Visiting from out of town, had a very nice Friday night dinner at this place. It was outstanding Greek food, a pretty nice wine and beer list, and very reasonable prices. I probably would not go if you're in a rush, but that's not saying the service was bad. On the contrary, I found it excellent, but very relaxed and European. It was a fantastic place to enjoy food and company with a nice prolonged conversation. They definitely made me feel at home. I'm Greek and have grown up with Greek food my whole life, from mom's cooking to great restaurants in Greece and NYC. You can count on this place. It will not disappoint.

We spotted this restaurant while strolling down Larchmont, and what a find! We sat outside on a beautiful Sunday and had a delicious meal! Three of us shared a variety of dishes so that we could try a bit of everything... The Greek sample platter, lamb meatballs and chicken gyro... All fresh, organic and delicious ingredients. The food was at the same time light and hearty, and extremely tasty! It is difficult to find authentic Greek food in L.A. I would highly recommend this restaurant. I peaked inside after our meal and the decor is beautiful and cozy, very inviting, and the staff is friendly and helpful. It is worth the drive if you live out of the area. Go and enjoy, you won't regret it!

I have been going to Le Petit Greek for 15 years and just can't say I have ever had a disapointed experience.. Although the resturant does need a make over, the service and quality of food is excellent...For those of you visiting Los Angeles come to Larchmont Villiage and experience Main St USA. !!!!

I sat outside and had a lovely lunch of the Ionian salad--mixed greens with grilled salmon, tomatoes, feta and olives. The waitress suggested that I pair it with the Italian Pinot Grigio and that was a wonderful choice. This is a very good, authentic Greek restaurant with helpful and friendly staff and a good people watching place, too. I highly recommend it.

Charming and romantic place for lunch on the sidewalk. Plenty of tables outside and great people watching. Food is fresh and delicious. The Grilled Calamari salad and the Roasted Lamb Salads are my favorites. Always wait to hear the specials before you order...they are usually the best choices. LOVE all the staff here....they know all the regulars by name and get the food to your table fast. My glass is always kept full. Their pita bread is wonderful. Great place for business meetings as well as romantic meals. Easy to hear people talk at your table. If I won the lottery, I might be tempted to eat there everyday.

This place was recommended to us by friends. It was absolutely authentic and outstanding. The spreads, grape leaves, and spanakopita were great. The moussaka and pastitsio were also fabulous. Very friendly service.

Been going to my favorite Greek food place for last 15+ years...great lunch always...but it seems something changed for the worst. The three dips...eggplant was Baaad...no seasoning...tasted stale and old. The vegetarian plate... for last 15 years they would substitute...dolmathes with more salad or a spanikopita ...BUT not anymore. The salad in the vegetarian plate had NO dressing... and the special with Calamari today was simply bad...again stale lettuce and NO dressing and the calamari tasted 'weird' No idea what has happened to this place... and it was not a one off experience... last week was equally bad... maybe the owner has started cutting corners on quality or changed cooks who do not know how to fix the food like it always used to be.. Sad to see this..but will have to spread the word...AVOID at all costs now...

This was my 9th visit to Le Petit Greek, and, once again, it didn't disappoint. I had made reservations the day before in order to assure a table for two by the window, so when I arrived, I was immediately seated in my desired spot. As always, the service was wonderful without being obtrusive. As for the food, my vegetarian plate, which is a sampling of several Greek appetizers, was absolutely delicious. My dad ordered the moussaka and praised its savory flavor. We split our meals in order to get a fuller experience, By the end of the meal, which also included a large Greek salad for two, we were absolutely stuffed, totally unable to have dessert. Of course, I will return to this restaurant..

