Awesome brunch

By Bearwife |

Another wonderful breakfast here. My eggs Benedict with gravlax salmon and my husband’s fall scramble were great, as was my spicy Bloody Mary and our coffee. Make a reservation or you won’t get in.

Just kept coming back for more!!!

By MonaGiants |

The food!!! The service!!! And their attention to one guests gluten alergy!!! We just came back over and over and over again while on our trip. The food was delicious, the service supberb. Can't wait to come back on our next Seattle trip.

You have to be kidding !!!!

By ElektraVelvet |

We have wanted to try Lola since 2012. Decided to give it a shot tonight. Upon sitting down, we were given menus. The hostess said before we could even open our menus that there was a 20% mandatory service charge and 10% tax on top of that. What the heck ? What if the service is not any good ???? It said at the bottom of the menu in very, very tiny letters that the charge was for the employees 401ks, health insurance, education opportunities, etc. We don’t even have those things ourselves !!! Do not plan on eating here unless you want to shell our big time !!!

Best meal we had in Seattle

By the2leftys |

This restaurant has a great vibe; cozy decor and the most delicious food ever! We discovered it on our last night in Seattle but had we found it earlier in our trip, a second visit would have occurred. Creative presentation of small plated food. We dined on most expertly prepared chicken and lamb kebabs, smashed potatoes, and English green peas! Then, coconut cream pie!!! Heavenly!!! And, this place had an outstanding staff. Wish Douglas group moved east...

Vanilla Mascarpone Cream - donut is just a carrier

By SubarcticHomebody |

We had a delicious breakfast here at 10 am on a Monday morning. No wait for a table for two. Good coffee with a small carafe at the table. Two of us split an order of a half-dozen donuts (Dahlia Bakery is a sister restaurant) with vanilla mascarpone cream and blueberry jam. Donuts are warm and shaken in cinnamon sugar before serving. Half an order was perfect as a breakfast teaser. The vanilla mascarpone cream was amazing and we could have just eaten that alone with a spoon. The blueberry jam was wonderfully strong flavored. The donuts were tender and warm. Perfect. For real breakfast one of us had shakshuka - well balanced, delicious, hot served with two pieces of buttered toast to mop up all the sauce. More than I could eat after the donuts. One of us had the Lola Breakfast and ate the entire thing. Just really well done.

Best dinner of our trip so far

By NeilMyrie |

Great service and great fresh food. My wife had the snap peas and the summer squash, both of which she really enjoyed. My kefthedes was also excellent. Highly recommended spot for dinner in downtown Seattle

Excellent without pretension

By susan p |

Excellent food, lively atmosphere, top level service. We had a family dinner and everyone found something to love on the menu.

Watch out for the scams

By KKarr123 |

The food was good, but the waitress totally scammed us. She kept coming by to ask if we wanted more unsweet ice tea and refilling our drinks; come to find out she charged us for each refill. Additionally we were having trouble deciding which kebabs to order, and the waitress said it was allowable to put two kinds on our plate, so we did. When the bill came, she had charged us double (full price for 2 kebab plates each). When someone says that you can put two kinds on your plate, I think most people would assume that you are not getting two orders, but splitting your order between two flavors. At $18 each, it was really shocking between double kebab cost and 5 ice tea refills unexpectedly charged when I received the bill. Despite good food, the whole experience left a bad taste in my mouth for this restaurant.

Great breakfast

Very friendly service, great food, breakfast, very enjoyable a great beginning to our trip we were 9 but not at breakfast

Brunch

By Deathstarplans |

I would recommend Lola for brunch. Try the homemade maple sausage. It was quite possibly some of the best sausage I’ve ever tasted. Attentive service. My friend had the dish with squid. Correctly prepared, it was very tender.

Great Breakfast

By Michael98133 |

We stayed at Hotel Andra after a Hot Stove Society event. We figured why not give Tom Douglas more of our money, so we had breakfast at Lola. We were there a little before 8 am. Staff was friendly and efficient. Though it did seem like they were trying to turn the table as fast as possible. No lingering over that second cup of coffee. Breakfast was excellent. I had the Asparagus Scramble and my wife had the Eggs Benedict. Both were spot on. Toast was from the Dahlia Bakery and was so good, we went over there after we finished and bought a loaf. We do a couple of Hot Stove Society events every year. We stay at Hotel Andra and eat at Lola. I see no reason to change any of that.

Great

By raininroses |

We had a reservation here for breakfast. The food was great, and the service was wonderful. The donuts were really good. We would come back here again.

The spreads...a must have!

By 1sttimeineurope2011 |

First time at Lola was a great find. Delicious Greek menu with intense flavors and perfect servings for sharing. The spreads were delicious and would make a great healthy snack while visiting the city. The service was slow due to a packed house before a concert a few blocks away but it was service with a smile and a friendly chat. Very nice staff, caring and warm. We will return!

Mediterranean Gem in Seattle

By Eric M |

A super-friendly spot with a little funk and some seriously good food. The half-chicken takes a bit (about 30 minutes) but is worth the wait. My colleague had a kabob with fig and raved about the nuanced flavor. Our server was helpful and attentive without being bothersome.

Disappointing

By Portia F |

Really disappointed, food mediocre We had a lovely server who was the best thing about Lola. Even the door staff not very forgiving Had scrambled Greek eggs, eggs Benedict and lamb kebab, all not good, under seasoned, nasty ham, hard not great kebabs Would not recommend

Not to be Missed

By JC82010 |

We were in downtown Seattle having little luck finding a sit-down restaurant for breakfast when we stumbled on Lola. The doorman at the Fairmont had mentioned it but we didn't realize it was as fantastic as it was. Let me say at the outset, if I ever go to Seattle again, I would absolutely eat there. Breakfast was a feast of delightful tastes. Our server was so helpful she even put their special sauce in our tomato juice. And that was just the start. Whatever you do, do not miss the donuts. Have them as an appetizer. They come with homemade jam and also homemade clotted cream. Oh, so mouthwatering they make you wish you have more rather than the entree you order. But then the entree comes. We got the Lola Breakfast, 2 eggs with sausage or bacon and potatoes. Sounds normal but it was so far from normal. Now, we are Irish and potatoes are a staple at our table. But these smashed potatoes were like nothing we've ever eaten before. Felt like we were in Heaven. We have since returned home and Googled the recipe and replicated it, a worthwhile endeavor. Finally, we splurged, for our breakfast the next day when we had an early departure, we got an extra order of the donuts (with the jam and cream) and a piece of their banana bread. The donuts were just as good the next day and the banana bread was mouth watering. The meal was expensive, yes, but it was an experience and a delight. I've never ever had a breakfast that was so delicious. We left Seattle soon afterwards and never had time to try Lola for dinner but I would in the future.

Good Food/Fun Bar

By Meg M |

Lola is attached to Hotel Andra, a favorite place to stay when visiting Seattle. We enjoy the bar as well as the restaurant, and consistently experience good food. My only peeve is that the bill comes with a 20% gratuity already included. As the customer, this should be my decision!

A lovely dip into the Mediterranean

By Beckyls213 |

A lovely dip into the Mediterranean/Greek food cuisine that was so very tasty!!! Appetizers that kept us intrigued with the flavors and tastes. Great options for substituting veggies for the pita for the gluten conscious. Healthy portions that were plenty to spare. Loved it!!!

Fabulous Pancakes!!

By Joy W |

You must have the pancakes with vanilla mascarpone; they are heavenly!!! The service was delightful and the music was on point!!

Excellent food!

By bonita_osullivan |

Very good Mediterranean food with good portions and great service. We shared puréed aubergines and calamari to start, then I had the chicken kebab. All the food was cooked beautifully.

Great breakfast

By Jeffrey K |

Had three breakfasts on different days with differing choice and all were great. Go for the donuts too!

