We truly enjoyed our first visit to Livingston in the beautiful Georgian Terrace Hotel, for the Christmas Day brunch. The setting is gorgeous with marble floors, columns, and staircases, all decorated with seasonal greenery. The brunch buffet had superb breakfast and dinner offerings. The prior included scrambled eggs with cheddar, bacon, chicken sausage, incredible stone ground cheese grits, peach brioche French toast, sausage gravy and biscuits, selected danish, and fresh fruit and yogurt. The dinner buffet had three wonderful salads, grilled salmon, green beans with fried onion and pancetta, roasted turkey with mash potatoes and stuffing along with giblets gravy. The dessert offerings had a great assortment of Christmas cookies, pecan pie and key lime tarts. The service was satisfactory but our server had to be asked twice to fill water glasses and disappeared at times. Other staff supported our server very well by clearing empty dishes. Overall I'd encourage others to enjoy the Livingston especially before or after events at the Fox Theater across the street.

First time for everyone in the family, so being welcomed by Monica was a big help. Monica immediately noticed that our grandmother needed to use a more accessible entrance and moved to assist. Chris, our server, also adjusted to accommodate the variety of appetites across the 7 of us.

We had a large group at two table on a Molnday night with nothing going on across the street at the Fox Theater. A varity of items were ordered, I havd thier ribeye staek, it was done as ordered and very tasty with great sides. A few others did the seafood boil and said it came out cold. Appeared to ni be consistant for a large groul, I am sure if just 2 - 4 people all would have been fine?

Worst service ever in the bar. Don’t even think about ordering food. It will never come. Came in at 3 and waited for more than 30 mins to no avail.

We returned to the Livingston for a second visit during our stay in Atlanta—this time for a late evening Dessert. My husband and I both enjoyed the food, atmosphere, and great service. I had the crème brûlée for my dessert, it was delicious! Our server LaMonte was very friendly and provided exceptional service. We highly recommend the Livingston!

I was staying next door and walked over with the fam for breakfast one day. Ambiance inside was nice, service very efficient. Breakfast was quite good. I had the eggs benedict. Waffles were also good. Decided to come the next day for breakfast as well, same experience. Seems like a good spot but I can't speak for the dinner or lunch selections. I will say the staff outside the restaurant was very friendly as well so overall the hotel seemed pretty welcoming.

My daughter and I spent the day together and were going to enjoy a show at the Fox but decided to have lunch here. We could eat and walk easily across the street. We thought it was a great solution and in actuality it was but oh there were concerns. We came in and were greeted and seated. All persons we encountered did their job but that’s all. We did have a problem when we sat down with the cleanliness of the table and the area...no problem, they fixed that problem. Today was a brunch buffet which was neatly organized and had a good grouping of diverse selections. The only thing I can say is that I think when you pay what we paid the food should be fantastic...not so. We were paying that high price because of the name of the hotel that we were at and the proximity to The Fox, I assume. Don’t get me wrong, the food was okay but did I say I could not wait for another event to come to Atlanta to visit this location...no! I really was not wowed with anything but it was okay. I could rate the beet salad good but have had better. Not sure if I will come back . For the location and price I was expecting a great deal more. I have been to another location in the city but going west off of 285. The food there always, always outstanding and it is the same general price range as here. Maybe my expectations were too high. However an ok meal and time spent with my daughter... that made it perfect.

We had a business lunch here and enjoyed the very southern menu. Succotash salad was great as was the root vegetable salad. The service was excellent and the restaurant is beautiful old south decor with a modern open vibe as well.

The dinner was delicious. Good service and quiet for a date night. Try the cauliflower and asparagus.

Our waitress Jessica was so kind and attentive she made us feel like family. The atmosphere was romantic. The food could have been better we give the food a 7 out of 10.

Had a good breakfast at this resturant. It was a decent price with deceant food. However if you have time you could probably find a better deal with better food. However if you don't want to leave the hotel then the breakfast is fair for the price.

My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our meal here before going across the street to the Fox Theater. The setting is elegant and serene, and our food was delicious. My husband loves mussels, and his were the best he's ever had. His short rib dinner was very satisfactory. I loved the beet salad and Cajun scallops. Service was attentive, but not intrusive. We look forward to returning in the future!

The service was extraordinary. We were attending a show at the Fox Theater across the street. Our meals were served promptly and the wait staff was excellent. We did not feel rushed. It was obvious that much thought went into the menu so that patrons who want to have dinner before or after an event at The Fox can be graciously served excellent food by well-trained servers in a lovely ambiance. The Livingston is top on out downtown restaurant list.

We had dinner. My husband had the fried chicken and has had much better elsewhere. I had Delmonico steak. Very salty tasting, but really tended and good. The atmosphere is unusual; the furnishings look like they came from a doctor's office while the architecture of the building is amazing. Just doesn't go well. Remember to take a sweater, jacket or some kind of cover. It is cold! Again, the service was great. I would like to see more options on the future menus.

My husband and I really enjoyed the location, ambiance, atmosphere, and service of our recent dinner here. We both had ribeye for our main entree; it was good, but didn't totally live up to the price. His was a little undercooked, more rare than medium-rare, and mine was a little overcooked, more medium, than medium-rare. For that price, you would expect perfection in re: to how your steak is cooked. Again though, we did really enjoy the atmosphere and our server was great and attentive.

Uhmazing breakfast for me and my family this morning! The grits were the best ever and my bride is an afficionado. She also loved the grilled ham and my daughter had a beautiful fruit cup. I had the American and it was just right and especially the potatoes! Diana was appropriately attentive and extra friendly. The only thing that prevented 5 stars was Sydney at the reception. She greeted us like she was mad at the world. It was 10:45 and breakfast is served until 11. She was downright hateful and told us we would new to hurry. No bueno! Everything else was superb!

We are staying at the hotel and had dinner here tonight with kids 9&12. Seriously it was one of the most pleasant dining experiences I can remember. Super attentive service and fantastic food. Even for the kids. Well done!

The entire experience has opportunities for improvement. Called to get information about parking. I had the incorrect the name of the restaurant and the receptionist had a smart retort. I was transferred to the restaurant and no one answered. Menu was not clear as to what accompanied the entrees, server was short in his responses and service was slow. Inquired about parking validation and was told that due to an event at the venue across the street that day (unrelated to hotel/restaurant), they are unable to validate. I expressed that I was only attending the restaurant in the hotel and was told, there was nothing they could do. I didn't expect that an unrelated event would affect the hotel services and there should been clear signage of that.

Went before a Fox show. They do try to get you in and out, and not in a rushed way. The menu is prefixed for Fox shows, fyi. All great ideas. Here we go-Cocktails were awful. Mixed wrong and not as ordered. They use cheap liquor so don’t expect a handcrafted cocktail, but expect to be charged for it. Food was average. Not horribly expensive, but again I question the quality of foods as well. Wine is severely overpriced. $24 for a small pour, one glass. Servers were rushed and doing too much. FREEZING COLD room temperature. Not pleasant to eat when your freezing, I noticed other people were also uncomfortably cold.

We ate brunch here this weekend and enjoy it. Our waitress Diana was AWESOME (this is understatement). We thought we just going to a restaurant to have chicken and waffles and enjoy each other company. Diana turned a basic first experience to charming history class, that we couldn't get any where else. This was not either of our first times in Atlanta, but just the advise and knowledge about the area gave both of us a different experience from the multiple times we went before. Diana recommended for us to visit the Hotel's historian Trevor, who was also great. He gave a free tour of all the historical spots in the hotel.