Out of towners (Greek) in LA for Greek Easter. Took local friends (who have eaten here before) out to dinner at le Petit Greek. Unspeakable service. In fact, what service? Maitre d' sat us down; was standing nearby throughout the evening but neither he nor others paid much attention to us. It was excruciating. Nothing special for Easter but that was not promised...merely a disappointment. Lamb shank, ok; moussaka, absolutely not up to snuff; rack of lamb, excellent; mezze, good; avgolemono, ok; wine (an Agiorgitiko?), good; Greek coffee, ok. We would never go back. Never. It is not as though the restaurant was overcrowded. The waiters and the maitre d' just didn't care. And in hindsight, reading reviews in TA and elsewhere, I see that we should have known this in advance.

My wife and I love this restaurant and have probably eaten here 50+ times for dinner, lunch and takeout dinner. We love the gyro, chicken skewers and the pistitsio. The hummus, pita and salad are great as well, as is the baklava. Truly one of my favorite LA spots. They run a tight ship and we have found the food to be very consistent. Cute place and good service as well usually.

We are european and amateurs of greek food, that we used to have before moving here. We have been looking for authentic greek cuisine here in LA, and this a one really great spot! Greek salad is refreshing, pita bread is excellent. Moussaka, lemon chicken, tzatziki, all of these were really good. Great service. We definitely recommend the place

We dined here on a Sunday night. The service was great, the food was wonderful The decor was cute too. Would definitely recommend if you like Greek food!

Recently ordered from them when on a trip and had delivered by Postmates. Not only was the total way more than expected for 2 people, but the food was not good at all. There was no flavor and the bags that the food arrived in were extremely greasy. Not sure if the reason there are so many good comments is because there is a lack of Mediterranean food in the area, but where I am from I have experienced MUCH better.

Never had a bad meal there!

The ambiance keeps me coming back and I just prepare myself to eat the same couple of dishes over and over., It is hard to get both at many places over and over.

First, I want to compliment the staff for being warm and welcoming. The selection was standard, but solid, and everything tasted pretty good, but they aren't reinventing the wheel in terms of innovative cuisine. Still, it was a pleasant, inviting atmosphere. However, being that I am from Chicago, a city famed for its many Greek restaurants, I was blown away by the high prices on the menu at Le Petit Greek! I'd estimate that their prices are 40-50% higher than what I've seen at other locations serving up similar food.

Love the outdoor seating, the delicious and value-priced food - wonderful dining experience! Their menu includes a lot of temping items. We loved the greek salad and moussaka.

Great Meditteranean dining! Good gyros! The lamb is tasty and tender! Higher Prices. Lots of sea food. A variety of wines. I always sit outside for people watching! You might have to look for parking.

Le Petit Greek has a large outdoor patio right on Larchmont Boulevard with white tablecloths and comfortable chairs. (Also a beautiful inside space too.) I will begin by saying the restaurant has few inexpensive options; that said, the food is reliably excellent. There is a wide array of Mediterranean appetizers. All the entrees come with a memorable family style Greek salad and include a delicious assortment of vegetables. There is a big list of wine and beer. The restaurant is presided over by one of the owners, dressed in a sport jacket, and at some point during the evening you can watch him create a flaming dessert for someone with great drama.

This place is one of my favorite places to eat. If you love greek food and want the real deal come to this place. It is in the charming Larchmont Village and it is simply amazing. Definitely get he homemade pita and if your a cheese fan the fried cheese dish is a MUST<

