Yummy

By mobob202 |

Wonderful breakfast/brunch place. Tasty savory crepes and sweet ones, also. A very nice french cafe style restaurant. Very good coffee drinks.

Would return for breakfast

By pedsnephron |

Good breakfast options. Easy to walk to from downtown hotels. Fast service. Tables set up to serve couples. Large groups may have limited access.

Nothing Amazing

By NurseEsther |

The food was alright. We had a crepe with salmon on it and the salmon did not taste fresh. They brought a container of sauce for the crepe probably to cover up the bad taste. I won't come here again.

Big portions

By Jemmy T |

Try the crepe for breakfast. The portion is quite big. The taste itsel just ok not the one that make you want to comeback.

Excellent breakfast, brunch, lunch spot

By KPNEAustin |

Very nice selection of choices....a hearty or sweet crepe....well made, quite tasty. Good coffee, good tea choices....they serve wine but didn't go down that path.

Breakfast

By 171Scott |

We went for a quick breakfast downtown and some coffee. The place was small, but it wasn’t crowded. The coffee and crepes were great. I had a crepe with ham and Swiss cheese and then a sweet one with sugar and butter. My wife had one with some type of fruit.

Perfect

By Brandon K |

These crepes were amazing! I had the Nutella one which the waiter said was one of their most popular and it lived up to the hype. Seating was a bit confusing as there was a storm rolling in and 80% of their seating seemed to be outside but we sat under the overhang and were fine. One of my favorite breakfasts I’ve had on our trip!

Savory and sweet crepes in a cute little bistro-type environment

By Happy_Go_Lucky_UT |

We enjoyed both the savory and sweet crepes at this little, quaint, bistro-like restaurant. The small tables and tight seating are charming- feels like you're in Paris. The crepes were large and delicious and fresh. We had to wait for a table, and they let you sit in the lobby of the hotel next door, so it's pretty relaxing. I'd definitely go back!

Full of Crepe Goodness

By DanaSmith8 |

Definitely deserving of its name, lots and lots of crepes to choose from. From sweet to savory you will find a good variety and there's one for everyone (unless one hates crepes of course). There is seating outside and inside so have your pick if the seats are open. I had a Chloe's Crepe which is nutella, with strawberries (or bananas) served with whipped cream. The crepe was a good size full of nutella and strawberries. The tart strawberries were a good contrast to the sweet nutella. I wish I ordered a second one in a different flavor just to try something else as the first one was delicious.

NOT COZY BUT GOOD

By tuttifabi |

le cafe crepe is near a huge parking sono problem for the car the wall full of french street plates of Paris or Nantes small place you can see from your table the cook doing the crepes i choose the mushroom -spinach crepe for lunch and my daughter the crepe with the strawberries and whipped creme it was really delicious the crepe was tasty and the food was also very fresh the service quick so if you have a quick lunch go for it .... affordable and delicious ... enjoy it when you come to Austin it gives you a little taste of Europe in the heart of america

Tasty crepe brunch

By jamusaba |

We were in the mood for a light meal and wandered into this crepe cafe located next to our hotel. The establishment offers mostly outdoor breakfast/lunch menu of savory and sweet crepe. Tried the Greek crepe which was great and a meal in itself. Also tried a sweet crepe a la mode which was topped with fruit and a dollop of ice cream. Liked it too. The ambience is relatively informal and service and price was ok.

Great Crepes. Great for Breakfast Lunch. Fast Friendly Service. Sweet & Savory Crepes. Reasonable Cost

Great food!

By bwang20874 |

Came here for dinner with a friend after a conference in convention center. It is a few minutes from the convention center by walking. The food was great! The server was friendly and helpful. The price was mid-range. I will consider coming back here.

Who knew crepes can be THAT good!

By gaga10 |

Finishing my lunch here on a busy day during SxSW. Despite of being extremely busy, those people don't compromise on quality of food and customer service. A crepe of the day - the crepe with mushrooms and shrimps - almost made me cry from delight. What a great place to visit!

So cute!

By Saraladida |

This is a cute place to have brunch at while visiting Austin. The food was great, and the little patio outside was not too cramped, so you felt like you were sitting in a very cozy atmosphere. Would recommend to anyone who likes tasty food. The only thing that was a bummer was the fact that parking is impossible to find.

Great breakfast food and service.

By Erica G |

This was our first restaurant in Austin. I know what you are thinking you picked a French restaurant in Austin. We did and it was great breakfast! Everyone in my party loved their food. I ordered a side small fruit salad and it was the best fruit salad with lots of different fruit and it was fresh!!

Mega Camp

By LizAlmeida |

The best crepes ever! Never disapointed! If you are looking for a nice dessert, breakfast or lunch this is the place to be

Pretty Good for Crepes

By drmillerlg |

Crepes are tasty, or at least they can be. But I don't like paying $12 for a thin pancake. However, my wife was up for trying Le Cafe Crepe when we were looking for a quick breakfast. Besides, you cannot eat tacos every morning. We split The Hampton - turkey pastrami, blue cheese, spinach, avacado, tomato and green onion. We also shared a fresh fruit bowl with strawberries, bananas, honeydew melon, apples, and blue berries. The crepe was good but it wasn't stuffed. Interesting aoli helped. The fruit was fresh and flavorful. Pretty good for crepes

The Best Breakfast and Staff

By jphinme |

I was in for a conference was getting a late breakfast. The atmosphere is very nice to have outdoor seating, but it was raining. The menu is fresh. The food was incredible fresh. And to have the crêpe along with the scrambled eggs was delicious. I’ll get 100% Kudos to the staff as well. I would recommend this any day anywhere for breakfast. Perhaps lunch as well

Mind boggling bad service

By Sierra B |

The service was just terrible from the get go. Sitting for ten minutes w no drink order taken for breakfast, then being asked if we were ready yet. Food was ok, coffee bitter. Every table around us was experiencing the same lack of service.

Good Crepes, limited seating, terrible parking

By Phyliss Webb |

5 people ordered crepes with two mimosas and the check total was $64. The food was hot, fresh, and tested incredible. The restaurant was cramped and we had to park nearly one mile from the restaurant.

C’est Magnifique!

By Donald W |

In Austin for a conference, I and my wife returned to Le Café Crêpe for dinner last night. We had been there several years ago and enjoyed it; we were just as pleased this time. Run by French proprietors, the Café has a true French café atmosphere with a focus on crêpes, of course. On this visit, we got the basic crêpe with ham, cheese and (very) fresh green onions. We also ordered the pomme cannelle crêpe as a dessert, asking that it be served after we finished the savory one. We received outstanding, friendly service in a very pleasant atmosphere and an ample meal at a very good price. The Café is in easy walking distance from the Austin convention center, adjacent to the Hampton Inn. This is a great little place in the ever growing city of Austin!

a nice surprise on a hot day

By Cynthia U |

Austin at 100+ is not the place for sitting on the patio. However there was some space inside. this is a tiny place so go early or late. the crepe was quite delightful.

