I was not impress nor happy with the food.. I would love for visitors to the Miami area to really experience the taste of a good Cuban food. Latin Cafe is not the place were they will find authentic Cuban food. Service was good and good prices but they need to improve on the food quality .

Just opposite our hotel, nice cuban food and the temperature inside the restaurant was nice on a cool day in Miami. They offer good wines.

Delicious food and great service. My daughter and I had the Friday special which was pollo and rice with three plantains. Yummy! Plenty of food. Hubby had pork with onions with black beans and plantains. I had the sangria and hubby had a Cuban beer. My sangria was so good! My daughter had a mango shake that she loved. Quick three block walk from the Marriott complex.

The food is good but the service at the counter for to go orders is bad. They never explain the menu, The girl that was there was really rude, the order was wrong and she just told me it was my fault. I explain to her what I want and that a server must explain the menu and she just answer that she is not a server so she’s not gonna do it

Great portions, Great Latin Food! Never a Flinch when eating here! Cooks are well versed in their environment! GetSome!!

My husband and I tried one beef dish and one chicken dish for lunch after arriving in Miami. Very convenient to the airport but the food was bland. Sides we tried were sweet plantains, mixed veggies, and fries. I would not return since nothing we tried was particularly interesting. Not what I was looking for from a Latin restaurant.

Best Cuban sandwich in Miami . Hands down. Other food is good also . Also get a Cuban coffee. It's great

Across from our hotel, we sat outside as the cars raced by. I had chicken with chimichurri sauce and my wife had chips and salad - no other vegan options, but between us we filled up and the food was very good, as was the bottle of wine we got.

Every time we go to Miami to go on a cruise we have to get our Cuban Food "Fix". The food here is awesome. This past visit Linda got shrimp with a tomato sauce over noodles. It had a Cuban flair to it and the shrimp where huge and succulent . I got beef tips with black beans and rice and the beef tips were falling apart tender with Cuban spices. We split a carafe if sangria and it was loaded with fruits and very good. The bill was around $50.00

Went for a business lunch and it's a good location close to the airport. The food was good, fast and reasonably priced. The service is very good and the staff speaks English as well as Spanish, which was very helpful for my business associate who doesn't speak Spanish. Parking is ample; in addition to the restaurant's parking lot you can also park in the strip mall next door.

The tea had an after taste. The soup was okay. The sampler had dried out samples. The service is better than the food.

I travel a lot for work and I always like to eat where the locals eat - this was some of the best Cuban food that I have had. The workers there are very nice even with my broken Spanish. My family and I ate there 3 times in 4 days and every time it was it excellent.

I love coming to Miami because All the people I have met are very friendly, except today I wanted to try some different coffee g the person who delivers the coffees was ZERO friendly. Remember that both food and service are essential for a diner to return to a restaurant so unfortunately with this bad experience I will not return

Breakfast was good ordered veggie omlette with fried plantains on the side. Dinner was disappointing ordered yellow rice with chicken, it had no flavor.

I ate here one day while staying in Miami on a layover heading out on vacation. It was close to the hotel and i was in the mood for a Cuban. Not the best Cuban sandwich I’ve ever had but it was good and the price was good too, they also had plantains which hit the spot.

The worst place to go to eat is not recommended especially by a girl who is inside the kitchen delivering the orders and the manager one white spectacled super poorly educated does not respond when you are going to talk to him who have believed to treat people so please should vote them and place trained people who really do their job with passion and kindness.

Just landed in Miami and arriving at the hotel we went for a Super breakfast, good treatment and rich food, we will repeat.

This place is surprising. The tamales and their black beans are terrific This is a true find close to MIA If you enjoy Cuban food you can’t pass this up

I am a regular customer at this place for very good reasons ….Great food! Great atmosphere, Great service and Great Prices!!!!! . I go there at least three times a week. Lunch is great all the time. My special thanks to Ariel the Manager of the restaurant, he is excellent , very friendly and attentive with everyone. I will see you soon. !!!!

This is a great spot to eat and fill up gas ( down the block ) before going to the airport. The service here quick and our waitress was friendly. The Cuban and steak sandwich were good, and my Palomilla steak was also good.

What happened? The white chunks of dry chicken cannot replace how Miami grew up with yellow rice and chicken! Gave it a try again yesterday and asked if the they could replace the chicken cube chunks w roasted leg and they could not substitute. Server was sympathetic and nice. Instead, I went for their roasted chicken dish. Not too bad. Hey, where can you get some good old fashion yellow rice and chicken?

You know a restaurant has to be good when the noise from low flying planes and a busy high-trafficked street do not deter diners from coming to this authentic Cuban restaurant. The lobster bisque, blackened snapper, grilled chicken and sweet plantains were superb and the service couldn’t have been better - friendly and ultra efficient. Simply fantastic.

Huge Menu. Helpful Staff. Easy to find and easy parking. Sampler plate was large. probably enough without an entree.

Loved it! I’d been wanting to try a traditional Cuban sandwich and since I was this close to one, I couldn’t pass it by. Yum!

So good! We had dinner after a long flight. Linguini with seafood was simply amazing. Beef with onions was tender and tasty. Nice service and fast.

We had breakfast. The omelet was great. The bread was delish. Their breakfast potatoes had the best taste. Very good spices on them. Will definately eat here again

There are plenty of places to stay in the area! Also, to eat but this one takes the cake and the food. We were referred and it was a match. The food was so authentic and worth every bite.

Wow! I’m not sure how I kept driving past this place for years. I was working overnight at Amazon and got off work this morning on the search for a great breakfast and Latin Cafe 2000 delivered! Once I stepped foot into the front doors I was immediately greeted by the hostess and offered to sit at the bar which I declined but they had a nice small table with a booth side chair. I ordered the Americano which comes with two eggs 🍳 I order them over medium and chose Bacon for my meat. It came with two pancakes, Cuban toast and Cuban coffee. I called before I came to make sure they had grits and they didn’t disappoint! The bacon cooked perfectly. The eggs cooked perfectly. The grits so creamy and seasoned nicely with the American cheese I asked for. Coffee was so fresh, hot and authentic. It was so good I had to tell the manager about it. This is the best breakfast I’ve had in a while. Even if you miss the regular breakfast menu that stops at 11:30am they do offer a brunch menu all day. I am definitely going to have to stop back by to try the rest of the menu. I love places that have great food and superior service. Love it love it love it!

