Walking in I didn't expect such high quality of food. Clean, crisp flavors with authentic ingredients.

Love this place, off the Beaten path and Awesome Thai Cuisine!!!! Great Curry dishes and a variety of choices šš¼šš¼šš¼

I read about this place over 10 years ago in Creative Loafing. I'd read about the Spicy Squid salad, which I just had to try. So I went and tried it and fell in love! Little Bangkok is a small place the fills quickly but for a very good reason, the food is really good. They have been in the same location for a long time and I don't think they have any intention of relocating. This place is truly an Atlanta gem. As I do with seems like all Thai restaurants, I always order the Duck which is very good. It comes with a red curry sauce which is very good. The only thing that I have to really complain about is the parking because there is not much parking in front and on the side of the building. Otherwise, I have absolutely no complaints about the anything else there. So I had to take away one star just because of the parking, because there have been times that I wanted to go there and couldn't because there was no place to park. Its especially disappointing when I can almost taste the squid salad and the duck but cant get to it.....lol...

I eat Little Bangkok a couple times per week, usually takeout. It's consistently excellent, with my favorites being the Panang curry, red curry, and massaman chicken. Note that they tend to skimp on the rice with takeout, so request extra (small charge). It never takes more than 15 minutes for the food to be ready, thought you may spend a few minutes waiting to pay. There are like 6 parking spots, but you can park across the street without issue after business hours, or put your flashers on in the gas station parking lot next door if you're just picking up. Service is nothing excellent, but the food will draw you back time and again.

Me and two friends were excited for Sunday night dinner at Little Bangkok. We arrived and they said 3 times it would be 10 minutes wait. However, weāve been waiting for 30. What is so beyond frustrating is that there were two tables opening up at the exact same time. One that seats 4 people and one that seats 2, and instead of seating us at the 4 person table, they seated the party of 2 before us at the 4 person table. So we were left waiting for another 25 minutes. There was no line strategy at all. They were not happy when we offered the clear solution here to put the party of 2 at a table 2 and a party of 3 at the table of 4. HOPE THIS CHANGES!

This is my favorite Thai place. Iāve been going there for the past 10 years! The taste of their food is always consistent! Itās a hole in a wall kinda place but never judge its book by its cover! You wonāt regret!

I work around the corner and when I don't go home for lunch, I'll often walk to LB. This avoids the parking dilemma; very limited parking. The waiting area is tiny. So guests waiting for tables are crammed into the cashier area or spill out on the sidewalk. Can be a problem in cold or rainy weather. So best to avoid peak mealtimes. The service is always prompt and efficient. So much so that its not a good place if you want to linger over a lunch. My entrees often arrive while I'm still eating my soup and snacking on the crispy noodles. Two columns of lunch specials are very well priced. One column is Thai and the other Chinese. Everything is always tasty and easy to get some "fire" if you like spices. I raved about the place to my wife and took her to dinner there. For some reason, I thought if lunch was this good, dinner would be even better. Alas, dinner was just like lunch; which was very good. But I was hoping to be blown away. I highly recommend LB.

Me and couple of co-workers went out to lunch at Little Bangkok. Upon receiving the check, we realized there was an 18% gratuity for our small group of 5. I did not mind paying the gratuity however, when i asked him why we have such a high gratuity on our bill he responded with "why not" with an attitude. I told him that normally have to have a party of 7 or more, and he replied with "did you not read?". He then went to grab the menu to show me and I told him that i did not order while looking at the menu. He then said "then why did you order? You didn't look at the menu?" then walked away. A simple question went wrong, we just wanted to know why we were being charged such a high amount in gratuity for our small party. We felt he was utterly rude and disrespectful to his customers and felt unwelcome at Little Bangkok.

Little Bangkok was definitely a great experience in Thai Food. The food was excellent, and the service was very quick. Its a place to go for the food rather than the ambiance. The only recommendation I have is that if you plan on going there at around 6pm plan on traffice if you are using Lenox Ave. It took us about an hour to get there, what should have been a 15 minute car ride. Fortunately the service was real quick.

Small place with very limited parking, but we had wonderful food and enjoyed the meal. Not too spicy but great flavor and good service.

Excellent sizzling rice soup, great panang and fried rice

Great service, clean restaurant. Average Thai food, very good prices, and good portions. Pad thai was a bit sweet, but tasty.

This hole in the wall is our favorite Thai place in Atlanta. There is usually a wait to get in, unless you go when it first opens. The owners, Silk and Amy have assembled a first class crew. They move fast and keep things flowing. Our favorite appetizer is the Thai Dumplings, although any one of the soups are great too! Among the entrees we love are Green Mango Flounder, Pad Thai, Spicy Catfish, Garlic Salmon, Masaman Curry, Drunken Noodles, Lad Na, and Moo Shu Chicken. What I first noticed years ago is that chefs from other prominent restaurants eat here for lunch. I asked one chef why he comes to Little Bangkok and he said it was simple, "The food is so fresh. You can tell it's fresh when it comes out."

Few notes: Bad customer service Delicious Thai Spring rolls Tom Yum was good Panang chicken curry was average. I would have given them 4 stars if it wasn't for the bad customer service Overflowed parking

Good Thai food. Quick lunch take-out. Staff could be friendlier. Poor parking.