Once upon a time (the nineties) in a land far, far away (ok, Los Angeles), tucked away in the corner of a most unlikely spot (The Beverly Connection Shopping Center) was a marvelous Greek cafe. Once through the doorway, you were whisked away to the island of Santorini, surrounded by murals depicting the whitewashed buildings of Thira, scarlet bougainvillea, the glistening Aegean just beyond. The food was good; the air redolent of lamb, oregano and lemons-- Greek music charming us quietly in the background. Who knew that Greece was this easily accessible? Twelve or so years down the line, this wonderful oasis is gone. And though I dearly miss my shopping center portal to the Mediterranean, happily Le Petit Greek's Larchmont Village restaurant lives happily on. Nine pm on a hot, September night. Traffic on the sidewalk is nonstop; girls on bicycles; a parade of parents pushing strollers,;laughing young adults in fashionable attire; families bearing pizza boxes or ice cream cones; couples walking dogs. Although Le Petit Greek offers two two darkened and cozy dining rooms or a large outdoor seating area, this night begs for a chilled bottle of white wine and a sidewalk table. It's fitting, I think, that someplace like Le Petit Greek should exist in as charming an area as Larchmont, another kind of oasis in the middle of Los Angeles. With its rows of fashionable eateries, Le Petit Greek is still a standout-- leading you down the block by the sheer aroma of the food. I kid you not-- we were walking down the block, looking for the restaurant, when the beckoning hand of aroma wafted past our faces and more or less dragged us to the door. When food smells like this, it's a good sign that you're in for a treat. My nose does not lie. The Nassiakos Moscofilero was light, crisp and floral with a wonderful bouquet. I'm sure I look like a nutcase sitting there sniffing my wine as long as I do. I may not notice the color of your eyes, your height or what you've been wearing, but I will tell you that the picture of the slim, chilled bottle of wine on the table placed next to a glass of satiny, amber wine was stunning-- and if I'd been one of those people who photographs food, that would have been a stunner against the blurred out urban background. The wine, by the way, was just fine with taramosalata (mashed fish roe and olive oil dip), tzatziki (yogurt, cucumber and garlic dip) and lovely warm triangles of pita. The horiatiki (rustic salad of exquisitely fresh chunks of tomato, cucumber, red onion, kalamata olives and feta) was spot on for a night such as this, and I still think Le Petit Greek serves some of the best feta I've ever tasted. Octapodi are tender, bite-sized chunks of grilled octopus, dressed with lemon. My salmon arrived with a crispy sear and moist interior, accompanied by a huge portion of amazing roasted vegetables I could happily have dined on by themselves (peppers, onions, eggplant, asparagus, broccoli and cauliflower). Herbed lemon roasted potatoes were addictive. A generous portion of excellent moussaka was served with the same sides. The lamb kebab melted into a blissful medium-rare concoction on my palate-- the best lamb, my husband he claimed, he had eaten in years. As far as sweets go, we found the baklava is sweet and reliable, galactobourico (described as "Traditional vanilla custard wrapped in filo, served with cinnamon ice cream) custardy and satisfying. The last time we visited, we were given a generous portion of kataifi free of charge (custard, honey, shredded wheat and a drizzling of chocolate). Any of these desserts is a fitting conclusion to a lovely meal; I'm sure the ones we haven't yet sampled are just as good. Service at Le Petit Greek is low key but attentive. The folks here understand that dining isn't just the action of stuffing food into your mouth, rather it's a relaxed even to be savored. They can and will shift into an alternate gear if your time is limited: on more than one occasion, we've chosen to stop there for pre-theatre dining. In both cases, the server made sure that we were out in plenty of time, yet still managed to maintain a dining experience which seemed leisurely and well-paced. Go. And take a long, lingering whiff of the moscofilero.

Wonderful lunch seafood salads...

Seasonal vegetables perfectly steamed, delicious lemon roasted potatoes, fresh grilled calamari and octopus, a moussaka freshly made every day from a family recipe passed down for generations, lamb shank that melts in your mouth.... What are you waiting for? At lunch there is a wide variety of delicious salads (including signature seared salmon and steak). If you're a people watcher, you will definitely want to sit outside. Tables on the sidewalk, heaters, day and night people watching as the Larchmont crowd strolls by. I've been going here since they opened several years ago. Always fresh delicious food. Frequently take friends and business clients. Everyone always happy.

I've been many times during the course of visits to LA -- sometimes I've enjoyed it more than others; this time I was fully satisfied as was my wife and our friends. The owner is very friendly and helpful with advice. The lamb was excellent.

Shared late dinner with a triple dip starter, lemon soup, and lamb shank special. All very good but dessert was fantastic. First one on menu and worth wait. Would have liked to see lamb used in moussaka..they use beef. Also question use of "organic salmon" description for farmed Scottish fish.