Not Paris

By gscizz |

You can’t mess up a crepe so I’ll give them that. Don’t order potatoes because it was out of a freezer bag that tasted like cardboard. Coffee was good, had the breakfast crepe which was good, my wife had the Nutella crepe, always a hit. Swing in if you like crepes but don’t waste your time if you’re looking for ambiance.

A touch of Paris in Austin.

By Bill M |

Quaint, French Cafe with excellent coffee, crepe's and croissants to die for and friendly, attentive service. One of the highlights of our trip.

Fabulous crepes, great service!

By Mary Ellen H |

Our waiter recommended the special... a crepe filled with fresh mozzarella, basil and topped with potatoes, creamy scallops, ham and egg. It was outstanding and it came with soup. My husband got the Crepe Paris and he enjoyed his, too. Kitchen was nice and clean and the wait staff friendly. I highly recommend!

Breakfast

By Rog J |

Crepes, savoury and sweet. Good breakfast deal. Endless house coffee. Dine inside or out always very popular

Crepes lunch

By Robert R |

My wife and I had lunch here after our bus tour of the city. Overall, very very good. We shared the Crepe de Paris entree and the Sweet du Jour dessert crepe. Both were excellent. Definitely will return on our next visit to Austin.

Good but a little pricey

By maggiet0813 |

This is a small cafe in downtown Austin. It is always busy. They have outdoor seating available. There is a parking garage basically across the street. We paid $6 for 1-1/2 hours. There are salads, croissants, savory and sweet crepes. They are all a good size as you can see by the pictures. Each crepe runs from about $9-$12. Available to drink are coffee, hot chocolate, sodas, and tea. We spent $47 for 2 adults & 2 kids for lunch.

C’est Magnifique!

By Judy K |

Small place but lots of choices and friendly service. Good cofffee!! The owners are French. Try the Brie and pear crepes—la fromagere. They are not overly sweet because of the Brie and very delicious. There is patio seating but was raining the day we went. They have a number of savory crepes and other breakfast and lunch items including salads n

The real deal

By Gregg B |

You must visit this restaurant for breakfast and have the "morning crepe" and a cappuccino. Tres magnifique! Lots of delicious choices on the menu. Service was very good. Tiny place with cramped limited inside seating but many tables with better elbow room out on the sidewalk. Loved the message at the bottom of their guest check: "Merci y'all".

Rude host

By WarningWolf |

I’ve been here a few times mostly a good experience. A friend spilled a small glass of water on the table early in the visit. The host acted like he was really put out when we asked for a towel. Then the waiter brought me a crepe I didn’t order acted put out as well. Disappointing. Poor customer service. $$$$

Fantastic Brunch

By Matt B |

The cafe crepe is a great spot to grab brunch downtown. I showed up on Sunday morning around 10:30 and had about a 10 minute wait. There is both indoor and outdoor seating (I sat inside). The inside has really unique decor of old French signs. Of course, you go for the crepes, and they were fantastic. I got mine filled with ham, cheese and veggies, then topped some maple syrup on because why not! I would recommend Le Cafe Crepe for anyone looking for something different and delicious in Austin.

Great Coffee and Crepes

By Jeff M |

Just had breakfast there this morning. Service, and coffee were great. My wife had a savory crepe and I ordered a sweet one, both were delicious.

Good for breakfast and gets you away from the hotel

By Andrew S |

Good breakfast location (and lunch and dinner). It gets you out of the hotel and the hotel prices. Highly recommend the apple/cinnamon/ice-cream crepe. Nice coffee as well. Service was decent and prices were modest for the neighboorhod.

Packed on a weekend morning which speaks of quality

By Julia C |

If you think people go home to the burbs on weekends away from a city's downtown, think twice. They drive back in to this great restaurant. In town for a wedding, we drove in to the downtown to a packed cafe. Fortunately, we did not have to wait long. Some of the best crepes I've ever eaten. Would go back.

delicious crepes

By april m |

Our party ordered both sweet and savory crepes at Le Cafe Crepe. Both styles were delicious. The portion size was larger than I was expecting. The prices were very reasonable considering that this restaurant is downtown near high end hotels. I would definitely eat here again.

CRÊPE TO START THE DAY

By Miles Archer |

Neat place. Pleasant. I was hungry, for breakfast. I ordered The Eiffel crêpe: chicken, bechamel, asparagus, provolone, tomato, basil, sun dried tomato pesto. Lots of very tasty food. Reasonably priced. A good way to start the day.

Friendly cafe, delicious crepes and mimosas

By Karla W |

Visited on a Sunday morning for a leisurely breakfast. They accommodated my “eggs and bacon only” scramble request- and our kids enjoyed tasty crepes. (My son even ordered a second plain one!) Highly recommend. All the servers were super friendly and patient with us.

Weekday lunch

By Lorraine B |

We shared a savory and sweet crepe and they were both delicious. The crepe itself was perfect and the sweet crepe was not too sweet - the kind that makes you instantly reach for your water. The savory crepe was not oily and it's clear they use real butter. Seating area inside is a bit small but you won't be disappointed.

Great breakfast stop

By texastide |

I like their choices of sweet and savory crepes. My favorite being the cinnamon sugar with whipped cream. They have a breakfast deal that comes with a fresh fruit cup and either coffee or tea. I ate here day after day during my stay. You may have to wait in the hotel lobby for your to-go order. Very close to the convention center and many of the conventions were envious of my meal. Delish!

Amazing service

By GoPlaces819750 |

I am frequently dining in this cafe. Fresh style crepes with different flavors are even better than in France! I also wanted to mention the Alex and Isaac, providing incredible service! Every one of them is very attractive. They made my experience unforgettable!

Excellent

By Rhiar23 |

I stopped in here for breakfast and was duly impressed. The crepes are wonderful and the espresso is top-notch. Definitely worth a visit. The inside is a bit small but there is ample outside seating. It's a great place to linger over crepes and espresso.

Excellent Breakfast

By Vanessa S |

The omelets are delicious and are served with a nice fruit salad. The Chai tea is very nice and creamy. They offer inside and outside seating. We ate here 3 times during a five day trip we enjoyed it so much.

Never gets old...

By Katherine A |

I love this little crepe place. The food is amazing. My favorite is the Classic ham and Swiss crepe. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. And the coffee blows away every coffee shop in Austin. No comparison. If you're in the neighborhood, don't miss it.

Very good breakfast,

By Ryan |

It’s a small cafe so seating is limited but it worth having to wait. I had a ham and cheese omelette it came with a side of potatoes. The menu is full but limited as in plenty to choose from but not your basic breakfast options. But all you have to do is ask and they will make you whatever you want.

