Liked the atmosphere and service at the location on Ventura Ave. We ordered the spinach quiche with a couple of pastries and everything was tasty. Only drawback is parking.

Having three nights in LA, on the first morning I took advice from Trip Advisor on where to go for breakfast and this place was both local to us and seemed to hit the health spot. I have to say it didn't disappoint and we returned here on each morning. The staff were outstanding and only excelled by the food and drinks they served. I can't recommend this place highly enough and wish there were more places in the UK that subscribed to this modern form of healthy eating. Just go.

I should encourage you(reader) to try the speculous spread. If you like Nutella you are going to love it. This is my favorite spot for brunch and breakfast. My favorite dish is the crunchy quinoa.

I love the butter croissant and Le Pain Quotidien is super good to make it with and without chocolate.

And lunch and dinner. Especially the dinners are underestimated. The menu is not that extensive but beautifully composed. The organic wines are a slight disappointment. Pricing is a laugh when you are used to EU prices.

Beast breakfast so far! Good eggs, good bread and jam! I would recomend you all to try this restaurant.

I do get my baguettes here and the occasional croissant. The french bread is comparable to those I ate in Paris. Crispy outside, soft inside. Various jams are on the table, gratis. Coffee is only ok. I bought 5 bottles of their cab.sav. RN13 ($26 each) for gifts last Christmas. They had to call France to get permission as no one ever made my request for the bottles. Usually, they sell their wine by the glass or bottle as you dine there. I also bought their hazelnut spread as gifts.

Bakery unlike others; mini baguette with raisons is amazing; nice ambiance and a shared table setting for dinner - would love to try it. On a busy main street, but beautiful patio nonetheless.

Stumbled upon this restaurant during an early morning walk from the hotel. What a gem, really great and healthy fresh bread and pastries. Cappuccino was soo much better than at Star Bucks :-) Really friendly staff. I believe they're open for lunch as well but I'm not sure about dinner. Only minus was the poor wifi but hey you don't need that at a good breakfast! Will be back..

Nice to eat outside on the sidewalk in the lovely calif weather. Typical of this chain with good break, coffee selection and creative food selections

Wooden furniture inside. clean and spacious room, outdoor seating available, warm hospitality from staff with passion and smile.

Light breakfast with a poached egg and bite of bread - heartier one with the best omelets? Lunch with that lentil salad or open face tuna sandwich? When we want to meet a friend for breakfast, we always pick Le Pain, when we want to treat ourselves, if our son is visiting from school, when we want a light but healthy lunch. I always want to order dessert, but I'm satisfied with my meal and have had enough. That's good!

Love Le Pain. This location is quiet and convenient. Lots of space for meetings, or just enjoying your meal. A restaurant that can be found all over the world... their food being consistent and reliably delicious everytime.

Disappointing on all counts, from food and bread quality as well as mediocre service. The Nutella Hazelnut Spread was replaced with some cheap and tasteless off brand and the bread basket was pitiful.

I really loved my two early morning breakfasts here. Service staff are so very friendly and kind. The atomosphere is warm and relaxed. I enjoyed the decaf latte -- really tasty -- and also the iced matcha with milk. I also picked up pastries for my aunt and my aunt-by-courtesy on Mother's Day -- both ladies really enjoyed them. I highly recommend this place both for pastry take-out and for eating in.

We came here on our final morning in LA - if we'd come any earlier, we probably wouldn't have gone anywhere else for breakfast! Excellent range of breads, pastries, eggs and pretty much anything else you can imagine to start your day. Except the meat.

From San Diego, to Carlsbad, to Long Beach, to Santa Monica, I am now in Studio City to meet another friend. I just let them choose the place and all I have to do is show up. I arrived and parking was a challenge. I parked about two blocks away. The place is pretty modern and it looks like a favorite hangout of the locals. There is inside and outside dining with some pastries, desserts and lunch. I ordered the quinoa taboule, a light choice. It came with a multi grain bread that was yummy. We dined outside and watched passersby and enjoyed the fresh air.

This eatery has that organic feel about the place with staff who are so nice, it's hard to take in. They have a delicious array of pastries and perfectly cooked omelets. I had a cafe au lait and my wife had a Mochaccino that actually tasted like liquid chocolate. Very enjoyable and highly recommended.

Nice! Casual! Thoughtful. Had the smoked salmon scallion omelet with coffee. It came with fresh bread and a salad. As you will note in the picture. All tasted good! Sat outside and enjoyed the morning. Nice interior seating.

Standard menu, great options, free WiFi, outdoor dining, friendly staff. Watch the rush hour traffic rush by.

So, we're having a little family reunion in LA. We had everything from senior citizens to one year old infants in our crowd. The two nephews in charge of everyone used to be roommates together. One is still living the single life in LA and the other is now a daddy living in San Fran. For nostalgia sake's Daddy wanted to have breakfast here, so all the rest of us tagged along. The restaurant may never be the same. An infant, a toddler, a six-year old, a teenager and a handful of adults showed up and tried to eat as a group. Well, this place is not set up for a group. It also was entirely too healthy for the majority of us, a goodly number of whom hail from a different culture and the rest of us just weren't prepared for what was on the menu. Don't get me wrong, it was delicious healthy stuff, but not exactly what an Egyptian wants for breakfast and it was late enough that I was looking for lunch. The restaurant did their best to accommodate us, but the regulars looked as if they didn't appreciate our craziness one bit. I don't blame them. I'd go here again, but I'd go alone, with a book and a little less appetite.

This place is great for breakfast and coffee, they do serve lunch but I've only been here for breakfast, love the chicken chorizo, it's a must try

This is a very nice way to start your day. The atmosphere and service was great and the food and quality was too. The food prep wasn't perfect, but was good.

Excellent bread, great for breakfast, brunch, lunch, basically excellent. London branches great also. This chain is top notch

Amazing quiche, salads, fresh mint tea, latte's, and homemade desserts.I love the decor, service is great. It can get loud though, so for a business meeting, night not be ideal.

We had breakfast here and this was the first time on this trip that we found something more like a whole food eating place. The basket of bread was great to share and the banana granola I had was lovely. A pleasant experience after a few days getting used to American eating.

The atmosphere here is really nice, hardwood floors, craft wood tables and chairs. Our family came in at 11:00 am for breakfast on a Friday. Our waiter spent a lot of time making conversation with us because we were not familiar with the area. One of our meals was not correct but our waiter made it right very quickly with sincere apologies. Overall the experience was great.
What an experience!
Ok so I am an east coaster not used to such amazing natural foods. But the La Pain Quotidien presented me an amazing array of great food and healthy stuff at that. This is a bakery cafe so the menu might be limited. I had the wild mushroom, goat cheese white egg omelet with pesto sauce and pimentos on top. I ended the meal with a chia seed a cocoanut milk pudding. What a treat!