Little Bangkok is one of the original Thai places in Atlanta and has survived due to the food, location and the great Family Owners. Any seafood dish is recommended and the food is fresh, Check it out

I must eat lunch here once a week, othewise co-workers steer clear. I become cranky because I didn't get my Thai lunch fix. Always served fast, hot , and with a smile. Parking can be difficult. The front door opens backwards. Overlook these mild problems for the food. If you have not been Go. You to will become addicted to this place.

I've eaten at most of the Thai restaurants in Atlanta, and Little Bangkok is THE BEST. The service is excellent and the food even better....

What a treat! The atmosphere is cozy, food is awesome and so much attention (but not too much attention). Our group of 6 truly enjoyed our conversation during this delightful meal. We arrived just in time to double park out front for a Sat evening meal (I think it was btw 6:30-7p) Don't let the front fool you-there is a gem of hospitality and good food inside : ) Expect this hustle and bustle of a locally favored restaurant and you will not be dissappointed. Am definitely bringing my husband here next time we travel to ATL to try the dumplings per other reviews.

My son and I dropped in for lunch. He ordered the drunken noodles. It was so sweet he barely made it a third ways in before he gave up. My pad Thai was sweet too. Sweet is not to our liking

This is definitely the very best Thai restaurant I have eaten at. Every time I travel I always check out a different Thai restaurant. Little Bangkok remains my all time favorite. It is a must when traveling to Atlanta!

Little Bangkok is located in a small strip center on a busy intown street. The tiny dining room fills quickly, especially during the evening hours. The food, while not particularly spicy, is tasty, well-prepared and efficiently served.

This place is always tasty and busy. We have been eating here for 10 years and they have maintained the quality and freshness. Yum!

Put my foot down and have not returned for years. Bit the bullet and did so a couple of weeks ago...there was an empty parking spot, something rarely seen. We went in and got the last table. Service was very good. We ordered the lunch specials of Penang Curry and Pad Thai. The hot and sour soup arrived and it was some of the best in the city. Then our little lunch entrees. They were huge, but not expensive, and plenty of food. The curry dish was a little spicy but not too much. Next time we will ask for just veggies as they were great. Chicken, well, it's chicken. Then the Pad Thai without the shrimp and it was also very good. While not the best in the city (there is a lot of competition) it is quite good. Shame on me for getting an attitude and refusing to stop for years. Highly recommend. You might have to wait for a table. And ask for the check prior to really wanting it because this place is normally slammed.

It doesn't look like much for the outside but this place is a real gem on Buford Highway. When we lived closer we were there once a week. We now try to make it whenever we can. Food is so fresh. Don't miss out on the hot pot of Tom Kha Soup! We also love Bangkok Chicken and their Red Curry. YUMMMMMMY! Now I need to go again.

We went here on a Saturday night. First off, they only have parking spaces for about 8 cars and on a busy street, so parking was a challenge. We were seated pretty quickly. The service was friendly but slow and very spotty. For instance, we waited about five minutes to get silverware while our appetizers sat there and got cold. The waiter insisted on taking our order in stages -- drinks, soup, appetizer, entree -- instead of all at once. Took forever and big gaps between dishes being served. At the end, we put down two credit cards for the check. One was AmEX. Waiter came back and said they don't take AmEx, so I told him to put it all on my card, which he did. The owner then followed us to the car and demanded to know where the other check was. I pointed to the check in her hand and it clearly showed the entire meal had been paid for on one card. Food was okay, but I doubt we'll go back there.

Love their soups!!! Rolls like basil and spring rolls are good also. Food is just ok to me but I know others that love it...

My cousin & I had dinner here a week or so ago on a Saturday night. I had the Thai Spring Rolls & Pad Thai. The Spring rolls were larger than usual, mostly cabbage, with unpleasant sauce . The Pad Thai was terrible. I have had that dish in many Thai restaurants, but this was the worst I ever had. My cousin got a Chinese dish & he liked it. I had always wanted to try this place, but never again.

The interior of Little Bangkok has all the usual trappings of an older style Asian restaurant. A bit to much for my taste. Their menu features more than just Thai dishes. Branching into Chinese and more. Offering more variety. The coconut soup I had was delicious and I enjoyed my chicken satay as well. Good peanut sauce. Service was friendly. One thing to be aware of, there's not a lot of parking in front of the building. My experience at this restaurant was better than the first one.

I'm a huge fan of Thai food, and have eaten Thai at many of the countries top establishments. I am proud that THE BEST Thai is in my hometown: Little Bangkok (not to be confused with "Bangkok" down the street. A totally different experience). Amie and Su the owners oftentimes visit tableside to make sure that everyone is pleased with their dishes. LIttle Bangkok uses ample and fresh ingredients....and the end result is amazing. I've had tom kha at many places where it tasted watered down (or they used only small amounts of coconut milk)--not the case here. Little Bangkok has the best tom kha soup in the city. I've never had a dish, or a meal, that I wasn't pleased with. Little Bangkok is very casual...not an elegant place. Go in, relax, get full, and smile! Must try: *tom kha soup *thai dumplings *lettuce wraps *basil dish (beef or chicken) *panang curry dish (beef, chicken, shrimp, etc). You can't go wrong here!

Thai or Asian fusion restaurants in midtown or the highlands do what they do well, but Little Bangkok hits the spot when you just want a delicious massaman chicken with some basil rolls. It may not look like much from the road but the interior space is cozy and not crowded--except for the doorway. There's often a wait in the tight doorway to get in. That, to me, is how you know you've found a little gem!