Everything sold seperately, adds up quick

By Jampads |

Quality of food is excellent. The problem is that everything is sold separately. Price adds up quick for a complete meal. Expect to pay more than just $$. I had the pork kebab, $18 taste great but that’s it, you want sides you have to pay extra. Wife had Greek salad $15 Again quality is not the problem, very simple and fresh. We had the pita appetizer, 1 pita with a spread of olives and fig. $6, want an extra pita, $5. We ate some of the lower priced items. Want a main meal, look to spend $40 or more. Want a lamb burger, $23 want fries with that, $8 extra. If money is not an issue, then go for it you will probably love it. If your on a budget, this would be a pass, pass, pass.

Delicious Dining

By D4068OPrichard |

I hosted a dinner meeting this week at Lola’s at a cozy booth for 7. The food was delicious, attractively presented and with congenial service. The weeknight ambience was upbeat and crowded which made it challenging to hear—but we had no serious biz to execute, just relationship building. Highly-recommend fried broccoli (lots of crusty texture) and lamb tagine—so savory and tender.

Mixed bag

By MeraKi25 |

The app of pita and dipping sauce was fantastic. The tzatziki was so garlicky and amazing. The fig olive spread also did not disappoint... however, the mushroom raging left a lot to be desired. It had a strong earthy smell (read: dirt), and no flavor except the few pieces of apple thrown in. Terrible attempt at a vegetarian tagine. Waitress and I spoke about mint tea, but she never brought it. Coconut pie from Dahlia’s was good.

Great Mediterranean lunch

By DreamaG |

We had a great lunch at Lola. The service and food were both excellent. We had the pitas bread with spread and kebabs. A great lunch option in the city.

Excellent food

By Steves_Rickshaw |

Excellent food but I think it’s a bit on the pricey side. As long as you’re prepared to pay, you will be provided wonderful flavours.

LOVED Lola! Fantastic food and atmosphere!

By Carolyn G |

We adored our dinner at Lola! The appetizers, drinks, kabobs, and desserts were all amazing and our waitress was wonderful. Warm, fun atmosphere and such an imaginative menu. We tried several different kabobs - lamb, chicken seafood - but our favorite was the cheese and fig. The bread and spreads were a super fun appetizer and the triple coconut pie for dessert was to die for. Absolutely delicious!

Best breakfast in Seattle

By BB 33 |

Phenomenal breakfast options. Highly recommended. We had the octopus hash and shakshuka - truly delicious. Coffee was excellent too.

Nice atmosphere and great costumers service

By John Politano |

I’ve be here with my wife and the atmosphere is great , the food is ok and the costumers service are nice recorecommend

Good service

By APinkLady |

We were staying in the hotel next door for 2 nights so we used Lola's as our hotel bar. The service was really friendly, drinks orders were taken quickly. Drinks served promptly, even when they were really busy. The bar closes at 9pm so not great if you want a later drink before going to your room.

Great Treat for Saturday Brunch!

By Dozmond |

My wife and I and enjoyed our "experience" a lot! Our server/boss, Lori, made it a bit more memorable, but would have been enjoyed it none-the-less. I'm a TripAdvisor guy and I did my research. Yes--all the comments about the cost and mandatory Service Charge apply, but if you can get past that, then all the other comments about food and quality also apply! After a small wait at the bar for our reserved table, we took our valuable Mimosa and BM's to our table. We were seated by a very helpful bearded gentlemen who educated us on everything I had read the night before, but was way more informative on ingredients and options. We were then moved up to Lori as our Server. I could go on, but limited here, so however, it you get her section, then you are blessed! She was fun. Now to hurry up. I had Tom's Special Breakfast with Octopus, well, because it was recommended, AND it had squid in it, my wife had the Omelet because it had 4 different mushrooms in it, Both were great with special flavors we completely enjoyed. If you're going to go big, then go big! Anybody can get eggs and bacon. Prior to main stuff we had the donuts that had been so heavily recommended. They were super, and Lori took complete credit for being the best donut server on the planet. Above average food experience that one should be expected to enjoy and not quibble over cost!

Excellent food, ambience and service

By MIfamilyguy |

We went for dinner and had pita spreads, kebabs and donuts. The spreads and pita were very tasty, kebabs were excellent, with ouzo poured over tableside for a little extra sizzle, (and we shared a side of greens,) and the donuts were superb. I also enjoyed a glass of a very good Washington red wine. Service was exemplary too. Absolutely nothing to complain about; one of the best meals I’ve had in a long time. One tip if you’re thinking of going: make a reservation.

A nice evening with friends at Lola’s

By Dave J |

Lola’s is in the Belltown district of Seattle, an area with a great vibe. The food is excellent Greek. The leg of lamb entree was a healthy size portion that was wonderful without overly strong lamb flavor with an excellent black butter spaghetti as a side. Other great dishes served to our table were Shakshuka, Pork Kebabs, and a hearty Seafood Tagine. The tzatziki spread was wonderful. The service was professional and laid back with the expectation of a relaxed meal. The bill for food, drinks and tip was $330 for four people.

A MUST!!

By David P |

Best choice on way to end our vacation. Food was delicious as I ordered eggs Benedict and my girl got pancakes . Few bloody Mary’s with the recommendation of our wonderful server Deralyn (Dara) .. must come and wait to be seated worth the time 😃

Strong NO to Dinner

By Dominic D |

Upfront, I’m typically not a huge fan of restaurants owned by major Seattle chefs. I find them overpriced and a slight deviation of the true quality and craft they’ve been regarded for over time. Hence I verified my thoughts with friends before posting. We agreed, Lola fell short for dinner. Some dishes were beautiful, while others underwhelmed. Tiny protein portions, oddly mixed drinks and confusing atmosphere were it’s downfalls to me. Some elements of the food were very delicious, but overall was left underwhelmed by food and service. I felt like we were constantly waiting for service. The drinks were odd selections and not creative in the least—something I’d skip (as a recommendation). Short ribs were from one of the smallest animals possible. It was minimal. The chicken kebab was also strangely small, and left my friend drinking more water to try and feel slightly full following. The mezzes were generally good. Vegetable sides were basic. I normally don’t comment on decor, but this place threw me off. It charges medium prices (portions small) and almost tries to have a nicer feel, but the booths and general vibe reminded me more of a seniors diner (Cora’s for those that get the Canadian reference).

Late night menu not worth the price

By Sanil |

FOOD I have been at the time of the restaurant closing and therefore got my hands on their late night menu. The food is good, however it is a bit over-priced for the quality of food given. I'm not sure if its because of their late night menu though. SERVICE Our server was prompt and friendly. AMBIANCE The restaurant is dimly lit and cozy. Nice for an evening of chill.

Excellent service, very good food

By Jeff A |

The atmosphere and service at Lola were excellent. The food was very good and well-presented. We recommend Tom's Dinner which offers a great variety at a reasonable price.

Not Impressed

By howardr530 |

I heard so much good about this place we thought we would try it. I have had better. The spreads were ok not great. The shrimp peri peri were good but not great. The octopus was overdone.....the desert was excellent....the coconut cream pie and donuts were the best part of the meal.

Great Brunch Spot close to the action!

By Jayme270 |

This was a recommendation from a friend and also seemed like a popular spot among online reviews. We made a reservation on google for brunch and Lola didn't disappoint! I loved the mediterranean flair on the omelet and the donuts were a great starter! I thought it was a bit pricy for the diner feel, but the food was delicious and satisfying. Plus we were on vacation so OK with splurging on meals a bit. We stopped by on our way from the Space Needle to Pikes Place Market so it was also a great spot in-between the touristy activities of the day.

Great lunch on our last day in Seattle

By DeeEss |

My wife and I had lunch at Lola on our last day in Seattle. We had already checked out of our hotel so we wanted to eat nearby, and Lola was close and had good reviews, so we picked that. Good choice! I made reservations on OpenTable, and when we arrived we were seated outside without a wait. We didn't have any cocktails or starters. My wife had the Andersen Lamb Kebab with Greek salad, and I had the Duroc Pork Kebab with smashed garlic fried potatoes. All the food was very good, and our server Celia provided excellent service throughout the meal. Prices were a bit high, but the quality was good. Lola adds a 20% service charge to the bill in lieu of gratuity, like their sister restaurant Daliah Lounge across the street (which we also tried). We would definitely try Lola's again if we return to the area.