Like several other recent reviewers, my wife and I had tickets for Phantom of the Opera at the Fox. We got downtown early but did not realize this night was also the premier home night for the new Atlanta Soccer Team who was playing at Tech. All the restaurants on the street near the Fox was "full and overflowing". I happened to remember the Georgian Terrace had a restaurant so we walked over to see if we could get seated. The main restaurant was a beautiful setting but they reported they had no possible openings for over an hour but we could try the bar area which was on a "first come- first serve" basis. Well we were exceptionally lucky that a table near the bar was open and we took it over immediately. The bar area waitress was very attentive for the size of the crowd. We ordered wine and a couple of entrees and even had time for dessert before hoping over to the Fox for the play. We had never been to the Livingston Restaurant before, but it was a pleasant experience and unexpected pleasure. I would recommend it to all our friends when they are in the area.

My wife and I recently attended D'Capella (great performance if you get the chance to see them) at The Fox Atlanta. For convenience, we thought we would eat dinner at the Livingston Restaurant since it was just the two of us and we'd never eaten there before. We have eaten at numerous up-scale restaurants so we have some experiences to compare this dining experience to. The restaurant is conveniently located and is a beautiful vintage restaurant. However, the service was average and the food was not worth the price we paid!. Our waitress came by a minimal number of times and there were very few people dining so I can't imagine what service we would have received if there had been a crowd. We were there for 75 minutes...and probably 45 was just sitting and waiting. I ordered the salmon and chips...thinking it would be the typical smoked salmon and capers with a thin crispy bread cracker, but it literally was smoked salmon on three homemade potato chips...was also spicy though the menu didn't mention a spice. My wife had the beet salad which she did enjoy. Our steaks were cold and improperly cooked- in much need of flavor/seasoning. The asparagus was thick and chewy...the potato wedges were dry. The meal certainly wasn't worth the price they charged. I think they think because of the atmosphere, a higher price should be charged...but I wasn't paying for vintage. I expect great food at that price...but was sadly disappointed! We won't return.

Only went here once or twice after they renovated it from the original Georgia Terrace back in '09 or '10 or so, and it was silly then, with a cheap riff on a tired Ian Shrager wannabe thing. But they did have decent wines and cocktail service at that point. Came to ATL for some biz and had a stop in. WOW, it dove down hard. I've had better service at airport bars, and better choices of beer/wine. The five staff that were on were more interested in loud talking to each other than taking our bill, which we couldn't pay fast enough to get the heck out of there. It also smelled like those bar mats hadn't been cleaned in some time, and the chrome of the liquor racks was mostly greasy fingerprints and gloop. Super gross.

We arrived at the Livingston Restaurant at 6p, ordered, enjoyed our cocktails, had a delicious pre-theatre meal and were in our seats at the Fox Theatre well before the 7:30p start time! I was so impressed, and didn't feel rushed at all. Consider the "Frankly My Dear" craft cocktail: black cherry zodiac vodka, pomegranate sour, royal combiner toped with orange mango soda, and a rosemary sprig--served on the rocks; entre: "Blacked Carolina Trout" with sautéed spinach. Great way to begin an evening of theatre.

We tried this place for a special event. It took the waiter over 20 minutes to deliver our drink order and then another 15 more to take our order. The place was not even half full. We then received our food 1 hour and 10 minutes after we placed the order. The waiter blamed everything on the kitchen even though other tables that were seated 45 minutes after us received appetizers which were the same as what we ordered. We finally got our appetizer after complaining twice. It was over cooked and mushy. We should have left like the 4 tables around us did after they sat there for 45 minutes without even having a drink order taken, yes they had the same waiter as us. Well 3 minutes after getting our appetizer, our meal showed up. They had tiny portions and it too was over cooked. We received the check and there was a 20% tip added on it and items we did not order. We asked to speak to the manager and she never came over. When I approached her to speak to her, she hurried into a backroom and never came back out. It took the waiter 20 minutes to remove the items from our bill but not the 20% tip. So, I removed it and left him $2.00 tip. This was the worse meal and dining experience we have ever had in 55 years. My meal was 1 spare rib, 3 slivers of carrots and one cold large tater tot thing. It was $34.00 and over cooked. Wife's meal was a 2in. x 2in. wedge of fish with not much else. It was overcooked and bland. And for a Southern Dining experience, they had no iced tea! Not sure how they stay in business except it is a place to be seen near the Historic Fox.

Perfect for before or after show drinks or dining. Light fare or regular meals. Full bar. Across street from theater. Parking available, too. Reasonable prices.

Probably chose the wrong things but the fact that it was empty demonstrates that it is not the best. Service however, excellent.

Very good atmosphere. Food was good and fresh. Our presence was acknowledged upon being seated and was served promptly.

We used the venue for our daughter's blessing party. Taquitta, Richard, Oris and Emily were all excellent. We felt like royalty the way we were served. They went above my wildest dreams about great service.

The food is amazing, the staff is courteous and efficient. They are keenly aware of the show schedules and served us quickly.

We had dinner booked here before a show at The Fox for our anniversary. In 1.5 hours we never received our dinner. Thank goodness our waiter brought us a salad which we had not ordered. We left before our food arrived and paid $80 for our drinks. It would have been $40 but our waiter brought our 2d glass of wine as we were leaving. Try somewhere else before a show at the Fox.

We enjoyed a great breakfast with our guests at Livingston's on Sunday morning before we all headed home!

Let me start by saying this - My husband and I have such a sour taste in our mouths after visiting this place yesterday that it's not even funny. We made reservations for Easter Brunch at 4:30 pm. When I initially called to make the reservation for 3:30 pm, I specifically asked the lady on the phone if it was worth it to even come late. She says yes, so we pushed it back to 4:30 pm thru OpenTable since she also informed us that dinner would be available an hour after seating. This was later reiterated last weekend when a guy called us to confirm, again, at 4:30 pm. I called 3 hours prior to our arrival time to ask if we could come in at 3:30 pm. The RUDE woman on the phone says, no we can't because 700 were expected and refused to even ask the restaurant itself. She abruptly hung up the phone without as much as a "have a good day". Now, we arrived at 4:15 pm and were told "our reservation would be honored because we were late as our reservation was at 3:30 pm, but we would only have until 4:45 pm to eat because they're breaking down at that time." So, I guess the manager and hostess wanted to argue that it was MY mistake, not theirs, that our reservations were later than they wanted because they were ready to go home. After a while, they decided to offer a half hearted apology. Okay, fine we've already wasted our time to get there and there's nothing much more we can do since everything else is either booked or closed. We go in and mind you, they're still bringing our fresh food at 4:50 pm. The server says we have until 5 pm to grab food. Really? We were told otherwise. The server asked us for our drink orders and stated that it was apart of the meal. No worries, right? WRONG. We were charged $3 per drink for an upcharge total of $15 for a family of 5. Then, at 5:05 pm, they started breaking down everything as expected. We were told we could enjoy our meal. The server rudely placed TWO glasses of each drink ordered on our table on top of several plates of food scattered about because again, we were under the impression we had to grab as much as we needed to before all the food went bye bye. After she kept "checking in" on our table, there was yet another server circling around our table looking for plates and glasses to take like a vulture. I mean, seriously, come on. We don't need you coming over here every 3-5 minutes. It was 5:20 pm by this point and we were over it. The server brought our bill to us and had the nerve to say, "I only charged your oldest son as a kid. Happy Easter." Excuse me? He's 12 years old. Yes, he's a little tall and stocky for his age, but now you're going to insult my child because he doesn't look like a kid, so you thought you were doing me a favor? Girl, please. My husband was so pissed. We will never come back to this dump. The food was even worth the $40 they charged for it. Macaroni and cheese was too salty. Collard greens were sweet, chicken was dried out, quiche looked like yellow hockey pucks, au jus tasted more like beef gravy, and that was just the beginning. I will be contacting the restaurant manager to let him/her know about this poor experience. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE and go someplace else!