We were in Miami again for a cruise and my son in law suggested we go there again for dinner. Just as good as the last time. Service was excellent, food was outstanding, and the family all enjoyed the experience again.

This restaurant was conveniently located across the street from where we were staying. The prices were reasonable and the food was delicious. Best thing about this place for me was the coffee! I ordered a cafe con leche; I understand Cuban coffee is a big thing in Miami and here was my first Cuban coffee experience but it was amazing!

It is basically a cafeteria, serving Cuban staples and great sandwiches. Good hearty breakfast and lunch. One of the best Cuban "cafecitos" (a shot of strong expresso coffee) in Miami.

Staying over at the Courtyard near the Miami Airport to catch flight in the morning. Walking distance to this great little Cuban cafe. Good prices. Open at 6 am. Friendly staff with good breakfast food. Real cafe leche :)

We always visit when in Miami , we were not disapointed . Food was great, so was the service , the "milanesa" is astonishingly good. I also love the miami sandwich . Portion size is huge. Great value for money.

Terrible Experience! Terrible service! Waitress Anairis, Nasty Attitude! She even ask me if I don’t know how to read because I asked for something they didn’t serve at that especific time.

Nothing fancy , but a very nice staff , latin style( no pushy, no rush ) great simple real food , there is a good breakfast and lunch menu, honest price , if you missed your flight from Mia( as I did) try it!!

The prawns with garlic n olive oil with bean n rice was delicious as was the cuban sandwich The bacon wrapped maduros was good minus the sweet sauce The outside searing was perfect

I've come here a few times and have tried a few different things on the menu, it never disappoints. The food is great, service is wonderful, and I love sitting on the patio. Some of my faves are the croquetas, queso frito, churrasco, and mango citrus salad. I will say that the flan and the cheesecake are just okay. There's something about the flavor that's lacking. Overall, this is like comfort food in Miami. Standard, you know what you're getting, and it's delicious!

Got seated right away. After my food arrived, nobody came over to see if it was correct nor to refill coffee. Avocado toast was fine but nothing special. Left feeling rather unsure why it was highly rated. It was interesting, as I was watching around me and others definitely got better service than I did.

Food and service here was absolutely great!!... Will be visiting this place again. Sweet Plantains wrapped in bacon was incredible.

busy as Valentines night but got a table for four, quick service, large portions and simple tasty food. Wine was cheap too

We ate lunch and dinner here. The service was excellent and even when busy they had adequate staff on hand to take care of guests. The food was excellent, my only “complaint” would be that at dinner they had run out of a few things, problems with being popular I guess! However when they were out of Papa Fritas they simply substituted them for French fries and charged us for Papa Fries. Two concerns there, one I wasn’t given an option, two don’t charge me for what you can’t provide! I would eat here again and would recommend it.

Excellent food. Good prices. This is the second time while traveling in the area we are here. We were warmly welcomed by multiple staff members upon our arrival on a.bisynweekend night. Staff was very patient to give us time to review the menu. There are some many interesting foods to try it is hard to make only one selection. We had the Cuban sandwich, mahi mahi sandwich, rice and beans and the Latin sandwich. All excellent! When I return again, I will get the tacos. I saw them served to multiple customers and they looked great. Check out was very quick at the table. I will gladly eat here again.

This restaurant is popular with locals and tourists. We have eaten here several times for breakfast. Service is friendly and the food is well prepared. My husband and I ordered Desayuno Traditional , eggs, potatoes with bell peppers, a choice of bacon or ham and toast. We ordered American coffee. Breakfast came quickly and was very good, especially for the price.

We recently had dinner at Latin VCafe for the third time. I noticed on their menu specials that on Wednesdays, they had “Arroz con pollo with plantains” The first time, we had dinner at Latin Cafe, the food was spectacular! Arroz con pollo and plantains were fresh and simply delicious. The second visit, I had the same but not as fresh. I had to have them get me fresher plantains. But failed. The third time, which was two days ago, again I decided on the Arroz con Pollo. This time I can assure you that the food was terrible. It was so terrible that I told my husband we were not eating at Latin cafe again. All I can say is that I once again wanted to believe the food would be delicious like our first visit. Good Luck!!

Missed flight so had to stay over. This is a great family Cuban restaurant with authentic food. The Cuban grilled chicken was beans were awesome.

This restaurant was local to our hotel and we had breakfast twice and one evening meal. We loved it. Breakfast was fresh with generous proportions and good service. A good sign is the large number of locals who come to eat here. Our evening meal was also a top experience. The only hiccup in the evening was the very limited English of our waitress and in the end she called for a replacement but this was a minor issue. Heartily recommended.

If you're like me and need a good breakfast, you can't go wrong here -- really good coffee, huevos rancheros -- scrambled eggs, with black beans, bacon, and potatoes, etc. -- it's all good and hit the spot. Located across from the Regency Hotel and just a few minutes from the car rental companies, it is convenient.

The place is immaculate, exterior and interior, Carmen's service, excellent, shy in recommending assertive pear to the menu and options. The order was almost fast, she was efficient, she delivered coffee and toast, but the food was delayed, she changed the coffee for a hot one and the toast. Return!!

This used to be one of my favorite Restaurants in Miami just across from my favorite Hotel. Unfortunately the Service has considerably deteriorated since I was last there (about 1 year ago). They are now on an electronic tablet ordering device and some of their Waiters have difficulty operating it or simply forget to pick up the food from the counter on time. In fact, I only saw one or two familiar waitresses which are now behind the bar counter. I used to order Cuban Sandwiches as main, and "Croquetas" as my starter dish. At my last visit the Croquetas where greasy. As main dish I tried their Puerco Asado, this later with no taste. The entire order came slowly and in stages..., forgot my beverage, then forgot my side order of chopped onions for my black beans etc. I can no longer recommend this restaurant. It has suffered in my view a drastic change in the last year or so with drastic personnel changes. Hope they can come back to their usual quality level and excellent service they used to have.