This restaurant is within walking distance from my house. With the current traffic problems, I have been exploring my local restaurants. Little Bangkok is a hole in the wall place in an semi-abandon strip mall. I have been here several times and most recently for lunch. Special lunch menu averaging around 7 bucks for soup and entree. Dinner is around 10+ dollars. Fusion of Chinese and Thai food. If you are looking for classic Thai food, this place is not really for you. They have vegetarian options and plenty of other meat and seafood options as well. Portions are just about right, not too big and not too small. Fast and polite service. There are limited parking options, they have maybe four spaces. I walk, so I am not sure where everyone parks. It is very crowded on the weekends and many people just get takeout. I've never had a bad meal here. The curries are a little different but not bad. More like a VERY good Chinese place with Thai influence.

For 10 years i had passed this place by, even though a former co-worker swore by it. Then, for lunch 3 weeks ago, I stopped in. I had the special: flounder with penang curry. It came with a hot/sour soup (okay soup, but nothing special) and a large portion of rice for just $7.95. The penang curry itself was the best i've eaten in Atlanta. Some of the vegetables were frigerator cold, but the flounder was delicious. I went back later that week to get take out dinner. I tried the duck in red curry (another good choice) and some spicy shrimp dish with spicy chilies. The duck was definitely the better of the two. The flavor of the shrimp was good but the dish itself was way too watery. Mali or Tamarind Seed does a much better shrimp in chilies, so stick with the curries here. They're the focus. I also want to say that this place has by far the best chicken coconut soup in the city. It's phenomenal. It is always packed, I see, when I go in to pick up dinner food.

The menu had an excellent selection of Thai and Chinese food. A wide variety of options I ordered the Thai Pai Noodles and was pleasantly surprised at the way they were cooked. Shrimp and chicken were mixed in. Food was fresh and very tasty. Will for sure come back when I head to Atlanta again. Price was great for what we got.

Tiny Thai family owned restaurant tucked in on a cheesey strip Mall on Cheshire Bridge Rd where the food is always great and constant and fresh tasting.People don't go there for the ambiance or for having waiters hovering over your table waiting on you in hands and knees, but as anyone can notice it is always packed. I've never had anything bad out of the menu there and I've been going for at least 15 years. I go there at least once a month. Masaman Curry ,Thom Ka soup,Basil chicken and Shrimp and avocado in a coconut sauce are my favorites. The place is very casual, they open for lunch and dinner 7 days a week and it fairly inexpensive. They also have a nice variety of beers.

We went random and found this place. The menu were really good. Great Hospitality. Great Staff. Ordered Dumplings, Thai Pengyang Curry, Tom Yong Soup, and Kom Pau. Each dish has its own different taste. They are really GOOD. Atlantaās Best Thai Restaurant!!

I loved this restaurant when I started eating there in 1996, when I first arrived in Atlanta. And after visiting Thailand in 2006, and I appreciated this special Family owned restaurant even more. You can't go wrong - for Dine in or Pick-up. Ask for the Papaya Salad with Beef Jerky and the Massaman curried anything. Perfection!

As you can read (in my prior reviews) I rate on the high side, but not this one. Have been here quite a few times and the food is average, but the portions huge for the price. Today attitude got the best of me. I arrived 2 minutes after closing to pick up some hot and sour soup to go.....No way. This little man behind the counter says "kitchen is closed, kitchen closed" but never looked up as he was cleaning and clipping his finger nails. I know the kitchen was not totally closed down as there was a man sitting waiting for his togo order. And yes, their lunches come with hot and sour soup. Does one think they make it from scatch...noooo. Bet it is in a big pot in the back. I do realize that they had closed 2 minutes prior to my arrival but the little man could have looked up instead of just repeating himself. But the real icing on the cake was the cleaning of the finger nails. This is quite nasty and I can only imagine what they do behind those closed doors that lead into the kitchen. They will not get another penny of mine. Diners beware, you normally get what you pay for.

I have tried to eat here several times over the past few years but the parking is just atrocious. I was going by once again and got lucky. Right at lunch time too. Its not an attractive place on the outside but on the inside it is quite oriental looking and quite appealing. I was seated quickly and perused the menu. The lunch menu is divided into Thai dishes and Chinese dishes. I chose Spicy Chicken on the Thai side. I was served a bowl of noodles and a cup of soup. It was very good soup, not that egg drop stuff but a rich delicious soup with substance. The spicy chicken was hot and sufficiently spicy for my taste. The vegetables were all fresh and hot. It was served with a sizable bowl of steamed rice that I used to polish up my meal by soaking up the wonderful sauce that the dish was served in. I will definitely go back. IF I can find a place to park.

I'm from the SF Bay Area, and we're spoiled when it comes to most Asian foods. I was a little dismayed when friends said, "Let's go get Thai" because I wondered what it would be like. Little Bangkok is good solid Thai food. I suspected as much when we drove up -- the parking was full! We parked next door (signs say you can after 6pm) and went inside. It's a basic Thai menu, nothing exotic, but everything we had was good. The Pad Thai is done properly, our curries were good, and the service was friendly. We were not rushed, even though they were crazy busy. If you want a Thai fix in Atlanta, this place is a good bet!

Little Bangkok is a very popular Thai restaurant for Atlanta locals. Reasonable prices and good menu choices. Parking can be a problem and occasionally have to wait for a table.

