once we were seated) was great. The seafood risotto and the branzino were both delicious. Wehad a bit of a kerfuffle at the check in process—the restaurant had lost our reservation despite us having a confirmation email, and that was not quickly resolved (though it was eventually). The lemon citrus cake wasn’t lemony at all—just generally sweet. And the entrees listed above were $58 and $57 with no sides. So it was a little of a mixed experience.

Magical Table in front of the Bellagio Fountains

By George G |

Outstanding menu and expansive wine list with impeccable service! Try to request a table along the window to the Bellagio Fountains. It will be a magical experience!

Not as it o ce eas

By emcat1 |

Overall, the menu options have changed and not for the better-used to be a place for a solid lunch /dinner but really if a pasta choice is spaghetti and meatballs, chicken parm-that says it all. But overall it wasn’t just the choices in pasta but other categories it was well. It was the overall taste which for us just wasn’t there. Go to Spago, splurge, at la cirque.

Food ok, ambience less so

By KSO1960 |

The food was really good, just like a Julian Serrano restaurant. The ambience was a bit marginal. Because of the way it was built, it was very loud. That really spoiled the fun. Otherwise, the price-performance ratio was very good.

Liza Loves Lago

By Real_Liza614 |

I really didn’t know what to expect, but I was so thankful that we made an early OpenTable reservation. We sat at the best table ever and enjoyed a beautiful view of the Bellagio water and backdrop of the strip. Apparently the fountains turn on late morning but thats ok we caught sight if them after leaving.I enjoyed our window view of the strip and the Eiffel Tower. I felt Like it was in Europe again …it is one of the most beautiful restaurants I’ve ever been to with family. I especially liked the cotton cloth napkins made in Italy. I don’t know what it is about cloth napkins, but it just makes the restaurant that much more special. We had a beautiful breakfast with my daughter and her friend. We all ordered something different and everything looked and tasted scrumptious. The service was awesome. I will be back. I liked the rock sugar sticks for my latte. Everyone gave me theirs and I saved them for home the next day with my morning cup of Java 😎👍

Great experience overall, wonderful time 😊

By Gary T |

Essentially we enjoyed everything about our dining experience here. Had a window table, service very on top of it. Edgar the sommelier was outstanding in not only helping us choose a bottle but also throughout our meal checked on us and made sure we were happy (of course our servers did as well) Food was great, my wife was beautiful and we enjoyed it immensely. Again thanks to Edgar for your exceptional service!

LAGO Is A Restaurant I Like A Lot

By Nataleen S |

This restaurant is also getting a 5 star review! The pizza and French fries were so tasty, and a woman gave me the seat I wanted without me having to ask! And the server brought me my food and lemonade, and that was so nice! LAGO is basically a must-eat if you're in vegas and you're hungry. I like this restaurant a lot!

Dinner with a view

By Marivinera |

Wanted to have a nice dinner on the Strip with a view. We were able to get into Lago and get a table with a view of the Bellagio fountain on a Wednesday night. As a "welcome back to Vegas" they are offering a 3 course meal for $55 and you can add a wine pairing for an additional $25. I am a sommelier so it was nice to get to talk to the head sommelier at the restaurant who explained the pairing. Between my husband and I we ordered

Stunning view and fantastic evening at Lago made our vacation

By Chris |

This was my second visit to Lago and both times the meal and experience blew me away. We were in town for a double celebration, our engagement and my Fiancés 40th Birthday. I had booked a table for the veranda a couple of months in advance but unfortunately the weather had different ideas. After 270 consecutive dry days, it rained 3 days straight. We checked in at 7 for an 8pm booking and asked if it’s possible to get a seat next to fountain balcony window. The lady said she would see to it that we get the best spot possible. We then headed off to the casino floor for 45mins before returning, getting a drink at the bar and waiting in the lounge section. We were seated at 8 on the dot and, oh my, the view was breathtaking and the fountain display as you dine is incredible. Our server was a true gentleman! The atmosphere is bustling but not like a school canteen. It’s filled with people on dates, business trips and groups of friends. There was a broad range of attire from tux and cocktail dress, to polo shirts and chinos. We both had the filet mignon and the menu is quite varied. I’d say there is definitely something for everyone. It’s not exactly cheap but what do you expect when you are at a restaurant basically IN the Bellagio fountain? Although the surrounding view comes at a premium, I thought the prices were reasonable and we got through a decent amount of wine before finishing our meal with the dessert ‘the orange’. Great staff, great atmosphere, stunning surroundings, exquisite view, awesome food and a satisfied couple. What else can you ask for when you come to Vegas? Maybe a touch more luck at the slots…..

Delicious food and drinks marred by poor customer service!

By Shawn |

When we arrived for our dining, we were slightly early (5-10 minutes) so waited around in the lobby and were told it wouldn't be too long. We waited as many other people came in and were given their seats, despite our turning up early and then waiting around well past our dining time despite a fairly empty restaurant. We did ask the front-of-house staff, who didn't seem very receptive and were told it would be soon, and after 20-30 minutes after our reservation, we were finally seated. We ordered a couple of cocktails which were rather nice and refreshing including the Lado Cocktail. We ordered some bread, garlic bread (and asked for cheese on top) and also a FOCACCINA BREAD which was a little burnt on top and bottom. My partner went for the Spaghetti and Meatballs which were tasty and a good portion size, I went for the Truffle Fondue Lasagna which was also delicious and rich. After this I decided to order another cocktail, on the menu it only mentioned an Old Fashioned, which is my favourite drink and cocktail, I'd seen others with a smoked variation but didn't see it on the menu, so I went ahead and ordered assuming it was the smoked version. It wasn't and after mentioning that I was hoping for the smoked version, our server rather rudely said that I hadn't ordered that, I politely showed that it wasn't on the menu, and then he took the Old Fashioned away without saying anything and came back with the smoked one. We still decided to order dessert as we didn't want to ruin our evening, and the Sorbet/Ice Cream was lovely, I ordered a Tiramisu which is one of my favourite desserts and was tasty (and I was also given a little cheesecake as it was my birthday which was nice). All in all the experience was rather disappointing due to the customer service from both the front of the house and the waiter. I appreciate we're not large spenders or 'high rollers' but it did ruin a stunning view and great food so we're likely to choose another restaurant next time.

Pasta

By LostInTime |

I went here for dinner. It was crowded and a bit loud inside because there were several large groups. The waiter, Rado, was awesome. I had the shrimp cocktail was great. My pasta was also very good.

Bad anniversary meal!

By Sightseer45161132349 |

This was a terribly disappointing meal for my wife and I. It was our 33rd anniversary and we wanted to enjoy a really nice meal. We were ready to pay for a nice experience. We thought the Bellagio would have nothing but the best restaurants. We ate at the Lago by Julian Serrano. I ordered the "Mixed Seafood grill". Let me tell you, it was extreemly over cooked. The lobster tail was about 4" and appeared to be split in quarters instead of the typical half split. The lobster meat was so dry, that the flesh was so rubbery and hard to seperate from its "quartered" shell. Due to being overcooked, it had lost all of its flavor. The few little langustinos wear just as dry as split lobster quarters. The few shrimp on my plate could not have gotten any smaller. The 2 pieces of white fish were about 3 inches long by 2 inches wide and the thickest part was about 1/2 inch long that tappered down to 1/8th of an inch which was curled up and too dry to taste the flavor. I believe they gave me 2 sea scallops which were normal in size but also overcooked with too much char around the circular edges. The presentation of my food was uninviting. It looked as if they dumped everything out of a grill pan and onto the plate. Absolutely no arrangement or garnish to add appeal. My wife had the seafood risotto. It was a decent portion and very creamy but it tasted as if a 12 year old dumped a can of tomato paste in it. It lacked the sophisticated taste that she was expecting. The garlic bread was delicious and the best part of the meal. We dont usually complain about our food, we just dont go back. We didn't complain that night either and at $300 dollars, we really should have complained. The gentleman server was pleasent but he should not have allowed my food to leave the kitchen looking like that. Yes, we still left a $50 dollar tip. I'm so glad that I didnt purchase the $800 dollar lovers dinner for two. It is my opinion that the Lago is very elegant inside but overly hyped and hides behind the name of Julian Serrano, who I'm sure would be upset that his name is behind our disappointing meal. Go at your own risk and buyer beware that posh isn't necessarily synonymous with delicious. Red Lobster could have done better.

Mixed feelings with a spectacular view

By Andrew Miller |

We came here for dinner on the final night of our Vegas trip and have some mixed feelings. The service was great, and the restaurant is beautiful. We got a table outside on the patio overlooking the Bellagio fountains and it was an incredible experience. We found the food incredibly overpriced. We both had pasta dishes and they definitely weren’t noticeably better than anything we’ve had in any generic Italian restaurant in the past. There’s a good selection on the menu, and one of the most extensive wine lists I’ve ever seen. Overall we had a great time, but had we not been sat outside with a fountain view, we’d have been very disappointed with the cost and value of the meal.

