I have been a loyal diner for over 5 years at Lowrys in Las Vegas. A few months ago they ran a promotion whereas you buy a gift card, and you get a bonus card. So I went on line and purchased a 100 dollar gift card and 25 dollar bonus card. The email is attached herein. Last evening my wife and I dined at Lowrys. When the bill came (over 200 dollars) I presented this email along with my credit card. The manager came back and told me he could not process the gift card, even though the email said "success". It seems that the gift card number was not communicated. The promo card did come through. I told the manager that I did purchase BOTH the gift card AND the promo card.He told me there was nothing he could do. I was shocked. The email said the transaction was a success. For me it was not the dollar amount but the bad attitude by the manager. They know I frequented this venue very often. Is this how they treat a loyal and repeat customer? For a venue of this type I think he would have been justified to issue a credit based on the email contents. I am both sad and angry. Obviously I will never return to this restaurant. There are MANY other establishments that appreciate my business. Another example of corporate greed.

We have been to Lawry’s over the last few visit to Las Vegas and never disappointed. The service is excellent they welcomed m you the bar area is lovely Art Deco style staff are kind and very helpful. The main dinning area is like stepping back in time a classy Art Deco interior the staff are accommodating very friendly real nice and informative. The food well what can I say you definitely will not be disappointed it’s excellent 5 star never disappointed definitely worth a visit I had the California cut it was excellent and large portions you will not be disappointed it is expensive but you pay for quality which you definitely get well worth a visit.

We love Lawry’s. We are from Michigan and always visit when we go to Chicago. They are now closed so we had to stop at the Lawry's in Vegas while visiting. It did not disappoint. They have the best prime rib anywhere. I am hungry thunking about it now.

Surely the best prime rib I had in town since many years. Perfectly cooked with a very tasty sauce, the bad part is the darkness , too dark inside the restaurant but at the end I strongly recommend it if you like prime rib

I did Lawry’s in Beverly Hills and it was awesome. Lawry’s Beverly Hill looks like a carbon copy of the BH location, but it was not as good. The offering was the same. The menu is diverse but the star is the prime rib. It comes with salad, fixings like potato and Yorkshire pudding. The cut we received was bigger than 10oz as offered and it was good, but not great. Well prepared, but not super juicy or flavorful. The service was professional as expected. This place is popular so make a reservation. There is also a very cool art deco bar. There is too much good steak in Vegas to return to Lawrys...which is a disappointment. Oops...almost forgot. We like a bottle of wine with dinner and we found their wine list to offer some decent values.

Recent trip to Vegas and we decided to try Lawry’s . The waiter was very good at the beginning, he described the history behind the restaurant and the owners, seemed very knowledgeable. The appetizer was amazing as was the salad that they spun over ice at the table. I had the diamond jim cut and it was very good. Butter knife easily cut it. The Yorkshire was amazing and I know my Yorkshire. My only issue with the cut of beef, is that there was a lot of fat, but that is the nature of prime rib. After the beef was served is when the service dipped slightly. Overall good experience and will be back.

If I could give this 100 stars I would. You MUST go for the prime rib. By far, the best beef you will ever have and for an American restaurant, they nail the Yorkshire and the gravy! Cream corn is a game changer for roast dinners. Thank you, see you next year!

Always a great experience at Lawrys LA or Vegas. Service is top notch ,drinks (dirty martini blue cheese olives amazing), lobster bisque so tasty, and what can you say about the prime rib cut at the table!! Sides were so reasonable in price, great value!

For that special old school prime rib dinner experience I highly recommend Lawry’s. It’s different from your prime rib experience at one of the buffets on the strip. You get good quality meat and attentive service. Delicious horse radish too!

What a welcome surprise! I cannot remember a more gratifying dinner experience in Las Vegas. Close enough to the main strip yet far enough to get much needed reprieve. Our table side prime rib service was perfect. The sticky toffee pudding desert amazing, topped off with impeccable service by Pattie Bender & Chris Colby. Thanks so much! We will be back most definitely!

This restaurant and the one in Los Angeles consistently have quality service and delicious food. The operation in LA started in 1938 and the food and decor have remained consistently great since then. The restaurant is off the strip which is nice. There is plenty of parking. The servers and friendly and attentive. The roast beef melts in your mouth. We had: California Cut -for lighter appetites (about 5 ounces) and the English Cut - three thin slices (about 6-7 ounces). All the roast beef is carved table-side. The scent from the beef - MMMMM. The dinner comes with the Original Spinning Bowl Salad - romaine and iceberg lettuce, baby spinach, shredded beets, egg, croutons, and vintage dressing. Delicious! We decided to not have sides and have dessert. Good decision. We had Banana coconut cream pie - smooth and silky vanilla cream with plenty of bananas on a coconut macaroon cookie-type crust. MMMM Key Lime Pie - Beautiful key Lime filling on a graham cracker crust and key lime sauce. The Best. Definitely a go-to place for dinner. Save room for dessert.

We went on the recommendation of our son. The first impression was that it was trying to be a steakhouse diner. The female waiters wore knee length dresses with peter pan collars and aprons. Very 50's diner. The music was also all 50's music. As for the food, my prime rib was perfectly done. (They bring around a large metal contraption and cut your slice at your table to order). My husband ordered the NY strip. His steak was just ok. The salads were soggy and not very tasty. The potatoes were average. I did enjoy the Yorkshire Pudding though. I don't think we'll be back to this restaurant.

Disappointing service. Food was very good but service was slow at every step. Had to wait for menus, drink orders, and food order. Food came out timely but waiter only checked on us during the meal. He actually would look away as he passed our table to avoid eye contact or checking on us. After a long wait he finally came with dessert menus but by then we only wanted a check and be gone. Very disappointed with service.

Well, it was NOT exceptional last night. It was a disappointment from the tasteless shrimp cocktail ($25 -- five bucks a shrimp) to the chewy, surprisingly tough prime rib, which my guest and I both had to request KNIVES to cut. It would have been welcomed, if Steve, our server, had returned to ask if we would like a second drink, but he did not. Our dirty dishes sat in front of us way too long while we hoped to be noticed by staff. Hardly gracious dining.... By the way, we were dressed impeccably, unlike the majority of patrons in hoodies and jeans. So I spent $300 on this dinner, and am feeling like a chump this morning. NEVER AGAIN.

The food was extremely delicious, the fresh bread and butter went great with the lobster bisque, the spinning salad was main and extremely good, the the encore of the best prime rib I have ever eaten. This will be on top of my list next trip to Vegas, be sure to ask Janet she knows the business and how to treat customers, out experience was top notch!

This restaurant is expensive. The food was quite good. The service is very throwback and someone cool. My waiter was great. The prime rib was cut at the table and was quite good. Enjoyable for dinner.

I have consistently lauded Lawry’s in the past for their service, food, and friendly staff. A recent visit has changed my opinion. We were informed after being seated that Lawry’s has changed its menu. Every previous meal, no matter what was ordered (prime rib, steak, fish, etc.) included the spinning salad, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire pudding. However, since November 2019, the only meals receiving these side dishes is the prime rib. All others meals are now priced a la carte. This means an additional $30+ per person if not ordering prime rib. Happen to not eat beef, so this was a problem this his evening with my salmon dinner (great fish, by the way). We have lots of choices for good food in Las Vegas when traveling, and will visit other restaurants instead in the future. Speaking with the manager produced an excuse that guests asked for other side dishes, so they decided to change their policy. I frankly don’t believe this was more than an excuse. As I said above, Lawry’s has always been a go to for good food, consistent pricing, and excellent service. Not so much now. Staff attitudes have changed as well, kind of uncaring.

If you enjoy Prime rib, then stop searching, there is no place better than Lawrey's. I maket it a point to visit every time I am in Vegas. The atmosphere is old school steakhouse, the service is top notch, and the presentation outstanding. Not to mention the food is excellent also. Reasonably priced. What more could you want.

The best prime rib dinner I’ve had in years. Wide range of cuts from thin to uber thick. Perfectly tender and sliced table side to your specifications. The offer a pre selected prime rib dinner that comes with their famous Spinning Bowl Salad prepared table side your choice of prime rib carved table side, real mashed potatoes (not instant) and fresh made Yorkshire Pudding. Ala cart options also available as well as other dishes. The restaurant has that old fashioned upscale restaurant feel. White linen table cloths, chilled salad forks, and an abundance of servers making sure you have everything you need. Staff is very friendly and provides first class service. Prices are on the higher side, about $60+ per person. Well worth the price though.

From the Shrimp to the Prime Rib it was the best we have had anywhere! The staff was great as well everything was awesome!

The place the crew the workers every detail was amazing especially the one who served us he was very gentle and the chef with the cart he gave us high 5 and the best prime i have ever have gonna come back for it.

Great service like fine restaurants used to be, nice quite ambiance, and very good food. Just be prepared to pay of this type of an outstanding restaurant.

