Great Show Good Food

By mokfmb |

I find the food here to be surprisingly good , I was expecting less from a diner+ show for $32, specially when the show was funny and entertaining. the decor is also spot on, I'm not a big drinker but they have a Frozen Peach Margarita that was fantastic (I got 2) the only think I didn't like was the tipping after every performance (6 or 7) but since the price for the meal+show was more than fair, I didn't mind it that much.

Great Entertainment But...

By Phavored1 |

The birthday girl wanted to celebrate here and it was fun. The staff, the entertainment, the service, all excellent. What wasn't cool is you have to order a meal; that's the entry fee, if you will, but the food is horrible. There were 4 of us, 4 different orders plus an appetizer, and no one finished their food after 2 bites. Even the chicken on the salad was lousy: dry and chalky. It wasn't worth it. I would love to go back, but not with this set up. If I can just pay to enter and order drinks, that will get me back.

Ringing in 2015

By Michael S |

My friends and I went to Lips on New Year's Eve for their second show. It was fun from when walked into the door till when we left. The food was great. So good I started eating off my friends plates just to try different things that was served. Everyone that worked there from the runners, the bartenders, servers to management were all very helpful and attentive. I enjoyed the drag show. All the performances were great. They all had me dancing in the asile. Charlie Brown was so funny The restaurant itself was beautifully design and and was decorated well for New Years. I will be going back. Can't wait to try out Bingo and the Gospel Sunday Brunch. I will recommend Lips to everyone and anyone. Five stars for Lips.

Not worth the hype. “/

The food is average but costs the price of a four star restaurant. I would say it’s for the convenience of the whole show but it isn’t convenient. The servers are lazy and inattentive, the queens were lazy. Half of the girls didn’t know their lines which is always okay as long as you try and make it funny but unfortunately the girls couldn’t have cared less. Just walked around for their tips. I will say, though I tipped our server about fifteen percent (like I said, it was really poor service and food) but I did tip the only queen who really tried and gave it 100. Wouldn’t go back until those girls and waiting staff are ready to sing for their supper.

Incomparable!!!

By Kajjax |

Over the top awesome!!!!! Probably the best Atlanta has to offer in dinner entertainment - but NOT for the faint of heart. If you’re easily offended, don’t go, you will leave crying. Some of the crassest yet most fabulous drag queens in the world will not only wait on you but also entertain through the course of the meal. Food is excellent and the menu is varied enough to please everybody. Overall a bit pricey, but SO worth it. Great for special celebrations, birthdays, bachelor/ette parties or just hanging with friends.

0/10 horrible

By Richard R |

This place is closed despite having a program for a show on their website. The website won’t allow one to make reservations, the phone number is not answered (despite several calls), their Instagram profile states it takes them 30 minutes to answer a query (they never bothered to respond) and the wrong address is listed in the website (learned this after being dropped off by an Uber in a dark alley). Worst experience with a queer establishment in Atlanta. They actively promote bachelorette parties 🤮. A minstrel show for drunk straight women. 0/10

Birdcage meets Southern Hospitality.

I took my wife for her birthday along with 10 of our friends and we had a BLAST!It was so great that they were able to accommodate all of us in the same table. So highly recommend to make reservations "WAY" in advance especially if you have a large party.

Show was good but BEWARE the wait staff will question your gratuity!

By cpayne1997 |

The show itself was fun, a little shorter than I expected, each person only performed once. The food was good, slightly overpriced which is expected for a dinner show. We did pay a cover fee and had a minimum food order that evening. Drinks are a bit pricey but were good and strong. My main issue was after the show the waitress actually asked why we did not leave a better gratuity. There were 11 people in our party and we were in the process of collecting all of the money when she came by and grabbed the black portfolio with the credit cards. We were not done collecting the cash for gratuity at that time. When she returned she asked " Why did you leave less than 20% tip"? First of all......Gratuities are NOT REQUIRED....EVER! The Definition of gratuity is something given voluntarily or beyond obligation usually for some service. Secondly we were not done collecting the cash from the rest of our party and we all felt it was quit rude to question an amount of money that was given without obligation. We sat thru the whole show with our waitress hanging out at the bar (she was not a performer) not checking on us, offering to get us more drinks or even filling our water glasses. A member of our party had to go directly to the bar for another drink. After that interaction we choose not to leave 20% and adjusted the gratuity accordingly. So just be warned that you may be questioned about your gratuity if it is not to their liking!

Sunday Brunch

By ashsaidit.com |

Omg! I don't recall the last time I had this much fun!!! The outer appearance of the building looks boring. That is a facade. Walking inside is like walking into the ultimate fantasy! There is glitter and crystal everywhere. Loved it. We went to the gospel brunch on Sunday. I'm so glad we did. The food was phenomenal. Absolutely the best blueberry pancakes ever! They were homemade like someone's granny was back there. The drinks were on point too! This is a great outing for a birthday celebration or just to get out. Why? Cuz ASH SAID IT!!! #ashsaidit

We had lots of fun!

By JHR6301 |

We enjoyed the dinner and drag show. I had mushroom ravioli, and it was quite good. Another person in our group had lobster ravioli which was also good. My husband enjoyed the crab cakes. You pay $5 cover fee and are required to spend at least $15 on your meal. They celebrate birthdays and engagements. You need a good sense of humor as you might end up on the stage! Four entertainers did several songs each as different divas such as Beyonce, Whitney Houston, etc. We went on Sunday. Different shows are on different nights. Risqué fun indeed.

Fun, fun evening

By Saba |

Went with a bunch of friends. We had so much fun. Great value. The $5.00 frozen cosmos were terrific. Pleasantly surprised at how good the food was. I recommend the salmon, the vegetables were fresh and tasty. The mini cannolis were a nice treat for dessert, and just the right amount. The show was fabulous, the actors worked hard, were very funny thoroughly entertaining. Great value. Food, drink and entertainment for around $30.00 . Make sure to have lots of single dollar bills to reward the staff

Not All That!

By LAD22266 |

It wasn’t like any Drag show I’m used to in Chicago, NYC, or Key West....at best it was bad lip syncing with washed up Drags who do little more than walk around and ask for cash. No stage presence or talent.

A great place for Sunday Brunch and laughs!

By Cedrick T |

This is an amazing place for brunch and drag entertainment. Bubba D. and the Gospel Brunch Divas are awesome. The chicken and waffles were delicious and so were the mimosas. There is a full bar as well. They do a beautiful birthday tribute and give the birthday guy or girl a slice of cake and a photo with the show hosts. This is a great place for a couple of friends or a large group. They only provide one check for the table so bring cash to make it easier. The brunch menu is limited but delicious. The ambiance is Las Vegas show times ten. Mother and I really enjoyed the performances. Go, go, go!

Lips is the best night of enter"taint"ment in Atlanta

By Riot R |

What an awesome evening of enter"taint"ment! So many smiling faces in one room, you really can't leave unhappy. The food has vastly improved in the last year or so. the vegan green curry veggies are TOP NOTCH! Go getchu some and take plenty of dolla bills y'all!

Dinner and a Disco-Fabulous Drag Show!!!

By Charlotte S |

Found this gem by word of mouth. They serve a reasonably good dinner and have a full bar with reasonably priced drinks. The setting is all disco-fabulous!!! We got reservations and there were maybe 80 other people there for the same show. Our waitress was one of the Drag performers and did a great job of both! Make sure to bring single dollar bills cause these girls work for tips! For a Wednesday evening in Atlanta, I couldn’t have had a better time!!