A Taste of Luxury with Some Considerations

By Love2Travel |

Our dining experience at Lago, with Alexa as our server, was marked by exquisite flavors and a luxurious ambiance, albeit with a few considerations. Ambiance: Located in a prestigious setting, Lago offers a sophisticated atmosphere that befits its reputation as a high-end establishment. The restaurant's elegant decor and attentive service create an environment conducive to a special dining experience. Cuisine: The culinary offerings at Lago were undoubtedly delicious. My husband and I indulged in a portion of lamb Bolognese and seafood Risotto, which was rich and flavorful, showcasing the chef's skillful preparation. Our guests enjoyed the chicken Parmesan, which was expertly prepared and received with enthusiasm. Cost Considerations: While the food was exceptional, the prices at Lago are undeniably high. Our bill for five people totaled $450, which included additional charges for bread baskets—$11 for garlic bread and approximately $14 for focaccia. Although the quality of the food was commendable, the portion sizes of the bread seemed minimal for a table of five. Beverages: We also sampled a drink priced at about $24, though we found the serving size to be quite small considering the price point. Conclusion: In conclusion, dining at Lago offers a glimpse into fine dining luxury with its impeccable cuisine and elegant setting. However, potential patrons should be prepared for a substantial bill, reflective of the restaurant's high prices. While the food quality justifies the cost to some extent, the additional charges for bread and smaller-than-expected drink servings may influence diners' overall value perception. For those seeking a lavish dining experience and willing to splurge, Lago remains a notable choice despite its premium pricing.

Amazing restaurant

By avira1010 |

Amazing place, food and quality of service. The food was amazing!! the Drinks (Expresso martini and Lychee Martini) were amazing. Highly Recommend. Go in the evening and enjoy the fountains.

The pizza is good, if only for an aperitif.

By Marina |

The pizza is good, if only for an aperitif. Too bad I paid $21 for it. Very expensive, very small portions compared to American standards but also compared to Italian ones.

Good but not blown away.

By Niamh 🐝 |

We agreed that whilst in Vegas we would do some fine dining. Italian cuisine is one of our favourites so we thought it would be rude not to. We were allocated a fab table with good views of the Bellagio Fountains. Service was good and food was tasty, that being said I wasn’t blown away. I felt that I experience this level of food and service from my local Italian restaurant without the price tag.

Liked it so much we went back 2 nights later!

By 502Philip1989 |

Gorgeous restaurant with wonderful views of the Bellagio dancing waters. Very convenient access directly from the casino floor. Really good dinner options. Worth the visit even if you’re not staying at Bellagio.

Overpriced food, mistook my friend's order but did not compensate

By Ronnie |

I came with a bachelorette party of about 11 girls. One of my friends ordered "seared scallops to share" off the menu and received 4 scallops. We did not know until we received the bill that that was a "full serving" and was $60. However, on the menu the "seared scallops to share" is $30. And it also doesn't list how many scallops are on the dish. So one scallop is $15!!! How were we supposed to know if it doesn't list how many scallops are on the plate on the menu? My friend told the waiter that she asked for the "to share portion of scallops," but he insisted she ordered some full sized portion. There isn't any other item on the menu that's a "full portion" that has scallops on it. The waiter insisted he was right, and we didn't know what to do but pay. Will never return!

Very expensive and beware of tax and tips

By mrvancleef |

Location was excellent food was also very good however price was very expensive £28 a glass of wine and over £44 for a pasta dish. You are over paying for a view of the fountains. 253 DOLLARS for 3 pasta meals 2 wines and a glass of coke

Great service, food not so good

By Dorset_Solo_traveller |

I popped in here for some dinner after watching ‘O’ at the Bellagio. Lago had had good reviews and appeared like a nice restaurant although as I arrived some paramedics were wheeling a trolley out, which is never good for a restaurant or their customers. They have beef carpaccio on the starters menu which I love. I was seated quickly at the bar and ordered a glass of rosé wine while I waited to order. The service was quick although the bar tender was very busy mixing drinks. My beef carpaccio arrived quite quickly. It had shaved fennel and pieces of marinated artichoke, topped with a finally grated Parmesan and aioli. They could leave the artichoke off and this would be an improvement in my opinion as this fibrous vegetable added nothing. The beef carpaccio was very fine, almost lacy. And it tasted good except it was very over-salted. I am not sure why they added any salt at all with everything else going on, it did need a sprinkle of black pepper but definitely did not need salt. This was all I was going to eat for dinner tonight so it was a bit of a disappointment. The bill for my food and drink plus tip was well over $50.

Anniversary dinner

By Tony D |

What a great dining experience. From the time we checked in we were greeted by name, & being it our anniversary, we were wished a happy anniversary by everyone who took care of us. Our server Ali was very friendly. We had a great view of the fountains from our table. The food was simply amazing. Also, at the end of dinner, Ali bought us over each a complimentary glass of champagne to toast our special event.

Amazing view & food.

By M2cute |

We got there a little early so we had incredible drinks at the bar.We then were seated right by the window so we had great view of the fountains. Awesome! the we ordered the all seafood item lobster, shrimp, scallops, white fish, it was lots of food enough for 2and we had grilled artichokes. Service was excellent! we loved this place!

Stunning food, stunning location, stunning hospitality!

By vicky |

Stunning food, high quality and superb seating overlooking the fountains. Our waiter Brian was charming and considerate, checking on our needs and even gave my husband a surprise birthday cake! :) If we are ever lucky enough to return, we will be back to this fabulous restaurant! Thank you for giving us a wonderful experience and memory.

Disappointed

By Canuckergirl1202 |

We ordered scallops, which were amazing, Cesar salad, which was bitter and had the end pieces of the romaine lettuce, prawn cocktail, which was rubbery and were not cleaned well, chicken parmesan, which as dry and salty, veal, which was good, seafood risotto, which was delicious. So, 3 of our dishes were good. Not impressed. We told the waiter that the salad was bitter and he shrugged his shoulders and didn’t say anything. Needless to say, when you are paying $500 for dinner it shouldn’t be this bad. We won’t go back

Best service for a hostess ever!

By Richard S |

We were celebrating my wife's last chemo treatment. We were asked to wait a bit for our reserved table but I was hopeful that they were trying to get a good table, they were. Then, after we had ordered, Kelsey, our hostess, came back apologizing for moving us again. She took us to a table right by the window. The view was amazing and my wife was pleasantly surprised. Kelsey didn't have to go out of her way, but she did! She really made our night. I would come back just for her and how she treated my wife. That being said, the food is amazing. The restaurant is superb. The view of the fountains going off every 15 minutes is hard to beat in Vegas. The price, in line with fine dining in Vegas. Don't miss out!

Style of substance?

By Lee W |

We booked Lago as part of a celebration after redoing our wedding vows. I was told to book a patio seat by a family member, which had a minimum spend of $150 per head (prices make this quite easy :)). The food was good, though I have eaten in nicer restaurants, I have to say. However, the setting is what sets this place apart. To be totally transparent, I am not sure I would be happy if I had booked a table here and had to sit in the back of the restaurant, where you can't see the famous fountains. If you are going to go, book a patio or window seat. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother.

Unwelcoming

By james c |

Greeted by a very unfriendly lady at the front desk. Greeted by an even unfriendlier bartender who seemed very unbothered to serve us. Our waiter was explaining the menu to us when something caught his eye and he started signalling to another staff member then walked away from our table. I’m not sure if they are all trained to give off this sense of importance but it was the most unwelcoming experience of the whole trip. However the food was very good.

Excellent

By Passport17997807838 |

Excellent atmosphere and aesthetic right by the Bellagio fountains service was first class and our three course meal was simply perfect from the scrumptious antipasto to the tantalizing mango sorbet a must visit in Vegas.

Wonderful experience

By Amanda W |

Dined as a group of 10 one evening. The crazy traffic ended up making us a little late for our reservation but they were easily able to accommodate us after a phone call letting them know we were on our way. We were seated across from the bar so no amazing view but did appreciate the calm décor of the restaurant. Was a little surprised to see that the dress code was in no way being enforced, but it didn’t affect our meal. All staff/servers were amazing to deal with and very friendly. Our table tried several apps including the Seafood platter, garlic bread and something that didn’t appear on the menu but had salmon and tuna slices. The Lago cocktail was so refreshing! Rave reviews for the surf & turf meal, the lemon tagliolini and the scallops at our table. We were all too full to try dessert but the choices did sound good. Would recommend for a nice meal out!

