Great Pho for a low price!

By Deadcooky |

So now I've been to Local Pho twice (+1 take-out) and it was both time a great experience! The service is discrete, friendly, super fast, the Pho is very delicious, hot and hearty, the rare beef I got was great and the prices are unbelievably low (two people eating Pho for under 20$?!). I think I found my to-go-place in my neighborhood to get great Pho!

Yum!

Food was amazing and so was the bubble tea and the service. Was absolutely worth the visit, and it was my dad’s first time having pho.

Gluten Free and Vegan Pho - Hooray!

By Tony K |

Went into this place on a rainy afternoon for lunch and figured I would just get some rice and vegetables since I have to eat a gluten-free diet and am vegan. I was excited to find that they pho noodles are gluten-free and they can do a vegetable broth. The pho was over the top delicious! Great service.

Just What I Needed

By DavidMcTier |

I am no expert on pho: I've had it several times, and this was as good or better than any I've had. The key is the quality of the beef broth. After pounding the pavement for an entire day, this was just what I needed to restore me.

Good Pho, Competitive Price, Fine Service

By BienAgiter |

A friend and I caught a quick lunch while waiting for spouses. Although not a Pho lover, my friend was more than satisfied by his Seafood Pho. Both of us liked the Summer Rolls which were not exceptional but certainly better than average. My Pho had good beef and noodles, fine quality bean sprouts/chiles/mint, and decent broth. Service was quite good particularly since we sat and lingered outside on a truly beautiful Saturday afternoon. On a more typical (or expected) rainy Seattle day the largish inside dining area is clean and neat so would be equally satisfying.

Had better, but seemed popular in the area

By TMERCADO10 |

It was getting late and across from the Inn was this nondescript little pho place. We enjoy a good Pho so we ventured in...the menu was not as diverse as expected. The soup was tasty, but not too hot. The service was average, our server seemed to want to get home... It was okay but not your very pleasant experience, however, we were hungry.

Great

By cielsurmonde |

Good prices, fast service and the food was delicious! Good fastfood if you don’t want all that fat and fried stuff!

Off the beaten path....

By Danny5k |

Great beef Pho soup and Chicken Vermicelli. Spring rolls were the paper wraps with Shrimp. Good variety of Vietnamese beers.

Great Pho

By Esly |

Great Pho! I loved the beef pho and the Lychee Booba smoothie. It was fast serving and the waiter was really nice. The place was really clean and the prices are good.

Tasty!

By Jeuneyang |

Enjoyed a well done beef pho although it was a very big bowl. Restaurant was just across the Belltown Inn where we stayed. Service was fast and good.

Perfectly acceptable

By rufusrastus |

Compared to what I'm used to (Oakland, CA), a fairly limited menu, but their soup was fine. Atmosphere more white tablecloth than the ChinCom cafeteria style sometimes typical in Pho houses.

Good Pho at Fantastic Price

By HarvardCatCat |

Wanted a hot bowl of soup as it was cold and raining the whole day in seattle. Local Pho was near the hotel so decided to pop over. Place was simply decorated but the beef Pho was yummy and portions if beef and pho were extremely generous. Price was also very affordable @ US$8.99 per bowl. Service was also quick. Very good value for money. Would definitely come back again if I am in Seattle.

real viet-aroi

We ordered an welldone beef pho and a frilled chicken vermicelli. Both dish was delicious and charming. We'll visit again

Huge bowl of Pho

By Chuck R |

We were staying in the neighborhood and just wanted a big bowl of soup and that is what you get at Local Pho. My wife had the chicken and I had the seafood and we both loved it. The place isn't fancy but the service was quick and the food was good.

quite a tasty pho--hot soup for a chilly evening

By Marc P |

My friend and I both ordered the beef pho. it was well above average, with a comple broth an dlots ofnoodles and usual add-ins. The spring rolls were perfeclty OK, though not special as the pho was. Fairly ordinary atmosphere, frankly, but it was close to the hotel. Other dishes looked tasty, especially the banh mi sandwiches. Attentive servie.

Quickie lunch.

By able58 |

Massive servings ... reasonable quality food. Service was fast and efficient, busy lunch place. Directly opposite our hotel.

OK

By Xanthoxylum |

Fast service and food was alright except it was pretty obviously leftover Costco Rotisserie chicken being used in the chicken pho. I know this because I make it at home that way. Don't expect to get served leftovers in a restaurant.

