I ordered breakfast cold under cooked what is this the fries also under cooked and cold coffee a few days old!!!!

Little Pete's has been kind of a tradition in Philly for years and they serve great standard diner food. If you are looking to feed a lot of hungry people this is the spot for you.

Have eaten here numerous times over the years. The food is usually good. It has a very extensive menu with a long list of daily specials. They deliver locally which is good as there are many elderly people who cannot make it to the restaurant.

We were visiting Philadelphia, rocky steps, and decided to eat there before. Lots of older people, very friendly atmosphere and food was unexpected great!) i ordered french onion soup and philly cheese steak and both were huge and delicious. Soup was even better than in french restaurant and only 5$. Highly recommend 5+

Lovely restaurant in town, nice and tasty food, variety of selection, wonderful service, reasonable price, cash only

We were hungry after going to the PMA and found this place close by. Honestly I wasn't really impressed by the food but our waitress was very nice. Probably won't see me back here as the food was only okay.

Last week my college-aged daughter and I met friends from Pittsburgh at the Philadelphia Museum of Art to see the Capucci exhibition and then catch up over lunch. The restaurant at the museum was packed, and the cafeteria wasn't exactly a spot to sit and chat, so we headed out of the museum in search of lunch. Across from the Perelman building we found Little Pete's. A great choice! If you want fancy food, try elsewhere. All four of us choose different lunch specials that were $8.95 and $9.95 for a cup of soup and unlimited refills on drinks along with the main course. My daughter's chicken Caesar salad was fresh looking as was my delicious new Little Pete's salad with chicken, mushrooms, bacon bits, egg and much more. My friends went for the spinach pie--two huge pieces plus rice and the quintessential Philadelphia cheesesteak, something that Pittsburgh apparently is lacking. Our waitess, yes, I am calling her a waitress and not a server!! was very attentive and organized. Did we want another "diet"? Did we need our plates cleared? All the while we were able to socialize with my friends in very plain but pleasant surroundings. We discovered Little Pete's by accident, but I would definitely go back after another museum visit. Good food, good value, good deal!

Friendly, attentive staff. Basic diner food. Reasonably priced compared to many "fancy" restaurants in the area.

Management and servers are RUDE. Food is mediocre at best. The menu is huge, so that is an indication to me that most of the food started out as frozen. There are plenty of real restaurants in the neighborhood, no reason to go to Little Pete's. I guess some people, who like a lot of food for little money, don't mind bad service. That does not work for me.

I have not had chipped beef gravy for breakfast for years. Oh my, it was rich, it was flavorful and it was just wonderful. The hubbys eggs Benedict disappeared immediately. This place is yummy.

They have great food at an affordable price: meal for 2 below $20. You need to pay a $4 extra to share a day's special, but they bring it in two plates and with 2 bowls of soup. I tend to dislike food with pepper, but I gave it a try when they said that the chicken was pre-seasoned. Well, they really know how to use pepper (and this is rare). I just dont give a 5 because they forget about your beverage after they bring your food (and I went there twice).

Located in the Philadelphian, just off the Parkway, Little Pete’s is a great place for a comfortable and homey breakfast, lunch or dinner. They deliver too. There are so many items to choose from- it’s like a diner menu. We eat here often. Yummy daily specials, soups and veggies. So far the only thing I don’t care for is the Eggs Benedict which comes with a strange cheese sauce. Where’s the hollandaise?

OMG. I love this place it feels so old school. They still have the meat, potatoes, and veggie, bread, soup or salad for one price dinner menu. My Grandmom and Aunts love a place like this.

Been here many times over the years and the place and the staff never let you down. I told them I did not eat Cheese and the let me watch my meal being cooked truly a place I love and is a must visit. Your review will hopefully just back mine up.

Wow, Little Pete's, a favorite haven for bands. I spent many a late night there snacking on something bready after interviewing a band. I always remember no one bothered us for hours.

