Alma was an amazing server - professional, efficient, very personable and made breakfast very pleasant. Food was well prepared and served promptly.

Came for lunch on a Saturday. Was able to get in easy. Had empanadas, street corn and steak tacos. Great service and food.

Fantastic experience from start to finish. Food was delicious, atmosphere was great! Chef Ricky did an awesome job explaining everything in detail and our server was very attentive. Definitely would be back.

This is the best restaurant that I have been to in Chicago so far. The service was amazing and the food was excellent (especially the salmon). I will definitely be coming back!

I was downtown, with my friends. She had made dinner reservations for the 3 of us for 7pm. We sat indoors and was served water right away. Our server NEVER introduced himself to us. Once he brought my friends their drinks, he disappeared. Then we saw him working as the bartender! He did not take out food order until after 8pm. When he did finally bring us our food, he brought out one plate at a time🤦🏽♀️ All of our food was cold (my best friend and I had the steak tacos and her friend had chicken nachos. While everyone is working with a short staff, I was quite surprised at the service here. Being in one of the newest hotels in Chicago, and it being a busy day (fireworks Wednesday), I would have thought that they would have at least tried to staff appropriately. For what we paid for dinner and drinks, I am very doubtful I will return. However, I do hope they learn from their mistakes and work on getting staffing up to par.

Great before theater dining. We had appetizers, which were more than enough and all good. Recommend the Papas Bravas, Brussels sprouts and the beet and house salad. We had to get to go boxes!

Alma was an amazing hostess. Her service was on point. My meals were served on hot and promptly. I will visit definitely again.

Luis was such a friendly bartender who really made my day. From his friendly small talk, to all his great drink recommendations, he really made my trip to Chicago end on a great note. Additionally, Jeo, my server, had such a positive vibe and great attitude that really ended my night on the best note possibly! Great job guys!!! I’ll definitely come back to visit again!!!

Great pancakes and eggs Benedict. The whipped mascarpone is to die for. Good ambience and nice views. Waiters were attentive and polite.

Had an amazing experience at this restaurant! The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, making it the perfect spot for a relaxing meal. The food was absolutely delicious – every dish was prepared with fresh ingredients and bursting with flavor. A special shout-out to our server, Clarissa, who went above and beyond to make our dining experience memorable. They were friendly, attentive, and offered great recommendations. The overall service was top-notch, and I can't wait to return. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a great meal and outstanding service!

Alma was the greatest waitress she did an excellent job serving my sister and I enjoyed her talking with her she explained the menu. Her personality was ten plus. She told us about the pier.

Alma was fantastic. The service was stellar. She catered to all my allergies and gastronomic needs. I would highly recommend Lírica at the Sable hotel at Navy Pier.

Bartender was friendly and knowledgeable of the city. Excellent experience! Very friendly staff altogether. Low pressure and relaxing.

I was taking care of by Alma and even though it was a busy day, she brought so much energy and kindness. The food was exquisite and the service was top-notch.

We stopped here to have a drink while visiting the Light up the Lake exhibit. Nahum and Joe behind the bar not only are friendly and offer great service, but they are very knowledgeable. I didn’t try the food, but it looked great. I would definitely recommend stopping by for a cocktail and enjoying the views of the lake. I recommend the Oaxican Old Fashioned. It will definitely warm you up on those windy nights!

Our service person Alma was wonderful !!! Pleasant and remembered our Bloody Mary when she could serve it !!! Great rep for the restaurant!!

Ate here for a breakfast and a dinner. Food was good. Menu is a bit small. Ate breakfast inside but dinner outside. Weather was perfect. Big boat does block view of lake but you can people watch. Party ordered steak tacos and a pizza and normal breakfast items. Staff was kind and professional. No complaints.

I had the opportunity to stay at the Sable in Chicago last week and was delighted to find that the food at the restaurant was superb. I love tuna and the Ahi appetizer was great. The skirt steak is very tasty and the short rib is unbelievable.

Great Service/Good Food. Beautiful views of the boats, skyline and Navy Pier. I truly enjoyed visiting the this restaurant.