Visited with friends. Our first visit. Service was excellent. Started with some shared Tzatziki and Hummus, with pita. Excellent. Greek salad comes with the entrees. Our friend had the leek soup, and thought it was one of the best he had. My wife and I both had the baby rack of lamb. Tender and cooked to order. Very good and I would certainly have again. One of our friends had the fish special, excellent, but be aware, the entire fish is served on the plate. The other had Moussaka, a casserole and he really enjoyed it. Desserts we had down the street.

I visit Los Angeles 3-4 times each yeaar and have eaten at Le Petit Greek a half dozen times over the past 10-15 years.....the food is consistently excellent; the setting is pleasant and the service is just fine. They do a lovely job with their various lamb dishes (duh, after all this is a Greek restaurant)...and my wife ordered the fish special of the evening and was very pleased with her meal as well. I am told that the brothers who own the place are particularly sensitive to the staff and, as a result, the employees stick around for a long time. That comment cannot be made about all restaurants -- to state the obvious.

This was the third time that we enjoyed lunch here. The service is always friendly and the servers are attentive and more than helpful. One of our favorites is the calamari sald which is a huge, delicious combination of very tender calamari and greens. The dressing is light and a perfect compliment to the dish. The parade of the locals on the sidewalk is a glamourous and trendy glimpse of the "Hollywood' stereotype of the affluent L.A. lifestyle. This restaurant is a delightful change of pace and worthy of their loyal following.

I've lived in Larchmont for decades; a lot of restaurants forced out by high rents so we are lucky that Le Petit Greek is still there for us, with their classy tablecloth-covered sidewalk tables and good wait staff. I find this place understandably a bit over-priced at lunch but so many reasonable options at that meal, all delicious and plentiful. Dinner I recently found out is way way overpriced; we ended up sharing mostly appetizers and just one meal. Prices were silly given the cost of ingredients. So my advice is definitely give this place a try but go for lunch.

I really enjoy the Le Petit Greek. It has a really nice staff, with good Greek food. I love Greek food, which is hard to get outside of Greece. This is one of the best Greek restaurant's in Los Angeles. It is located in Larchmont(part of LA) mostly locals. The tip is to order a few apps and share an entree. The entree comes with a Greek salad, and veggies. The lemon potatoes are amazing. A great Santorini white wine good Greek food and people watching. It can be quite romantic to sit outside as well. Ask to sit outside. Inside is more like a Greek taverna. It can be $$$ if your not paying attention.

Restaurants come and go especially in a large city like Los Angeles. Le Petit Greek has been part of the restaurant landscape for 30 years. It is like eating in your mother's kitchen. The food is piping hot, fresh and traditional. The portions are meant to please but not super sized which I find distasteful. The management's welcoming attitude and good service add to the dining experience. It has stood the test of time. And parking is free if U park on side streets. Meter parking is nominal.

I was raised on Larchmont Blvd. Had not been back for years. Stumbled upon this place on a Sunday when hungry. Great lunch and presentation

Great patio.....attentive service...appetizers really hit the spot..... entrées were wonderful..Thank you for a great evening !!!

We were tired and hungry and fortunate to find this little place in Hancock Park. The pitas were warm and tasty, Greek salads large and fresh, wine flavorful and plentiful. Great place that I would return to given the opportunity!

Saganaki !! Flaming Cheese !! Awesome, tasty and not in too many places. A bottle of good wine, a real Greek Salad (big enough for 3,) finish with an affogato!Cloudy day and you’ll be in Europe. Perfect for a family afternoon! Great Service and friendly people in the Larchmont Village! Thank You to our lovely server Kamelia.

We had lunch here on a Sunday in July. I cannot pronounce all we had, but it was delicious and I don't really eat Greek food that often. The pita, hummus, salads, salmon, everything tasted fresh and delicious. Service was wonderful. Eat inside or out. A bit pricey.

Delicious greek food! the pita and hummus is to die for!!!