GF delight

By JennCO |

Enjoyed several GF dishes, including their delicious kabobs, dipping spreads, and artichoke dip. Wonderful!

Great eggs benedict

By WillemM |

Lovely place for breakfast. Highly recommend the eggs Benedict. The donuts are awesome too. Fresh juice is a must 👌

Mandatory 20% service charge

By AlexisRF |

Ive said it before and ill say it again and again and again. Tips are earned, it is not an entitlement. When you do a mandatory 20% tip you need to ensure that your service upholds that daring move of demanding and requiring your customers to fork that 20%. We went here for happy hour, the food was good, the service is OK but it is not at 20% caliber. Not a return customer here.

Bt

By Betty |

The place was overpriced the food wasn't all that for your money they should be sued passing ravioli sides for donuts and charging $11.00 them. You couldn't enjoy the overpriced breakfast for the waitress she was to much. By the was breakfast $90.00 for 3 people, that's what you look to pay for dinner. I'm still in shock. I would never go back there, or recommend it.

Amazing Dinner

By Judy W |

Lola was just reopening and we were so glad we were able to get in. Our daughter had highly recommended it. Our dinner selections were excellent! I chose two appetizers for my meal - tiny lamb burgers on a bed of hummus and roasted honey delicate squash. They were great! We would definitely eat there again on our next visit.

Sorely dissapointed

By rainbirdreader |

I spent several days researching great pancakes in the downtown Seattle area and settled on Lola because I had always loved Dahlia Lounge and Serious Pie. This was one of hundred breakfast meals I've had in the city in the past 30 years and by far the worst. I was seated in a cramped dark booth by a surly blond bartender who seemed ticked off that I did not want to sit alone in the bar side of the building while all the happy diners were on the other side. All the tile and glass made the room remarkably loud for the brunch hour on a weekday. I can only imagine it would be deafening when full and regretted passing up the quiet comforts of Andaluca almost immediately. My pancake meal arrived in good time with big fluffy pancakes and jumbo sausages and a tiny bit of syrup. First bite was complete paste. It was clear that cakes were too thick and not cooked through. Sourdough? Maybe. Hard to say. Not like any pancake I'd ever had in my life. I tore off the brown tops hoping I could at least choke those down and once the syrup was gone it was impossible. The sausage was lovely and had a real snap to the casing but not predominantly maple as described on the menu. Too many sharp spices for pancake morning. They would have been great in a pasta dish. So a few bites in and the rest on the plate. I honestly can't recall a more unpleasant meal.

Best breakfast I've ever had

By Jim O |

I ordered the Tom's Favorite Breakfast. Perfectly grilled octopus discs accompanied by thin potato slices, sauteed spinach, roasted cherry tomatoes, chunks of thick bacon, and a garlic yogurt sauce topped with a soft poached egg. OMG! Such good flavors and textures. I'd travel back to Seattle just for this breakfast dish. Scrumptious.

Overpriced Small Portions

By MikeW1980 |

I met some friends here for lunch while visiting Seattle. I ordered the Chicken Kebab with a salad. The chicken came out on small little skewers and left me wondering where all of the chicken actually was. The portions are very small. Some of my chicken was pink on the inside still, so I didn't eat that, which cut into my already small portion of meat. The salad that came with it was tasty. I was not impressed that they automatically include a 20% service charge to all checks. Be aware of this!! Thankfully someone warned me before I tipped an additional 20%. So a chicken kebab lunch cost me $23.78 and left me only partially full. I was not impressed.

Delicious! Shakshouka & doughnuts !

By Bottomle |

Delicious! Must try, everything was wonderful , staff were great, I think she was the owner slim cardigan wearing lady had a miserable face and never smiled, other than that everything was great. If you are the owner and reading this please smile and thank customers, after all they’re paying for your cardigans and keeping you in business - won’t do any harm. Having. A bad day? Leave it at the door. If I was rude to your staff you’d ask me to leave, so take note Food was truly delicious though! Had such a lovely breakfast!!! Shakshuka was AMAZING !

Weekend brunch, thumbs up

By AA |

This place came highly recommended by a friend who use to live in Seattle. We ordered the Greek scramble and Challah French toast. Both were tasty. No complaints at all. Good on flavor and portion size. Service was good. I’d like to return to try lunch or dinner items.

Nice bar experience

By MattieBo |

Great service at the bar. Tagine was really good. Lamb burger was dry and they upcharged us for cheese and did not tell us. The two women bartenders were friendly and service oriented

Found by accident and want to take it home with us

By Robert G |

This is a great Greek restaurant. It does not have all of the traditional Greek dishes but they are all Greek inspired. The starters were a big hit for all of us and the variety of the Lamb dishes was fantastic. I also had an Octopus plate which was over the top. If I could take this restaurant home with me I would. I will have to return to Seatlle to eat here again. (It is worth the trip by itself)

Ok Greek

By Mvanting |

Came for dinner after arriving first night in Seattle. We got our table and got the menu. With a little help from the waiter we made our order of tzatziki with some pita and kebabs with fries. The tzatziki was a bit tame but the kebabs were good. The room was really noisy as it was quite full but it was ok. Overall food was ok so would be between 3 and 4.

Best Breakfast and Coffee in Seattle

By Edgardo T |

Best breakfast in Seattle. Need to try “Tom’s Favorite Breakfast” and the “Golden Brown Pancakes”. I am not a pancake person but these are amazing BEST I have ever had.

Nice Breakfast

By Michael98133 |

Stayed at Hotel Andra after a Hot Stove Society event. So where else do you have breakfast than Lola? They open at 7 am on Sunday, so it is hard to say no to that. Had the Toms Favorite Breakfast. Not something I would normally choose, but it sounded interesting. It was well cooked and well seasoned, but as it turns out, I don't like squash and calamari for breakfast. My wife had the Lola Breakfast which is the traditional eggs, potatoes and bacon meal. it was really good. If you are downtown and looking for breakfast, Lola is the place. Professional and friendly staff and very good meals.

Overpriced

By AMyers |

3 half sticks of chicken, 3 potatoes, 3 pita strips and a pot of tzatziki for 18 dollars. Our meal for two was over 65 dollars and we had 2 chickens, a drink, and a tea.

Greek with a twist

By angc377 |

Part of the Tom Douglas family of restaurants, this lovely find has Greek and Mediterranean food with twist. Our group liked the beets, the chicken kabob, and the roast leg of lamb. Their tzatziki was also very good. Lola is part of the Hotel Andra. The decor is lovely and the wait staff are very friendly.

Good vibe but heavy handed on the salt

By Amy R |

We liked the restaurant and the staff was great. Two out of the four dishes we had were incredibly salty, specifically the skewers of grilled calamari. We couldn’t eat it and our server kindly offered to replace it but we declined. The fritters were our favorite dish.

Awesome breakfast

By Departure65270871154 |

The place to be for breakfast! Waitresses are adorable, quickly served, excellent products! The Dahlia granola and French toasts are perfection!!

Not your typical lounge/bar food

By Cyndi V |

I was flying solo on a business trip and was looking for something quick and healthy. I sat at the bar because The restaurant was packed. It was Restaurant Week in Seattle. I ordered the chicken kebabs and half Greek salad. Wow, was I surprised. The chicken was tender and moist, very flavorful. It came on a skillet with veggies and a tahini sauce. The best part.... the donuts, which come with jam and marscapone cheese. Heaven in a paper bag!

A new favorite

By Joseph S |

My wife and I ate dinner at Lola. All around excellence in regards to service, staff knowledge of menu items and advice, drinks, and the best lamb I have ever had.