I have never been treated so terribly by a server. We made reservations ahead and were seated and handed breakfast menus. We came in just about before the end of the breakfast period. Just as my table had geared up and decided what we would all like to eat our server came over and took the breakfast menus from us and replaced them with lunch ones declaring we were no longer able to order breakfast. Confused but not wanting to make a big deal out of things we all picked different items from the menu after the estranged interaction. One of my friends has severe dietary restrictions, so we asked our server if we could have a single bagel off the breakfast menu (an item that did not need to be cooked and barely needed preparation to be served). Our server said the kitchen staff refused (???) because it was no longer breakfast (even though breakfast just ended minutes earlier). We placed our orders still not wanting to make a big deal out of things. One of my friends ordered a plain churro at the end of our meal. When it came, it had chocolate sauce on it. We kindly pointed out to our server that we order the churro plain. Instead of just replacing the item as most restaurants do without any hassle our server snaped at us and yelled that "that is how we ordered it". Honestly such a terrible experience and would not ever come back.

Terrible service. Well, none really. Stood at host stand for 20 minutes. No one. Finally a bidder sat us (group of 10). Again no one after 10 minutes. We left. What a tourist trap of a place. The hotel was not friendly or hospitable/ no greeting at all.

I’ve eaten here twice while staying in the Sable by Hilton. (Great hotel for a tourist by the way!) First night I ordered burger and drinks for outside. Ordering made me feel unwelcome. The staff make eye contact and then serve the American before we got served. Said they will bring our food and drinks out to the patio. After ten minutes another guest told us our drink is unattended at the bar. When a waiter came out with my burger he asked if it’s mine, I looked at the barman I ordered it from with the look - is this mine? He pulled up his shoulder and shook his head and turned away. Passive aggressive on a level I have not experienced before The next day, for breakfast I came down and asked for a table for one. They seated me at the first high chair seating, right by the entrance. Possibly the worst seat in the house. This while there were only 5 other groups in the restaurant The burger and breakfast tasted nice. Drinks were good. Setting is obviously perfect for seeing the world go by. And great to have the bonus of the fire works But this place is being sabotaged by passive aggressive staff that is hell bent on making one feel uncomfortable. I suppose being in the hot spot for tourists, they can afford to be. But they succeeded in making this tourist feel very unwelcome

Seeing negative reviews, I was nervous, but the hostess was pleasant, water was instantly served, and waitress Breann prompt and friendly. Menu not large, but good variety with a latin influence. Lirica salad in my top five all time, Brussels sprouts delicious; ten bucks and i have a ton of leftovers which I saved. My wife's chicken sandwich delicous as was my burger; neither of us could finish and left behind a mountain of very good fries. For a hotel restaurant this was a find. Not cheap, but being from the NYC area, to us, the prices were not unreasonable. In fact, the burger was only five bucks more than at the Red Robin we ate at the night before!

Good Lord! This was a revelation. This is a restaurant in a hotel… I expected it to be a typical, overpriced, after thought. Chef Ricky shocked and amazed me. His attention to flavor, texture and presentation were amazing. My meal was a deeply thought out balance. This was no afterthought. This wasn’t a combination of bottom line influence ingredients. This was an experience. My server was Roger and as a man eating alone, Roger was only as attentive as was required…but when he was on, he was making things happen. Great place!

We were there for a new years eve, we had booked in advance, they didnt gave us the table that we booked, and we didnt even get the chance to try the food as we were told we could simply leave because we wanted to try the a la carte instead of set menu, since we were seated on a high table ,instead the one we had booked weeks ago.The manager told us we have to order from set menu or leave, we agreed to order, however he wouldnt shut his mouth so he didnt even heard what i said, started to argue and again told us we are free to leave. The whole team had attitude ,no customer service skills, no hospitality skills, he was arguing with me like hes in his house, not at work, rude beyond understanding, Zero managerial skills, total DISASTER!

Great food! Pancakes were delicious! Would come back for the mascarpone! The chef was very sweet and personally came and spoke to us!