The Livingston Restaurant, situated within the vaulted ceilings of the historic Georgian Terrace Hotel, is a credit to the establishment's rich historical legacy and contemporary cosmopolitan appeal. The Georgian Terrace is a visually unique destination, both opulent and inviting, and features superb classical architectural accents including turreted corners, floor-to-ceiling Palladian-styled windows, grand staircases, and expansive wrap-around columned terraces. The Livingston Restaurant is located to the right after entering the hotel lobby. The main restaurant and bar space adjoins the spectacular grand ballroom, which is where the incredible buffet is located. The service is exceptional and the food is delicious! The holiday buffets are replete with traditional holiday dishes and savory surprises that add a special touch to the dining experience. You'll find fabulous roast turkey and all the trimmings, as well as slow roasted NY strip, poached shrimp, Canadian salmon, diverse side dishes, desserts and more. The restaurant has a full bar and extensive wine selection, and true Southern iced-tea. Amanda and her staff are wonderful, generous hosts who exceed expectations. Beyond their professionalism, the folks at Livingston Restaurant find genuine delight in offering their guests that classic "Southern hospitality" that Atlanta is renowned for. We were fortunate to see Burgundy at the carving station again, as we have the past 6 years, and were also fortunate to make new friends of Diana, Timothy, David, and many other kind folks who worked hard to make everyone's holiday very special. Thank you all for this incredible experience! While holidays are especially wonderful, I also highly recommend the Livingston restaurant at any time of the year!

I made reservations for an early pre-show dinner. We could take our time enjoy our outing without children and then walk across the street to our show. We started off with cocktails and the Salmon chips which were really good. Then we had another cocktail and ordered dinner, this is where Livingston fails. I had the beef short rib and my wife had the scallop creole. The scallop creole is a twist on shrimp and grits, but fails miserably. With 2 neutral flavor items in the grits and scallops you would expect more andouille sausage for flavor. Nope, there was half a piece of andouille sausage and no flavor in the dish at all. The beef short ribs as well were bland in flavor. The only saving grace was the jalapeno pimento cheese in the potatoes. The nutella oreo mudpie wasn't bad. However I would tone down the chocolate and let nutella be prominent. The banana gelato was the best thing on the dessert menu. Overall for the price I would not go back to Livingston again. It is unremarkable and uninspiring in the food area. There are much better options at this price point in Atlanta.

Had a wonderful meal here. The fish was delicious and the soup was amazing. Sides and desert were also very good. Service was excelent.

The building is an absolutely beautiful, historic location. The food for our Easter Brunch was delicious. Everything was a good temp and the selection was very good. We had reservations for 12 and the restaurant confirmed our number a couple of days before. When we arrived, our table (an "8 top") was only set for 11 and there seemed to be a bit of confusion about adding another chair or dividing the party. Thankfully we had several children so we could squeeze another chair but it was tight and would have been uncomfortable if the party was 12 adults. The servers were very nice but we cleared some of our own plates to return to the buffet and had to request refills of water and drinks - the restaurant was not overly busy. Because of the quality of the food, we would definitely recommend the restaurant but they have room for improvement in these other areas.

Had really good food and the service was great as well. Covid put a damper on the full dining experience, but the staff made up for it in all ways.

Ehren took great care of us during our visit to Livingston Restaurant. We were there to celebrate our friend’s promotion and Ehren went above and beyond to make our visit special! Dinner was incredible and drinks were expertly mixed. Plus, we appreciated his recommendation on other local attractions for our stay!

I dined at this establishment on 5/29 before heading across the street to The Fox Theater to watch a performance. The restaurant is within walking distance to many downtown attractions. The wait staff are professional and the food and drinks are very good. I had bourbon glazed shrimp from the small bites menu and roasted beet salad, which were both very good. The cocktails are a little watered down; not much alcohol and lots of ice. We sat on the patio with a view of Peachtree St and The Fox Theater. The restaurant validates parking which is a rarity downtown. I will definitely dine at The Livingston before catching a show in town again in the future.

We have eaten here multiple times before seeing a play at the Fox (across the street). Limited menu but we have enjoyed everything we have ordered.

Sat at the bar during business trip and LaMonte was exceptional. Effortlessly friendly and accommodating to every guest at the bar (despite some high maintenance requests), he was attentive, talented at crafting any cocktail imaginable, extremely personable and made my dining experience feel like a dinner during vs work event.

We made a reservation here for 5:15pm on a Thursday evening before seeing a show at the Fox at 7:30pm. We were seated on the second level overlooking the Fox. The food was very good and so were the drinks. For a fruity drink, I recommend the 'Frankly My Dear.' The service was quick and we enjoyed our experience.

My family and I had a wonderful pre-theater dinner at Livingston. The smoked salmon chips and wild mushroom truffle Mac and cheese were very good appetizers. Our sever, Ozge was amazing! Very attentive to every need and answered all of our questions. Great atmosphere to get just drinks or a nice dinner. Highly recommend!

Well, in order for a restaurant to be considered exquisite, look at the fine details. The caffe latte wad heated at 1000 C degrees, probably on the sun surface. Even after 15 min it was untouchable! The hotest milk protein instant destroy on earth. I think now, a few days later, it is still burning. The chicken I've ordered was less tasteful than a street shop. On the bright site, the place is esthetic and service fine. This is why I've increased by 50% rating from 2, which it is based on food quality, to 3 stars.

We had a simply delicious breakfast at a great table looking over at the Fox Theatre. Our waiter was excellent, Chris S., we highly recommend the restaurant and our waiter.

I was sceptical about eating at the hotel restaurant, but from the moment we walked in the door until we left the staff was exceptionally friendly. My wife and I both had the Delmonico, our chef Amir cooked them to perfection and our server Timothy provided outstanding service. I would definitely eat here again.

Came Because It Was Across From The Fox. The Menu Was Limited & We Wasn’t So Sure Why. Our Sever Ehren Highly Suggested It & I Saw Why Once The Restaurant Was Busy! Ehren Suggestions were GREAT down to the Miduri Sour Which Was Green For Wicked! The Salmon Wasnt Cooked Enough But Ehren Made It Right. Id Def Go Back!

LaMonte was hands down best bartender ever. The drinks were phenomenal. Isaiah and Rah made sure we were taken care of. Will be back for sure!!

Great Christmas Buffet! The setting of the Livingston Restaurant is in the beautiful Georgian Terrace Hotel, which set the tone for our Christmas Buffet. They had all of the traditional brunch items... eggs, breakfast meats, french toast, biscuits, fresh fruit and many more. In addition they had salmon, turkey, stuffing, fried chicken, veggies, and assorted desserts. Everything tasted great and for a large buffet all of the hot food was hot when you selected them. For $25, on Christmas Day it was a bargain for quality food. Service was attentive and friendly.

First off, the atmosphere here is great. Remains of an old civil war era mansion are apparent in the fine marble staircase and the walls. Great balcony with private rooms and bathrooms upstairs. Best scallops I've ever had. Other dishes also looked super. Our salmon chips delicious as is the beet salad. All very enjoyable!

Top to bottom, our experience here was pretty awful. As we parked in self parking, we were given the option of “are you going to an event at the Fox for $50 parking or are you a hotel guest,” so we selected the hotel guest option. There were no signs posted telling us what the hourly parking rates were. Also, because there was an event at the Fox today, the typical 3 hour validation you usually get when dining at the Livingston isn’t available. I went to the front desk of the hotel to ask the woman behind the counter how much hourly parking was. She said she didn’t know and I should ask the valet (how’s that for customer service?). At this point, another woman came over who also didn’t know the answer but went to find out. I was told the first hour is $10, 2nd hour total is $15, and $20 for all day, yet when we exited the deck, we were charged $50 for event parking, even though we had selected hotel guest parking. Now for the restaurant. We had reservations and approached the host stand. After a couple minutes, a server came over and seated us. There were 3 servers taking care of the entire restaurant with a manager or food runner running food. These servers were responsible for setting tables, busing tables and seating people, as there was no host - but there’s an automatic 20% gratuity, which almost always means service is terrible, and this was no exception. After sitting for a few minutes, our server came over and just asked if he could take our order. Didn’t introduce himself, so I’m not able to leave a name in this review. My husband ordered the burger medium, and it came out closer to rare. We had to ask for mayo/mustard as there was none on the burger. There also isn’t cheese or onion on it, and a big part of the lettuce was brown. Nobody ever stopped by the table to check on us once our food was dropped. We had to wait for our check for quite some time, as our server hadn’t returned to even refill our waters. Clearly I’m not the first one to leave a negative review about this place, but with the number of negative reviews, it’s also obvious management simply doesn’t care to do better, or they would. I wish had read reviews before dining here, but this will be a one and done experience for me here.