Great Breakfast, Service Out of this World

By Judi39 |

We had the best breakfast ever on a recent visit to Seattle. It was so good that we decided to go back later in the day for the homemade donuts, served warm with cinnamon sugar, mascarpone & apricot preserves. The service both times was exceptional. However, the "Out of this World" service comes from the fact that we had overpaid our bill by $30.00 because we left a $50.00 instead of a $20.00 for an $18.00 bill. Lola's called us because our server had brought this to the host's attention and we were able to collect the overpayment. How often does that happen? Kudos to the service staff at Lola's for being so kind and honest. We will always make this a stop on our upcoming visits to Seattle.

Bringing Fun and Find Dining Back to Seattle via Greece

By Larue57 |

What an adventure! This is a true Greek Mediterranean forward restaurant with a deep PNW foundation and ... AMAZING. When you are an experienced entrepreneur/ restauranteur like Tom Douglas, one doesn't do things half way; this place simply hits the mark on all levels: The menu is creative, dynamic, and open to tapas like options, family shared plates, and individual meals. The cross section of appetizers, salads, mezzos, and entrees landed within the Mediterranean theme. Rather than going into each item, we'll just leave it as a true destination location. And without a doubt, a memorable meal. Fortunately, our waiter, Steven, guided us with suggestions and helped create the right tone throughout the meal. Thank you

Favorite restaurant in Seattle

By Annie19a |

We have been coming to this restaurant for the last 5 years. It is the first restaurant we decided to enjoy while in Seattle in June of 2019 and it lived up to all the expectations we had. The food is divine, the waitstaff helpful and pleasant and we even got to eat outside this time. Don’t miss Lola, it is a Seattle treasure.

Good Food

By John379 |

Stopped for a nice lunch, saw a couple people complain about the pricing, we didn't have any issues. I ordered the lamb burger and the fries came with the order no extra cost. The lamb burger was perfectly cooked as were the fries. My wife got the salmon kebab which was also cooked perfectly, slightly under cooked to prevent it from being dried out. All in all good food, good service.

Expensive and Dissapointing

By rdy2retir |

We were seated at the first table off the door right at the doorway to the bartender's counter where all of the staff traveled to ring up bills and get drinks for tables, contstant motion. The cheapest (small) glass of wine was $15! We had the Lamb kabab, 3 skewers with 4 small cubes of over-done lamb on each, supposedly served on a bed of grilled onions, well, there was only a small sprinkling. The second entree, the marinated ribs at $24, served alone, barely had any meat at all, maybe 4 bites if we were lucky. The fried squid appetizer was reasonable and good. The $10 fries, maybe one potato worth, were limp, with no discernable rosemary flavor. I understood that Tom Douglas did away with tipping in his restaurants, but when the credit card machine was presented the "recommended tipping" started at 20%. Unfortunately I won't be returning.

Excellent dinner!

By maapar |

Had dinner here and wished we could come back for breakfast. Had olive and fig spread which was very good and then split roast leg of lamb with squash ,honey and pepita seeds. For dessert, wonderful apple baklava. Atmosphere very plain , service good and food amazing.

Nice venue, friendly and helpful

By jamesrY4343XQ |

Nice venue, friendly and helpful staff with tasty food. Would have been 5 stars if the price was a little lower; ie didn’t feel it represented value for money.

Highly recommend. We loved our meal. Great vegetarian selection. Lovely atmosphere and attentive staff.

By Linda T |

Delicious and interesting food. Great atmosphere. Good variety of dishes to suit all tastes. Lovely cocktails and wines. Would’ve loved to have had enough room in our bellies to try the dessert.

You'd go nuts for this dough

By Khai L |

You'd go nuts for the dough from this Tom Douglas restaurant. The made to order doughnuts come out in a bag, shaken, and then poured out onto the plate begging to be eaten. They are hot and airy on the inside and lightly coated with sugar powder laced with cinnamon on the outside. The mascarpone is light, creamy, and so buttery; the jam is tart and sweet. They are perfect companions to the donuts. If you don't have much time, make sure you at least make room for the donuts. They might be the best donuts you've ever eaten.

Brioche French Toast? Yes please.

By Cam |

Comfortable booths and great place for conversation, coffee and amazing breakfast food. The brioche French toast was fresh and delicious - highly recommended!

Outstanding Food and Friendly Service❣️

By Joan88 |

A very wonderful lunch! Delicious choices for vegetarians too which we took advantage of! Yum! The spreads on pita and the mushroom kebob were truly special. Our waitress was fantastic! She encouraged us to start slow and order more if needed. We didn’t need more! A treasure in a great downtown location!

Amazing breakfast

By Samihifi |

Breakfast is one of my favorite meals. Lola is now one my favorite places in the country. The Eggs Benedict with Bavarian Meats ham was amazing. Their garlic smashed potatoes are super good great service as well. Note, a 20% tip is included on the bill, but now worries on my end, they was great service and great food. Don’t miss this !!

This is good!

By KaronR |

We were staying in Hotel Andra attached to Lola’s and went in to grab a lite lunch after arriving. It was really good! Mostly Greek dishes that had a perfect balance of flavors. I think it surprised me being right there with the hotel (you know “hotel food”). We went twice more for breakfasts and they were wonderful. They use local cheeses and meats that are outstanding. It is a busy place but the wait staff has a good sense of humor and is very accommodating and professional. It is a small menu, but done very well.

A great breakfast

By Teri W |

There were five of us including a baby and the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We were served coffee right away and our meals were varied and delicious. This restaurant is popular so be sure to get there early.

Spectacular!

By samanthaf1963 |

Rustic, Greek, serious breakfast breads and smashed garlic potatoes, what more could anyone want? How about coffee? I mean GOOD coffee? Wow. I am so sorry we found this place too late to eat there again. The breads are all rustic and handmade and irresistible. My Eggs Benedict were delicious and the dilly hollandaise was amazing. Now for the garlic smashed potatoes. OH MY GOSH!!!! Crunchy and a little salty and totally addictive. Great for post-party or to buck you up for the coming day. I really, really, wish I'd had more time to return here. They were amazing.

Different but good!

By Jane H |

You will need a reservation as this place is popular. It was a little hard to hear our waiter as it is family style service, and the place was full. Food was well prepared and presented. Enjoyed the octopus appetizer very much! Both it and the squid were perfectly cooked and Very flavorful. The menu items are all al a carte. Food portions are nicely sized...you will leave full. Deserts are special. The coconut cream pie and the Turkish coffee ice cream are exceptional. Pricey but good quality.

Excellent Innovative Meal

By CaboSanAntonio |

We were staying at the Ändra Hotel so this place was more than convenient. We went with friends and we all had different dishes and everyone enjoyed them immensely. I had the Tagines Rosemary Braised Lamb Shank. Wow. The Oaxacan Fire was one of the best cocktails I'd had in quite a while. The energy and service was great too, a fabulous evening out. Whenever I come back to Seattle, I'll be coming back here.

?????food not so great

By Daydream267746 |

I did not find 1 place with Excellent food. Disappointed in the trip to Seattle. I was so happy to arriveto my dream city.. Food was not so good.

Breakfast

By shereenbourne |

I came in on an empty stomach and couldn’t finish the Lola breakfast. The fresh blueberry jam of the day was great with the toast. I will order the handmade doughnuts next time.

Rare gem

By Kohn W |

Amazing food and service for a pretty penny!! Get the feta brined chicken and snap peas. Fills up pretty fast, reservations are a good idea!

Get the Doughnuts!

By Cassie Chichester |

My friends and I came here for brunch on day 1 of our girls trip. I ordered the salmon scramble (can't go to Seattle and not get your fill of salmon) and the order of the homemade doughnuts. They are made with fresh jam from nearby Dahlia bakery. The food tasted fresh and flavorful. I highly recommend here for brunch!

Came hungry, left hungry.

By abrosz |

We came here for dinner with our family of four and spent $73.33. We spent $8.00 each for two kids chicken kebabs that consisted of about 8-10 small pieces of chicken and a side of fries. We spent $16.00 each for two lamb kebabs that consisted of three small skewers of around five small pieces of lamb each, which came on a very small bed of onions. The kids each drank a soda and the adults drank water. The food was good, the waitress pleasant and prompt. We left hungry...