FUN FUN

By a a |

THis is a fun place, decor great, friendly i mean friendly staff, entertainiment to die for, everyone in our group had a great time from ages 22-65, what a great night out, food was OK drinks were good, audience mixed males an females enjoyed a night out in Atlanta, those performers gave us our monies worth, I have spread the word in my social circle, A MUST, reservations are needed for a Saturday night Valet parking YEAH

Pros & Cons

By Jan L |

My daughter's and I are always up for a new adventure! This definitely fit the bill! We visited on a Wednesday night which had no cover charge and a few drink specials with a $15 food purchase minimum per person. The food was good and the entertainment fabulous. They really know how to entertain the crowd. The waitress was attentive but unfriendly which we ignored. Now for the only CON. Half of the show consisted of the entertainers dancing between the rows of tables to songs that indicated they wanted money/tips. They didn't mind embarrassing the audience any way they could to get a tip. Now some time devoted to this cause is understandable, BUT it was literally half the show. It was not only boring to watch but annoying and uncomfortable. We probably would return again just to see if maybe it was an off night.

Enjoyed myself...

By Mookie1019 |

This was my first time at "LIPS" on New Years Eve the 7:30 show. I can say that my friends and I really enjoyed the show and our waitresses. Everyone was pleasant and comical. Our waitress "Michelle" was a blessing and her make up was flawless. The mc of the night was Ms. Charlie Brown she was very funny especially when she did the remix of get here when you can, with "f_ _ k me if you can". For the appetizers we had crab cakes and ravioli with squash sauce (delicious) for our entree we had baked chicken breast stuffed with spinach, broccoli, mashed potatoes. This is a location that I would definitely return to. One suggestion is to clarify the menu because what was seen on line, was not the same menu that was presented to use for dinner. It was fewer choices. Lips you ladies rock. Happy New Year

Extremely Enjoyable: Performers Were Brilliant

By DWB1982 |

Drag may not be everyone's favourite form of entertainment however this bar offers something different: high quality female inpersonators who laugh with rather than at the audience. I saw the 'Dining With The Divas' show which featured Adele, Whitney, Cher, Tina and others: the quality was extremey high. It was comic without being excessively vulgar and I loved it. Drinks and food were well priced and service was excellent: the girls who perform also wait on the tables so you get to know your performers. I want to go back for the 'Taboo' show where 'anything goes' according to the compere. A great evening! From what I hear, weekends sell out - so if you want to go at this time it may be best to book in advance.

Birthday Celebration

By Jessica T |

Went here for my birthday and had a great time. MAJOR complaint is being charged $10 for a birthday package that we didn't ask for. The waitress asked us if we're celebrating anything and when we told her a birthday, she came back with a crown. It would have been nice if at that point we were told that there's a $10 birthday package fee. Instead, it just showed up on our bill. On top of that, I didn't go onstage to get a cupcake or picture so I basically paid $10 for a crown. Food also wasn't to die for and one person out of our party was served a dry hamburger and no condiment for the fries as they had ran out of ketchup. Seating and show time also fell behind schedule. Performances were awesome once the show did start.

Birthday Bash

By Nilynnez M |

My girls took me as a birthday surprise and it was super fun. You laugh and sing and eat and even play the tambourine! Went on a Sunday for brunch and had the crab cakes. It was soo good. Best of all $6.00 all you can drink Mimosas.

Great Fun!!!

By MrsMQJ |

Had been to this venue before but decided to bring my friends for a Girls' Weekend in Atlanta along with some other festivities!! We went to the Taboo show. We had a ball!!! The Queens were giving us life!!! The food isn't that great but the show was awesome and the drinks were good!!! Will definitely go back and recommend this place to anyone!!!

Bachelorette party

We had a great time celebrating with our bride. She got to go on stage and everything. Drinks were good. Will be returning.

Last Minute Date Night

By Elizabeth D |

My husband and I had a blast! We were looking for something new to do for date night and I wanted to get out of the suburbs and into the city! We will absolutely return for another show! The food was very good and the Ladies were amazing!

Excellent food and entertainment

By Kim S |

We had an excellent time at this show and restaurant. The food was very good (my chicken was a little dry but still good). The show was excellent and a lot of fun to experience. We had a great time and I can't wait to do it again.

Great Food & Fun!!!

By fee g |

When I say BLAST.. we had a blast. We stumbled upon this quaint little place after leaving our hotel looking for food. The show had already started so we ordered our food and waited around for the 2nd show!!! When I say everyone from the bartender to the servers were energetic and eager to help and advise good food and stivj around for the later show. After the first drink I was hooked!!!- made sure I saved enough time to return before I left.. Great show..great ladies... Great fun!!!-so much fun one patron peed her pants... Hilarious

good, but not great

By Barbie S |

Drag shows are always fun and you will have a good time here. But I only gave this 3 of 5 because I've seen better in other cities. The long banquet tables here are a bit too functional. Would prefer smaller restaurant style tables throughout. The birthday and bride intros went on way too long and you lost of lot of audience energy at that time. Also, the performers were good, but again I've seen better. Honestly, they all could have been raunchier, nakeder, flamier. They dance all around the room (while lip synching) for tips rather than you going up to the stage to tuck a buck. The overly loud volume was painful; it doesn't have to be 300 decibels .....200 (the equivalent of a jet engine) is still just fine. Sounds like I'm only complaining and I don't mean to. Look, if you've never been....... >>> GO HERE!!! <<<< The food was good and the drinks were plentiful. All was reasonably priced. The site itself and décor is great. It's still a blast.

Watered down drinks but still fun

By Anleba87 |

The three things I liked: We went for my birthday and I loved that I was singled out on stage (My friends paid $10 I got a brownie and photo along with a minute of fame!). The show was fun and we enjoyed the silliness. I actually enjoyed the food. I had the steak frites, cooked decently while my friends had the chicken parm and salmon. All of us enjoyed dinner. Our server was awesome. Did an excellent job. Very attentive. Saturday's menu is very limited. But still something for everyone, even a vegan. My biggest complaint is that I did not think our 2,3 drink or shots had any/ much liquor in them. I even questioned if the shot had ANY liquor at all. Maybe they forgot? The first drink I had was from the bar. I saw alcohol poured in it and it was yummy. My 2,3 drink seemed to be virgin ones of the 1st. I then ordered a shot. Which tasted like lemonade. I ordered another drink-vodka with a splash of cranberry directly from the bar and I could see alcohol poured but it tasted like water with vodka and a hint of cranberry. Don't bother with the shot they offer -hormone- as it also lacked any alcohol. You'd think I'd have had a buzz of some sort after all that in 2 hours but I did not. Lastly, there were 3 of us and they added a 20% tip. I'm use to that for big groups but they shorted our server. She was so good; I was prepared to leave almost 20 more dollars but went with what they added. Come prepared with cash as the performers come around like strippers asking for money. Some were really obnoxious about it as well but that's the atmosphere. Overall I had a great time. I was just disappointed in the drinks. Next time, I'll bring airplane bottles of vodka to add to my drinks! Go and have a great time. It was fun.

Dinner & drag in Hotlanta!

By mstngpony68 |

Great dinner drag show! Offer complementary valet parking only. No self parking. Cover charge plus minimum food/drink order. Gratuity included. These ladies work on tips from the drag show. My favorite performance was Aliyah Atlanta, who was also our waitress. Had a blast. Loud & sometimes raunchy, not kid/family friendly. Make it a girls night & go if your in Atlanta.

The food and drinks SUCK! They getting over on customers

By Nicole D |

The food was cheaply made very bland and just down right disgusting! You pay almost $70.00 a piece for nothing! 30% tip... and our waitress sucked. We had to ask a busy boy to bring our salad... she was more attentive to the bigger party.. The salad is plain lettuce with Caesar dressing no tomatoes no croutons ... the salmon was dry and bland. The shrimp scampi with white wine sauce was watery and bland no taste at all... should have just paid the $30.00 for the burger and fries at least with that you can’t mess that up.. the entertainment was great but the food and drinks could have been way better! I feel as though I wasted 70.00 for nothing! The drinks were watered down and not strong at all! This was my 3rd and last time going to lips!!! If the food and drinks were better and more lavish then i may revisit for 70.00 per person .. but for now I’ll just stay away!!! Heck, my 17 year old cooks better than Lips Atlanta Chefs...