I have been visiting the place 3 times having tapas, vother day lunch and drinks, today I decide just to stop by in the bar counter for a drink and the unfriendly waitress approached me and try to explain the menu system I informed her that I will only be having some drinks, rudely she reply if I don't eat I can't drink, in the BAR COUNTER. I been working in the restaurant industry for over 20 years, this was shocking to me. Not acceptable

Great food without the big prices of the big name places on Calle Ocho. It's on Lejeune between Coral Gables and the airport, across the street from the Crowne Plaza Hotel. Great cafe con leche, papa rellenos, ropa vieja, fish, chicken, empanadas, tostones, platanos maduros, yuca, desayuno (breakfast) and great specials. Love the walk-up window. Do not miss this place!

Went there for lunch on a Friday. It’s always a good sign when a restaurant is full. It was nice authentic Cuban food for a good price. Portions are huge!

We were staying close by so we stopped in for dinner. The Cuban food was excellent. The service was prompt and very friendly. We will definitely return.

Love the beef empanadas and the cubano sandwich. The traditional food is really good. Try the Rabo encendido with white rice and tostones.

One of my favorites when in Miami. I always have to have their croquettes with a cortadito a bit of milk with cuban coffee Their food is awesome and great authentic latin dishes. Close to the airport and you can order at the window, indoor or outdoor seating area.

Great food with good service. We had the ceviche, sangria, arroz con pollo, and I think a chuleta. Everything was good. I would go back.

Great food presentation, awesome menu options. Excellent customer service, prices are reasonable, enjoy the ambience

I was excited to introduce my wife and daughter to the joys of Cuban food. Sadly this was really mediocre. I would not recommend

What a great restaurant, great favors, excellent service, loved the variety and price. Much better to walk and get outside the hotel food. Went back for breakfast the next day.

We had a wonderful dinner here. Really enjoyed the sangrias, plantain chips appetizer, and Vaca Frita de Pollo - shredded chicken. Everything was excellent. We really enjoyed being able to choose to sit outside or inside for dinner. Staff was friendly and very helpful in helping us choose items to eat.

Staying at Hilton , but went back to Latin 2000 for the breakfast . Uber ride and it is still such good value. Good fresh food, a cracking breakfast with juice and as much coffee as we wanted $16. for the two us ! Could walk back but take at least 40 minutes plus . Used Uber again and still cheaper than the equivalent breakfasts at the Hilton

My son and I stayed at the hotel across the street before going on a cruise a couple of weeks ago. I had wanted to try a cuban restaurant while in town and was excited to find out that there was one so close that we could walk. This seemed like a casual diner type of place, and I was good with that. We each started our meal with an appetizer of papas rellenas. They had been frozen and the problem was that they were cooked golden brown on the outside but the meat in the center was still frozen. We both just ate around the frozen meat. I ordered the shredded chicken with onions in garlic sauce over white rice and hawaiian style plantains. The dish was good but a little bit bland. I added some vinegar from a bottle on the table and that did help a lot. I did not enjoy the plantains, as they were pretty hard and flavorless. This might just be what hawaiian style plantains are like in general and no fault of the restaurant, but I did not care for them. The service was okay and I really do not have any complaints about it. Our waitress, was nice and brought us everything that we asked for correctly, but she did not really say very much. Overall, our experience was not perfect, but it was not bad. I am not sure I would go back again though.

Arrived in Miami this afternoon and I have been dying to have Cuban food. I didn’t want to go to another tourist trap so when the girls at the front desk recommend this place, I went right away! I thought I was going to be in for a treat. Real food, cooked the old fashioned way with real ingredients and nothing fake. Instead I walked into a cafeteria type of establishment, with the floors all wet and a bit muddy from the latest downpour. Yes I was disappointed. And that was my own fault for envisioning an old hacienda type of establishment where you can smell the meat on the grill with the aroma of onions caramelizing as the drizzle of garlic and pepper splatter, spark the open fire. The menu to my surprise, was a thick, laminated and congested diner menu which I bet, had seen better days. With so much to read (just like a diner menu) I ordered something simple, a skirt steak with chimichuri dressing. For sides, I ordered sweet plantain and rice & beans mixed. So, the food comes in two rectangular plates. Obviously, they need to work on presentation and a bit of architectural drawings would probably do some good. The skirt steak was undercooked, but the chimichuri dressing was good. The two little sweet plantain were not juicy and the rice was dry. Even I can make better rice, and that was heartbreaking. All these years waiting to have authentic Cuban food and it only took one night in Miami to find out, back in Patchogue, Long Island, we can have a much better and a more authentic Cuban dinning experience any time of the year. I’m leaving the Miami area tomorrow but will keep searching for the Cuban food I been longing for... hey, it’s got to be out there, somewhere!! Oh yeah, almost forgot. For dessert I had flan. It was terrible.

Although the menu is extensive and the food tastes great, this restaurant is in desperate need of training its staff. Servers see you come in and take forever to even offer a glass of water. Some of the staff are extremely rude, especially to non-Spanish speaking guests.

Very amiable hostess and clean restaurant. Unfortunately, cortadito was a disappointment. Ask for evaporated milk and watery coffee mix was delivered warm. Did not taste the evaporated milk at all. I am Cuban and expect a well prepared coffee. Tequeno and croqueta were served at room temperature as well. Cafeteria server needs to learn how to make Cuban cortadito.

We were in the mood for some good Latin food this place was close to the hotel we were staying so lets give it a try. What a great place the food and service was very good, the next time we're in Miami we will go back.

When you are in Little Havana you most certainly have to enjoy Cuban cuisine. And if you are looking for Cuban as good as any place in Havana, look no farther than this little gem not far from the Miami Airport. We chose two classic Cuban entrees with sides that epitomize Cuba. My wife had Bisteak and I had Cameron’s a la plancha. Our sides were black beans, platanos maduros and yuca. Washed down with a couple bottles of Hautuey beer from Cuba and it was a meal fit for a Cuban king. We will be back.

They have great customer service everybody is friendly the waiting staff make sure that your food and everything is fine great great great place to visit best customer service in that area that my opinion

Landing into Miami late night on a work trip, this ended up being about all that was open. They did not disappoint. We especially loved the empanadas and the Cuban Fajitas. Would definitely eat here again.

Wow wow wow!!! My families first experience of Cuban cuisine and were now hooked! We were visiting Miami for the 1st time in 10 years since my uncle died and we were lucky enough to be only 500 yards up the road from this gem. We enjoyed a truly beautiful meal and fabulous service here on our first night after our flight down from NYC, my wife , I and my notoriously picky parents, absolutely wolfed down filetillos de polloi salteados and camarones with some sangria and some freshly baked Cuban bread and a Cuban coffee.... It was so good we ate breakfast here a couple of mornings later b4 heading upto Orlando still licking our lips comida hermosa muchos gracias.....

