We were staying in Seattle for a few days and stumbled upon Limoncello. What a wonderful small but cozy Italian restaurant. We met the owner, a very charming man, who did his best to make sure we had a table that we desired and that we had the service that was attentive. Our dinner was wonderful and very flavorful. We enjoyed it so much that before we left, we came back for our farewell dinner before leaving Seattle.

To the point: Some of the very best, authentic Italian food we have had in memory (and we are from Boston where there is a lot of it!). The brushcetta's flavors and ingredients were uncommonly well-balanced and a rare taste-treat; we were tempted to ask for another order. The pasta dishes were perfection; the Taglierini Mari e Monti was just plain extraordinary in that the sauce could have made it a very heavy dish but made it ethereal instead. The bartender was outstanding - hitting all the right notes from an Old Fashion to the Limoncello (mixed drink); and the house wine was reasonably priced. The restaurant’s ambience is extremely informal but the food is on par with places that “look” more upscale. Don’t be deceived! We left dearly wishing that we had a place like Limoncello in our neighborhood; but seeing that we don't, we certainly will be returning next summer during our annual visit to Seattle! Thank you for a memorable meal!

Excellent! From the moment we came there were super attentive. Limoncello is super cozy! A true Italian gem in Seattle. Happy hour menu was super good (wine, appetizer, pasta, pizza). We will definitely be back and would totally recommend Limoncello to others

We arrived very early for our reservation but were able to be seated right away. We sat outside having just spent 7 hours on a plane. The bar is limited - only specialty drinks - so my husband was unable to get the martini he wanted. Settled for a Black Manhattan which was sweeter than he would prefer. I stuck to beer. We started with a polenta and gamberi (shrimp) appetizer that was delicious. The 5 large shrimp were perfectly cooked while the polenta was creamy and flavorful. For our mains, I ordered canelloni and and my husband had Pappardelle Pesto e Pollo. Both dishes were rather large portions and very good. My husband's was not very hot but we attributed that to mine being baked and taking longer. But in saying that, I feel mine was a bit overdone. I also must add that at this time the staff is very limited. Our server said that there was only one chef and she was doubling up as server and dishwasher. All in all, if you are in the mood for Italian, this was a good spot.

Homemade pasta, attentive wait staff, and indoor and outdoor seating - a great restaurant! A local friend suggested this restaurant and we sat outdoors in the summer evening. The homemade pasta dishes were delicious. We all enjoyed our meal.

The food was amazing, the risotto with artichokes and pancetta was well worth the price of admission, but add to it great drinks and wonderfully attentive staff and you will not find a better spot in Seattle for Italian food. Not only was the food incredibly delicious but the staff was outgoing from the second we stepped into this establishment, but the owner/chef was also kind enough to suggest places to visit while we were visiting Seattle. Definitely plan to come again before we leave back to NY.

We absolutely loved our experience at Limoncello Belltown. We will definitely be back! We tried: - burrata Limoncello - Pizza Margarita - Homemade Spinach Parpadelle with Pesto - Ravioli di Zucca - Canolli - Affogato Tip: Don't skip the affogato! Make sure to check out my I G @lawyer.traveler.dreamer for more videos of our dinner at Limoncello.

We really liked the restaurant, the environment and the service provided there. We were served by a very polite and helpful waitress. In addition, the food was very good and light! Except the cheesecake and cannoli are extremely good.

Having lived in Italy, I can attest to the authenticity of the food. Amazing atmosphere as well, and our waiter was pleasant and had a sense of humor!

Delicious food and plenty of it. We loved the cured meats the most. However, the squished patio during the rain and not enough heaters wasn't the best atmosphere.

Fresh homemade pasta, very fresh mozzarella. I would bathe in the pesto cream sauce that came with my pasta. The atmosphere and service are also nice. Strongly recommend.

Came in for drinks and dessert after having dinner somewhere else. They were very busy and we just sat at the bar and had gelato, cannoli , and the limoncello flight. Perfect ending.

This place is HOT, so beat your feet to this beautiful place fast! I received a Yelp alert to new and goodly places, and this one has been on my radar instantly. Belltown, you are so, so lucky! Anyway the story is I shot down here by a rocket and missed my exit on the new 99. tunnel, however that was a gas. Ended up a Lams Seafood and while they have beautiful fruit, the smell in the back is atrocious, really wakes you up at 9AM on a Sunday. I turned the ship around and found a parking place near Lemoncielly, that you can pay for in front of a fire hydrant. Sounds like a trap, eh? So I hopped into Limoncello and the owner is ever so nice and very different from our Italian stereotypes, because his is Italian Swiss which makes him so much more interesting. Because of the fire hydrant part of the equation, I didn't have the chance to speak a little Italian and find the owners name, however I will next time. I spent almost $100 and bought a bunch of pastries and a giant pastry apple cake like thing. He said it would be a hit on Thanksgiving, and now is your chance to do the right thing and get one yourself. Now everything is extremely well made, flavors are strong and on target. Sugar is very low which I dearly appreciate, just sweet enough, however, yet no overpowering cloud of sugar smell when you walk in. The apple pastries were over the top and I had to stop eating it just to write this review. You have to realize the berries and apples etc, are all pretty costly to cook down and put in a pastry, so these are really a labor of love. Love you Limonciello, see you soon! I think I will bring a paint bucket to put over that fire hydrant next time :)

Visited for dinner as family of 4 with young children. This place is on smaller side - it was luke warm to kids meaning despite a near empty and early dinner time we were only given option to sit at a rickety wooden table that was uneven and kept rocking. The food was good in terms of portions, quality and temperature. However not having some kind of bread to accompany the burrata meant you're paying an additional $6 for a small assortment of bread. To add the this - the website gives you everything you need to know about the rigidity of the place in terms of minimum ordering amount, 20% gratuity etc. Overall left with tummies full however it came at great cost and luke warm service.