Best Time Ever

By Demarquelli W |

I went for the first time in August. It was so much fun. Hadn't been out in a while and that was the icing on the cake. Our waiter was great (Justin ). Kept us entertained and took good care of us. He also put on an awesome performance. Love this place!

Happy First Anniversary

By MBGChicago |

I was staying up the street for business when I mentioned Lips showing up on a search of nearby restaurants to a friend. Being local, she said she'd been for the grand opening, and we started making plans to go. Then, poof! An invitation to their first anniversary appeared in her inbox. What a blast! Great show. Tina Turner & Whitney Houston look-alikes were amazing! There were passed hors d'ourvres, which were tasty, and great drinks. The crowd was eclectic, which meant we two straight women didn't stick out at all. It's a must-see, and I can't wait until they open the Chicago location.

Absolute FUN FUN FUN!!

By Kellie D |

I had the absolute best time. YOU HAVE TO GO!!' I've been to LIPS San Diego and both were fabulous. I experienced the awesome Divas in CA, and Twisted Broadway in ATL. The food was delicious, I had the seared salmon, yum! The drinks were perfect! But the performers were off the chain. I loved Twisted Broadway when Ursula performed the broke out in absolute FAB-DIVA-TABULOUS....I bought died (loved loved it) I wish I took more photos but I was so into the performances. I am definitely going to visit the one in Chicago next. Hope they're open when I go!!

Best drag show in town!!

By Dustin F |

The food, drinks, and entertainment was nothing but FANTASTIC!! I definitely recommend to anyone visiting town or local!!👍👍

Great evening with delicious food

By roosterza |

Having visited Lips NYC a number of times, I decided to make a booking at Lips Atlanta. The Atlanta restaurant lived up to the Lips name, and delivered a great evening's entertainment with good food. The ingredients were fresh and the food was delicious. I attended alone, relying on a warm welcome, and was made to feel very comfortable. The entertainers were extremely friendly, and the drag queen that looked after my order was professional and attentive. I had a great evening, and would happily recommend. Make sure you look at the website, so you know what the evening's entertainment is.

Show great, Food mediocre, Service - eh....

By Katrina D |

We had heard such great things about this place so in all fairness, our expectations were high and we are a little spoiled with our restaurant choices which are mostly farm to table, single proprietor establishments. (Tip 1) Do NOT arrive early. We booked the Saturday evening 11:30 Taboo show and arrived at 11:00. The previous show was not over yet so we had option of sitting in the car, waiting in the crowded lobby or be squished at the bar that was shoulder to shoulder packed. (Tip 2) Do NOT expect top shelf anything or your favorite cocktail. Think 20 something icky sweet bachelorette specials. And wine selection was Red or White. I asked for a bloody mary - nope. Settled for beer. (Tip 3) Eat before you get there. Do not arrive thirsty. When we were finally sat, in a banquet style setting, the server was prompt. Took our orders, got our water but it took so long to get our drinks that we finished our appetizer and waters. Had to get management involved to get drinks. Food was VERY sub-par. The show also did not start for almost an hour after we were sat. And that is when we FINALLY got our drinks. (Tip 4) order your next round of drinks as soon as your first arrives for timely service. Once the show finally started, it was entertaining. But as for the x-rating that it was given, not so much. It was fairly tame. We were also sat on the far side of the room and by the time the entertainers were making to that side their set was over. So (Tip 5) try to be seated by the stage or in the center. It is def. a bucket list thing, have to do at least one time. Not sure if we will go back. Maybe to see some of the impersonators during the week when we were told it was not so crowded.

Hysterical Gospel Camp Brunch. When Jesus said "love everyone" he meant these guys!

By arockefellerview |

Fun & sparkly niteclub venue for over the top Camp and Glamour Drag entertainment, cocktails and a bite to eat or host an event. Especially popular for birthdays, batchelor/ette parties. Moderately priced. Highly interactive performances with the audience always surprise. You'll laugh, you'll whoop n' holler, you'll blush, & you might even sing! Gospel themed Sunday Brunch $17.95 included mini muffin basket, choice of entrees & Brunch Favourite (alcohol based) beverage. $5 cover charge. Full bar service. Tipping entertainers is encouraged & easily accomplished as they weave their magic, costumes & performances throughout the floor, plucking them from eager fans, like so many roses. Internationally acclaimed Hollywood, Television, Broadway & Vegas guest performers often appear. Regular & valet parking Extremely good value considering the entertainment.

So much fun!

By Zippy P |

I really enjoyed my experience here! We went for the Sunday brunch. Some of the performers were better than others, but everyone was saucy and nice, and the staff seemed to be a well-oiled machine. Also, the food and drinks were surprisingly good for a stunt restaurant. Keep trying to get another group together to go again!

Fun time in Atlanta!

By natnoodle11 |

I went here for a friend's birthday party and had a blast. They call everyone up on stage who had a birthday or anniversary. The show lasted an hour and a half or so, and it was a lot of fun! Food was pretty decent as well.

Simply Draglicious!

By Martin M |

The place looks like a drag queen's jewelry box, rhinestones, sequins and all that glitters. The show is great, the performers go all out to make it a memorable experience especially if it's your birthday. A great place to bring your friends, out of town guests and someone special. The food is good, and offers several choices. The Sunday Gospel Brunch is hilarious, the chicken and waffles are great. You have to experience Lips at least once in your life. A great show, good food and lots of fun.

Really fun with family and friends!

By Susan M |

I've been wishing to go to a drag show/bar forever!!! Well, we had a blast because all who attended wanted to experience the adventure. We played B Bingo after our not-so-bad dinner...we had coconut shrimp and pot stickers for apps---the shrimp was really yummy and spicy, pot stickers were okay. We dined on ceasar salads, burgers with fries, mushroom ravioli, and chicken tenders----portions were more than adequate. Variety of cocktails with sweet clever names. The queens did a wonderful job entertaining the audience...with impersonations, singing and jokes. Bring a lot of ones!!!!! For tipping the lovely ladies. All in all, fun fun evening and I won a brunch for 2 for a future visit. A great ladies night out, but guys are welcome.

Quite the Experience!

By ttbryan1 |

I have been to both the brunch on Sunday as well as a dinner on Saturday night. Both times I had an excellent experience. The show was extremely entertaining and the food was very good. The menu is limited, but the options are still good. It is adult fun, so keep the kids at home. You must have a reservation and do it in advance because the shows fill up. It would be perfect for a birthday or bachlorette party.

Fabulous Entertainment and Brunch.

