Nice Mediterranean restaurant in Wynwood

By WorldwideThree |

We had a very enjoyable meal at Lira. First off, the Service is excellent...really, it is excellent. Competent, friendly and efficient. Secondly, the food is very good. Their homemade beet-hummus is amazing, the Lamb chops were cooked perfectly, and the grilled vegetable skewers were delicious. The restaurant itself is very pleasant, with both inside and patio dining.

Unparalleled quality, food tastes like straight form heaven

Magic place. Food is to die for. do yourself a favor and give your palate the beer experience of its life. Service is kind, fast and attentive. Honestly I can say that there are very few places in the world that have this standard of quality and consistency. They deserve more than 5 stars

Good but I’ve had better

By made1024 |

Had been wanting to visit this place for a while and finally made it to wynwood. The place is nice and cute, service was good, food was good, but it was pricey for the portion sizes. I ordered kibbeh nayeh which was not on the menu and unfortunately I did not ask the price. When I got the check a whooping $45!!! That’s more than a filet mug on at a good steak house. In addition they charged me for tap water, which is ridiculous. The fried kibbeh order has 3 pieces but they are tiny not even small. The hummus was good as was the kibbeh nayeh but not something I would come back for. I’ve had Lebanese food in many places around Miami which I consider better and way less expensive. Won’t be back but I never discourage anyone from trying it out for themselves.

Miami Gem

By Brandy C |

I'll start by saying this wonderful Lebanese restaurant is comparable with other top Mediterranean and Middle Eastern restaurants in Miami. We went for lunch on a Saturday. Even though we made reservations for noon, they weren't busy when we arrived. By the time we left, more than half the tables were taken. The food is delicious and well-made. The menu has a variety of options, and we felt the prices were fair. We had cold mezze, hot mezze, something from the grill, and dessert. The colors, designs, and decor are inspired by Lebanon. The friendly owner and staff are proud of what they have. We felt welcomed and cannot wait to return to try more dishes.

worth a trip

Everything at this restaurant was excellent. Our waitress was attentive, informative and knowledgeable. The food quality and selection was great and it all tasted wonderful. We had a variety of delicious hot and cold mezze dishes. I especially enjoyed the Shankleesh, which is a very of mine from when I lived in Dubai.

Good Clean Food..BUT no one from Lebanon Cooking for you 🤣

Food is good, service is good. Cuisine is in general Mediterranean, when we asked who is from Lebanon. They said no one is. Andres are in the $40 range and they’re huge one entrée and a side was plenty for the two of us.

Never Disappoints — Always Deliciousp

This place never disappoints — consistently great every time. We had a whole spread of appetizers (no pics because we devoured everything the second it hit the table). Great food, nice vibe, and overall an amazing experience with fresh, authentic Lebanese cuisine.

I've always loved middle eastern food, but had never eaten Lebanese. It is utterly fantastic! We ate in a wonderful outdoor space and I felt like I had been teleported to Beirut and was being fed amazing, interesting, delicious delicasies and dishes. We came for a birthday party and it was so much fun sharing lots of different dishes, each one a culinery delight. Everything is made from scratch with all natural ingredients, seasoned perfectly. You can tell that so much care has been taken with everything. Can't wait to come back!

Best authentic Lebanese in miami

By Nadine A |

The most satisfying meal one can have. Finally an authentic Lebanese restaurant in miami. Everything we ordered was heavenly and fresh - my parents are usually very particular and picky about lebanese food, yet they loved every bite. Highly recommend : - Shawarma platter when available (generous and tasty) - hummus - Soujouk - Fattoush - Cheese rolls - perfectly crisp and not oily - Knefeh dessert

Hidden Gem In Wynwood

By Michael JP |

Walking in to Lira from the street, you enter into a beautiful hidden gem. We sat in outside in the garden with beautiful lighting and lush greenery. The waitstaff and management were terrific and attentive. The food was amazing! We tried almost everything on the menu and you eat family style which I love. Great for family & friends! One of the best appetizers on the menu is the beet hummus. Simple and just a touch of beet which gives such an interesting twist to the hummus. We tried these bread twists, similar to a spring roll crust filled with a variety of cheese. Amazing! A Lebanese version of a mozzarella stick. The octopus was tender and delicious. The lamb kofta was juicy and flavorful. Chicken &filet mignon kebabs were also amazing. I suggest ordering the filet medium rare. The Fattoush salad was amazing, just the right amount of pomegranate juice/syrup in the dressing. The tabbouleh salad was also amazing and refreshing with some pita. We ordered these little sausages, I assume it was lamb that where bursting with flavor. Have no idea what the name was. The Bronzino was one of the best I have had. Ask for extra lemon and olive oil to put on top. My suggestion would be to order the appetizers first and enjoy them before ordering the entree's. The food comes out quickly, so you want some time in-between courses to digest and enjoy the ambiance. For a restaurant that just opened, I have to give 2 thumbs up and my compliments to the amazing Chef. We will be back for sure!