Disappointing

By MurphyCornwall |

Booked a fountain view table for an anniversary dinner, and were disappointed to have a table with a partial side view. Appears that reservations do not guarantee your request. Food/drinks were pricey, for fairly average food. Service good until we came to settle the bill. Tried to charge the bill to our room in the Cosmo, this didn’t work for some reason, and the atmosphere changed dramatically. The server was downright rude, behaving as tho we had some control over their system. After 3 very tense attempts, and many dark looks from the server, we settled with a credit card. Wouldn’t return.

Just loved it!

By Maria Cecília P |

The food is delicious! We had the carpaccio, octopus salad and the mushroom risotto. It was very good! I totally recommend this restaurant!

Never again. You didn't feel like a guest, you felt like a money machine. Uneasy ambience and mediocre quality.

By Holger |

Price / performance not right. Partly you had the feeling you were just being ripped off. Constantly pouring the drinks annoyed.

Bitter Disappointment

By Pmtodd5078 |

We were so excited to be eating here as it got great reviews and we love Italian food. However, our experience was far from good. We got the carpaccio appetizer, which had way too much stuff on it. Couldn’t even taste the carpaccio or cheese. The dinners were pretty dismal as well. My husband’s lobster risotto was mushy as was the lobster itself. My chicken “Parmesan” was horrible. The chicken was cooked to death and had what looked to be melted mozzarella on top. I tasted no Parmesan and just about needed a chain saw to cut the meat. And I can’t say our service was great either. One of the worst meals of my life and a huge disappointment. The only good point was the fountain show. Otherwise terrible evening.

Top restaurant a must try - a true Italian cuisine

I had an amazing experience at this magnificent restaurant Two top waiters who were so professional: David And Allisia I would highly recommend Top quality food and service Second time that I visit it I would go there again

Lago ✨

By Nede |

The best experience of my life, 10/10 El Lago in Las Vegas: I highly recommend this restaurant with no hesitation. From the outstanding service to the exquisite dishes, everything was an unforgettable experience. I went with my wife and I was truly impressed. And the view… absolutely breathtaking!

A lovely meal and great views!

By Ter1593 |

We really enjoyed coming here for my 30th birthday celebrations as a couple! I did request to sit on patio; however, I'm pretty sure every single person does this so don't expect it! We were say inside which was actually lovely as it had air con and the massive windows meant we could still see the fountain show! We had the antipasti to start and then both of us had steaks - which were pricy as expected but absolutely delicious. When the waiter found out it was my birthday, he brought over a small piece of Cheesecake free of charge which was a nice gesture! We dressed very elegantly but there were people in casual wear so don't panic about attire! I would recommend!

So many world class restaurants …so little time.

By Ann0426 |

We had a short wait at the bar and really thought the bartenders looked so sharp in their uniforms. They looked good and we’re charming too. Our table has a lovely view of the fountains and it looks like all of the tables had a good view. Our companions had lobster and seemed to thoroughly enjoy it. They had the octopus potato appetizer which was outstanding but I skipped that since I like octopus’s too much to eat them. I had a Caesar salad which was a classic one with just the right amount of very fresh anchovies and then I shared some Osso Buco with my husband. That’s a favorite of his and he thought it was perfect. Ambiance is a bit over lighted for a fine dining experience which gave off a little bit of a cafeteria feel but overall it it a beautiful, modern restaurant. The fountains give you the quintessential Las Vegas experience. There are so many world class dining options in Las Vegas and so little time.

Better places to checkout in Vegas

By Evelyn |

We were there for a girls trip and decided to dine in Lago. I had requested a table in the patio to enjoy the fountain show months in advance only to be told upon getting seated they had a private party outside and could not accommodate - from what my friends and I saw the people outside didn’t even look like they knew each other and we witnessed multiple times different parties getting sat on what we had requested. Food is your average Italian, cocktails were good. I do not want to mention the server’s name only because we all worked in the industry but we felt neglected. He would walk by our table multiple times and did not acknowledge us for the last hour or so of our dinner. For $500+ that we spent I wanted to like it but I unfortunately don’t think I’ll be back.

100% avoid unless you enjoy making a booking and still hanging about over an hour later waiting on a table

By A S |

Horrific experience, treated appallingly, had a reservation for 7pm was still standing about waiting on a table after 8pm while the server showed everyone else to theirs, pretending like we didn’t exist. This was booked for an anniversary as we went here a couple of years ago to celebrate it. Experience completely destroyed for us. Naturally won’t be returning.

Amazing Dinner & View

By RossAllan1993 |

Visited in July to celebrate 1st wedding anniversary - were asked on arrival if we would like to be seated outside. We were taken to possibly the best seat in the house overlooking the fountains. Service was very good and food was excellent. Would 100% recommend

Fabulous food, definitely worth a visit.

By VaniMBDDS |

Great restaurant in the Bellagio. The food is amazing. The view of the fountain is really fun. When we arrived, the hostess had her back to us, putting on make up. We were a party of 6, with half our party parking their car. The hostess was quite rude, refusing to seat us till everyone was there. Normally, we would not have minded. There were lots of empty tables since we were there around 2PM, between lunch and dinner. We asked if we could be seated at a smaller table, and the rest of our party seated close to us. She was adamant in her rudeness. We asked to speak to the manager. Darrin Tucker, the manager was so kind and gracious. He seated us right away, and apologized for the hostess. Darrin definitely knows how to take care of visitors. He checked on us several times. Darrin treated us to a delicious appetizer. The rest of the staff was friendly and professional. The food was delicious. If it wasn't for the hostess, I would have given 5 stars!

WORST ITALIAN RESTAURANT EVER!

By tins23s |

WORST ITALIAN RESTAURANT! Service was very poor! The server with porcelain teeth and the manager mishandled the entire dinner of my family of 30 . Honestly, these ppl are in the wrong business. Very rude and felt that you’re being rushed from the time they are taking our orders up until the end. The food is bland, servings are size of appetizers, and overpriced! DO NOT GO HERE! Your day will be ruined! Check out other great restaurants in LV.

Very disappointing dining experience.

By lgoncalves |

First of all, it seems a restaurant with a manager checking the operation. I had lunch there and the servers seemed overwhelmed. I saw 2 running down the bar and the tables. Food: I had the burrata salad which very good. I asked for some additional ciabatta toasts and one of them was burned. That should never been served. (See picture) Unacceptable at this king of restaurant. The rigatoni was simply tasteless. I think the menu said pink vodka sauce. It was orange and I returned it. Luckily they did not charge for it. The dessert was good.

Birthday Dinner

By Phil E |

My wife had booked us into here for a surprise Birthday Dinner, she had asked on the reservation for a window seat if possible, they didn't seem to have picked up on this when she asked again when we arrive, although other people appear to have been given these seats, not to worry though we were still seated in the middle of the restaurant and had a view over the Bellagio Fountains, staff were quick to come over and take an order of drinks, we then had the usual photographer coming round offering to take pics, she went round most tables. Ordered food which I must say is very expensive for what you get, over $70 for a steak that comes with nothing, I get that this is Vegas and you are sitting looking out over the fountains but they don't even offer a lot of additional sides, just a few veg and mash, maybe due to being British I was surprised there was no offer of Chips/Fries, the wife had Chicken Parmigiana and we shared a very strange meat platter to start which had some very strange meats on, not what we are used to after having eaten in Spain and Italy where they are the masters. Food wasn't too long to arrive and the waiter was very good, the food itself wasn't anything special, for Fillet steak I was expecting it to melt in my mouth but although nice I have tasted a lot better from the likes of Aldi and Lidl at home, it was an extra $14 for the Asparagus which again was a little bit of a let down, about 7 pieces of asparagus with a but of cheese melted on top. I didn't enjoy the food and neither did the wife, not that it was horrible just maybe our expectations were a little too high, perhaps that's what you get when you go somewhere that has the view, they maybe don't need to try as much. I wouldn't be going back there if I went to Vegas again and I would recommend to go to so many different places before choosing here, especially given the prices.

Eat here if staying at Bellagio

By Sarah C |

We had a wonderful dinner overlooking the fountains. I definitely recommend making a reservation. We shared the fresh seafood mixed grill - oh my it was delicious!

It is worth it!!! Highly recommended

By Elena B |

I had dinner at this restaurant during my honeymoon. We were looking for a refined and romantic place to eat well without spending a fortune. The choice turned out to be perfect: the view is spectacular (I recommend the outdoor table; the first row has an additional cost, while the tables in the next rows have no extra cost), the staff is courteous and the food really great. Two of us had a plate each: my husband a fish first course and I a fish second course with a side dish. The portions were plentiful and well cared for aesthetically. We added a glass of wine each, and the total expense was about $220. I assure you that it is absolutely worth it! Highly recommended!

Don’t waste your money, the staff don’t care

By chezzybsting |

Wasn’t impressed with this place at all. Booked very advanced as we was going here straight after we got married and asked for a outside fountain view and got put in a window with a back view. We was in our wedding attire and wanted nice pictures bang in front of the fountains. The staff wasn’t interested said they would go and check and just left us where we were.