Wonderful find in downtown Austin

By Monica I |

On a corner in downtown Austin, you'll find this little corner of Paris. With a wide variety of savory and sweet crepes, and delicious coffee, you can't go wrong. Really cute interior displaying french vintage signs; and friendly and attentive staff. Worth a visit. A word of warning: the crepes are delicious but filling. Bon Appetite.

Authentic!

By Julia S |

My husband and I really enjoyed this restaurant! We wanted something different than the typical Mexican or American style breakfast and this hit the mark for us! We got one sweet and one savory crepe to share! We were both stuffed! My only complaint was that I ordered orange juice and they brought it out in a bottle. For such a cute cafe I would have liked it in a glass even if not fresh squeezed.

Crepes? For lunch?

By JJBialek |

Didn’t know where to grab a bite and this was next to my hotel. Really good food and was nice to sit outside and enjoy the awesome weather. Greek one. So so good.

Quiet small resturant with Excelent Crepes and Excelent Service

By Tis_Brian |

We were in downtown Austin and had wanted to try Le Cafe Crepe. We went for a late lunch. The food selection of both Sweet and Savory, today for us it was Savory. I ordered the La Piperade - Proscuitto, fresh basil, egg, cheddar, mixed bell peppers, sun-dried tomato pesto Spouse ordered the The Crevette - Shrimp, garlic sauce, sun-dried tomato pesto, provolone, fresh basil, avocado, spinach If you watch the kitchen carefully you can see them expertly preparing the wafer thin crepes. The time it takes to make these fresh tasty treats is very short compared to other meals elsewhere. The crepes were delivered steaming hot and were perfectly made. We will definitely be going back next time we are in downtown Austin.

Great coffee!

By raenugent |

Picked up a coffee and croissant en route to the convention centre. Delicious, quick, great service!

We keep coming back here. The food is great, staff is friendly and helpful, prices very reasonable.

By Runyasha |

We keep coming back here whenever we're in town. The food is great, staff is friendly and helpful, prices very reasonable.

Very pleasant and great crepes

By Michael G |

I was in town with my daughter for a college visit. I let her choose. It was her trip. She's on the picky side. I'd have been fine with bacon and eggs. She wanted crepes. I didn't complain, even though crepes aren't really on my breakfast radar. The small cafe is very bright and pleasant with attentive, but not overbearing service. The crepes we ordered were very tasty and presented artfully. The cafe au lait I ordered was delicious as well. It's a must do for breakfast in Austin.

Delicious

By Katilda B |

Ive never had a nutella crepe... But I ordered a Chloe crepe and my husband ordered Norwegian crepe... I'm not in for seafood crepes but mine was 😋 delicious

Delicious crepes for a meal or dessert

By Dianne W |

When it comes to dessert, we love to stop by Le Cafe Crepe for a fruit and chocolate crepe. Yummy. However, it doesn't seem to hold its taste if you take any home to eat the next day. Best to eat at the small restaurant or nearby.

Great Breakfast or Lunch Stop

By Rebecca B |

Excellent food and friendly service. We sat at small table for two inside and received prompt service. I had a latte and the smoked salmon crepe. It was delicious and worth the wait due to the crowd. Definitely a must.

Fantastic

By Dream51374525219 |

Great food Great coffee and fantastic service! Best place in the area around the convention center.

Yum and great coffee

By CreveCoeurMo |

We tried to get into a different fancy breakfast place, but couldn't bear the wait. Lucky for us. Le Cafe Crepe is outstanding. Everything is very fresh, the service is personal and they make great lattes. This is at the top of my list for next time we are in Austin.

Tourist trap

By GoWolf7 |

Poor service, mediocre food at best, the serving staff ignores you as you wait outside to be seated. Will not go back again.

Excellent food-horrible service

By Queenjjd |

I stopped here because I like to try local places and the crepes drew me in. Unfortunately, you can’t go in. You have to wait outside to be seated (a sign on the door says so) and I stood outside the door for a bit in the heat waiting to be seated and they were not busy. They had a group of six outside and two inside. I was served water immediately and that was the only thing that came out fast. I ordered a lunch crepe, the Normandy which was huge and tasty! It was full of chopped chicken and there added plenty of sundried tomatoes and avocado. It took a bit for someone to take my order and then my order was ready but it took a bit for someone to deliver it. Again, they were not busy. The man who looked like the owner or manager just stood around directing staff and then disappeared. My waiter stood around talking, staring into space and drinking Perrier. No one ever refilled my water. Two more couples came in after me. They had to ask for drinks they ordered after they were served food. One man got up and had to ask to order. Another man, who was outside had to come in and ask for his check. I put my fork down and looked outside for a full eight minutes waiting for someone to see I was done and was ready for my check. I decided not to order dessert because I didn’t have all afternoon.

Love the Crepes

By Kathleen d |

A wide variety of crepes, sweet and savory. Casual atmosphere, good coffee. Love the sauce they give for the savory crepes.

Delicious crepes and hot drinks

By PittFamx4 |

You can’t go wrong ordering a sweet or savory crepe at this restaurant. (I do wish they had a sweet and savory option where you could get mini crepes to try different ones.) Their chai tea and mochas were on point as well.

Great breakfast

By scottmckenna18 |

Had breakfast here because of a friends recommendation and it was great, friendly service and great food. I had the crepe de Paris with ham and it was wonderful, my wife had a sweet crepe with apples cinnamon and ice cream and she loved it. Highly recommend.

Delicious and interesting

By drmst |

This was so much better than eating another hotel breakfast. The staff were friendly and attentive. George the owner teased our 11-year-old with an offer to wash dishes in exchange for free breakfast. We had the Greek, Norwegian, and a sweet crêpe with strawberries and orange ice cream. They were all delicious.

Delicious crepes and terrific service

By Ruslan Kozaev |

I've visited this wonderful crepe café just recently. I had the Eiffel crepe. It was very tasty. The café itself is very clean and the service is terrific. The café is family owned by a father and son, who originate from outside of Paris, France. They were super nice, and let me have a sweet crepe with lemon filling for free after I had my savory crepe. I've also tried the croissants there. They too are very fresh and delicious. This café is in downtown Austin, and I recommend them for their wonderful crepes, croissants, and great friendly service.

Delicious! Oui!

By SwaySlayer |

After sussing out a few cafes on my first morning in Austin, I settled on Le Cafe Crepe based on the yummy menu. And it was a brilliant choice! First off, it was one of very few places in Austin that do a decent tea (I’m not a coffee drinker so finding somewhere with a good English Breakfast was a win!) and the food was absolutely delicious. I ordered the three cheese omelette with cheddar, tomato and spinach, and it arrived perfectly cooked with a little fruit bowl accompaniment. On my second visit I again ordered the omelette and treated myself to a croissant. I don’t say this lightly, that it is one of the best croissants I have ever eaten in my life. Flaky, buttery goodness oh my! I ate here multiple times as it offered good value for money and great service. It can be busy after 9am during SXSW so be prepared to wait for a table if you’re not there early. Merci Le Cafe! La nourriture était délicieuse

Delicious light breakfast!

