Little Griddle is very small, the space seats less than 30 at a time. However, it doesn’t feel crowed, but can be a bit loud at times. The wait for seating can be long (1/2 hour for me) if your timing is unlucky. However, the food presentation and flavor is WOW! I could taste each ingredient in every bite, yet at the same time was a perfect blend. I almost did not order the Bacon Spinach Skillet as I generally am not fond of spinach with eggs and bacon. That would have been a mistake ... absolutely the most flavorful skillet I’ve ever had! Hoping Little Griddle experiences great success.

One of the silver linings of the pandemic is that we became hyperlocal in the businesses we support. Little Griddle does one thing - breakfast - and it. Is. Fantastic. The team there (shoutout Kelsey, Diana, Mimi!) welcome us every Sunday morning and take care of us like we're friends. The pancakes are enormous and delicious (they indulge my son's "pancake with double chocolate chips, double whipped cream, double bacon" with a smile) and the skillets and sandwiches are amazing. Among our favorites: The Truckstop, The Classic, The Kiddo, all of the skillets, anything that comes on a biscuit...you get the idea. We really cannot fathom people who have issues here. The crew here makes fantastic breakfast, always treats us well, and are super friendly. It really is a highlight of our week that we plan around as much as we can. Come have breakfast here, just not on Sunday mornings, because that's when we go ;)

Breakfast is always the most important meal of the day. Start it right. Little Griddle is the right way from the Benedict to the kale salad instead of greasy dead spuds.

Mother's Day brunch! Our favorites are the Shakshuka Skillet, Bacon Cheddar Hash, and Blueberry Pancakes. Everything was tasty. This is a popular spot so don't be surprised if there's a wait.

Had the pleasure of having a business meeting here for breakfast. Great food, great coffee, great service, great everything! Red Flannel Hash was great but I really enjoyed the house salad that comes with it. All very fresh and a nice twist to an already great experience!

Our GPS said we were there, but we didn't see it at first. The three of us went inside and the tables were filled, and the food smelled good, so we decided to wait. We gave our phone number and they gave us coffee in mugs so we could wander around the little neighborhood shopping area. About fifteen minutes later, we were told our table was ready. The menu is small. They offer their own interpretations of breakfast favorites. I ordered red flannel hash, and the others ordered eggs Benedict and a breakfast sandwich. All were served with fresh leafy salads. The bread they used for my toast was some of the best I've had. We had such good service and coffee refills kept coming.........You can order liquor flavored coffee or mimosas, if you wish. I took off a point because my poached eggs topping my red potato and red beet hash were not runny enough. This place is a neighborhood gem and if I lived in the area I would be a regular. My niece lives nearby and she discovered it. I even bought a small piece of art on display! I have food photos but I can't add them to this new listing. Too bad.

Service in this joint is the worst I have ever experienced. Wait staff is incredibly rude. Been in the industry myself over 20 years, I know how to be a good customer (so it wasn’t that I was rude) gave them a chance and stayed close to 30 minutes at a table the sat me at and waited for order to be taken or even some acknowledgment I was even there. They walked past me many times without a word. You want to be treated like crap, this is a good place to experience that. Take your business somewhere else, there are lots of great breakfast restaurants in Portland and surrounding.

This is is small place full of character and excellent food, I believe it's more popular with locals than tourists. They have best breakfast and biscuit to die for, Owner is a Young guy who is very hands on and best customer service you imagine, super helpful and nice. If visiting Portland make a phone call before you go there it is popular with locals and if you are not on waiting list will wait for long time,

Great breakfast spot for small parties (2-3). They have 2 tables that will seat 4-6. Amazing biscuits. Great service. Biscuits are better then pine states.

This is a great place to get creative dishes. We stumbled upon this great find. The service was not only friendly but had options and recommendations. I have allergies and our server guided me to a great dish. You may have to wait for a table, but it is well worth it.

Along time ago this location was a coffee shop, and then a Japanese restaurant, and now it's become a trendy breakfast place. The space is long and narrow with not a lot of seating. And it is a bit on the loud side. They close at 2:00 p.m., and only have breakfast food. I arrived a little before noon, put our name on the list, and waited outside. (I brought a book.) Within ten minutes or so, they had a table for us, and I went inside. The menu is on one small piece of paper. If you don't like eggs or meat, your choices are slim. I got granola ... and it was absolutely the best granola I've had out at a restaurant ever. Yummy! My friend liked her skillet dish just as much as I liked my selection. There were a couple glitches with the service: no spoon for my friend, the milk curdled when she put it into the tea she ordered, etc. The service was friendly, but I felt was still ironing out the kinks. I would go back again ... for sure!

