I had breakfast here after staying at the Radisson where it was located. Not bad - large room, very pleasant view of a small lake from the widow tables. Service friendly, food not bad (but a New Yorker should he's going to have to search a bit harder for a decent bagel in Portland!)

We ate here because of the location, but came back because of the amazing food. Great value, great service and took advantage of eating both inside and then outside when the weather was good. Beautiful lake with lots of ducks to watch. Great experience and would recommend highly.

The buffet was reasonably priced for hotel fare. $12 for breakfast . Treat yourself for a quick breakfast of scrambled eggs and other fare. Coffee was also good.

Let me preface this by saying we LOVE their food and room service. Very tasty and staff always great. However, we were disappointed last night when we went to the restaurant. It was crowded, I get that, but we were passed over several times for guests arriving after us. We had to ask for water refills, our one order was "forgotten", and it was just disappointing. I hope they take this as constructive criticism and treat all guests equally.

Connected to the Raddison, the food here is really good chicken Chili is the best as is the pizza and flat iron steak. Super friendly and attentive staff my only issue was the last visit they forgot to take my free appetizer and first 2 drinks off of my bill. Not the end of the world I forgot also but they took the card at the bar and forgot to adjust the bill.

We opted to eat our last meal in Oregon here as it was close to our hotel. We sat outside and enjoyed the views. Service was extremely slow, so my husband got our drinks at the bar. Had to ask for the table to be wiped down, which seemed to annoy the waiter. The food was average, service was not up to par. the best thing about this restaurant are the views and the breezes from the lake.

great view, great food, great staff, very enjoyable way to start and end my day, thank you your support was appreciated

Excellent food and service. Great outside cafe ambiance. Happy hour menu was varied and inviting. We will be back. Great to await arriving flights.

Love to stay here whenever we have an early morning flight. Their shuttle service is great, on time, efficient and with friendly drivers -- even at 3:45 am.

Waiter very helpful. Food was very good. Service was great. Have also had good meals in the restaurant.

Great bar, great service and good food. Overlooking a lake so close to an airport just makes you feel very refreshed and relaxed. The staff were extremely helpful and very attentive. Good selection of food and drinks available, at reasonable prices.

We dined here for happy hour and breakfast. Fresh offerings, good variety. I was able to find many GF options. Service was a little slow during HH one time, but we weren't in a rush.

Good casual dinner experience. My wife had the Chicken Pasta dishes and I had a Pepperoni Pizza. Both were great and left us well satisfied. Service was better than average. It was very convenient to the hotel we stayed in.

Limited menu but several good GF choices for my daughter with Ciliac disesase. food was good and service great.

Great service and very good food. I eat out A LOT! In so many hotel restaurants I find food that make cardboard taste great. Not so here! Every appetizer and entree I've had here has been very good, nicely plated and served hot. That's saying a lot in itself. Add to that the wonderful friendly servers and that covers it all.

Excellent food and service Wayde was a great waiter and the happy hour prices and food made a real bargain for an early dinner.

Here on business. We ate breakfast and a lunch here. Very friendly and accommodating our dietary needs. Great breakfast and yummy burger. Didn't get to have dinner here though. I would come back if staying here in hotel again

Thai pasta and the fish & chips were good. The BBQ cheeseburger not so - the burger topped with two massive deep-fried onion rings which were then filled with a mediocre BBQ sauce. Location and service were good but I'll continue to look for better food close to PDX.

Quick overnight stay at the Radisson hotel here by the airport before heading to Bend in the morning. Ahi tuna was superb!

This small restaurant is inside the Radisson Hotel Portland Airport. The ambiance is great and we were encourage to pick out our on table. The server was perfect. Engaging but not intrusive to our 3experience. The menu is limited. I suspect that the pandemic had a huge impact on staff and changes to menu. I had a cheeseburger and fries. The bar in the same room as the dinning area is well stocked. Prices were different on both of my visits. Both visits I had the same drink and yet there was a two dollar difference in price. A couple of local micro-brews on tap made for a nice choice. I want to compliment the server/bartender who worked the closing shift on January 13th. My goodness she was great. She was waiting tables, creating drinks, and delivering drinks and meals with no additional help but the cook in the kitchen.

We had a group of 9 staying for 3 nights, so we were able to totally enjoy dining in the Lakeside Bar & Grill which overlooks a wildlife pond. Our meals were good -- and they offered a good variety with something for everyone! I highly recommended stopping in for a meal - whether for a meeting or just for a quiet dinner with a loved one or friend. Staff was wonderful.

We have eaten here twice and it was always great. Bianca was our serve, very friendly & welcoming. Will definitely stop again when in Portland.

It was a pleasant surprise to find such good food in a hotel restaurant. The service wasn't very good that day because it was really crowded (the night after the 2017 eclipse), but it's somewhat understandable. We still got served fairly quickly and the food was really delicious.

Fair pricing with good choices super easy since we didn't feel like tackling more driving or worry about traffic. We could have Uber or Lyft but the restaurant is very comfortable

This restaurant offers a great selection of choices from the menu. You will not be let down. As I have been staying there quite a while, I have gotten to try almost everything they have.

Ordered carryout while staying at the hotel. Came packaged well, food was good quality, ample servings, great folks working at the restaurant!

I had their chicken wrap and it was very reasonably priced and delicious! The bartenders were friendly each time I went in. Twice before I left for my trip and once when I returned.