Great breakfast.

By PeteWLondon |

Really lovely gaff, buzzy vibe but not too loud, sat at the bar and had their house Bloody Mary and breakfast with sausage, and a martini to follow. Friendly staff. Great food and drinks, highly recommend. It’s a Greek themed menu, my smashed tatas (potatoes, not er…!) were herbally hellanisric and went well with the eggs and delicious sausages. Highly recommend.

In search for Greek dinner

By Tito L |

Staff was accommodating when we arrived for dinner on a Saturday night without a reservation. We ordered Tom’s big dinner for three and everything was tasty! A couple of suggestions... to make it a more authentic feel, I recommend having olive oil at the table and offering toasted bread while waiting for appetizers. Also, including authentic dishes like teramozolata and Greek coffee will make it better. Otherwise, great food and service.

Bad Server

By TravelRocksGirl |

The food was fine, even good, but our server was truly terrible. She spoke in monotone, never looking up at us or making eye contact, even when she approached our table for the first time, at which point she said (looking down at her device, not at us), "Do you want anything?" That was how she greeted our party. It did not get better until we left two hours later. She did not offer a dessert menu and seemed annoyed when we requested one. Once we had paid (over $300), she smiled for the first time and wished us a good day. I understand that we never really know what other people are going through, but with a job in hospitality, it's important to make an effort to not seem entirely put out by our presence. Honestly, the food was fine, but my family will not be back because of this experience.

The donuts are to die for

By AnoushRaffi |

Great service, yummy high quality breakfast and their donuts are to die for 👌🏻👌🏻👌🏻 it’s a must to try. We are addicted!!! Highly recommended

Great brunch at the Hotel Andra.

By vansancopp |

Adjacent to the Hotel Andra, Lola is a perfect place to grab a bite first thing in the morning. A carafe of coffee was left on the table while I enjoyed eggs benedict with ham. My partner also had the eggs Benedict but with gravlax. Rather than have fried potatoes, the kitchen was able to substitute sautéed kale as an accompaniment. The service was attentive and the food was well prepared. A good way to start the day.

Summer Squash Is Heavenly!

By Amanda C |

Lola was amazing, as always! But I have to write a review dedicated to the summer squash. It was easily in the top five dishes of my life. It was so delicious that we ordered two orders and went back for breakfast. Don't miss out...get summer squash while it is on the menu! Thanks, Lola.

Unique Menu

By 265az82 |

My wife and I were staying at the Hotel Andra and decided to try Lola's (once for a light snack and once for breakfast). The food is mostly Mediterranean and Greek. The servers are very friendly and patient with their menu item explanations. For our snack we tried the pea soup and the olive spread and pita. Both were delicious. For our breakfast, we had the yogurt and granola, eggs benedict and polished it off with their homemade doughnuts and spreads. Very delicious! Be prepared to pay a 24% service charge, though in lieu of tipping.

Scrumptious Breakfast at Lola!

By Mary M |

My sister and I made our first trip to Seattle last week and made a stop to Lola’s for breakfast and it did not disappoint! Our server was Nick and he was very knowledgeable about every item on the menu from breakfast until dinner. We started with Lola’s homemade donuts which were super light and fluffy, tossed in powered sugar. Then, Nick conviced my Sister to order the Octopus hash and I had the eggs bene, substituting the ham for smoked salmon. Everything was AMAZING including the Mimosas that we had with our breakfast. While the menu was small, there is something for everyone. The service was fantastic. Lola will definitely be a return trip the next time we are in Seattle.

Food is good, ambiance is meh, sound level is deafening

By Ted C |

We normally stay at the Hotel Andra where this restaurant is situated. On the whole the food is quite good both breakfast and dinner. The surroundings are nothing of particular note a cut above a high school cafeteria but not that different. The table service is good and the menu has some interesting items. Because all of the surfaces, floor, walls, ceiling are hard surfaces the sound level is way more than we can tolerate, hence we usually go elsewhere for dinner. This restaurant is very popular so reservations are a must.

Great dinner busy place.

By Family2035 |

Staying at the adjoining hotel Andra we decided to eat close by and thoroughly enjoyed our meals and drinks. A Mediterranean menu mostly tapas shared plates but all very nice fresh good healthy style eating. Also a great wine selection we like to try the local wines and beer. Has a nice atmosphere with booth seating a little dark with no views. Would certainly recommend and return if possible. I would suggest booking but has a nice bar to wait if your not in a hurry.

Delightful and a bit unique

By Steve T |

We had breakfast, a group of seven. Easy walk from a downtown hotel. Comfortable, warm and inviting. Service was excellent. Every bodies breakfast was very good and each selection had a unique quality to it, not just a good basic American breakfast. Would definitely go back here.

Innovative Menu

By Normal_DJO |

Outstanding restaurant in the Hotel Andra. The grilled octopus appetizer was on point and the goat entree was excellent. Service was well paced. I’m also a fan of the 20% service fee that’s added in all Tom Douglas’ restaurants. It allows them to hire and keep good kitchen help while also giving servers flexibility in their schedules. Wish more restaurants did this.

Wonderful breakfast

By Ammi72swe |

We came here for breakfast. Plenty to choose from and quite ok prices. I had granola with Greek yoghurt and fresh berries. A generous portion was served with plenty of blueberries, raspberries, blackberries and gooseberries. The others in the party took other dishes but were equally satisfied. The fried potatoes they got for theirs were amazing.

Best Breakfast Ever

By Stephanie D |

If there is a better breakfast than the Lola granola, Greek yogurt and fresh fruit, I haven't tasted it yet! My husband had the cooked breakfast and almost swooned over the sausages! We returned for a second visit & had to wait for a table; it was worth it. Jordan was our great server on both visits; it was lovely to be remembered.

Great choice for Greek in downtown Seattle

By leven4all |

The concierge at our hotel recommended this place for dinner. We really enjoyed the food. The salmon was great and so was the lamb burger with the chick pea fries. The squid kebab was very good. Service was very attentive, and the waitress was wonderful. Would highly recommend Lola if you are in town.

Lunch on 4th avenue

By weyl-59 |

Good for lunch -- surprising to find an excellent Greek restaurant sitting in the corner of a nice hotel. Highly recommend the lamb burger and the salmon kebabs. Nice selection of wines. Service was outstanding.

An average breakfast in Seattle

By Luis R B |

Originally, our plan was to go for dinner; however, we changed the reservation for breakfast becuase of a recommendation. The place is very well located in downtown Seattle so it is easy to move from there. The dishes are good, not spectacular. The service is excellent and it was noticeable when a dish that we didn't like was deducted as a customer repair in the final bill.

Great food, but...

By Angela K |

The food was really good. However, there was so little of it, considering the cost of the dishes! Very small portion sizes that cost a lot. HIGHLY recommend the doughnuts for dessert, though! It was worth going just for those.

Nice experience...

By Michele G |

Had dinner here. Food was very good. Three of ate @nd all enjoyed our meals. Would definitely recommend it.

Mostly delicious

By Sonia S |

Dinner was a slam dunk. Delicious! The breakfast needs to rethink those potatoes and the size of the bowl of fruit was a joke - too small!

Great meal in relaxed atmosphere

By ockerman |

Only a few blocks from the Belltown Inn, we made a dinner reservation and had a lovely meal. They even made a special cocktail that had recently been rotated off the menu upon our request. Good service, great atmosphere - we spent $110 with tip for 2 so good value as well.

Great Sausages

By MChan |

I really love their sausages and that's the reason I visited for breakfast 2 days consecutively. However, the portion of their pancake is way way too heavy, super thick and with cheese filling. I had the seafood k**** for dinner one night and it was just ok. Clams and a bit of scallop. Staff are ok, but the place is always super crowded, regardless of breakfast, lunch or dinner. I do agree that price is a bit steep for breakfast, unless you are someone who needed big breakfast like me.