Our expectations too high?

By Xin W |

The location and view are fantastic, and the service is good. Unfortunately, the food did not meet expectations. Both the Caesar salad and the side vegetables that accompanied the sandwich were excessively salty, to the point of being unpalatable. The pasta was also lacking in excitement. Our small party of three had pancake instead of dessert. It was good, but not WOW. Perhaps our expectations were too high.

Great Veal Chop

By Alex P |

The veal chop be a reason for me to return. The prosciutto, mushroom and sage crème worked very well with a piece of carefully prepared thick chop. It was elegantly meaty!

Disappointing

By Paula F |

I would not recommend this restaurant. We had reservations for 11 people. Our table did not have a view of the fountains. It was right across from the area where they make the garlic bread etc (main entrance to the dining room). I know large parties can be a challenge but our bill was almost $1,400 (could have been higher if we were offered an opportunity to order additional drinks) and my water glass was never refilled and sat empty for half of the time. I ordered linguine and clam sauce and was not offered any grated cheese. I have had better. The waiter did not come around for additional drink orders, so i never ordered another glass of wine. No one raved about their dinners, just average and we ordered almost everything on the menu from filet mignon, branzino to spaghetti and meatballs, appetizers from grilled octopus to Caesar salad and breads. So many people running around and no one noticed our water was empty etc. Very unorganized. We were there celebrating birthdays and travelled from Western New York. Although we enjoyed our stay at the Bellagio i will not be going back to Lago. So many better options for the pr1ce. And the wait staff was the worst we experienced during our stay.

Great view, amazing food

By Erika Cyrus |

How many players have a great view right to the fountain the food is completely amazing. The details of the restaurants are well taken care of the service is nice you feel like you are in Italy. It’s a must if you visit Las Vegas!

Perfect lunch

Our waiter took wonderful care to help create the perfect birthday afternoon with my mother. We were not rushed, the food was a feast for the senses, we cannot get back soon enough. This has instantly become a part of our Vegas ritual.

Best Meal of our Trip

By Vacationer2Maine |

We had a 9pm reservation (because this is Vegas and this was after a show). We got great service and the linguini and clams was the best meal of our trip. Not rushed. Good service. Great food.

Exceeded my high expectations

By red leaves f |

I made reservations about a month out for dinner on a Wednesday and the schedule was wide open. I did some research on the menu and I was prepared to pay the prices. I’m a super picky eater so I was concerned about what to order. Pizza was my back up plan if all else failed. My son and I arrived a few minutes early. We were checked in and were seated in an open waiting area behind the hostess. In less than 5 minutes we were seated. We were asked if we preferred the patio or indoor seating. We chose indoor and we were seated one row from the windows nearest to the fountains. We had a great view of the show right at sunset. There was a gorgeous mosaic plate on the table. It was stunning. The leather menus are elegant. And ice water was served in fancy glasses. The water guy never let the glass go empty and my son was drinking several glasses of water. The staff is flawlessly attentive. They anticipated your needs and made you feel spoiled. We ordered wine and garlic bread to start. The bread was excellent! The menu offered more meat free options than I was expecting. The idea of pizza was quickly thrown out the window and we both ordered a pasta dish. My son had pasta with vodka sauce and I had tortellini. We both agreed that it was our best meal in Vegas and we seriously ate our way down the strip. We finished strong with a chocolate dessert. My only complaint would be the small portion of the tortellini. Ten pieces of filled pasta was the portion. Maybe it was just so good that I wanted more! The food was served hot and the quality explains the cost. The service provided a level of care that makes you crave returning. The food is unexplainably good! The atmosphere was welcoming and elegant. My son and I aren’t one for crowds but we felt at ease seated in the midst of other tables. It’s well laid out. It’s fancy without being stuffy. As a teacher, I don’t typically eat at restaurants where the average cost is $100 a person. My expectations where so high given the cost. This experience exceeded my expectations in every way. We’ve been home for a few days and we are still talking about our experience at Lago. It’s definitely a treat for me and we enjoyed our experience. I look forward to coming back.

Overall not good enough for the cost.

By 702lv |

As locals we have been to many Las Vegas restaurants. We agree with other reviewers that you can do better for the money elsewhere. The best thing about the food here is the view. That says it all. Overall, not good enough for the cost. Won't return. There were great things, good things and disappointments. GREAT: View, bruschetta, scallops. GOOD: Clams and broth (not s sauce) in the linguini and clams dish, branzino cooked nicely. DISAPPOINTING: Very under-seasoned liguini, branzino main course an incomplete disappointingly dull dish.

New Years Eve

Came here on New Year’s Eve and we were able to sit right by the fountains of Bellagio. The food is amazing and totally worth the money

Amazing night to remember!

By Sarah Denn-Magee |

My husband had book an anniversary meal whist we were in Vegas. We had an amazing experience with fabulous food, a spectacular view of the Bellagio fountains and fantastic service from Fabio our server and Bianca on hosting. These too really made our evening and gave amongst the best service in Vegas. Please pass out Thanks on to Fabio and Bianca as well as the whole team!!!

Seafood pasta - yum!

By Jamie V |

Celebrated our 20th anniversary at Lago and was not disappointed. Our amazing waiter Mike was friendly, informative and very attentive. When I asked about Seafood risotto or linguini & clams he suggested seafood pasta - best of both worlds. It’s got a bit of a kick so if you don’t like a little spice maybe try something else. We will definitely go again. Thank you Mike for making our meal so special.

Delicious!

By Andrea T |

Always a wonderful meal and experience at Lago. Very nice atmosphere and service is top notch. Food is always delicious. The Seafood Risotto and Lasagna are favorites! Not our first visit and won't be our last.

Best Overall Dining Experience of Our Trip to Vegas

By Dave_at_Barrie |

The food is very good, with a very decent portion size. The up-close view of the Fountains is the real star of the dinner. Don't bother eating across the street and watching the Fountains. You'll pay more, get less, and see less.

Delicioso!

By kendellbrink |

Enjoyed a wonderful experience fountainside at this beautiful restaurant. Had reservations and requested a table near the window which was accommodated. The views overlooking the Bellagio Fountains. Service is attentive without being intrusive and the sommelier was quite helpful. We both ordered pastas and enjoyed tasty meals beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. There are ample selections for vegetarians. The focaccia is light and buttery. The wine list is extensive and pairs beautifully with the meals. The espresso machine was apparently not functioning; the brewed coffee was okay. A surprise bite of cheesecake remembered our anniversary.

Poor service, worse food

By Clare H |

After requesting the patio a month in advance, we were sat inside. The service was a complete letdown, our server was complacent and bordering on rude. The food was lacking flavour and seasoning, some thing you would more likely see at ABC restaurant. The bread that was brought to our table was breakfast toast. If this restaurant doesn’t sort itself out soon, it will drown in the sea of incredible choices in Las Vegas, don’t waste your time or money on this Establishment that has seen its day.

An Anniversary to remember!

Amazing food, spectacular view and a wonderful ambience. Staff were so friendly annd attentive. Absolutely glorious experience. Cannot recommend Lago highly enough. Thanks again for an anniversary we will never forget.

Lago dinner

By Sightseer21 |

Lago was an ultimate experience! The check in staff was very professional and friendly. Our server did a great job and was prompt and accurate. I ordered the steak and green beans and it was phenomenal! The fountains were beautiful to watch. I recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!

Good, could be better

By Justin G |

I was recently in Las Vegas in a family trip and we decided to have dinner at Lago. The atmosphere was very elegant and modern with an moderate level of background music allowing for table conversation. However, the restaurant filled up quickly and the ambiance and comfort was replaced with excessively loud conversations over each other. It is understandable that the draw of this location is the superb views of the Bellagio fountains, it would be good to also have some sound barriers or breaks to deplete the echo of noise. The service was quite rushed and meals were served before appetizers were completed, and dessert menus offered before meals were complete. The sense of hurry up, eat and go was received. The table pre-sets were non existent and clearing of plates was not consistent. The food quality was good, flavours blended well, portions were appropriate. However, plating seemed to be assembly line style. The orders were also poorly timed and came out inconsistently. Although, I rated this as 4/5, it barely crossed the line from a 3-4 in my book. A lot of little mistakes that could be corrected with proper training and timing. I won’t be returning to this location in the future.

Bread and service. And where were the croutons?

