The best of shows. Elegant and classy with a midst of flirtatious energy. The girls are FANTASTIC. Great dinner or Gospel show. Incredible bargain. And let’s not forget the food. Super yummy and a great variety of options. Only negative..... they should charge more!!!.... Don’t be stingy and make sure you leave extra gratuity. Well deserved. Has become a staple visit for my visitors. LOVE LOVE Lips!!💋

I enjoyed Lips. The food was amazing. Our server was extremely nice and their service was outstanding. The show was amazing and the host made the night. Her jokes was so funny and me and my party enjoyed her the most.

We came here for the show and was expecting the food to be wedding/hotel quality. I figured it would fill my belly, but be tough and flavorless - BOY WAS I WRONG, but I get ahead of myself. We took the Green Line to the show (too cheap to Uber); just a short walk to the theater. Yes I did it in heels . . . not easy but accomplished. We had booked the late seating. Lovely Tori greeted us (party of two) and sat us right next to the stage. We were going to have a view! A lovely queen came to take our drink order and explain how to find the digital menu. It was very hard to hear her with the background music playing and her clear chin face mask. Those drink were delivered. We opted for the Frozen Cosmo and were not disappointed - they were pleasantly strong. My partner was a bit chilled and inquired about a warm drink. Coffee was available and they added a shot of Bailey's. It did the trick. We watched as others arrived. A very large bachelorette party was in the center of the room, and then a smattering of other tables due to COVID restrictions. All of the servers were masked. The showplace was beautifully appointed. It was over the top but not garish. Funky yet classy. A perfect setting for the queens to do their thing. Our permanent waitress then came to take our order. She wanted to get it in prior to the large party. We appreciated her thoughtfulness. A food runner brought out our caesar salads which were dressed perfectly and not swimming in dressing. And then the meals arrived. I had the rigatoni in vodka sauce and my partner the grilled chicken breast. I was truly blown away by the flavor and presentation of the food. But the tenderness of the chicken both in my pasta and that of my parter's meal was astounding. The only slight disappointment was that the menu said we would get a dessert but one never arrived. The show was everything I had hoped for and more. This was my first drag show. I had seen Trixie Mattel in a solo show and I have seen Les Ballets Trockadero, but not a traditional show. I appreciated the stage hostess saying something about tipping the performers because I was not aware that was a thing and did not come prepared. Our food runner graciously broke some $20s for us. The 'singing' was spot on. The dancing shook all the right things. The energy remained high for the night. $5 shots with a sparkly ring were offered midway and of course we needed those! After the show Tori spoke to my partner and I for about 15 minutes about her experience and answering the questions my partner and I had. We really appreciated the time she took with us. Before leaving we checked out the restrooms - which were upstairs . . . ugh - drunk test. I told you the drinks were good!! The upstairs had high top tables for when they were at full capacity. The bathrooms were lovely. I can't wait to return. I look forward to attending the Gospel Brunch.

My sister took me out for my big 50th birthday! As soon as we entered we were excited because the decor and all the ladies were fabulous. The service at the bar was great as were the drinks. When we were seated I noticed my sister whispering about something turns out she was confirming the birthday package. As soon as our server approached the table she said do you know what you want to eat. It was a bit abrupt since we had about 30 seconds to review the menu. We asked for suggestions and she replied that she had only tried two of the options. My sister once again started whispering. The salads arrived quickly and they were large but just okay. The entrees were DELICIOUS. A gentleman checked on us and my sister asked about the birthday package for a 3rd time. He quickly brought over my crown that it seemed like everyone else had since they were seated. As a 50 yr old woman this was not a big deal to me but it was to my sister because she planned for this to be part of our evening. Our sever came halfway through our entrees to offer water for the first time. My sister pointed out that someone else had to bring the hat and her response was “well she has it now”. We also had to request our dessert which our neighboring table had already received and finished. The show was fun and entertaining and we will be back but I hope service improves otherwise I would skip dinner and watch from the bar.

The place is awesome. Beautiful decorations. The show was great! Very entertaining I know there is limited time. They serve the food at the same time as the show so some of it is a little distracting but it was still awesome!

Had a great time. Fun drag show, great food and drinks. Wish our waitress was in a better mood. Had no sense of humor. All others were great and we had a wonderful evening. Be cool to see some group numbers.

Selection is very small, my chicken was bland and they did not have all the sides they advertised. It was over priced. The performers were ok, they had the tables way too close. The waiters couldn’t even fit thru the isles. I’ve been to other shows and I liked their setup way better

We came to Chicago for the weekend to just get away from the office for a few days. I talked my husband into coming here since we didn't go for my birthday this year (We started a tradition last year that he'll take me for my birthday to a drag show of my choice.) Food was fantastic, and the show was excellent, even with the Covid Protocols in place. We felt everything was cleaned well and people were spaced in a way that no one came in close contact. I've already recommended to 3 of my friends who are visiting Chicago later this year. Can't wait to come back!

I am a huge fan of drag shows & this was NOT it. The queens may have huge talent although there was no show. They must have danced for about 10 seconds before just walking around for the remainder of the song asking for cash tips. It feels like it is more about the money than providing the audience an actual show. I truly felt taken advantage of as there was no performance Also, they tell you it’s $45.99 per person and it was very disappointing because they continuously keep trying to get you to buy “special shots” during the show while asking for cash tips. Then they provide themselves a 20% gratuity once you get your receipt at the end of the night. There also was a lack of professionalism from the staff, I had another reservation with friends for another day so I called to cancel and they asked how I enjoyed the previous performance as they saw my name on the reservation from the night before. I told them how I honestly felt about the performance and in no rude way. They hung up on me. This all bothered me way more than the poor quality food provided as my expectations for food were not high, so I was not disappointed there. It met my expectations of mediocre dry food. Which I didn’t even mention to them. I’d go to another drag show elsewhere to enjoy an actual performance. This does not allow them to show their talents which is very unfortunate because I’m sure they have a lot of it.