Went for breakfast and the food and service was very poor. A Waitress was constantly coughing, she should not have been allowed to work. Employees had mask, but had no clue how to use them. They would only put it over the mouth. My wife and I were very uncomfortable. The food was just as bad, they found many ways to ruin a breakfast, burnt bacon, over cooked scramble eggs, only 1 cup of coffee and no water. Enter at your own risk, and beware if the food.

Most AA crews walk over for lunch. Great menu and large selection of Cuban and American food. Price very reasonable.

We were overnight at a nearby hotel before boarding our ship. The shuttle driver from the airport recommended this place. We were not disappointed. The waiter was extremely friendly and efficient and explained the dishes in detail since we were unfamiliar with the cuisine, The food was a generous portion and very tasty at a reasonable price. I would would have given it 5 stars but I really don't have anything to compare it to. However, we were very satisfied.

The family arrived from Iowa at our AirB&B for our cruise. Six people, we were so tired, and the host recommended the Latin Cafe..they deliver! We got our food fast, and hot, and it was wonder Cuban/Caribian food. Generouse portions, So generous, we ate multiple lunches during our two day stay! Plantain chips were yummy, so hard to get good black beans in Iowa....A wonderful convenient and reasonably priced experience...did I mention they deliver?!

I was ignored when I went in, but was given a table soon. The waiter was attentive at first, but once he took my order I saw him only once again, and that was when he came to give me my check. I tried to get his attention to get condiments, but he was too busy attending to the tables around me, I ended up having to get things for myself. If he had come by early in the meal and asked how things were I wouldn't feel this way...he was very attentive to the tables around me...but he took no effort whatsoever to see to any of my needs. As for the food, my entree was almost good, but was so dry that I couldn't finish it. Perhaps they are happy with the clientele that they have...I was impressed that they were such a bustling place,,,, but for me, looking for a decent eating experience within walking distance of the hotel where I was staying, uh, nope.

Very nice cozy place. Food is delicious! Nice outside tables and they close at midnight! Waiting time was fast and our waiter was very nice.

Dinner here was great. Salad with Mahi and Garbanzo soup, was filling. The Malbec I had also paired pretty well with the Mahi. Outdoor sitting was perfect, given the weather. Didn't try the coffee though, but I'm sure it'll be awesome. Will have to give that a try next time, perhaps lunch.

Great food, but sorry there was a barrier of communication at times. Hey I still return there because it's close to the hotel, the price is right and flavour full.

Brief visit to this Cuban based café in Miami. Very interesting menu and incredibly helpful staff make this a place to visit if you happen to be in the vicinity. Only a few hundred yards from the Miami airport Marriott hotels. Outside and inside seating.

How is this place a Michelin rated restaurant is beyond me! I learned not to trust TripAdvisor rating anymore. Food was pretty blank. Food seems to be prepared by microwave and ingredients are from prepackaged. My daughter’s mashed potatoes definitely tasted exactly from prepackaged!. Server didn’t not give silverware until asked and only brought out plastic wares! It was for dinner. Avoid this place

The best restaurant I have eaten at in all of Miami. Everytime I come to Miami I stay at the Crown Plaza so that I can eat here. The staff is so welcoming and friendly. I travel for work and never get tired of the amazing atmosphere and ambiance. If you haven't experienced the cuisine you are definitely missing out. Cuban cuisine at its finest with a staff that makes you feel at home.

We needed something before heading to the airport and this was our quick stop for Miami's famous Cuban food. A warning that it hard to find food near the airport and its the section of Miami where driving becomes endlessly dangerous and much like driving in Central and South America. Turn quick, hope no one runs in to you as you dash and dive and then cram yourself into a tight parking stop. The place has a lot of local patronage. Plenty of folks stop for papas rellenos, Cuban sandwiches and other tortas for work. There is a nice carry out window or options to sit down. I liked it and thought that it delivered though was more pricey than the walk ups you can get on South Beach. Definitely addressed our hunger needs and would go back.

This place has great food at reasonable prices. We had the appetizer sampler and it was outstanding. The sangria was wonderful as was the cubano sandwich. If you don’t speak Spanish I suggest you sit at a table. The outside walk up counter and the inside counter seems to mostly get locals and the wait staff speak limited English. It’s not a bad thing but something to know. In the end customers will translate for you but you might miss something delicious on the menu. The table wait staff spend quite a bit of time explaining the menu. The location I went to had a very small parking lot so take that into consideration. Great people, great food and fantastic coffee

The Latin Cafe was recommended by a Cuban gentleman at our hotel, so we decided to give it a try. Right from the start, we were greeted by a friendly, smiling waitress who took really good care if us the whole time we were there. The food was also very good, and I was especially happy to see a "Healthy Cuban" section in the menu, making it easier to eat healthy while still enjoying authentic Cuban food. A little draw-back was the noise from the other patrons, and the big TV screens that for some reason was mounted in the dining area. It distracted from the food and company, and not very family-friendly.

We walked from the hotel for breakfast before we could head to our cruise ship. A great decision. Very good breakfast sat on the patio. Service was good but not great, she was very busy.

Stopped here for breakfast and the food is fresh and the service is quick. Within walking distance from many hotels. Great Cuban coffee and their ham was amazing along with the black beans and rice. I was impressed by their fried potatoes with peppers and onions. Many breakfast options on the menu.

Stopped in here for a pre-cruise dinner and while it was perfectly fine, I'd been hoping for more from an authentic cuban cafe. Service was decent, but the food lacked any punch to it. I'm used to a cuban sandwich having some nice zing from the mustard, and yet I found it lacking here. I also had two large bits of bone in my shredded pork. I get that it happens, but boy howdy it is so off putting to have something unexpectly crunch like that.

Great Cuban food in a casual, comfortable atmosphere, with reasonable prices & friendly staff who make you feel at home. The Latin Café has long been a go-to place for friends of ours in Miami who've been going for years. Easy to see why. What's not to love?

The waitress was nice .very clean and safe as we noticed many firefighters and police officers were eating here or grabbing a to go. They had plenty of parking for most size of vehicles beside the pawn shop the breakfast was priced in comparison to ihop and was cooked perfectly.. yes we would definitely eat here again

Mostly Cuban food. Juice was fresh, so was the bread. Tasty pressed sandwiches and fantastic mango salad. Recommend.

