Italian quality in Miami!

By Aannaa89 |

After days of American food, we wanted a bit of Italy and here we found it! We got to try both the cuisine and the pizza, as the next night we decided to go back. We were very satisfied with both the service and the raw materials used! We felt right at home! Super recommended!!!

Great dinner with friends

A really delicious restaurant in the trendiest area of Miami. Excellent food and service. High quality, just like in Milan.

Le Specialita - DISAPPOINTING Italian restaurant in Design District in Miami

By byMT305 |

Open in Milan, Italy for more than 40 years, Le Specialita (first USA location) is now open in the Miami Design District - unfortunately, it is “average” at best, and overall a highly disappointing dinning experience. Summary: Ambiance - fair Service - mediocre Food - average (at best) Value - below average Details: Ambiance - an upscale “diner” pop art decor with tables for 4 (or more) and plenty of tables for 2; this is a serious problem for a restaurant where most customers ordered a pizza - the pizza is overwhelmingly too big for a table for 2, leaving no other room for drinks, plates, etc. Service - disorganized (& seemingly confused) Food & drink - Limoncello Spritz($20) - really a wine (prosecco) spritzer; the drink had ZERO limoncello taste “Pizza” ($35 salami)- there’s “think crust” pizza, then there’s this: a minimalist FLAT BREAD with minimal cheese and sauce Wagyu meatballs($28) - average (at best); served very quickly after ordering - obviously NOT made to order taste & texture Dover sole($42) - average tasting, small white fish Rigatoni Carbonara ($36) - mediocre Total bill = $230.91 (20% gratuity already added for disorganized service) Per the food, I don’t think that there would be a single food item that I would reorder. Miami has numerous outstanding Italian restaurants. It’s very difficult to see where Le Specialita (in the outskirts of Miami Design District) fits in? It’s safe to say that this was our first and LAST visit here.

Excellent