This restaurant was very good! What is amazing about that is this restaurant is located inside of hotel and this isn't even Las Vegas. The steak I had was seasoned and cooked to perfection. The service was friendly and quick. The price was very reasonable given the amount of food that I received.

A convenient place to unwind. Hotel packages include two beverages and an appetizer for happy hour. Buffet breakfast in the morning. Steak was well prepared, done as requested.

My favorite meal of the day especially when traveling on business and this may usually be the only meal I have time for. This buffet is fantastic not just for abundance but for quality food as well! Fluffy scrambled eggs from real eggs, meats of various types, home fries blended with onion, peppers and at times sausage pieces, waffles you make yourself, abundant fresh fruit, cereals breads and so much more for $12. Great service and ambiance and all you can ( or should) eat. Great that it is in my hotel, Radisson, but worth traveling to.

We had low expectations before dining at the Raddison Hotel's own restaurant. What a delightful surprise. Cooked to order dishes, well prepared, variety and extensive menu. We could not have been happier. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes and service was very quick. I had the Thai peanut noodle dish which was excellent and quite spicy. I added grilled chicken which was freshly prepared and delicious. My husband had the grilled salmon which came with garlic mashed potatoes and some wonderfully fresh (seasonal) asparagus which was also grilled. We really enjoyed our meal here and would highly recommend this place

I started with a cup of the made from scratch tomato bisque! It was amazing. I had the Orange chicken next and it was good but the chicken was a tad dry and, try as I might, I couldn’t find the orange in any bite. However, I firmly recommend this as a nice way to pass the time and have good food in the process!

I recently had dinner here with my family after a long day touring the Columbia River Gorge. We chose Lakeside based on the reviews we read on TripAdvisor, and at the end of the day we were quite happy we did so. It wasn't easy to find, our navigation system sent us on a couple wild goose chases before we found it. The Radisson Hotel seems pretty fancy for an airport hotel, and we were slightly underwhelmed when we walked into the restaurant. Not to say it's not nice, but it definitely looks like an airport restaurant, not an upscale restaurant. The weather was nice, so we sat outside, and that was amazing. They have a nice lake view (ergo the name), and our server was fantastic. Several in my party had exceptions and clarifications with their orders, and our server noted it all without writing anything down. I had the shrimp caesar salad, it was all-around delicious. My wife had the veggie burger, which she thought was fantastic, and my kids had the fettucine alfredo and the grilled cheese which they both scarfed down quickly and enthusiastically. It may not look like much on the inside, but the outside looks nice, and the food was definitely above average.

The view of the pond with ducks and geese is an added bonus to this 'city' restaurant. Plenty of room and excellent service. Breakfast buffet was a great send off to our trip.

With a glass of Patron Silver and the calamari plate with onions, I was well-fed and a happy camper.

Grabbed a bite to eat coming straight from the airport since it was well reviewed. Good service was very quick, fish tacos and chicken Cesar salad were what we ate, and were good, but nothing to really wrote home about.

Had dinner here when we arrived at our hotel. The food was excellent. Server was very friendly. Rather low key restaurant bar area.

I do splurge on myself sometimes and come here for lunch since it is so close to my work. It is so quiet with a great view of the lake. Today there were baby ducks swimming around and the sun was shining. Nice relaxing lunch and very good service. Fast and friendly in 1 hour.

Our family stopped at the Lakeside Bar and Grill on our way out of Portland. The food was priced fairly and was tasty. They have a nice selection of beers wine and drinks. Having to fly early, it was a nice way to spend the evening.

This wonderful little restaurant is the bomb! I had a breakfast voucher, given to me because I was stranded (kudos to the Radisson!) and enjoyed a great breakfast! Bianca, the hostess/waitress/all-around beautiful human being, is such a joy! She made everybody in the restaurant feel like he/she was number one! The food was excellent (hot!) - the Hampton could take a lesson from Lakeside! Awesome!

Great meal in a nice setting overlooking a lake. Don't be in a hurry, though. Service was congenial, just a little slow.

Walking distance from Home2 Suites and Red Lion. Menu was very limited, but food overall was good. Great service from our waitress.

I'm kind of a scrambled egg snob, it is rare for me to find a restaurant that actually knows how to make light, fluffy, not over cooked scrambled eggs. This restaurant nailed it! Excellent eggs. I loved their Tomato Basil soup. We also tried the Beet salad, pizza, and hamburger. All were way above what I expected in a hotel restaurant. If I lived in the Portland area, this would be one of go to restaurant. Wait staff was very attentive and kind.

This was a lovely happy restaurant, great traveller food, what on earth have they done? The menu is so random and the quality is terrible. We ordered a full rack of rubs, it came as 2 completely different halves, one black on the back, the other as it should be, but they were cold. When they came back they tasted like lighterfuel! The waitress had to do all the jobs, which is a shame, but she did not do it happily, we miss the usual staff we have seen for our previous 3 annual birthday Pendleton trips.

Great food, their hamburger is one of the best, they cook your patty the way you ask for it. Breakfast is also good with lots of choices.

Our entire family enjoyed the selection at the restaurant! Everything we tried was delicious...great beer selection too!

Stayed in the radisson this restaurant is attached to at the beginning of our trip. Bad breakfast experience almost caused us to avoid it at the end of the trip when we returned. Gave it a try for dinner. The pizza was quite good- clearly made to order. Glad we gave it a second chance!

service from Debora once again great .food exceptional .clean and food was hot and delicious.Debora stays right on top of the service .