Love love this place the food and shows are absolutely fabulous. I’ll be back again and again. The atmosphere is something to behold.

Went last night, and every single queen was royalty, especially Ari who served us, and was so talented and charming, and her performances were insanely good. I loved her so much. Please make sure she gets to see this message!

We went for the Sunday brunch (unlimited bloody’s and champagne!!) and had a great time. The show and food were excellent!

Visited Lips for the first time in Chicago and I have to say it was the best drag experience I’ve had to date. I went to Gospel Brunch. Top notch performers, not to mention hilarious. Lots of brunch options. I loved the crab cake benedict. The environment was super camp, in a good way. Will definitely visit again when in town.

It was my first time at lips but this is a go to place for sure... the scenery is just fabulous and the atmosphere is perfect... the girls and mcee are very entertaining.. I will be returning for sure.

My friends/family surprised me with a bachelorette party. The place was beautiful. I was in awe of the detail in the decorating. Everyone was friendly. Customer service is some of the best. Performances were great!! The food was soooo good! Seasoned perfect! I’d go back alone for that. The chicken Parmesan was what I had and I’m hooked. The host was hilarious and so warming. She takes shots at everyone but it’s all in good fun. Please don’t be sensitive because it’s not meant to hurt you. PLEASE VISIT!!!! Almost forgot the drinks were good too! Try the kick that b*tch to the curb lol

My group had an awesome time it was definitely worth it can’t wait to return the food and drinks were awesome and wonderful customer service

We went there with a large group, 71 people! We all had the very best of times. Food is delicious, drinks are good, the girls are fabulous! cannot go wrong for a great time out.

LIPS Chicago is hands down the best drag brunch in Chicago. The energy in the room was lit from beginning to end. The service was outstanding, the food and drinks were great and the performances were amazing. Ruff n Stuff, the host of the LIPS Chicago Gospel Brunch was simply, hilarious. Her gospel drag performances had people on their feet. I can’t wait to return.

I’ve visited Chicago more times than I can count over the years and never heard about Lips. Privileged to have attended their Gospel Brunch today…hilarious & didn’t want it to end!!!

I went for a friend sweet 16 party, and I had an absolute blast! I expect you to have fun, but it blew me away!

Went for the first time on Saturday for a moms night out and had a blast! Top quality show, great service and the interiors elevate the entire experience. Planning a return visit, soon!

Soft Opening Was #Amazing Family And Friends Day #Amazing Glitz And Glam Show #Perfect but need to update music and not do same shows back to back in same night or next day Gospel Brunch with ruffnstuff is my all time favorite. Not really a fan of the Broadway night but it cute if you like that type. Food is great Drinks are great When I go I sit at the bar everytime. Love Nikki and Gio always get me and my guest right everytime we go! Love all the queens. Downfall is their is a queen by the name of Aira B Cassadine. Her trotted is always nasty and not appropriate in the setting of being around ppl or working with ppl. She needs to fix her attitude or give her the boot. Love LipsChicago

I enjoyed the show but the food was horrible. It was the nastiest pasta I’ve ever eaten. Drinks were $5 if you ordered off a special menu but it’s not even worth it.

From The Time I Walked In To The Time I Left, I Felt Like A QUEEN!!! The Staff was beyond AMAZING. The Entertainers had me gagged from beginning to end. It was high energy and glamor the entire night. My eyes were blinded by the Glitz and Glam. Food Was to die for. You have to try the steak, and girlllllll get extra butter on that steak. Enjoyed the show and the birthday acknowledgment and reduced drinks I will come back again and bring more make friends as I think they would find the shows entertaining and the well dressed guys as truly exotic

Probably not the first place that comes to most people’s minds when looking for a place to celebrate a sweet 16 birthday, but this was our choice and we’re so glad! The food is delicious (try the steak frittes), the service is top notch, and the decor and lighting make for some great photos. The Queens work hard serving up food and drinks to the tables and then serving up amazing entertainment - you won’t be disappointed! My daughter was thrilled to be honored for her birthday by the lovely ladies at Lips - truly a birthday to remember. Two things to note: 1. The jokes/language can be a little raw, but nothing you haven’t heard in a million movies. 2. Be sure to have a wallet full of singles to tip the ladies as they perform.

It was my first time and I was there for my birthday!!! It was such an amazing experience that I would encourage everyone to go and have a “Lips” experience!

Great brunch and so entertaining, the concept is unique and it’s a fun place to have a good meal and be entertained with a high quality drag show. Don’t forget to bring your wiggles to top the girls, they really work hard serving and performing

Right off the back you walk into a fantasy land of Glitter and cheetah print where you’re welcomed by smiles and great hospitality. Food is amazing and the drinks will have you coming back for seconds(if you can handle it😉) but nothing compares to the amazing shows the queens 👸🏾 put on they’ll have you on your feet and ignite your hearts i would recommend this place to all my friends and family!

I have now been to 3 out of 5 locations Lips has to offer. The soft opening for the Chicago location did not cease to amaze me. Inside the venue is absolutely jaw dropping, I felt like royalty the moment I walked through the threshold, and the food is to die for, actually finger licking good. Lets not forget about the Queens, who gave a show to remember. The energy, the lights, the glamour. I will definitely be back again and again.