My wife and I are traditional diners. Meat and potatoes. More fish, less meat. But ever since some friends served paella and empanadas for a dinner party we have been fascinated by Latin cooking. So we couldn't resist having dinner at Lirica, one of the finest restaurants on Navy Pier in Chicago. Located at 900 East Grand Avenue, in the spiffy Sable Hotel, Lirica is a Latin and Iberian inspired restaurant that specializes in small plates and shareables. Open from 7 a.m. to 9 p.m. Sunday through Thursday and 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, it serves breakfast, brunch, lunch and dinner and features an outdoor lakefront terrace, expansive bar, modern open kitchen and sweeping views of Lake Michigan. If you are anxious to beat the traffic, you might enjoy a plentiful breakfast that includes a buffet of eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurt, pastries and toast or a burrito with steak, eggs, potatoes, avocado, queso fresco and tomatillo salsa. On this occasion, we chose dinner. The menu includes beef Wellington, baked mac and cheese, wood fried pork chop. grilled salmon, grilled jumbo shrimp, grilled chicken and a short rib burger. We were anxious to sample the Valencia Paella and empanadas. We started with a Lirica salad with Romaine lettuce, tomato, avocado and sweet corn and delicious bacon-wrapped dates. For our entree, we had paella. It is a Spanish dish of saffron-flavored rice cooked with meats, seafood and vegetables. A secret ingredient is sofrito, a flavorful mixture of onions, garlic, tomatoes and peppers. Most paella recipes include prawn heads, parsley, rice, saffron and cooking juices from mussels. Lirica's version includes saffron brown rice, shrimp, calamari, clams, chorizo, roasted chicken and charred lemon. Then we had beef and banana empanadas. The banana was very delicious with nutella, banana chips and vanilla ice cream. An empanada is a crescent-shaped, savory pastry made of dough and filled with a variety of ingredients--ground or shredded beef, chicken, pork, cheese or vegetables. A visit to Lirica is more than a meal, it's a special event.

This restaurant opened during the height of COVID and is currently, in my opinion, the only "real" restaurant on Navy Pier proper. There has been talk for two years that Art Smith is opening a restaurant in the old Buba Gump space, but, to date, nothing has happened. This restaurant received glowing reviews from the Tribune when it opened. Not certain if the restaurant or staff knew they were reviewers but they clearly ate in an alternate universe from what we experienced! The entire restaurant is extremely noisy and badly laid out. I had requested a booth when making the reservation, but was given a two top near the bar instead. I could have forgiven them this, but what followed was a series of events that shows this restaurant is badly run. Our table got watered immediately, but no serer approached for 24 minutes. After we did order, it took almost another 20 minutes to receive chips and over an hour to get entrees, forcing us to rush to finish our meal and get to Chicago Shakespeare. For the food --- Lirica salad was acceptable but rather flat -- noticeably lacking flavor in the dressing. My guest's strip steak was nicely seasoned but full of fat and gristle. My paella was not a paella at all; it was rice with seafood (big difference) It arrived in a bowl (wrong vessel for a paella), and was overly greasy. The manager appeared to be aware that our food orders took ridiculously long as the server mentioned he had talked to the manager about the delay, but the manager never bothered to personally check with us. This restaurant fails in so many areas of proper restaurant management. Probably the only thing that will keep them going is that they are the only game in town at Navy Pier. We won't be back, however.

Great choices, excellent quality and really exceptional service. Our server Alma really cares and makes you feel like family.

Not easy to find if you try an app. It’s near the tip the Navy Pier. Views are limited from indoors. Nice and modern ambience, though it’s part of a hotel and that shows. Pleasant staff. Iced tea was bad, other drinks including water fine. Food was very good overall..it was somewhat pricey, but not egregious. Some issues were minor, like they changed the plates but not the used silverware after appetizers. But they also added an 18% gratuity and did not announce it on the final bill. I would have paid more if left for me, but this way I will not, and not printing this out on the credit card slip is bordering shady: there goes a second star off.

I love it here! The customer service is beyond great! The food is great! The view is beautiful! I will definitely be coming back soon! The people are fantastic!

The food is absolutely delicious! My sever was attentive and if I had an issue he resolved it right away. I came in with a frown and Roger definitely turned it upside down!!! I will definitely be back next time I'm in the Chicago area. Thank you to the team at Lirica for helping me tohave a memorable birthday!