While at the Fremont Fest in the Beaumont neighborhood of Portland, we saw a restaurant with a line outside...which often is the best of recommendations. Oh, the logo is a whimsical Boston Terrier with a spatula in its mouth...so it had to be good! After spending time in line talking with folks, we were had an idea of what we wanted...we ordered a Bacon and Spinach skillet and a Florentine Benedict both of which were amazing...fresh, rich in flavor, obviously fresh ingredients all complimented by excellent service. It was a treat to find this restaurant... While enjoying our brunch, I better understood the line outside since the restaurant seats about 20 or so customers. I wonder what happens on rainy days?

Delicious food and great coffee! Discovered this restaurant well on a working trip to Portland with my boss. We had such a good experience we ate here both mornings. We sampled almost everything on the menu and you enjoyed everything. High-quality ingredients and a lot of care goes into what they put on your plate. Great customer service by the owner who went out of his way to make sure we had coffee to go each day!

A tiny hole-in-the-wall place, specializing in brunch--yes, even on weekdays! Features bennies, scrambles, biscuit sandwiches and other mostly eggy items at fair prices. Both my husband and I enjoyed the huevos benedictos very much. The owner was very friendly, greeting everyone coming and going. The place is not huge--perhaps 10 tables--but charming and excellent service. We'll be back!

Small, quaint, cozy place to have brunch or breakfast. Fantastic menu, beautiful presentation of the food and it was very yummy. Definitely have to visit this establishment.

Many know the fabulous bread and such coming out of Grand Central Bakery, but few know about how amazing their Halla bread is when made into French Toast at the Little Griddle. Add a side of eggs, and you are ready for the day.

Great little breakfast place. Good coffee, great skillet. The wait was a bit long but worth it, especially since there was benches and free coffee outside.

A tiny, out of the box thinking, place for breakfast. Feeling up for eggs benedict with a twist? How about forgoing the greasy potatoes for a healthy bit of kale salad? The coffee is great, the staff is amazing, and it is a sure-fire walk-to, in a great neighborhood.

I’ve eaten a lot of breakfasts, and breakfast at Little Griddle this morning was one of the absolute best. Item one was a bacon, egg, and cheese biscuit sandwich: perfect biscuit, buttery with crisp edges, an over-medium egg, melting cheese, and homemade pepper jam, all served piping hot. Item two was huevos benedictos, with a chili spiced pork shoulder complemented by avocado and spiced Hollandaise. Breakfast entrees come with perfectly dressed greens, and the coffee was wonderful. Small with no traditional dishes like pancakes. Love this place!

Good food, friendly service, good coffee. Everything you need to start your day. I had Eggs Florentine.

Very homey little place, we were seated immediately on a Saturday morning( 900am). I had the Bacon& Spinach skillet and my friend enjoyed the Bacon Cheddar Hash skillet. Both seriously delicious and the biscuit was perfect and they each came with a nice sized side salad. Service was quick/ friendly and we never felt rushed. Total mom& pop vibes with maybe 10 tables and a little counter. Highly recommend, the food is on another level.

I ate here with my brother and it was very good. When we arrived we had to wait about 15 minutes because they were full, but soon had a table. The sandwich board sign has a cute dog with a spatula in its mouth on it. My brother ordered a benedict and I ordered a egg, bacon, and cheese biscuit. The meal was very good, the service was good, and the owners were friendly and came out and talked to us. A good place to eat, just make sure you get there before the crowds.

Everything fixed just right for a good traditional bacon, eggs, toast breakfast. It was busy so a little wait but quick service after we were seated. Neat little burg area to walk around while we waited. Would definitely recommend.

Had an amazing breakfast here. Simple, yet delicious. Fresh ingredients, quality ingredients, healthy options, great service.

Polenta topped with grilled vegetables and balsamic vinegar was creative, savory and well balanced texture and flavors yummy!
Tiny Place with a Big Taste
This is the Hole in the wall that you have been looking for. Saturday & Sunday Breakfast spot. It does not seat very many so arrive when they open