Great prime rib dinners n sides are delicious too. Was there for a birthday celebration n service was great too! Glad we had early seating reservations n would have given five stars had it not been so noisy that we could not dine in a relaxing quiet atmosphere after being there for awhile! Too bad they cannot do anything to damper the noise level in such a luxury dining place. The noise level was deafening n could not wait to leave!!

My wife and I both had the “Lawry Cut” prime rib which was excellent. I had the “Prime Rib Dinner” while my wife ordered a La carte. The dinner comes with the “Spin Bowl Salad” which was excellent and worth the extra $7 for the dinner. The prime rib was perfectly prepared and carved for us table side. Reservations are highly recommended.

Lawrys has 4 places in the country and I always go out of my way to eat at one of them when I travel. They carve the prime rib table side. It is fantastic. Prices are reasonable. Be sure to join their rewards program for free desserts and big discounts even if you only visit a couple times a year. They even mail you their great seasoned salt and pepper now and then with your name on the bottle. Their desserts are unbelievable.

Located at Hughes Center since 1997 Lawry's The Prime Rib can safely be described as a Las Vegas icon, and although both Dallas and Beverly Hills have outposts that does nothing to dampen an Art Deco dining room and service on par to what one will find at some of The Strip’s top Steakhouses. Known for Meats carved tableside from gleaming carts, though Certified Angus Steaks and fresh Seafood are also available, Lawry’s experience begins with check-in at the hostess’ podium, a trip to the lounge favored by some while most won’t wish to delay the main event. Lavish without being stuffy, curved banquettes and tables each available, guests dine in a lively environment fueled by Wine or Cocktails poured shortly after the arrival of warm Sourdough Bread. Smart to order some starters, though those seeking lunch in under an hour could surely achieve such with Salad, a Sandwich or Prime Rib plus sides, Lawry’s Shrimp & Corn & Jalapeno Fritters outpace Crabcakes with Remoulade while the “Famous” Spinning Salad is a polarizing experience mostly thanks to the inclusion of Beets. Offering Roast Beef as a full-Dinner or a la carte, the former inclusive of Salad, Mashed Potatoes and overcooked Yorkshire Pudding, the quality of Lawry’s Prime Rib is evident in terms of taste, texture and appearance while additional sides range from luxurious Creamed Corn and Spinach to fairly mundane Fries. Not forgetting extra Au Jus, nor sizzling Mushrooms and Whipped Cream Horseradish for fans, Desserts come at the bargain price of $10 each for Coconut Banana Cream Pie that is heavy on the Cream plus seasonal English Trifle and Sticky Toffee Pudding better than one will get from Gordon Ramsay. FOUR AND A HALF STARS: With locations in Beverly Hills, Dallas and Las Vegas Lawry's The Prime Rib is less a chain than the likes of most “celebrity chef” Restaurants on The Strip. It is also a lot more honest. 25 years serving Prime Rib, Prime Angus Beef Steaks, Classic Sides and Cocktails in an Art Deco room with great service is about as simple as it gets these days and “what you see is what you get” pays dividends.

My husband and I have had the pleasure of dining here two times now. Both times, we had the Lawry's Classic Prime Rib Dinner, and it surely didn't disappoint. They do it all tableside, from making the special dressing in the spinning bowl to carving your prime rib and dishing up your sides. It is quite impressive! They have 6 different cuts for you to choose from. We both opted for the Lawry Cut, and while it is the most popular cut, it is a massive one, so we would definitely choose a smaller cut next time. But it was all so delicious! We also shared the Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding for dessert. The service was excellent as well!!

I have been to Lawery's several times in the past, but wanted to have my 21 year old son have a classic night out for dinner. There were four of us for dinner and were seated right away. Our server was very engaging with everyone at the table and made sure to recognize my son's birthday. Every thing we ordered was perfect. My wife had the England cut, I had the Lawerys cut, my one son had the Beef Wellington, and my 21 year old had The Rose Bowl cut. The best prime rib that all of us have ever had. One of the things that will be remembered is that my son got to expeirence the way going out for dinner should be . A lasting memory has been made.

from the appetizers to the entrees everything was cold. It was also incredibly noisy, our group couldn't wait to get out of there because of the noise level and the seating density. For the price, They tried to pass off a $50 cut of prime rib the thickness literally of a breakfast steak as something called the"Lawry" cut. it was a joke to be blunt. And while the prime rib was good it was far from the best I've ever had in Las Vegas, and for half the price. oh and everyone at our table that had the mashed potatoes agreed... just plain nasty... Even KFC's Mashed potatoes are better. Was really disappointed after the build-up I had heard.

Lawry's never disappoints. Martini's worth a stop, Prime Rib is uncomfortable, service impeccably, Holiday festivity perfect for December. Wine list could be improved though.

Make a habit of coming here every time I am in Vegas. And let me say we were here before the pandemic shut down. I had the prime rib my hubby had the steak. Both were cold. I can usually eat my food luke warm but hubby wants his food hot. Even I couldnt eat more than a couple bites. No one ever came back to check on except to drop off the bill. We paid and left because we arent really complainers. That being said I probably wont come here next time Im in town. plenty of other places

Came here with a large group and the food was fine. Honestly I expected much more, the prime rib was average and this is what they are know for. The Lobster Bisque barely had any lobster in it. Didn’t meet my expectations.

Lawry's was at the top of our list for Las Vegas dining and it did not disappoint. It had been 25 years since our last visit to Vegas and we could still remember dining at Lawry's way back then. We headed back to see if the place still held up. Did it ever! The prime rib is the star of the show. The words "tender" and "flavorful" don't begin to describe it. Add in the presentation and exceptional service and you have yourself a memorable dining experience. For the quality of the food I'm tempted to call it a value dining experience. We rarely eat at places that charge that much for a meal, but we certainly got our money's worth! If you love prime rib, make sure you visit Lawry's.

I would not recommend this restaurant. Upon walking in, the dining area had an overwhelming musty odor. There were ants running around on the bathroom sink and the floor drain was backing up in the bathroom stall. I hope the kitchen was better. the prime rib was an overpriced piece of fat. Could barely cut a piece of meat that wasn’t full of fat or tendon. could only eat 1/4 of the meat. The mashed potatoes and creamed corn were good, but extremely overpriced and low quality meat from a place that says it prides itself on prime rib. The crab cake appetizer was good. The service was good. I would never return or recommend. There are so many other steakhouse options in Las Vegas that are much better.

Oh my gosh! This has to be the best and I mean the best prime rib that I have ever had! We chose the menu set which included: spinning salad, prime rib, mashed potatoes with gravy, creamed corn, creamed spinach, and Yorkshire Pudding...All prepared/presented at table side. We added asparagus and baked potato with all the trimmings (prepared table side and carefully mixed together..so delicious!) The service is excellent and the ambience very nice. For dessert, key lime pie and hot fudge/brownie (prepared table side). In the city of many eateries, this has to be a must try!!!

Delicious prime rib carved table side, nummy spinned salad, creamed corn. Excellent service in an old time atmosphere. Considering the prices for steak at the casinos, very reasonable.

This place is absolutely awesome! I have been here many times - the food and service is always great! And the prime rib- you can cut it with a fork. Absolutely the best! Thanks Doc

Was supposed to be the best steak in town. It was the most expensive. $51 for an 8 oz steak. It was okay, but I can do better on my grill at home. Friends had the prime rib, but again $51 is too much. Then add a spin salad for $10, mashed potatoes for another $10 a glass of wine for another $10 and you are starting to feel like your buying an airline ticket where everything is an add on.

Had New Years Day dinner with a group of 8. Service was great, atmosphere wonderful however price was too high! $4 for a soda water! Food was really just ok nothing fantastic. Mashed potatoes I felt were over whipped and kinda tasted like they may have been out of a box. Spinning salad was nicely prepared but nothing too special considering it is supposed to be a house specialty. Best thing about dinner was the creme brûlée dessert and our service was lovely. Don’t think I would recommend or will rush back.

Service and food are beyond excellent. As a party of 19, we could not have been better treated. Everyone of us were thrilled, and stuffed, when we left. The experience is even better in small groups or as a couple.

We have been to Lawry's Las Vegas more than a dozen times and this time was one of the best. Our server, Collin, was great, could not have done more/better. We tried a different prime rib cut this time, the english cut. It was 3 "thinner" slices and it was tremendous, see photo. If you like Prime rib, give this place a try, it's one of the best!

The prime rib was good, but overpriced. Neither my husband nor myself were hungry enough to eat an entire prime rib dinner by ourself, so we shared, for which we were charged an additional $19!! The oysters are tiny, nothing special, I don't recommend them. The dinner salad was really good, but we didn't go to a prime rib joint for a good salad!! The service was slow & non-attentive.

We had a reservation at 6:45pm and were sat on time. However we waited 20mins at our table before our waitress greeted us and then she said she would be right back. Finally after another 10 minutes we were able to order our drinks. The food was good - I had the lamb chops and there were a bit on the fatty side. Side dishes are family style and the Mac and cheese was the best.