Decent food, nice for a Sunday brunch on Larchmont. Service was so so.

what a great place! very clean and charming. nice selection of greek entrees. the beef souvlakia was excellent, as was the flaming cheese! i was most impressed that our party was not rushed and encouraged to sit a while to visit. we had not seen each for years, so this was especially appreciated. i was also very impressed with the extremely clean and inviting restroom! it's the best one i have visited for years! on the way to the restoom, you can see the cooks at work, which was fun. i would highly recommend, and look forward to a return visit.

We just showed up around 8 pm on Valentines day, no reservations, and they fit us in. Really authentic Greek food with just a tad bit of SoCal thrown in. We had a great time, the atmosphere was very nice. Enjoyed walking up and down the street too.

The service was great. All of our servers were knowledgeable and ably answered all of our questions. The food, however, was hit and miss, and you'll definitely pay a premium for eating in Larchmont Village. The vegetables were extremely well done. The lemon potatoes were a high spot, as was the whipped caviar appetizer. The hummus was more than passable and the pita tasted fresh. The meat in the gyro combo I had was a little dry for my taste and the baklava wasn't any more special than others I've had at other places. I'd go again if I'm in the neighborhood, but I probably wouldn't make a special trip.

I was very impressed with the service, ambience and food quality at this establishment. The interior is well decorated with Greek themed art, including historical photos. There is ample indoor and attractive outdoor seating. I had the Greek Platter consisting of moussaka(best I've ever had), lemon chicken(tender & juicy), beef, potatoes with excellent humous/pita bread. I washed this down with a superb Greek red wine, Rapsani from Mt Olympus, recommended by the Maitre'd. The atmosphere is very classy yet relaxed and is great for either romantic or business meetings. So far this is the best Greek restaurant I have been to in Southern CA. Well done Le Petit Greek.

The lamb specials the nite we dined were terrific! The texture and flavor were out of this world. A nice quiet place to dine on a rainy night. This plus terrific service made the evening memorable!!

Quite good, slightly pricey but diverse menu much more than the usual greek pita snadwich routine, good selection of greek wines

Had lunch with a friend. The 2-7 melange of appetizer are so yummie. I can't resist the caviar mousse with the yogurt/cucumber dishes; the warm pita makes for practically a meal. But then there's the Avgolemono soup is always so good. I mix it up between lamb meatballs in tomato sauce with the classic Greek Moussaka- to die for. They usually have a special salad- today was a calamari salad which is great. And they usually have a fish special, grilled or fried. Looked great on the tables near to me.

The food was really delicious. It is expensive, but they have big portions (too big for me). The service is really good and the staff is friendly. The atmosphere is nice!

The last time we went Le Petit Greek, it was four years ago after a movie in Hollywood and it was good then. So, we were going to another show this time with a friend, and thought we would try it again. The outdoor seating was full so we dined inside. We started with Hummus and Tzatziki served with warm pita wedges-- Perfect!! The main courses were Kotopoulo Souvlaki - chicken breast skewer, grilled with Grecian herbs, Kotopoulo Olympia - chicken breast, three cheeses, roasted peppers, cilantro, and red onions wrapped in filo, and our guest had the Lamb Kabob special of the day. Needless to say, we shared tastes of all the entrees - Excellent!! Like I titled this review, this place just keeps getting better - which we find amazing in itself! We will definitely not wait four years to return again.

Larchmont village is a quaint area with plenty of restaurants and shops. I have been to Le Petit Greek a few times and their service and food quality have always been above par. Very nice atmosphere and they have both indoor and outdoor seating. Great place for lunch.

Excellent food if you like chicken, fish, and classic Greek appetizers. The menu seems limited but there are always daily specials. Dinner portions are generous, you will not go home hungry. We had the mixed appetizer tray, all of it was good though the feta cheese wasn't like we had on Cyprus and was mixed with hot peppers. The fish specials were outstanding, service was friendly and efficient. Limited selection of beers, better choice of wines, though all were too expensive, encouraging us to drink water. Nice place to eat outside in good weather.