It's always a good sign to me of a great find when a place is filled with the local retirees and police! I chose this for breakfast because of the picture of the eggs Benedict. It did not disappoint. Fast, friendly service. Fabulous hollandaise sauce, crispy bacon.

Thinking of a different Little Pete's in center city. Everyone raves about this spot, but it is dirty.

We have come here after the Philadelphia Museum of Art two or three times a year for several years. Today will be our last visit. The price for the nova lox platter has gone up again, to $15.95, and the lox portion has again decreased. My picture shows tomatoes, Greek olives, and cucumbers artfully placed on the platter. Today, items were pretty much just stuck on the plate. Then there was our server. We have always had very good service from these diner waitresses and have tipped generously as a result. Today's server asked my husband if he wanted the special. He asked what it was: corned beef sandwich with Russian dressing and a small side of coleslaw. He said no, he would just take the sandwich, and we would get a regular size side order of cole slaw (as we have always done in the past). When his food came out, he received the sandwich and a small side of cole slaw. We told our server we were confused--what happened to side of cole slaw? She took exception to our question and said she had only charged him 50 cents for the mini cole slaw and she could get us a side of cole slaw. So why did she change the order? We declined when she said was $3.50, another increase. The corned beef was very blah, lacking in flavor and not particularly tender. It also didn't help that she went back to the servers' station and complained about us, which I could see and hear from my seat. Next time, we will just eat at the museum.

The greasiest greasy spoon ever.

Every time I am in town I invariably have at least one meal here. The best part is you can split a meal and still have trouble eating it all. I enjoy all the dishes and our servers are very friendly and seem to know most of the people.

Went to Little Pete's years ago when they were in Center City Philadelphia. I just discovered them again in The Philadelphian Condominiums across from the Art Museum. Food was good, staff was nice and they have a small bar so you can get Mimosas, etc., with your brunch, and I assume drinks with your dinner if you're interested. Just know that it can be very noisy if you go during peak hours... and the tables are really close.

Friendly service - had a Gyro and my companion had Eggplant Parmesan. Full bar too. About 2 blocks from the Museum in an apartment building

I realized when we were at Little Pete's today that I haven't done a review since 2011. We have lunch at Little Pete's when we go to the Philadelphia Museum of Art. On a Sunday late morning/early afternoon, they are especially busy with brunch and lunch trade, but we are always seated quickly. During the summer, it is an especially hopping place with the outdoor seating in addition to the regular indoor seating. My favorite is the nova lox platter with toasted rye bread instead of a bagel. Beautiful to look at and delicious to eat! My husband goes for the turkey sandwich, and we share some cole slaw. Prices are reasonable, and service is generally excellent. Even though we come only now and then, the waitresses (yes, that is the correct term at Little Pete's!) do seem to remember us and our order. Little Pete's is probably one of the few places I don't get annoyed/offended when someone calls me "hon." We definitely prefer Little Pete's over the pretentious, expensive food at the museum. Cash only. They do have a full bar. And for the bathroom, you need to get a key and go down a hall in the building to I guess what is a shared bathroom? It isn't the nicest bathroom, to say the least, so I always use the bathroom at the art museum before leaving!

Convenient, freshly made, tasty comfort food. I have been there many times with my friend who lives in the building. The best of "fast food!"

Neat little place. You almost expect to see Flo come out from the kitchen to take your order when you walk in! The menu is huge and a mix of American diner food and Greek. Nothing too fancy, just as it should be for the setting. Just plain, simple good food.

Spent Thanksgiving with my aunt and uncle and went to Little Pete's for Thanksgiving dinner. I've been to Little Pete's in the Philadelphian before and it was fine. This time, it was such a disappointment. First no Thanksgiving menu. Though there might have been and our server, who was deficient in every respect, just didn't give one to us. At any rate, we all ordered soup first, then turkey and stuffing, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The waiter got the soup order wrong, but OK. Not a problem. The turkey -- one dark meat and two white meat -- was OK, but the stuffing was awful and the mashed potatoes were watery. There were five spindly pieces of asparagus on each side plate. We all had a glass of wine and had trouble getting the waiter's attention to get another glass of wine, which we decided was necessary as the dinner was so awful. Then the waiter came around with the check. Uh, don't we get dessert? Waiter said yeah. Whaddya want. We all chose pie. No coffee was offered. Which was OK as at this point we just wanted to get out of there. .