Come to Lawry's for Prime Rib. They now have many things on the menu, but the Prime Rib is what they feature and do best. I had the Prime Rib which comes with a salad, mashed potatoes, and Yorkshire Pudding. The salad was basically a variety of lettuces with a dressing that I found overly sweet. The Prime Rib was sublime. My wife enjoyed the mashed potatoes, and I had substituted creamed spinach, which was basically flavorless. The Yorkshire Pudding was delicious.

I was astonished at the decor when we walked in. I was not expecting such an elegant and posh atmosphere. VERY impressive. Service was top notch. The spinning salad was delicious and the Yorkshire pudding was after my own heart! What really impressed me is that we didn't need to choose what size prime rib we wanted when we first ordered, When the HUGE cart full on prime rib rolled around, we chose our size and how we liked it cooked. The server than preceded to cut us a perfect, delicious piece. We will be back!

If you like prime rib like I do you will be glad you stopped here to eat it. Staff was amazing and very friendly. Food was great the salad oh my wonderful but you have to also have the coconut banana cream pie.

We have eaten at Lawry’s for years, both in Las Vegas and Beverly Hills. The food is always very consistent, the service is Excellent, and when given another opportunity we will stop by again !

I went here for dinner. It has the old steakhouse cool. I like the cart that comes around and they cut the prime rib right in front of your. The server was very nice and the food was quite good.

This was my favorite restaurant in Chicago but I must admit the service in Vegas beats the old Chicago location. This time we had Sarah who was very pleasant and down to earth. Exceptional service! Please ask for her, she was the best server we ever had in Vegas.

What a great dining experience! Lawry’s location right near the Las Vegas Strip and Flamingo Hotel was very convenient. It’s in its own building and valet parking made it very convenient. The interior of the restaurant and bar was very appealing and tastefully decorated. Loved the booth seating in the restaurant. Noise level made conversation very easy. There was plenty of table seating too. Menu gave you the option of getting an entire dinner with sides by ordering the Lawry’s Classic Prime Rib Dinner or you could create your own unique combination by ordering a Lawry’s Classic supplemented by Appetizers, Salads and Accompaniments. We did both! We ordered the Dinner (Lawry’s Cut), that came with Salad, Mashed Potatoes, Yorkshire Pudding and Whipped Cream Horseradish; then added Sweet Potato and Carrot Purée and Crispy Onions! Wow! The wine and bar selections were extensive. We shared a key lime pie for desert. Service was over the top!! The old expression is that “you get what you pay for”. Yes, Lawry’s is a bit pricey but given the entire experience we had, we actually felt WE GOT MORE THAN WHAT WE PAID FOR!

Average is being generous. Nothing special and the service is uniformed. Better places to eat in Las Vegas.

I went to Lawry’s Las Vegas 4yrs ago and it was great. Not this time. We both had the Prime Riband it was not tender at medium. The meat was chewy. I’ve had far better Prime Rib at weddings. This should not happen when you spend $300.00 on a dinner. Not going back!

Went to Lawry's on February 9, 2022. Looked at their menu prices, that were on the email that Lawry's sent us confirming our reservation, and on the email reminding us about the reservation that we made for our anniversary. The total bill was $7.00 more than what we saw on the menu that was sent to us. Gave the waiter, since it was not his fault, an appropriate tip. Went home and called my credit card company and my bill was promptly reduced by $7.00. Lesson learned: Always check the menu prices and what you are actually charged at this restaurant.

A MUST VISIT restaurant in Vegas. Beautiful interior, comfortable booth seats and amazing service. Such a unique experience and the creamed corn is to die for. Definitely recommended for anyone looking for an upscale dining experience. The prime rib is everything they claim it to be .... juicy, succulent and totally worth it.

This was our first time and it was wonderful. We had a 8:45 pm reservation and were seated in back booth. The food and service were wonderful. It’s off the strip and I like that even better. I will definitely try Beverly Hills location when I get back that way maybe in June!

We showed up for a highly anticipated dinner with friends. We were both visiting from out of state. We had a reservation however the hostess couldn’t find it, turns out my wife made the reservation, but for a different month… The Hostess dealt with it in a very professional way and found us a table quickly. The food was excellent ( Prime Rib) and certainly met expectations. Service was excellent, drinks were great. I would recommend this restaurant without reservation for business or fun!

We hadn't eaten here in years as the last 2 times weren't great. We were pleasantly surprised. We had a very nice young man taking care of us. Why the 4 stars instead of 5? I adamantly requested that I NOT be given an end cut. My prime rib and potatoes etc were presented and they left. I looked at the prime rib and it was an END CUT! I had to wait for another cut while my food got cold. No they didn't offer to replace the other items while I waited. It was a disappointment. Once I got the prime rib it was excellent. They even gave me a cake for my birthday which was most considerate.

We have the time I’ve been to Lawry’s was the location on restaurant Road in Beverly Hills years ago. Back then they still had a smaller menu and I left there feeling that it was OK but nothing great. Come forward roughly 10 years later and here we are at the location in Las Vegas. You walk in and everything is beautifully laid out. The bartender made drinks. They were all incredibly on point. The waiter and staff were nothing short of outstanding and the prime rib was incredible. The one thing I didn’t notice and like that, they had a lot more appetizer and entrée options. Then I remembered from the past. This place does have a higher price point but if you have a special occasion like we did, it’s all worth it.

I ate at this same restaurant about 20 yrs ago. I remember it was melt-in-your-mouth good! Unfortunately, it isn't the same especially for what you pay. I don't have a problem paying for great food, but this was sub-par. The Mac and Cheese wasn't anything special, same with the potatoes and gravy. The prime rib was definitely not melt-in-your-mouth quality any longer. The staff was awesome!! They were the best part of the meal. Maybe it was just an off night. 20 yrs ago I would have begged you to go, not anymore. I won't be back.

We love to come to Lawry's whenever we make a trip to Vegas. The restaurant is elegant without being stuffy, the prime rib is always the best no matter how you like it cooked, and the wait staff are attentive and helpful. This visit we were with friends, and 2 in the group ordered the aged prime rib. Both liked it, but said they would probably just stick with the regular prime rib in the future. Two of us ordered the English cut (which is next to the smallest cut) and it was still more than we could eat. It was all delicious! The reason I did not give a 5 star rating was because at the end of the meal we ordered after dinner drinks. The server taking orders asked if we wanted our cognac over ice, not the question you expect to hear when ordering that drink. And the cognac was served in a rocks glass, rather than a snifter. I'm guessing the server was new, and not yet accustomed to various drinks, but surely the bartender would know better. This is a small thing, but normally Lawry's is the master of all those small things.

Whewwww!! What an experience. Date night? Special occasion? Want good food? Perfect dining experience? Any of the above? All of the above? Choose here. I came here with one of my friends and made a reservation. Not sure how long the wait would have been but there wasn't anyone else in the waiting area. We were seated quickly and our server Ariel was energetic and knowledgeable. She was able to give good wine suggestions and food pairings. I don't normally eat meat but I have a few cheat days and since Im on vacation whyyyyyyy not!! We ordered the filet 8oz with a lobster tail and the lawrys cut. I didn't want the second side and i was able to get corn but it is an upcharge and they do charge it as its full side. Now presentation is everything. They cut the meat in front of you...they make this salad in front of you as well as present you with a seasoning for the salad. Food was actually perfect and filling. We had more than enough to take home. It is on the costlier side. Only took my friend here because she deserved it but most of my friends wouldn't make this VIP treatment cut hahahahaha (kidding...maybe...) About $200 for two entrees and two glasses of wine..didn't get appetizers. But again food, fabulous. Reheated the next day and enjoyed it just as much. Had a great experience!!

Likely the most tender piece of Prime Rib I have ever had. Cut it with the butter knife till they brought steak knives. Issue is flavor. Sure you could add all their seasonings but the meat should have some flavor. Wine on the list was not the same year brought to the table.

We dined at Lawry's in November of last year and enjoyed the experience - other than the prime rib was a bit tough. So, we thought we would give it another try on June 18 while vacationing in Las Vegas. The atmosphere is classic steakhouse - very warm and inviting. The staff is outstanding. Very professional and on top of every detail. Truly top notch. My wife and I ordered the 10 ounce prime rib dinner, which comes with mashed potatoes, gravy, and Yorkshire pudding. Now here is where it went downhill. Our cuts of prime rib were unbelievably tough. I mean tougher than an MMA cage fighter. We have been all over the world and I believe these two cuts of prime may have been the most brutal and leather like beef we have encountered. It was a gym workout trying to saw through those cuts of beef, and even harder trying to chew it. Imagine chewing on a piece of rubber and hoping to break it down. It is inexcusable to have "Prime Rib" in the name of your business and then to serve that cow hide for $64. Again, the server was exceptional. The prime rib carver was also professional and efficient. The service here is 5 stars. However, the prime rib is 1 star. So, I give Lawry's 3 stars, but be very cautious. Great service is wonderful, but you still have to provide quality food. Lawry’s appears to be serving a very low USDA grade of beef. Be aware of that, and if you dine here it would be wise to do some exercises to warm up your jaw.