Great service by Griffin. He was thorough work taking my order and quick to respond to my questions about he choices i made. The white bean chili was excellent and worth a second cup. I should have ordered the bowl. Cobb salad was a compliment to the white bean chilli that hit the spot.

Restaurant was busy but service and food was good. Fish tacos were yummy. Nice stop for dinner before catching an early morning flight.

I've never been disappointed by the food, the service, the ambiance nor the atmosphere. I love having a cafe in a hotel so you don't have to go out in bad weather. I recommend the fish tacos, the chicken parm and anything on the happy hour menu. They even accommodate non alcohol drinkers for qualifying for the happy hour food. They serve good, fresh food. I never got tired of the menu.

We had a very nice dinner at the Lakeside. We were seated on the patio despite the posted closing of it due to the late summer bee population. It was a great setting and each of our meals was very good. The service was excellent, as she wasWorking alone that evening. Prices were higher than I expected for the three of us, but not out of sight.

The menu choices were sad. The food was mediocre. The server while trying her best was lacking. This was truly a very lacking experience. I had to eat there as there are NO close by alternatives unless you book the shuttle to airport, hope on their local public transportation and go somewhere else. DO THAT. You want regret it.

We had a fine meal, good beer and our waiter was efficient and a good conversationalist. After a couple of long flights it was a nice convenience to be able to sit, have a nice meal, watch the ducks swimming in the lake and then retiring for the evening.

This restaurant is a pleasant surprise in a sea of Park N' Fly hotels and the restaurants they provide. We always start our flights from the Radisson and the Lakeside serves quality food, at reasonable prices, right in the hotel.

First of all the Lakeside Grill is on a “lake” that looks more like a pond full of scum than a lake. But that view was not the problem. I ordered the artisan pizza. It was definitely NOT an artisan pizza. It was a pre-made crust full of sour sauce with cheese and meat that was barely attached. The cheese under the meat was not even melted all the way and the meats on top were just warm. It was hardly edible. I’m still grimacing when I think of the piece that I did eat. It was a full plate of pizza, but was so bad it all went to waste. Yuck. I’d rather have a small 6 inch pizza with real handmade crust than this thing they call an artisan pizza. So disappointed.

Love this hotel and, usually, service is good or excellent in restaurant; but not tonight. Beverage ordered w dinner never came. Bartender delivered my dinner then got my beverage. Waiter came by no less than at 20 minute intervals. Room half empty. His comment: ‘I have all these tables”. He had ten; and there was another waiter assisting the same tables????? Sorry Griffin, you should be as good as the rest of the staff here. Again, service is usually good or excellent......

Good food , good service. Brenda and Debora rock. Cocktails and outside patio in its own private setting.

We dined here while staying here on our last night in Oregon. I wasn't expecting too much since it's inside the hotel. We were floored by how fantastic this food was. We ordered the seasonal watermelon feta salad which was a house specialty and had them split it into two portions for mom and I to share as an appetizer. This was absolutely fantastic. The greens were happily not boring flavorless iceberg lettuce. This had huge cubes of both watermelon and feta cheese. It also had pistachios and the most wonderful vinaigrette dressing. This had a little bite to the dressing and it got your taste buds' attention for sure and then the cool watermelon and creamy salty feta complimented it so well. We devoured every bit of it. Even though it was split into two bowls. the portions were generous and looked to be full sized. We both ordered a sandwich and that was phenomenal as well. Memorable. Impressionable. To the point where over a week later, it is still one of the highlights of our vacation. The sandwich was gourmet and generously portioned. The only problem I encountered was the sliced avocado causing it to slip and slide and making eating difficult. The meat was not processed luncheon meat. No, this was quality whole muscle meat and it was great. This entire meal was reasonably priced and definitely unforgettable. This was the meal that ended our trip to Oregon and it was memorable indeed. Don't miss this gem hidden away in the airport hotel. Excellent food is here.

From 4-6 we enjoyed a happy hours dinner of a great burger and a tuna salad with Oregon Pinot Noir for a very good price.

We often stay at the Radisson prior to an early morning flight out of PDX. The wait staff at their restaurant are veterans, they hustle, and everyone pitches in to provide patrons with great service. The fare is basic, but always tasty and well-presented. Thank you, Radisson!

The food was great. I ate at the breakfast bar. No hash browns though. The eggs were real, not powder. The expression machine actually worked. Refeshing. Bianca was my server. A very nice lady. Very relaxing meal.

they had all the usual hotel buffet things, plus stuff to order. the scrambled eggs were nice as was the fruit salad. the waitstaff were warm and attentive. the price for the buffet was $12.

We loved our meal and the service we received at the restaurant. The server was a gem! she split a salad for us without hesitation and was very attentive. The food was great!

The patio overlooks a small pond, which would have been nice except someone was doing work on the building (over the lunch hour?) and running a very noisy engine. So we had to eat inside. The food was pretty good, for a hotel restaurant but the service was very, very slow. Because of the wait, though, our meal was comped. Nice!

Service is excellent. Food was very good....better than expected. Great prices. I will be back for more.

Good food at affordable prices during happy hour. Friendly and efficient service. Convenient place to eat the night before flying from PDX.