Delicious Sunday brunch

By Elizabeth M |

We were lucky to get a table as we got there early but would recommend making reservations. Our server recommended the doughnuts for before our food came out and they were utter perfection. Definitely order the doughnuts. We got the Lola breakfast and the Tom’s breakfast (the octopus and combination of veggies was divine). They charge 20% service fee which is actually awesome (no calculations!). Not to miss this brunch spot !

Won't return

By SWaN1111 |

We went in for drinks and sat near the bar. No one served us, so I had to order from the bartender, who then passed it off on a server as he was too busy. She then disappeared and I had to hunt her down for a small appetizer. She messed up the order and disappeared again. I hunted her down again and asked for two more glasses of wine and a bill. The bill had 20% included as a tip, which I would never have given based on the poor service. I gave her cash, and she shorted me $20 on the change, they had the audacity to say "I'll be mad at you if I come up $20 short.". The food was just OK, and the smell of it infuses the entire hotel - not always in a good way. When you include a 20% tip, there's no incentive to perform well, which was obvious from the bartender to the server. Overall, super expensive mediocrity.

Very good breakfast

By Cheechako2 |

The breakfast menu is simple. It also struck me as a bit expensive - $25 including tip for 2 eggs, toast, sausage and potatoes - no drink. But the edge of the Seattle financial district is something of a food desert, so I was overall pleased to find a place where the kitchen did such an excellent job. The ingredients were much better than the usual. The service was very good once my server realized I had been seated at her table - though that took 10 minutes. All around I would go back.

Everything good but the price

By joe |

Good atmosphere and the food was tasty. Large but expensive drinks. Imaginative menu. Efficient and friendly service. Too expensive overall but whudaygonnado?

Keto breakfast in Seattle

By Juli M |

I love food in Lola. I ordered plate with salmon . Fresh onions, cherry tomatoes, chess and some bread. And of course my favourite eggs (can’t imagine my day without eggs). It was delicious guys. The salmon has amazing taste, it isn’t sticky on my teeth like from super market. It was not salty.it was really amazing, with real taste of salmon (I am a salmon lover). Enjoined my first breakfast in Seattle very much. Lola Seattle located not for from the Public market near the Elliot bay. I will back again and try something else new

Great food, perfect late night snack

By Ral W |

We wanted a bite to eat after a movie, and were happy to find that Lola was still open after 10:00pm. We had some skewers - one lamb and one salmon, which we shared. It was the PERFECT thing for us -- very tasty, and just the right amount. Had a glass of wine too. Our server was friendly and efficient. Great place - will come back!

Delicious food, attentive and friendly staff

By Elizabeth A |

We had such a delicious meal here, some foods we knew and some were completely new. Everything was wonderful. Waitress was helpful in choosing, and came by just enough to ensure we always had what we needed without hovering.

Best meal we had in Seattle

By lpsh |

We didn't expect such great food as we stopped spontaneously. Fairly casual atmosphere.Loved everything we had even though we don't necessarily seek out this cuisine....will definitely go back!

Amazing Breakfast at Noon

By jackiebr63 |

Caveat: we sat at the Bar because the wait for a table was 1 & 1/2 hours! But with that in mind the three of us absolutely loved our food! The three of us are vegetarians/pescatarian (we eat fish) so if it called for meat that was removed, except their house made smoked salmon on the Benedict! Those eggs & sauce were a WOW! I had the omelette with incredible mix of feta and another Mediterranean cheese-delicious! And my son’s girlfriend had the vegetarian scramble! The potatoes were excellent! The toast also divine. We also ordered the lemon fig scone so scrumptious that I ordered one to go for my husband. The blueberry jam homemade and superb-real fruit and certainly not overly sugared. We all three this agreed that his was absolutely a return to place. Next time we will make reservations for the well in advance! The bartender was excellent in everything too.

Excellent breakfast

By Frank s |

We just had breakfast at the place. The choices are vast and the food sumptuous. I loved the pancakes and the toast. The place is nicely decorated and not too loud. Just a comment : the granola yogurt at 20$ is really overprice,,,

Went for Restaurant Week and loved it!

By Kelli S |

Great spot for a date night, everything we had was delicious! We were able to go during Restaurant Week and their pre fixe menu was a wonderful sampler of all their eats!

Vegetarians don't go hungry here!!

By SeasonedBizTraveler |

We sampled a bit of everything and each mouthful was a rewarding experience. The ambience is cool, the food amazing, the location perfect and the staff super friendly.

Amazing brunch

By Wilson L |

We came here for brunch, we had an unreal time! The food is so good and the service was great. The donuts are absolutely delicious and the greek scramble was so good. Definitely will be back again next time I'm in Seattle.

Great Breakfast

By D S |

The doughnuts and the scones are a must have for breakfast! The service was great there and the location is great since it is so close to Pike Place.

Overpriced plus 20% automatic gratutity which is also taxed

By BCGringo |

The food here is fine but very pricey although the service is inconsistent. They also automatically apply a 20% service charge and state tax applies to that as well, so eating her will set you back. There are better options with as good quality food but a much better price point where you decide the gratuity amount.

Amazing Greek-fusion meal!

By jennyma9 |

Friends and I decided to stop by for Restaurant Week after hearing good words, and we definitely weren't disappointed! We ordered the beef skewers and hummus with pita - the skewers were delicious & juicy, the pita was... interesting. Very unique flavors. The main we ordered was the lamb shoulder pasta and salmon. Both were delicious, but nothing too special. The pasta had great flavour and the lamb was a bit sparse but well cooked. Salmon was also delicious - the crispy skin added great texture too. The desserts were all delicious - cheesecake was slightly too dense for my liking, but the rhubarb balanced it out. The trifle was light & delicious! All in all, nothing mind-blowing here but a good meal nonetheless!

Hot Spot

By Stephen P |

Lola in Seattle is a Hot Spot for anyone seeking a delicious breakfast. The food is fresh, vibrant, and full of flavor, but what really stood out was the excellent service from Sabine. She was attentive, knowledgeable, and went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed throughout the meal. Her warm personality and thoughtful recommendations made our visit even more enjoyable. Highly recommend both the food and the outstanding service!

Great breakfast in Seattle

By Janis |

We went there for breakfast and went back the next day it was so good. The homemade donuts are so good! They are similar to beignets in New Orleans My son had two different egg fishes and said both were amazing Great service both days!

Excellent brunch spot

By KansasScout |

Had a post-holiday brunch with excellent food. Eggs Benedict were really good. Service was good, prompt, a little bit European feeling, but not unfriendly. Menu mentioned Greek origins of the owners but did not have the impression that this was a Greek restaurant as menu was very broad. Reservations are a good idea as it is very busy place. I would return for the food. Only kick is the automatic 20% tip. I understand that as it is described in the menu as providing wage support and benefits to the staff. The only problem I have is that you have to assume the wait staff is paid adequately up front and is not dependent on tips as in most restaurants. Wish their "up-front" explanation provided the assurance.

Great find!

By Victoria W |

Fresh and interesting take on Mediterranean food. Try the pita and dip appetizer and the kebabs!!! OH MY! Everything is freshly made with care and very flavorful.

Brandy was a great waitress & food was out of this world!

By Kasey |

Brandy was a fantastic waitress and gave us a great experience. The food was phenomenal and she was very patient with us trying different foods. The plates we had were fantastic and highly recommend. I have never like Tzatziki before and tried it here at Lola and loved it. Amazing taste and spices. Thank you for having us!

Warm and cosy spot - nice breakfast

By Radia L |

I loved my asparagus scrambled eggs and the warm atmosphere at Lola’s. Very nice service as well. Can’t wait to taste the pancakes !

Always Delicious

By aSeattleFamily3 |

It is hard in Seattle to find a place to lunch, and Lola’s always delivers. Their dreamy Eggs Benedict and creative breakfast options, also available, ensure I am a regular customer. A Seattle must!