Ashley was amazing. The service was perfect. The food! The prime rib is one of the best we have had. I was with a restaurant owner who tends to get prime rib everywhere and he loved it. We are both in the industry and we were amazed at the beautiful service and amazing food. We splurged and got crab legs for a main, too. Who can afford it anymore but if you’re going to do it. Ashley, you’re amazing and thank you. You truly know your craft and I appreciate everything.

We dined at Lawry's for a second time and it was awesome again. Mrs. Leavitt was our server and she did a great job. One of us had the three tail lobster dinner and one had the beef bowl cut prime rib. Both were perfect and well prepared. The only negative was some bright spark decided to hire carolers for the holiday season and they were very disruptive of the fine dining experience. Should have confined them to the entry way or bar. Other than this, it was perfect.

If you want a place with Old Vegas Elegance and good food, this is it. From the moment you enter the door the place is beautiful. Our waiter was so attentive and knowledgeable of both the restaurant history and the food. We left satisfied with food, drink and a great memory. This will for sure be on our itinerary next trip to Vegas

For years Montreal had Mother Tuckers, only to be slowly killed off by a hockey great, Mike Bossy... Lawry's in Las Vegas was on my to do list... Finally, another establishment that excelled in Prime Rib... The Restaurant was absolutely gorgeous with a slight node to the Art Deco era... Lawry's is one of those places where the price of admission wasn't just about the food, but about the experience and to be perfectly honest it's a well deserved 5 out of 5... Their Calamari is an absolute must if you ever vist... But it all came to a screeching halt... We order 2 Diamond Jim Brady Cuts, my best friend's was Medium and I asked for the Medium Rare. His was like butter, it was so eazy to cut into and me? I has absolutely SHOCKED... I couldn't cut the damn thing and when I did get a piece it was so hard to chew I had to swallow it down in chunks... after the 3rd attempt I got the waiter attention (Devon) I think and explained to him that I couldn't cut this so called famous Prime Rib, he froze like a deer caught in the headlights and recovered by saying we can fix that with a steak knife... after getting the steak knife, he pretty much disappeared for the rest of our evening... now I'm horribly disappointed with my dinner and the cherry on top of this highly anticipated dinner? NO ONE clears the table and the only other time we see our waiter after he delivers the steak knife is when he presents a $200 bill, walks away and still the table isn't cleared... I leave $240 (yup a $40 tip) and as I leave I descretly tell the manager at reception "a restaurant with this kind of reputation should really clear the table before the "addition" is presented... I end the evening waiting for my Uber pulling 3 pieces of white gristle from between my teeth... My thoughts afterwards? An establishment that prides itself on Prime Rib that's so tender, shouldn't offer a Steak Knife as an answer to a inferior piece of beef... My name is Dickie Loo, my reservation was Dec 15 at 5 pm and my contact information is there if you wish to reach me...

I’ve been to lawrrys several times. It never disappoints. The idea that if I want prime rib I can have as little or as much as I want The chef rolls his covered cart to your table. It opens and it is full of amazing roasts You pick your cut and how you want it done and bam your plate with potatoes, gravy ,Yorkshire and wonderful cream corn is in front of you You can have it all It’s great. Oh and don’t forget the spinning home made Caesar salad made table side. A great experience

We are huge fans of Lawry’s. The food is always excellent and the atmosphere and service are terrific. Yes, it is throwback, but it is classy and service is polite, friendly and efficient. Decided to try for lunch and boy are we glad we did. It was much less crowded, much quieter and th.e menu offered lunch options that allowed high quality experience for lower cost and feeling less stuffed when done. Amy and the gentlemen assisting here were outstanding and the prime rib as good as it gets...we will be back and will definitely consider lunch!

Here on small business trip but mostly pleasure. Their Prime Rib is excellent, service always good, happy hour with half price eppies, just everything in a classic steak house setting. Eat here often when in Vegas.

Beautiful restaurant. Service was awesome. Food was superb! The presentation of the food is so unique. I felt like royalty from the moment I walked in and they moved the table out for me to sit. Overall it was an amazing experience and for the price paid it was worth it for such an awesome meal.

We dined at Lawry’s in Vegas tonight as our holiday treat meal. We had heard of it on social media and having had prime rib aboard cruise ships we were rather looking forward to it. We had the French onion soup and calamari to start. Soup got a bit too rich to eat after about 1/3 of the bowl and the calamari came with enough to feed people. We both got the prime rib dinners, me the California cut, my father the Lawrys. The meat was cooked ok but had a crazy amount of white fat which rang some alarm bells. The mashed potatoes were bland and a tad watery. The Yorkshire pudding wasn’t great. Coming from the UK, we have had our share of roast dinners and this kinda felt like a lame attempt. For dessert we shared the key lime pie and it was huge. Way too much for how rich and sour it was. If we come back to Vegas we wouldn’t hurry back. We’ve had better meals at a UK roast dinner chain called Toby Carvery. However, we did have wonderful service by our waitress Angela and the restaurant was very nicely decorated.

Enjoyed a prime rib meal with my wife. Our waiter (Kevin?) was excellent and very engaging. The decor and atmosphere reminiscent of a simpler (better?) time and the food was fantastic. I love prime rib and this was as good as it gets.

We have been to the Lawry’s in California many years ago and to the one in Vegas now twice (the last visit in Vegas was over 5 years ago). We thought that we would give it a try again as their prime rib was delicious….It still is, however, the restaurant itself needs a huge renovation in my opinion and the lack of diners confirms this. In addition, the Yorkshire Pudding was cold and overcooked, the salad done table side was good. The biggest drawback truthfully was the setting.....The interior was musty with an off putting smell; the booths seem outdated and just need replacing. I am sure that the restaurant (like all of the others) was hard hit during the pandemic…but I truthfully don’t see it lasting for much longer. We were there on a Thursday night and it was pretty dead in the main dining room. It is certainly not worth the price we paid for dinner, and we will not be returning as there are much better options for prime rib and steaks in Vegas.

After being in Vegas for my wife’s bday, the family decided in Lawry’s for her bday dinner. Hear great things about the prime rib, it was not disappointing - quite good. The ambiance was decent as well - like stepping into an old time supper club with romantic lighting and unique booth designs. On the flip side of those compliments, if service matters to you - I’d steer clear of this establishment. It took longer than expected for our cocktails to arrive at the table (quite frankly, our drink bill would have been double without the slow service). But worst of all - 3 members of our party got the prime rib cart and the birthday girl ordered from the menu. Our prime rib was served at the table, the cart moved on, and it then took 15 MINUTES for my wife’s food to arrive at the table. The waiter had little communication during this time other than coming by twice to say “It’s on its way”. While we understand things happen, we made it very clear it was her birthday (if the big banner she was wearing didn’t make it clear enough) and would have expected a little more attention/care to her experience (as we will never step into a Lawrys again, nor recommend). To top it off - the checked arrive at nearly $500 for 4 people… it wasn’t that it was a pricey meal - but rather the staff hadn’t looked at our bill and charged us for 6 prime rib (instead of 3). There are 20+ steakhouses on the strip - I guarantee you that you could find better service at most of them.

Went to Las Vegas with family and friends (21 people in all --- ages 25-70). We were celebrating a number of milestone birthdays so I organized a dinner in a private room at Lawry's. It was fabulous!!! The menu was perfect. It included appetizers, famous spinning salad bowl (prepared in the room), the prime rib cart (with each person's selection hand carved table side) and dessert. There were other entree options for a few people who didn't want prime rib. Michelle Rizzo, in Sales & Marketing, helped get everything set up. She was very responsive in getting me information and answering all of my questions. Leslie was our server and she was outstanding!. She was very personable and clearly experienced in dealing with large groups. She was ably assisted by Jared who was delightful. There were no surprises or hiccups of any kind. Everyone who attended enjoyed themselves and I was thanked over and over for finding such a perfect location.

A friend and I went in for dinner on a quiet Sunday night. We ordered a bottle of wine from the waiter. Some time later the waiter brings the wine and I explained that it is the incorrect wine. As he was confused a wine type person (Christopher) shows up. Christopher demands I accept that bottle or a different bottle of a wine. I attempt to explain the initial bottle is a lesser label of the winery and that I do not care for the second wine. At this point he loses the plot becomes hostile and aggressive rudely interrupting and berating me. He even explains that the wine distributor is to blame not the restaurant. I explain the back of house issue should not impact the resolution of customer facing issue in the restaurant. He then disappears all pissed off. Stunned I seek a manager. Whilst I asked the following question "why does Lawry's feel the need to yell at me for their mistake not mine?" Christopher comes running to interrupt my conversation. He identifies as a manager. I ask him what kind a service is this? He becomes more and more angry, threatening and downright mean. Thereafter, he refuses to serve us and suggests I sit down gather my thoughts and leave the restaurant. I get having a bad day but to summarily dismiss two clients is absurd. The restaurant was 20% full after 7pm. The confrontational and angry nature of the management are wildly off putting and defy belief.