Nice plates to share and cocktails to have before the theater. Brussel sprouts, the roasted peppers, jambon, macaroni & cheese, shrimp, bacon wrapped dates were delicious. New restaurant with windows over the lake and right next to the new hotel. Extra bonus is the 20% off for Shakespeare theater ticket holders which was better for us than the theater menu prixe-fix. Always remember to tip on the full amount before discount for the servers!

Bad margaritas and flavorless food. Best part was bouncer graciously helping inebriated homeless man to his feet Maybe too early for this new restaurant

Lirica at the Sable hotel on Navy Pier is an adorable spot with great views. As a hotel guest, the convenience is unbeatable with the added bonus of a bar that serves up a really good old fashioned. The ambiance is a balance between current contemporary trends and being traditional, perfect for the Navy Pier. It’s decorated with Spanish and Caribbean vibes. I sat at the bar and had a drink. I didn’t try the food. The next morning, the breakfast buffet was plentiful and had many options like avocado toast, eggs, sausage, bacon, yogurts and pastries.

Experienced terrific service for a group of 9 people. Lirica's team was accommodating and prompt - and you can't beat the skyline view! Looking forward to going back for a date night.

We had an amazing experience! Went for my mom’s 60th birthday and Alma was nothing but kind to us! She walked extra for us to sit near windows for a lake view. She was the best! Highly recommend asking for her when you come to visit!

We chose this restaurant because we were staying at the Sable. Service was not what we expected from this type of venue. Waiter was not very knowledgeable or attentive. 2nd round of drinks we had with dinner came near the end of our meal. Food was mediocre at best. We were there at 7pm and was not very busy and they had already “ran out” of the New York strip and substituted it with a flank steak at the same price! Unacceptable! The seafood paella was dry and the mussels were over cooked . I can honestly say that my paella is much better. For what we paid for the evening, we should’ve went downtown! Very disappointed.

My husband and I went in for drinks and ended up staying for dinner! Friendly staff great cocktails.

We stayed at the Sable Hotel that this restaurant is a part of. We had dinner, breakfast, and drinks at the bar over three days. The meals were great as were the drinks. The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We will definitely go back next time we're in town.

Had lunch at Lirica, and while it wasn’t a bad experience, it was not super. The menu is limited, and the food is just ok. Overall, not much effort has been put into this restaurant. Better to go to the Navy Pier food court with all its options and spend a lot less.

After a wonderful stay at the Pier I had breakfast at the Lirica. It was a wonderful experience and the food was incredible! I was waiting for an Uber to take me to another hotel and during that time, I met a woman named Clarissa who went above and beyond to help me get my take away food in time for the Uber to pick me. She made sure that I had all of the seasonings and all of the spices for my breakfast to go, and most importantly she made me feel very welcome and greeted me with a smile and the best hospitality I have had in a restaurant.

We went on a Sunday afternoon, it was empty and it took forever to get our food and drinks. I tried to flag down our waiter and he pretended not to see me. Had to get up to find someone. The food is ok. It's not worth the hefty price. Entrees are very small. You're paying for the view. You can go somewhere else for food and drinks and then walk on the Pier for free. Not worth it. Skip this place.

I ate at this restaurant twice while my daughter was playing volleyball here at navy pier. Unlike so many places downtown, this restaurant was reasonably priced. But more impressive was the wait staff. Breann went out of her way -- and so did the kitchen. So kind, conscientious and accommodating. In a time where AI can communicate better than most of us, it's wonderful to receive that smile and warmth. Kudos to a place that due to location, would get business regardless.

This is a very good stop when walking on the Navy pier to refresh yourselves with a variety of food choices, nonalcoholic beverages or cocktails and beer. For Nachos and guacamole, bowl of soup with salad, a margarita and sangria the cost with tax included is $85.54 for 2 people.

Chef Ricky and Antinori wines dinner was a night to remember ! Amazing food from the crostini to the short ribs to the pistachio and strawberry cake! Delicious and the Antinori wine paring was delicious!!!

Alma was by far the best server we ever had. The food was excellent and the atmosphere amazing. Will return for sure. Ask for Alma she made the experience great

I was in Chicago for an agriculture conference and dined at Lirica for the second time. We went to Lirica for dinner at our final meetings and overall it was a great experience/atmosphere. Favourite dishes were the half chicken and the shrimp pasta. Service was efficient and very hospitable. It is located in the Navy Pier. The first time I went to Lirica was in Feburary and it was not a good experience. After this latest visit it was fantastic time and all of my colleagues had a good time as well. Look forward to going back when I'm back in Chicago next time.