Loved the burger. The waiter was very attentive. We asked for a recommendation for dessert. He suggested the apple tart. Amazing! Have the tart even if you are full from dinner. So glad we didn't leave the Radisson to go somewhere else to eat.

We had appetizers the first night during Happy hour. The quesadillas were really good and also had a late dinner on our return flight. The grilled caesar salad was great.

Have stayed in many airport hotels and the restaurant is never usually great but this one at the Radisson is very good and a great meal at happy hour prices. Fish was excellent, desserts were less good so I would pass on these. Very efficient service.

Happy to have a restaurant onsite, and we enjoyed the choices we made - corn bread, brussel sprouts, chicken tenders, chicken/ceasar salad. Larger than expected servings - enough that we took some back to our room for the next day. Great wait staff - enthusiastic and prompt. Socially-distanced booths and nice view of the water.

Spending our last night of holidays at the portland airport, this restaurant looked nicer than the usual hotel-chain-grill (picture next to a lake ! yay !) So ... we sat outside, next to a little pond. The menu was not extensive but the food we had was excellent (steak for me, salmon for my wife) and the waiters were kind enough to replace some foods on the plates (we are following a low-carb lifestyle) by real vegetables. Very good local oregon wine too.

The Food was great. Being from New Orlean. I have to say i really enjoyed the food and the people. The salmon tacos were great and the pizza. And every thing i tried. You wont be dissatisfied.***************************************************************************

Wait staff seemed harried - certainly impatient. Typical American fare - nothing innovative or Northwestern in selections or flavor. Breakfast buffet quite limited and not that tasty. Eat instead at the airport.

Stayed at this hotel when flying out. Was tired so decided not to go out to find something to eat. Went into the restaurant, nice and quiet, had a great menu, and ended up choosing pizza and salad. Had a great bar. Staff was friendly and prompt.

Located inside Radisson at PDX, the restaurant has a little bit of everything to please any taste and good service. Our go to items are fish tacos, nachos, ahi tuna, and calamari though we have had many off the other items as well. We usually have the breakfast buffet if we have time in the morning. There is a good happy hour if you arrive between 4-6 pm, and all items as well as drinks are available for room service or to take back to your room (room have fridge/micros for leftovers). I recommend staying away from the pizzas though, they tend to be on the "crispy" side.

Sort of a diner feel to it, but the food was really good and the service was fantastic! We had fish tacos at an outside table. "Lakeside" is a bit of a stretch; it was more of a small algae covered bay of the lake with a view of the backyards of homes a hundred yards away. But the sun was shining, a gentle breeze was blowing, and our server was very attentive

For dinner, you can't go wrong with the seared ahi! It's a great dish with a refreshing cucumber side dish. They have a breakfast buffet that includes two types of meat and it's a bargain. Enjoy!

Good food options including for vegetarians. Loved the experience! Bar staff was really courteous and helpful. Restaurant has good location of the Lakeside and is quite relaxing. Wish it was during the NFL season!

Stopped in to check it out the place was friendly. The staff was helpful all was good. The beer was awesome. We hope to return.

Happy hour is always a pleasure at this bar and grill. Reasonable appetizers and entrees are delicious!

So fresh , filling and delicious. Great wait staff. It is nice to arrive and not have to leave again to eat.

Made dinner out of the yummy happy hour appetizers. The dinner menu looked great. Had breakfast there as well. We had the buffet but there was a good selection on the menu. Nice location.

We found this place after leaving the airport. We were starving after a long, early flight. We all had the burgers and fries, they were so juicy and perfect. Waitstaff was great, kept our drinks full. A great start to our trip, for sure.

My husband had the artisan pizza which he stated was very good. I had the tri tip steak it was cooked perfect. The service was spot on and the restaurant was very clean. Highly recommend for anyone.

It’s always a treat when you’re traveling and the hotel has a decent bar and restaurant. Lakeside was a real find. We decided to try their “Happy Hour” and we weren’t alone. It was quite popular. We ordered drinks and an appetizer at the bar and later decided to order dinner at the bar. The food was very good and the service was excellent.

Above average breakfast buffet and VERY attentive staff. We ate there each meal for 4 days and were never disappointed. Started to mention a favorite waitress, but that wouldn't be fair as they all were top notch.

Good dinner food, cold beer! The setting in the morning was nice to look out at the creek. My only complaint was the breakfast wasn't very good,,, average at best. The dinner was delicious! Great convenience - located right inside the hotel!

$12 breakfast buffet was a great value, and the views are really nice of the ducks playing in the lake (they stay until about 7:30 a.m.). Food was good, and service was very friendly and just great.

Enjoyed the breakfast buffet, eggs (two choices), bacon and link sausage, waffles and pastries and oatmeal. Very tasty!

On a rainy Valentine's Day my wife and I decided to have a 3 pm lunch at the Lakeside Bar & Grill since we were staying at the Hilton Garden Inn near the airport. Our server was the most excellent Sunny that we enjoyed getting to know. We had a couple of Martinis, a 12 inch Pepperoni Pizza and a Hop House Burger with cheese and bacon. The food was very good and the server Sunny was excellent. We'd definitely go there again and recommend you do too!

i had the pulled pork sandwich which was tasty although I wish the buns were a little harder.. I had some local beer as well.

The fish and chips weren't so great, and no one wanted to even try the Atlantic salmon. Salads were ok. The setting is nice and the view is good.