The atmosphere was way better than the expensive food. The Moussaka and chicken skewers were okay. The chicken filo was tasty. The host was rude to his staff and made us feel uncomfortable. I would find somewhere else to go. The service and neighborhood were great.

Service and food impeccable, parking terrible but worth it... moussaka perfect, feta cheese in greek salad perfect, you will return again and again.

When I showed up for our reservation it took 5 minutes for them to even acknowledge I was there despite the place being empty. The waiters were staring at me and no one said anything. Finally got seated and waited 10 minutes for a waiter. Had to flag them down just to order the appetizer. Ditto for water. Again had to flag them down to order the main. Appetizer was so so at best. Flavorless, hard (got the Saganaki). Salad came first which we thought was to accompany the food. Server was rude and couldn't explain what was going on. Finally got dinner and my wife's was over cooked. Ordered medium and it came well done. Flagged the waiter and he seemed annoyed. Explained that medium does not have pink and we should have ordered medium rare. Finally after a long discussion he agreed to remake it. As she was eating he then hit her with a plate by accident. He apologize briefly but that was all. We left and no one said good bye. No one offered to compensate us for the bad good, service or my wife getting hit upside the head. Abhorrent. Overall food was ok - maybe a 2 or 3 but service made it an unpleasant evening. Won't be back. Don't go. Pita bar and grill has much better Mediterranean food.

We went to this restaurant with another couple and to our surprised, we loved the food! We ordered the combination appetizers (Hummus and Chopped Egg Plant salad and octopus) and they were just delicious! For main entrée, lamb chops and Moussaka. Unbelievable. The desserts were just as wonderful and we would come back again for sure!

Food is very good, service is too. Everything is down to earth and very Greek real! A charming place!

This was really a highlight of my last visit to LA. The friendly and attentive maitre'd and server were Greek and the food was excellent.

Meeting a clients, they chose this place. Ordered the special and it was delicious. The presentations were unique and the vegetables were fresh. We all enjoyed our food. Great gem. If I'm in the neighborhood again, I'm going back!

Fresh, wonderful Greek food served in the delightful Larchmont Village. We ordered specials of the day; wonderful array of crisp vegetables with salmon and one with lamb. Absolutely delicious. If you can't make it to Greece, Le Petit Greek restaurant will suffice. Full menu, good prices.

On our frequent visits to LA over the years, we have often eaten at Le Petit Greek though I think it has been over a year since our last visit there. Reservations are advisable since they have downsized their space. Menu is largely the same -- wide array of choices; plentiful portions. I ordered one of their fish specials and, while not outstanding, certainly was quite good. Service is always good here and even when crowded you can have a conversation without straining.

One of the several resturants that we visited during our brief stay in LA. It was, by far, the best resturant we went to. Its a bit small, and parking was an issue. However, the food was fantastic, the server was knowagable friendly and hot !. I would go there over again for sure.

There is no better Greek restaurant in all of Los Angeles than Le Petit Greek. It has been consistently so for 25 years. We keep coming back for the food, the atmosphere and the hospitality. The menu is lovely, the atmosphere authentic without being kitch and services is sublime.

On our trips from NY to LA we have often visited Le Petit Greek since it is one of the favorites of old friends. The experience has ranged from very good to superb; this time we had truly great fish dinners preceded by a tasty tzatziki appetizer. I had trout and my wife had sea bass -- both were "specials" that evening and both were done to perfection.

I was in LA on holiday and my friend who lives out there took me to this restaurant. Expectation was high because she made us walk for about hour to get there. I must say, i wasn't disappointed the food was excellent, the meat was so tender and tasty, nothing like i have experienced in the UK. I am still thinking about this place, a must visit!

This is a really great, authentic place. Wonderfully managed ( a very nice woman was there at the time) and professional waiters, you are on one of the best people watching street in Los Angeles ( think of a less pretentious Rodeo drive). Our food was delicious- I had the kind of sampler plate- hummus ( very good) Moussaka ( I know I am killing the spelling of this but its the best I ever had! It was melt in your mouth delicious) and very good other food that I can't remember- except that I loved it all. Also , to my eyes, huge portions and beautiful laid out on rectangular plates ( my plate for whatever reason was more colorful than everyone else's,,) My husband had some fish he pronounced wonderful and we all liked the house wine. Its a happy place and I will definitely go there again.