By Sharon Z |

This bright and charming little cafe has great coffee and delicious food. I ordered the bruni, and hubby had the Greek. Both were generously filled with wilted spinach and cooked tomatoes (obviously made from fresh). This delicious light breakfast was perfect.

OMG must visit!

By Cdn_traveller59 |

Looking for a fresh, delicious breakfast option? Try the breakfast crepe (egg, spinach, mushrooms, onion, tomato, swiss cheese plus a side of fresh fruit for $9.25) here! Did I mention the best coffee, and the wonderful omelettes, too?? Great alternative to heavy breakfasts or (yawn) breakfast sandwiches. Convenient location to major downtown hotels and opens at 7 am weekdays so you have the time to eat and then get on with your day.

Delicious and filling crepes

By Christina N |

Their dirty chai latte was delicious! We got the shrimp crepe and the smoked salmon one...both came out surprisingly filling. We got side of potatoes but didn't even finish them because the crepes were so good! Very tasty food. Great intimate atmosphere that made me feel like I was definitely in a European bistro (cramped, loud, but everyone was very nice). Definitely worth the stop if you're nearby and hungry! During SXSW on a Tuesday morning it was about a 15 min wait which wasn't bad at all. Totally worth it if you like crepes!

Wonderful

By laddiebuck |

Looking for delicious crepes or croissants?? Look no further. Delightful French cafe with outstanding light bites. We loved it.

So much deliciousness

By Tricia E |

Le Café Crepe is a tiny bistro that serves up big French flavor! I had the classic crepe with Swiss cheese, ham, béchamel sauce, and green onions. Each bite brought back happy memories along the Sienne. For lucky Austinites, if Paris isn’t on the menu, Le Cafe Crepe can be.

Eh

By Audrey N |

On the surface, this place seemed great but it was obvious that they were too busy to give consistently good service. I ordered the Eiffel Crepe and a Croissant with ham, egg and Swiss cheese. The crepe was good but the Croissant had too much egg and was over cooked. I was uncomfortable sitting on their chairs.

Breakfast was Amazing!!!

By 667pamelab |

I had the lemon Crepes and my Daughter had the Cinnamon Crepes I had Coffee and she had Cinnamon hot cocoa!! Great service and good food!!!

Will return

By susan-lincoln |

Had a savory crepe as it was lunchtime. Friendly service from start to finish. Prompt as well. Good value and potions. Being in Austin for a few days plan to return for a sweet one too!

Delightful breakfast

By Jen W |

Good food, good service, cute little patio seating area. This was lovely. Even my friend who had lived in France approved. :)

Food was amazing!!

By Kirsten D |

We stopped in to eat brunch. The food was amazing!! We had the breakfast "The Classic" and "Chloes crepe" (pictured). They were large so we actually shared. The food is amazing so do not let the decor change your mind. It was a little crowded with furniture and the kitchen seemed a bit messy. Some would say it would add to the character. I felt a bit claustrophobic.

Crepes like we had in Paris

By RDMiksch |

Excellent for a brunch option. Crepes seemed very authentic and quite tasty. Great coffee and very good service.

Great coffee and breakfast spot

By KGSellers |

Excellent lattes here, as well as really good breakfast options. Croissants are great. The dining room is small, so it can suddenly get very crowded during the morning rush - arrive early! Breakfast is served all day. Very reasonably priced, especially if you’re staying at a nearby hotel where breakfasts will cost you decidedly more.

Crepes in Austin

By Bleu-I's K |

Nice outdoor seating and delicate crepes. I enjoyed the daily special crepe made of turkey, Swiss, and mushrooms with a side of salad and a glass of wine. Good place for brunch or lunch.

Good French Breakfast

By Quigs23 |

Small tables - big groups had issue with seating. Good hot coffee & Chia. Crepes obviously the specialty. Meat & Sweet crepes. Salmon Croissant with avocado.

Delicious crepes!

By Curlymomma |

My friend and I were walking around Austin and stumbled upon this treasure. Small restaurant, but we found a seat and our crepes arrived quickly. We shared a hazelnut with strawberries crepe as well as a cinnamon and sugar crepe. I enjoyed the hazelnut one more, but they were both good. My friend had a mocha coffee and said it was amazing. Prices were very reasonable. Highly recommend!

Emily in Paris (Netflix ) type of restaurant.

By Hueque |

Emily in Paris (Netflix ) type of restaurant. Really good service ( meme) and good good. Also, they follow all safety COVID rules. You fell like eating in a crepes restaurant in Paris. Similar to those in the Netflix series.

Reasonably priced offerings, not far from J.W. Marriott

By fantasy_sports_fan |

I stopped in to this little gem when I was visiting the Austin area for a conference being held at the J.W. Marriott in downtown Austin. I happened to stop in for lunch and grabbed a couple of cinnamon crepes for a lunch meal. Menu prices were very reasonable. Indoor seating is a bit sparse, but was plenty of the lunch period when I visited. A few outdoor tables are available though as other reviewers noted, you may find yourself being visited by some of Austin's homeless if you are eating outside. Food was very good and didn't take long after ordering to hit my table. Wait staff was friendly and checked back to make sure I was happy with my meal. They were also pretty quick to bring the check as they saw I was finishing my meal (and needed to get back to the conference). My only real complaint is that I wish these folks had locations in my area. ;-)

Delicious

By Samantha R |

This place has an awesome selection of savory and sweet crepes. I had breakfast here and found the service and food to be really nice. The crepes were delicious. Highly recommend this place if you are staying downtown and interested in a quick spot for breakfast with good food.

Excellent! FYI, they close mid-afternoon

By Sharon B |

AMAZING food choices! We wandered up for a late lunch and they were so close to closing time that they offered take out but couldn't seat us. SO HAPPY we took them up on it, WOW the food is worth it! Check the menu, it's epic. Enjoy!

More than one time!

By susan-lincoln |

Had a savory crepe as it was lunchtime. Friendly service from start to finish. Prompt as well. Good value and potions. Being in Austin I returned twice more. Tasty egg/ham sandwich croissant then afternoon treat of a sweet crepe too!

Great crepe!

By scott v |

Just walking around downtown. Beautiful afternoon so decided to stop here, sit outside and try a crepe. Prompt friendly staff. Ordered the brie, pear desert crepe. Very, very tasty.

Crépes Devine!

By morgana m |

My son took me here for the first time and I absolutely love it! I was reminded of being in Paris, one of my favorite places in the world! We each ordered a different savory crépe. I added smoked salmon to mine. They are willing to change or add quality ingredients to your crépe. It was big, filling and so delicious! The 3 of us shared a dessert crépe a la mode which was sooo good! Even though I was stuffed, I had to eat it! I look forward to going back next time I’m in Austin!