By Rhapsodyinblue |

This was definitely a mixed experience. We stopped here as we were looking for something that had a table and was a little less upscale at the Bellagio. We were seated quickly, but got a high top in the bar area, which in retrospect may have been a mistake. We were exposed to the noise of the bar crowd, and also people coming by and essentially being next to our table as they were walking through the casino. Water was served promptly however it took some time for our waitperson to visit. I have been to a lot of Italian restaurants, but I don’t think I ever saw one that did not serve bread. Something to munch on while you’re hungry and waiting for your food. An accompaniment to salad or whatever you’re eating; in this case I think the only way to get bread was to order the focaccia on the menu for $11. There was no way, even in Vegas, where you have to become immune to any of the numbers on the menu in order to stay sane. We split a Caesar salad and even though the menu said it came with anchovies the wait person explained that it doesn’t, they are in the dressing. The salad was good. It was not a typical Caesar as it had broccolini in it, finally chopped and no croutons. I think this place has something against baked carbohydrates. Our salad plates were not removed companion put hers on the edge of the table and even that took some time. I finally had to do the same with mine because no one was clearing it. The food took a very long time. We were repeatedly told it would be coming, but it took my waving down a bus boy and asking if they could check on it. It finally came and it was good. The shrimp cocktail had a lot of shrimp along with a spicy cocktail sauce and a sauce that is as yet unidentified. It was white and I am not even sure what was in it. I had the tagliatelle with shrimp and it was really good. The shrimp were small and I believe they were cut pieces of larger shrimp. The shrimp was abundant. The pasta was cooked well and there was a heavy butter or oily sauce even though I asked for it to be light, but perhaps they could not do it. there were capers in it and freshly grated cheese was provided. I feel badly emphasizing the bread thing, but 11 bucks is not reasonable when you could put out a couple of slices of Italian bread. The service was also not great both in the speed and attentiveness. We barely had anyone check on us.

Superb food, romantic setting and excellent service

By CM |

Lago is a spectacular restaurant. The menu items are pricey, but recommend you consider the entire experience. We had amazing Italian food, romantic views of the Bellagio fountains (try to go at sunset), and superb service from the entire wait staff. Our server, Alessandro, was so attentive and spent as much time as we needed talking about the various dishes (and shared stories of our families in Italy). My husband and I shared a caprese pizzetta which had great homemade marinara sauce, Lemon tagliolini with. handmade pasta noddles (this was the absolute star of the dinner), a nice piece of grilled salmon served with a butter sauce, and a decadent chocolate mouse dessert. Every dish was expertly made and presented. Congrats to the chefs and wait staff for making the experience superb.

Busy place, but a great experience

By handif |

Excellent food and super friendly service! My wife’s tortellini main was outstanding, and I think I have to say my beef carpaccio was the best I’ve ever had. The carpaccio was really enough for two people. Chocolate torte was delightful to share. The setting and a window fountain view added to the fun. They should trim down or somehow rationalise the wine list. It is so long, and largely ridiculously expensive, and I do mean in relation to any notional price in another restaurant or shop. This probably explained the (odd to me) observation that most diners were drinking cocktails. Make the wine list more accessible, you’ll sell more and people will enjoy their meal more! Anyhow, I drilled into the list and chose a Pouilly Fume (French) which is a wine we enjoy, and I felt was as sensible value offered. There was a decent Barbera should you want red. Great food, good service, good people watching with fointains. What’s not to like?

Lovely restaurant but ……….

By Yvonne H |

I booked this restaurant to have a patio and fountain view and table in April 2024 for our visit in October 2024. 72 hrs before our reservation I received a text saying the patio area had been reserved and booked for a private event and we could have a table inside with a fountain view ! On arrival at the restaurant I was told by the abrupt front of house staff “ well we sent you a text “ . Well yes you did , however why did you override my booking when I booked 6 months ago ?!? I didn’t get any explanation for this . That said the food and table service were excellent 🥂😀

Lovely Lago

By CheshireDancingqueen |

What Las Vegas does well is to make you feel that you are in a nice restaurant with stunning views when in reality you are only a few feet away from the hustle and bustle of a casino. Lago does this beautifully, situated in the Bellagio hotel with stunning views of the ‘dancing’ fountains, they do have a patio however I am unsure if there is a minimum spend required there. Our food was delicious: salmon with olives and capers and rigatoni with pesto and the most delicious fries, super crunchy. The service was excellent, very friendly. The only reason for taking a blob off is in relation to the clearing of tables. There was a large table that was left uncleared from the time we arrived until just before we left. The table was positioned on the way to the toilets so was in full view. Other smaller tables were cleared quickly, this one appeared to be forgotten. That said, good service, great food and a good location. Highly recommend.

Yes 🙌🏼

Sat at the bar solo for a drink and lunch. Beautiful decor and presentation of food and drinks. The bartenders were very talkative and oooohh… those suits 💙 I’ll be back !

Horrible Service, good steak

By Aaron S |

Our waiter was awful, as well as the assistants helping to keep the water filled. We dined for approximately an hour and a half and to say we were well taken care of would be an absurd statement. We had a table of 4, celebrating my 15 year wedding anniversary, and we had waters that were empty 3 different times. We had martinis that went empty, and we couldn’t get the waiter to come by for another round. We would be left unattended for 15 minutes at times while employees were zipping around other places. For the prices you charge, I would never expect to have to flag someone down for water or other beverages, or to even order food at the beginning. It was quite a disappointing experience. I’ll never return, and will recommend against others going to this not so “fine dining experience.” We spoke to a manager before leaving to let him now how bad the service was, so hopefully a spot correction was made.

Disappointed in the menu change.

By Michael B |

I have visited this restaurant several times, so obviously I usually enjoy it. We even hosted 50 people for my son's rehearsal dinner back in August of this year. On this visit, I asked for my favorite entree, the mixed grill and was told it was taken off the menu. So, apparently the whole menu has changed. I ended up getting steak and eggs, in a seafood restaurant. Does this tell you anything? I was severely disappointed and will not return. The service was excellent and the food wasn't bad, and my server was very apologetic, but it's just not the same. I won't go back.

Great view!!!

By Guillermo M |

The view is fantastic and the service was wonderful. All the dishes were tasty and paired well with our wine. The truffle pizza was pricey but definitely something to try. Will do this one again.

Excellent early lunch

By Travelinlight |

Dropped in for an early lunch around 11:30. Very nice layout, excellent service and a very good lunch of chopped salad and some salmon and a cappuccino. Lago is very nice for the daytime hours with some relaxing music and nice views of the strip. The salad had the freshest of ingredients, including artichokes. And the salmon was just right. They open at 10:30 and also serve brunch dishes which I might try when I visit next time which I definitely plan to do

Fantastic food and service

By onip1969 |

Fantastic food and service. The whole dinner experience was fantastic. We enjoyed the seafood pasta and pici bolognese followed by veal scallopini and branzino. The fountain view was a nice added bonus. This was our favorite meal of our visit to Vegas. We Definitely will be back and we highly recommended it.

Delicious and well worth it!

Lago is a lovely restaurant with delicious food, friendly staff and beautiful views. We enjoyed the seafood risotto, mushroom risotto and the lasagna. They were all wonderful. We will definitely be returning.

Lago in Vegas at Bellagios

By jodie H |

Lago in Bellagio is an excellent restaurant. We love the food, the ambiance, and The service is stellar. There is a bartender named Regina and she is absolutely excellent. She is friendly attentive and very knowledgeable about all the food and drinks, etc. she is absolutely the best bartender we have encountered! It is such a treat to go to Largo, and to be greeted with such a lovely attentive server! The food is outstanding. Everything is delicious. ! We highly recommend Largo if you’re in the Bellagio!

Nearly excellent meal with fountain views

By Weglarz |

Enjoyed a nice meal here with another couple. Salmon Piccata was excellent and rigatoni was good, albeit more basil would have been welcome. Our friends loved the filet, and the sommelier was very helpful in selecting a reasonably priced bottle of wine to complement our meals.

Very good!

By kiara |

Very good food. The apple pancakes were very tasty. The staff was very friendly and it's a beautiful place inside.

It was delicious

By Uki H |

The prices are (relatively) reasonable for a restaurant in Bellagio. You can eat while watching the fountain, and the atmosphere is nice. Be careful, as the portions are a little large. The steak, carpaccio, and lasagna were very delicious. The risotto was a little strong, but still delicious. If you ask to have your photo taken, they will take it at the time of the fountain (although it depends on how busy it is).

That view!

By 520daryllc |

Went for wife's 50th birthday dinner before going to "O". Made note at reservation of her birthday and were lucky enough to be seated at front of deck where we could enjoy the amazing fountain show. The food was ok, not great, not bad. But it was worth it to be seated in possibly the best seat of the house alone. View excellent, service excellent, food - ok.

Horrible service and bad wine

By Pdxorlisa |

Super disappointing visit. My husband ordered a Pinot Grigo from the bar while we waited for our table. We got the wine as we were seated. Seated at our table, I took my first taste of the wine and it was not right. We told our waiter - and he said "Not my ticket. What can I bring you?" I requested a Sauv Blanc and he swiftly removed the bad wine. When the check came - there was no comp for the bad wine. So we paid $26 for a wine I did not drink because it tasted horrible horrible.