We ordered a variety of items - wings, calamari, fish tacos, salad, etc. All were good, but nothing outstanding. There is a full bar should you want a drink or 2.

Both the (buffet) breakfast as well as the dinner is great in this restaurant. Nice place, great food and friendly staff. Contrary to what we read on tripadvisor, there is great fresh fruit prepared for you at breakfast, which you may want to taste with greek yoghurt or a berry collection. Also dinner has great choices and tasted awesome. Would certainly recommend this place.

Great food & drinks whenever we have stayed there. The service is quick. Multiple things to choose from. One of the best deals is their breakfast buffet, it has so many selections to pick from, all reasonably priced.

Of our family group of four adults, three chose Wild Salmon and I had the steak. We all agreed this was an excellent meal. The restaurant overlooks a small lake. We watched as about seven ducks swam by.

We had the quesadilla and soup&salad. The salad with blue cheese and fruit was the best of the three. The white bean chicken chili was pasty and not very flavorful. The quesadilla was ok but despite having green chile, wasn't very flavorful. Service was excellent.

This restaurant is wonderful - a perfect match for the wonderful hotel! Gold Elite Club Carlson members receive complementary Buffet Breakfast and evening Appetizer + 2 free drinks. Makes for an awesome stay. The evening and morning wait staff remembered us - and Wayde, the bar attendant, called us by name. Incredible! Breakfast Buffet includes everything you could wish for. Great coffee + there's a latte machine if you prefer. Cloth napkins. Favorite dinner menu items: * Ahi Tuna (delish!) * Baby Spinach + Blueberry & Raspberry salad (with almonds, coconut & popyseed dressing. (yum!) * White Bean Chili with Chicken. (a real meal deal!) * Nachos with french fries instead of tortilla chips. (it's a meal!) * Hummus with fresh veggies. (also a full meal's worth) Tranquil lakeside view - always immaculate. Dining room tends to be a little cool; seating is warmer at tables away from the windows. Back corner is echo-y; it's quieter closer to the bar.

This restaurant inside the Radisson Airport Hotel is a pleasant place to dine while staying at the hotel. They have a modest menu with reasonable prices and the outdoor patio seating with lake view is very enjoyable.

The restaurant was very busy but we were served in just a short time. The food was good and the prices were reasonable.

Great value restaurant in the Radisson. Breakfast and dinner are good. Menu selections a little limited.

Part of the Radison Hotel this is the perfect compliment to a Park and Fly hotel. Open from six am until eleven pm it fits the food needs of almost every traveler. The food is good if a bit expensive, they offer something for almost every taste. In short it makes it easy to get a good meal in an area without many restaurants.

I had a typical dinner. Cheeseburger with fries it was very good. I also had dessert it was apple pie. That was soooooo very good.

We have eaten here several times while staying at the Radisson at PDX. It is a much better than you would expect from a hotel restaurant. The food is good, the atmosphere is nice and the service is very good. They also have a full service bar. I recommend this restaurant and hotel.

I've eaten here several times before and this time grabbing the pizza meal, which was quite tasty. The food here is a bit above average for a coffee shop type meal. On this occasion, I found the pizza to be very good, thin crust and very fresh tasting. very satisfying for dinner. The menu provides a nice variety of salads, sandwiches, and American fare. The prices for okay, considering the convenience of having a place to eat in the hotel site. Overall, better food than other hotel cafes I've dined at.

Nice view from patio. Great service and food. Hard to find. In the Raddison out by the portland airport. Use google or Waze or you will not find it. Worth the search.

The food was amazing! The staff was friendly and very helpful! Our server, Brenda, took excellent care of us. We had a group of twenty people and everyone was happy with their meal. The patio outside and the great atmosphere just added to our pleasant evening!

Part of the Radisson airport. Nice setting on a pond (with ducks and geese). We both had a steelhead special, with properly prepared fresh asparagus. Nice waitress who was excited to know we had visited a couple of her favorite vegan restaurants.

Having worked in a restaurant housed in a hotel before, I now realize that not all places are owned by the establishment they are housed in. The staff here is super friendly, food was quite good and the service is above par. I do have one CON to mention, however, there should be some notice that the breakfast is not included.

We sat by the window and enjoyed the view of the lake, watching ducks and other water fowl doing their spring dance. The food and the service was very good with lots of selections. We were tired from travel the first night so had a good dinner there without having to leave the hotel. They also serve breakfast which we enjoyed.

Terrible bar. The bartender didn’t know how to make a Manhattan. It sat full throughout my meal and no one ever asked if something was wrong. The service overall was as bad as it gets; inattentive and slow. The food was lackluster, but to be fair it is a hotel restaurant. Spend the money for an Uber and go somewhere else!

We ate there our 2nd night in Portland & our last night in Portland of a 10 day Oregon trip. It is at the Radisson Hotel by the Airport and just across from our Ramada Inn. We had chowder(only on Friday night) and pizza our first visit. Both were very good. Our friends split the burger and said it was very good. The 2nd night they didn't have chowder - it was a Sunday night. We settle for salads and the cod fish & chips baxket. It was good, but a little over fried. We ate outside and the area was quiet and peaceful. We stayed a long time relaxing & remembering our trip with our best friends. It was a nice ending to a great trip!