Glad I found this place

By littlebit0863 |

I stumbled upon this place looking for a lunch break while at the convention center. So glad I did. It's a small cafe with indoor and outdoor seating. The hostess stops you at the door and asks for your party size and then finds you a table, which I really liked because this place was small and packed. The staff kept stopping by and making jokes with the kids. I had an iced mocha (delicious, I could've drank 3) and the greek crepe. Kids shared a nutella and banana crepe (the chloe) and for the first time ever at a restaurant they asked for seconds. I would definitely recommend this place for any time of day.

Great breakfast

By bulls_i |

Great location, good coffee and great variety for crepe. We tried savory and simple sweet one. Both were great, with quality ingredients. The fruits salad was plus.

Perfect lunch spot

By sbej |

Stopped in here for lunch while at boat show. Crepes are delicious-we split a provencal & la fromagere. Atmosphere is charming, service couldn’t be better.

Surprisingly good

By Faith P |

You wouldn't really expect a good little French restaurant in the heart of Texas, but this was surprisingly good. Delicate, delicious crepes. Perfect coffees. Great value. Efficient though not overly attentive service.

Delicious!

By Cay N |

Great crepes! We had one apple and one nutella which we shared among 4 people (because we had recently eaten a large dinner). The staff/service was excellent, but parking is very difficult. I doubt we will ever return, but only because it is too difficult to get to. However, if you are in the infamous 6th Street Austin area (on foot), I would definitely try this place!

Excellent breakfast

By barbarat2592016 |

I had an excellent butter croissant. My daughters had excellent crepes. (And I am French!) Very nice and quick service.

Great Italian Savory Crepe, neat place

By TrippinTaylor |

Wandered in with a rumble in my belly, late lunch on my mind... the Italian Savory Crepe saved the day... great take on it in a crepe.. highly recommend... convenient to Convention center.

Plastics tastes better

We went there because of high score on trip adviser. Unfortunately the food was very disappointing. We took crêpe de paris et crêpe provençal. Both lack any flavor, which they must knew since they provide an intensive dip alongside the crêpes (?!). The fillings were very bland and it was not possible to differentiate them. Coffee was drinkable and service mediocre.

Surprisingly good!

By Jerry S |

We were in Austin on vacation and stopped at Le Cafe Crepe for breakfast because it was convenient and looked interesting. There are a few tables on the sidewalk. The inside walls are covered with an assortment of French street signs and product signs. There was no French music and I didn't see any berets, so the French theme only goes so far, which was fine with me. The three of us had the breakfast special which included just-right portions of scrambled eggs, potatoes, bacon, fresh fruit and two crepes. The fruit was particularly good, everything was fresh and recently prepared. Service was quick and efficient. The next time I'm in Austin I hope to go back for one of the lunch crepes. The descriptions sounded delicious!

Bon Appetit Y’all!

By irishmist1 |

Went here for breakfast, and it was a nice change from the same old-same old breakfast fare. I ordered a savory crepe with eggs, spinach, mushrooms, onion, tomato and swiss cheese and it was really delicious! It came with a nice bowl of fruit and was very reasonably priced. The owner is from Paris and some of the waiters have lived in France, so the espresso macchiato was also done well. It is a French cafe with a Texas twist. My friend ordered a sweet crepe, the one with butter and sugar, and it was way too sweet. She was a little disappointed, and sorry she had not gone with my choice.

LaCrepe was fair Left out the cheese in crepe and staff didn't give a flip

By Ramona S |

Food is okay; I would go with the omelets here; the Capuccino's are great! The crepe that i ordered was supposed to have cheese in it; no one came by to check on us so I scooted mine around on plate; the mushrooms are canned not fresh; it was tasteless to say the least; when they did check they did not offer me anything else; will not be back

Fun Little Discovery

By Strategy |

Quant little spot tucked in among the higher end hotels. Cute little signs and decorations straight from Paris. Definitely worth a try...

Not a Big Place

By EltonWG |

There is more sidewalk cafe seating than inside. But ... the crepes are all prepared to order, the price is right, and the service very good. Worth it.

Very slow service

By 504in404 |

I ignored the warning sign. A solo diner ahead of me asked the host 4 a table outside. 10 minute wait he said. All but two or three of the tables were empty. I was seated quickly and then forgotten. Two solo diners next to me were seated after me. Both got menus and had their orders taken before me. Had to ask for a menu. Ordered. Food took a while. Waiter noticed me looking around as my solo-dining neighbors received their food quickly and were done eating before my food arrived. Once it arrived it was delicious. Crepe with eggs, bacon, caramelized onions. Spoke to someone who looked in charge. He apologized for things taking so long. When I left, there was a healthy line of people waiting to be seated. Most outdoor tables were still empty. Not sure what was going on. There were free tables inside. Guess this place has issues.

Savory Crepes

By Aileen H |

This place provided a great lunch stop in the middle of our conference day. I got the one with shrimp and spinach. We had to eat outside - it’s 104. They had a fan and lots of cover. The service seemed fast considering the lunch rush. The crepe was served with a tasty cream. Overall, much cheaper than eating in the convention center with very high prices. Fresh ingredients and nice, unique menu choices.

Yummy early lunch

By TexasAggie94 |

Stopped by for a late breakfast but they stop serving @ 10:30. No worries - we split a yummy Classic! Not too much béchamel, which was a plus for us! When we ordered an iced macchiato, he made sure to point out it wasn’t like Starbucks! We really appreciate that! Decor all came from France - super cute corner cafe. We would definitely come back to try something sweet!!

Excellent

By Chloe N |

A little small and crowded, but the food and drinks totally make up for that. The décor is cool and the wait staff were all very friendly. Got a crepe, of course. Our waiter really helped me pick out a coffee-based drink I would like, since their drinks are not like Starbucks, they are the real deal.

Breakfast or Brunch

By Cath |

We visited twice, coffee was good for both visits We had sweet and savoury crepes, all of them were very good. Also had, savoury omelette, which was delicious

Very nice outdoor dining - very good food

By JoeNathan9249 |

Nice place for a spring, summer or fall outdoor meal. Three of us ate outside and it was very nice. VG crepes and croissants. Inside dining space is fairly small. If outside tables are available and weather cooperates, I defnitely suggest outside.

Ok food poor service

By mel19802016 |

The crepes were tasty for the most part the fruit came on top of the crepes which made them soggy. The crew were taking a long time to seat people and they ask people to wait outside in the heat.

5 star breakfast

By deflep71 |

Amazing breakfast! Excellent selection of both savory and sweet crepes. Service was great. The food is definitely worth a visit.