Great food and service would return

Great food and atmosphere! Yummy meal, good service and a great menu. Nice views too, would go back. Make sure to have a reservation.

Brunch with girls

By ErikaCantu22 |

I enjoyed brunch with my friends at this place, and the views are great, especially if you sit in the garden or by the windows. The food was good, and the service was very friendly. I recommend making a reservation, as the brunch is very popular. The price seemed high for the portions, but the place is worth it for the views and to enjoy the fountain show from a privileged spot. Great place for pictures.

We had contemplated visiting many times before. The food was as great, the service was above average and that view. We will return.

Great atmosphere and service but mediocre food for the price

By Kristin S |

The service and view are stellar. The food is fine. I love a fine dining restaurant and appreciate excellent service. From arrival to departure, we were taken good care of. I was super disappointed by the food. The menu looks delicious but the food was just fine. For such a high price, it should be so much better OR lower the price.

Will return!

By Daniel R |

I wish I could give this more than 5. We had a great visit. We were lucky to be seated directly in front of the Bellagio fountains, what a cool way to experience them. The servers were fantastic and prompt even though the restaurant was completely full. The food was incredible. We shared the antipasto, lobster bisque, and seafood risotto. I would have been satisfied with just the antipasto it was so plentiful and delicious, but you’ll also do yourself a disservice not getting the risotto. This is quickly becoming my favorite Vegas stop as it gets better each time I visit.

Anniversary dinner - wonderful experience

By Jason Knibbs |

Amazing experiece, food was delicious with larger portion sizes than expected. services was top notch. Seated in front of the fountains for amazing views all dinner long. $$$$ but it was our anniversary so we splurged. If money were no object we'd definitely go again.

Beautiful food but the service needs attention.

By Andrew Simpson |

The food at the restaurant could not be faulted. The seafood risotto was the highlight of the meal, the best we have had anywhere. The view from nearly all tables is breathtaking with the fountain exploding into the air at regular intervals during the night. Unfortunately, the service let the ambience of the night fade away from us. It was an fortunate that our food was rushed to us and mains served before entrees were finished. We could not get attention of our server during as he seemed to be tasked with tables not near to us. The night ended with us having a word with the maitre d’ He made apologies and said he would look into the problems to ensure it would not happen again, which weI appreciated. I’m sure this was a one off instance.

Such a fun experience for our first night

By JesseandCrystal |

We were a party of three for dinner around 9:00 p.m. I wanted to eat here based off of a Youtube recommendation. I requested patio seating but I believe those are hard to come by as a lot of people get there early and just sit. However, we were very close to the floor to ceiling windows to see the water shows as we ate. The music is piped in so you can still get the experience like you are outside (minus the summer heat). Delicious food and wonderful service. Would love to come back!

Great spot in the Bellagio.

By JB |

Excellent. Bellagio was super busy but we walked in without a reservation for an early lunch on my 65th birthday. Friendly service, excellent bartenders and wait staff and food was impressive! We split a walnut/date/arugula pizza and lasagna with sausage ragu. Would return if ever in the Bellagio area again.

Great meal and the Bellagio fountain show!

By Stewart W |

Everything about the this restaurant was top class, the venue, the professionalism of the staff, the quality of the food. The fountain show was also excellent. I would recommend requesting a window seat as we did for the best view of the fountains.

Disappointed

By gwen k |

We have been to Lagos several times in the past. Our waitress Jennifer was great as were all the other servers we came in contact with. Several menu items have changed since our last visit. The spaghetti and meatballs was disappointing. The sauce tasted like it came from a Ragu jar. The meatballs were tasty. Husband had the filet. Requested cooked medium, but was overcooked. He ate it anyways. They have jammed so many tables in there, that you can hardly walk through without bumping into someone else. Think we’ll stay away next trip. Very loud for this type of restaurant.

Decent Food, Friendly Vibes

By Kobe M |

The atmosphere was nice, but the food was just okay. Service was friendly, yet a bit slow. Overall, it was a decent experience, but I expected more for the price. Wouldn’t rush back, but not terrible either.

LAGO for the win!

By Mary K |

My husband and I stayed at the Bellagio for New Years 2026. Every day for brunch we found ourselves at LAGO finding seats at the bar (no reservations needed for bar seating). They had two seats that are ADA accessible which made the whole experience that much more enjoyable for my disabled husband. Food: excellent! The ricotta whipped pancakes, the eggs Benedict with Calabrian hollandaise, the French toast, even the mortadella sandwich, all absolutely delicious off of the brunch menu. I tried the in-house made pasta Bolognese and it did not disappoint. Staff: my husband and I have stayed at multiple locations on the Strip and the staff at the Bellagio has been some of the best. LAGO was no different. Eric, Oscar, and DJ are excellent at what they do behind the bar and made our time there awesome. Overall: 10/10!

Perfect Valentines Day dinner

By Jeff W |

Made reservations to celebrate Valentines Day/Anniversary with the Lovely Mrs. We were seated on the patio with a fabulous view of the fountains. I was a little apprehensive at first as it was a little chilly out, but there were plenty of heaters about to make it enjoyable. They had a Valentines Day special, which included a lobster salad with an avacado mango dressing, your choice of Wagyu steak, or a sea bass fillet, and for dessert your choice of an espresso martini or cheesecake. The lobster salad was excellent. We both chose the Wagyu steak, which was cooked to perfection. The lovely Mrs. chose the espresso martini, which she says was delicious. I had the cheesecake, which was exceptional. The waitstaff, along with the overall experience, was excellent.

Hostess is Terrible

By Lynda E |

I asked for a table for one. The hostess said I could take Amy table at the front or on the bar. I sat down at a table and she came over and told me I could not sit there. I said “you literally just told me to take any table or sit at the bar.” She said this table is reserved and you should have told me where you were sitting. I left. Terrible customer service. Apparently if you’re dining alone they don’t want you.

Italian restaurant with a view at the fountains

By Haralambos S |

First, let’s dispel the myths of other reviews. Our service was great, our food delicious, and our seating was great. Our only complaint was that it was very loud. It was difficult to talk to each other. Another issue was the attire of guests of at least 5 tables. If you read the homepage of the restaurant, it requires that you are dressed up properly. We totally understand that you have to deal with mass tourism in this city. However, if you require the guests not to dine in t-shirts or shorts, you need to let them know at the entrance that this is not a McDonald’s.

Great food.

By LostInTime |

I went here for dinner. The server was a delight. I had the bruschetta which was great. The shrimp cocktail was also quite good. I ordered the pasta and lobster and it was prefect. A nice place.

Don’t waste you money

By barbara m |

Unfortunately I shall confirm that this restaurant has the worst food I’ve tried in Las Vegas (among those of the nicest resorts). The burrata has no taste and the rest of the food was really poor quality. Please don’t call it Italian! Italian food and products are completely different…

Excellent

By Therese P |

The service was top notch here. Our server was very attentive and wanted to make sure everything was perfect. We had a table where we would see the fountains. I had caprese salad, seafood risotto, and ricotta cheesecake. Excellent all around - highly recommend.

Mixed

By GiseppeGord |

We don't mind high prices for great value and high quality cuisine. Lago does not deliver. We had a reservation for 8:15 and were seated close to our time. Our table had a nice view of the fountains. Before dinner we sat in the lounge area and ordered a martini. $33 for one Tito's martini. My wife and I split a Branzino filet. Three very small pieces. Average. We each ordered a glass of wine ($25 each). Wait person was reasonably attentive but clearly not interested. Overall, we chalked up the evening as a good experience. Would not return.

Delicious Food

By Cassandra L |

First time here, and I’d go back for the food alone. The views are stunning, of course. My friends and I enjoyed the fountain show while dining. I loved the vegetable soup and the pici bolognese. One of the best I’ve ever had. Our server, Mickey, was excellent. The only drawback is that it’s quite loud. We had to shout at each other to be heard.

Lago Las Vegas

Stopped in for an appetizer and a drink and Marco was awesome! Both his drink and appetizer recommendations were spot on. His menu and drink knowledge was impressive. He definitely made our stop here over the top!

a culinary experience of excellence with the best view of the Bellagio fountains

By Gabriel B |

a culinary experience of excellence, with a good selection of wines, and the best view of the Bellagio fountains, delivery both for couples or family meals and business

Good service and food

By Christine H |

Four of us had dinner here before going to see O. The Lago salad was good and the branzino was excellent. The special was a seafood risotto with lobster and crab which was so good. The service was great and took into account that we were seeing a show so we would not be late.