The first true american breakfast i ever had and it was awesome. Delish food and great place to go with family or even alone. Very friendly staff and the price is a bit high, but worthy. I want to come back again :)

I've gone past this place dozens of times but never much noticed it because it's tucked away. The menu was big and the restaurant was festvely decorated for the holidays. I didn't order any fancy or unusual, just standard breakfast fare, though I was pleased. Our server was surprisingly not very friendly and was rather abrupt, but all of the other employees seemed nice.

It was getting late for lunch and decided to look on Google Maps for a place to have lunch. We love the diner-style kind of restaurants, so decided to go to Little Pete's (super close to the Museum of Art and Rocky statue). The experience was great! Super friendly waitress, pretty quick service, and the food was surprisingly good. We got the chicken parmesan sandwich and a side of sweet potato fries

I've been to Little Pete's on a handful of occassions, but have to say hands-down, is the best late night stop. Casual diner, hearty food, decent prices. Just have to watch for the late-night crowd, as it is a staple for anyone getting out of the local bars. I've also stopped in for brunch and was not disappointed. Service is fast and friendly. Would definitely do it again.

It was the only place open in the afternoon and it happened to be a very good diner. The extensive menu was a real surprise. The food was good, much better than at a usual diner and at decent prices. The waitress was most helpful, attentive and nimble. And the place is close to the museum.

Good diner. Everybody got a little bit of everything and everyone was happy. We had mozzarella sticks, shrimp cocktail, greek salad, gyro, soup, crabcakes & more. I'd love to go back for breakfast. ..

I have been eating at Little Pete's every weekend formthe past few years. mynfather in law moved into the building and we meet and grab a meal. At first glance, most will be distracted by the diner feel, but its all about what you order. #1 Chicken soup is crazy good. Whitefish salad, chicken pot pie, if its comfort food, its good! The other thing, is the servers are wonderful! They bust their butts, never stop moving, and are sweet as pie. Oh yeah, try the pie. Cheap eats, but great value. You can bring the kids, grandma, and during the summer, the dog. Everyone will be happy.

Very hungry after walking steps of Museum of Art and wanted something close by that was open before 10 AM, so Google searched and Little Pete’s was where we walked. Very busy and welcoming! Ordered breakfast and although nothing fancy, it hit the spot. It is located inside the Philadelphian.

My mother-in-law lives in the Philadelphian, so we took her there for lunch (she goes there all the time but it was my first visit). Comfort food menu. Waitress was fast but not friendly. Large portions. Food was good but not great.

Good basic diner food. Very good waitresses who are very friendly. Good service. Tasty daily specials with typical diner type menu. Plain atmosphere. Convenient to art museum.

There are 2 Little Pete's in Philadelphia. We ate at the one located on the ground floor of a large condominium building neat the Museum of Art. It was excellent in every respect. A genuine family owned and operated dinner right in the city. The omelets we had were well prepared and tasty. None of the food had that too- greasy taste that is characteristic of a bad diner. Service was friendly and very attentive. Even the coffee was a cut above typical dinner coffee. The entire restaurant is completely authentic and does not pretend to be anything other than what it is. If I lived in Philadelphia I would be a regular at Little Pete's.

Very unsatisfied with the service. We were treated like tourists that they won’t see again and at the end we got over charged for meals. on the way home, my little one and I stopped by for my birthday lunch on Mother’s Day. Tuna was ok but it was served without any sauce and without a roll which was part of the menu deal. I wanted to order things from kid’s menu since I was with a kid but we were told that we can’t bring it home and have to pay the full adult price. Then they tried to charge us dinner price for meals, although we ate at lunch time. this dining experience didn’t ruin my birthday but I won’t support this local place any more. Bye bye Pete’s.