Went for dinner on advise of TripAdvisor app. Walked from Marriot courtyard where we stay at this business trip, easy and safe walk. Sat outside in a big party tent and while we walked through the restaurant I considered that a nicer place to sit. They took the order quickly and it was served quick as well. Had a vacation fritz beef meal and as it comes with two sides I chose French fries and two stones fried plantains. Food was good but not very tastefull, needed to add salt, pepper, ketchup for more flavor, usually don't need nor do that. Plantains did not have flavor at all but were good to eat. French fries... well next time they should use hotter oil or bake a bit longer as it felt not 100% ready. Had a Cuban beer which was good but not overwhelming. Looking at location and price it was a good place and go there if you want a quick, decent and not overpriced meal.

I ordered online for take out for dinner and saw total of $22 for my order which is reasonable. When I got to pick up window was surprisingly only $17 . I thought maybe something I had ordered wasn’t available so it was removed, but no..... it was Taco Tuesday so there was a discount on the tacos! SCORE! Btw... food was delicious! Ordered house salad, rice & beans, chicken tacos, and sweet plantains! Would definitely recommend this spot!

The food here was delicious. I had a steak marinated in chimichurri sauce with grilled shrimp. It tasted like heaven on earth. The red sangria was delicious but it snuck up on me after 2 glasses.

Looking for a place to have breakfast, we arrived without asking anyone. Pleasantly surprised, good service, good food and in quantity. We ordered orange juice, coffee with milk, avocado toast and a Cuban sandwich. For dessert, a Catalan cream. With tip included the bill was $43.74. We will be back.

Started this evening with a caraf of Sangria and had excellent Mahi tacos as well as the grilled shrimp salad. Finished with the modest but tasty churros and followed by a cafe con leche. YUM!!! Thanks Raul for making our evening fantastic!

Very bad sangria, with low quality wine. Slow service, few people to serve. The waitress was polite, but was unable to provide the necessary assistance.

Good Cuban food! Great atmosphere you sit inside or out I've been to this place twice in my visit to Miami and may come again before I leave. The empanadas are great the beef stew, the sweet plantains and the Cuban coffee is to die for do not leave Miami without trying this place! And by the way the service is great the best I've had in a long time.

Service was prompt and friendly. Bread before the meal was too tempting to pass up. I had the Churrasco De Pollo and couldn’t get enough of the chimichurri sauce. Portions were generous. Enjoyed the sweet plantains and rice and beans.

Latin Cafe 2000 offers an excellent menu choice. Everything we ordered tasted wonderful! The juice selection was superior and we’d highly recommend Watermelon. We we’re vacationing and came back a few times. This is where locals eat!

Across the street from the Crowne Plaza Hotel is one of the Latin Cafe chain and while in Miami it seemed very appropriate. A wide selection of food is available diner style and all the dishes we ordered to share between us were delicious. The only challehge is that the food arrives in such huge portions that it is almost impossible to leave a clean plate! Highly recommended

We visited this establishment twice during our pre-cruise stay in a nearby hotel. We were promptly greeted and seated. We ordered the appetizer sampler and the croquettes were outstanding, The rest of the food was tasty, the service was decent although you could see the difference in treatment of the regular and the rest of us. My better half is a coffee aficionado and she really liked the Cuban coffee.

Food was EXCELLENT and Daniella was INCREDIBLE. Very attentive and sweet. Will come back and ask for Daniella to be our server every time.

875 nw 42 ave. location is very near the airport. really great food. very clean place. great wide variety of food. i had fresh grilled fish. even the simple salad was great. they were very busy even in the middle of the afternoon. very popular place.

Great service at a good price. I loved the pork chunks with black beans and rice. It was absolutely delicious. Would highly reccomend

We stopped in for a meal shortly after arriving in Miami. The outside dining was nice and the breeze kept it cool. I had the Cubana Regular and enjoyed the different meats and pickles. Our waitress Leslie was excellent making it a pleasurable lunch.

during visit to Miami, stopped in for lunch, have been here before and was not disappointed. Service was fast and friendly, food was delicious, tasty and well presented. Had the empanada for appetizers and lechon asado for main course, both were delicious. I usually try to make it here for a good Cuban/latin meal while in town and have enjoyed it everytime.

We love to have lunch here when we come to Miami airport. We had a great server, Lazaros, who was friendly and efficient. I had the mango salad which had a wonderful balsamic dressing and my wife had the vaca frita which was very tender and garlicky. Will definitely return the next time we stay at the Marriott.

the restaurant was close to marriott; had indoor and outdoor seating. nice appearance. We were treated very well. large menu most of it spanish. food was average. good family restaurant.

We we’re looking for Cuban flare in Miami and the Cuban Cafe 2000 knocked it out of the park with their blackened Mahi Mahi dish. I would highly recommend!

The service is pretty good. Friendly staff and the food arrived so quick I thought the cooks read my mind. Ample portions and prices going up like everywhere but good value for the money. Definitely better than most

If you want good food at a good price do not miss out by dining somewhere else instead! This is our first visit to the Latin Cafe and will not be our last. You get a full plate meal here so don’t start filling up on the bread and soup although both extremely good may I add. I had the Saturday special Beef and my wife had Pork, both dishes were loaded with meat and we were very impressed. I had the soup also which was a bad move as I was strugleing to finish by the end of the meal. Service was outstanding which matched the food. They also sell Guinness, bonus. This place is a must visit.

This was recommended by our hotel and was within walking distance. We ordered the Cubano and Latin 2000 sandwiches -- they were very good. We ordered the Sampler Plate as an appetizer. The chicken croquettes were very good, but the rest was just okay. We really over ordered food -- did not realize how large the portions would be. The restaurant was very informal and the service was good.

Easy to find Good fresh Cuban cooking VERY good ratio value/ prices Perfect service. A , Cuban speciality restaurant , With a patio, And a delivery option.