I took my family to the Livingston to celebrate my daughter-in-law's birthday. The waitress, Briana, was very pleasant and provided excellent service. The food was delicious. When we were ready to leave, I had the chance to interact with the host, Hydeia, who was also very pleasant and provided excellent service. I will definitely be returning to the Livingston in the future.

Do not go to this restaurant. We went there for Mother's Day brunch since this is the only one I was able to find a week before mothers day but now I know why! The food selection was terrible. The food quality was terrible. There were very very short staff and nobody came to take beverage order or nothing! We paid $760 for six of us. Even if it was half price, I would NEVER go back.

The food was delicious and our waitress, Jessica, was spectacular. The pimento smashed potatoes were my favorite. Highly recommend!

Arrived at a restaurant that looked ok and a friendly environment, some of the staff seemed lost and were confused with some of the orders, I ordered a chicken tikka massla. Which came out looking like a light brown spicy dansak, also the keman naan came out like a chapatti with tuna paste from a tin. When approached staff were helpful and offered a full explanation but it didnt hit expectations of an Indian restaurant.

We ate breakfast. From the moment we entered, we were greeted by a lovely host who seated us in the restaurant. Our server was attentive to our wants and needs. Our breakfast was very good and delightful !! We enjoyed each bite.

The service was excellent. We were a group of 12 and our food was out on time and with a smile. The Risott Shrimp Cake was fabulous.

The coffee was really good and the food was wonderful. I had the eggs benedict and it was perfection. The wait staff was great and the manager even came over to be sure everything was in order. Great experience.

LaMonte and Monica did a phenomenal job hosting me and my coworkers for a fantastic dinner. They recommended the ribeye and it was truly amazing. I also recommend their old fashioned as it is a perfect blend of sweet and booze. Swing on by for a great time!

We were staying at the Georgian Terrace and came here for a last glass of wine after our dinner in midtown . We were very disappointed that there was no wine list and the wine we were served, I guess their house wine, was awful and yet we were charged top prices . In a nice hotel, and the Livingston has a nice ambience, they didn’t have a drinks list. It might have been that they were busy and it was a theater night but not what we were expecting . It also looked like their restaurant was not open .

I stayed here for a conference last year and ate at the restaurant a few times. The best shrimp and grits I've ever had. Delicious beet salad. All the food was delicious!

I’m in Atlanta native you know so I’ve been going to the Georgian Terrace since I was a little girl. Livingston is a great place to have breakfast. Brunch or dinner or if you have something going on at the Fox theater just come over for dinner have a drink and wait until the show is about to start.

What we ate (low-country boil, Creole scallops, beet salad, and tasso ham/rice soup) was very good. Our server, Oz, was as good as they come. I'm handicapped and found the chairs to be uncomfortable and hard to get in and out of. Wouldn't want to spend this much ($90+ for two people) very often, but it was worth it.

The setting of this restaurant is so beautiful and romantic. It makes you feel like your in another place in time. The food is excellent. The Pork Belly and Salmon Chips are my favorites. They are very accommodating to dietary needs which makes it easier to come with picky groups. Very close to the fox theater so it is the perfect location to stop in before a show.

This is a great spot to have dinner before theatre at the Fox Theatre which is right across the street. They have a special Prix Fixe menu to get you fed and across the street to the play on time.

We had a great time here for dinner before going to the Fox. Made a reservation on Open Table, which is a must, because this place gets crazy busy. We both had the southern fried chicken ($22), which was served with 3 cheese rice and broccoli casserole, jalopeno turkey-bacon cornbread and potliker. I would have preferred the broccoli on its own, or a side of green beans or collards, versus the broccoli mixed in the casserole, but I do understand that it's a southern-style entree and it was very good. I'm looking forward to trying other menu items the next time, especially the duck confit sliders. I really enjoyed the elegant ambiance, although it was loud. The service was EXCELLENT, the food was served amazingly fast; and despite the crowd that night I did not feel rushed. I love that it's right across the street from the Fox which will make this my go-to place for dinner before any show.

Our dining experience at The Livingston was exceptional because of our server, Janae. She was so welcoming and personable, full of wit and charm. She was attentive and affable, and she made us feel like her #1 priority. An excellent server can make all the difference. We will always ask to be seated in Janae's section!

We chose the Livingston because connected to our hotel. We were a large party and they were extremely accommodating and the food was divine.

After 20,000 steps around Atlanta, we were looking for a nice calming quiet place to rest and have dinner (away from the Georgia Tech football fans). Although we weren't particularly dressed for dinner and didn't have reservations, we were promptly seated and had excellent service. We had the shrimp appetizer, and the fried chicken and scallop dinners. My husband loved his margarita. Wine list was adequate. We would definitely eat here again.

Thank you for putting on a wonderful conference. The food was amazing. The staff was friendly and very attentive to all my needs. Thank you again for a wonderful time.

My wife and I had dinner before the Phantom of the Opera on March 2, 2017. The food and service were wonderful. Guido's personality and passion for what he does is evident. One of the best meals we have had in a long time!

The service was great, and the food delicious. We were an indecisive party of four women that had never been there and the waitress was great with her recommendations. Everything, from drinks, to appetizers, to entrees were amazing and perfectly prepared!

Such a lovely evening - the staff was attentive and wasn't afraid to have a conversation with a lonely business traveler. And the food...wow.

Our waiter was nice and diligent but was overwhelmed...too many tables? After 45 minutes we asked about our food and he was honest enough to tell us that he forgot to enter the order....but remember and put in the order 15 minutes later...even so, it had still been 30 minutes for shrimp and grits. He promised the food momentarily but at the 1 hour mark, we talked to the manager. The food came out about 5 minutes later....and it was cold!!!!! The shrimp and grits contained five normal size shrimps, three or four tiny bits of sausage and a big lump of cold grits.....He comped the food because it came out late. He said, "the kitchen is backed up". There are much better choices nearby if you are going to the Fox, or next time, we will probably dine in the suburbs before we drive into the city.

Location was great. Had a hard time choosing from the menu, it all looked good. Service and food was excellent.

Hosted a luncheon for my niece here and was delighted with the service and private room. Windows in the room overlook the Fox Theater and the decor is beautiful. The food was wonderful, and I can't say enough about Mr. Hassan who served us. He was helpful, polite, friendly, and very accommodating. Great experience!

Amanda worked with me for 3 months to make sure our 40th wedding anniversary party was a success. We had a party of 8 for dinner before the Vince Gill concert. I requested an upstairs table, and we got it. Amanda met me at the restaurant to show me our table and to make sure it was what I wanted. We had a beautiful table by the windows overlooking the Georgian Terrace, terrace Our server, Oz was incredible, she promised me we would have the best service she could offer us, and we did. She also assured me we would have dinner and be at the Fox in plenty of time to be seated when the concert began, we were. I cannot say enough great things about the whole evening, the atmosphere, employees, food and drink were the very best I could have asked for. Thank you all especially Amanda. Sincerely, Elayne Eller.