Horrible Service

By Maranda A |

I went here during a convention, where the restaurant was understandably busy. We were seated by a very sweet woman, who possibly was the owner or someone higher up. I order an iced coffee, with soymilk, as well as a savory crepe from our waiter (who was a younger guy). He brought over my iced coffee, and wanted me to try it and see how I liked it. And that was the last time our server waited on us. No joke. Every single item that was ordered was brought out by someone who was NOT our server. The coffee also didn't have any sort of milk/sweetener in it. The crepes came out, they were ok. I didn't really like the coffee, but our server never came back for me to say anything about it. But, what he did do was wait on the table behind us, ever so attentively. He would go over to them and ask how everything was and if he could get them anything. Did he ever once come over to check on us? No. I shouldn't have to flag down a waiter to have them ask us how our food is. The other funny thing was, we sat at our table after finishing our crepes. I made eye contact with our waiter multiple times, but he never came over. Finally, the woman who initially seated us, came over to us after noticing we were just sitting there, and asked if we needed anything so we asked for the check. She went to our waiter and said we wanted our check, to which our waiter nodded, and went over to the computer and acted like he was putting in our items/printing our bill. Five or more minutes pass, and she comes back again and asks if we got our bill yet, and we said no. She was the one who finally gave us our check, not our waiter. But get this!!!! As soon as I signed the paper and we got up to leave, guess who immediately came over to our table to look at how much tip he got! Our waiter. I will NEVER come back here. I was so appalled at how we were treated in comparison to the guests behind us. -- 2 stars ONLY because of the sweet woman who helped us.

Food was great, the wait was not

By Mick751 |

If speed of service is your priority, you will not enjoy Le Cafe Crepe. Also, if bringing a large group (we had 7) expect a wait. Although, we ended getting seated outside after a 30+ minute wait, which was odd because we could have been offered this immediately as that area was vacant upon our arrival. The coffee was good and offered a variety of specialty coffees that had quality presentation and ample size for the money. We got a variety or sweet and savory crepes. I had the La Fromage sweet Crepe and it was terrific. It contained pears, walnuts, honey, and Brie; the combination of ingredients complimented each other very well. Would most certainly order it again.

Good food & good prices

By LisaFoxJC |

I ate here four times during the two weeks I spent in Austin. The relatively small menu offers a great variety of meals. I only went there for breakfast or brunch. My two favorites were the omelette with spinach and tomato, and the scrambled eggs with bacon and crepe. Both included a very nice cup of fresh fruit. I'm not sure what the interior dining area is like, as I always sat out on the patio. Umbrellas over the tables provide nice shade. The wait staff was very friendly and prompt. My only criticism is that the management didn't seem to provide adequate staffing for the volume of customers. This restaurant is very close to the convention center, and the place got more and more crowded as our huge convention attendees learned about it.

Gum chewing seemed urgent

By ellen m |

Everyone was chewing gum from the host making coffee to servers and cooks. This is public health violation and unacceptable for a restaurant.

OMG YUM

By Jonas T |

You don't have to put a crack in my arm like the Liberty Bell to get me to tell you that I love crepes. You know, those thin pancakes! This place is absolutely first, not last. If you have a hankerin' for dessert style crepes, they've got you covered with about a dozen varieties to choose from. Feeling a mite bit hungrier and need something more fililng? Plenty of breakfast type crepes to pick from. Want a more gourmet meal, there are about eight other options to consider. Fresh squeezed juice, coffee, or mimosas will put a spring in your step. Enjoy the outdoor seating or table indoors if you want a break from TX summer heat. Delicious all around!!!

Le Cafe Crepe is enticing

By JNYCwriter |

Le Cafe Crepe is enticing with a nice outside eating area and offering something different than your standard breakfast. Le Crepe starts off with coffee which was really quite good. However, I was not a sold on the crepes which were thick and a little heavy compared to others I have tried over the years. Mine had an egg and then much of the sausage toppings and cheese dropped on top. It was not a refined offering. Nonetheless, the staff were pleasant and it was something different.

A great selection of sweet and savory crepes.

By Alfonso M |

Fresh ingredients and a friendly staff, makes this place a must for downtown Austin. You will not be dissapointed!

Savory or Sweet, you can't go wrong

By porter_osborne |

My wife and I really enjoyed Crepes here. We shared on savory and one sweet crepe. It was really more than we should have eaten, but we did it anyway. Good location downtown. Some reviews about slow service could have merit. we ere in NO hurry and were inside, so it was easy for us to get folks attention. Give it a try.

Good

By AnAnthropologist |

This was a pleasant surprise in downtown Austin. My classic crepe with ham and cheese was almost as good as I’ve had in France except that it much more ham and cheese in it than crepes typically have in them in France. A good value too.

Perfect for breakfast, lunch, or brunch

By Steven L |

Crepe's do not make me think of "full" but I've never left Le Cafe Crepe hungry. I especially recommend the breakfast special with crepe, cup of fruit, and coffee for under $10 (slight price increase since last year). Eat outside on the sidewalk if the weather allows. Mellow.

Yummy Nutella crepe

By Doreen S |

Close to the convention center, went here one morning before my meetings and had a yummy nutella crepe with strawberries and mocha coffee. Everything was delicious. Wish I went a second time!

Fun but dull

By Candice L |

Great idea and some good options but over all very small and poky which yes, does feel authentic to France! I felt they should have had a Vegan pancake crepe option and I also didn't think the staff seemed overly interested. Definitely worth a visit.

Crepe ala mode, delicious

By HowIReallyFeel |

Delicious Crepe ala mode, excellent prompt service, clean restrooms. Outdoor patio available. I enjoyed Learning Café Crepe.

Excellent food

By BillyBob66 |

Food is very good, as are the crepes. Outside patio area would be your best bet on a nice day. Worth a visit.

Fantastic

By Stephenie P |

I spotted this place earlier in the week and waited all week until we can go there for breakfast one morning. It was phenomenal. My husband had breakfast crêpe and I had a sweet crêpe. It was hard to choose which way is best. It was definitely worth the walk. We sat outside on the patio. Weather was awesome. And we had a friendly chat with couple at another table. I would definitely recommend it

Quaint little crepe place!

By Chandana Shilpa R |

I had The Eiffel crepe. It was simply amazing. No complaints whatsoever! I must mention that I had the best mocha at this place. It is served with a little bit of whipped cream on the top. Went there another time just for mocha :) Highly recommend this place.

Great crepes, but...

By Анастасия К |

Let me start by saying that the food was really good! Everything was tasty, but we were seated at the broken table I literally had to hold the broken part with my foot while we were eating. The high chair for a baby had a broken harness , even the glass container for sugar and spices placed on the table was broken... the house blend coffee had only one free refill and we couldn't get even that because the server was nowhere to be seen. Disappointing experience considering that the food was delicious 🙁

Not great

By David T |

Expecting good crepes but was disappointed. Instead of stuffing the crepes with fruit it was just put on top and the crepe was not lite but heavy. Cappuccino was excellent. Would go back for for the cappuccino but not the crepes

Perfect breakfast!

By Jutta Z |

We had an excellent breakfast on a sunny morning - it really felt like being in Paris. The crepes were delicious and the coffee soo good.