Roger was amazing. Funny, genuine and accommodating. Knows the menu up and down. Go see him! Thanks for a great experience, Roger and staff.

Two couples went here for late breakfast on a weekday. The "hot buffet" is mediocre, the "cold (also called continental) buffet" is mediocre, the a la carte menu has very few choices. We ordered dishes from the a la cart menu and requested to order a pastry from the cold buffet (because pastries were not offered on the a la carte menu). We were told that if we want a pastry they will have to charge us for the whole buffet. This is about as ungracious and stupid as I have seen in a long time in a restaurant. They also add an 18% gratuity to the check automatically and without advance notice. You need to look closely at the bill to see this because they also have a tip line in the credit charge receipt and one could easily end up tipping twice.

We dined in Lirica twice for breakfast on our recent stay in the city and then once for drinks. Both breakfast meals were great. The bananas foster French toast was a hit out of the park. The Spanish omelette was wonderful although more American than Spanish style. Our server on day one was uninspired, never gave us his name, it was Mitch, we found it on the receipt, and only checked on us once during the meal. Day two was a little better and the young woman was attentive but obviously overworked. Another petty gripe was that they never checked off our OpenTable reservation so I actually got a message from OpenTable that we missed a reservation, please don't do it again. Kind of a bad omen that they aren't attentive enough to check off a reservation when a customer is nice enough to make one.

This place was horrible. The service was non-existent and the food was mediocre for the price. We sat for 1hr and 45 min and did not get to finish dinner because we ran late for the theater. The waitress was so overwhelmed that she never came by the tables in her section more than once. It seemed as though it was her first time. She couldn't remember who had what drink, meal, etc. 3 tables including us walked out before finishing our dinner. The food was ok but certainly not worth the price or the poor service. We did a $50 price fixe option. The salad was good but my steak was a small carne asada that was on par with Pepe's at 2x the price. Needless to say, we will never return with so many other options in the area.

Dont’ go. The food is mediocre, but the prices are not. The location is great and that is the draw to this restaurant., but a boat sits directly in front blocking any real view of the lake. We paid $22/person for a Sunday brunch Buffett and another $6 for coffe and juice. The portions were very small portions, tasteless and worse than what you could at home. I should have asked for credit on my bill, because we barely at any of the small portion that was served. I felt like I gave my money away. Don’t give your money away. https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g35805-d23226181-r789689448-Lirica-Chicago_Illinois.html#

Alma, thanks for everything 😊. The service was amazing. Breakfast was beautiful and delicious. My sister love the special birthday cake for her upcoming birthday.

Had not been until visiting before theater. Had a great experience in new restaurant off of the hotel lobby. Nice to have an elevated option at the pier.

We arrived at the booked time, we were given a table outside, and waited, and waited, in the end my husband went inside to get our drinks from the bar. Finally halfway through our drinks the one waitress arrived took our order. 20 minutes later everything arrived, the starter of oysters and calamari, which incidentally was very good. The main course on the same tray. We explained that we could not eat it all at once, he took it away and put it under the hot lamp, i could see it. When we had finished the starter they brought back the main course…we were just thinking we would have to go and get our own drinks again when finally a lady came over. They seemed to be in chaos. Who brings a main course and a appetiser together? The food was good. But so frustrating what should have been a relaxed experience was disorganised and disappointing. And it was not cheap at all. I hope the restaurant management read this review and appreciate the simple things to improve, just acknowledgement, or explanation that service will be slow or non existent. The only thing they were quick with was bringing the cheque at the end.

We loved everything about this hotel. The views from our rooms were amazing but the staff really impressed. Alma went above and beyond to make my grandson’s birthday special. She was always smiling and took excellent care of us.

Very limited menu for breakfast, but still pretty good! Ample portions. But the welcoming customer service is certainly lacking! Employees seemed very qualified to DO their jobs, they just didnt seem happy in executing it!

Quite a restaurant hit, the best attention from the staff, among them Alma, a very attentive and helpful person, thank you very much and we will see you soon.