Disappointed

By Emilie K |

My husband and I went for dinner on the first night of our honeymoon. To say we were less than impressed for what we paid is an understatement. I would say the one positive is that we were seated quickly and we did get a good view of the fountains. The service was okay. Everything was taken care of and plates were cleared quickly, but it wasn’t a super feel good experience. As far as the food, we don’t know if we are Spoiled with the great Italian food we have on the Hill in St. Louis, or if this was just bad, but bottom line we were not impressed. We started with scallops to share, which were pretty basic. My husband got the lasagna and I got the Caesar pasta, neither of which tasted fresh and/or comparable to what we’ve had before. We also ordered garlic bread to with our entrees which was just okay. I ordered the Lago cocktail which was decent. If you’re looking for somewhere to sit down and watch the fountains, this might be a good place for you, but for the $200 we spent I’d rather eat somewhere else and sit in front of the Bellagio to watch.

Delicious Seafood

By Mrs.Latrika |

We were not expecting the food to be this good, but it was superb. We had the seafood grill and it was amazing. The risotto is absolutely delicious. We will certainly be back!

Not worth it

By Emjamo |

Paid to guarantee a patio fountain view table - however only saw two fountain shows as they cancelled the rest due to ‘wind’. I’d have been pretty fed up if we’d not seen any like some other groups! The patio is not covered so it does get cold and the water from the fountains wets the tables (and food!) . I really wouldn’t recommend paying the premium to sit there as the inside of the restaurant looks far more comfortable. Food was ok- nothing special at all - ribeye was very fatty and the food was lukewarm. Staff great but a pricey meal and not the best we’ve had at all. I really wouldn’t recommend a visit as there are better places to watch the fountains .

Incredible food and service was excellent

By Ste Smith |

As it was lunch we had to sit at the bar for some reason however glad we did, people did queue but I’m not complaining as it took nothing away from visit. Food was so good, me and my wife shared a pizza, chicken parmo and chips, perfect amount.. couldn’t say a bad thing about the food.. I see previous reviews about food dry and ages for food to arrive but ignore them, the food and time of order to arrival was not long at all.. The servers, sadly I did not get their name, it could be Eric .. it may not haha did overhear him say that name, really nice and not over the top and had a bit of humour to him.. checked on us regularly and made sure if we wanted more food and drinks, had conversation with him, was really nice and informative. Think we paid around £120-140 including tip that is in total, we also had a desert and coupe drinks each, would definitely recommend and go again if I had the chance. Don’t let other people’s experience put you off!

Beautiful View and Great Food

By Trophy Food Experiences |

This is an Italian eatery inside the Bellagio hotel. In the main dining room, you get an amazing view of the Bellagio fountains (every 30 minutes between 3-7 pm, every 15 minutes between 7 - midnight). The view of the fountains in spectacular! Food is also very good and in my opinion authentic. We had some carpaccio, some agnolotti and 2 traditional Italian desserts. Service was friendly and it had a great vibe. Definitely would recommend

Fantastic Dinner & View

By Lesley R |

Had the best seafood risotto ever! Huge servings, could of shared and of course we had a table where we could view the fountains at Bellagio, which was really a nice touch. Great ambiance! Highly recommend!

Avoid , just avoid

By Arcady12 |

While the view of the fountain was lovely and added to the ambiance, unfortunately, the food did not live up to expectations. The pizza we ordered was honestly one of the worst I’ve had in years. The cheese slid right off, the crust was soggy, and the entire thing was drenched in sauce — it felt more like tomato soup than pizza. Visually it looked fine, but the texture and flavor were completely off. Very disappointing. We also tried the octopus dish, which was just as bad. The octopus was rubbery, poorly seasoned, and lacked any real flavor. It tasted like something reheated from frozen rather than freshly cooked. With so many truly excellent restaurants in Las Vegas, there is absolutely no reason to waste time or money here. This place should be avoided at all costs.

Not sure what the hype is about

By Dominika K |

not impressed. rude staff. too much decoration on the food and lack of flavor and food itself. Was very excited to try with my significant other but left feeling emptier than when we first walked in.

The best brunch with a magical Bellagio fountain view

By Sarah B |

This is truly one of the best spots in Vegas for combined ambience, service and food. We had booked about a week in advance after cancelling at mon ami gabi due to the grandstands being in the way of the bellagio fountains. I had politely requested a table with a view of the fountains if at all possible and boy did they deliver! We had a patio seat in the warm november air and the fountains started at midday, right on our booking time. It was magical. The service was just right, friendly but top end and our food was perfect - lasagne and garlic bread and the lobster Benedict. Desserts were beautifully presented and delicious and the cocktails and beer just lovely. A place that could so easily rest on its view and not try at all - but delightfully it delivers on every single level. Highly recommend!

AMAZING begining to end

By Ole3 |

We went to Lago for lunch after taking in the Bellagio's garden room. Lago seated us at promptly at our reservation time. The waitstaff was very attentive. He offered suggestions on wine pairing and meals. Our water glasses were never empty nor his confirmation on whether we wanted any additional drinks refilled. The food was excellent and perfect portions for lunch. The atmosphere was amazing. The fountains 'danced' just in front of the seating area. For lunch I had the Branzino; which had crisp skin and soft flesh and the lettuce and side was great - the sides were listed as Romanesco Puree and Salsa Verde. My friend had Seafood linguini, and OMG! I have never in the past been a big fan of seafood pasta combos, but that was amazing. Major entrée envy - even though the fish was amazing too :-) For dessert we split an Olive Oil cake. It was delicious and moist; and the roasted grapes inside added the perfect amount of sweetness. Even their coffee was great. I expected a degree of 'sludge' since we were the last seating before the lunch time closing, but it was fresh and a perfect ending to the meal.

Disappointing, mediocre food and unclean

By meadbh |

Disappointed with my experience in this restaurant. Food was mediocre at best, scallops were not nice, seafood risotto was just OK with prawns overdone. Service was not great, toilet floor and walls were very dirty, and the amount of chewing gum stuck to the underneath of our table was disgusting (and it had been there a while). With the prices they charge, I would have hoped for, at the very least, a clean restaurant with very good food.

Family Holidays

By Bach1972 |

The waiter's deal was nothing cuts, we were 3 people and brought 2 dishes together and the other 15 minutes later that prevented us from enjoying the food as we expected. It could have been a better experience but if whoever attends to you from start to finish does it wrong that is very demotivating

Gorgeous

This place was spectacular from food to staff. Everything was super fresh and quick. Our server Sergio I think his name was, was great such a lovely guy! Thanks

Super Fresh Seafood 🦞 🦀

By jessbelievetravelgo |

If you like super fresh seafood (apparently it’s flown in daily, and you can definitely taste the freshness) prepared deliciously, all while having front row views of the Bellagio fountains, this is the place for you. We enjoyed every minute of our experience!

Lago at Bellagio – Where High Hopes Go to Die

By Ryan |

If you’re looking to spend your special evening surrounded by grown men in golf shorts, toddlers in strollers gnawing on pepperoni pizza, and a vibe that screams “food court with a view,” then congratulations—you’ve found your paradise in Lago. We made reservations a month in advance, specifically requesting a table with a fountain view for a milestone birthday. We dressed to the nines, expecting an upscale experience fitting of the Bellagio name. What we got instead felt more like a chaotic theme park dining hall than fine dining. The greeters were apathetic, borderline rude, and seemed genuinely annoyed that we dared to show up for our reservation. There was no warmth, no welcome—just eye-rolls and a general air of disinterest. Despite the hype, the ambiance was anything but sophisticated. Think loud kids, flip-flops, and pepperoni pizza slices that seemed completely off-menu but somehow still made it to nearly every table. After surveying the scene and experiencing the complete lack of hospitality, we walked out. When Denny’s on the Strip starts looking like the better option, you know something’s seriously wrong. If you’re craving a classy, memorable dining experience in Las Vegas—skip Lago. Unless your idea of elegance includes crying toddlers, polyester shorts, and disinterested staff, spend your time (and money)

Location great - food meh.

By Wendy N |

Eddy was a good server - as good as he could be under the circumstances- all serving staff seemed run off their feet (understaffed?). Food was very meh. We had ceaser salad and rigatoni. Location over looking the fountain was amazing (we had the best seat in the house - did reserve months ago). Restaurant is very loud.

Great view of Bellagio fountain

By PaigeT |

Nice restaurant with great view of Bellagio fountain. Good selection of food and dessert. Good restaurant to celebrate special occasions.

Disappointing experience at lago Bellagio for my husbands 50 birthday

By Dr Ana |

For my husband's 50th birthday, we made a special reservation at Lago. Unfortunately, our experience fell short of expectations. Due to the ongoing construction in Vegas, we arrived at the exact time our grace period was set to end at 2:45 PM. Despite the restaurant being visibly empty, the manager refused to seat us, citing our one-minute delay. This was particularly disappointing as we had traveled all the way from Miami, a city renowned for its exceptional customer service and culinary delights. The manager's approach was notably lacking in basic customer service, leaving a sour note on what should have been a celebratory occasion. Thankfully, staying at the Aria provided us with numerous other dining options, where the customer experience was notably superior. It's unfortunate that our experience at Lago did not meet the same standard of hospitality we've come to appreciate elsewhere."