We would say that the Radisson/Lakeside Bar and Grill were a "nice surprise" hotel/dining experience! We will "definitely" stay there again when we fly out of PDX! Close to airport and staff is wonderful!! NO COMPLAINTS from us. Thank you! The Bergs

We always eat at the Lakeside Grill and bar. It ‘s a special treat that starts our vacations off with tradition! Our server Ryan is awesome.

It was a great deal to purchase the hotel upgrade ($30.) which provided us with 2 drinks and appetizers at dinner and then two breakfast buffets the next morning. Both were very good. The buffet offers a variety of options. There is both inside and outside seating. There is a lake....but not very attractive at this time of year. There is also a bar.

When checking in at the Radisson, I pre-paid for breakfast at the buffet. Glad I did! Saved $2 off the buffet price, and the breakfast was worth it. High quality food, good variety, and saved me tons of time in the morning. The staff are very friendly and they know who their repeat guests are, and why they're staying in the hotel. The view from the back of the restaurant is gorgeous, although calling it "Lakeside" is a big stretch -- it's more of a large pond. But it is a natural, protected wetlands area, with lots of wildlife to enjoy.

Since many restaurants serve large portions, we have started choosing dishes which can be shared. Our server was very accommodating and friendly. It was a nice, relaxing meal after a day on the road.

We only had breakfast here but it was very good. We decided on the breakfast buffet, which provided a nice variety of hot and cold selections. The only meat was kielbasa sausage, which seemed a bit unusual, but was still tasty. It is a nicely appointed and attractively designed restaurant with a lovely view of the small lake behind the hotel. You don't feel as though you are in the city. There is nice patio setting outside as well. We ate breakfast, lunch and dinner here two years ago and it was all very good. The menu has a nice variety and the happy hour offers both food and drink at a good price. We'll be back.

Great place at the Radisson Hotel. Good food at a reasonable price. So convenient for our trip. The staff was friendly and the food was good.

We were looking for lunch while waiting to check in at our hotel. The Lakeside Bar & Grill was around the corner. Food was great, reasonably priced, and the service was outstanding! Nice outdoor view.

Awesome food and atmosphere while romantic and the full feature bar was fantastic…enjoyed the lake view as well as the service.

We’ve stayed here several times, nice bar, good food, great happy hour. We like the Lakeside cheeseburger.

Being tired from a long travel day beginning my trip, I wanted something quick and easy without having to venture out once I arrived. I was pleased with the quality of the food and service provided. They also have a full bar so it was good to be able to finish the day with a cocktail to relax. The breakfast is also very good with a wide variety of choices including a buffet style breakfast. There is a small outdoor sitting area that overlooks a small pond which was great to be able to relax while I had dinner and breakfast.

Friendly staff; we were greeted with arm waves, even across the restaurant! We decided to sit away from a large, celebratory group sitting on one side. Cliff ordered a gin and tonic with Hendricks. At $11, I thought that excessive; most restaurants have other higher-end gins at a lower price. My wine was $9; somewhat typical. Started with sharing the beet salad; it came divided amongst two plates: nice, but not necessary. Would have been large for one person. Lots of greens; could have been more beets. Tasty, priced at $8. Cliff ordered the Lakeside pasta, which had chicken and shrimp at $19. He was pleased with this; I sampled it and enjoyed my tasting. I ordered the ahi ($13) and it was perfectly prepared. As an appetizer, it was an ample-sized portion, so I didn't need to order anything further. Now wish I had tried a dessert...there's always next time! We enjoyed the restaurant and would return.

From the great reviews, I expected more. Our meal was okay -- not bad, but not superlative, either. The "lake" setting was really a pond, with scum on it. Semi-attractive. It was a very warm day, so we wanted to sit outside It was pleasant enough except for the flying bugs around us. The high point was our server, who was very good.

The Radisson offers this restaurant for your convenience. I tried the breakfast today. It was nice. There was a buffet but there was not much that was interesting on it. It was the usual high carbohydrates and fats, nothing fresh. I DID find a nice entree though. It was a spinach and crimini mushroom omelet. The coffee was flowing. The bread that went with the entree was REALLY good. It was a wheat with all kinds of seeds and nuts. If you are staying at this hotel, the restaurant is satisfactory. Try the omelet!

Our waitress Deborah was awesome. Although super busy this morning she was able to handle everyone like a pro. Great buffet for a hotel. Good variety.

Had a great meal at this restaurant! Lakeside seating and excellent food and service! Highly recommend!

Had the fish and chips and I would say they were better than average. The fish was crispy and tasted fresh and the fries are hand-cut. The draft beer selection is limited and needs to be expanded.

I stayed at the Radisson hotel and ate dinner at the Lakeside Bar and Grill. I had the Fettuccine Alfredo and it was just average because the noodles were a bit under cooked but it tasted decent enough. If you don't feel like going out then go ahead and eat at this place as it's not a bad looking restaurant.

The waitress here was exceptional. She greeted everyone with a smile, very efficient. She was the bartender on Sunday evening and also worked for breakfast on 02 May when we left. Nice place, we will be back for sure! She was very nice and made us want to return.

We stayed a day, the food was very tasty, the waiter very nice , the quality of the food was awesome , I’ll definitely come back !