We had dinner last week at Le Petit Greek. Most of the menu was typical of a Greek restaurant with no bad dishes but with the Saganaki being the only superb one. The portions were ample but there seemed to be few sweets available for dessert. Street parking was readily available.

I enjoy Greek food and this little place surprised me with its array of Greek specialties. Moussaka was excellent, grilled calamari was tasty and crispy, humus was nicely flavored, rice pudding was memorable, and the service was excellent. The salad that came with the entrees were limp and the potatoes a bit too greasy. Disappointing that it was only noon and that they had already run out of lamb meatballs.

Visited here with family and can vouch that the food is genuine Greek food. Food - I have visited Greece many times and it’s exactly how they serve it there. Portions are generous, however, I think it’s pretty tight to make people pay upwards of 10$ for dips and sauces. Halloumi was cooked to perfection. Prices - The prices are mid-range to high and although not cheap they aren’t super expensive either. With the portions being generous I would say you don’t need to order too much! Service - Friendly, polite and proactive to our needs. A shame none of the staff were Greek but hardly an issue. Overall a great dining experience and a good place to sample Greek cuisine!

My husband and I had a wonderful meal here with his brother and our nephew recently. Everything was delicious. I'm unable to pronounce most of what we had but it was yummy. The hummus was very fresh tasting. I could have made a meal on that. The pasta dish I ordered was wonderful. The others shared a chicken dish and we all shared the spanakopita. Nice decor and great servers. Go to this place. It's been there awhile so they know what they are doing. Street parking or lot across the street.

We started with lemon soup and octopus. Both great. We asked for a dry red wine and the waiter recommended a Greek bottle that was perfect. Our mains were moussaka and a salmon dish. Both were excellent. Dessert was a wonderful baklava and semi-sweet Greek coffee. We thoroughly enjoyed this experience....food and service were exemplary!

We went for a late Sunday lunch and decided to try this restaurant out as I'm Greek . My wife is gluten free and my daughter is vegan so it appeared that there was suitable items on the menu that would meet our requirements . The waiter seemed friendly enough and suggested my wife should try out the special of the day which was lamb shank with vegetables . He told us that everything was prepared freshly so they could cater for her allergy. It turned out that the " Today's special ".had probably been prepared days before and kept in a fridge or freezer as it was steaming hot from the outside and stone cold from the inside when it was served. We told the waiter who took it away Instead of bringing out a new one or suggesting something else on the menu they bought back the same one, just turned over , they probably stuck in a microwave for a further 10 mins. The manager who was seemed quite arrogant and pompous and did not have the decency to apologize or ask us if we enjoyed the our meal All he did was bring my credit card back and said Thankyou in Greek as he probably realised from my name on my bank card that I was Greek . he could have had a bit more of a dialogue given the restaurant wasn't, busy. I guess his arrogance wouldn't allow him to engage or smile . I also found the rest of the food mediocre and overpriced To make things even worse as soon as we got home my wife has been throwing up and has been ill with food poisoning. I wonder who many days ago the lamb shank had been cooked ? Overall I found this restaurant very disappointing Certainly won't be going there again !!!

Le Petite Greek is between west LA and downtown. The food is always terrific, the wait staff is so nice and helpful, and the dinner experience leaves me happy and in a good mood. My family or guests are always grateful that I suggested having a meal there.

This is one of the best Greek Restaurants I've eaten at! We (my family and I) always get great service- prompt, friendly, and helpful. The wait staff and managers all make the dining experience great. While all the food is great, the hummus and pita is literally to die for. My family has full on fights about who gets the last bit of hummus that we bring home in our leftovers. Seriously. The best hummus you have ever had! The chicken skewers are probably my favorite item to get, though I have tried plenty of the items on their menu. The dolma are delicious too (and I am very picky about what dolma I like). I have been many times and I am always satisfied with the food and service.