Great Tasty Place for Dinner with Friends

By geomom01 |

This was our first time at Lola and we loved it! We had excellent service from the hostess and our server. They take reservations thru OpenTable which was much appreciated. We started with the Olive-Fig spread which came with pita. It was a nice sized portion for one person, as there were 6 small pita wedges and just the right amount of dip to cover the pita. We shared one dip and probably could have gotten two since the rest of our order did not have bread or rice. Then we each had a Kebob and shared a Greek Salad as a side. Our salmon and lamb kebobs were beautifully cooked to our requested temperature and delicious! The Greek Salad made an excellent side dish. Everything was very tasty. We will definitely go back.

Brunch Heaven

By Carrie B |

Amazing brunch enjoyed by all 4 of us. Delicious flavours with a menu full of creative options. Try the homemade doughnuts, yummy! Oh and our server rocked!!

$50 for breakfast???

By Asit V |

We were staying next door so we thought we would give this place a shot. To echo another reviewer’s comments, we were charged 20% “service tax” for two people. I was confused at first then I read at the bottom of the receipt that it was for 401K plus employee sales’ incentives. They need to post this 20% service tax up at the main door so that people can decide if they want to pay an extra 20% for their food. The company who owns the place is basically passing the $15 per hour minimum wage on to the customer. That’s fine but at least give us the option to decide that by letting us know before hand. We paid $50 for an oatmeal, two cappuccinos and an egg white omelet with potatoes. The food was decent. Won’t be returning!

Excellent Experience

By CS1Portland |

Brilliant, just a brilliant dining experience. Steven is a super good waiter. We ended up eating too much, but note the Salmon kebab was amazing. Lamb burgers not as rare as we would have liked but nevertheless enjoyable, as was Turkish manti. , Ravenna IPA was good as was the syrah blend bottle. Nice atmosphere, we think we have even been here many years ago, not sure

Great service, amazing food...terrible coffee

By Rachel M |

Visited Lola for Sunday brunch. Our waiter was prompt and courteous. We went with two of his recommendations and ordered the eggs Benedict and Tom's favourite breakfast. Toms favourite breakfast was AMAZING! I didn't try the benedict but heard that it was very good. We ordered two coffees with breakfast and it came in a small pour pot which was great. Unfortunately, the coffee was terrible. I would expect better coffee in Seattle, especially in a Greek restaurant. Overall, a great meal in a beautiful restaurant...but next time, I'd save some money and use the stale Keurig pods in the hotel room.

Excellent Breakfast

By teachermom_10 |

We had breakfast here and enjoyed it very much. I highly recommend their homemade breakfast sausage. We also had great service.

Excellent breakfast

By Jose Ricardo G |

Excellent food, well seasoned and very good service, many breakfast options, even with octopus. Everything very rich and abundant

Delicious breakfast selections

By CharlieW |

We had brunch here on our first day in Seattle and liked it so much, we went back again on our last day. Service and atmosphere are excellent. They leave a carafe of coffee and decanter of water on your table once you’ve ordered so you don’t need to flag anyone down for a refill. We had the Lola breakfast, como French toast and golden brown pancakes. Everything was delicious and served hot with little wait time. Their blueberry jam was amazing, as was their bacon and vanilla mascarpone. They have great coffee and cappuccinos too. If you’re going on a weekend, make a reservation online. We arrived 5 minutes before our reserved time and were seated promptly, by the time we left there was a lineup out the door (around 0900 on a Saturday).

Creative menu with a Mediterranean twist

By LGH |

We arrived for dinner on March 5 right before the Stay Home order went into effect. We ordered kopanisti, pork and lamb kebabs, smashed potatoes, and fried broccoli. It was all great. Presentation of the kebabs was lovely. Smashed potatoes were perfect but the hit of the meal was the fried broccoli which our server recommended as I was dithering over what to order. Always ask the server (Rebecca in our case) when in doubt who told us the broccoli was the current staff fave. It was beautiful - green and breaded lightly? somehow with a snap. I asked if it was aleppo pepper and she checked and yes! Anyway just great. We wrapped up the meal with limoncello. Hope to go again someday.

Absolutely Delish!

By Manolobgroupie |

Had eggs Benedict for the very first time, sauce on side. It was very good, with fresh straight from farm, locally sourced ham, sausage, vegetables, etc. Nice variety of options since everything depends on seasonal availability. Pancakes were very tasty & mimosas (champagne bottle w/fresh squeezed orange juice on the side) hit the spot! We were there on a Sunday so the wait was about 1/12 hour but took monorail to Space Needle to view it, then came back just in time. Also had the beignets with maple syrup, so good! Enjoy, it’s a treat!

After Show Dessert and Drink

By ESK1717 |

We attended a show at the Moore Theater right around the corner and wanted something afterwards. Lola was a hopping place and the dessert and beverages choices were great. Also great service.

Nothing Special

By Rumples |

Four years ago, I had a terrific meal at Lola, so I invited three visitors from out-of-town to join me there for dinner recently. The food ranged from just OK to very good; the service proved to be mixed; and the atmosphere was casual, crowded and extremely noisy. When we arrived at 5:30 p.m. on a weekday, virtually no customers sat in the long, somewhat narrow room with booths down the center and tables on both sides. But the place filled quickly with both people and noise. Eventually I could hear virtually nothing that the two friends opposite me said. I had to focus my attention on the friend next to me and talk with the others after we left. Dishes here can be shared or ordered individually. We opted to order small plates individually and offer samples to those who wanted them. The lamb kebabs were a big hit, but the little green peppers, described by our greeter as mild, had to be returned because they were blistery hot. I was disappointed in the summer melon salad, because the slices came with herbs and seasonings that detracted from the luscious fruit and gave it a bitter taste. Another salad was quite good, and so went our dinner, which was truly a mixed bag. But I can highly recommend our dessert choices — coconut pie and baklava. Our pleasant server started out prompt and attentive, but that changed with a full restaurant when she seemed to disappear. There was at least a 20-minute wait between ordering desserts and receiving them. I consider Lola to be pricey for what you get. The final tab (no alcohol) for four came to $245.09, which includes tax and a 20 percent service charge of $37.10. Our server told us about the added service charge before we ordered. Traffic can be dreadful Downtown, where Lola is located. We opted to come by Uber.

Outstanding Dinner

By Patti S |

This restaurant was highly rated on both OpenTable and TripAdvisor. I was looking for a restaurant open on Mondays, and this one was, so I made a reservation for 6pm and boy, I'm glad I did! The restaurant was packed even that early, and after having the food, I can see why: excellent menu with lots of options for dietary restrictions, excellent food, and excellent service. If you're looking for a hip, tasty restaurant in downtown Seattle, this is it.

Delicious and very expensive$$$$$!

By THE SUNG FAMILY |

Visited on a Saturday afternoon. Restaurant was packed but we had a reservation. Ordered from the breakfast/lunch menu which is available until 3 p.m. Started with the doughnuts. Super yummy, but the portion size is small. Arrived piping hot and the waiter put on a cute show shaking them up. Entrees were the Lola breakfast and the squid kabobs. Both were delicious. The kabobs contained five skewers which were well seasoned with a mild chili spice. Both came with smashed potatoes and the squid included a tasty hummus and 4 slices of pita bread. Tea and one alcoholic beverage completed the meal. Service was swift and friendly. Even though the restaurant was busy, you still had enough space to have an intimate conversation. Here’s the thing...Eating in Downtown Seattle is expensive. Parking is expensive$$, the food is expensive$$ and in the case of this restaurant they add an automatic 20% gratuity regardless of party size. For the two of us with parking (2 hours), we ended up spending almost $100. For dinner maybe that price is tolerable, for breakfast, it is a little steep.

Start Your Day at Lola’s

By Addy A |

Highly recommended by the Bellman at our Hotel! He was right about Lola’s! The food was wonderful, the service was quick and efficient and the coffee was terrific! Lola’s is a great way to start your day!