We went on a Saturday at 11:00 and the place was pretty full. There were a few seats outside so we went to the patio to enjoy the day. The noise level outside is unreal. The table near us had children who were running around screaming and yelling while mom and dad casually conversed. I'm use to a dull roar but I couldn't even my friend talking to me it was so loud. Our waitress seemed less than happy and didn't even make eye contact with us when she brought the menus. We ordered coffee con leche (she didn't want to let us order coffee, drink it and then order food and rushed us to place our food order....), a cuban sandwich, fish tacos and fried yucca. We got our yucca (way overcooked....) and were disappointed how tough it was. Wanted to send it back but our waitress never came to check on us. My sandwich came out dry and with NO pickles, mustard or mayo. It wasn't even pressed. Cold meat and dry bread. No lie. My friends fish tacos were a mess. All sauce and nothing much else. He said they were pretty bad. No one ever came to check on us, refill our water and bring our coffee. Finally after an hour, I asked a random employee if we could get our coffee please. The waitress brought lukewarm milk and a smidge of espresso, set it down and walked off. I've drank cuban coffee for years, this was a first. It wasn't good at all. I'm open to new experiences, but for a lunch that was mediocre at best, I hated spending the money we did when we could have went elsewhere and got better quality and service. I'm no tourist either, lived 50 years in SWFL so I'm familiar with a variety of ethnic foods. I'm sorry but from the waitress down to the coffee, this was much so less than other places have to offer. I actually hold her accountable as she never gave us a second look till she put the bill in our face over an hour later and her tip came up (we did tip 25% which was wayyyy more than she deserved but the other staff were working twice as hard so it was more for them than her) We then went to the takeout window to order shots of espresso to go and stood for over 15 minutes while the staff ignored us and talked to other people or acted as if they didn't see us standing there. We finally walked off perplexed and a large crowd came to the window just as we left and we had to chuckle as they seemed they didn't want to help us but they got more than they bargained for....lol Maybe you love this place, maybe she had a bad day....but I just don't have money to waste with indifferent attitudes and mediocre food.

This place has a decent selection of food. I went for breakfast on Oct 28. But I did not appreciate fox news being played. This channel has the award for least truth about news they report.

Miami is filled with many, many, many Cuban hotspots. Latin Cafe 2000 hits the spot. They have good sandwiches and fresh juices. If you are in the area of Miami Airport or Lejune this is a great place right off the 836 freeway. Anywhere outside there are other great spots as mentioned. You can order ahead for pick up or order at the window for quicker service, especially if you are getting a sandwich or smaller appetizers.

Among the best Cuban breakfasts I've ever experienced. The coffee is heavenly-I think it rivals Havana. The pastries divine and the eggs, etc. are perfect. The staff is friendly, it helps if you speak Spanish (even a piciito). Prices are moderate and the atmosphere is about as traditional as it can be.

Churrasco with fried plantains and side salad was amazing and affordable. The staff was super friendly and attentive.

On a one night stay in Miami before going on a cruise the next day, hotel staff suggested this place, a taxi ride away. It was a great suggestion, and away from the crowds. We enjoyed Cuban food and beer. Friendly wait staff, quick service, pleasant atmosphere, tasty food, and reasonably priced.

Started with dinner, lots to experience, menu items that for us was exotic. Plantains prepared several ways, and Yuca. All was amazing and a lot of fun to experience food outside our normal foods. Staff was friendly, and our service was great. Our waiter (Santo) contributed to a great experience. We went back the next day for lunch, and had just as good of an experience. Lots of customers, which also says something.

haven't stopped by for a couple of years, but this week got into town early enough to cross the street from the Crowne Plaza. I was happy to see they are keeping up quality quite well. the food is still excellent, servings very large, and prices surprisingly low. I had a couple of Empanadas and a Cuban sandwich, and struggled to finish it. both were top quality and well served. I learned from other visits that if you order a main course, you better bring a serious appetite. speaking Spanish, I enjoy the atmosphere and the banter among the staff, and you always get attention in a moment if you need it. I heartily endorse the Cafe and hope to visit more often.

I was staying overnight at a hotel nearby and saw Latin Cafe from my room. I sat at the bar and had prompt service. I asked about the Cuban sandwich and was encouraged to try the Miami version of the Cuban. The Miami sandwich was delicious and I am glad I tried it.

Visited here in late Nov 2019 with a large group. We were looking for Latin food and ended up based on some recommendations. Pros 1. We were seated almost immediately 2. Servers were very friendly and even though our entire group was English speakers and the servers were almost Spanish speakers they were still attentive and friendly particularly to the kids in our group 3. Prices not bad. I had the Cuban Sandwich and being me took the bigger one. Ended up eating 1/2 and taking away 1/2 Cons Not much really except my wife and some others in the group felt their food was a bit on the salty side

We were staying at the Miami Marriott located just around the corner from The Latin Cafe. We saw it on Google maps and decided to go there to grab a bite - so happy we did! What a fun atmosphere! There was ample seating inside and 2 outdoor areas for seating. We sat outside and had Xavier as our server. He was friendly and attentive. The food was excellent! We had the beef and chicken empanadas and Queso Frito with Tropical Rum sauce. BOTH are highly recommended! We split a Cuban sandwich but were too full to finish it! Check it out for great food at a great price- say hi to Xavier and don’t forget the house made sangria!

This place is more of a diner than a restaurant. The service was poor and the food was not very good. We were disappointed with our choice of going here when there were other redtaurants in the area that were certainly better as we discovered on a subsequent trip.

Went there with a family of 14 for dinner. Got seated straight away. Everyone ordered fairly quickly and drinks came fast. Everyone was thrilled with their food. I had the Filletillos de Res Salteados. Oh my, that was great! I’m looking forward to getting back to Miami to dine there again.

My family always enjoys our trips to Miami. We love Latin food and music. Tonight we ordered delivery from Latin Cafe 2000 in Miami. We ordered an appetizer and three entrees, with specific discussion of the Chicken Churrascos and its optional sides. Low and behold, when the food was delivered, the Chicken Churrascos was missing. When we checked the bill, it had not be entered. We called the restaurant to explain our challenge, one of us didn’t have a meal. The young lady representing the restaurant appeared focus on blame instead of the solution of getting a Chicken Churrascos prepared and delivered quickly. After several minutes of discussion with the young lady, emphasizing we would like to have the meal prepared expeditiously, she was still focused on she was not to blame. We then asked to speak with a Manager, again our focus was merely on an expedited meal. The Manager spoke to us in Spanish and unfortunately, our Spanish was insufficient to meaningfully discuss. I guess the Manager did speak English and he quickly hung up on us. The food was was good, but we have had better in Miami and in Washington, DC.