Good Show..Bad Ending

By CT2GA770 |

So I had arranged a girl's getaway weekend where I had two of my bestfriends from out of state fly in for the weekend. This was one of the locations on our to do list that we were excited about the most. We had heard about it in advance from watching Housewives of Atlanta and so I made the resetvations. There was like a $10-20 charge for each of us as an entrance fee which we were cool with. There was also "complimentary" valet parking which made us feel like we were dealing with some real professionals. The venue was packed and everyone seemed excited including us. Several of the ladies from Lips were walking around and we shot a few pics before we were seated. Lips does not allow separate checks which I was told over the phone when I called in my reservations. During the event they put on a show where several ladies come out lipsyncing and moving throughout the crowd (and are tipped...we spent about $30 in tips total). Oir food was good and so were the drinks. At the end our total combined came up to like $115. We weren't expecting it to be that high as we had the norm..wings..fries..but hey, we were happy. So we left the total alone with like a $10 tip. Our hostess came over to pick up the book and literally looked inside ...counted the tip then proceeded to ask.."did you all enjoy the show?"..we relied that we did. Then she says how she finds it hard to believe when we left less than 15% tip and how others normally leave a 20% tip. We were disgusted and left. Then we get the car from valet..with little change left..the parking attendant would not let the driver close her door until we all gave him a tip as he stated "you know we only get paid from tips" Neverrrrr again will I go there nor would I recommend anyone else unless you have REAL HOUSEWIVES OF ATLANTA money

Great for a girls' night out

By Crystal B |

The show was great, the performers were beautiful/weird/funny/hot! We laughed a lot. The drinks were good, food was okay. It took a long time for us to get in and get seated because it was busy. Take dollar bills to tip the performers - - we didn't know about this so we weren't prepared. Good place to go for a birthday or bachelorette party. I saw a few couples there, but that was just weird.

My New Go To Spot for a Great Night Out!

By Karen R |

I had always heard about Lips, but had never been. Let's just say these ladies were FIERCE! I had an amazing time, myself and two other girlfriends went to the Saturday Show and was blown away. I do not remember names but I love the performer who did the Beyonce performance! Fabulous Darling---Just Fabulous! Be sure to have your singles ready! The Blojito was delish and My Kamikaze shot woke me up! Oh, 1:30am is the cut off for drinks, so be sure to get there in enough time to enjoy the drinks--as they are tasty! This is definitely the go to spot for a great night out! Drinks and meals are affordable.

Lips Lives Up To Its Lovely, Luxurious Reputation!!

By HotelHobbitRaqs |

Lips Atlanta has been one of the top hot spots in my circle of friends on their visits to the city. After posting countless photos and reviews of this mega marvelous house of style and excitement, I had (and still have) friends begging me to add them to my weekly RSVPs. While I have had to pause my visits due to travel and other assignments, I am counting down the days until I can return. My most recent visit was so incredible that there really are no words to describe it. I had a superbe seat next to the stage, the staff was over the top generous, interactive and very kind to my visiting pals from out of state. No matter who I bring with me they always have a good time and can't wait to go back again (several have come with me multiple times). What is the big attraction? The show is over the top, the entertainers and staff are extremely warm and kind. If you come in ready to rock and roll they can feel that and return the same energy. I adore them all. From Gia Sunflowers to Justice Counce, Savannah Leigh to Aria B. Cassadine and the whole superbe Lips staff and management Mr. Lamberth and Mr. Stephen, they are all ultra amazing. The management is extremely professional and sharply dressed. The legendary Charlie Brown is there on Fridays and Saturdays (I heard she's gonna be there on a Thursday for the Southern Comfort Conference of which I hope to attend). She's stunning, I just want to hug on her for hours. Her jokes and show will make your hair stand on end so be ready to laugh or be shocked. It's all in good fun! The drag entertainers (I call them Royals b/c they are totally regal to infinity) are also your wait staff. So for a short moment, they'll run back stage, change and get on the stage to give it their all...and they turn that place into a complete club-like, concert atmosphere. Excitement runs high and people leap out of their seats to dance and sing along. The visitors turn into superfans because one falls head over heels for each of these ladies/drag queens and we can barely stay seated. Money is flying around from people tossing cash to the royals, it goes from an elegant dining hall to a crazy love fest of new friendships with everyone just in full admiration of the show. I've made a few new friends from customers I sat near, that's how chummy it gets in there (Hi Charlotte!). These are not amateurs!! Many of the staff are legends in the entertainment community and have been presenting their art for years (though no one looks older than 35 max) so you're getting a real show. I went to the one in New York and while it's certainly amazing, the one in Atlanta is so super sexy and exciting it's twice as addictive. The food is very good. I suggest the 'Michelle LaCroix, Fettucine Alfredo with Shrimp.' Every time my friends and I order this dish it is consistently delicious. My usual is the Lobster Ravioli and crab cakes (5-6 very large ravioli filled to the brim with ricotta and herbs and covered in a tomato cream sauce, the crab cakes are perfect). I dare say I've wanted to lick my plate, it's that good. My friends like the cheeseburger, we all like the penne pasta with vodka sauce. Sunday morning brunches offer chicken and waffles, everyone I know LOVES it! I stick to the pasta dishes, pot stickers, crab cakes, salads and desserts...and everything for brunch, those are our favourites. Drinks - I'm a designated driver so I don't get to try much but they did compliment me with champagne recently and I swear I could have swam in it, it was that good!! My friends enjoy multiple vodka tonics, frozen cosmos (sp?) and other drinks. I stick with Pineapple and Sprite. But I do plan to have a drinking night there and I want to sip at least 6 of my friends fav drinks including something called, "Kick the b*tch to the curb..." ain't that a name? Mercy! Pros: It's exciting and a great place to just let your hair down and dance around with friends in tow. The staff treat you like Royalty because they are Royals and know how to take care of guests. Cons: It's addicitve. Once you start going, it's very difficult to stop. I became so obsessed with the fun I was having there that I ignored the real world and simply went there and no where else...racking up 17+ visits in 6 months (one of those was to Lips NYC). It's so much fun that my friends say "If you want to see her, you'll have to meet up with her at Lips." Best Times To Go: -Saturday Night sells out fast so RSVP at least 2 weeks in advance if you can -Sunday Gospel Brunch is hilarious (some use it as a substitute for worship service, they deliver some real inspiration) -Sunday Night - really nice way to start your week with a swank 'Dinner with the Divas.' -Wednesday's B**** Bingo has prizes and a stellar show featuring Evah Destruction, Monica Van Pelt and Violet Chachki + Angelique D'Paige and more. *I've not been on Thursdays or Fridays yet but Nicole Paige Brooks from RuPaul's Drag Race Season II is there on Fridays from what I understand. So that's worth it not to mention the other extremely beautiful staff members like KatyCakes and Evelyn. Things to remember: You RSVP with a credit card. There is cover charge. There is on site parking (Valet is there often). Bring tip money for the royals, you'll want to once you see them. I could talk about Lips All DAY LONG!! Love it!!! It's where all my out of town guests start their Atlanta holidays/vacations.

2nd Visit and Just as Amazing

By ohrhilly |

I just returned from a friend's birthday. We had an awesome time. My first visit was on a Saturday and I visited last night, which was Friday. Both nights are awesome. The ladies bring it and if you aren't up dancing, then you have a problem. The food was pretty good. For my first visit in December, I had the appetizer platter. It was $17.95 and it was more than filling. Last night, I had the salmon, which was $18.95. The salmon was good, but the rice was just meh. I will most certainly visit again. If you are in Atlanta, you must visit this place.

Hilarious!! Great night out

By Coralys R |

We were here for a bachelorette party. I had not read a lot about the place so was not sure what to expect. It was awesome! We had a great time.

Had A Blast

By Cindy952 |

We had a great time. The place is beautiful, the drinks are tasty and strong, and the food is delicious and very large portions. The entertainment was over the top. The costumes, the talent, the music, the interaction with the crowd. I laughed so much and was so sad when it ended. Great night, thanks ladies, keep up the great work! You all are amazing!!!

Loved it!

By ghostgirl74 |

Best time I have had in a long time! Staff was great. Food was good. Drinks were generous! I loved the show and had an amazing time. I even had to get a t-shirt so I could boast about my experience of visiting this location! This is a must visit place when in Atlanta. Would go again in a heart beat!

If you've never seen a drag show, maybe.....