This is not a one time visit. This is experience over years as a Fox Theater patron who enjoys a drink on their terrace after Sunday afternoon shows. Its ironic that the Fox advertises them as the "Bar and Restaurant of the Fox", yet they have no specials reflecting that, and don't service patrons on their front terrace. We always have to go inside and get drinks ourselves. And if we order food (their bar bites menu has no bar bites) its "Shock and Awe" if we ask for it to be brought outside to us. But, we like the ambience so we'll get a drink, and when its done wander to any of the other surrounding restaurants for bar bites or a great meal and they also have discounts for Fox patrons. I can only guess that this place is very poorly managed.

Met a colleague for breakfast at the Livingston Restaurant. The venue is comfortable and the service was good. Food was also enjoyable. Will have to return and try dinner.

I enjoyed my first visit at Livingston R&B for brunch! The ambiance and food was great! Our server, Diana was most warm and friendly! I will definitely be back and will recommend!

We ate breakfast here while staying at the Georgian Terrace, and the food was excellent. The setting couldn't be better located inside such a beautiful historic hotel.

Terrific food and service. Nice options for pre-theater menu as well. Very good Southern cooking and hospitality

We went here for the past Mother's Day brunch buffet and instead eating at a lunch hour, the restaurant extended their hours until 8pm and we ended up actually having dinner. They replaced the breakfast items with salmon and pork loin and they were both prepared very well. Lots of options to choose from and the desserts were great too!

A stunning & elegant atmosphere in the landmark Georgian Terrace Hotel mixing a modern flair with authentic Deco marble & iron. Classic brunch options mixed in with some boutique choices were quite reasonably priced $11- $15. Delicious southern grilled chicken with pimento cheese on biscuit bun came with fresh green salad garnished with sliced pear & dijon house dressing. Hamburger with sweet carmelized onion (& crumbled blue cheese, which we declined.) Shoestring skin on fries accompanied the meal but arrived cold. Burger was prepared med. rare (correctly as shown) but also was luke warm, not hot. Somehow we didnt feel it was the chef. Server never inquired to rectify. Service while pleasant was extremely slow with only 2 other tables being served at the time. Hearty portion did not allow us room to try their dessert menu. Extensive fine wine selection & full bar with specialty cocktails. We have enjoyed many events here in the past & recommend it in the hope service will improve. Make certain to ask. Metered street parking. Building garage parking. Beautiful limestone outdoor patio set with generous banquett and table seating. Sorry, there wasnt enough space allowed for more photos. Balcony & Ballroom event space

Ate breakfast here and the food was bery good and nicely priced! The staff was bery friendly and helpful!!

My husband and I enjoyed a romantic dinner here. We stayed in the hotel connected so it was super convenient. A bit pricey but great for a special night out!

Our family trip was ending and we ended up here and we had the best server!!!! His name is Ehren he so neat and professional!!!! He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and he was so helpful. We were asking about some of the local events and he was very, very helpful, we also did a college tour and we were tired. Ehren was able keep us laughing and his knowledge about cuts of meats was on point!!!! He was great anyone reading and you visit ask for Ehren, you will not be disappointed !!!

The service was very attentive and the architecture of the building is gorgeous. It was a warm evening, so I sat outside and had a nice view of the Fox Theater across the street. The food was generally quite good, although the fried chicken was a bit on the dry side.

1st piece of advice: Order the scallops (you can thank me later). 2nd piece of advice: Cross your fingers before you sit down and hope that Rob is your server because he is excellent. I had dinner at Livingston Restaurant + Bar during a recent stay at Georgian Terrace Hotel. I honestly had low expectations after a very disappointing room service meal (which I believe comes from the same kitchen) and a bland breakfast (in the restaurant). I was pleasantly surprised by how amazing dinner was. It was truly a fantastic dining experience. First let's start with the booze. They have a good variety of wines, beers, and cocktails. I wouldn't go so far as to say that they have an extensive wine list, but it hits all the highlights. The signature cocktails are pretty delicious. I had The Marquee, which is a very popular cocktail that has been on their menu for 5 years. I tasted The Livingston, which was also a great drink. The complimentary bread served with dinner is pretty good overall. The selection included some type of loaf bread (I think it was sourdough) and cornbread. The cornbread definitely stood out in my mind as the winner. The cornbread was warm, sweet, moist, and super flavorful. I had the fried green tomatoes as an appetizer - which, apparently, is a ranked dish. I'm very interested in learning who the person is that gets to go around ranking fried green tomatoes in Atlanta :-D The dish was fine if you like fried green tomatoes. I'm not a huge fan of tomatoes (in any form), yet I was able to eat it with no regrets. I had the seared Maine diver scallops as my main entree. Wow! What a treat. That was a fantastic dish. So fantastic that I caught myself thinking about it days later -- the true test of how much I loved it. I will absolutely have to return at some point to have this dish again. The dish came with shaved Brussels sprouts and clams. For real y'all, this dish is superb. I also tried the sweet tea pressed crispy duck, Logan turnpike grits, potatoes au gratin, and strawberry creme brulee -- all were wonderful. Aside from the awesome scallops dish, the other thing that stands out in my memory about this visit was the server, Rob. Rob was amazing! His service flowed smoothly. He was super friendly and personable while remaining very professional. He was knowledgeable of the menu and tailored his suggestions based on our preferences. He basically kept it real the whole time and steered us towards the dishes that would knock our socks off. Beyond the great food and service, I think the restaurant has great ambiance. I think it's actually quite a romantic setting. Very nice experience. Well done!

We chose this place for a dinner after we got married in a small ceremony with a few close friends, and didn't regret. Friendly staff, good drinks and tasty food makes us want to come back. The terrace was a good place to wind down before dinner.

Went here for a bite to eat before my wife and I went to the Fox for a show. Greeter and wait staff were very friendly. I had the cowboy ribeye and was very impressed with the flavor. My wife had the BBQ. It tasted too much like onion for her taste. We had the chocolate browning and bananas foster for desert and were very disappointed with it. Flavorless and dry. The waitress asked us what we thought about the desert and we were honest with her and she apologized. Still got charged for it haha. The view from the second floor was absolutely wonderful. The staff was on point and location is tops.

The good - easy access to the Fox, nice setting. The bad - terrible hamburgers, over cooked (ordered medium and came back burned), toppings were indescribable, as in did not resemble what was stated on the menu. A frozen hamburger heated in a microwave would have tasted better. Fries were cold. All for a long wait, questionable service and high prices. Recommend you find a different place.

Brilliant food & great service. Scallop Carbonara (from grits with poached egg in andouille sauce) & a glass of Vermentino. Bliss.

We had a wonderful dinner, the staff was amazing and Guido Pacinni's touch was evident. What a wonderful menu and a perfect atmosphere! Our food was delicious and we were over to the Fox for our play in plenty of time. We will certainly be back!

We visited the Livingston just before ringing in the 2017 New Year. The restaurant is beautiful. You have a view of Peachtree Street and can see the Fox Theater right across the street. We visited for dinner on New Year's Eve and then again for brunch on New Year's Day. The service was excellent and although we did not have a reservation we were quickly seated. We were informed of the pre-planned menu prior to being seated on both visits. The food was delicious and servings were more than enough as both DH and myself struggled to enjoy dessert. I would definitely visit Livingston again and would recommend to others in search of a fine dining experience.

Great service, delicious food - had an amazing Smoked Salmon app and the Braised Short Rib entree was melt in your mouth. Highly recommend this dish! Great selection of drinks and cozy atmosphere. We were headed to the Fox Theater for a show after dinner and this spot could not have been more perfect. Plan to return before another show in April!

I try to be open minded and kind about reviews. We dined here this week and our party had: Fried Chicken, Trout, Short Rib, Delmonico steak. Each and every entree was poor. The fried chicken (and i am not exaggerating) was like rubber, inedible. The trout was bland and the texture was like it was reheated. The short rib was the best but sub-par. The Delmonico was a horribly butchered piece of meat that was full and i mean full of gristle. The restaurant is pleasant, nice looking, and had good service. The food however was awful.