Nicely decorated with outside seating. Breakfast food was good, came out as ordered. Took abt 15-20 mins & restaurant was less than half full. Not bad for a Sunday morning. The coffee was excellent per my husband. I had a passion fruit mimosa which was very good. Service was not good. We had to flag down our waitress, Ileana, or any other wait staff we could find as our waitress was hard to find. They had plenty of staff for the few customers in there. We judge our reviews on if his coffee cup ever goes empty when eating out for breakfast, his went empty 3 times, disappointing service. We would eat here again if that's all there was, but I would look at other places to try first. Plan on at least an hour if restaurant is only half full!

In the mood for some picadillo? Look no farther than the Latin Cafe. On a trip to south Florida I was really looking forward to some Cuban food. We drove through Little Havana and couldn't find an inviting place to stop. Granted we didn't know our way around, so after driving a few blocks we turned around and headed back to the airport. We saw the sign for Latin Cafe and decided to give it a try. 3pm on a Sunday afternoon and the place was packed. Can't do a better review than that.

We visited that restaurant close between 10 -15 minutes from Miami international airport, we ordered refried chickpeas with sausages (Spain style) with rice and salad, 2 good portions with rice and avocado salad, all was delicious, fresh, the desserts was cuban style beignet with guava syrup, nice place, our waiter Ana Caraballo was friendly and professional, average price, definitely I recommended, we’ll back the next time to enjoying good and fresh meal.

I would have expected amazing Cuban food in Miami. This place had high marks. Both meals we ordered, Lechon asado and Ropa Vieja were very dry and overcooked. They threw a pile of onions on top to add flavor. The black beans were also tasteless. I asked for a little more of the pork juice/fat so it would not be so dry and they brought me a bowl of onion juice.....Very disappointed.

We were in town overnight and this place was recommended by two people at the hotel we were staying in. They have a nice Happy Hour from 4-8pm. I had a cuban beer and a food item off the Happy Hour Menu. My wife had the daily special. Prices were reasonable, it was fast, service (by Manuel) was excellent. Recommend it!

We knew about this place as a recommendation from our Airbnb hosts. The black beans were the main star of the dish for sure. We both had blackened salmon w plantains and veggies and it came with the black beans. I have tried to recreate the black beans since I got home and still haven’t been able to come close to these. Cuban food is so delicious and Miami has some great food !

We wanted something other than hotel food for breakfast and this was close. We were seated promptly. Not much English spoken by our server, so there was a bit of a language barrier. My husband asked if they had chocolate milk or milk and was told no. 5 minutes later in the server station we can see a jug of milk... The fresh squeezed juice was amazing!

Been coming here for many years. Always great food. You can’t go wrong if you wan good Latin food. The service is always good and it always has a nice good of people working.

We were visiting Miami and wanted Cuba food, so we visited to the Latin Cafe. The table was dirt and we had to ask to have it wiped down with a wet cloth. The food came which wasn’t bad. It the real horror was the bathroom 🚽 someone had vomited 🤮all over the bathroom floor sink and walls and although I pointed it out, no one looked seemed concerned to to get it cleaned 🧹 up. My stomach was sick by just seeing it. As I write this review I feel like vomiting 🤮. Run for the hills do not eat here.

We visited this place at the recommedation of the Crowne Plaza staff and it did not disappoint. The food was outstanding and the service was above par. I would recommend to anyone.

I had to travel to the Miami airport yesterday mid-morning, so decided to brave the traffic and grab lunch before heading back to my side of the state. Had researched on TripAdvisor for places to eat, and this one was on the list, so when I searched for close by locations, it came up just 5 mins away form the airport! We were lucky to get a parking place at 11:45 with a fairly busy lunch crowd, and were greeted pleasantly by Sandra. My wife had a glass of Sangria and a grilled chicken dish with chimichurri sauce and plantains, and I had a Cuban sandwich. Both were excellent and Sandra was wonderful. Place is clean, has a locals diner feel mixed with business people. There were managers cruising through making sure things went smoothly and overall this is a "must do" on our next trip to Miami.

I got the steak/beef sautéed with onions and peppers. Probably the worst piece of beef ive ever been served. Could not possibly be drier. Barely any seasoning; for sure a few days old, at best. Yuca and sweet plaintains also did not taste fresh. They were swimming in a broth with a weird vinegar flavor. Terrible.

Mom and I had lunch here outside in the covered tent type seating area. Mom had a chocolate milkshake with her Churrasco - thin sliced skirt steak with delightfully flavorful sauce on the side accompanied by Tostones. I had the half chicken asado- with sweet plantains called Maduros and my favorite Cafe Con Leche. I also had Yucca as a side to my roasted chicken. I loved every bite and mom left smiling. Thank-you for the great food and service.

Our group had lunch and breakfast there. It was pre-ordered by our meeting organizer so they were served family style as soon as we arrived. Must say that I loved the food that was served to us. We had an assortment of their sandwiches for lunch. For breakfast the normal sausage, bacon, ham, eggs and potatoes. Love their Cuban coffee served with warm milk!

We always go to Latin cafe when we want real Cuban food and fresh in Miami. Yami is the best waitress there she always has a smile on her face and her service is outstanding and she gives me the best recommendations. My family and I go there all the time for the best Cuban authentic food in town.

My husband and I come to Miami and stay at the airport Marriott at least 2 times per month and had never tried Latin Cafe. What a shame and we have really missed out all these years. We were warmly greeted and told to sit anywhere we pleased. Water and toasted cuban bread dropped off immediately w a kind hello. Then came Javier to take our dinner order. He kindly took our order w a wonderful smile—clearly likes his job and knows customer service well. We started w the croquetas—some of the best we’ve ever had! Main course was the Churrasco w Chimichurri sauce, accompanied by rice and beans and salad. We asked for medium rare and it was perfection! So tender and juicy—sides were delicious, everything in-house made. Truly scrumptious and we will be back to try something else next time!

I've eaten here many times, as I stay in a nearby hotel and can walk to this restaurant. I've had breakfast and dinner both - typical Latin fare, and it's always been good. Will definitely return. Love the cafe con leche!

I came here to buy some food After watching a movie across the street! I went to the take out area and the service was amazing! The food was delicious and the quantity and quality very good!