Cool vibe, good food, and great service, The menu is intentional with the offerings and is not overwhelming. Love the shareable plates and plaintain foster.

Located at the end of Navy Pier, the restaurant has nice views of the lake. Food was good and service was very nice.

Awesome food. Our server was Alma and she is fantastic! Took great care of us and made our breakfast an awesome experience !! I’ll come back again for sure!!

Recently, my two daughters and I looked forward to a fine, if probably pricey, meal at the Lirica Spanish Restaurant on the Navy Pier in Chicago, before attending a performance of the Chicago Shakespeare Theatre nearby. Turns out, we were right about the latter, but wrong about the former. As expected, prices were steep. Our two appetizers included 1) their $16 version of papas bravas – little more than a plate of chopped baked “Yukon” potato pieces with a little melted cheese, parsley and seasonings, and 2) four small bacon-wrapped dates, manchego cheese and nuts - for $14. Main entrees: 1) for $18, we had a plate of glorified pasta (aglio e olio), but, in order to get any protein with that, you had to order something like the (small) piece of salmon we added – for an additional $12 charge. 2) One daughter ordered a very ho-hummy “Steakburger” (hamburger) for $25, and 3) my “Catch of the day,” for $38, turned out to be nothing more than three smallish skewers, each containing one scallop, one shrimp and one piece of potato (more potatoes!) -- no side dishes, vegetables, etc., included. The “Spanish Mango Custard” for dessert turned out to be the best thing we ordered (for $14). Ironically, we were unable to finish it because we were caught short on time as the Shakespeare performance loomed too quickly and we had to hurry out! So, after adding in the one glass of wine I had and a $30 tip, the three of us ate for a grand total of $198. We all agreed afterwards that it was not worth it. The pasta was dry, tasteless and uninteresting, as was my seafood dish. I guess the “steakburger” was a little better, but hardly exonerated the meal from criticism. Add to this that our waitress inexplicably disappeared for a long stretch, nowhere to be seen; that there was a wandering hostess with apparently nothing more to do than smile and try to take half-finished plates away, against patron wishes!; and, to top it all off, when the coffee came with dessert, it was stone cold! In retrospect, I saw that the Lirica had only a 3.0 out of 5.0 rating, and now I suspect why. They cater to the theatre crowd who come sight-unseen, as we did, assuming something as quality as the Shakespeare troop would likely have an equally quality restaurant nearby. It ain't necessarily so, bro'. Hard lesson to learn for $200 – so be sure to check the online ratings before you go -- anywhere!

From the first day we were attended by Alma, great professional, very attentive with every request, has brought us to be at home

Alma was an amazing waitress; so sweet and attentive. She made our experience very enjoyable and the food was excellent!

Gabby our waitress was amazing! But I would be remiss if I didn’t mention Clarissa, the hostess, who made an amazing meal, unforgettable.

Roger was our server and had the best recommendations. We enjoyed the Ricardo with grapes appetizer, followed by the incredible beef dish, which is very similar to beef Wellington. I would give it. A 10 out of 10!!!

Food was good but I was the Server Alma was the greatest part of the entire experience. She was very attentive and showed great eagerness to make sure our food was up to standard. I will definitely come back if she is working. Thank you Alma!!!

For the last three months Alma has been a welcome sight in the mornings. Very friendly, attentive and accommadating. The rest of the staff have been "on it" every time, every day. Thanks Lirica Team!

Terrible service, waiter 20 minutes at our to be served, gave up and ordered a drink at the bar, then 5 minutes later the waiter shows up and moves us to a different area because we didn't wait for him to show up. Manager just stood there and watched... Will never visit here again. Disgraceful.

Brought my wife here for our after Christmas getaway. We came to see Luis, who is the best bartender in this restaurant. Would much rather spend our $$at Lirica with Luis than at somewhere else!!

I work at Navy Pier and often done here for lunch. I was excited to bring my family here for the excellent food and service ive grown to expect at Lirica. Our server Alma was attentive and knowledgeable. She answered all our questions. Her recommendations were spot on and the pacing our lunch was perfect.

I stayed at the sable hotel and ate at the Lyrica restaurant, delicious food. Alma was very kind, attentive and a great server ! Definitely will come back here!