What a good breakfast

By 4Uyes |

What a good breakfast, as good as I remember the first time I ate here almost 15 years ago. Service was absolutely perfect, the food excellent! There were three of us and we ordered Lola’s Breakfast (2) and what a meal. Maple sausage, applewood bacon and sunny side egg... very tasty and also ordered 3 stack Pancakes with Maple Sausage. The Marscapone vs Butter exchange was the key in the pancakes. Of course, would not be A Lola’s Breakfast without starting with their famous doughnuts! Great Breakfast!

Tasty but .. . Way overpriced

By Lisa S |

The food was very tasty but very expensive for a very small amount of food. We had 2 orders of mushroom skewers (which amounted to 2 very tiny skewers each) and 2 tiny pita breads with 1 shared dip, one hot cider and a bill of $60. We left hungry. This is a popular, busy place but we can’t understand why! The cider was also not the drink I ordered.

Wow!

By KarenKiyo |

Loved the service and the food! We must grazed through a variety of tapas and small plates. Everything was wonderful!

Authentic food!

By erika2205 |

Delicious food, nice sized portions, very lovely service. Enjoyed all the dishes we tried. The only complaint is that the lamb was a bit undercooked.

Exquisite flavors

By bajanboca |

As we arrived a couple that was leaving told us it was the best meal they'd had in Seattle. Encouraged we reviewed the menu. Very different offerings and we were unsure of the kebobs and sides we ordered but once we tasted our options we were delighted. The portions are on the smaller side but we were satisfied and cleaned our plates. Highly recommend if you're looking to try something different and enjoy Mediterranean flavors. Also, the menu was celiac safe and the servers were knowledgeable.

Great

By vilaaida |

I went there for lunch and ordered the lamb kebabs.... they were outstanding. Served with delicious greek salad, Even the coffee was very good. 😬. Very friendly staff. 20% gratuity is included on your check and they will remind you of that.

Seattle Dining is Overrated

By Brian |

We stopped by because this place seems to be highly rated on Yelp, Tripadvisor, and OpenTable. We have no idea why because the Greek Scramble we ordered had little flavour and the Octopus Hash was rubbery. After speaking to some locals, it seems that dining in Seattle seems to be highly rated in general despite being pretty mediocre and our experience with other restaurants in the area was similarly disappointing despite the rave reviews. We left Seattle feeling really confused by the food scene

Do you want to pay 20% more that your bill for food and drinks? It's mandatory here!!

By J S |

DO YOU WANT TO PAY 20% MORE THAN YOUR FOOD AND BEVERAGE BILL IS? This restaurant tacks on 20% to your bill as a Service Charge! Four of us went here for drinks and two had food. My wife's and my bill for one lamb burger and four drinks with tax came to $ 61.00, but then 20% was added to the bill along with sale tax on the 20% bringing our total bill to $75.31!! So, we went from $61.00 to $75.31 because THIS RESTAURANT - on its own - tacked on a Service Charge and required tax. This is WRONG! We will never go back. Fortunately for us, we noticed the Service Change as the tip is to come out of this amount. Each restaurant doing this decides how to divide the 20%. Be sure to ask BEFORE you order anything at any restaurant as I understand more and more restaurants may do this.

Amazing breakfast!!!

By Irina B |

I was here for breakfast earlier today and I want to say it was one of the better breakfasts I had in my entire life!! The place is very cute, cozy. Service impeccable, we loved our waitresses. The food was the star of the show here!! My sister and I both ordered the Eggs Benedict as well as an order of the donuts to split. The donuts came out first, which was a little odd, but we did not mind. I guess they're really not meant to be a dessert. They were superbly light, fried to absolute perfection. They were served with vanilla mascarpone cream and homemade jam. Both were absolutely phenomenal. The Eggs Benedicts was the best I've ever had. I love eggs Benedicts so I have had a lot in my lifetime. The sauce was a tad bit runny and probably not as light as I would've liked. Everything else was sheer perfection. First off, let me start off by saying that this was no traditional English muffin. It was either made in house or obtained from a bakery. It was thick and toasted to perfection. I've never had an English muffin like this. The Canadian bacon was not something that comes in the package. It was five or six slices of most perfectly cured meat. I usually judge my eggs Benedicts by the way the eggs is poached. This had the combination of perfectly cooked egg white and perfectly runny egg yolk. The dish is served with garlicky potatoes that were boiled first and then fried with spices and salt.

Go...You Go NOW! This place is unbelievable!

Hands down, the best breakfast we have ever had! The shakshuka was amazing...the pancakes were so light and airy...and don't get me started on the scratch made "doughnuts" that are essentially beignets....come to your table in a bag with cinnamon sugar and they shake the bag with the warm doughnuts....and the vanilla mascarpone and house made blueberry compote....*chef's kiss* I am not kidding...do not miss this place if you are traveling through Seattle.

4 1/2

Really 4 1/2. We ate twice because it was the only moderate restaurant near our hotel. Brunch was lovely. Great service. Satisfactory food. Dinner meal was tastier. Good dips and pita and delicious chicken kebab.

great breakfast served by fabulous server, Lori

Great breakfast served by fabulous server, Lori. Everything tasted wonderful— fresh beignet-like doughnuts served with mascarpone and jam, a dish of grilled octopus and various goodies under a poached egg (Lola specialty), eggs Benedict. Wish we had time to try Lola’s for lunch or dinner.Lola’s for lunch or dinner.

Best Mediterranean Cuisine in Seattle

On our last evening in Seattle, my friends and I stopped into Lola's. Most restaurants were closed for the holiday weekend, but the doors of Lola's were open to receive us. The folks here were super friendly and very welcoming, The food here is incredibly fresh and delicious and the service was top-notch. I will definitely return here on my next visit to Seattle!

Great food!

Excellent food! Great service. Try the homemade donuts. Also the homemade granola or sausage. All their food is great. Enjoy!

Watered down Greek

Not the authentic Greek place as imagined. More westernized version. The portion is small for the price. Grilled salmon main is 3 skewers of 2 inch fish each. Taste is serviceable. Service is friendly.

A Greek gem

By vivace21 |

We are of Greek decent and we were staying downtown after our Alaskan cruise, just a few blocks from Lola at The Sound hotel. We stumbled in one evening, hungry and not knowing what to expect, and SO happy we discovered this gem. All I can say is YUM. We loved everything we ordered, even my glass of chardonnay was delicious and when I accidentally spilled a bit of it, my waitress graciously topped me off. The service was wonderful, we had chicken and salmon kabobs and Greek salad (real authentic Greek salad) and even the pita bread was delish (order extra, it is worth it)...so yes, go here!! You will love it.

Outstanding breakfast choices

As always, this place was terrific -- creative options on the menu, all of which are appealing making it difficult to choose! Nice problem to have!I had the challah French toast with mascarpone. Delicious.

Still awesome

About a year and a half ago we were in Seattle and Lola (along with Dahlia) were recommended to us by a friend who lives there. We went and were very impressed. Well, here we are, back in Seattle again, so naturally, we had to go back to Lola. We were not disappointed. We ordered two kinds of kabobs (chicken and lamb), a beet salad with heirloom tomatoes and sliced plums, and saganaki. No flaming dishes or shouts of “opa” but it didn’t need it. The saganaki had a few sliced peaches that were topped with fennel pollen as a garnish, which was a great complement to the crispy cheesy goodness. Everything was excellent and more than enough for the two of us. But the special treat was the cherry chocolate torte for dessert. Warm and served with mint choco chip ice cream. I would have licked the plate, but my wife said it was bad manners. Five stars for Lola!

Soooooooo Tasty!

Lola was just what we needed! We arrived with two families and received excellent service. Our kids loved the menu (especially the house made donuts). I was excited for the diverse menu and veggie options! 10 out of 10 for sure!!

We stopped here for lunch and were very happy with our choice! We had the pistachio spread which was delicious (it’s with a feta/blue cheese mix). I had the salmon kebab and my wife had the squid kebab which both were delicious. The Greek salad side was okay (traditional Greek with no lettuce).