Nice place with good food. Little Bangkok has a Thai and Chinese menu. Mains run from 9-13 dollars and the food is tasty and the service is fast. A good, reliable place to grab Asian food

This holiday in the wall is some of the best Thai I've ever eaten. A favorite of even local Atlanta chefs.

The spice on my Hunan beef lunch was just right ! The hot & sour soup is of this world ! This resturant and the staff is Wonderful and well worth you time to dine with them

The best Unpretentious Thai in Atlanta- I have been coming to Little Bangkok since their 2nd week of opening- Always fresh and delicious- excellent and not overly heavy sauces - Always great at a great price - You will not be disappointed

Best Thai food around! Dumplings are the best we have EVER eaten! Do not judge the restaurant by the building. Be prepared to have trouble parking and wait to be seated but rest assured the food is so worth it!!!!

Little Bangkok is a small family run restaurant serving authentic style Thai & Chinese dishes. Reasonably priced and EXTREMELY GOOD! I had a mixed seafood dish with shrimp, scallops, crab claws, chicken, beef, snow peas, bamboo shoots, and some other veggies served on a sizzling hot plate at my table. All mixed in a very mild sauce. The Thai spring roll served with peanut was DELICIOUS! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!

Oh my goodness the most delicious Thai food! There's a reason why that place had a line waiting to order as we walked in! I suggest ordering on phone ahead of time if you're taking out, took about 20minutes to be ready. Staff was still friendly over the phone even though extremely busy.

This popular Thai restaurant has a loyal following and given its prime location on Cheshire Bridge Road draws a crowd, one that's large enough to overwhelm the tiny entranceway that is the waiting area. Expectant customers spill into the dining room and servers put the rush on diners in order to turn tables more quickly. On a recent visit, servers tried to remove my plate multiple times before I was finished. It's not the kind of place to catch up with a friend you haven't seen in a while. Wait times are typically short, however. The menu is not the pages long tome typical at some Asian restaurants, but is kept simple, one page each, front and back, for both the Thai menu and Chinese menu. There's plenty to choose from, but I consistently order from the specials listed on a table tent card. It's where the more interesting entrees are posted. My favorite is fish, usually flounder or sea bass, steamed in a foil packet with bok choy and strips of red pepper in a fragrant ginger sauce. It's healthy and delicious. The other things I've tried are pretty standard fare. You know the drill, Basil rolls, Tom Ka soup, Masaman Curry, Pad Thai. If you're looking for a favorite Thai restaurant, check out Little Bangkok.

Always enjoy Little Bangkok. Their Tom Kai soup for the table is liquid gold. Each had a great dish. Green Curry Beef, Twice Cooked Pork, Garlic Chicken. Fried bananas for dessert. The nicest people in Atlanta.

It is favorite of many locals. It is small and be prepared to wait for table if early evening. A definate parking problem unless they may have arranged with next door business to help.

While my go-to Thai restaurant is undergoing a change in ownership and renovation, I decided to give this spot a try. The interior has a very cluttered appearance, that's not easy on the eyes. Judging by the crowd it's a popular place. After being seated it was a while before someone took my order. The menu has both Thai and Chinese dishes. The Thai spring rolls I started with seemed more Chinese than Thai. I didn't care for them. The Chicken Panang Curry wasn't any better. It was too watery and had too strong of a licorice taste. A pretty disappointing meal. As far as service goes, it wasn't friendly and except for bringing my food, I never heard from anyone. In a word...Disappointing.

Facility is always spotless. Food comes out quick and Hot. Service is spot on. I visit several times a month and it's always good. Parking can be difficult.

This is my favorite place to eat Thai in Atlanta. The place is very small and there is no parking at all (maybe 5 spots) but the food is outstanding and cheap. Try the basil beef with a little extra spice.

Sons and I ate supper. We had the Tom Ka soup for an appetizer. Delicious. Our entrees were Pad Thai and Masaman Chicken. All were excellent. Service was great.

Just visited this restaurant and I was very disappointed on the service received today. Few things...Location of this restaurant is horrible. Once you park, someone will park behind you blocking you in interrupting your evening and their meal to move their car. Or you might have to block someone and they will interrupt you to move your car. The staff is rude, it is almost as you are pestering them when asking questions about the menu and then they rush you out of the restaurant during your meal. They will discuss in front of each other, in their native language making you feel like an idiot for not understanding what they are saying. It feels as if they are racist towards non-oriental clients. Food is ok. I have found better Thai at other near by restaurant. Maybe a bit more expensive, but service, parking and staff is way better. Oh, yeah, and they do not take American Express. I guess it is too American for them. The business hours don't make a lot of sense either. Even though this place is so conveniently located close to my house, I will not be back here again, I will drive and pay more just to avoid this kind of service.

First, the con: Expect to wait to get a seat; parking is at a premium, park across the street; decor is far from elegant (no-frills). Now for the pro: food is first-class! Curry dishes are worth a try. My favorite is their basil chicken. Food served quickly at a reasonable price. Have gone several times and have not been disappointed.

If you check my reviews you will see we frequent Thai food restaurant often. Being from Atlanta I have been to Little Bangkok many times. I must say the food is some of the best in the states, service in friendly and attentive. You will probably get a table side visit from the owner to check on everything. I highly recommend Little Bangkok when your taste buds call for Thai. Make sure to try the Rainbow Duck Curry it is out of this world and fantastic Pad Thai and soup as well. Give them a try and don't be put off by their small location it is worth it!!