I am in Los Angeles, in Larchmont Village, between Wilshire & Beverly Boulevard. My very best Mediterranean "Greece" and "LA", has been Taverna Tony's on Cross Cty. Road in Malibu, Center, CA.v An active oasis of exceptional Hellen and Mediterranean food is "The Petite Greek on Larchmont Blvd. My manerger on day 1, Mario, businessman and actor capsulise every every previous dining experience into an amazing experience. Mykonos or Zakynthos, Santorini, Rhodes, Salonika......all into food and service meant for an Olympian Champion. A must visit. Creatively contemporary and traditionally bringing the best ingredients into a beautifully presented, prepared, served and delicious food. Best of ratings food & what to expect when you are away from your on home.

Great Greek

I wasn't familiar with Larchmont Village but went there for the first time today. My friend's favorite restaurant is Le Petit Greek Restaurant so we went there. I had the pastitsio. The serving was generous and it comes with a Greek salad and potatoes. The decor is very nice including has tablecloths so it's more of an upscale restaurant yet the prices are very reasonable. It was my friend's birthday and I told the hostess so was hoping we might get a piece of baklava or something but no, nothing.

Had a lovely lunch with my boyfriend here the other day. The feta salad was just lovely and huge. And my boyrfiend's lamb wrap was really great too. We also had an amazing sweet dessert which came recommended and it was delicious! Nice vibe, interesting people who go there and service friendly. Only thing is that it is a bit pricey...around $60 for 2 people for lunch.

Very friendly service. Good salads and Greek food. Nice to sit on patio and watch the folks walk by.

The food was great and our waiter very attentive. On street parking wasn't too bad, we found a spot on a side street just around the corner. We were looking for a highly rated Greek restaurant and the Tripadvisor didn't disappoint us. We'll be back

We have been several times on prior visits to LA and also when we lived here --- went with friends who are "regulars." Very ample portions -- I had a chicken dish this time which I thought was good but not great. In candor, I wasn't feeling 100% that evening so perhaps that affected my response to my entrée. The service, as usual, was excellent. Also, though the restaurant gets crowded, it is not difficult to have a conversation. All things considered, I would return.

Very solid greek food locally owned. Lovely people have worked here for years. They treat you well and the food is very good. Not super modern, but lots of thoughtful specials. On a nice day sitting on the sidewalk is sublime

All food well prepared, maybe only lacking the last degree of delicious. Greek specialities in Larchmont Village. Superb, attentive service in a good atmosphere. You are not likely to be disappointed here.

Le Petit Greek is not so Petit but leaves no doubt that it is delicious Greek food. Nestled in Larchmont Village in the heart of Los Angeles, LPG is a community treasure. If your appetite is large the classic Mousaka is layers of flavor. Accented by their classic lemon potatoes and you have a hearty fall meal. You might start with the delectable dolmathes (stuffed grape leaves) or the always delicious Spanokopita (spinach and cheese in Filo) and balance it with the always fresh Greek Salad, filled with cucumbers, tomatoes, Greek olives and wedges of delectable Feta. For lighter fare their Salmon, Whitefish and chicken preparations are tasty and fresh. The delectable starters of Octapodi, Kalamari or the Garides Yuvesti (oven roasted prawns with tomatoes and feta) are great beginnings to a lighter meal. Weather you are wanting a simple glass of wine with some hummus, Tzatziki or Taramoslata (whipped caviar) or a full meal the ambiance is charming. Sit outside and have a private meal or visit with friends and neighbors on Larchmont as they dine or stroll. Sit inside and it is comfortable and charming. A local venue worthy of traveling across town for.
Excellent Service
I had the opportunity to visit this charming restaurant in Larchmont Village twice in the past week. The food is wonderful and the service is excellent-professional and friendly. And the best decaf coffee I've had at any restaurant. Very well managed too.