We love this place. We usually go as a couple but this year we invited family to celebrate our birthdays and wedding vow renewal. Food and service was awesome and everyone lived their meal.

Although the dinner went down on a very special day, we wanted a regular menu. Not many restaurants have that on that night. I had not visited in over 15 years...good to be back. The service is very attentive. The meat is knock out good! But there was a small disappointment, the appetizer. We ordered fried calamari: the calamari was flavorless, rubbery and every piece was very small and overloaded in a very thick fried batter. Calamari should be flavorful, with a very delicate thin batter. These were not. The opening salad (spinning bowl) is far from special. Come here for the meat, and you’ll be very happy. A great bonus: no disturbing music in the background. Very pleasant interior decor.

My favorite prime rib restaurant in Las Vegas. I always order the Lawry’s cut with spinach cream. For dessert, Banana and coconut cake is the best

We really enjoyed this place. Easy to get a reservation. The food was delicious. We did the prime rib meal. We added creamed corn and it was amazing. Service could be a bit on the slow side (only at the beginning), but I actually enjoyed not being rushed. Our server asked at the beginning if we had a show time to meet. They waited for each course to be down before bringing the next. They have the system down pat.

Lawrys never fails. The wait staff in original uniforms from 75 yrs ago, the spinning salad prepared at your table, the booth being pulled out for in and out ease, the prime rib cart with huge servings of delicious meat, delectable creamed corn, the best creamed spinach, the Yorkshire pudding, bread and butter. Consistently good and I’ve been going for years. They brought a delicious mini cake with fruit topping and whipped cream for birthday. Good getaway from the chaos of the Strip...quiet and lovely.

The portions were very generous myself and husband could have eaten one plate and been full. The prime rib was tender and melted in our mouth. We would def go again. Great drinks aswell.

Not a fan. Description says $35.00-$55.00. Not so much. That being said, reservation on a Sunday night was 45 minutes late.....7:00 reservation, seating 7:44. OK. Ordered Prime rib, Lawreys cut, rare. Salad, very good. No steak knife provided, "because it's aged 28 days, and you can cut it with a butter knife." I couldn't cut mine with the steak knife, I borrowed from my Grandson. My serving was smaller, than my nieces, which was the smallest cut. I cook WAY better Prime Rib at home, which is fine, but not at a restaurant that prides itself on the Prime Rib. Pretty much "All hat and no cattle" for me. I wouldn't return. Also, if they have desert, I wouldn't know, because it was never offered. Too much hype, not enough substance.

We went for my birthday dinner for a great prime rib dinner. That's what they are famous for after all. We were surprised by the number of people there in shorts, obviously not the restaurant's fault; just a little disappointing. Our martinis in the bar were perfect; but potato chips for a snack? Again, a little disappointing. Our table was ready, and we were seated as soon as we said we were ready. It was a bit awkward when they pulled the table into the aisle for us to sit. I thought the waitress was the bus person, as she was dressed like a dutch maid with a starched hat and a big bow in the back; OK, I guess retro is still in. The menu was more about the wine and cocktails than the prime rib; of course everything was extra but did include salad and yorkshire pudding. The server in the "outfit" was helpful in explaining the menu and taking our order. I had the medium cut and my date had the end cut well done. He said his prime rib was just as he likes it. Well, I was expecting perfection in my prime rib and mine did not meet my expectations. In fact, it tasted a bit sour with a freezer burn. Needless to say, I was disappointed. The hostess placed a red ribbon across our table and I found it was because I was celebrating a birthday. Not wanting the singing that I heard during dinner, I removed the ribbon; and thankfully no singing was done at our table. They did, however bring a bunt cake with blueberries and whipped cream with a candle; which was nice but not to my liking.

Nice slow start with some good wine at the bar. Reservation was made through open table, simple, easy with zero problems. My wife is gluten free, no problem for Lawry's. They have plenty options for any allergy. Miss kahsai, our waitress and server was spectacular! Friendly, and educated on the menu and staff. Arturo carved our meat selection off the cart right in front of us. Desert was a simple and refreshing sorbet.

I cannot say enough good things, love the lobster bisque and of course the Prime Rib could not be better in my estimation.

Pricy but some of the best prime rib that I’ve ever had. The sides were underwhelming. If you’re craving prime rib than it’s a must!

Lawry's Prime Rib has been the prime incentive for my attending a trade show in Las Vegas for the past I-don't-know-how-many years. In a city noted for loud noise and flashing lights, Lawry's is a quiet, soothing retreat to a Gilded Age of elegance and grace. I can happily report that they have maintained their overwhelmingly excellence in their eponymous main course...when the "Mini-Airstream" cart rolled up to our table, I chose the cut and degree of doneness I desired. The meat came with an excellent Yorkshire pudding, mashed potato and creamed spinach. Many other side choices were listed on the menu. For dessert, their creme brûlée is proof positive of the existence of a Higher Being.

Dined here on November 1, 2025 with 2 friends. We started with the signature spinning salad bowl and each got the regular cut prime rib with mash potato and cream corn sides. The food was very good but I may have messed up cause I ordered mine medium with pink center and it came out more medium with no pink. If you like your rib melt in your mouth and easy to chew order it medium rare. Other than that it was off the hook as usual.

Lawry’s has the absolute best prime rib. We wish there was one closer but whenever we are near one we make sure to go. We were in Las Vegas for my birthday so we stopped in. Their prime rib is so so good. I always get the same thing. Prime rib and a side of the cream corn. The spinning salad bowl is also lot of fun. The staff took great care of us. We can’t wait to go back.

For nearly two years after seeing pictures one of my friends had posted, I have been wanting to go to a Lawry's Prime Rib. My friend and I finally got to go to the Las Vegas one this week, and yes. It was worth the wait. To start, Jessica who was our server for the evening was fantastic. Very nice, upbeat, always smiling, and knew the answer to everything we had asked about. She was definitely one of the most pleasant people we've encountered. Give this woman a raise. The experience: the whole prime rib dinner thing definitely is an experience, with the custom prime rib cart they haul in front of your table carved right there, to the spinning salad bowl, to the amazing selection of sides. We definitely ordered too much for what we thought were hungry stomachs. Fried onions, wilted spinach, sauteed mushrooms. All really good. The main event: while they have other dishes like chicken and fish and a filet mignon, you're likely there for the prime rib. You will not be disappointed. One of the best cuts of prime rib I've had, so succulent and tender. I usually dislike when I'm given a butter knife to cut prime rib with, since if it's not tender enough, you will have some issues. I usually bring my own folding steak knife for places like this. I did not need to use it. Cutting it's with a plain dinner/butter knife was well, like slicing through butter. Au jus was really nice too, perfectly complimenting the meat, and not masking its flavor like some prime rib needs it to. I didn't even need to use any horseradish, but I did try theirs and it too was great. Creamed corn was perfection, the mashed potatoes with its own separate gravy (not the same aujus) was also top notch. It also comes with Yorkshire pudding which was also great. I was so full, I could not finish that too, but paired with the au jus...bliss. Overall, the atmosphere and ambience of the restaurant is also relaxed and nice. It's a perfect place to celebrate or just have a really nice special excellent dinner. Five out of five.

Delicious place my 1st visit but my husband has been bragging about the cream corn forever I finally tasted it and delicious!!! I had the 3 lobster tails my husband had the prime rib they have great drinks

You go here for prime rib, period. The prime rib choices range from 6 oz. to amazingly large. I had the small size and my husband had the Lawry's standard, which was larger than he thought. The sides are good. We had a bottle of wine that we were pleased with for about $50.

Been many times and always was a 5-Star experience until last evening. Same nice place. Same great service, same great cocktails. Sadly, the star of the meal, the prime rib was less than stellar and not up to the standards of what I have experienced at prior visits or, as to what I can prepare at home. Both cuts at our table were cooked to the proper temperature, one medium and one rare but, both were tough and nearly impossible to even cut let alone chew. It did not seem to be a “prime” cut of prime rib.

Arrived early for a reservation at 6:30pm but was seated immediately. The restaurant is beautifully decorated. The website provides you with a virtual tour that is an exact replication on the restaurant. The dining room was clean but not well lit for my vision. My server introduced himself as Mathias and was polite and professional. I ordered the Lawry’s Cut Prime Rib. This is touted as their most popular cut. The Chef wheeled a cart with the prime rib to my table and carved my rib in front of me. As sides I had the buttery mashed potatoes with gravy and the creamed spinach. Those sides were also on the cart so when he presented me with my prime rib, both sides were also on the plate. I enjoyed the mashed potatoes; I found the creamed spinach to be unremarkable. The cut of prime rib was a bit fatty for my liking. Okay, the Chef cut the rib in front of me so I guess I should have rejected the cut. But this is the legendary Lawry’s Prime Rib restaurant…I would think the Chef would not serve a fatty cut of prime rib. I ate as much as I could. It was not bad, just fatty and it was nowhere near legendary. I read the history of Lawry’s Prime Rib and many of the reviews, so I had high expectations. I have had much better prime rib on several occasions at Lewnes Steak House in Annapolis Maryland. Perhaps there is something to the adage “there is no place like home”. Perhaps this was a bad day (Monday 03-16-29), with the current events. Things were about to close down in Vegas due to the convid-19. I will try Lawry’s again on my next trip to Vegas, but this dining experience was rather disappointing.