Considering this is one of the better Thai restaurants in Metro Atlanta, I wasn't as impressed this visit. Yes the place was busy, but not full. So I'm wondering why they were in such a rush to take our order? Agree with another poster re: spring rolls. Large, full of cabbage and tasteless.. I order a chicken dish which was marked spicy and I said I wanted it spicy. It came bland and was sent back. Not the best meal I have eaten there.

Small Place with friendly owners who remember you if you are even a semi regular. Hard to park and cramped but worth it all.

Our niece's favorite restaurant since she was little. Sure enough, I see why. It is very reasonable and excellent food. The service is very good too. We love going there even though for our big family, they always seem to make space for us! We live in Atlanta now.

When Thai food was suggested, I was a little apprehensive being from NY with great authentic Thai food and having visited Thailand with the real thing, but was I surprised! This definitely is not a place to go to if you want to impress with ambiance and decor, but the food makes up for it. They even make dishes that weren't on the menu. I wanted two dishes not on the menu and they didn't hesitate when I mentioned Som tam. I will definitely be back when in Atlanta and the price is right!

The first time we attempted to eat at this restaurant, there was no parking. This time, early in the evening, there was parking available. The staff did their basic job, but none of them seemed friendly or happy. Atmosphere is non-existent. The coconut soup was very good. The yum beef salad was beef placed on a bed of soggy lettuce. Some of the lettuce was almost mushy - as if it had been in water for a long time, or was just old. The flavor was just not good. It was extremely salty. The squid tasted like breading. The chili sauce did not go well with it. We were unable to eat the entire plate. Just not appetizing. The pad thai was just okay. It was boring.

We were recommended to try Little Bangkok by friends who said this is the best Thai food in Atlanta. I have to admit that we haven't eaten very much Asian cuisine since arriving in Atlanta because it's felt fairly disappointing compared to the fantastic options back in Sydney. That said, Little Bangkok did not disappoint. Walking into the restaurant we felt immediately at ease by the authentic Thai decor. Food was tasty, although we would have liked the spicy food to have a bit more kick in it. The spring rolls were a little strange - probably wouldn't recommend those to anyone who is comparing them to Australia. Otherwise I would happily recommend Little Bangkok to friends. Note that it's a very small restaurant with limited parking so follow the website recommendation and park across the road at Gail Fabric and Kong's Body Shop after 6pm.

Small, but very popular.

This restaurant made me sick. I came out with a friend and ordered the shrimp avocado dish. It was good but I got full very quickly which was strange I almost wonder if it was msg. I got sick as soon as I reached my home I began to vomit violently all night and into the morning I feel absolutely terrible today. This place has incredible reviews and my friend recommended it so why was I poisoned?

If you were just driving by this is not the type of place you might stop. It does not look like much from the outside. However, you might notice a very busy parking lot and that would be a clue it is a place to go. I had been told this was especially good Thai food if I found myself in Atlanta. I went and I agree. This is not fancy inside or out but the food is very good and it was worth the trip. I had Pad Thai. I certainly would eat here again if I was in the area.

Great food a friendly service. You can get Thai or Chinese food. Also have imported beers. Everyone in our party enjoyed our meal. Our friend dines here frequently one of his favorites

Had the Pad Thai - it was pretty good, with rice & bean sprouts, though really have little to compare against as not sure Iāve had Thai before. Didnāt love the egg rolls or soup, but service was friendly & attentive. One coworker goes all the time. Others in group seemed to really like it. The place has a very good health score at this point & decent lunch prices for midtown ATL. Tight parking - be sure youāre in a legal space & not encroaching on neighboring businesses. There are signs about that.

I've been coming to this restaurant for almost ten years now. The staff is very welcoming and wonderful to deal with. Your always guaranteed your food in less than 10. This place has and still continues to win awards for Best Thai food in Atlanta. Once you walk into this little hole in the wall place you will see numerous awards on the wall. Also a smiling staff waiting to seat you at your table to serve you the best meal of the day. Rather your visiting the city for a few days or been a long time resident of the city and has not checked this place out come on down and try it for yourself. Cheers!

Like one of the other reviewers on here, I too wondered if those writing the many positive reviews and myself both dined at the same restaurant. We went around 9PM on a Friday and were seated immediately. A good thing. The store looks like a nasty, little, hole-in-the wall on Cheshire Bridge Road with terrible parking, but we thought, "OK, cruddy looking on the outside just may mean good things on the inside." It didn't. The sign in the front window stating, "Do not leave valuables in your car." was a bit disconcerting as well. The place is small and noisy. No problem, if the food is good I can overlook almost anything. It wasn't. The fresh basil roll with shrimp that we both ordered was like plastic with a sickly sweet, almost of jam consistency, peanut sauce. The Tom Ka Soup had an orange color that I have never seen in my many years of eating Tom Ka Soup. (Was it Halloween in Thailand?) The Bangkok Chicken and the House Lo Mein we ordered was of equal quality to that found in an Asian take-away in any shopping mall food court, at double the price. Next time if I want mediocre Asian food I will save myself some money and eat at Panda Express. One wonders from the many positive reviews of this restaurant and the many really mediocre to bad food establishments in the city, that perhaps the residents of this area just don't know good food.

My favorite Thai place in town. Great panang curry.