The staff was friendly and good selection of beer. We shared a nachos and I liked the chips and black beans

The staff was very nice. Our rooms featured the free breakfast buffet. There was something different featured each day. Eggs, Sausage links, sausage patties, different types of egg scrambles, waffles, fruit, a variety of breads plus there was a good selection of regular breakfast items. The restaurant overlooks a lake and has a lot of comfortable seating. We also had lunch there and it was fine, too. Salads were fresh, the burger was good and we enjoyed the fish tacos. Very nice staff at breakfast each morning and seemed to enjoy talking to the customers.

I picked this place due to it's location looking for lunch from the Portland airport heading to Columbia River Gorge Area. The interior of the restaurant is an outdated hotel restaurant with a bar. The outdoor patio area is definitely more appealing, if the weather permits. The menu was quite varied and we had chicken chipotle wrap, club sandwich and a grilled salmon sandwich. The food was better than expected. That being said, I would eat here if I was staying at the hotel, but wouldn't go out of my way for it.

Didn't like the menu in another airport nearby so I found this one on trip advisor and went over to check it out. I learned this wasn't the first time someone came over from my hotel. Nice room and view of a lake. I had poached salmon with asparagus and macaroni and cheese with sausage and jalapeños. Both were very good. With the restaurant being so good I might have to check out the Radisson next time.

We arrived in Portland on the evening of the 4th of July and found, to our chagrin, that a considerable number of restaurants were closed because of the holiday and that those that were open, were fast food outlets or food courts. Fortunately, the receptionist at the Best Western Pony Solider said that we might find the Lakeside Bar and Grill in the Radisson Airport open and their food was very good. It was was close by so we gave it a try. Overall, the restaurant is quite pleasant in terms of its setting. The "lake" is more like a small slough but there were water birds to watch and the overall setting is nice. As is often the case in the restaurant trade, workers don't show up especially on holidays and two staff members were trying to look after the bar and the entire restaurant - under the circumstances, they did a great job but service was decidedly slow. There were two specials that night - a Thai prawns dish which was reported to be "very hot - too hot for some" and a steelhead fillet. I opted for the former and my wife had the latter. Both were very well prepared and while the prawns dish was definitely on the hot side, no problem as I like it that way. The steelhead was "cooked to perfection" according to my wife. Both dishes were priced around the $20 mark which we consider quite reasonable given the quality. There is a very good selection of beers and wines available and Oregon has an untold number of excellent craft breweries and an evolving wine industry that rivals many top areas in the world today. Overall, excellent cuisine and a very good selection of beers and wines so you aren't likely to go too far wrong given the breadth of the menu - something there for everyone. It was unfortunate that service suffered a bit because of staff shortage but ask anyone in the restaurant trade today and it seems to be a universal complaint. I always ask myself if this a restaurant I would go back to again and in the case of the Lakeside Bar and Grill, I definitely would.

Wonderful food especially the chicken parminsan! So good! Love the atmosphere overlooking the pond filled with waterfowl. Great food in a great airport hotel away from the noise of the airfield.

We had dinner at night and breakfast the following morning. We had landed a few hours earlier so it was our first meals in America since. Great experience. Lovely people. Highly recommended. Radisson Hotel at Portland airport is also a very nice place to stay.

My wife and I ate dinner at Lakeside Bar & Grill while we stayed at the Radisson before an early flight out of PDX this past August. We shared chips and salsa and quesadillas. The food was good, but the service was below par. We were practically ignored where we were seated. If the bartender had not come over to take our orders we might still be waiting to be served. Needless to say, we did not dine there on a return trip to Portland in December. The inattentive service dropped what would have been a five rating for the food to an average overall rating.

We've stayed at the Radisson before but never had the opportunity to eat in the restaurant there. This time it was raining hard and we decided to stay in and eat there. So glad we did! Started off with calamari and drinks. Calamari were very tender and cooked perfect. They came with onion rings and aioli sauce. Very good. Drinks were good, too! Fish tacos were some of the best we've had. Large chunks of fish and lots of slaw, chipotle sauce, and salsa. 3 tacos with doubled soft corn tortillas. Fried chips and salsa accompanied them. Wished there were more of those, though! Finished off with the apple tart. Yummy! The service was top notch. We weren't sorry at all that we decided not to brave the weather and seek the Portland dining options. I can still taste those incredible calamari!!

Great breakfast overlooking the pond with some ducks in it. Server was very friendly & helpful, would highly recommend.

Stopped in for breakfast with my wife during our honeymoon stay in PDX good food and prices, great staff! Thanks a bunch Geo for making us feel at home and brightening our day!

This place is great. Good atmosphere and friendly folks. I went to the lounge and was very impressed with the service. Travis was great.

I usually make it a point to avoid hotel bars and restaurants unless staying at a higher end hotel but due to some heavy rain and bogged down traffic, I decided to avoid a drive to one of my usual spots for dinner and try the restaurant in the lobby. It was a really pleasant surprise! The decor is what you'd expect from a 3 star hotel bar but the service and food were really good! Sunny provided the friendliest service I've seen in any restaurant, anywhere! Her attitude and smile got me to go back 2 nights in a row! I tried 2 different meals and liked them both- I especially liked the fish tacos. Not very spicy so ask for extra house made salsa if you like some spice in your fish taco. I might go out of my way to stay here again knowing the level of service and food quality is so much higher than I expected! Thanks for the great service Sunny!

We booked the hotel for a park & shuttle to find a nice happy hour menu & GREAT food. Veggie pizza was yummy with crispy crust & baked garlic. Daily drink specials were nice.