We had a hard time making our choice, the meals were more focused on breakfast. But we have taken the chicken fingers. HO WOW, very good, as if they were homemade and a big plate. The waitresses had difficulty smiling.

I was here with my family over the holidays. It;s not posh, but comfrotable and great value. The food is excellent, and there is a ton of choice. The daily specials are very extensive, something for every palate, and for a fixed price you can have soup or salad, a main, two sides, dessert, and a drink. I doubt very many people finish it all and they are friendly about bringing containers to take home the extras. Our server was excellent - she was efficient, got every detail right, and remained cheerful even though it was VERY busy in her section.

Awful food. Awful coffee, awful service! Dirty table, Unhappy waitress tossing down menu, subpar food, and dirty dishrag tasting coffee. Not that cheap either for such a mediocre place.

I had the best cheeseburger I have ever had in my sixty-two years of life and eating. The hamburger was real hamburger with the texture and taste of a burger fit for a King. It was well seasoned and flavorful. Adding Pepper Jack cheese on it added a sensational tasting combination. The dill pickle side was fresh and delicious as well as the chips that I selected as my second side. I cannot wait to have this burger again. Thank you Little Pete's for renewing my love for real hamburger.

The coffee was very good as were the omelets. But the french toast with fruit was the best! Oh my gosh, challah bread. The prices were way under $10 pp and was served quickly. For some crazy reason I was very impressed with our waitresses well manicured nails considering she worked in a fast paced dirty hands kind of place.

is this the one across the street from the radisson? i can never remember the address b/c i always rolled in wasted. THE BEST!

I enjoyed our meal very much at Little Pete's. It is in walking distance from the art museum and we stopped by to have omelettes and coffee. The omelettes were delicious as well as the home fries and toast. Coffee tasted a little old, but we managed. The service was good and the atmosphere was good enough. I would go back again!

Really love breakfast at this place. You could pay less at Wawa or other grab n' go type places, but it's not the same. Little Pete's home fries are the best, omelettes are excellent. Service is friendly and the menu is huge. A basic breakfast of scrambled eggs, home fries, toast and coffee was $14 for the two of us. They also have lunch and dinner, but we mainly go there for breakfast.

Visited this diner every day for breakfast. Good food and very reasonably priced. Also very friendly staff. Would return to Philly just to eat here again.

Place to visit after the bars close. This is the only diner in center city philly that I've visted and I can't complain.

Unpretentious décor, but fabulous gourmet food. Including prime steaks and lamb chops, jumbo lump crab, and fresh lobster tails. Simply incredible!

Love Little Pete's! Its my go to place for a quick meal.Home cooking at a good price. The best REAL turkey sandwich ever. From pancakes to homestyle soups are all tasty at Petes

Stopped here for a 6pm Friday dinner. I think the restaurant must be near a retirement community because we were the youngest guests in there by about 40 years. The service was pretty good despite how busy the place was. I ordered the chicken parm on a sandwich and wasn't hungry enough to finish it, but it was very good. My boyfriend ordered a burger and said it was good. They bring bread to your table prior to your entree and the portion sizes for the meals are huge. I would recommend this place but don't set your expectations too high.

I really enjoy the environment and the food in this place, is just amazing the way the staff treats us, makes us feel so special. Thank You

I eat at Pete's on a regular basis and although it is frequently crowded, I am able to get seated quickly and searved in a timely manor. The choices are many, service is quick and the quantity is excellent

We stopped here after visiting Eastern State Penitentiary for dinner. We didn't have to wait long and the food was good.

Step back a few years and enjoy a wonderful meal from an experienced crew. Place filled with locals excited by the mingling opportunity. Our waitress was amazing on breakfast selection and chatting. The meal was filling and perfect. Excellent value as well. Great to see photo of Sylvester Stallone’s on the wall.

My aunt and uncle used to live in the Philadelphian in Center City and least always meet them at Little Petes as it was attached right to the building. You can get into it through the lobby or there is a door outside with parking. The food was really good and the service was exceptional. They gave all of us a lot to eat and had plenty left over for leftovers. I highly recommend this restaurant!