By Ken E |

If you've never experienced a drag show you might find this place amusing, but I think it's expensive for what it is. The emcee the night I was there was a tired old drag queen that has been performing in Atlanta since Sherman left. I've seen her dozens of times at clubs without a cover- same old shtick. There are 2 sittings in the evening, so shows only run about an hour. The other drag queens were decent and most came around to the tables to chat. The entree I got was a pork chop with what I swear was Kraft macaroni and cheese right out of a box, no vegetables. It was $16.00. Someone in our party told the waitress it was our anniversary and we were ushered on stage to have a photo taken with the drag emcee and we were charged a $10.00 "Celebrity Fee" on our bill. It was over a hundred bucks for parking, cover charge, drinks, tips and "celebrity charge". This seemed like a lot for an average drag show and crappy food. It's too bad, the interior is over the top in good way. This could be a really cool place with a little more polished show and a whole lot of help in the food department.

Best time

By Dioitdude |

So much fun and a safe place for women who want to have a good time. The queens put on the best show. Don’t go if you are a stick in the mud or have prudish hangups. If you enjoy yourself, this is the place

Fun Night Out

By Tricia B |

Definitely worth the time and money. The drinks are not watered down and the food is very good. The performers are a little larger than the ones I’ve seen in Vegas but the performance is high energy and fun.

Ladies night

By Alicia M |

My friends and I needed a ladies night out and Lips showed us a great time. The decor of glitz and glam really made it feel like a fun and upscale place to walk into. The service was great. It was not your average server. She was a performer too! The food was amazing. I had the shrimp scampi and the portions are pretty big. I could not finish my plate even tho I really wanted to keep eating! I've read people say the drinks are expensive but I thought they were a good price, unlike other restaurant you can definetly taste the alcohol here. I will definitely come back! The show they put on is funny and entertaining! Most definetly recommend!

BEST NIGHT EVER

By Kayla B |

My first time here & I had a blast!! EVERYTHING was perfect, we went for Bingo night on a Wednesday & Taejah entertained us the entire night! the performances were amazing the food & drinks were good the customer service was top-tier all around we had a really good night & will be back to to experience a different night

Bachelorette

By Ella O |

The show was good. The food was good ( the whole experience was a little pricey), but our server was not nice at all. When she was on stage performing, we gave her a tip and made fun of us to the rest of the crowd. I don’t think we need top service- I understand they are so busy, But at least be civil and make it a good experience for people

Always a fantastic time!

By ghostgirl74 |

I love Lips!! For my groups, it is a requirment when we visit Atlanta to visit Lips. The food is awesome, but the entertainment is next level amazing. I have so much fun here that it is a gurantee that I will be back. The drinks are generous, the wait staff is the best, and the show is like no other. Between laughing and singing, my face hurts when I leave. Charlie Brown is the best MC around.

The Best time ever!

By Kimberly M |

We all went to celebrate my birthday and had a fantastic time, the service and the entertainment was great.

Time was one thing that didn't DRAG....because was so much fun!

By M M |

We had a blast and plan to go again and again! Everyone is so welcoming and friendly and you can tell they all want you to experience a great time. My husband and I had Nichole (hope spelled her name right) for our table and she was so great on bringing out our great food and drinks. She also does an AMAZING Whitney Houston that had everyone pushing back their seats and dancing. The decor is also fun and everything is so clean. We both shared bites of our meals because we both liked what we had so much. I can't express how much everyone seems to just want to make sure you have a great time. They really went above and beyond.

Fun Place with Terrible Food

By Eve M |

Expect an over the top environment with lively performances by drag queens...some better than others. Why they serve food is beyond me as it was subpar.

A Great Dining Solution for Lifting your Spirits...And the Show was good too!

By AnnKS2013 |

Last week was a difficult one with a death in our family, our Aunt Mary in New Mexico. By Friday, I was in need of a good Atlanta meal and something to lift my spirits. One of my friends suggested Lips for their food and show. We went Sunday, August 4 for their 6:30PM dinner showcase. There was a lively crowd of diners with birthdays, bachelorette parties and anniversaries. Audience participation was an important part of the evening with games, interviews and photo ops. A smile on your face was a consistent occurrence during the evening. The food was excellent, service was delightful and the show was a complete escape from reality. I had RU PAUL, grilled chicken with sun-dried tomatoes, crisp seasonal vegetables and garlic mashed potatoes. One of my friends, who is a Vegan, had EVAH DESTRUCTION- wild mushroom ravioli with pine nuts, broccoli and a pesto cream sauce. Another friend had their MYCHELLE LA CROIX, jumbo shrimp Alfredo with broccoli, sweet red peppers and a creamy Alfredo sauce. It has been said that presentation is essential with food. Their presentation was excellent and the "servers" were either drop dead gorgeous or a witty representation of some of our biggest musical stars. The restaurant is very "chic" and "attractive" and lived up to what it was. A wonderful funny and out of this world place that was fashionable enough for any Diva! Oh, and Thanks Whoopi Goldberg for the hug and photo op. Did I mention our waitress was Whitney Houston?

Good show....Ok food

By my2centsontravel |

I went for a bridal shower and this was my first visit. We were with a large group so we had to eat from a prixe fixed menu. There were about 4 drinks and 4 meals to choose from. I had a chicken breast meal with vegetables and mashed potatoes. The chicken was ok but the veggies were good. The show was very entertaining and the girls were diverse. They dedicated time to birthdays & brides to be and that was cool. It was a good experience overall.

Excellent Birthday Celebration

By wwinny669 |

We had such a great time at Lips Atlanta. The service was excellent. The show was fantastic and the food was great. All of the ladies looked beautiful. The MC Charlie Brown was wonderful. I had the pork chops and they were fantastic. Others in my party had the Salmon and the Chicken Parmigiana. We also had the pupu platter. Great portion sizes. The Kick the Bitch to the Curb was delicious. Overall I had a great birthday celebration and will be going back for the Sunday Gospel Show soon.

Great. Great. Great.

By Dmf52190 |

This place is awesome. So much fun!! We did the 16 and over show for a party of 13. It was well worth it!! High energy. Great good. Short wait for food. Great atmosphere.

Love this place

By aaron |

I have been here twice while on business in Atlanta. Love this place. Drag queens are hilarious and the shows are amazing. Food is surprisingly really good. I expected banquet quality food, I was wrong for sure!! I would recommend coming for the later show on a Friday night if you want to do this on a "weekend" night. We did that show and loved it. Drag queens spent a lot of time interacting with patrons during all shows, and everyone got a chance to tip them. We then came back for a Saturday 9PM show. There were too many people at this time. It was still a great time though. However, many of us didn't get our food till near end of show and after desert. Also, there were way too many birthday people, which took from the drag shows time. It's funny to see a queen rip on a handful of birthday girls, but a long line gets repetitive, boring, and takes from shows. Lastly, due to the amount of people and time constraints there were less drag shows and most patrons got little to no interaction with queens. I will definitely come back for other shows!! I love this place. But, I will not come back on a Saturday night.

Birthday

Fun over the top if you don’t have a sense of humor stay home! Little pricey on food the bunch show is funnier.

Someone stole my money out my bag ! I will get to the bottom of this.

Went to this Sunday brunch, Took pictures on the stage came back to all my money out my bag ! I will get to the bottom of this. I can’t stand a thief.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the ladies at LIPS Atlanta

By somewhereingeorgia |

We had a party of 14 ladies who are qualified foodies in their own right. That, and they are party animals. The show was, as expected, over-the-top, wonderful, entertaining, and raunchy, and everything we came to see. The food was EXCELLENT. Everyone enjoyed their food, and that is saying a lot for foodies. I loved my order of tuna lightly seared, with Asian beans and Jasmine rice. The food serving was huge! My gin and tonic was spot on and had plenty of gin. I highly recommend LIPS Atlanta for anyone who is not easily offended, and likes a great night out. It's good for straight, gay, men, women, married couples, etc. Two things. Show up ON TIME or your food order will be taken when the ladies "get around to it." Also, take earplugs if you have sensitive ears; the ladies of LIPS like to crank up the music and belt out their songs.