My husband hadn't seen his fraternity brother since graduation almost 40 years ago. They chose Lawry's to enjoy a meal and catch up, with us lovely wives! Our server, Pamela Arias, was fantastic! She made our first time dining experience at Lawry's memorable. We all ordered the PRIME RIB which melted in your mouth! They didn't rush us, and we enjoyed getting to know one another and talk about our families. Amazing evening!

Imagine the restaurants from 'back in the day' where the ambiance was sophisticated, the staff perfectly professional, and the food deliciously decadent. That's Lawry's The Prime Rib. The California Cut prime rib, creamed corn, salad, and creme brulee were wonderful - a definite place to eat when in Las Vegas.

The service was great, and the food was excellent. We were seated in a round booth, that was both private and comfortable. We enjoyed the prime rib, lobster tail trio, and the baked potato. It is a short walk off the strip, but well worth it!

We ate at Lawry’s The Prime Rib in Las Vegas and it was very good. The restaurant is located on Howard Hughes Pkwy just off of Flamingo Rd and it was about a 15 minute walk from Caesars Palace. The restaurant has a fire place inside and the they carve and serve the Prime Rib at your table. The prime Rib is very good but not as good as Leilani’s on Maui but still very tender. I had the Lawry cut which is the traditional cut and it was $66. If you want good Prime Rib make a stop at Lawry’s.

I had always wanted to try this place but for some reason never made it, but this visit I was determined. I started off in the bar area and to my pleasant surprise, found out it was full service, so I decided to stay and have my meal there. Service was very friendly and attentive, and the bartender answered all my questions about the menu thoroughly. My prime rib was nice and thick, cooked to perfection, and along with the mashed potatoes arrived piping hot. If I'm ever in the mood for prime rib when I'm in Las Vegas I will definitely go there again. Highly recommended.

My son wanted his prime rib carved at his table so he decided we should go to Lawry for dinner. Our Uber driver confirmed it was a good choice. We started with the shrimp cocktail & the Russian Mule cocktail (my first time) served in copper mugs. It had vodka, ginger beer, a slice of lime & a sprig of mint. I prefer a hot ginger beer which burns your throat, as you swallow it, but it's a matter of preference. We were served hot bread & butter. My son ordered the Lawry cut prime rib served with Lawry's whipped cream horseradish, buttery mashed potatoes, classic Yorkshire pudding & Lawry's famous spinning bowl salad & creamed corn & creamed spinach. Meat has to be well to very well done before I eat it. I ordered the snow crab legs which was not on the menu & grilled asparagus. He shared his salad, Yorkshire pudding & creamed corn. He said it was the best corn he ever ate lol. We finished with the hot fudge sundae & took away the remaining crab. Everything was delicious. Our server was so friendly & knowledgeable. The carving chef, the bus boys, the serving staff were all very friendly & polite. Highly recommended.

Very clean and excellent service and food! Wonderful menu and we cleaned our plates! The meal was so well prepared with the staff paying attention to every detail and catering to your every wish!!! A wonderful experience from start to finish! Loved the atmosphere and the comfortable booths. Nice selection of wines, beers and cocktails.

The best Prime Rib anywhere! If you like Prime Rib, I would highly recommend this restaurant over any other restaurants in Las Vegas. They also have very good service, an excellent wine menu, and it was quiet when we went.

Went to Lawrys last night and ordered their Lawry's cut of prime beef.,cooked medium rare. Meat was incredible. Our waitress made our meal into an incredible dining experience. It service like that which can make or break a meal. My strong suggestion is to ask for the Lawry's cut medium rare and ask to be hoasted by "Sally"she will keep you smiling.

I took my wife to Lawrys for our 30th Anniversary dinner and was not disappointed. We were greeted on time and escorted to our table at which time a velvet ribbon was placed across the table. The food was excellent and the service was excellent as well. The restaurant is decorated in a 40's era theme and the music matched the theme. While somewhat pricey, you won't be disappointed.

Being that many restaurants around the USA has stopped serving prime rib, it was a real treat to dine at The Lawrt’s Prime Rib in Las Vegas. I have found that The Lawry’s Prime Rib restaurants in Norht America reall know how to prepare and serve prime rib The service at The Prime Rib in Las Vegas was outstanding. The prime rib was as good as ever ands the sponner salad is great.

We have been going to Lawrys for over 20 years. They do one thing, Prime Rib, amazing! They are hands down the best prime rib in Vegas. They take their recipes, preparation, carving, and service, extremely serious. The decor and service add to the experience.

Great atmosphere, Bar for drinks were inviting and old school, good to bring a date to. The Prime Rib was incredible, I had the Jim Brady cut, you could cut it with a ford. So tender and juicy. The service was warm and friendly.

This place is going up with prices and down with service. Recent visits we dealt with a disappearing server and cold inedible food. The atmosphere still gives the appearance of upscale, but the quality of food and lack of service seems to be going downhill. The managers should try mystery shoppers and find out for themselves. Sad - as they used to have a good reputation.

OUTSTANDING AS USUAL! There is nothing better than Lawry's The Prime Rib in Vegas. The ambiance, the staff, (Miss Sally this time), the quality of the food, and the friendliness of the staff make for a wonderful meal. My treat to myself on this trip. And that was just the 10 oz. cut.

Have been going to Lawry’s for years until they closed in Chicago todays meal was Horribly service terrible server food was no where close to what it was. Beginning and an end to everything there was a time when the server would sweep the crumbs from your table cloth and now you have to as them to remove your dirty plates ☹️

The best Prime Rib of my life, a 50s atmosphere, super place 100% recommended. invited to return whenever in Las Vegas

his was the first time at Lawry's. We are searching for the best prime rib in Las Vegas. We may have found it. The carve at your table is a cool feature. I would have preferred not having the beets in my salad but i wasn't given a choice. We will definitely go back!

I’ve been here 20 times for comfort food. They now charge an up charge of $9 for creamed spinach. What? Christmas office parties galore which slows service. Lots of staff turnover. Bartender was very good. Michigan man. Mattress D was not on her game and let me sit in the bar and forgot me. Out of house cab...in a steakhouse? Slipping.

Lawry’s The Prime Rib is a great, classic upscale restaurant that never disappoints. I’ve regularly had lunch at Lawry’s for the past few years and have never had a bad meal. Step through the revolving door and you enter a classy realm of dimmed lighting and wood paneling with an inviting fireplace to welcome guests. Just to the right is a nicely appointed and cozy bar. The menu is well rounded but the star is the prime rib and Yorkshire pudding. You won’t be disappointed.

Excellent experience! Our waiter Joe was top notch. Prime rib was delicious tender enough to cut with a fork. The spin salad was chilled and dressing was tasty.

If you haven't had the prime rib, you've gotta try it. Big silver cart arrives at your table and you order the cut you want . Don't miss the creamed spinach. Order extra horseradish. Great wine list. Pricy, but worth it.

Of course the prime rib was excellent, but I was not expecting the perfection of everything else as well. From the Yorkshire pudding to the perfectly presented spinning salad, the perfectly prepared asparagus with the lightest bearnaise sauce, from the Caesar’s salad with the best anchovies like we had never seen before, it was simply a destination. As we were just passing through on a Sunday night, we had not dressed properly or anticipated stopping there. The staff was welcoming and the atmosphere was perfect for all from the 2 wedding parties to the casual couples groups to young to old alike. If it was this exceptional on a Sunday night in the middle of a pandemic I’m pretty sure they have nothing short of a phenomenal celebration experience no matter what the occasion. We got to experience only one meal but we can’t wait to go again and experience more perfection.

Can't go to Lawry's in LA, so the drive to 'Vegas was worth it just to eat at one of my lifetime faves .. .. Perfectly-sized LUNCHEON CUT with creamed spinach and mashed potatoes made it a perfect day .. .. Might have gone to Lawry's 20+ times and the lunch in Las Vegas was one of the best .. .. Prime Rib was perfect and tastier than I remember .. .. I must have really missed the place .. .. My delightful server admitted it is really slow for lunch as most of the businesses in the area are still closed but weekends are pretty good .. .. THANKS LAWRY'S!!

Our group had a private dining experience at Lawry’s for a wedding dinner. Great service, great food, great evening! Typical carving station for their signature prime rib-fantastic! Restaurant was very clean, very courteous staff. Enjoyable experience.