Our first night in Seattle and we stumbled upon this true gem. We had a hard time deciding on a place to eat as we wanted something where we could eat gluten free and have some vegetarian options. After striking out on a few places around the area, we spoke to the owner at Limoncello and he reviewed the menu with us and we found something for everyone in our family: the gluten free carnivore, the regular carnivore, the vegetarian and the mixed needs person. Even with all of this, we were in for a treat. The Lasagne was outstanding, the gnocchi were out of this world, the fettuccine pesto were to die for and the fettuccine ragu was exquisite. After dining on gluten free cheesecake that was so yummy, we also found out that the owner supported local charities during the 2020 shutdowns and donates meals to various courses. All to say that it was excellent. Highly recommend!

First the Good: the burata appetizer and the spinach salad with gorgonzola were very good thanks to the excellent quality of the cheeses. Next the Bad: where do I start....spotty service, understaffed, nice people but inexperienced and awkward...pesto pasta was under seasoned...ravioli w/squash and ricotta order was not put in or forgotten and after waiting while the rest of the party were eating, the pasta finally arrived but was under cooked and the ravioli was drowning in the sauce, was unbalanced and over spiced (all of which are unforgivable for an Italian restaurant)...the halibut in tomato sauce was tasty but nothing special and at $49 was outrageously priced....the bread served il forno style was ok while the olive oil and balsamic was outstanding, however at $6.50 a pop (no bread included with the dishes) and given that the second order didn't make it to the table until we were done eating and was trending toward burnt, the bread also qualifies under the bad....when requests were made for some variations to the dishes due to dietary restrictions, the response was that the chef/owner was in and he does not tolerate any changes to the menu items. Next the Ugly: poor and unbalanced lighting...bathroom unclean, industrial feeling, restaurant atmosphere was dark, dingy inside and the patio was reminiscent of a makeshift construction site and both inside and outside did not engender a feeling of cleanliness. And finally, to add insult to injury, there is a mandatory 20% gratuity (a bit too woke for my liking given the overall experience). I could go on, but I think you get the picture. As a first generation Italian and home cook, I do expect an Italian restaurant to meet certain minimum food and service standards. Unfortunately Limoncello fails the test on all counts as it is most memorable, but for all the wrong reasons.

First ate ar this restaurant during Seattle Restaurant Week. Since then we have ordered their Christmas, Valentine and Easter dinners. They have all been excellent and seems to get better. Food was delicious, varied and generous in portions. I hope that when life is back to normal after the pandemic, we get to enjoy their baked goods.

We celebrated our son’s birthday here. We had vegetarian food. We had Bruschetta and Caprese for appetizers. We had Gnocchi, Pesto pasta, Ravioli and Pizza. The food was superb. The service was excellent. I will surely go there again.

My daughter and I had dinner here on a Sunday evening. Location, food, and service were excellent. Highly recommend. I ordered the squash ravioli and my daughter ordered the gnocchi. The Caeser salad was delicious and the croutons were warm and delicious!

This is amazing hidden gem of an Italian restaurant. Very quaint atmosphere, service is spectacular and the food, you feel like you are in Italy. I had the lasagna and it was amazing. Homemade pasta and the meat sauce was out of this world. For dessert we had the tiramisu and from someone who makes their own this blew mine out of the competition. If you are in Seattle I recommend dinner at least one night. You won’t regret it. The chef is from Italy and the servers are so personable and attentive.

Dined with friends and the food was terribly executed. The gnocchi special was described as slightly spicy with Calabrian peppers and sausage. Probably the worst dish I’ve ever eaten. Friends ordered the gnocchi in meat sauce and it was the other extreme - totally bland and tasteless. For dessert we shared the flourless chocolate cake which we couldn’t cut with a fork or a knife - basically a slab of hard chocolate with a raspberry sauce. Awful experience, we were recommended by our hotel concierge. The only positive was the lovely waitress serving us who saw that we hardly ate and offered us another dish but we declined. Whoever is preparing these dishes needs some serious culinary refinement. And on a bustling Saturday evening at 7PM the restaurant was empty !

We did "take out" from Limoncello's tonight. What looks like an upscale bakery, is actually an excellent Italian restaurant, deserving of high accolades from the local media. As we try different take out options in Seattle since the pandemic lock down, Italian has always been our first choice. It has been with mixed results, but Limoncello's ravioli, risotto and rigatoni were the best of all our take out food. I should add we are very picky, my wife being Italian and learned how to make pasta from her grandmother. The proprietor and chef Eric is from Milano, home of great fashion and great food. My favorite Italian restaurant in the world is in a suburb of Milan, Aimo e Nadia. While Limoncello is not close to Michelin starred cooking, when you consider the amazingly low prices, the excellent al dente pasta and flavorful saucing, Limoncello may be the best deal in the city of Seattle. "Hidden gem," is an overused and often patronizing description of a restaurant. Yet, Limoncello has not been discovered by the restaurant mavens of the city, so it may be hidden, and it certainly is a gem.
Lovely food - good atmosphere
Came here on our first night in Seattle. Limoncello is a charming restaurant with indoor and outdoor seating. Once we were settled with our drinks, an unhurried but courteous approach to service allowed us to take in the friendly atmosphere and surroundings. We could relax, take our time and anticipate our food - one course at a time - which was really enjoyable. One of the best Italian restaurants we have been to in a long time. Would recommend!