I am writing this as I sit in my fabulous suite overlooking the city of Atlanta. My belly is full. My soul is happy. My boyfriend and I just enjoyed a fabulous dinner at the Livingston Restaurant. The food was fabulous. However, what made the dining experience special was our server, Timothy Williams. Timothy was amazing. He was working at triple shift today. He served our breakfast and he was there for our dinner also. His hospitality, graciousness, charm, smile, wit and personality make Timothy the premiere model of what a waiter, employee and person should strive to be. I wish him well in all his life endeavors.

Just, no. I went to the Livingston’s “Thanksgiving Feast” with a few family and friends this year. Never again. Two positives: The building is beautiful. And parking was included The meal was an $85/person buffet. The food was mediocre. The service was terrible - which is saying a lot when all the staff needed to do was maintain the table by clearing plates and re-pouring the overpriced, not-included wine. Neither of these things happened. “Live entertainment” was advertised. Maybe it’s me, but I do not consider a DJ to be live entertainment. Additionally, we were told that we could not get separate checks. Then we were told that we could use only one credit card. Only by insisting were we able to get reasonable accommodation on the payment. Overall, a very underwhelming experience.

I was a little skeptical about dining here because of the previous recent reviews but decided to take a chance and I was glad I did. The restaurant's interior is nice. The service was excellent!! Our server was very attentive!!! The food was great!!!

My second visit to the restaurant. When you don't want to leave the hotel, a great place to eat. Be mindful of your appetizers. I made the mistake of getting a BBQ beef. It was very good; only 3 thick pieces. My entrée was pork chops. TOO much meat. I will eat there again but be mindful and ask about the portion sizes.

Great service! Salad was so tasty and so affordable compared to the PNW. The bartender was also very helpful!

We have booked rooms and suites at the Georgian Terrace and they don't have an operating restaurant!!. Does not make for a great hotel experience. Sounds like maybe they have breakfast. Fingers crossed. But don't plan on lunch or dinner.

For the first time in my life, I took the family to a good restaurant for Thanksgiving Day dinner and this was a superb decision. The Thanksgiving menu was served buffet style but the food preparation was superb. It was a superb value at $50 per person minus drinks. I do not gorge so I will only evaluate my meal. Everyone else was very pleased with their meals. I had the slow roasted NY strip steak with shallot jus. This was a superb cut of meat that was flavorful and tender. I helped myself to the cranberry-apple dressing as a side (it was bread pudding-like). The Brussel sprouts with bacon were done exceptionally, though one of my guests preferred them roasted---her criticism, but, she ate everything on her plate. The roasted baby carrots glazed with orange blossom honey and dill were superb. I decided to try three of the desserts. The key lime pie was as tart and complex as I expected, it was more sweet than tart, with nothing special about the graham cracker crust. The Bourbon Pecan Pie was well executed. However, the flour-less Chocolate Torte was the star of desserts, in my opinion, it was light and full of flavor, a pleasure to the eye, the tongue, and the soul. The beverage and table clearing service was spot-on. The view of the Fox theater we had from our table was pleasant. The architecture inside of the Georgia Terrace Hotel surrounding you within this restaurant is grand, with an open ceiling, columns, without being stuffy and pretentious. Wonderful venue, superb staff, and well executed meal made my family very happy and satisfied this Thanksgiving.

Came for dinner before the show at the Fox. Our waitress, Jessica, was fantastic. She was friendly, courteous, and made perfect recommendations on the menu choices. She timed everything perfectly so that we had plenty of time to enjoy our meal, and got to the theater with time to spare. Truely outstanding.

The Bourbon Glazed shrimp on grit cakes was excellent! The service was very quick, and the staff was very attentive!

I was in Atlanta for 4 days on business and entertained associates one evening and had dinner another evening. Both times the food was excellent and the waitstaff above and beyond. DJ and Lamonte were great bartenders and Earl and Russell outstanding waiters. Many thanks to you guys for the care you took of my clients and myself. I highly recommend this restaurant in mid town Atlanta for business events or family parties. Just Great!!!

This was a pleasant location to have a drink prior to going to the Fox Theatre. The staff was very helpful and accommodating the 4 of us upstairs on the couch. Very pretty location!

Shout out to Jessica at Livingston restaurant at the iconic Georgian Terrace. She and the rest of the crew are a classic example of southern hospitality. Great food selection, tasty and a clear view of the colourful Fox Theatre across the road.

Hosted a birthday celebration for 14 guests for my sister. We all had a wonderful time. The food was delicious and the service was superb. When we go again, we will ask for Timothy. He was on top of everything and made it a great experience.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner were excellent and the service was outstanding, you can't go wrong here.

We go here often before a show. We enjoy the beautiful and historic building, the pre-show crowd and, in nice weather, the expansive outdoor seating area with comfortable and relaxed seating. You can order both in the bar and the restaurant. We've done both and enjoy both. Service is good in the restaurant but a little frenetic in the bar before a show. But nice folks work here so it's all good. Good food with a somewhat limited menu; I've enjoyed everything I've ordered. A little pricey but not bad considering it's location. Not many gluten-free options. Signature cocktails only okay, but the beer and wine list is adequate. Nice-sized pours if you order whiskey. All in all if you want an enjoyable pre-theater outing this is a great place to go.

I brought my mom here for brunch before seeing The Nutcracker at The Fox. I had casually mentioned in passing that it was a trip for her 60th birthday when I made the reservation, but not in such a way that I wanted them to do anything special. Well, Livingston must have made a note of it and to both our surprise, our waiter came out with a beautiful plate of chocolate cake with a candle for her birthday. She felt so special and I was blown away that they remembered me mentioning it, as I had made the reservation months before. Excellent service. Gorgeous ambiance. Fantastic food. It was truly a wonderful experience!

The southern fried chicken was the best I had in Atlanta and the service was excellent, thank you Jessica.

We reserved a dinner spot here, allowing an hour and twenty minutes for dinner, to treat the couple who shared their tickets for Hamilton. Week night traffic was horrendous. We called and told them we would be late but we were still coming. We ordered all food and a bottle of wine immediately, after waiting 15 minutes to be acknowledged. We told the waitress we were on a short timeframe as we were going across the street for the 7:30 performance. After sitting at the table for 30 minutes, we still did not have our bottle of wine. (We did get our appetizer for the table to share, water, and bread). When she did bring the wine, she said it was delayed because they did not have wine glasses. Seriously? There is a bar downstairs, isn't there?....Then, she came with glasses, put the wine on the table, did not open it, and proceeded to attend to the table next to us. We called her back to open it. No apology, no explanation. Meanwhile, we now have about 15 minutes left to eat our meal which had not yet been served. The meals finally arrived. We told her to bring the bill which we settled on the spot. We gulped down the meals as best we could with the time remaining and dashed across the street. As it happened, we had to stand in the lobby to watch the first song before being seated. It appeared there was only one server for the whole second floor and two "helpers" who delivered food or poured water. No excuse, since they knew this was the theater crowd. They were totally understaffed for a pre-theater crowd of which they are keenly aware as can be seen from the review before this one about their brunch experience. The poor, slow service almost ruined the evening and certainly embarrassed us in front of our guests as it was supposed to be a "thank you" for sharing their Season tickets with us. Fortunately, the play itself saved the evening from a total disaster.

I had an amazing experience. Our waiter was Ehren and he took great care of us. He had exceptional knowledge of the menu and was very attentive when taking our orders.

I had eaten here a year ago. This is the restaurant in The Georgian Terrace hotel. I was seated immediately - they were busy - I had brunch. My server Shanna was right on it - very professional, in tune and could not of been more informative. The views looking onto Peachtree Street at the Fox are great - very relaxing. The prices here are very reasonable. I ordered the Livingston Omelette - no bacon or onions. It came with potatoes and toast - also ordered a sweet tea. The food was fresh and very good - the toast was great. It came out immediately. They will be coming up with so new menus in the near future. For a great dining experience on Peachtree Street - you need to stop here. The staff here is excellent - they work together as a team. Continued Success !!!