Good Crepes, Nice place to eat

By deedeetoo |

We had breakfast here, kids had sweet crepes, I had savory crepes. Would have preferred if the savory crepes would have been made with traditional buckwheat batter, but the crepes were good and plenty for breakfast. I would certainly eat here again!

Lunch After Bus Tour

By Robert R |

We stopped her on our walk back to our hotel and the tour bus. They have a good location about 3 blocvks from the visitor center. We shared the Crepe de Paris (with bacon) entrée and the sweet du jour dessert crepe. I am not a big crepe fand but really liked the dessert crepe. My wife loved both.

good quality crepe

By agbells |

My friend suddenly wanted crepe because it was across the street. We went, he ordered a plain crepe with fresh berries and vanilla ice cream. That crepe was REALLY good. The crepe was thin (i've seen some thicker crepe - no bueno), it was cooked evenly - no over burnt sides. The texture was chewy and soft -- you can taste the buttery, eggy batter -- it was delicious. The berries were all very fresh and with that scoop of ice cream, it just made the whole crepe taste that much more better. it hit the spot at that time since we ate so much meat that day. When you check in, you get a free coffee! I only wish i have more room in my stomach so I could have ordered one of my own.

Visited this restaurant three times while in Austin.

By MammaShibs |

This restaurant was close to the hotel we were staying at and we discovered it by viewing TripAdvisor. We visited it for breakfast three times. I enjoyed the Laetitia's crepe (lemon jam and butter) and the LaFromagere twice (cheese, pear, walnut honey). Highly recommend this place. Great service and friendly staff.

Underwhelming

By Topdwn |

Service was decent but the food was definitely not what we expected. If Crepe is in your name you should be making excellent crepes . They were very underwhelming! Would not recommend if your hankering for great crepes

Not bad, but nothing great either.

By Vacation_Commander |

This was a nice place to eat. It was attached to the hotel, so it was a nice close walk and we enjoyed sitting outside on the beautiful morning.

Holy Crepe! So good!

By Nick |

Stayed in Austin for quick business trip. Went here for breakfast 3 days in a row. Great service, crepes and cappuccinos! Sweet little place with lovely French owner. Hard working crew! Worth the short wait times.

Fantastic Food!

By MalteseMalteser |

Brilliant tasting food and open for breakfast too! My girlfriend and I came here multiple times on our trip to Austin and there was so much to choose from! I enjoyed the Eiffel and the Normandie on several occasions (and at the same time too!). The mix of chicken and feta cheese with other foods within crepes is not something that one originally thinks of tasting good....but boy did it taste good! After my trip last year to Austin, I recommended the Pomme Cannelle to my girlfriend: apple slices, cinnamon, and ice cream on a crepe. It tastes just like apple pie, packed full of flavour! Fantastic little cafe in Austin, will return time and time again whenever we go!

A nice surprise

By Bud-pony |

I recently had lunch with my husband here while in downtown Austin for work. It’s a tiny place with very delicious fresh food, and has the feel of a small Parisian cafe. It’s a great lunch spot with a pretty varied selection of crepe fillings. Since all we had were crepes I am unable to comment on their other offerings, but based on what we had, and what we saw delivered to other people, I’d venture the other options are good as well. I would return with no hesitations. It was a short luncheon vacation in Paris.

The best crêpes in town!

By 868victor |

We had different crêpes, like the Napoleon with Grand Marnier and the one with Apple. They all tasted great. We will come back here!

Quaint shop, friendly service, good crepes

By ItsMeAlex |

Monday morning at 10am and we had our pick of indoor or outdoor seating. The service was attentive and pleasant, and the food was as good as you'd expect from an authentic crepe shop. The Chloe's Crepe (Nutella/strawberry/banana, whipped cream) was on par with others we've had. There wasn't too much Nutella that would require you drink water to wash it down. The Italian Crepe (Prosciutto, basil, tomato, sun dried tomato pesto and olive medley topping) was a nice blend that tasted similar to a fresh pizza. I would visit here again and could easily order the same thing and be happy with my decision.

cold coffee, bad service, cold food

By Diane P |

Maybe it was a bad day for the workers. They were very slow and when the coffee and food came out they were both cold.

Great food!!

By Jacob F |

Food is always great when I stop in!! Love the sauce that comes with all savory crepes. Have yet to try any of the sweets, definately trying it next time

Lovely outdoor cafe

By EnglishChinaDoll |

This cute cafe was close to our hotel and thought we would give it a try. We had a delicious breakfast and enjoyed the outdoor seating. My husband ordered crepes and I ordered an omelette, everything was delicious.

Ownership really disrespectful to patrons.

By Igor P |

Food was delicious and the place was really nice with authentic feel. The service was good too. The reason for the bad review was the owner who was sitting next to us. During our meal the owner was very rude and disparaging to people from countries like Macedonia, Romania, Bulgaria and even Ukraine. He was explaining to his friends at the table that those places are s**t and to not go there. Go to Italy and Greece, maybe Croatia. But avoid Macedonia and the others at all costs. Well, let me tell you, a Macedonian was sitting right next to you and spending money at your business and we are not as bad as you describe us. I am sure there are places in France that are not as appealing to visit too, but you won’t see me disrespecting your country like that. The name of the guy is George Dreyfus.

Best place EVER!

By Jayynine |

The crepe's are beyond delicious. I've never had any that have amounted to what these do. We are here every morning we were in town. I truly wish they would bring one close to where I live. The staff members here made us feel so welcomed and comfortable. I would say that if you don't stop in for coffee and a crepe you are missing out on a phenomenal experience.

Yummy crepes!

By jansjourneys |

Son, his fiancé and I were going to Lakota Wolf Preserve and were searching for a place to eat in Washington, NJ. We 3 settled on having crepes. We all had the chicken/spinach/mushroom crepes. It did take quite a long time to get our food but the guy (Italian?) was very nice and friendly. He brought us COLD ice waters (we were going to take room temp ones) and that was sweet. Son & his gal ate all of theirs, I only ate half and took the rest home. Mine could have been warmer but the kids said theirs was fine temp. NICE, calm atmosphere with mesmerizing things hanging from the ceiling!

Relaxing setback from 6th street

By cherylynn3 |

Love the bistro pace here...indoors or outdoor seating. Tucked away from most of the busy downtown bustle, yet right at the foot of the Hampton. Lots of savory or sweet crepes to choose from plus expressos and other coffee and tea options. We tried the Eiffel and the Morning Crepes for breakfast, and both were fresh and flavorfully filled with lightly crisped edges. Very good portion size; some might leave a bit, but you’ll be comfortably full if you finish. My double macchiato was delightful. I enjoyed the assorted pottery serving plates. All was quite reasonably priced, too... under $30 for two full breakfasts with drinks and tax. Next time in Austin, we’ll try them for a sweet crepe and perhaps wine which they even sell by the liter for under twenty bucks.

Great breakfast place!