Disappointing Dinner Experience at Lago

By 523sandrao |

Our bad for not having a reservation for dinner on a busy summer evening. Maybe with a reservation we could have had a better experience at Lago. We arrived around 7:45 pm and they finally worked us in after a 30 minute wait. The staff was attentive and the food (bruschetta, Lago salad, mushroom risotto, and wine) was lovely. Unfortunately, the atmosphere was awful. There were at least three large groups of drunken bachelorettes who were screeching, laughing, and yelling so loudly that we literally could not carry on a conversation with each other. The staff seemed to believe that their behavior had to be tolerated but I assure you that 30 drunk women absolutely ruined the ambiance for everyone else in the entire restaurant. It’s your job to cut off drunkards and maintain decorum, Lago. Instead, we may as well have been at a UNLV frat/sorority party.

Can’t beat the views

By Layover_Lifestyle |

Make a reservation and get a table on the rail by the lake for the fountains. Absolutely spectacular. Food is pretty good too. Nice cocktails. Buratta and veal dishes were standouts. Scallops were bland. Pizza was decent. But well worth it overall for the view.

Excellent from start to finish!

By AJ S |

Outstanding. My wife and I were seated on the glass, best view/table in the house. All tables have pretty good views though. Marcello our waiter was super, so attentive and personable, thank you! My wife got the veal, I got a whole lobster, food was delish. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. Prices are high, but but not as bad as other high end restaurants. for the quality, it's worth it. Highly recommend.

Fresh shaved truffles!!

By Ultimate Foodie |

What an amazing dinner we had at Lago. We sat at a window table with an amazing view of the Eiffel Tower and the fountains at Bellagio. Nice way to start the evening. We started with a nice 2018 bottle of Brunello di Montalcino. We ordered the corn & basil soup with chunks of Alaskan King crab. What a treat! The soup was a one-of-a-kind specialty. We enjoyed every bite. I was ecstatic to learn they had fresh truffles. I ordered the fresh truffle pappardelle pasta in cream sauce. It was to die for! Best meal I have ever had in Las Vegas. Hubby had the lamb pappardelle bolognese. He thoroughly enjoyed it! For dessert we had my favorite pistachio gelato. I felt like we were eating in Italy. Lago is hands down my favorite restaurant in Las Vegas. We will definitely be back.

Coastal Italian Dining in the Bellagio

By Traveler10000000000 |

Coastal Italian so more seafood choices than a standard Italian restaurant. The menu is small but we found plenty of choices everyone liked. the service was great and the food which was all delicious came out pretty fast. The restaurant has a direct view of the bellagio fountains with some patio tables available.

Beautiful

By Hannah C |

Amazing it was my 24th anniversary and I asked for a table near the fountain which I know is difficult but the staff did that for us to the cocktails to the food was incredible a night in Las Vegas I won’t forget thankyou so romantic x

You will spend a lot of money

By Agne J |

The food and cocktails are good, I wanted them to be fantastic for the price. Starters to share: 2 small scallops for $30… come on! The fish dish was great. I bit pretentious of a place.

Great place and great view.

By Apples |

Went to Lago for my birthday meal with another couple. Staff all friendly and attentive. Food was good with decent size portions, gelato was amazing.

Food is not good.

By Sannewallace |

This place can’t even do a tasty meatball pasta. Overcooked spaghetti in tomato sauce. The sea food is an absolute no go. It’s pretentious and the food is not good. Some tasty wines in the menu and the staff is friendly, but they need to sort the kitchen out. Go to yellow tail next door! That place is fantastic.

A great setting but everything else just ok.

By Cen W |

Late lunch was ok. Seated close to the window so with a view of the spectacular water feature. Food wasn't really a match for the setting...not poor just nothing special... Seated for 1430pm and were advised we had to pay the cheque at 1535pm. Felt rushed. You can expect to spend $100 pp for a 2 course meal with a glass of wine.

Bellissimo

By Phil U |

Sensational food. Excellent attentive and caring waiting staff. Right next to the fountains at Bellagio. This is top tier Italian dining. Expect to pay for that. It’s pricey but it’s worth it. Massive wine list. Excellent range of beers and spirits. Be sure to ask to be seated on the balcony when booking, for a stunning view of the fountains.

Bellagio Fountains Brunch at Lago

By GARY W |

The atmosphere and location were magical! Located in the Bellagio Hotel in Las Vegas. The Lago gives you the view from behind the Bellagio Fountains over looking the lagoon. The Eiffel Tower and Ol Red becomes your background. Very romantic and really geared for couples and friends for an intimate setting. The food is exceptional as well as the service.

Despite the great view, not remotely worth the cost

By ardentadventurer |

Even for the Bellagio, and even with the splendid view of the fountains from the front of the restaurant, Lago is not worth the exorbitant prices for only so-so food. My clam linguine was the best of the four items we ordered, and the portion was generous enough, unlike the other items, but even it was too bland. My dining partner had the truffle lasagna, which was maybe 5" x 5" and a quarter-inch thick. Both of these dishes were on the less expensive side for a small main course at about $35 each, and we shared a side of roasted asparagus which was tasty and not overdone, but $18 for eight thin spears. The most disappointing item was the tiny piece of cheesecake for dessert, which was as ordinary as it comes. It was described as Italian cheesecake made with ricotta, but in no way did it resemble the authentic Italian cheesecake I've had in New York City or Boston. Red wine by the glass started at $21 for a modest pour, and cocktails averaged $25! Not even complimentary bread and garlic butter — that would cost an extra $11. The restaurant was also terribly noisy--it was very hard to carry on a conversation above the din. On the upside, service was pleasant and prompt. I would not return, however. If I'm going to spend this much, the food should be worthy.

Fantastic fountain view meal

By Andie_Grace |

We reserved at Lago for my birthday so I could have that 5 star fountain view restaurant experience, and we were not disappointed. We were seated inside, but next to the window so we could watch the show (we added a reservation note that it was my bday). While a bit on the expensive side, it’s a bit more doable than some of the other neighboring restaurants since the plates are designed to be smaller. We ordered an appetizer which was delicious, and I ordered the salmon, which was the best tasting salmon that I can remember having in my life. For dessert we ordered the chocolate cake which they decorated for me nicely with birthday additions. The service was very good as well. All around a great dinner.

Great food with an amazing view.

By Aman |

Loved our dining experience here. The food is great, we had a pizza, pasta and then a banana pancake (just wow) Service was good, they are bit hesitant to the give the table right next to the window, I’m not sure why. But overall it’s a wonderful dining experience.

Overpriced, poor service, so-so food. Would not return or recommend.

By Dan |

Arrived just on time, 2-minutes late at most, for our reservation. The host then immediately struggled to find our reservation on the system and quite rudely asked for my name again. Once our reservation was found I was offered no apology and we were asked to take a seat in the waiting area. We waited for around 15-20 minutes for our table, despite having a reservation, and weren’t offered a drink during our wait. The bar was full of seating and there was no space for us to go and get a drink ourselves. As a side note, it was disheartening and disappointing to see that the dress code was not upheld in any way, I felt almost out of place given how casual everyone else was dressed. When we were taken to our table we were seated at a table for 4 nowhere near the view of the fountains, which had been available the whole time whilst waiting, this was quite frustrating. I had noticed two couples leave during our wait and, though I appreciate seats with a view can’t be guaranteed, I see no reason we weren’t at least offered one of these tables for two rather than a 4 top. Again, this was frustrating and disappointing. Once seated, we were offered a drink list on a tablet but as we don’t drink alcohol we’re disappointed to see no mocktails on offer so settled for water and a Diet Coke. My wife suggested we leave at this point given our frustrations so far, but I chose to stay and regret that decision in all honesty. We found the waiter rude and unattentive just like the host. Our food arrived alarming quickly once we’d ordered and I just felt rushed to eat and get out, which in the end is just what we did. The food was ok, certainly not worth the $90+ bill. There’s better food at cheaper prices almost everywhere else, I felt they were charging for the location which we didn’t even get the benefit of given the table we had. We spent around 50 minutes in total at the restaurant, 30 of which at our table, I’ve spent longer in McDonalds. Given the incredibly disappointing service, poor seating, rushed and mid-range food we did not leave a tip as we didn’t not feel one was justified. We almost always tip, certainly when visiting the US as we’re aware of the tipping culture here, but felt we simply could not do so on this occasion. I hope this helps highlight just how poor we found the experience. Overall we were very disappointed in all aspects of our visit and would not return, nor recommend, Lago at the Bellagio to anyone. There are much better options in Las Vegas.