FINALLY got to eat here for my very first time and it was incredible. Being a Bay Area native and growing up eating at House of Prime rib for over 30+ years, Lawrys is hands down #1. Since the covid pandemic, I have not dined indoors for over one year, until I came here. If I was going to dine indoors, it would only be a place I knew and felt safe who followed safety protocols. :) PROS -Outstanding service from start to finish with hostess, host, and our amazing server Matteo -they’re meticulous with covid safety procedures, plexiglass between tables, perfectly spaced out between other diners and super clean here -loved the nice variety of menu options here -there is a lady who walks around with a cart and constantly disinfecting around the restaurant -beautiful Art Deco decor inside -fresh slices of sourdough bread is so good and taste better than house of prime rib -fresh and meaty shrimp cocktail -delicious fresh spun salad prepared at your table -the prime rib is like butter and you so not need a steak knife to cut it. -had the BEST and freshest baked potato ever here -cream of spinach is fresh and tasty -excellent dirty martinis -Yorkshire pudding is delicious and not soggy -I’m a good eater, and the portions were perfect. I walked out of there satisfied and happy. :) This was definitely one of my favorite dining experiences and worth it to finally dine indoors again! If I’m going to dine indoors again, this will be one of the few places that I come to again.

THIS WAS TERRIBLE. The Meat was hardly edible. The fat and bone made it so I literally only had 2 bites. I was with 2 others whose plate looked like it came from a different restaurant. Theirs was the way mine should have been. The GM said she trusts her cooks and it’s too bad for me. HORRIBLE

Our group of 5 adults dined on Thanksgiving at this steak house. Most diners in our party ordered steak. Two of us ordered from their special "Thanksgiving" menu, which offered a full turkey dinner with all the trimmings. However, when our meals arrived, only turkey and dressing was plated. They were minus the mashed potatoes, gravy and cranberry sauce, etc. The waiter was advised that our meal was incomplete and he questioned our memory regarding the menu (not nice). Eventually our potatoes arrived, but no gravy. We asked for gravy, (the waiter, surprised at our request, asked, "au jus?"). Finally, beef gravy arrived, not turkey as was noted on the menu. The cranberry sauce never showed up. We gave up thinking this restaurant could deviate from their standard menu offerings. So our advice, if you visit this restaurant, NEVER order from a special menu! This experience does not make me want to visit this restaurant again.

We loved our dining experience here. The atmosphere, music, “uniforms” of the waiting staff...really fun and a different experience then I’ve had anywhere. Not to mention the food was amazing. The spinning salad, prime rib sliced table side, the mashed potato’s and Yorkshire pudding. It’s all the perfect plate!

Of course Lwry's prime rib is nonpariel. I don't think it gets any better than this. But. The service was, at best, merdocre. The waiter talked a good game but was far less attentive than other servers on previous trips. Lawry's has a dress code but do not even think of enforcing it: t-shirts, shorts, worn jeans, flip flops, and, the ultimate downer - baseball caps. Ruined a wonderful meal.

Went for dinner with business friends. Nice place, nice service, unique tastes. I have 1 punch prime rib, medium rare. Couldn't finish it. Go for the buttered corn, which simply AMAZING. The IPA beer was also excellent.

My husband and I eat at Lawry’s each time we visit Vegas, but this time I was disappointed. The salad wasn’t very fresh and my prime rib was not hot and a bit tough. Our server was wonderful and the atmosphere is nice, but I don’t think we’ll be returning to this steakhouse in the future. For what we paid, it just wasn’t worth the money. Maybe we’ll try the Los Angeles location to see if this is just a management issue in Vegas.

I'd heard a lot about this place and how good the prime rib was. Well its not for me. The whole set up is weird with rib cart being pulled around with the meat carved at your table. I asked for mine to be medium but in my opinion it was rare and fatty, wasnt nice at all. I finished it because i was hungry. The yorkshire was ok but the mashed potato could have been better,it tasted like it had come out of a packet. I wont be rushing back anytime soon.

Lawry’s was a great place to celebrate our anniversary. Staff was friendly, attentive and informative. Food was tasty. Oysters fresh. Prime Rib cooked to precise temperature. Joseph provided great service.

Be careful using your credit cards at this establishment. I had dinner here and my card was double charged. I am aware mistakes happen but I have sent them a copy of my credit card statement proving my card was charged twice and their response was “it must have been your bank”. Never in 21 years has MY BANK double charged me. Yes has vendors double charged me by accident yes. I have never had a issue with a vendor doing the right thing. I’ve talked to several managers and never once received a response. I had to call multiple times and this last conversation with the GM telling me it was my banks fault not theirs was really breaking point. I WILL NEVER dine at any of their locations every again which sucks because our dinner was fairly decent.

Let's start with they lied on phone at booking. We specifically asked if they use MSG as 2 members of our 6 has severe allergies. They assured us that they did not. We arrive and we double check with the sour faced lunch lady that was our waitress and were told that MSG was in all their sauces and dressings. They even put a seasoned salt right in front of the 2 ppl we told them had severe allergies. Clearly our waitress was tired and didn't feel like dressing up in the terrible lunch lady outfit they have to wear. So our 2 guests had to eat dry everything. Now once you took the fake chemical "taste enhancers" out of the food you can taste just how crappy it was. Who knew the lunch lady vibe they push was going to include terrible cafeteria food as well. It was truly the worst meal we ate that trip. Not worth the price as I would not have fed it to the dogs. As expected our 2 party members got ill that night, which we are assuming means that their food was compromised. 2 days to recover and it ruined our trip. Never again. Couldn’t pay me to go there again.

If you think you're going to have a quiet, elegant evening then don't waste your money here. They do not enforce their attire standards that are post on their website. My wife and I were appalled at the noise level in the dining room we were in, you might as well be at Applebee's. So for us getting dressed business class attire, we saw people wearing shorts and t shirts, tennis shoes, sweat pants and shirts. The highlight of our experience was a female patron screaming at the top of her lungs and other patrons jumping up from their seats, running to where the screaming was coming from, again an example of how the standards have been lowered. At this price point I was expecting a bigger and better cut of meat, the sides were mediocre, mashed potatoes and cream spinach. Again, don't waste your time and money by dining here, I guess this explains why they only three locations. (wink wink go to Morton's or Ruth Chris's if you want a elegant dining experience.

Lawry’s on Thursday night was excellent as always. We try to get there just about every trip we make to Las Vegas. The service is excellent, the venue a pleasure to spend time in and the prime rib cannot be beat. We typically have a couple sides, maybe an appetizer and dessert, but we were not overly hungry Thursday evening. The “plain Jane” meal actually comes with plenty of sides along with your choice of a portion of prime rib. Along with a bottle of wine this makes for a perfect meal.

The Prime Rib was OK but too greasy. The pudding is far from being good. Found the hall kind of old fashioned, the silverware is not in line with the prices, not even a decent knife. There is no soul nor accountability for the performance of this place. Visited the restroom and smelled bad. This place is no longer worth visiting.

I've dined at Lawry's Las Vegas several times and always had a pleasant dining experience. The food is good and the price point is reasonable given where you are. The last time we ate there was on July 11th, 2022. Our waiter was Joey and he did a nice job of serving us. The location is a little bit off of the strip, but not far. If you stayed at the Westin (or near there) you could easily walk there.

I try prime rib in many restaurants when I travel and Lawry’s is, hands down, the most awesome prime rib I have ever tasted!!! The spinning salad is great, as are the mashed potatoes and of course the prime rib, served as it is, at the table, is outstanding! The cuts offered and the doneness are superb as is the aux jus and the gravy. Cannot say enough about the meal or the desserts! Would highly recommend, but have to warn that this is not a fast food outlet, but rather a leisurely meal. Will definitely go again.

Excellent prime rib dinner with very attentive service. Very old school supper club type atmosphere. Prime rib and sides comes table side on a large cart and is cut right there at the table. All of it was good, the prime rib, the creamed corn and the mashed potatoes. They also "spin" a salad at your table. Definitely recommend and come hungry, the portions are large!

I have eaten in this establishment on many occasions, it was excellent but not this time, I wanted the Beef Wellington, but was told it was a special vary rarely on the menu, I have eaten it on my last three visits! Not impressed, and the food was average to say the least, not going back!

I have read many reviews about how great the food was here. I beg to differ. The waitress got my order completely wrong. I didn't think it was all that great. The mashed potatoes tasted like they were instant, the gravy they used was not good at all. The prime rib was good and the creamed corn was delicious. I could have gotten a better meal for less money somewhere else.

Our daughter had her wedding reception there 21 years ago. It was amazing. This time, sadly it was amiss. The potatoes I swear were from a box and the gravy from a jar. The corn wasn't creamed. It was lumped. The prime rib was okay, not great. I had to use a steak knife to cut it. Ironically, I was told it wasn't needed. Had it been so. The room is also moldy.