By Janel P |

My husband and I came here for breakfast and loved every minute of it! The crepes were made to order and their hot chocolate was superb! I would have loved toi have come here every day for breakfast and tried many other of their selections! They also sold tshirts which are absolutely adorable!

Good overall

By Alex W |

The atmosphere here is great - inside - outside is nice as well but be warned that you may have homeless people hanging around especially during breakfast hours; the staff does do their best to keep them away though. The staff and service here is amazing everyone is very friendly and willing to accommodate what you need. The food is really what didn't live up to the hype - while good, they were somewhat bland and not "full" or topped like a typical crepe. Instead I had a very thin layer of egg and cheese inside the crepe(almost nonexistent) and a few pieces (think bacon bits sized) of bacon on the top. Good for the coffee and service but the crepes could use some work.

Belligerent Rude Owner

By C P |

Buyer Beware - Double charged for my food. Owner was very belligerent and confrontational regarding my refund. Hos own staff members said they believed he had no intentions on refunding me my money, because he's done it before. If your order is so called lost and you place another one, you may be double charged and then refused a refund. Be careful! Check you credit card the same day. Call your credit call company and place a complaint to ensure your charged once. If they get enough complaints, they'll know how to handle his business.

Friendly spot

By torino7788564 |

We really enjoyed the crepes, we had a vegetarian and a meat crepe and they were both excellent. One was thin and the other more thick but both full of ingredients. The service was good and friendly, inside seating is limited but a nice outside patio is available.

Best Crepe's I've ever had

By poseyt2016 |

I had a regular coffee and omelette breakfast. However I couldn't leave without trying the crepe's it was soo delicious! The coffee was pretty regular basic coffee however the crepe's were delicious!

This place doesn't know what a crepe is

By frequenttravelerdave |

We noticed the crepe place next door to our hotel. We were excited about the idea of a crepe for breakfast. I've eaten at numerous creperies this place does not know how to make a crepe. They reminded me of a folded pancake. The service experience was poor. Both of us had indigestion after eating there. We will not go back

Dessert and coffee

By vblevins |

We shared a cinnamon crepe and drank latte great place for dessert and coffee. The location was perfect right by our hotel downtown.

Tres bien Austin

By CarricktoRome |

What a surprise and as authentic as in Paris, this place offers decent crepes. From only 4 bucks for a basic entry upwards, the strawberry, cream and chocolate are manifique! Excellent service too within dining inside or out and food to go....

Delightful!

By Danielle S |

The staff were warm and genuine. The food was tasty; my husband enjoyed The Italian while I enjoyed The Normandie. Best mimosa I've had in a while. A quaint stop for brunch!

Food good, but employee chatting annoying

By Julie C |

We had a late night snack here. Were only ones in restaurant. Had a wonderful crepe although it took a while, but were pleasantly surprised when our server said the cook made a mistake on our order (added Nutella when our item didn't include it) and asked if we wanted the mistake crepe at no cost so we got two for the price of one! My only complaint was, and this is happening more and more when workers have down time is that they are chatting away and playing on cell phones clear in customer view.

Crepes not delicious

By Caroline C |

I ordered House Crepe Breakfast. An omelette wrapped in a thick crepe with mayonnaise based sauce. I would rather have an omelette as this was not super special, airy and light or delicious as I would expect a crepe to be. House coffee was 'diner coffee' , light and bland, which is fine if your at a diner, but it would be nice to have a more specialty coffee for the price. They did have the option to order a latte or cappuccino which did look yummy . Service was fine, however when I was there they were repairing the metal umbrella posts with screw guns right at the tables that people were eating at! You can imaging the noise. Very odd choice for management to make, why not come in before or after hours? Anyway, I would give this place a 2-3 star and with all the yummy places in Austin to eat, would opt for another restaurant when I return.

Pass on the crab crepe

By Jennifer D |

Loved the vibe, food came out quickly. The crab crepe was just so-so. I do want to come back to try a sweet crepe! There are lots of yummy options.

Nice crepes if you are in the mood for crepes

By Clete B |

Okay I wanted the Mexican place up the block. I didn't come all the way to Texas to eat crepes. Anyway I got out voted so we went here. A small place, busy inside. There were 6 of us at 2pm and they could not fit us all together. Give your waiter a hug after he delivers your food as you will not seem him again till he brings you your check. Oh those snooty french! Ah but this guy looked white. Anyway food was good. Family enjoyed it more than me. Mexican place was calling my name though.

Small French crepe house. Few gluten-free options

By Suzie B Gluten-Free! |

Small quirky French-style cafe serving mainly crepe options. Great for breakfast. There were not a lot of gluten-free options, but the omelet was good.

For something different!

By customer99 |

We went there for breakfast on a Sunday and the breakfast hour ends by 10:30am! A bit early if your first stop is church and then breakfast. So I subtracted one star for that. Otherwise the food was great and I would definitely go there again. Small but cozy with more room if you want to eat outside. The crepes are delicious and I had the Norwegian that looked me to at least what everyone else was having. Everything looks to be very fresh and presentation is good.

Adorable and great food

By Mary K |

I loved how great the servers are and how cute this place is. The crepes are delicious and I would highly recommend! If you are in Austin, please stop in. You won’t regret it!

Hidden gem

By Jessica H |

This spot was not on my radar but it was right by our hotel and we needed a snack before late dinner reservations.... I was VERY pleased and surprised by how good it was! We shared the Normandie and practically licked the to-go box clean.

Crepes...crepes...crepes

By awall-210 |

We try to avoid the chain places when we go out, especially if we are on mini vacations. TripAdvisor is my go to app and it didn’t fail. Ok, I got the breakfast crepe, spinach, mushrooms, tomatoes and some Swiss cheese, side of bacon...for extra. It was good, a solid good, but it needed something, sauce, salsa, something. I didn’t ask and they didn’t offer. My wife however hit the crepe lotto, it was the Norwegian or something crepes with a cream cheese dill layer and literally covered with smoked salmon and salty peas (capers) two points if you get the Pitch Perfect II reference. We did wait, on the sidewalk to be seated but I would wait again. Inside is small and trendy, outside has nice covering so you don’t get to hot. The staff was attentive but busy, they kept my ice tea cup filled. Again, I would go back. Oh the serving size was big, not burst you pants big but filling.

Good Crepes

By Jeff A |

My wife and I have eaten here twice on our visits to Austin. Food and coffee are both good. The hostess had a French accent (assumed he was one of the co-owners) so felt as if stepping into a French cafe. I had the Crepe de Paris with smoke sausage and the smoke sausage is quite good. Be advised though I went on a Saturday and found out later on their website that not all breakfast items are available on the weekends. That is something should rethink. The coffee was quite excellent also, dark roasted like I like it. The service staff was quite good. Waiter was attentive and took good care of us. Getting seated was the only thing that seemed a bit chaotic but was not a big issue. Overall worth trying out.