A nice restaurant overlooking a little man made lake outside with ducks and geese, good food in the evening, nice breakfast buffet (or order off of the menu), full bar. We always eat here in the evening before we fly in the am, or have breakfast before we leave after getting back late.

The Lakeside Bar and Grill was an unexpected gem, located in an airport hotel. The service was impeccable, the food was outstanding, and the views of the lake and the wildlife from the patio while dining were an added treat. I would stay at the Raddison PDX again just to dine at the Lakeside again.

Having a full service restaurant and bar at an airport hotel is a plus. The menu was varied, the food was tasty, especially the brussels sprouts, and service was friendly and efficient. Alan, our server, was pleasant and attentive.

We stayed at the Radisson and went into the Lakeside twice. For breakfast, I had their bacon, egg, and cheddar omelet. It came with fried potatoes and toast. Everything was excellent. They offer a housemade mixed berry jam that I really liked, and their coffee was an excellent double roasted blend.

The food was good, and our waiter was great. The restaurant itself needs some atmosphere and decorating. It's very bland.

Can’t beat the convenience with a lovely view. Staff is friendly and efficient. Menu selection is good. Chicken tortilla soup was yummy. Husband had fried chicken breast with panko crumbs which was crisp. Two large pieces with one a bit dry and tough and the other tender and more flavorful. Easy to put charge on your room bill.

The Chicken Marsala and Parmesan Encrusted Cod were very good. Service was courteous and efficient. Prices typical for the area.

I stay at the Radisson PDX several times per month, usually on either end of business trips. The Lakeside Grill has gone downhill in a very short amount of time. Not only is the restaurant consistently under staffed, but the product has become terrible. Most of the best items on the menu are gone, like the wings, delicious Pork tacos, and an amazing chopped salad. The current menu is small and the food items are not very good at all. I have given the restaurant a few months to see if anything would change, and it has, for the worse. Last night was my last stay at the Radisson PDX. I ordered a salad with chicken, the waitress/bartender dropped it off and ran away. There was no chicken on the salad. I assumed she went to go get it. As a test to see just how bad this place has gotten, I sat there without touching my salad, with an empty glass of iced tea and water for over 30 minutes. After a half hour, the waitress brought me my bill, with an untouched salad and 2 empty glasses. I informed her that I had added chicken, she said sorry, went away for another 15 minutes, came back and told me that it was going to take too long because they just got a big to go order. I hope that the restaurant manager reads this, because after speaking with several people on the shuttle as well as others in my industry, they are all disappointed in the new “chef” and management. I will be taking my business to the Sheraton where the rooms and restaurant are consistent.

They have a breakfast buffet, but I prefer ordering from the menu. I had medium eggs, hash browns, bacon, and english muffin. YUM

We had several meals (dinners and breakfasts) here during our 4 day stay at the Radisson. Food was very good. Pizza is large at 12" and can feed 2 people. Pasta was excellent.

My husband and I stayed at the Radisson the night before flying to Michigan for the holidays. Feeling too lazy to seek out a restaurant and fight the Friday night traffic, we headed down to the on-site restaurant for dinner. Our waiter suggested the Happy Hour menu. The prices were certainly good. I ordered the Chicken Quesadilla and a cup of Clam Chowder. My husband had the Cheeseburger and a Caesar salad. Our meals were outstanding! Very generous portions. And the prices? $6 for the burger. $6 for the quesadilla. $5 for the Caesar. $4 for the chowder. Sure can’t beat those prices for great food! Yes, I would definitely recommend the Lakeside Bar & Grill to friends!

We arrived at the hotel a little anxious about dinner. My wife and I are both gluten and dairy sensitive and that can be a problem in many restaurants. We did not have a car and our only choice was the hotel restaurant. We were very pleasantly surprised at the imaginative options on the menu. The server was friendly, quick and helpful and seated us a table overlooking the pretty pond outside. Had an excellent margarita and we both had the Alaskan cod in tortillas. Terrific meal and very reasonable price.

We generally don’t expect much from a hotel chain restaurant, especially in a hotel distant from other eating options. This restaurant in the Radisson near the Portland airport was surprisingly good. We ate breakfast there four times and dinner once. We rate the buffet breakfast excellent, and better than almost all similar buffets. The scrambled eggs with cheese and tomatoes were cooked perfectly. And twice the waitress charged less than full price when she noticed my wife didn’t eat very much. This was done without our asking. The dinner was also very good. My wife claimed her hamburger excellent. My pizza was very good. The only slight negative was my salad; the greens in it were not the freshest and it was thin on the dressing. Overall very satisfying.

We had two meals during our stay at the Radisson. It has a pleasant atmosphere, an attentive staff and good food. The salads were large, hamburger was good, steak nachos not recommended

Flew in and checked I to Radisson. Ordered soup and salad. Very good, chicken tortilla soup and Lakeside salad. Apples, pears, nuts blue cheese. Great service, friendly atmosphere.

Tried the Chop House Burgers. Very good but the high point was the service. Outstanding! Debora was pleasant, non- obtrusive, and yet very efficient. Food was just right and served hot. Our drinking glasses never reached bottom!

Very friendly staff and great food. Would highly recommend hotel and restaurant. Happy hour is wonderful. Would definitely come again.
i was hungery
. for me I could have used a little more spice, flavor in the chicken wrap. Fish chips good. beer was cold drink pour good. bartender had a smile on her face... goood.