We went for cocktails Saturday and Sunday - drinks were great! But, the team seems to be WAY understaffed for this space, having 1 waitress for at least 15 tables. She was running around and forgot to get our check despite asking twice.

We went for lunch and I was really looking forward to it. We went at 1pm and were given a brunch menu, so that's what we had. I had the BBQ breakfast, which was really was very good. My mother-in-law had the Livingston omelet, which was also very good. My wife had the blackened chicken, which came on a honey-glazed biscuit. The chicken was tough and overly salted and I do not suggest trying to pick up a honey-glazed biscuit. I love the atmospherics of the restaurant, it's a lovely space. The service was very disappointing, for a near-empty establishment. Perhaps it was our server's first day. She forgot to take our menus after we ordered; we did not a water refill during the meal; there was no visit to check on how the meal was going; when I had finished eating, my plate was removed while the others were still eating; when the others finished eating, their empty plates were left in front of them for 15 minutes, which was when we finally managed to flag down our server and ask for the check.

Perfect restaurant to visit before a performance at the Fox Theatre. If you have time, start at the retro bar. Request a table outside.

What a gem! My wife and I dined outside in mid-June. Framed by gigantic old columns, this glorious restaurant did not disappoint. Tho' later in the evening (9:45 pm) we were greeted warmly, and served quite promptly. Some latecomers actually came (just for drinks) as we were departing. My veal chop was outstanding-placed on top of a medley of fava beans, black garlic ragout and mushrooms! Passersby recommended the butternut squash agnolotti to my wife-she said it was perfect. Rotary Int'l had just hosted a viewing of Gone W/The Wind @ The Fox-a theatre employee said some footage actually was taken inside The Georgian Terrace.

We had a nice meal at Livingston Restaurant prior to attending the Nutcracker at the Fox Theater. The food was good as was the service. We will be back!

Finally made dinner reservations before a Fox theatre show and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent-you must try the cauliflower popcorn!! It was recommended by our server, Eduardo and it was a great choice. Of course the fried chicken is not to be missed.

We arrived in Atlanta for a conference at the Georgian Terrace, that started right after lunch, so we needed an easy place to eat and rest our feet for an hour and half. The Livingston Restaurant looked like it served the bill. We arrived at 11:05, five minutes after opening, and they were not ready. The grill chief sat us, not having much luck in getting a hostess on the task. After that, the lunch went much more as it should. Starting with real-brewed ice tee, not some mix as we usually get in Ohio. We were not very original, both getting the Smoked Trout Salad sandwich. It was good, and an interesting departure from usual menu choices. We did not stick around for desert. The prices were better than expected, but there was not much atmosphere (no music or other sounds).

A friend made reservations for Sunday (5/27) 10am so that our “theater group” would have a fun brunch before seeing the matinee show of “Hamilton “ at the Fox theater across the street. Today (Friday 5/25) she received a call from the restaurant stating that we need to be done with breakfast within 45 minutes as the “theater crowd” will come in. WE ARE the theater crowd and made an early reservation for a reason! Well, she was told she should have made a later reservation but they are all booked now. Unbelievable!! I am incredibly upset to be treated like that! At the time of reservation this could have been pointed out and we would have come a little later. Well, I guess we know that with a good location you can treat patrons like this without much drop in revenue. Sad , sad, sad !

Ali was the valet at the Georgian Terrace Hotel (which is where The Livingston is located) and began the great experience. Ali was extremely nice and friendly and also thoughtful with my vehicle. Not only was he extremely personable but when he had a few extra moments he offered to take photos of my family and I in front of the Christmas tree. Brianna was our waitress and she too was fantastic! Once again, extremely nice and personable and really helped make our Christmas Eve dinner a pleasant one.

Right across the street from the Fox theater makes it the ideal place for a pre-show meal. Livingston’s not only has great food and great service, it is also located in a historic hotel that is worth exploring. So have dinner a little early and then spend 20-30 minutes walking down your meal exploring the hotel before you head across the street to the Fox Theater.

I truly enjoyed breakfast. The Terrace Benedict was perfection! I only wish I could cooks eggs this well. Loved the rosemary potatoes. Service was good and price is far these than what I expected. Look forward to returning soon!

Restaurant was very nice, small dining set up. Jeff Foxworthy was performing at the Fox so place was crowded. Husband order chicken sandwich, I ordered the burger, cooked well done with NO pink. Food arrived quickly, the chicken sandwich was extremely good, large piece of chicken cooked perfectly. My burger was cold red in the center. Showed it to the server, Jasmine, who came back and said the manager said nothing could be done about but she would take the gratuity off. Was not fair to her (she didn't cook the burger) so ended up paying the full amount. The burger was not edible. Ate around the cooked edges and left the middle on the plate. Was very disappointing to pay $18 for a burger that was not edible.

I came in for the first time had great experience. Monica was awesome love her sprint and personality. She definitely one of kind. I will definitely be back for sure. Thank you Monica you are the best :).

We happened to pass by the Livingston and decided to drop by to enjoy a bite and a few drinks on the patio before a show. To say that the manager, Murat, showed us an AMAZING first class experience would be an understatement. He made us so welcome...like regulars that have been coming there for years! His first class service, coupled with the amazing food an drink created an evening we will always remember. Murat has made us customers for life! We will definitely be back to Livingston soon and often!

This Sunday buffet was a huge disappointment. The eggs were generic, the half sliced quiches were dry, the sausage gravy was bland, the biscuits were hard and the french toast looked old. The potatoes and arugula salad were very good. The desserts tasted old and the cupcakes were stiff. THE SERVICE AND THE LOCATION ARE OUTSTANDING!

Great and convenient place to eat if you're staying at the Georgian Terrace. I'd give it five stars if there were non-pork protein options for breakfast.

I did not stay in the hotel but upon the recommendation of a friend, we visited the Livingston Restaurant. The service was impeccable from the time we entered. We sat on the terrace and LaMonte was such an attentive and knowledgeable waiter. He gave us food and drink tips and made our experience really nice. The prices were very reasonable and the food was sooo good. We had the shrimp and grits and the quiche with the arugula salad. Good amount of food, fresh and seasoned perfect.

We had 2 great lunches at Livingston's. Both occasions the service was EXCELLENT, food was very good and we received our food very quickly. Definitely, give this place a shot.

Excellent breakfast. We had made reservations but it was unnecessary as we were seated as soon as we walked in. The service is great and the food was amazing.

Had both lunch and dinner while staying at the Georgian Terrace Hotel. It was pretty good both times. Although the menu is rather small, they serve quality food nicely presented. Service was good and attentive on both occasions. Definitely worth trying out if staying at the hotel. They also provide the room service, which was also very good.

We visited Livingston on December 21st while staying at the Georgian Terrace and visiting Atlanta to see the Nutcracker. We were greeted by a wonderful hostess and served by Jessica who was a fantastic waitress. She went above and beyond to ensure that our visit was pleasurable and that we had everything needed. Thank you to Jessica and the staff for a wonderful dinner!

Ok, let's begin with the lovely setting this beautiful restaurant is located in...the Georgian Terrace hotel has a "old Hollywood feel" with a twist of modern/contemporary. Livingston's is a modern and bright American cuisine restaurant. The dinner menu is creative and diverse. In addition, there are pre-theater dinner and brunch menus. Chef Mark is a wonderful and creative spirit who does a great job creating a phenomenal dining experience for Livingston's guests.

One of the nicest hotel breakfasts I have had in a while at a wonderful price! Don't miss the grits and the Hash!! Highly recommend!-

LaMonte was the BEST bartender! Always a smile and super awesome drinks. The Old Fashined was perfectly made and made sure our food order was perfect. Although the bar was packed with a wedding party and Hamilton goers, he made sure all customers were taken care of.