Overall the experience at Little Bangkok was good. We went on a Sunday night and they were busy. Parking is limited but at least after 6pm you can park next door. Iām a little thrown off by the Chinese and Thai combo but the place was good. It is small but decorated nicely. We came for Thai so we enjoyed the fired Thai spring rolls, Pad Kee Moi, and Basil Chicken. The Spring rolls were interesting. Because they were fried they reminded me of an egg roll. Not bad but nothing outstanding. The Pad Kee Moi was enjoyable, but I really enjoyed the Basil Chicken. The food tasted fresh and overall I was happy with the meal. Iād be happy to come back here.

This is another one of my go 2 spots. Had not been there in a while due to construction (I-85 collapse). Made my way other theses was not disappointed. I reviewed a restaurant in Charleston where I wanted some Pud Thai. I took a picture of Little Bangkok Pud Thai just so you know if you order noodles and they are pink send it back.

A wonderful evening with friends ruined by a rude and unprofessional cashier. The food was excellent and the service great! While paying, the cashier accused us of attempting to not pay for an item. My money will be spent elsewhere!!!

Little Bangkok has hands-down the most authentic and best Thai food in the Atlanta area. I've been coming here for years and recently just went to Thailand and I have to say their food is still the best Thai food I've ever had!! It is a casual place with great service. If you're looking for great Thai food, this is your place!

I have been looking for a good thai restaurant in Atlanta for months and finally I found it! I tried green curry with chicken and my wife pad thai and was delicius. We've been in Thailand a few months ago, and we think this is the most authentic thai food in Atlanta!

Thai spring roll was comparable to something you would find in your grocer's freezer compartment. It was bad! The Fancy Fried Rice was just that- rice with some soy and very little else. Nothing fancy about it. The General Tsu's Chicken was OK, but not great. Definitely will not go back.

Some of the best Thai food I've had outside Thailand.... but the parking is ridiciulously bad. Used to be able to park next door... but the new owners have taken that convenience away. Not great neighborhood parking. However.. the food is totally worth the hassle..

This place is an authentic thai cuisine! It is delicious and made to order. The name says it all. It is a little restaurant and it gets packed. It is a an authentic Bangkok street noodle gem.Just be prepare for the crappy parking that they have up front but it is worth it. I love their pad tai and the dumplings as an appetizer. Everything is made to order and the service is great. I love the tai tea. It is very good too. The servers are always polite and food never takes longer than expected. I highly recommend this place.

The basil chicken and Panang curry is definitely worth trying!!!!!! The restaurant is always busy so service may not always be up to scratch.

Little Bangkok looks like a dive from the outside, but let's face it, you usually find the best food ever that way. This is a small place (you may have to wait for a table) with a great decor (Thai inspired of course) and even better food! Moderately priced. They tend to be pretty quick with the entrees though, so if you want an appetizer, wait for it to arrive before you order your entree unless you don't mind them going down close together

I only tried two items on this menu as takeout while in the area on business, but what a couple of items! The Thai dumpling looked more like ShuMai, and my were they tasty tasty! My favorite was the Avocado Shrimp. I had seen some reviews mentioning this dish and figured, Avocados? I'm in. This was a creamy, almost souplike sauce that I mixed with the rice. Sure the shrimp were probably frozen, but the coconut milk based sauce and the avocados were the true highlights. I've never seen this before on a Thai menu, but I'll be looking for it everywhere I go now.

The location is hardly prestigious and the decor is definitely not why you go, but the Thai food is great. It is in a strip mall location and the outside looks as though it must be tiny, but the restaurant goes back a fair way. The menu is split between Thai and Chinese. We did not try any of the Chinese food. The appetizers are large, in fact all the portions are generous, so the three of us needed "to go" boxes at the end. The Red curry , Spicy Shrimp and the Pad Thai were all really good. Food was served quickly but not in too much haste and the service was friendly. They do not accept Amex though just for information. We will go back.

The Asian cuisines on Cheshire Bridge and Buford HWY are incredibly awesome! I came in just for Seasame Chicken $6.75. But the minimum was $10 to use CC. I offered to pay for a guest's meal to make up the difference. Unfortunately, Singh wldn't allow me to do that. š Instead he let me go this time. As a frequent flyer here I definitely appreciated that gesture. On a more important note the food is ALWAYS delicious here. Great for a late night (11pm) meal on a Friday/Sat too! š

Discovering it was past 7 p.m. and the larder was empty, we popped around the corner to one of what are our favorite lunch and dinner defaults. Despite its name, there is an equal number of Chinese dishes but we always come for the Thai. All entrees (from both countries) are in the $9-$11 range and all are reliably goodāwhich is the reason this small (64 people at a time, tops), no-reservations restaurant usually is packed. And, because parking is really tight (latecomers must park across always-busy, four-lane Cheshire Bridge Road), you should try to arrive before 6:30 p.m. or after 8 p.m. on weekdays. Weekends itās open season. Noise in the single, brightly lighted room can reach hard-to-converse levels, while dĆ©cor leans towards plush, sequined deities and elephants, pictures of Thai royalty, sparkly tiered Thai headdresses, and goldwashed reclining Buddhas. After Thai movie star and martial arts expert Tony Jaa ate here while in Atlanta filming "Fast and Furious 7ā (he played the antagonist Kiet), his framed photo and muay thai (a form of kickboxing) golf shirt were added to the wall. These items would spell ākitschā in any other setting but here are a perfect fit with the simple, friendly, convivial atmosphere. Everyone always seems happy. And no matter what you order, you will receive a fortune cookie to finish off the meal.