Excellent rich flavors

By Toro9 |

Fantastic pho, quick friendly service and reasonably priced. in a safe clean modern space. Actually some ambiance when eating pho! 6 of us got a great meal at 8:30pm after an art event across the street. They close at 9pm but cheerfully served us. We were in and out in under 30 minutes. Pho broth rich and flavorful. Fries huge portion for 2-4 to share. Loved the salad fresh crunchy delicious. My kids devoured the spring rolls and wings. A fun meal in a great space!

Giant bowl of pho

By julesaround |

They make a very nice pho soup (vegan option). The bowl is very big and pretty much impossible to finish, but it's very nice. Be aware that the spring rolls are fresh not fried.

I wasn't even sure how to pronounce Pho

By ssful |

I've had Pho before maybe 3 times in my life so am no expert.but this was very rich and filling with a nice beef broth priced under 10 the bowl was large enough to share for a small appetite.

Comfortable and healthy

We loved being able to eat something fresh and healthy while on vacation. The waitress was pleasant and service was efficient.

My favorite place in Seattle

By WBin |

I stayed in Seattle for a week and was sampling different cuisines around downtown. This small no frills, friendly restaurant is opposite Belltown Inn where I stared and I went there for lunch. The grilled pork vermicelli is the best I have eaten. So flavorful well marinated and perfectly grilled pieces of succulent pork. The sauces complements the noodles perfectly. Service is quick, portions are generous and good value for money. It was packed within 10 minutes and it is indeed a popular place with the lunch crowd. I certainly will come back if I return to Seattle.

Vietnamese in the Emerald City

By Marco 1986 |

I came to this Vietnamese restaurant because it was recommended by my Airbnb host. My order consisted of pho and passion fruit bubble tea. Both were very good. The restaurant had good prices as well. If i’m in Seattle again I would come back here.

Great surprise and You can tell...

By DrLuv |

You can tell that these people know what they're doing. A tremendous amount of sauces and additions are made by them. Its obvious they care. I respect that. Went there and got the chicken sandwich -- OMG, amazing! I've talked myself out of going back there just because I want to try other things while in town. Otherwise I'd already have been back. Also, the egg rolls were the BOMB! Some of the best I've ever had. The only thing I wasn't crazy about was the Kimchi. It seemed a bit bland and uninteresting. But then I'm eating a lot more of it due to its remarkable health benefits and becoming something of a snob. And -- if you're looking for a flawless decor -- eh.. you might be disappointed. Go check them out!

Ok

By The-Current-Mrs-F |

Fast, friendly service. Fresh food, good flavours and textures. The only downside was the food got cold quickly which I put down to the apparent lack of heating on the evening we visited (many diners kept their coats on)

Outstanding Food. Better Service.

By Jason J |

The food here was terrific. There was a fairly long wait--to sit at the bar as a single. It was worth it though. For less than $10 I had the best Pho I can remember eating. Super friendly wait staff too. Really felt genuinely welcomed, even with the lunchtime rush.

YUM. Reasonable and tasty.

By travelmore2day |

Casual little place perfect for our lunch with kids. Lots of pho options with veggie or beef broth (approx $8). Lots of rice dished too. They also offer a few yummy appetizers. The staff were super kind and helpful. A bargain!

Awesome and cheap Vietnamese food!

By Vthc4 |

One of the best food discoveries when I was in Seattle. Loved the rice noodles with grilled pork so much we had it for 3 nights! The pork was most heavenly! The serving portion was quite big so my wife and I would share it. Would love to eat it one more day but it was time to leave Seattle. :(

1st & 2nd time pho experience!

By joeyjstanley |

So good we went back twice during our vacation in Seattle. The beef pho was just a bit better than the meatball pho. The fried eggs rolls were a great starter too. The Staff was friendly enough but don't expect them to go over-and-above. They're more shadaow-like, always visible though to flag down.

pho is average

By Leewho |

Came here for a bowl of pho, it tasted ok, I have had much better ones before. It is a good place for a quick bite, as the noodle soup came five minutes after ordering. The soup itself is not as good as most I have had before. Will try some of the other dishes later.

Perfect on a cold, rainy night!