Located in a large residential building this diner like restaurant serves both residents and outsiders. Since it is so close to the Art Museum it is worth noting. The menu is large and the portions are the same. As noted by others there is some drama among the staff but they do deliver even a large table of orders quickly and efficiency. The food was fine and the sharing charge well worth the $4 since it included a second cup of soup, second dessert and coffee for two.

Great breakfast! Lightning fast service and a real “diner” experience. My wife and I are health food nuts but every now and then we fall off the wagon. Little Pete's makes it worthwhile. We ate like pigs for around $12 The employees have a feel of roughhewn blue collar folks but it is part of the “ambiance”. Our waitress was not exactly Miss Personality but was efficient and got our order exactly right and it was out in a flash. Coffee cups filled inless than one minute. Don’t expect to see any celebs there but if you want a very good straight forward American meal this is your place.

Possibly the BEST Philly Cheese Steak in town! We found this adorable diner on the last day of our visit. The staff are super friendly and treat visitors like family. We woke up early the next day before our plane left just so we could go there for breakfast on our way out. They are open 24 hours! Tip: They have Lox on their lunch menu but not their breakfast menu. If you ask - they will make it for you. Thank you for the amazing food in a clean, unique vintage environment. A must do downtown.

Food was good— a little pricey. Service was a bit flakey, but did its job. One of the people in charge was yelling at some servers when we left, which made for good theatre. Can’t complain.

The Quality of food very low, the presentation equal and the Service bad nothing professional, bring us the bill to the table before asking if we wanted coffee or dessert

The restaurant is a good choice if you are visiting the nearby art museum. There is an extensive menu and you can dine inside or outside. The food was reasonably priced and tasty. I recommend the assorted Greek sampler with salad, souvlaki, pita, yogurt and gyro. My husband had the roast pork and it was also a good choice. The service was friendly and efficient.

Pleasant eatery w/ bar, quite clean, and comfortable. Obviously popular among local families. Food was quite good. My crabcake sandwich was tasty, split pea soup was excellent. I wasn't crazy about the fries, but my dining companions loved 'em. Coffee was on par for the E Coast--not great. Service was brisk, efficient & great. Prices quite reasonable. Very solid choice if one's in the area.

Enjoyed the mix of middle eastern food in a hoppin' busy place. We had 16 in our group and we were served quickly and the food was hot and very good. Gotta try the apple pie with the ice cream. We relaxed and had a wonderful time catching up with family. We were there at dinner hour and the place was packed. But the service was exceptional.

We always eat breakfast here first before visiting the Philly Museum. It is a small venue with a nice menu for affordable eats. They also have outdoor seating in good weather.

Little Petes is mainly for the budget conscious..no other reason to eat this food

their food is certainly not gourmet. their nightly specials which include salad, soup, beverage, dessert, main dish with vegetables is a terrific bargain.

Had a nice outdoor lunch. Near the Art Museum in Philly the service was attentive and the food tasty and in large portions. Huge menus, especially with breakfast items, but usual large menu with typical diner/ deli food. Good value. Bathrooms out through back of restaurant inside apartment building in which this housed.

Little Pete's is delicious at 2 am.

great breakfast place!

Good diner not far from the Museum of Art. Friendly staff and great big salads. Before that we had excellent clam chowder soup. Good address for a lunch.

Great at 3am.

Great food, service was amazing, location and atmosphere.

Central to the museum district, this place is like a little gem from my childhood. Unpretentious, friendly, comfortable. Had a nice spinach salad with added chicken and hallelujah! the chicken was actually hot off the grill and the honey lime dressing was a perfect, not sweet, complement!
Best neighborhood value
Huge menu. Reasonable prices. Seniors & kids co exist. Try the mushrooms stuffed with crabmeat. Surprisingly delicious with generous portion of real crabmeat. May need a box to take leftovers. Waitstaff knowledgeable & patient. My favorite is Maria!