Dont let the location or the hole in wall atmosphere fool you. Its the best Thai food around. Great service, friendly staff and incredible food. The pad thai is incredible. Glass chicken app is so good and rolls with peanut sauce are to die for. My family ordered the drunk chicken noodle and was raving about it too. A must eat at restaurant and reasonable too

Came here for dinner with business associates. Ordered dumplings which were very good. Hot Sour soup was perfect and temperature hot for $2.70. Won Ton soup was also very good. Pad Thai was hot and very tasty. Pad Sewie was excellent with tons of vegatables and chicken. Beef and brown sauce was the weakest dish but good if you like onions. Service was quick and prices very reasonable.

I was really disappointed with my experience at Little Bangkok last night. We walked in and had to wait about 10 minutes, no big deal. We were seated in the back area next to the kitchen, so it was somewhat hectic with people walking back and forth behind our small 2 person table. We ordered the thai dumplings and tom yum soup to start. The dumplings were okay, the filling was a bit dry. The tom yum soup was excellent. One of the best I've had. For entrees we ordered the Massaman Curry and Pad Thai. The Massaman was pretty good, not the best but it was good. Now, the Pad Thai is another story. Where I was sitting, I was facing the kitchen area, so I can see when food is being brought out. What I saw is they have a system where the food is brought out to a table where the servers do their paperwork/keep silverware and all. I saw food being brought out and left there for a few minutes many times, under no heat lamp. So, after our appetizers were finished I saw a plate of pad thai sitting on that table. I figured it was mine, since it was just sitting there (under no heat lamp). I want to say at least 7-8 minutes went by until the massaman curry was brought to that table too. The server then went to bring us our dishes and I asked her for a new one because that pad thai was sitting out for quite some time and was probably cold. I even checked it and tasted a little and the noodles were room temperature. Pad Thai, or any food at all, should always be served fresh and instantly to the guest. She asked if I wanted it re-heated, I said no just a new one please. No apology or anything, not friendly at all. About 2 minutes goes by, and she brings out a "new" pad thai. Now, I knew this was the same one because I used a little lime and bent the lime, and it was the same lime on the same plate. I could tell they just re-heated it because the noodles were now overcooked, the chicken was dry, and some noodles were a bit burnt. I asked if this was a new one or was it re-heated, and she didn't answer. I knew it was just re-heated. So, I tracked down another guy and he took it away. I wasn't even sure who our server was, so many people come to help. So we received the bill and were still charged for the pad thai. I told them I sent it back and didn't eat it, so they brought the new bill. No apologies or anything. Maybe we just hit it at a bad time, but overall, the food was nothing special (besides the soup), and the service was very poor. Health Alert!- Also, one of the servers handling the food kept coughing into his hand pretty bad, and kept serving food, never washing his hands. I saw him do this quite a few times throughout the night. So, hopefully the people he was serving did not get sick. It was quite disgusting, luckily he did not bring out my food or I would've called him out on it.

It was a mutual selection by friends. Busy place but food and service are both great. Must try for authentic Thai food.

A friend and I have a monthly tradition of visiting a different Thai restaurant once a month. This week we checked out Little Bangkok here in Atlanta and I was blown away at how good the food was! I had curry chicken fried rice and it was spicy deliciousness ( I asked for Thai spicy, level 5)! The portion was pretty large and I took quite a bit home with me. The downside of this restaurant location is that it is small and the parking is extremely limited. I would definitely suggest taking Uber/Lyft and if it's busy you will have to wait for a table...but it will be well worth the wait!!!!

For 20+ years we considered this the absolute best Thai cuisine in town. Unfortunately they must have changed chefs. We got a huge order to go and the only item that seemed to taste as before was the beef larb. Very disappointed.

I've been coming to Little Bangkok for lunch for approximately 12 years (yeah, I'm old...lol). Anyways, this is the best food and the best deal at the same time. Service is prompt and food is always fresh and delicious. Don't take my word for it. Go and you will be onboard.

Dont let the exterior or tiny size fool you. This little gem, tucked away in a tiny corner of Cheshire Bridge Rd, has massive flavor and is completely authentic. I've eaten here for almost twenty years and am always astounded with the volume of business they do. My favorite is the Spicy Seabass...a frequent chef special. As always...the most delicious orange slices complete your dining experience. Built in acquariums add to the ambience of this very special small space. Service is always perfect and the cleanliness...top notch. Lunch specials are such a bargain and the best deal in town. One night in Little Bankok and any man will find his oyster!

I don't get the hype and praise that most people give this place. Overall, there's nothing wrong with it but nothing stands out as being outstanding. I saw nothing thst gives a compelling reason to be a destination for dinner. Their spring rolls appear to be made with egg roll wrappers which I do not like. They do not offer brown rice as an option which is very disappointing The Masaman chicken was tasty but small portion. It was focused more on presentation than content. For two spring rolls, Masaman chicken and water my bill was $30. I see no real reason to put up with their insane and dangerous parking situation if you don't have too. There are many other nearby options as less cost and much better parking.