Wife and I had an absolutely wonderful time.

By Matthew K |

My wife and I spent a date night here and had one of the more enjoyable nights we have had in a loooong time. I hadn't expected the food to be that good, but it was delicious. The entertainment was even better than we had anticipated. I highly recommend going with a group, bringing lots of $1 and leaving your easily offended friends at home. I promise you will have a blast!

EXCELLENT entertainment, mediocre food.

By Devyl_Gyrl |

The food looks good, but had mediocre flavor. The environment, however, was delightful. Sparkly, fun, loud, obnoxious, rowdy, belly laughing energy. I'd go again for the show, but I'd avoid actually ingesting the food.

Excellent night out

By Veronica A |

There is nothing to say but everything associated with great!!! The food is tasteful and the entertainment is in a class by itself. A must see when you are in the area. I suggest going one day during the week because it is not as crowded. The money you spend is more than the value you receive.

She DID THAT!!!

By lovefouch |

Lips is an amazing drag show. And that is the simplest way to say that you will be entertained by some of the most beautiful drag performers you could ever imagine! To describe the experience here is impossible. Just go. Now.... If you are going for a birthday, bachelorette (or bachelor) party, whatever, let them know. You are treated well and given your own 15 seconds of fame!

Divalish

Most memorable birthday. I had lots of fun. You girls work hard. Amazing and more than I expected. I’m looking forward to my next visit.

Birthday Dinner

By Denyse B |

We had a dinner reservation for 6pp on a Sunday night. It was full. You have to reserve a table otherwise take your chances at having a seat at the bar. The drinks were excellent, you really didn't want or need more than 2 drinks. We were there for friends birthday and had the best time. Surprisingly the food was very good. The mushroom ravioli was my favorite, and the party platter had more than enough food for 2 -3 people. The show itself had me laughing, singing along with the impersonators, and hoping the show would last longer. All and all this was a very good experience.

Awesome!!!! Do yourself a favor and go!!

By Linnie H |

We had an amazing time!! The food and drinks were great, the show was hilariously funny and our Server Katy Cakes was the Best!!!! We will definitely return!!

Best time ever

By tlw911 |

Absolutely enjoy this place. We have been twice and is a must for friends celebrating their birthday. Our server is Michele and does a great job on and off the stage. Can't wait to go back.

Refreshing entertainment

By Twyla M |

First time visiting here-we waited until the same day to make reservations so only the 1130pm show was available. Book in advance. I didn't know what to expect but I laughed and danced at my table during the show. Charlie Brown was hilarious!! $10 cover and $15 min drink/food charge. The only drawback is the entire check including cover is put on one check so we had to divide the check between the 5 of us which was a calculating nightmare if someone uses cash and someone uses credit. Overall, great girls night!

Lots of Fun

By Pbear1947 |

My sister, near Christmas, wanted to do something different. She found this place online. So we called and made a reservation and went. My brother, sister, niece and a friend of mine. Was a bit pricey. Prix fix dinner and entertainments rink free. Also had to use the valet for parking. The food was really good. Drinks pricey. Food & drinks served by the performers. Then they started performing. Food was good. Show was basically a drag show. Would go again.

I had a really good time

By Shines530 |

I went for a friend's bday and had a great time. I love the glitter walls and chandeliers! The show was entertaining as long as you go in with a good attitude and want to be entertained. The only reason I didn't give it an excellent rating is b/c the food is not good at all, but if you go with a group u have to order off the menu and it all has to be on 1 check. Though I understand the reasoning behind this surely there are other ways to handle the check situation and I would STRONGLY advise getting a full time cook if you don't have one. With all that being said, the show was entertaining and fun and I will be back

Great Food and Entertainment!

By 192Mindy07 |

This was a last minute find while on a mini-trip with girlfriends, and we are so glad we did it! We went primarily for the entertainment and were hoping the food would be adequate. Wow - it was more than adequate! Large potion sizes, excellent taste, and very reasonably priced. We were more than satisfied with the meal. And the entertainment was fun, fun, fun! Yes, the emcee could be a little raunchy, but I've heard far worse on a Carnival cruise ship during a comedy show. The entertainers were spot-on with their lip syncing, costuming, and celebrity mannerisms. If you're looking for a fun way to spend an evening with friends and can handle some R-rated language and innuendo, it's a great time!

Lips...Loved it!!!

By Amber B |

We had a girls night out at Lips and the atmosphere was great. We really had a great time and enjoyed the show, espcially Charlie (hilarious)! The service was pretty good; however we would have loved if our waiter/waitress was more outgoing and fun as we had observed from other waiters/waitress but overall it was good. If you are looking for a girls night out and dinner then this is definitely the spot for you. We had a blast and plan on going back within the next few months.

Terrible

By TwoToSkidoo |

Funny how easy it is to spot a set of reviews written by the venue itself to draw in tourists. The line about 'foodies' being impressed by the food was a real whopper. The food is terrible. I have never heard anyone that actually went to this place rave about the food. I ordered the wild mushroom ravioli and was brought a dish with 8 mini-raviolis....about 4 ounces of food...that was cold and bland, and was charged $17. No soup, salad or vegetable with it....just 4 ounces of cold ravioli. Then, they sneak a $7 cover charge onto the bill, and automatically charge a gratuity onto all of this (about $6). Bottom line, I was charged $30 for a cold snack that left me hungry when I left....then, I had to pay a valet to get my car (valet parking is NOT optional.) I was outraged. Save your money and go elsewhere. These people are con artists, and these other reviews on this page are bogus write ups by the restaurant staff trying to lure you in to be swindled just like I was.

Diva on Deck Fun Night Out!

By Diva Meeka |

This was my first time here, but I had heard a lot about it. I didn't order any food because I was told the food was not good, so I ate before going. The drink I had was good…Drag-O-Rita. My friend order the Caesar salad and garlic bread. They were tasty, but really can’t go wrong with those choices. The entertainment was good, the Beyonce impersonator stole the show!!! My favorite, hands down! The waitress looked a bit upset about her tip but we tipped according to the scale, nothing more nothing less. She didn't doing anything extra to get more....

Such a fun night out!

By roropatel27 |

Great entertainment, good food. Definitely recommend for parties or celebrations. Great place for audience to participate.

Good Show. Good Drag Queens. Good Drinks.... but.....

By Channing J |

My hair stylist mentioned there being a new drag/dinner show in town and I knew that I needed to get there. I have been several times and each time has been a different experience. I have done the Friday/Saturday night shows, the Gospel Brunch and Bingo Night. The brunch and bingo were my favorites. Each time has been a really great time. The host and divas are great and they put on a good show. Most of the divas are funny. They will keep you laughing and drunk. The outfits, wigs and makeup are beautiful. You will have a ball. The only reason that I did not give Lips a "5" rating is because of the food and how I've been treated when it's time to pay the bill. The food is inconsistent. Sometimes it's good and sometimes it's bad. I did enjoy the brunch options. The chicken and waffles were really good. However, f you're going to have a $15 food minimum, not including drinks, the food should be better. On the plus side, one of my friends is a vegan and they were able to accommodate her. Now, let's get into how I've been treated when paying the bill. The rules are that you can't use more than 4 cards at the table. This is fine and I understand. No problem. I always tell my friends to bring cash. The tipping is not issue. I consider myself a fair tipper. I always tip 20%. There have been two occasions where our waitress/diva has stood right over my group to make sure that we are tipping. I am talking staring the table down or standing right next to us to intimidate us. On my last visit, my friend tipped 20% and the waitress told her that she owed more for her tip. Excuse me? Mind you, she had also given her lots of cash when she was performing. Awful and rude. Other than that, I enjoy visiting here and having a good time. The decor is nice and its spacious. The tables on the side of the stage is a great spot. Also, the drinks are good and strong. My favorite drag queen is Mychelle LaCroix. Love her. I also love Bubba D Licious and Charlie Brown.