Stayed at the Westin right down the road and was looking for a good prime rib. This place is a 10 min walk from the Westin and did dinner at the bar. Prime Rib was great and service was very good. Price was better than places on the strip and even more of a reason to stop by - Did not get busy till 8 or so and I'd recommend reservations for parties more than 3. I will go back if I stay at the Westin!

We are locals and I have had a few business lunches at Lawry’s but had never eaten dinner there. My wife wanted prime rib so I made a reservation. First off the art deco decor is over the top. Our waitress was amazing she played the 1940’s waitress to the tee. My wife and I ordered the prime rib dinner (Lawry’s Cut) with two extra side dishes. The food was amazing. The service was amazing. Really it was more of an experience than just a meal.

The best prime rib you will get any where! We always enjoy the cutting of the prime rib right at our table.

Love their prime rib and ribeye entries. Not a great fan of their salad and Yorkshire pudding but their root vegetables and mashed potatoes are excellent. Somewhat overpriced now that any entree besides prime rib is a la carte with no meal options. This was not true in past years.

We've been here three times and always order the prime rib. It's as good as it gets in the USA except perhaps for The Prime Rib in Washington, DC. We've always had polite, prompt and good service. There is a choice of rib portion sizes so there's no need to order more or less than you want. It's as good as the original in LA was in it's heyday and it's easy to park and is centrally located near the strip.

The prime rib here is really good, and not too expensive for steak. Everything else is mediocre. The shrimp tastes frozen, the Yorkshire pudding's somewhat dry, the salad's an afterthought. The place seems old-fashioned and even smells old and musty. Still worth visiting for the steak.

While visiting Las Vegas decided to visit Lawry's to avoid eating at a casino again. My family and I had the best meal in a long time, possibly best prime rib we've ever had. The prime rib, sides, salad and drinks were all excellent. Best of all was the attentive, friendly, efficient service provided by Ernesto and Terisia.

Excellent restaurant. We were a party of 6 and we all had the prime rib which we all thought was outstanding. The service and staff were great and so was the atmosphere.

This review is twofold...one for the meal that I had and the other for the entire experience that I had with my three other buddies. We were on a guys trip and ate here on December 15, 2023. Joseph "Joe" was our waiter and did an excellent job. 1. I was the outlier and ordered a filet and baked potato. I don't love prime rib and do love steak, so that was my order. I ordered it medium as I like a little pink but not much. My three friends all ordered a cut of prime rib. The carving cart came by and each of my friends got their meal set before them. It was another 10 minutes at least until my steak and potato arrived. Not the best timing for all of us to enjoy our meals together. The negative about this review is that my steak was hardly cooked at all. It was cold and very rare. Since it had already taken so long to get my meal, I did not send it back but would have on another occasion. 2. My friends very much enjoyed their prime rib dinners and again, the service from Joe was very good. So, would I go here again. Yes, if others wanted to but I would not order a steak if everyone else is getting the prime rib.

As always the food and service were excellent. It’s never disappointing. From the bread , to the creamed corn to the Prime Rib and mashed potatoes, it’s always fantastic.

A perennial favorite. We have returned to this restaurant regularly for over 20 years. The service, food and ambience have been consistently excellent. This trip our waiter (Matthias) was great, he had a great attitude and he was right there when we needed something. It could not have been better. Many thanks.

I would have liked to have given this restaurant a higher score, but……… A few factors cause me to downgrade. I ordered a steak well done. It arrived rare. Having said on ordering, that if it arrived pink it would have to go back, I did not feel that the restaurant had been misled. I was told when it returned that someone else had received my burnt offerings. Not a good excuse, and not good for the lady/ messenger to convey the excuse. She made an excuse because second time around the steak was still bleeding. I asked for the manager. I suggested they butterfly the steak. “Oh no, not here….we dont do that….” Well, to avoid an issue, I dissected the steak and asked that he try again, plus not to send a waitress out to apologise when the error wasn’t hers. He fudged that Some time later, ( by which time my husband had finished his prime rib) a cooked steak arrived. . The vegetables were delicious. Great mashed potatoes; perfect sautéed spinach; wonderful cauliflower cheese, best we have eaten in Las Vegas. The other tedious factor was the air conditioning. Over our booth, it was arctic. Even our ears were very cold. Twice, after requests it was adjusted, but only for brief periods. Service was exactly how we like it. Non intrusive, but there. The price of the steak was deducted from the bill, but why not get it right? Lovely lady who served our table, apologised for it all, but none was her fault . We tried this restaurant. We usually go to Hugo’s Cellars in Fremont. Guess where we will be next year?

Last night we dined at Lawry’s in Las Vegas. This is a wonderful old institution that is slowly fading away. I think there are going to be only two or three left in the US. Anyway, the restaurant in LV still looks and feels as if you were in 1960. It’s a real retro trip. The giant Rib Carts are still pushed around the room, with your prime rib hand cut tableside. The menu and wine selections are much less due to Covid and all protocols are still being followed. Our server, Garrett, was attentive and friendly, but tended to rush us through our meal. My wife hadn’t even eaten half of her salad when he stated the cart was on its way. Wine prices are ridiculously expensive, but it’s the Vegas mantra. The Prime Rib was excellent , served hot and perfectly cooked. You now pay extra for creamed spinach or creamed corn. Oh well, everyone is trying their hardest to make money. If you are looking for a great piece of Prime Rib and are willing to pay, this is still a great retro experience. I think most of Lawry’s clientele is slowly dying off, so go soon and enjoy this blast from the past.

This is our go to place for prime rib. The $16 plate sharing charge is well worth sharing the 22 oz cut. Loved the spinning salad bowl. Given cold forks to eat with I took my brother for birthday celebration. The gave him a piece of lemon Bundt cake. Very classy. Also loved the shrimp corn jalapeño fritters for an appetizer.

My husband has eaten at Lawry's the Prime Rib since he was a youngster in California. It was always his favorite restaurant. This Las Vegas location is no different. The prime rib is absolutely delicious! So tender and flavorful you could cut it with a fork! We have been to Lawry's for years and always had a wonderful experience.

Been meaning to go for years when in Las Vegas. Finally went and it was excellent. Used to love Sir Galahad’s at the Excalibur. Now I know where their approach originated - Lawry’s the Prime Rib! Could cut the prime rib with a butter knife, the service was friendly and personal, and the restaurant was beautiful. We’ve been looking to recreate an old favorite and found an even better special occasion restaurant. We will be back every time we’re in Las Vegas.

Great prime rib and sides. It is always nice to have dinner there during Christmas, it has great food!! The dessert was yummy too.

I'm not American so maybe this is normal, but I found the steak very odd. Rather than order your steak they bring most of the cow to the table (that's what it seemed like) then carve what you want. Thickness is easy but I'm not sure how they cook different parts of the cow to different levels? You then get served this with runny sides - mashed potato, and creamed corn. It seemed like it was designed for people who couldn't chew? The meat tasted fine but I don't think I'll come back - I prefer a more traditional steak.

Well the prime rib and the service lived up to its reputation, best prime rib we ever had. Pricy though a party of 6 of us came to 500$. The rib was melt in your mouth tender and flavorful, only negative was the out edge of the rib cut had a toughness to it like a thin tough membrane but the rest was delightful. The creamed corn and mash potatoes with gravy was shockingly delicious, not so much the bread though. We found vegetable sides a bit undercooked for our liking. The staff was very obliging and polite and treated everyone like royalty. If you can afford these prices this is a go to experience, the men in our group all had the largest cut and were very filled in the end, the women had the Larry cut and it was just perfect for them.

First time coming for lunch. But wont be the last. I had the turkey platter with enough food for lunch and dinner. Hubs got the Prime Rib so I got the best if both worlds. Turkey platter came with stuffing, mashed potatoes, creamed corn and gravy with a side of cranberry sauce. Cant wait to come again

This is the best Prime Rib I have ever had in my life! If you order Prime Rib, you get a signature spun salad that is served chilled, mashed potatoes and gravy and bread and butter. They carve the Prime Rib right in front of you using a giant cart they have. But they also have other signature items as well. Get ready for a wonderful dining experience!

This place is always a favorite. If you love Prime Rib this is it! It never disappoints. Wait staff was wonderful and food was excellent!

Lawry’s was definitely our best meal of our trip, but it was also the most expensive. Be prepared if you are bringing a group of people, because this is definitely “fine dining.” We met friends, had a leisurely meal, and didn’t feel as if we were being rushed out. The staff was spectacular, and we even received a birthday dessert. If you like prime rib, this is where you want to go!
Always a Treat
Any opportunity we can get to dine at Lawry's is a treat. Sally was our server, and she could not have been more pleasant and service oriented. Enjoyed all of the Lawry's staples and, as usual, everything was perfect in taste, temperature, and presentation. All staff seemed to be working hard to assure a calming, beautiful atmosphere, including the bus staff, host(ess), carvers and valet. Convenient to the strip, just a couple of blocks east on Flamingo. Free parking, too!