A long time Atlanta favourite of Students to Board Directors, who have poured into this tiny restaurant despite less than 6 onsite parking spaces (patrons car jockey their cars so that others can park behind them, since Reagan was President! How's that for neighborly southern hospitality, Bangkok Style!) Heavy to go traffic, too! Over 150 choice Vietnamese, Oriental inspired dishes on their extensive menu. Bar choices.. Most begin with flaming center soups and go from there. Very moderately priced

We have been coming here for over 20 years; that you tell how how great we think Amy & Sur's little restaurant is! All the staff are friendly, the service is fast and the food is absolutely fantastic. We are always made to feel very special when we go there. Don't miss it!

This is one of our favorite family restaurant. The food is always great. Their Panang Chicken Curry and the Red Thai Curry are some of our favorites.

Since I lived a few blocks from the restaurant; I loved coming for dinner even though I had to wait because it's usually packed so I would suggest a reservation; and now that I go to Atlanta every other month, I always look forward eating in there. They have both Thai and Chinese menus with plenty of options to choose. My favorite is Masaman, the noodles are delicious well and you can always choose to add any kind of meat or tofu to your meals. One of the things I enjoyed the most is the candy you get by the door when you leave. It's a little green wrap with a very rich guava flavor inside , so don't expect the regular peppermint but a delicious piece of candy which I can't get enough of it!

My husband and I live quite near Little Bangkok. We eat there regularly and also get take out. LB has a wide variety of choices and never disappoints. Don't miss out on this great local restaurant! *I have no idea why TripAdvisor shows LB as $$$ (as of March 2016), it's definitely a better value - just take a look at the menu for pricing.

I love Pad-Thai. My wife works in Atlanta and has eaten here before. She raved about the Pad-Thai so I decided to give Little Bangkok a try. I ordered the Beef Pad Thai. It came with a cup of hot and sour soup. Little Bangkok also offers a Chinese selection as well as Thai. The soup was perfect, just the right amount of heat. The Pad Thai was utterly fantastic. I have eaten the dish from coast to coast. This is by far the best I've tasted. The beef was seared which was not the usual way I've had it. I loved the texture of the entire dish. The sauce was out of this world good. Parking is a challenge. Their system allows you to block-park the car in front of you and comes to find you if the other diner leaves before you do. Lunch was under $10.00 with tip. I will eat here again and again until I've run the entire menu. What a little gem this place is!

Little Bangkok is a hole in the wall - but that hole with it's tiny storefront contains some of the best Thai food in Atlanta. I love authentic Thai food - the flavors and fresh ingredients are wonderful. I love the spice. But most of Atlanta's Thai restaurants are watered down versions of real Thai food. Little Bangkok is the real deal. I've been there for lunch and for dinner. Parking is impossible unless you arrive after 6:00 PM and can park next door. Expect a crowd. But also expect good service and good food at reasonable prices.

Little Bangkok is located in an inconspicuous strip center and the parking can be a little tight. Once inside, though, the place is pleasant without being fussy. The servers are helpful and efficient. We shared the dumpling appetizer which was OK but I probably wouldnāt get it again. Then we shared a delicious hot pot of Tom Kha soup. Three of us got a couple of servings each of the soup from the hot pot. For entrees we had a Beef with Basil, a Massaman Chicken and a Pad Kee Mao noodle with chicken. All were very good and servings were plentiful. For dessert we shared the coconut ice cream, but it was fairly icy and I wouldnāt get that again. So, there were some hits and misses, but overall we really enjoyed our dinner. I would sample more things on the menu and return regularly for my favorites.

Really good authentic Thai menu, though small dining area and not a lot of dining privacy. Often need to wait for table to open and parking is difficult. Several other excellent Thai restaurants in area if unable to park or long wait. Try Rain few blocks away next to Publix

the tom yum soup, , the basil rolls, oh my bangcock, this was one the best , found it by mistake, returning by choice.

Nice place with excellent food and service. The Pad Thai is the best ever. Not a full bar, but their house wines are good. I'd go back in a heartbeat.

Great food, price is right... It's a little small, and kind of a hole in the wall, but clean. I ordered my dish "Hot"... and although i was a little offended when the server balked at my order, and REFUSED to make it hot, he provided me with a jar of the hot stuff along with the meal so i could make it just as hot as i pleased! (and i did!) guess he didn't want the liability? worked for me!

Let's get two things out of the way. First, the parking can be a hassle. They have limited parking space, so the protocol is to double park when necessary and move your car if called upon to do so. This can be a hassle. Second, the restaurant is usually crowed, so service can sometimes be less than lightning fast. Those minor niggles mentioned, let's just say this is one of the best Thai restaurants in Atlanta. For example, I don't know what they put in the Tom Yum soup, but I could drink that stuff by the gallon, it's that good. The Pad Thai (hot) is really good. My wife also likes the Tom Yum soup, and the very tasty cashew chicken, with extra garlic. You can specify heat in terms of one to four peppers. I once had the Pad Thai at four peppers heat and was unable to move for about an hour. Really, it was that hot. I think the staff thought I was going to die. I didn't, but I won't go that hot, ever again. It's a Thai restaurant, but you can order both Thai and Chinese items off the menu. I usually stick with the Thai items. I've never had a bad experience. I'd leave the kids at home if eating here. Don't get me wrong: they're welcome, but space is a little tight. I can't recommend this place highly enough.
consistent quality and friendly service
I have been coming here for nearly 18 years and have ALWAYS has excellent food. Very impressed and the prices are reasonable. The owners are super nice as well. Love it!