By MutantGirl |

I've eaten at many Pho restaurants. This Pho is to die for! Big serving, and the most savory broth. I've tried the vegetarian Pho, which is chock full of the freshest vegetables. And I've tried the rare beef Pho. There's nothing like a belly full of Pho on a cold and rainy night. Highly recommend!

Good but could be great

By Emjai1920 |

Quick and fast service in an unassuming store front with good food. service was quick and the prices are good. Appetizers run 5-8 dollars and are enough to share. Large bowls of pho are 8-10 with the option of buying additional veggies and extra meat, etc. The rare beef pho was good but needed a bit more spice.

Veg Pho

By backpacker31 |

I’ve spent time in Vietnam and have eaten my share of Pho, but I’ve never had vegetarian Pho...until now. I ordered Pho with a vegetable stock and tofu. I must admit, it was quite different from non-veg Pho, but I did enjoy it. The tofu was fresh and creamy. The vegetable stock was flavorful and a generous amount of fresh veggies accompanied the stock. Service was quick and friendly.

A hidden gem: I cannot believe this only has one other review!

By moominface11 |

We stayed in Belltown during a brief visit to Seattle in the Summer and came across this restaurant in Yelp. It didn't have many reviews but all the reviews were excellent so we thought we would give it a try. I'm so pleased we did: the food was SO delicious that we ate here THREE times during our stay (we stayed in Seattle for 6 days...) and took friends back with us after the first time! We gorged on the same things every time we went there (we were such gluttons because the food was so good): vegetarian spring rolls, vegetarian pho (honestly the best pho I've had - the broth was heavenly), and tofu and avocado bahn mi (I still think about this quite often!) The most amazing thing was that this fresh and delicious food was super cheap - I think our first meal cost under $20 for two of us (and we ate A LOT!) The staff were also very friendly. If you love Vietnamese food/or are a lover of good food in general and are in Seattle then you should really visit this restaurant!

Take out pho noodle dish

By Doolie77 |

Visited here for a take out noodle dish and spring roll, but very disappointed with the meals delivered ,as the wrong orders were taken,in spite of our particular meals being circled on the menu and pointed out to the staff. All the dishes were completely wrong when I returned home. Instead of spring rolls ordered, I received salad rolls and pho meat noodle soup instead of dried vermicelli with assorted meat and pickled daikon veg. Very poor taste and not happy at all.

What the Pho!

By Pioneer35569021646 |

What lacks in ambience they make up for it with the delicious Pho! Very, very good. Would recommend the wings also. Stayed at the Belltown Inn. It is conveniently located across the street. Great little find.

If you want good Vietnamese Pho in Belltown Seattle

By cy-kona |

I was staying at the Bell Town Inn and had just checked-in at 8:30 at night. Local Pho is right across the street. They close at 9:00 - so I ordered a take-out-order of Beef Pho and got it just before they closed. It was among the best Beef Pho I ever had and it was take-out! Usually I have to go to the Chinatown district in Honolulu to find a really good pho. A few days latter I wanted to try their sandwich but they were closed. If I stay at the Bell Town area again I will eat here again.

Pho-nominal

By Kamran M |

Been here many times. The broth is always excellent and quality of meat in the Pho Tai is on point. Always greeted and seated promptly, friendly FOH staff who keep your waters full and check in with you to make sure everything is well. Pricing is great for this undoubtedly expensive location. I don't even bother going anywhere else for Pho when I am downtown. I come here.

Lunch 4/25

By Lindsay C |

GOT FOOD POISONING. DO NOT GO HERE. My coworker and I both got chicken dishes (him Banh mi and me chicken and rice). I spent 5 hours throwing up that night, come into work and realize he did too. I call to inform them and the hostess goes “well what do you want me to do about it?” Go in for a refund and the OWNER says no!! $30 refund she denied. She asked us for a hospital bill. When we couldn’t provide one, she said no refund and shrugged her shoulders. Didn’t hesitate, think twice, or apologize for us getting sick.

Good, expected Vietnamese fare and flavour

By Merril Y |

Popular spot for its main staple of Pho... very consistent and of good taste... have been coming here for over 3 years and it always satisfies...

Good Pho

By bucketlisttravellers |

This venue was only a stones throw away from our hotel at the Belltown Inn. There are a range of Vietnamese dishes available between $10-$20 dollars. We had the pho with fried tofu and that was very nice on a cold winter's night.