We went for a quick coffee and breakfast treat. We sat outside and it was a very pleasant experience. The staff was very attentive. We ordered Cafe con Leche which was very good, Cappuccino also very good and an order of toast. Reasonably priced and good coffee.

Whenever we have to stay overnight near Miami airport between flights, we stay at an airport hotel within walking distance of Latin Cafe, have dinner and breakfast there, and order take-out sandwiches for the flight. They have a varied menu with a wide selection of delicious Cuban food, plus wine and beer. They're open late and provide a casual, relaxing place to unwind from a late-arriving flight.

Bread was excellent, Cuban ham was really good. Try the fried plantains - they are tasty. And the quatro leches dessert was very good. This place is sort of fast food Cuban but very good.

I was greeted nicely by the hostess and told me to sit by the bar area. As I was sitting a lady asked if I was picking up food. I said no. I was told to sit to have lunch. She barely acknowledge me and walked away. Nobody else came for 2 minutes so I left. Place has gone downhill last 5 years. Use to be real good. Avoid

If I could rate a 0 star I would. I went to have dinner with my fiance on a Sunday night and I couldn't believe how they weren't ashamed to present the plates the way they did. My fiance order a grill chicken with a side salad and fries and her salad greens were BROWN. We don't even eat brown salads at our house we throw them away and we go to a restaurant and they bring that plate to the table. On top of that the fries were old they were cold and an oil you could tell it was old because they were hard and brown. How a chef allow for these dishes to come out of the kitchen this way and how come the waitress takes this plate to a table. Please!!!! WE ARE PAYING FOR THIS TO EAT OLD FOOD. Horrible people aren't doing their job right and the fact they don't even care when if it wasn't for the customers the restaurant will go broke. For sure it won't last long providing this type of service. DON'T GO UNLESS YOU WANT TO EAT BAD FOOD

Authentic Cuban? Not unless an extensive sandwich list is what you call authentic. I experienced very sloppy service, food was nearly thrown at us, drinks arrived well after the food did, presentation of the food was also lackluster. On the other hand, its cheap and I guess that’s what I got.

Conveniently located near the airport and freeway, this family style restaurant serves authentic Cuban cuisine. One can tell by the staff who are all Spanish speaking which can be a bit of a drawback too as they sometimes don’t understand what we’re asking for. The portions are great for the amount of money paid.

We had just flown in to spend the night in miami and our hotel clerk suggested this place. This place is very nice, service was outstanding, the food delicious, staff very friendly! Definitely will stop back if we are in the area again!

I’m a rideshare driver from West palm beach who drove past Latin Cafe, after a long ride from Broward county to Miami. Typically after these long rides I need to find a rest stop and because of the time of night the ride ended on, I also needed to find a place to have a good meal. Fortunately I came upon Latin Café Where I not only found a clean rest stop, I also found a hidden gem in Miami with the best fish tacos in Florida. The facilities were spotless, the environment was bright and the service was excellent. I was served three large mahi mahi tacos and I only planned on eating one of them and taking the other two with me, but they were so good I devoured all three, going thru half a box of napkins in the process! As a rideshare driver I get to try restaurants from all over the state and this was a pleasant delight!!

DAIXELYN, is always great and we enjoy having her serve us. I want to apologize to her for mistakenly giving her a thumbs down while paying the tab. As always it's great having her serve us. Until next time, very soon!

Family of 6 had dinner here while staying one-night pre cruise at a close hotel. We choose this location based on it being close walking distance to where we were staying. Service was good, and food was good as well. We ordered several appetizers, drinks, and meals and everyone liked the food they received. Portions were plentiful and prices reasonable. They had a pretty large menu to choose from. We paid about $130 before tip four our group of 6. Our waitress was very friendly, though we did have a bit of a language barrier. We seemed to be the only primarily English-speaking guests in the place, and we did have to clarify a few times on some different things as some things seemed lost in translation. I would certainly eat here again if staying in the area.

Nice coffee and pastry here. Service was and friendly and reasonably priced too. I would definitely go here again. Give it a try.

Visited this restaurant on the recommendation of one of the locals. Great Cuban food. I had wonderful carne asada (pot roast) mixed beans and rice delicious! Very reasonably priced and friendly staff

Wonderful food and service. True Cuban cuisine. The menu is extensive. I have eaten breakfast , lunch and dinners here. Great quick service and wonderful food. Sra. Caridad handled my order perfectly. I will definitely recommend The Latin Café to my friends. Super servicio rápido y comida maravillosa. Sra. Caridad manejó mi pedido a la perfección. Definitivamente recomendaré The Latin Café an mis amigos. Saludos, Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

I wish I had taken more pics, but I was hungry and the food was soooo good, I forgot! Total bill for 2 coffees, 2 meals, with bug buttered bread was $16!!! Service was quick and friendly. We had breakfast....can't wait to come back and try dinner!

This was our favorite restaurant this visit. Food was fabulous and the atmosphere was nice. Not overpriced like many near other places nearby. Worth a visit.

This place is ridiculous, incompetent and rude. I ordered through DoorDash. Delivery took an extra 30 minutes because the restaurant was so slow. Food gets here and I'm missing two items. I call and was told they'd contact the driver. After no response for 10 minutes, I call again. I had to explain the situation to two different people. The second lady insisted I never ordered from them and this is the wrong restaurant and I"m just confused. I read her the receipt and she said I was wrong and abruptly hung up on me. I call back a third time and talk to a manager. He finally tells me DoorDash sent my order in incorrectly which was why it was missing. Fine, I can deal with DoorDash but why did it take 3 calls to get this situated? I let him know his employee told me I was lying about my food and my order and that she hung up me. He said no one there would do that, the call must have been disconnected. I'd never, ever order from this place again. Their customer service is abysmal. Sad because the mango milkshakes were very good.

Near to Miami airport. A great option at any time of the day. Service good, large portions and competetive prices.

Simple, flavorful , nice portions and reasonable prices. Easy & Friendly service. The fried pork.chunks are moist and flavorful. The bread is simple and great as were the rice and beans! The empanadas were very nice with lots of meat. Some hot items were a bit cold but fine. Drinks were decent but a bit small and not great. Would return!
Great Experience with Local Food
In town for a convention and ate dinner here...could not be happier. The food was great and the staff were very friendly. It was a great price for the meal as well.