Alma did amazing, I really enjoyed how we were treated. We also had dinner here and it was great! Now I had breakfast, delicious breakfast and fresh. Good job! Everything was excellent.

We were celebrating my son’s 15th birthday and our server Alma made the day incredible! Service was impeccable, food delicious, and Alma made our experience a special family memory. We went back to see Alma for breakfast the next day! She’s a gem!

Excellent service, very good menu... reasonable prices... the view and the atmosphere very good... Jesus, Maynor and Sergio great hosts... Crostinis, empanadas, sucker, strawberries and bananas flamed, delicious!!!

Thought the Hilton Curio brand would have a more upscale restaurant. Lirica is for tourists, one time visitors only. It's a tapas restaurant, but there's no difference between appetizer and entree portions. Ceviche entree was one slab of whitefish with chilis and oil. Pollo Frito was a tasteless piece of processed chicken. The brioche roll was the best part of the sandwich. Navy Pier is for tourists and their easily parted with dollars. The local Chicago trade would be better served at an actual tapas restaurant. Our server was friendly and engaging. We were seated at 645PM for a 700PM reservation and we were finished by 740PM. Save your shoe leather and get a typical tourist meal at the other end of the Pier.

Reasonable priced delicious entrees. Located on Navy Pier with nice views of Chicago. Professional server with excellent gust service.

This is now the pre theatre dining spot for Shakespeare on Navy Pier. The place was busy, but everything came out piping hot and delicious. The jumbo sizzling shrimp were a steal at 28 bucks! Many many HUGE guys in a delectable butter sauce with yummy bread to soak up sauce. Could be a great app for 4 people. We had the perfect street corn and quesadillas with steak. Loved our cocktails. It’s a bit of a walk to the theatre, but hey, where else are go gonna go? Plus the lighting was inviting and the tables had candles. Charming and comfortable bar seats also provide a nice water view while dining.

The food was really good, service was really bad. We waited over 40 minutes without anyone coming to check on our meal. I had to ask for a manger to get someone to come to the table. We had the guacamole as an appetizer. The ceviche and Salmon as a main course for lunch. The fish was fresh and the flavors were good. The chips were a little soggy.

I had a wonderful experience at Lírica restaurant in downtown Chicago during my first visit to the city. The ambiance was fantastic, with cozy booths that fostered an intimate atmosphere while also accommodating groups. The lighting set the perfect mood. The food was quite intriguing, featuring saffron as a key ingredient in many dishes. If you're unfamiliar with its benefits, I highly recommend researching it! The beef empanadas were outstanding—definitely a must-try. I also enjoyed the octopus dish, which was well-prepared and flavorful. My waiter was attentive and courteous, adding to the overall positive experience. I appreciated that the manager, Clarissa, took the time to engage with guests; it really made me feel valued as a customer. For my first time in the city, the location was ideal, as I was able to easily catch an Uber right outside the hotel connected to the restaurant. Overall, I had a delightful experience!

We enjoyed our stay here at the Sable and breakfast at Lirica. The staff was kind and the food is excellent. I would like to give specialthanks to our server Alma who is always so pleasant and kind. We will be back!

Just stopped for a snack and beverages without knowing anything about the restaurant. Very pleased with the result: good food and good service. I would recommend Lirica to anyone in the area. We especially enjoyed the grilled cheese and the fries. Plus, they have fantastic pickles.

We stayed at the sable hotel and we decided to eat breakfast at Lirica. My kid ordered pancakes which she liked it and we ordered the continental breakfast which includes coffee, cup of fruit and toast. Coffee was as good as cheap coffee from a gas station, fruit was from the day before and their toast was just toast. Service was almost as they did not care about customers. After this experience, we did not eat there for the rest of our stay.

We were staying at the Sable hotel and came down for breakfast. It was very good. Sunday only had a $32 buffet. It is an open atmosphere with indoor and outdoor seating. Dinner and lunch menu is limited. We will come back.

Alma was the best server ever . They are lucky to have someone like her on there team. I will definitely ask for her to be are server when we return again. Thanks
Fine
Nothing fancy camera that much of a wine list, average service. The short rib burger is very good (standard house fries come with), the brussels sprouts are excellent.