BROOKE WINDLEY, General Manager of Livingston Restaurant and Bar ‘SAVED THE DAY’ by correcting my HUGE reservation mistake! She was very kind when I reached out to her to help me during her very busy day! I have enjoyed this restaurant many times before and after shows at The Fox and you will be delighted with your dining experience here!

We came in from out of town to see Phantom of the Opera and wanted to eat close by the Fox theater. The primary reason we selected the Livingston was its location across the street and it's parking deck. Much to my the delight the meal, service and ambiance were truly outstanding. There were 4 in our group and each one ordered a different entree and everyone was pleased. It was so nice to finish our leisurely meal and literally cross the street to the Fox. We did not stay at the Georgian Terrace Hotel but were impressed by the look of it.

I enjoy meals at Livingston's. Service is exceptional and the food is delicious. Plus I love the marble and decor, staircase and the view of the Fox Theatre across the street. Great location before or after a show at the Fox.

Beautiful setting and excellent Southern-inspired small bites including the pork belly and asparagus and cauliflower frites. Ask for Jessica an excellent server.

We went there for Mother's Day after having a wonderful brunch last year for the same occasion and BOY, what a difference a year makes! The offerings were slim! Pork loin, Pork sausage and Pork Bacon! Cold quiche! Chicken and "dumplings" which was more of a disgusting Pot Pie!! Salad offerings were horrible! The desserts tasted like "leftovers" from the day before. Needless to say, we won't be going back again! We ALL left very disappointed for the price that we paid! The room is beautiful and the servers were attentive! Valet for 3 hours was also included.

We received top quality service from Neepa tonight. She was very patient and attentive to our needs, even as she served others. Shout out to David for hiring such a wonderful team member like Neepa! :)

My daughter and I have been visiting the Livingston for nine years as a pre-Nutcracker tradition. While the menu has always been limited, this year's menu offered even less in the way of choices. Based on the waiter's (who was very nice but way too stretched) suggestion, I ordered the shrimp and grits--five fairly small shrimp and tasteless grits. The one thing this restaurant has going for it is certainly location and the beautiful holiday decor sported by the lovely Georgian Terrace hotel.

This is a very good restaurant across the street from the Fox, Dinner and a Show within Feet of each other.

The place is very cozy intimate setting. We had to set in the bar area due to not having reservations. However the food was good. The fried chicken was fried a bit long so it was to hard. the scallops and grits was GREAT. The service was good however the had to look for our waiter a couple of times He seemed rushed however the area was not busy I saw him a couple of times checking his cell phone. the apple and lemon drop martini were great. I would re-visit.

Lovely historic building. Valet parking. Pleasant helpful staff. Decent wine by the glass. Beet salad and the arugula with watermelon radish were both nice. Would've liked the butternut squash agnolotti from the dinner menu but ended up with short rib which was tasty and tender. An eclectic vibe of travel weary hotel guests, dates, families, accented by a long table of happy kids in prom finery. Literally cross the street to the Fox. What's not to like.

I was in Atlanta for a week working and I can't say enough about the attentiveness and quality of the staff and chef at Livingston. They all remembered me, and why should they? The food is great and they really go out of their way to be helpful. I had almost each of the breakfast items, all great, especially the short rib hash, and the dinner menu is eclectic and well thought out. One your own or with a date, this is a great place.

Stayed at the Georgian and decided to have breakfast in the lobby restaurant- we ordered the American - 2 eggs/toast/potatoes/bacon $9 the price was great - food was just okay. I asked for crispy potatoes (twice to make sure they knew ) and about half my potatoes weren’t edible. One of my over easy eggs was running and they put the potatoes over the runny egg to kind of cover it up, eh- Service was fine, 9:00 on a Wednesday and there were only a couple other people in the restaurant. The restaurant is beautiful, mocha and specialty coffees are available.

I was staying at the Georgian Terrace Hotel and decided to grab a quick lunch at Livingston which is in the same building. Friendly staff and basic menu.

Staying at the Georgian Terrace Hotel, Brunch at Livingston Restaurant. Five meals ordered: three cheeseburgers with fries, Cajun crawfish with eggs and Blackened Chicken sandwich. Burgers were great, cooked as ordered. Fries were so so. Were not hot or fresh. Chicken was very good. The Cajun crawfish and eggs were delightful. The menu was fairly limited for a Brunch service. Was expecting more options being such a large historical hotel.

I have enjoyed all of my dinners before events at the restaurant. The decor is very elegant and classy. It is centrally located to all things in the Atlanta area.

In the past few years when we are scheduled to see a play at the Atlanta Fox Theater we try and dine @ Livingston which is in the Georgia Terrace Hotel right across the street from the theater. The menu is not huge, but the food is very good. The big issue I have faced on 3 occasions over the past few years is getting a reservation. Certain times are blocked on Open Table. We have never been able to speak to anyone in the restaurant and always leave a voice message which is never returned. The last few times we call the hotel and they transfer us to the restaurant and we get the same result. This last time we tried to get someone we were put on hold for 25 minutes. When we entered the restaurant the other night we gave the receptionist our name, which she did have down.Half way during dinner we got a text message asking us if we were going to keep our dinner reservation. We advised them that we were half way through our meal and were sitting at a window table. I can kind of understand why the dining room was half full before the evening performance at the Fox. People probably could not get a reservation. In the future if I want to dine at this restaurant and can not get someone to respond to me we will go somewhere else.

I went here with a girl friend before a play for dinner and drinks. We were so disappointed in our experience. First we walked up to the hostess stand and the woman there totally ignored me for about 10 mins. She didn't even say hello. Finally another woman came up to say we can;t seat you but you can sit in the bar. We went to the bar and it just got worse. The service was terrible. We were completely ignored and waiters would walk by us and walk into us and our table. They would be so quick and not even look at us so we could get there attention so we could ask for something. When we finally did get something that was awful. I wanted a glass of champagne and they were out of what I wanted, so I had to settle for the next thing on their list and it came out flat. Our waiter never came back to check on us so my excitement of champagne with my night out went flat. Then our food came out. One of the items was not what we ordered and on item was cold. Again, no one came to check on us so that is what we were stuck with eating or we would not have made our play. I would never be back and I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Livingston catered all our food while at our annual retreat in Atlanta since we were staying at the Georgia Terrace. Everything was fabulous and they made us feel like royalty!

We expected a great experience for an afternoon Thanksgiving "feast" that cost over $100 per person for our party of four adults. For the price tag we expected a lavish dinner. We understood it was a buffet, but honestly, we think dinner would have been better at Golden Coral. The food was mediocre at best, The staff was not experienced and could barely speak English. There was no music but it was advertised, they were collecting all the flowers from the tables when we arrived at before our reserved time. They were obviously ready to close up the dining room.

Breakfast choices are limited, but they have something for adults and kids. Grits and omelets were really good. Coffee was amazing!

This was my second visit to Livingston's for dinner before a show at the Fabulous Fox Theater. The greetings by the hostess and staff were tremendous and friendly. Everyone had a welcoming smile! Once seated, our server, Timothy Williams, continued our quality experience, with great recommendations and quick service. The food and drinks were delicious and well prepared. Looking forward to the next visit!

Traveling for business and stayed at the hotel. Normally hotel based restaurants are okay. This place surprised me. Solid service and had the low country seafood broil. Wow. Topped it off with two Livingston Bourbon drinks that were small but wonderful. Flavors great and food was hot and tasted fresh with solid flavors. Good friendly service. Well done and close to Fox Theatre across the street.
Thank you, Stefen, for great customer service!
We got the best impromptu, private tour and awesome history of the hotel from the restaurant manager, Stefen, (from Hawaii)! Livingston Restaurant+Bar. The Georgian Terrace Hotel, circa 1911. Fox Theatre Historic District. Midtown Atlanta, GA. 8/17/18.
