Kinda don't want the word to get out about Le Parc Bistrobar, because it will soon be impossible to get a reservation. There were ten of us (family reunion) ordering from the menu - something few fine-dining restaurants can handle easily - but the level of table service and the kitchen management were so excellent that we might as well have been a table of four. The staff made us feel as though we were the only people in the restaurant and they were honored to have us there. Beverage service was seamless, and dishes came to the table with perfect timing. And wow, the food! Elegant, unpretentious, cooked to perfection - French bistro elevated to Michelin star level. And imaginative - escargot pot pie, for example! Plenty of options for vegetarians and fish lovers as well as meat eaters. Sauces were light and flavorful. Simple side dishes were ideal complements to the main courses. And don't get me started on the desserts! Strongly recommend that you go now, ASAP, before everyone discovers this place!

Bistro with fine food and comfortable atmosphere in the heart of SF

Went to dinner at this delicious French bistro near Union Square and Financial District tonight. Had a lovely meal of Onion Tart, bright Little Gem Salad and Sole Meunière for entree and a side of Broccoli Rabe. The waiter recommended a very good French white varietal I've never tried before from the Languedoc region. Nice atmosphere and friendly, warm service. Highly recommend if you're looking for a nice meal in SF.

It's just too expnsive for what they are providing

Think carefully about the prices before you go. $22 or a small cocktail. $21 for a teeny onion tart appetizer. For the price of a couple of meals at this restaurant, you could take a trip to Paris.

Excellent food and service, in an easily accessible location. The quality of the food was well above my expectations at that price point. I highly recommend the duck rillettes!

Do not sleep on Le Parc!

Wonderful French bistro with a relaxed and friendly vibe. An amazing addition to downtown San Francisco convenient to Union Square and the Fi-Di. I imagine residents will make this a destination. The menu is thoughtful and has something for everyone. I have never tasted an onion tart prepared like here, delicious! The mussels are among the best I’ve had in town.

Delicious meal, excellent service

My daughter and I enjoyed an early dinner here. Service is very friendly and professional. The cocktails are perfectly balanced and delicious - I enjoyed a French 75 and it was perfect. The lemon tart to start was small, with excellent cartelized onion. The spring pea soup was phenomenal. Although we didn't request it, they kindly brought us two bowls. The soup is poured table side, over a cauliflower tart in the soup bowl. The soup was light, with wonderful fresh pea flavor. I had the spinach ravioli, 10 tender "pillows" with fresh spinach filling that was chopped, instead of a mash. The steak frites had exceptional shoe string fries. The meat was flavorful. We were delighted and would definitely return.

I had the pleasure of dining at this charming French bistro, and it was an unforgettable experience. From the moment I walked in, the warm and inviting decor made me feel as though I had been transported straight to Paris. The ambiance is cozy yet elegant, perfect for a relaxing meal. The service was exceptional—attentive without being intrusive, and the staff was knowledgeable about the menu and wine pairings. As for the food, it was simply divine! Mussels and fries with a glass of Sauvignon blanc, and chocolate mousse for dessert! You can taste the care and quality in every bite. Whether you’re looking for a romantic evening out or a special meal with friends, this bistro is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!

Nice French bistro

Lots to like about this restaurant. Service was warm and friendly, great cocktails and a nice ambience. Having said that, food was solid but nothing stood out. Charcuterie plate to begin with was disappointing, lacked any real depth of flavor. Steak frites and salmon were cooked well, temperature on both was spot on.

Perfect lunch!

Here’s a polished review based on your experience: I had the most delightful evening at this charming French bistro! The mussels and fries were absolutely perfect—fresh, flavorful, and paired beautifully with a crisp glass of white Côtes du Rhône. The menu strikes that perfect balance between classic French comfort food and a touch of elegance. The ambiance was cozy and inviting, with just the right level of buzz from the main dining area. I noticed they were hosting a party in their upstairs dining room, and it looked like an ideal venue for celebrations—intimate, stylish, and full of character. Their cocktails were also fantastic, showcasing creativity and quality ingredients. Whether you’re stopping by for a casual dinner or planning a special event, this bistro is a true gem. Highly recommend! Would you like to add anything personal or specific?

I was invited to dine at Le Parc and didn’t have any expectations. What a hidden gem with a speak easy vibe on the 2nd floor. My favorite cocktail is the Pink Elephant. Loved the caramelized onion pastry appetizer, the spinach ravioli and the large charcuterie platter. Great energy. I’ll be back!

Restaurant Français a San Francisco

This restaurant is fabulous! Coming from France, the food is better than most restaurants in metropolitan France! The onion pie is fantastic, the snails modern and succulent. The camouflage sole is cooked to perfection. Chocolate mousse is unforgettable. Recommend this restaurant to all tourists visiting San Francisco. We eat twice in two weeks and never disappoint.