Very salty

By Michael T |

As per the title I found the pho broth to be very salty. Otherwise the meal was ok The service was also fairly minimal and abrupt but probably ok considering the overall standard of the restaurant.

Good value, excellent fresh food

By NK-of-Kent |

The external impression is very modest. The rear ant was very busy, with few tables, a high demand and a rapid turnover. Good value, excellent fresh, delicious food

Great Pho

By Anne B |

I love the vegetarian and seafood Pho options here. Their fresh spring rolls are also delicious. We have enjoyed every meal that we have had there.

authentic

By DrP |

I think the owner are Vietnamese and the pho is what I expected. Great place especially if you consider the low prices. Too bad they don't open on Sundays.

Fresh and tasty meals!

By Tess G |

Pretty spectacular broth in the pho, especially after having recently travelled to Vietnam. Located fairly close to lots of hotels in the area so is a great and cheap option for tourists!

Check the ingredients, does NOT match the menu.

By Tim |

My wife and I popped in for a quick bite. she has mushroom allergies. ordered some spring rolls, and found a dish, no mushrooms listed in ingredients. plated came out quickly, Yep, mushrooms on the dish. I flagged down the waitress. She checked with owner, shrugged shoulders, and walked off.

Great food/ great service

By Michael J |

Wonderful Pho broth. Great grilled chicken vermicelli, served almost immediately. Just know you are there for the food and not the pretty average atmosphere. "White Christmas " played on the sound system in April!? Kinda Seattle weird!!! Had just what we wanted for dinner!!!

Good Family Restaurant

By jennifery118 |

Decent, cheap, family run pho restaurant in Seattle. Huge bowls of pho with lots of meat in it for only $10! Plenty of seating inside. Quick service.

Good eats

By Lisabeth M |

Was a great place to land after checking in from a long flight! Loads of locals... Nice folks! Loved the basil /beef pho

good food

By Marielle G |

It was across our hotel. They had a wide variety of food choices and the staff were very pleasant. The food tasted great!

Hit the spot!

By Greyrockgal |

I stopped at this tidy establishment in Belltown for a late lunch during my walk back from the Chihuly exhibit to my downtown hotel. I ordered pho with well-cooked beef, which, frankly, hit the spot! All sorts of people from hipsters to young mothers with toddlers filtered in throughout. It, clearly, is a go-to neighborhood establishment.

Good quality Vietnamese food

By chris_w01 |

Another good, honest, value authentic place in Belltown. I had the prawn summer rolls and mixed Beef pho. The rolls were super fresh and big! The bowl of pho was massive, beef perfectly cooked, if anything maybe a little overcooked but still very tender. I ordered a side of noodles that was not needed.

Across from the Hotel

By c1defence |

It was very conveniently located from our hotel, Belltown Inn. As we'd eaten there before we thought we'd try the Chinese restaurant next door, but though it was Friday it closed at 9 pm, so we went back to Local Pho, as we knew it serves value for money.

Great Tasting Pho

By jkells_13 |

Dinner option only has one size and it's very large! Their broth had a lot of flavor and I felt bad adding extra spice to it. Their rare beef was tender with really no fat. Service was attentive and the location was ideal. Prices were right around where they should be for pho. Seating was limited but it's great that they have outdoor seating when the weather is nice.

Made my brother a believer!

By Zippy P |

It's small and seems to be a family-owned/operated business. My brother lives just up the block so when visiting him last summer I took us here for pho, which he'd never experienced before. He had the chicken, I had the beef, and both were DELISH! And for a Belltown restaurant, the prices were super affordable. He's since returned with friends. I will happily return whenever in Seattle.

Authentic, fresh, tasty

By Vtrixy |

Had an early supper here with my son as it is situated opposite our hotel. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the chicken pho we had was utterly delicious and very inexpensive. Tasty, fresh and healthy. The venue itself is a little tired and scruffy but don't let that put you off. Well worth a visit. By the time we left every table was occupied and we had seen lots of people calling by for take-out.

The best Pho in all the land!

By Amber W |

Pho broth should be meaty, dense, flavorful, and not transparent... and this is where you'll find the perfect mix served in HUGE portions. Perfect for any day but especially on rainy days in Seattle. I usually get it to go - and re-heat broth before adding my raw meat. I have tried many of the Seattle Pho places and will travel to this one just because they get it so right!