A show to remember!!

By Rodney6419 |

So I was invited to Lips with a few friends. A little apprehensive, but went anyway. Once inside the atmosphere was breath taking..and the decor was amazing.. We had our food cooked to perfection..The Girls put on a great show. The "witty" humor had the entire house laughing with tears.. If you are looking for a change of venue with friends, you will not be disappointed with Lips... The wait staff, Show Girls, and Bartenders were nothing short of Exceptional.. Thank you Lips, I had a sensational night out with friends.

Great show and entertainment!

By Daniel K |

From the beginning the front staff was very friendly and attentive. We were seated promptly at our reservation time. Our waitress was very friendly and service was good. We got a drinks fairly fast and we never had to ask for refills. For the money the food was OK, not bad but nothing special...portion size was good. The show was amazing and the atmosphere in the whole place was electrifying! Overall it was a lot of fun and a good experience.

Amazing Experience

By thatbishrach |

I've been to quite a few drag shows, while I've enjoyed them all, none them compare to my experience at Lips! The food was amazing, the lobster ravioli is to die for! The service was great and the show had me singing along and cracking up the entire time. Tyler is an awesome human and we will for sure be back to visit from St. Louis!

Lips is anything but a drag!

By Jmarksjr1 |

Where the Boys Are women and the women are envious! The staff may be in drag, but Lips is anything but a drag! The food was delicious, the cosmos were vicious, and the entertainment was fit for a Queen.

Great Fun!

By YoungOpa |

Expensive if you think you are only buying dinner, but not bad if you consider the value of the SHOW! Bawdy and loud, perfect for a wild night out, miserable if you want a dinner conversation. Food was mediocre but not bad considering they pushed out 100's of dinners in a short time period. Loved our "waitress" Electra and the Femcee Charlie Brown.

So much fun and good food too!

By yellowlablover |

My first time at a drag show, and I must say I haven't had that much fun in ages! The show is fantastic, and all the entertainers are amazing! We had a party of 6, and were served our meals timely. The food is fabulous! I had salmon, and ended up bringing half of the meal home. Kudo's to their chef! Best time EVER!!

A little zany sprinkled with good fun and not too bad dinner!

By Kendra_A_Hoey |

Lived in Atlanta for over 20 years, never heard of this place. Joined 10 ladies for a birthday celebration at Lips. The drag queens serve you dinner while alternating on the stage for various lip singing performances. Overall, it was just simple -pure fun to watch and laugh along with their take on certain songs. They do spend as much time entertaining us as they do prancing around with their hands out accepting tips but I guess that is just part of the fun. No entrance fee so just look at tips as your fee to watch a unique show. When we went there was an entire table filled with 16/17yr old teens in town from CA for a convention. They laughed it up with rest of us. The MC did a fabulous job at keeping it relatively clean for the crown while still inserting a couple of rate R jokes that were not too bad. Dinner really was pretty good. Not outstanding but not bad either. Overall. I would recommend it as something different to do with your friends. Definitely probably more fun with a group. Go Wednesday night..that is when the same MC works and he(she) worked the crowd very well and had a great style to "her" perfomances.

Could be friendlier

By Bridget P |

Listen, the food is ok, the entertainment is great, but everything in between needs work. Our server never smiled once. Actually 2 of the "entertainers" told off one of the ladies at our table. One of the entertainers was quite abusive actually when my friend at the table was dancing and accidentally hit her in the eye. Our total tab at the table was 329.00. You would think we would have been treated better as we were spending that kind of money. Not sure if it's management or what but someone needs to teach these people about customer service.

Great food, Great Entertainment, Great Fun

By cdb0410 |

We chose Lips for my sister's 40th Birthday. We had a blast, lots of laughs, great food, and wonderful staff. They were very accommodating, extremely friendly, and the service is outstanding. Looking forward to our next outing.

Amazing!

We came to lips for a girls night out. There is a minimum per person but it is beyond worth it! The food was good but nothing special and the drinks were strong!! The decor inside was awesome.....the show was amazing! We will be back!!

Birthday celebration

By Anna F |

This is a fun and beautiful place to have a fun birthday celebration. The entertainment is absolutely great although the food is not that good. If you want a fun night with good entertainment and you don't care much about the food, this is the place to go to.

I didn't want to leave!

By Kelsey O |

My boyfriend and I came, I was so excited and he was dreading it since the day I brought it up, but OH WELL! anyways, the waitress forgot to get our waters which bothered me since I had already finished my appetizer and was in the middle of eating my entree when someone finally brought us water but everyone els was getting there drinks instantly so I guess I just got the luck of the draw haha, the show started about an hour after we were seated but I'm happy we got in! They accommodated when I tried to make a reservation 2 hours prior to the show starting (I didn't know reservations were required) but they got us directly next to the stage! They were all so beautiful and HILARIOUS (and oldish but that made it even funnier) and my boyfriend could not stop laughing the entire time and was very happy I made him go. Definitely recommend

Great night out!!

By NurseMNB |

Lips is a must go! We had so much fun!!! The girls are fantastic and put on a great show! Everyone was so nice and just made the night fun! I’d definitely recommend this to anyone who is looking for something to do. The food was very good and the drinks were not weak!! Overall 10/10 experience!!

Excellent Time!

Great atmosphere, wonderful drinks, good food, wonderful entertainment. My sister and I went here and we had a blast.

Crazy Fun Show!

By Melissa W. |

This was my first experience with a drag show, and it's something I've always wanted to do. I'm so glad Lips Atlanta was my first time, because the bar is set pretty damn high for any after! Everyone was drop dead gorgeous and I loved every performance. We went as a party of 8 for a bachelorette celebration for the 8:45 PM dinner. I was pleasantly surprised the food was really good, the drinks were strong, everyone we met was friendly, and the banter was hilarious. Highly suggest for any event, or just because you need some good fun in your life. Take plenty of dollar bills, or they will also help you make change. My only thing was, I wish their website had a "get-to-know-the-queens" section so I could remember everyone I saw! I do think our host for our event was Taejah Thomas, and you'll be hard-pressed not to fall head over heels in love. I know I did.

So Much Fun!

By Michael M |

This place is so much fun! We went for Sunday brunch and had a great time. Staff is friendly and food is good. We will definitely return and will try one of the weekend or weekday dinner shows. If you go for brunch, go a bit early to enjoy some complimentary mimosas. You can get bottomless mimosas, champagne, and a few other options for $6 at your table. Bring enough cash to tip for those early mimosas and the entertainers (there's an ATM inside if you need).

Gospel Brunch is Fun!

By Lazonia |

A group of 8 of us went to Lips Gospel Brunch today and had a blast. The entertainment is so much fun and the food is good. The prices are super reasonable especially for what you get. $14.95 plus a $5 cover charge which includes one drink. We all had fun and we were a pretty diverse group. It's a little risqué but not vulgar. It would be great for a birthday party, wedding shower, out of town friends or just because. Would definitely recommend.

Great drag show

By A0415 |

The food was great. Charlie Brown and the show was awesome. If your looking for something very different and amazing this is it.

Great show!

By Britt P |

We had a blast! We had some plans to fall through then I ran across this place. We went to the Saturday night show. Everyone agreed to try it out. We had so much fun that we didn't even need an after party anywhere else. I took a lot of videos more than still shots because it was so entertaining. We laughed, ate, drank, and partied. The only thing was the drinks were not strong at all. Me and my friends are lightweights. We had multiple drinks and did not feel a thing.

Best dinner show I've ever seen!!

By Thoracias |

Our party of eleven guests went to Lips for the first time to celebrate my daughter's 21st birthday. The food was delicious and there were many choices. The cocktails were divine and I promise they don't skimp on alcohol! You get your money's worth! But the best part is the drag queen entertainment. Those ladies know how to work a crowd. Charlie Brown steals the show! We laughed until our sides ached and then we danced and sang along. The queens really made the birthday girls and batchelorettes feel special. Memories to last a lifetime! One tip...be prepared to pay for such great food and entertainment. It may seem pricey but it is totally worth every cent!

Fun outing with delicious food

I highly recommend Lips! We went to celebrate remission and girl's family night out. We had such a great time! Our server was friendly and so sweet to my cousin and me about our remission. They made us feel special when they brought us up to the stage. So thankful for that! The food tasted great and it was brought out quickly. We all enjoyed what we ordered and even had leftovers. I had read some reviews, so we knew to have dollar bills for when the performers came around. Make sure you bring lots of 1's or some 5's to tip them. They deserve it! It really was such a great time. We will be back!!

Loved it

This should be a must for people. Good food an drinks. Bartender was amazing and the waitresses are very quick. Was smiling the whole time I was there. Their birthday celebrations are great too.

Birthday gift (Surprise!!!)

And we had lots of fun! On entering I just knew this would be "different experience" so my excitment swelled and then I realised the waitstaff was in drag! Not knowing more than that we waited by the bar (totally unusual for my husband) and he ordered me a Gin & Tonic (also unusual so I knew this was special!) After seating at primo table with privacy, we eagerly waitined while waitresses took everyone's order. It felt like ALL guests were part of our party! The food was delicious and the entertainment was wonderful! Performers were engaging, so we laughed both with them and at ourselves. LOVED IT!!!

Wear your sparkles and leave your ego at the door.

Super fun place with tons of talented and hard working entertainers. Drinks are heavy on the juice/mixer. So that could be addressed. PS If you’re going to celebrate a birthday, the birthday person will more than likely get lightly roasted on stage.

Awful don’t go

By Arianna A |

horrible!!!!! They basically guilted us into a cash tip and then also did an auto gratuity that isn’t required and then refused to take it off they scammed us bad. They are the rudest people ever to try and deal with will never set foot in their again and will tell everyone i can how awful they are

Great fun, surprisingly good food, and you can eat gluten-free.

We had come here last year for the Sunday Gospel Brunch, but my son planned this Saturday dinner for my husband's birthday. This place is great fun and there are generally a lot of birthday groups and bachelorette parties. We sat between two bachelorette parties and they were entertainment inn themselves. The food is unexpectedly good for this type of venue - I had a pork chop with a Caesar salad and mac and cheese and it was excellent, even the pork chop which can be tough or dry often. No problem for our celiac guys who needed gluten-free meals. Highlight was my husband (who is about the same age as hostess Charlie Brown) onstage. He was the only guy and old bald guys are always popular at these things.

Sunday Gospel Brunch

By PYT1984 |

Went last week while in town for their drag brunch in a church setting. Definitely make reservations in advance as they fill up quick. This was a very good time. All types of parties there from young and old birthdays, bachelorette party to girls and guys Sunday funday. We arrived late and they actually sat my group in VIP which was very nice and accommodating. They offer unlimited mimosas which were good and the food is pretty good and decently priced. I had the penne a la vodka which was filling, but could use a little more seasoning tho. The shrimp and grits was good I heard as well. The hosts were hilarious with the jokes as we ate and drank and thy put on Sunday service singing impersonations- even a Whoopi Sister Act performance which was funny. It’s 16 years old and over so no little kids obviously, but as long as you are open and can take a joke, this will be fun for you. Table service was great as well.

Mommy Night Out!

Went out on a mommy night out and had the best night ever! Everyone there was super nice, food was amazing and the mixed drinks were on point and of course the show was worth everthing! Love everything about this place! We will be coming back!

Celebration!

WOW! My best friend to me to Lips to celebrate my birthday and it was a blast! The food was good and the performers were awesome! This is a great place to celebrate any occasion (birthday, bachelorette party, divorce party, etc). They have different themes during the week (Broadway Wednesday). I will definitely be coming back for another great time!

I really wanted to LOVE this place

By JCW77 |

I am no stranger to drag shows so my expectations were high especially since this is Atlanta. Let's start with what I liked, the service was great. I loved that our server was personable and accommodating to our group. What I did not like is the $10.00 service charge and the valet parking (complimentary), it was not enough valet people to service the long lines of people trying to get into the 6:00pm show. In addition, I did not like the fact that they charged you $10.00 on top of your meal and gratuity. If you want to charge for your shows then do that and charge $10.00 upfront as you come into the restaurant rather than to slap it onto the bill. Attaching, a service charge not only increases taxes but it also increases the amount the gratuity you pay. The performances were mediocre at best, I am use to drag shows where they actually perform! Every single performer left the stage to walk around to each table to get tips, spending about 90% of the time walking from table to table in which I felt took away from the performances. It was nothing special about the performances, more so if one like one song over the other then you got more of audience participation. In addition, the menu is very simple and everything is 24.99, I had the chicken Parmesan. The chicken Parmesan was adequate but no stars or stripes here. Lastly, I think the setup of the tables make it a little challenging to maneuver through the restaurant, they have you packed in. A change in setup will not hurt here, maybe situate large parties here and there or use smaller table. Overall, it is a fun time for bridal showers, birthdays, or simple a girl’s night out; however, I expected very much more. I think process improvement is definitely needed and hopefully someone will value my feedback.

Attended the Gospel Brunch and loved it. The entertainment was spectacular. All of the ladies were both beautiful and talented. The service was without fault and the food was delicious. Food and fun all together.

Sunday Brunch

By Sarah C |

Do arrive early...people que out front and then are invited in and you provide your name. For the brunch you receive a mimosa. Eventually they seat you all and your server (who is also in the show) comes and takes drink orders. This particular day - they didn't have enough champagne to do mimosas or champagne unlimited consumption. They ran out of bottles! Staff just seemed very overwhelmed and the venue was not sold out. We ordered food from a limited menu and we all were pleased. Food came before our cocktails. The show stated late and then ran over so we never even saw our server do her performance. Its a one time experience, go for the fun but not worth all the hype.

BIRTHDAY BASH WAS A SMASH!!!

By KEECHAS |

I had sooooooooooooo much fun....it was a drag! Pun intended! Super entertainment! The performers were AWESOME!!! The Beyonce impersonator stole the show!!! My Fav, hands down! The hostess was a riot! The food was better than expected. The drinks were super yummy, especially the "Kick A B-tch to The Curb". I even had the opportunity to go on stage TWICE! My only complaint is that I wish we could have had separate checks and no contracts/down payment! Will definitely make plans for future celebrations there!

Gospel Brunch

We had such a fun time at Lips for their Sunday Gospel Brunch! We made reservations, which I recommend doing, as the place got pretty full. We got complimentary mimosas and you had the option to get unlimited for $6. The seating/ordering process was a little slow but our waitress was great. I had the eggs benedict and was overall happy with the meal. The drag queens were really funny and great performers. Since it is the Sunday Gospel Brunch, I'd suggest you skip this show if you're easily offended, but if you've got a sense of humor, I definitely recommend! The queens were so nice and willing to take pictures with you, if you asked for one. The decor was fun and kitschy. I do have a little complaint about the seating. We sat at a long table, family-style, in the center of the restaurant but this angle sometimes made it difficult to get a good view of the stage. Luckily, the queens left the stage frequently to interact with the audience. I would definitely like to try one of their dinner shows next! Just an all around fun time!
